This happened on 12th Jan 2016, [protected]. My net pack was expected to expire at 12 AM, 13th Jan, for which I turned on my data on 11.30 PM to use internet. It would have been merely 30-35 minutes when I closed my Internet to be surprised with a deduction of Rs. 465!! Later next morning I called the customer care number and asked him about details, following which he asked me to contact after 4 hours. Then on the morning of 14th Jan., I called up again, he heard my issue but seemed reluctant to sort it. He also said that it would cost me around 250 for using 1GB of data. Now, even if I have forgotten to close the Internet, How would the phone automatically use a enormous 1GB of data, especially when all the downloads are configured to happen only when connected to a WiFi. He agreed that 1 GB of data has not been used but didn't help upon the matter any further. When I asked him to refund, he simply said "That's not possible". When I asked him to file a complaint, he ignored - he avoided - he refused. I have all the call recordings, and my data usage. Please Respond [protected]@gmail.com

      Dear sir, i am using idea postpaid number [protected] since 2011 in madhya pradesh and at present i am in gurgaon (Haryana) and here i take another new idea postpaid number [protected] since 3 month with continuing my mp number [protected]. but in current i am not satisfied due to company mistake i. e. "when i am using idea internet in previous month then a return message has continuously returned on my mobile, till 19 dec 2015 i received message from idea that u have 365 MB internet data for use & u can use this data till 9 jan 2016". but after using approx 200 MB data my outgoing services was temporarily barred, i called with customer care on 21 dec 2015 for the solution of my problem that how my outgoing is stooped ? Then mr. Manish said that ur outgoing is stopped due to exessive use of data ur limit, whereas i was using internet data on receiving message from idea that "u have 365 MB data for use till 09 jan 2016", then why i would pay the amount of excessive use data, i have paid my monthly rental Rs. 460/- and after that i received msg again for paying the amount of excessive internet data Rs.657/-. There are five another idea postpaid numbers are used in my family since long time. 1. [protected] 2. [protected] 3. [protected] 4. [protected] 5. [protected] Sir my whole family use idea numbers from starting so please co-operate us as customer, because i am not interesting to pay the remaining amount because these was not my mistake.pls

        Yesterday there is msg for free 1 GB internet on dialing one code... I have dialed n freeplan has been activated after wards they have dedicated balance for that free balance without informing... Now executive is not talking n saying its all right deduction.. So if it is right how the plan is activated if the main balance is not sufficient for that plan... N no msg for that deduction...

U just tell me if there is insufficient balance for the plan does the plan activate... N ur executive is just saying only one thing and disconnected the call... I want my 85 rs balance refunded

          I'm so tired of this constant call drop issue. I'm even unable to log a new complaint as the call drops again again. Today I have already called idea customer care for more than 6-7 times, but everytime the call drops within few mins without being able to log the complaint. They don't call back too. I want to log a formal complaint against this degraded service .

            Idea cellular is overcharging for the services, I have received the message of bill of rupees 6287.96, due on my mobile number [protected] today(13th Jan 2016) at 10.30 am. The message indicating that the bill/Usage is for last 9 days, as the last month bill is already due of Rs 572 I have never crossed my internet usage limit of 2 GB, while using Idea internet. The company never send me the intimation that I am exceeding my 2GB limit. The disappointing part is when I called the call center to check the billing issues this morning (13th Jan 2016), the representative said that he can not give me details of the usage and I have to pay the bill to continue the services. On top of that today (13th Jan 2016) at 3.53 pm Idea send me SMS to inform me that I have exceeded the limit of 2GB. This is something really poor and disappointing service from Idea. The SMS they are sending rt now are really disturbing and is not professional at all. Being a customer from more than 7 years, I always paid the bill on time, but I was not expecting something like this from Idea ; I am completely disappointed with what has happened in this case and under a lot of stress. I would stop using this card if Idea does not revert my 2GB data and removes the extra charges applied in next 24 hours.And I will make sure that none of my colleges, CUG members and relatives use Idea services is future.

            Yes, Airtel family plan is good and flexible plan for individual use, even they are providing attractive offers for CUG users...
            Almost all members of my team scared & planning to change the service provider, after my billing case.
            Idea stopped my outgoing SMS and landline calls also, so I think they are not interested to resolve my issue; very unprofessional behavior

            This is really pathetic, Idea Customer Care is calling the customers just to waste the time of the customer.
            Playing the same old record from last six days.
            They are not able to answer a simple query, why they have not intimated me when the limit of allowed data was crossing.
            The only answer I have received from them is that it is a system generated message and they can not check the auto generated message from their system.
            How can they expect someone will pay for their system issues ?and why are they calling the customers if they are not interested to provide the solution ?
            No update on E1-[protected] ticket.

            My concern is not addressed, how can you say that; calling Idea customer care is waste of time as they do not have any details with them.
            You are sending me messages of the bill everyday and in today's call your representative did not have any details of the bill you are charging.
            Also no answer received on my query of why the intimation was not send when my limit was crossing.
            I am not able to use internet on my phone and afraid to use it further thinking that Idea will increase the bill more; this is something affecting my daily tasks.
            Not expected something like that from Idea, there are many service providers in market which can give cheaper data packs than Idea, can somebody explain me why should I continue with Idea ?

            Please let me know if you are not considering to revert back the bill and my data plan, I want firm answer on my queries.
            Hi... Almost same problem is with me... My mobile no. is [protected]. I am Idea old customer. For Dec 15 Idea has billed me for Rs.5400/- against my regular bill of Rs.1170/- apx. by saying over usage of data. After several mails they are just saying they had calculated correctly...No customer care... Make the schemes that customer cant understand...fool them and charged extra...We cant expect such things from Idea...Now planning to switch from Idea...Choosing good option...I think Airtel Family Plan is good one...suggest

Rathod [protected] after I talk with him He told about idea cellular outstanding balance, and I argue him How can he pressuring my wife and other about my bill.                         You guys from Idea will always say regret the unpleasant experience. But you people will never provide the solution for any issue. In my case only I am waiting from past 5 months and no proper justification is provided till now. This is our system in India...!
                        Mr Balpande, I sympathise with you. I know a very similar case with Father of my friend who is a senior citizen.
                        These crooks have been makng harssing calls to their family members widout providing any details whatsoever.
                        I think this amounts to breaching the right of privacy and general well being of the citizens without any fault of theirs in person.
                        I sincerely hope the Honorable Supreme Court of India issues stringent guidelines against such malpractices carried out by these rogues for paltry amounts, without making any genuine effort to settle matters with the respective customers.
                        It is high time we all customers united against such unethical malpractices and threaten to boycott these goons, then only could some little wisdom possibly come to them.
                        It is very clear that the big catchwords like Customer Satisfaction / Customer Delight they use are just baits and they don't even in their wildest dreams mean it.
                        Anyway hope the matter is resolved soon in your case as well as my friend's dads.

                            I applied for pre paid connection with all documents asked by idea cellular outlet guy. he promised me that my connection will activated in just 2 days. Now it about 6 days still not activated. I talked to customer care, they also promise me that my sim will be activated soon ... I called again still same reply ... after 5th day, I called once again to customer care and now they replied that my application was rejected and I asked why, they said, go and check with Idea outlet . Idea cellular dont want to serve customer, they just want to trouble.

I have data plan which shows it have 28 MB data in my account and I used DATA for GPS SERVICE for 2 minute approximately and idea deducted my whole balance and data within 2 minutes. and said you used more than 28 MB data you have that's why they deducted my amount even my mobile showing I just used 1 MB data.

                                WHY U NOT active my sim ? last three days my number is inactive .. last three dayes to call a customer care but not any single right ans, please provide a right information and time and care he charge me 100 Rs, for sim change, idea company very bogas company ... i allredy give all my document to idea store last 5 days.. but any singal process stare, my idea number is unactive, , ,

                                  I was in Pune, I have data plan and it have around 30 MB data remaining and 90 rupee balance in my account. I just support my other cellfone by hotspot and searched GPS location and around 500 kb data used and I got my mobile balance is zero and all data used with in 2 minutes. Now the idea customer support says u used the data so your balance cuts

                                    Firstly I Dialed 53111 from your Idea Sim i.e [protected] and then i Selected my language and Gave correct answer of questions. (answer in Happy Hours...) Rs 2 will be deducted per question as per Idea rule. After that i earned points and dis connected the call. Now assured Prize of Rs.100 Paytm Coupon has not been sent to my mobile number.

                                      Value added services like comedy munch is activated in my idea cellular kerala pre paid number [protected] without my knowledge. When I enquired the customer services wing they told me it's activated via Web. How can a reputed telecom company activate a service without the knowledge of subscriber.? I dont want to receive your value added services now onwards...
