Good day,
I availed of IDBI Home Loan with floating rate of interest. EMI was fixed at Rs.1,17,000/- for 180 months. Later in due course, because of increase of BPLR rates by RBI, IDBI also increased the home loan rates and eventually my EMI has reached 1,35,000/-, which I find really difficult to pay, with the resources I have.
On querying with IDBI Bank, if they can maintain same EMI, but increase the tenure, I was advised by the Operations Manager that such a scheme is not existing and that if I want to reduce my EMI, I can pre-pay some principal amount.
But I believe, RBI had understood the woes of the Home Loan customers and directed the banks to increase the tenure, but IDBI Bank Manager mentioned to me that such a directive has not reached the banks yet.
I would like to know from the Consumer Forum, if any progress has been made regarding the directive from RBI and if so, how long will it take for customers like us to actually avail of such an opportunity.

    on dated 08september 2011 i went to IDBI ATM IN bihari chowk satna for cash withdrawal but cash not out not received because ATM shown unable to procss TXN.NO. 3539, then i went to AXIS Bank ATM and withdraw Rs. 500 Then after my Balance remaining Rs 9365 when i came back and check balance it was shown Rs.9365/ Regd. this matter i ahd farward complain to IDBI customer care but neither my cash return in my account not tell properly
    so please tell if i withdraw Rs. 500/ Then how can deducted Rs. 500 Extra so please check it and do needful

      I opened an account in IDBI Bank on July 2011, I was told that withing 7 days i will receive my cheque book, passbook, and debit card through Courier, but only cheque book was issued after 15 days, but till now debit card has not yet been issued. When ever i try to call customer care, they say that our systems are down, we cannot provide any details. Is their system down 24/7?

      They have a good consumer grievance redressal forum on their website. Why don't you try it?

            I lodged A complain in customer care. People guide me to collect the Debit card from branch and I did the same but when I asked the person to provide me a PIN no. he told pin no Has not come yet call to customer care now 2day 2 month have been but pass no resolution has given to me however 10-15 time I spoken to CCE he told told me to speak to branch manager to Mr. Rajender chourasia.3 time I had spoken with him he is not welling to help me out…

              Hi

              My name is Suresh, i have buy 150 Sq Yrds land at pragathinagar from Sai Vejatha builders with the Home Loan of IDBI. At the time of loan scansion IDBI team verified the land and finally given me a housing loan. After 2 years, the land was occupied by some other vendor. Now there is no Sai vejatha builders to check this issue. I stopped Home loan EMI to Bank and informed to Bank. Bank sent me a Loyeer notice saying that they have a rights to occupy my land., I went to the bank and given written complaint saying to handoff this property to bank. But Bank team was not taken any action on my letter. and still they are sending Bank loan statement with Interests.

              Please help me to resolve the Issue.
              I don’t want that land, bcz a lot of Issues in that land

                I clearly remember my Password. But still it started stating Invalid Password and gave a final message you have exceeded the Try out and blocked my account.

                  my name is mrs. chaya mahdik . i applied for the home loan in idbi bank in ambernath branch but my file was rejected even though it was clear and idbi bank gave me the reason that it is first building of the builder so we can't give u the loan.so please give me the norms and conditions of idbi bank were its is written that we don't give loan to the builder who is building first building .

                    My name is Deepak Kumar. I have selected the written examination for Executive post in IDBI Bank on 2011. I went for interview at Kanpur center on 08 july 2011. Firstly the Recruitment staff of IDBI verified the documents and informed me that I am not eligible for interview because of first year and third year pass marksheet absence. I replied them I have final year pass marksheet and passed degree certificate and all years total marks are present there and I also have all years marksheet. But they did not allow me to go for interview, even I was ready to submit it within ten days and assured them whether I am submit these two years passed marksheet they will not issue offer letter if I am selected but they did not cooperate with me.
                    I already given interviews of bank using these documents but there were no issues like that .If any bank want document which i have not that time they given as undertaking and allow for interview but IDBI did not do this. I belong to ST Category o[censored].P. I request u to take proper action against IDBI Bank. I am not the single candidate who were not allow to face the interview there were some more candidates who were also not allow to face the interview. Interviews are held two days(08 july and 09 july). So I request you to take proper action to solve this issue and rearrange the interview process because it’s a big question of the SC and ST candidates career.

                      I have purchased IDBI Infrastructure Bond (2002 C) on 20/3/2002 vide their cert. No.[protected] Dist. Nos. [protected] to[protected] of Rs.20,000. The bond is with me and not redeemed. When I contacted the IDBI Bank, they said it was already redeemed and sent to my SBBJ, Bhiwadi bank account No,.11718 on 30/11/2005 for Rs.27,300 but when I asked the bank, they said it was not received by them and my bank account statement shows no such credit. The bank is not responding to my mails. Pl. iintervene in the matter and get me credited the same amount to my account.

                        Hi All,

                        I have a very bad experience with the IDBI bank home loan. I took a construction loan when the estimation for construction was 20 lakh. later on when we got the construction completed, it became 30 lakhs to complete. So when I asked the IDBI bank manager Archit agarwal, he told that i can apply for top up loan once all the amount is dispersed. But then when i went(after completing the house by borrowing money from outside), they told that I'm not eligible for top up loan as there is no increase in my salary.
                        Why didn't they check my eligibility before committing to me that I can apply for top up loan?

                        There was an other , that IDBI agent then told don't worry. you come after two months so that I can apply for mortgage loan even if I'm not eligible for top up loan.The reason being, that I'm getting rent. After two months once again i paid a cheque of Rs.2,700, now they saying that I'm in-eligible for any loan with IDBI as my salary has never got increased and they were under the assumption that it will increase every year.

                        I think nobody should apply for loan with IDBI bank going forward, this is one of the worst banks that anybody can ever see in their life....based on my experience....They play with the peoples feeling and emotions !!

                          Hi,
                          IDBI bank has sanctioned me a loan for the fake property. The total cost of the property is of 53 laks. After thorough legal verification of the property and based on my job profile documents IDBI has sanctioned me a loan of 40 laks. As the loan was sanctioned trusting IDBI bank, I have payed the builder 13 laks and registered the property on my name. I was paying the EMI regularly, but after 6 months I came to know that it is a fake property. Trusting IDBI bank, I have put all my hard earned money into that property. Now I want to claim back my damages, EMI's, processing fees, 13 laks, Insurance amount 1 lak etc... Please do the need ful.

                            IDBI DEEP DISCOUNT BOND1998-A — not receiving cheque

                            I could not deposit it in bank within valid time & i requested for revalidation.In the meantime

                              Hi,

                              I am a consumer of Home loan product offered by IDBI Bank Limited & my account is with their branch in Nagpur.

                              I have been writing & speaking with bank officials @ Nagpur branch since 4th April & haven't got a satisfactory reply from the branch at Nagpur.

                              The queries were simple -

                              1. I wanted to increase my EMI.

                              2. And in future, due to any circumstance if i would like to reduce the EMI what would be the implications?

                              I have been requesting the officials to communicate in writing. But the reply to me (ON PHONE) is - the query is raised with Mumbai office but they are not replying.

                              A phone call each week & reminders by mail is a practise since 4th April. A favor done on me by giving me the loan, is what is felt after such stupid excuses.

                              Can this complaint go to the authorities who may look into for a resolution?

                                Dear Sir ,

                                I have availed Home Loan from your Brach in the year 2006 . Since then I have been paying regular instalments without any delay .
                                On 17th Jan.2011 , I have requested for change in payment mode from Post dated Cheques to ECS .I have completed all the necessary requirements to start this facility . As you will appreciate , this is most convenient facility for both o[censored]s .

                                But unfortunately , since last 4 months , your branch could not start this facility . I have been in touch with your Branch executives every month . Every time they are giving some new reason , but they are not activating this facility .

                                For the Month of May , neither instalment has been deducted through ECS nor through blank cheques deposited with your branch . My normal instalment date is 10th of every month . But till 21st of May , nothing is progressing .

                                I have spoken to number of executives regarding this , but no one is ready to resolve this issue . I would not like to stamp my account as defaulter OR with any other adverse remarks on my account because of your branch people’s inefficiency .

                                Can you please take up this with right people and ensure that , my ECS facility is activated immediately and instalments are regularised without any further delay .

                                  I have a salary account and one employee reimbursement account with idbi on 4th may i submitted a request with them to kindly link my ERA account with my Debit Card. And at that time they told me it will be done in 4-5 working days and now after 10 working days it is still not done. I have been taking follow up with the bank everytime i complaint against them they give a time of two more days due to them i am not able to withdraw money from my account.My account Details are as follow

                                      Earlier it was communicated that increase in ROI will be adjusted with increasing the tenure with out increasing the EMI amount. However same is not done, which gives a wrong picture about the practice of your organization.


                                      However across the Home Loan industry, with increasing ROI, tenure is increased rather than increasing the EMI. As per the Age norms followed in Home loan industry, my retirement age will be more than tenure of the Home Loan availed.


                                      Increase in EMI in such a steep manner will drastically affect my monthly cash flow. Hence request you to consider my request to increase the Tenure rather than increasing the EMI, Being a Salaried Person, It would be nearly difficult to repay such a huge EMI.


                                      Kindly revise my loan tenure accordingly.
