Sir,
I had applied for a home loan (10 years) and it was sanctioned, but the land purchase had to be called off. IDBI said that I can use the processing fee if I take a loan within six months. Now, I selected a plot and approached for loan. As the amount I require now is lower, I asked for decreasing the tenure (7 years). But, the loan officials tell me that the system is locked and the tenure cannot be decreased. If the loan amount can be reduced, can they not reduce the tenure. I dont want to pay an extra lakh in interest.
Can you please advise.

    magar 2 week se asehi bolate hai.

      I deposited amount at 11.30am sharp on[protected] as there was LIC premium of Rs. 1000/- on that date. Evening I found that Bank had deducted Rs. 225/- as ecs Return charges. It seems that they have returned the ECS as there was no balance before 11.30 AM. As there was no specific time limit for ecs clearing. I don't understand the logic behind this.

      Is there any guidelines for the same

        Hi Guys,

        Few months back, I have applied for Housing Loan from IDBI BANK, Allahabad Civil Lines Branch. They told me that the loan will be sanction within 1 month. Me and my elder brother stayed in touch with loan department employees in this regards everytime (Seeraj Srivastava and Abhineet Srivastava)*** during the whole duration. They always promised us "Don't worry, your loan will be sanctioned meanwhile please start ur initial work afterthat we will do one survery of the plot work, then we will release you first loan cheque.

        Now today they are telling us that your loan application is rejected because "now policy is changed of housing loan, we are not giving loan for construction" ;now my intial plot work has been finished, just waiting for only cheque.

        We belongs to middle class family, the amount that we have saved from our salary is already spend on this initial work and we are now blank in terms of money.

        My elder brother spoke with above mentioned guy's senior, who sits in Lucknow Branch(name: Rajkumar) for this issue/false commitment, you guys will be shocked if you read his wordings, he said " The area, where your plot is, not covered by IDBI Bank and I am not the person who gave you the commitment, so I can't do anything" see these are the wordings of one of the reputed IDBI BANK employee, who doesn't work for the bank, only work for his own(such type of persons are not suitable on such post, if they can't resolve customer problems).

        So If you are planning to apply home loan, then please don't go "IDBI BANK".

          I have applied for home loan on HL 3188 NRI on, 27 Jul 10 through IDBI bank Koperkhairane Navi Mumbai. I had submitted original Agreement docket and Blue prints of building for reference. My home loan was sanctioned on 31 Aug 10. After the agreement bank was approached for payment, at this stage Bank was demanding some additional papers from the builder which Builder refused to pay stating It was never asked by any bank so for.
          Mr Dhaval Trivedi, Mr Rajesh Parmer and Mr Gajanan Rathi and Mr Varun Singhal were part of process I could see in mails send to me. At the time of disimbursement of payment bank demanded additional document from builder which he refused to deliver. Builder say no bank has asked all these papers so for from him.
          I was charged all the fees (2500+8530+ 4900 Franking Charges) My documents were franked, I keep making these payments.
          I personally communicated DGM Mr D Chakraborty for his kind attention but no use.
          I wish to know If bank feel documents are not complete, they have all rights to reject the application. Matter is over for me. At least my money and time could be saved. My payment is overdue Builder may impose penalty over me for delay of payment.
          I am badly disturbed with the behaviour of the bank official who nither making my home loan payment or they returning my documents and money which hey have chaged without any serrvice to me.

            TODAY AT 8.00PM - WHILE USING MY IDBI BANK DEBIT CARD IN IOB BANK ATM CENTER INSIDE MAYAJAL AT INJAMBAKKAM - CHENNAI,

            AFTER ENTERING THE AMOUNT OF RS. 10000/- TEN THOUSAND, ATM STARTED SHUTTING DOWN AND THE SCREEN BLANKED. AFTER FEW MINUTES, SYSTEM RETRIEVED BUT MY DEBIT CARD GOT BLOCKED INSIDE THE ATM AND THE AMOUNT ALSO NOT RECD.
            AFTER FEW MINUTES, I GOT A MESSAGE FROM TM-IDBI BANK - THANKS FOR WITHDRAWING RS. 10000/- .

            KINDLY RETRIEVE MY DEBIT CARD AND ALSO TO BLOCK MY ACCOUNT AS OTHERS SHOULD NOT USE MY CARD.

            NOTE;-
            From 8.00pm I am trying customer care ([protected]) - till 10.30pm customer line is busy.

            1) Customer complaint line should be always easy accessible.

            Suppose the card is lost (picpocket) on the way - and the customer care line is busy for more than 2 hr. meantime the picpocketer would have used the card for shopping.

            HENCE REQUEST IDBI BANK TO HAVE SEPERATE PHONE LINE FOR CARD LOST COMPLAINT AND BLOCK THE CARD USAGE.

            I am Anant Umrikar holding an aacount in IDBI nanded branch.I had blocked my debit card 1 week back and at that time i was told by bank employee of receiving new debit card in 7 working days but i have not
            recived it as yet.So, i request to issue my new debit card ASAP.

              I have applied online for the credit card of idbi neither any executive of the bank tried to contact. When i visit the branch they didnt give any kind of response.ihave got a referance no.8535117 let me know what action has been taken.

                    I have been IDBI customer since July 18th 2002 when I joined job at Chennai. I used this account as my salary account till April 2006 and after that maintained good amount in this account.

                    I was out of India for 4 years and came back to Kanpur in Sep 2010. I have used all my cheques by then and my ATM card expired. To receive them I tried to update my Kanpur address at IDBI bank's Phoolbagh branch. First day, I was asked to attach identity proof which has my Kanpur address ( I don't understand the reason behind this, as long as customer can identify himself, he should be allowed to update whatever address he wants. ) Anyways, a rule is a rule. I provided them all the required details next day. It is around 25 days since then and I have called the bank approximately 10 times and all the time I get the response that "Chennai branch has not provided the approval , we will get in touch with them and get the approval before EOB".

                    I have a substantial amount in this account and because I don't have cheques and ATM, my money is locked. All my tries to make them understand has failed.

                    I have decided to get out of this bank as soon as I am able to do so.

                      My Self Deepak Singh Tanwar.

                      I have made a request to open an account in IDBI bank on 25th Sep 2010 with a ref cheque 101000 rs amount.


                      After passing 25days they have no response and not able to send to me details of my account. My money is totally block in this period. This time is too hectic k when i required my money and i am not able to use my money.

                      This is not a responsible bank. Every time they are making excuse.

                      Please help to resolve this issue.

                      They are saying if open a account with 100000rs you are a prefer customer of our bank. They have block my money and not to give me details.

                        Last one month back i have applied for Savings Account opening with IDBI Bank, i have sopked many times to the call centre executive for not getting my account active, so negligance and immanered by ther employees i remember one name Mr. Deepak. No proper guidance and since from one month they are saying my complent will be solved in 2 days, but still not it is done.
                        Is this a service to the customer of such a bank, this show the face of the bank, i am scared initeally i am getting so much of problem in opening an account, waht about later, its night mare.

                          My Brother Mr. Shyam Sundar Seshadri and myself Satish Seshadri had
                          approached IDBI Homefinance and applied for a home loan during
                          August 2nd Week wide the Case No: MUMDAD00006154.

                          Case in brief:

                          We had received the offer letter ref no: IHFL/ MUMDAD6154/1 dated
                          27/08/2010 on 7th September 2010.

                          Meanwhile we had arranged for the Registration on 25th August, 2010 and
                          submitted all the documents required on the very same day i.e 07
                          September, 2010.

                          The seller of our Property had taken a Loan from ICICI which was closed
                          recently before submitting the papers to your office.

                          During the closure of the above mentioned loan, they missed out the
                          supplementary document (Registration Receipt) of the earlier agreement. As
                          they had misplaced the document, our seller Mr. Rajan sent a notice for
                          the same to the company through his property lawyer on the same. The
                          company denies of holding the said recipt.

                          Hence to save time fighting the matter out in court with ICICI, he
                          arranged for an Affidavit and submitted the true copy of the receipt which
                          has been legally honored at the court. Supporting to this he also arranged
                          for the declaration that the receipt was misplaced by him, lodged an FIR,
                          made an Advertisement (as advised by IDBI Dadar branch post over 2 months
                          of the loan application due to their delay).

                          The documents were processed only during the end of September by the
                          Officer at Dadar Branch, as she was on leave / other reasons (of festive
                          season etc.). And after over 2 months they say that the loan cannot be
                          processed as a supplementary / supporting receipt is missing. (Main Legal
                          document i.e agreement copy is still available in original with IDBI).

                          The Legal Search, Technical Search etc are all clear in regards to the
                          case, as informed by the Dadar Branch.

                          Since only a supporting supplementary receipt is missing for which the
                          formality of FIR, an Indemnity bond etc have been completed, the documents
                          shall be given an approval.

                          Logic to the case:
                          The registration receipt of the agreement between the ex Seller to the current Seller is missing.

                          1) If the receipt was missing before the Loan was disbursed from ICICI, then ICICI would not have disbursed the loan, which is not the case as the loan was closed just over a month. Even the documents of Legal notice etc support the same.

                          2) If ICICI has disbursed the loan, it implicates that the receipt is just supplementary document and the main legal document which is the Agreement copy is still in place.

                          In any case the process should have been expedited or IDBI shall bear all expenses with respect to the losses to be borne by me owing to the cancellation of the deal.

                          3) Since IDBI is into a professional business catering to the public, there should not be delay in the processing of the document due to the absence of a concerned officer for a long time (3 weeks in this case).

                          Request for sanction of the above case within a day.

                          IDBI Home Finance — Disbursment of loan

                          Hello,

                          I have taken loan from IDBI home finance worli branch.my property is under construction and builder asked for disbursal of some amount. as per discussion with Bank, bank is not ready to release the amont as bank valuer says percentage of work done is less and hence cannt release the amount.

                          complaint :
                          I asked them to provide documentory proof that they cannt release the amount and now builder is on the verge of charging interest on my pending amount.
                          please check with bank why they cann't provide me documentory proof .

                            SUBJECT: COMPLAINT AGAINST IDBI BANK CIVIL LINES BRANCH NAGPUR. OUR HOUSING LOAN A/C NO.[protected]

                            Dear Sir
                            With reference to the above we would like to inform you that we are the customer of the above bank and we have availed housing loan from the above branch in the year 2006.The details of the case is as under for your ready reference and doing the needful and to provide us the justice.

                            That Mr. Pramod Mishra Partner of M/s PRABHU BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS has approached us to sell his flat scheme, accordingly we inspected the site and we have shown our desire to own an apartment, 302 on the 3rd floor. And super structure comprising Apartment No. G-02 on the ground floor. in the said scheme called PRABHU VISHNU APARTMENT MANKAPUR NAGPUR.
                            Now builder also assured us that he shall arrange loan for us from IDBI BANK within ten to 15 days as his scheme is technically as well as legally( master file) approved by the said bank., subject to our positive field investigation/income document verification &legal and technical clearance of the said property.
                            Since we want to avail loan we accepted the proposal and he took us to the IDBI BANK civil lines branch with all our income, address, personal identification proofs. After due verification of our document bank in principal has agreed to grant us a loan of Rs. 850000/- vide their letter of sanction dated February 25, 2006. And accordingly they asked us to pay a sum of Rs. 3857/-
                            When we enquired what for these charges, they confirmed that it is processing fees which includes Legal Charges (Title verification/Non encumbrance certificate) and other charges. We paid the said charges demanded by the bank.
                            Accordingly as advised by the bank we entered into Registered Agreement to Sell with the builder for flat on 3rd floor and apartment on ground floor & by paying requisite stamp duty charges on 04.03.2006and 09/03/2006. And registered the documents as the flat scheme was under construction. All the originals were submitted in the bank .later Bank verified all the documents and confirmed us the said TITLE (Title verification/Non encumbrance certificate )of the property is clear hence they are disbursing the loan amount and on 13/03/2006 they directly paid the entire amount of Rs. 850000/- to the builder. Without our knowledge . Normally the payment is released stage wise after inspection and completion of the respective stages duly confirmed by the banks empanelled architect.
                            .After that we were paying our EMI of Rs. 7880/- regularly which you can confirm from the bank.
                            In March 2008 builder assured us to hand over the said flat and then we approached and informed the bank and asked how they have released the entire payment to the builder without completion of the building , Normally payment is released stage wise after due inspection & confirmation by the banks empanelled architect. We were surprised but again bank & the builder assured us that due to some unavoidable circumstances the completion of the scheme was delayed.
                            When we came to know from reliable sources that builder has sold some of his flats of his other schemes like PRABHU SUDAMA & PRABHU BRAHMA financed by IDBI BANK CIVIL LINES BRANCH NAGPUR. Here also the Master file was approved with the bank of these Schemes.
                            One fine day we read in the Local news paper that State bank of India Nagpur has published in the news paper that the flat which was FINANCED & mortgaged with IDBI has also been mortgaged with State bank of India. Of the same builder from PRABHU SUDAMA SCHEME .which was already mortgaged with IDBI bank.
                            This incident opened our eyes and we felt something fishy as we recollected the the transactions from the day one like 100% payment to builder when the building still under construction without taking customer into confidence and processing the loan application very fast. All most all the cases of this particular builder which were financed by IDBI BANK are FRAUD AND BUILDER & THE BANK STAFF HAVE THE NEXUS AND TOGETHER
                            ( IDBI BANK & THE BUILDER) HAVE CHEATED THE INNOCENT CUSTOMERS PUTTING THEM IN GREAT HARD SHIP
                            We immediately approached the bank and Bank confirmed the fraud by the builder and we were also one of the victims. But bank assured us and requested us not to file Police complaint as it will complicate the matter and bank employees will be in trouble, and assured us to resolve the matter with Mr. Pramod Mishra partner of M/s PRABU BUILDERS & DEVELOPERS. And clear the title and settle the issue of the said property in question, against which they have given us the loan. Instead of resolving the issue, to our surprise we have received a legal notice from advocate Mr. Abhishek Mudliar on 23/09/2010 as if we have willfully defaulted in making regular EMI. Inspite of knowing all the facts the said property is SOLD which is already mortgaged and financed by IDBI BANK to some other customer taking (IDBI BANK) into confidence. Keeping us in dark and the fact was hidden deliberately as long as we were paying our regular EMI. When we came to know about the fact, which was confirmed. Then we stopped the payment and informed the bank the reason. Now it seems the bank not only cheated us but misguided us. . Now it is a proven fact that The bank is in nexus with builder and have conspired and cheated not only us but other clients. Of the same builder. Who have availed loan from IDBI BANK
                            Now therefore we want refund of our money (paid EMI’S) along with interest and compensation of minimum of Rs. TWENTY LACKS within Seven Days from the Date of This Letter. Or Else We Have No Option But To File A Criminal Complaint With The Police/CBI Against IDBI BANK And The Builder For Cheating , Forgery, Mental Torture, And Threatening And Misleading Us Also We Shall Involve Media And The Press To Expose The Bank And The Builders Misdeeds. Please Take Note Of It. AND resolve the issue without any further delay

                            In the similar fashion I was also victimised by the nexusus between Builder & SBI PB Branch Allahabad where the bank manager and other staff of the Bank gave a cheque of Rs 10.5 lakh against a registered deed of valuation of Rs5.0 lakhs.The loan was sanction within a day as they told me that their advocate has confirmed that the flat I was to purchase is approved by Allahabad Development Authority and they have been granting loan for other flats of the same building in the past.I believed and had lot of faith in the biggest Indian Bank.I was granted loan in 2004 and the cheque of Rs10.5lakh was handedover to the builder same day.I continued to pay EMI of RS11280.0 from the next month.In 2008 I came to know that building in which my flat was there have not been approved by ADA moreover the building has to be demolished as per letter issued by ADA.To my utter surprise the demolition notice was before the loan was sanctioned to me.I wrote letters to CVC, Chairman SBI and other concerned agencies to look into the matter and return my EMI with interest but there is no response from them.I heard that Bank vigilence dept. has done departmental enquiry and saved their employees by imposing minor punishment to them .There is a case pending in Allahabad Highcourt and the Builder is very happy and so are the Bank emloyees and we the victim of their nexusus have yet to get justice.The Building in question is named as LILAKUNJ situated near Vijaya Bank Allahabad.

                              Dear Sir/Mam,

                              I undersigned holds Saving Bank Account (CROWN Salary Account) with you esteemed bank wide no. [protected] favoring Dipak Mahendrabhai Doshi.

                              I am receiving my accounts statement very late i.e. for the period 01/08/2010 to 31/08/2010 received on 20/10/2010. For this matter earlier i have verbally complaints so many times at your Lal Bunglow Branch to the front office desk officer but there is not a single step taken by your end to reach statement in time.

                              On dated 21/09/2010 I visited branch and demand to show me POD of this month as well last three months of deliver statement but the front desk office failed to do so. Then I have given written application for the same to office and she promised me to call you and give you the fact and show you POD as per your demand but sorry to say that till date I have not received a single call from your side.

                              There is clear cut instruction on your statement that "Contents of this statement will be considered correct if no discrepancies are reported in writing within 14 days of receipt of this statement". May I bring to your attention that if customer receiving their statement after 20 days then is this valid clause written on your Bank Statement?


                              Pls. clearify the meaning of this statement else change the days if you are failed to deliver the statement within 10 days to the customers.

                              Again I repeat that I want POD of last 3 months of my aforesaid bank account.

                              Pls. treat this matter very seriouly else you force me to do file this in consumer court with more IDBI customers.

                                I am waiting for internet banking and password from last 21 days. I had given the form & documents to open the account on 6/09/2010. However still waiting for my internet banking ID and password. I have been told that preferred banking would be offered to me. However it seems preshan banking.
                                I was given 50,000.00 cheque on 6/9/2010. IDBI BANK NFC branch not taken any kind of response regarding, any facilities. i was request on call by 23 times last 21 days with saving A/C opening agent, 20 times bank telephone, 2 times customer care no [protected] & 6time by E-mail , no one taken appropriate response. IDBI BANK wastage my money and lots of time. I think IDBI BANK PROVIDES world, s poorest banking service.
                                I like to suggest all U of avoid IDBI BAKING SERVICES, any circumstances.

                                  Myself Narayan S Tejwani have take home loan from IDBI Bank which is amounting INR 1,70,000.My loan A/C number is WESAHM00001228.My loan was sanctioned on 21Oct2004.Now the matter is that I am paying my installments very regularly since 2004 but still I am not getting the loan statements from the bank.I have been to Ahmedabad Branch several times but still on requesting the same the staff avoids to answer or says that you will not the statements.I just want to know that to get the statements is my right as I am paying the EMI'S to bank so why they are not providing me the statements.These statements will help me to file IT returns and will be helpful to me in many ways as I will know the change in rate of interest and the amount I am paying to them.They have failed to give statements from 2004 which is more than 10 years..So kindly help me for the above case as I really need your help.Kindly do the needful.

                                    I have taken loan from IDBI HOME FINANCE LTD,PUNE LOAN NO.WESPUN00006104. As per loan agreement, i have to repay the balance loan on retirement. I retired on 30.06.2010. I approched to the IDBI Home finance ltd;Apte road Pune on 02.07.2010 requesting to take my balance loan repayment cheque. authority told me that we will take only 70% of balance amount and not entire loan. On my agreement of loan agreement , they suggested to 2% processing charges on entire balance loan amount. There was no such clause to pay processing charges on repayment on retirement. I requested to concern authority to waive off processing charges since i am repaying as per agreement clause. But authority did not agreed. they suggested to pay 70% repayment as per normal clause, and then balance amount after 3 months. I think the IDBI home finance authority is applying normal clause of repayment of loan to me and charging interest charges on prolonged EMI repayment and processing charges on balance amount of repayment.
                                    since i am ready to repay the balance loan on retirement as per agreement commitment, IDBI authority is breaching the contract condition with intention to recover interest and processing charges from me.
                                    As per my opinion the finance bank people has very impressive during laon approval. They might be hide some legal information which cause sevior to us in future. In my case officials told me you have Adjustable Rate Home Loan at the time of processing, Afterwards they are convert in to ARFL by some charges.
                                    First of all we should read entire loan agreement even the letters are too small

                                      The bank collected all the required documents and informed that my savings account will be opened within 3 business days and after more than 2 months they have not yet opened any account or they provide me any updates regarding the account.

                                      they have collected rupees 1110 from me and rupees 700 for a demat account, but as promised they have not even opened a savings account for me ,
