I've recently ported from Airtel network to Idea. The very first month itself they are giving bitter experience for me. Initially I took a plan for Rs 399 p.m which was having 1 GB data 550 mins calls and some sms. Billing period is on 10th of every month. By 5th I was out of data balance. I checked their website and i changed the plan to 549 p.m plan which was having 2 GB data. After the plan got activated, i was given about 250 MB data since there was only 5 days left for billing date. When i got the bill, i was shocked to see an amount of Rs 169.120 for Charges on Data Pack Pro-ration. It is mentioned in the bill that "Proration is done to calculate exact rental & usage charges based on the number of active days o[censored]sage". But they charged me Rs. 88.550 for the period of 05-Jan[protected]Jan-2016. This seems to be frustrated. My Account No.:[protected] Invoice No.: [protected] Please do the needful.

      My idea mobile number was charged by Rs 29 for mydala deals, I haven't activated it.There is no response from idea customer care service.
      I got a random activation message saying some MYDALA and took 29 rupees. And the customer service was no help, they said it was my fault and they couldn't help me.

        I have given application to migrate from Postpaid to Prepaid, after clearing my due bill for the previous month. Physically, I had submitted all my documents with photographs along with original documents to verify for migration at Idea store. They had Inactive my Postpaid Sim before more than 24 hours, but the Prepaid Sim which they had provided is still Inactive and it is more than 24 hours, my working contact number is out of work because of this inferior service. HIDDEN CONDITIONS VERY SLOW RESPONSE POOR SERVICE

I want to reduce Idea to Idea call rate so I call 198 and I ask him how many Rs. recharge for one day calling I2I call rate reduse then he said me dail *369*5# you get I2I calling rate 10paise per minute for one day and then I recharge it. Then I call another idea mob. No. But call rate is not redused. Then call a customer care and tell him you provide me a wrong information so you give me a my balance return.he said me I not give to you your balance return . Please sir take action who me a provide Wong information and punished them.and give me a my balance return.

            My idea prepaid number [protected] I recharged my number with a full talk time offer of ₹200 on Friday.. And I have not activated any vas services yet..nd suddenly my balance got deducted totally without any reason... Called customer service... Nd confirmed dat my number does not contain any vas...service... Pls let me know the reason for balance deduction...iam really very much fed up with ur service...because of this..

                10 digit mob No[protected]. Complaint no -C1-[protected]. On 19th Dec 2015 around 6:00 PM, a call came from idea and asked that why i was not using internet from my postpaid. "No attractive offers" was my answer and then caller offered me an internet plan from which I can use 1 GB 3G data in Rs.150 for 3 bill cycles and first bill will be as per pro rata base. (As per that executive this was my special offer in which data pack was offered in Rs.150 instead of Rs.250.) When I received my detailed bill on 2nd Jan 2016, I was charged for whole month rent, not on pro rata base and was not also as per offer was given on 19th Dec 2015. 1) I am charged Rs.250 instead of Rs.150 as per special offer was given on 19th Dec 2015 2) Instead of pro rata base I am charged with whole month rent. I registered a complaint on this on 2nd Jan 2016 and reply is given today (9th Jan 2016) that information was given to you on 19th Dec 2015 was wrong and no any such kind of offers. Then I want to know why that executive had activated my data pack on 19th Dec 2015 by giving wrong info and by saying fake offer? Why customer should bear these types of mistakes done by customer care services? I want solution for this query as 15th Jan is last date for bill payment and idea charges Rs.50 as late payment after 16th if bill is not paid. I will not pay this type of over billed amount which is a fraud to customer. I am request for solution regards, Alpesh Mewada

No one knows, even at IDEA customer care, people dont know. Secondly, They say something we download from browser. In Apple phone which we are using, nothing can be downloaded just like that. Thirdly, in three minutes difference how can we download anything. two times and that too the same content. Fourthly, they can anytime levy a charge saying WAP downlaod and then can get away with the same. This is absolutely wrong billing added to my bill

                                Mobile number [protected], last three months we are suffering from delay in activating mobile service. customer care information were incorrect and workers seems to be with out proper knowledge about the working.We cant pay the bill through online due to our unknown ID and password, we enquired regarding our ID and password still we dint get a proper and correct solution. so no other way to pay the bills except through idea outlets and idea outlets(mount road) never provide bills for our payment and said us that only an automated message will be recived. every month connection will be prolonged up to 6hrs after our bills paid. we are seriously annoyed by idea's poor services. we need a proper facility for our money we pay, other wise we will end up the connection.

                                  I am completely disappointed with the services provided by the organisation lead by you. I have tried multiple times to understand what is happening and asked for solutions and have been disappointed multiple times. I have attached a string of emails for your reference. I received an outstanding bill email from 3 months ago randomly. You will be able to see the rant in the following mails.In that mail, there was an id given on which i could send in my complaint, but as you can see the mail failed to go through and thus i have to resort to this. I'm really hoping you can take the time our of your extremely busy schedule and look at a genuine grievance, as the last two times i called i was spoken rudely to and yelled at by your executives. Hoping to see a response from your end for a change.

                                  Prior to the following mail, i have not received any mail or intimation about any outstanding amount. My number was initially a postpaid maharashtra number and i have converted it to a prepaid gujarat number. When i asked during the porting process, i was told there are no outstanding amount. Post which, i never received any sort of intimation about any outstanding amount. After three months i receive a mail for an outstanding amount of 1800, im unaware how that happened, but how can you send a notice with two days time when i was never informed of it previously. When i called the number mentioned in the mail, by the name of gaurav, some lady picked up, who was firstly very rude, kept back answering like she was doing me a favour by talking, told me that they tried to contact me but there was no sign of any delivery of that msg. You guys need to get your together, if a customer doesn't receive an email/communication, dont you think you must check that before sending such humiliating mails with a 2 day notice period. She then gave me a number, which i said ive tried but she insisted i call, without listening to what i had to say by saying, 'im trying to give you an easy solution but you want to prolong this' in the rudest way possible. I tried that number, but it didnt even go thru. Called back on the same number provided in the mail, informed them about what happened, and they just cut the phone. Then i called your helping and spoke to a supervisor about a pending ticket i had raised which wasn't solved. That was about getting a recharged of rs. 248 in the month of december and november. She informed me that there was no such pack, but i was still charged, and while she was helping me with that, the phone got disconnected because of the horrible network that you provide. Mind you that issue is still not solved. Every customer care executive gave me a different reason for why i was unfairly charged. One said it was unfair cuz no such plans exist, another said there is a plan, one said it used to be there but its hut, and another just blamed the third party vendor which is not possible because i received a confirmation from idea of the data recharge being successful and my regular balance was being cut for the data usage. I called back and was connected to an even ruder customer care executive who was yelling at me rather than listening and initially refused to connect me to a supervisor because he didnt think it was necessary. After a lot of yelling, he agreed. I have been an idea user for years now, and the customer care has been below average but this is just the limit. This was the most awful experience and there is still no solution. Just a mail saying please pay up. What about all the damn grievance you have caused?!? How is that going to be solved!!! Apart from your awful connectivity, there is no clarity in what your customer care executive says and its always different. Which one am i to trust? I still have no answer to the unfair charging and they're easiest answer is that you were unavailable. Why is my number unavailable you might wonder, because the network connectivity sucks. I dont know who gets the calls but i certainly havent received any and complaints are automatically closed. To help you out, i will provide an alternate number incase mine doesnt go through because of network issues. Please call me on [protected] when you have a solution to these issues. Until i dont hear back from you about this bill, i refuse to pay the amount, because this is unfair. I hope you take some action otherwise your unresponsiveness will only help me prove my case in the consumer court. Thank you for the so called amazing service you provide

My internet postpaid connection ( of 1 GB @ Rs.250 per month) was disconnected due to some problems in the bills issued. I did, however, paid all the bills and finally got my account closed on 6th January, 2015, the proof of which I have attached ( an invoice from the channel partners at Haldwani stating that the account is closed permanently and the balance due is nil). Even after this, I started receiving bills for the succeeding months via emails. In June, I received a call from Mr. Baldev Singh from Bellary, Karnataka ( [protected]), an employee of Idea Cellular, who told me that I had to pay an additional amount for the month of April-May, 2015. I have attached the invoice received. In November 2015, I received a legal notice via an email from Mr. Raman Chawla, an attorney in High Court, Allahabad threatening me of dire consequences if I didn't pay Rs. 840.49 + 2 % interest for every month I hadn't paid the bill, according to him. I wrote to him, providing him with documents supporting my claim.Today i.e. on 9th January '16, I received a call from an employee of Idea Cellular who threatened that he had filed a case against me. It has been a year since I got my connection closed but their harassment hasn't stopped. This is after I had got my account closed, paid all my bills and returned the sim. I fail to understand how an invoice can be issued to me even after all this. Hope that you would resolve the issue as soon as possible and I may finally get some peace of mind.
