I have not subscribed idea music station facility.They themself started the facilty and debited Rs. 60/- for the of month October 08- November 08.
I made call to customer care, they registered my complain no 74296825 on 7/11/2008, and informed me that debit is right.
I again made a call to customer care, they registered request id 74440517 on 8/11/2008, and informed me that debit was worng and would credit Rs. 60/- to my account within 48 hour from 8/11/2008.
They did not do same.
I again made two camplain to the customer care of id 75464729 on 15/11/2008, and id 75808372 on 18/11/2008.
Again they informed that debit is right and would not credit Rs. 60/-

i am writing you after a lot of frustration and hopelessness with Idea executives and their behavior. I am a very old and loyal idea customer and have this number for more than 5 years. Number: [protected]. I use prepaid scratch cards and have been using it successfully for the past many years. Lately the scratch cads have a pull up foil instead of old scratch coupons. When you pull them, the number gets torn and it has happened to me twice. And yesterday, when I bought another card, it says invalid pin. So I went to the dealers and they said go to idea showroom. I also called customer care 20 times and got different answers from the executives. I also spoke to a supervisor in delhi "arpit omar" and he had no knowledge about this. Morevoer the two men in Punjabi Bagh idea showroom were so rude and unhelpful. They told me to go to the head office. I have been going from pillar to post to get this done and they are so unreasonable and the process sucks. How can they expect me to spend 500 rupees and go to head ofice for a small recharge of Rs 100. The organization is very unprofessional and people like theseI dealt with are badnaming Idea. I am planning to change my service provider to Hutch or Airtel now as they have better feedback. So do many other people I know, feel about Idea. Hope someone looks into this if they really want to match up to the standards of other servide providers.

My name is Amit Sinha and I am using Idea Cellular services (New-Delhi region).
I am a prepaid customer who hold two numbers which are as follows:
1)+91-[protected]
2)+91-[protected].

The moment I took these two nos my life has totally changed as Idea promised but in a "NEGATIVE WAY".

BELIEVE ME 'IDEA" IS THE WORST COMPANY ANY CONSUMER CAN ASSOCIATE WITH.

They do not provide network coverage at my place which is in South Delhi.

The list does not stop here:
These are the following places where they is no network coverage atall.

1) Sector 55 Gurgaon.
2) R.k.PURAM(my place).
3) Safdarjung Hospital (I st floor, Medical deptt.)
3) Ram monahar lohia Hospital(the moment one enters into the OPD, the signal is blank) etc.

I referred to the above place as they are very prominent and you will find the network coverage of any other network service provider to be in full swing because of their importance and dynamics.

But who care in IDEA, even if you complain, a complaint ID would be generated and then when you call again to enquire - the answer would be "Sir, we have check and network coverage is OK.

About Sector 55, Gurgaon-- we have planned to do the need full with 3 months.(I have taken up the connection for the last one and a half year).

when complained to the executive, about the call drops and network problem very recently, he communicated- Its a known problem and will be resolved shortly.

when asked for the duration from which the problem is into existance, they replied for the last 7 days.
When again asked when it will get resolved..the reply was within next 7 days..i.e 14 days.

I immediately asked him to transfer the call to Senior Executive on the floor and spoke to him. He issued the complained no "61436658". and said problem will be resolved soon.

Received the automated message --Dear Customer your communication ID 61436658 has been resolved.

wherein their is no improvement.

Again called in "Customer Illiterate Care "-(that's the new name I have given to Idea Customer Care) and spoke about the problem which they claims has been resolved.

After much heated arguments with CCE as the problem lasted for 20 days(I was unable to call any no because the call would drop with in 5-8 seconds) costing money for 1 min per call., the executive said will transfer the call to senior which was put to hold for 1.57.55(i.e one hour 57 min and 55 seconds) untill I myseld disconnected the call.

I called in again using the no+91-[protected], and asked the CCE to tell me what is going on with the second no and then told him that it has been put on hold for almost two hours...his response was " tum batao kya karna hai...main kya karu...when I could not tolerate this language told him to transfer the call to senior, the response was " nahi call Transfer karunga...kya kar lega...and then abused in the Desi language which is improper to mention here.

ultimately I called up the nodal officer and showed my interest to speak to "MS Nidhi Sagar" the response was she will call me back.

Received the call after 2 days saying "sir we have taken down the complaint and will do the needful." Also said we can not tell you about the action as its our internal matter.

When asked that I need to speak to MS nidhi Sagar, the nodal officer-she said I have the same power as she.".

So in brief, the nodal officer doesn't have time to all east listen to customer irrespective of what has happened to customer.

Lastly, I must say that their is no complaint registered at this forum as 90 percent of the user are "rikshawala" and the remaining 10 percent do not take the pain to even contact any one openly after listening to desi galis.

Its not the first time this has happened . If you take the connection be prepared to listen to desi galis or else never contact customer care or Nodal officer.

Regularly, I m paying my bill but from last one month idea company has bard my services with out any reason, I called them but they are not giving me proper response to me, know tell me how can I sue them.

I got a coupon of Rs.222/-loaded in first week of Nov.2008 and Total Balance became Rs.250/ then.
On 13th midNight I could not pass message to my son in Canada from my mobile No.[protected] getting a message on screen "No Balance available".
I contacted Customer Care [protected] of "M/s Idea" from my Landline Phone at 00-20 hrs to find out as to where the Balance Vanished? I was informed to my querry that I had loaded 2 Games costing Rs.100/-each.This is absolutely false.I tried to confirm today also from Idea Care but the same reply is same which is incorrect. I have been using Idea for the past many Years and this kind of thing is absolutely a cheating.
I, at my age of above 70years am a simple user and do not play Games but use it only in Emergencies.

sir, I am an idea subscriber([protected]) and using prepaid services of idea in delhi.I have registered for dnd on 18th march 2008.But on 25th october i got a promotional message from dominos at 12:38 p.m.the content of that message is "celebrate diwali with dominos.get rs.101 off on an order of rs.401 or above.save rs.101.coupon code:CRM04.offer ends 28 october.ca;;44448888 & order now.t&c."the message service center number through which they have sent that sms is [protected].i have already lodge a complaint in customer care and complaint id is 62022180 and it should be processed by 13th of november, 2008.i want that legal action should be taken in this regard.your interference in this matter will be highly acknowledged...

I am using idea connection in mumbai since last month (oct 2008), recently i got my 1st bill of 16 days as my billing cycle completes.

1) they charge me for the full month rental for GPRS instead of 16 days and also

2) they charge me for data usage (i have only used 80 mb out of 512 mb free), they charge Rs. 434.00 for 43 MB,

3) in my plane STD is Rs.1 per min, but they charge me 1.5 for some calls & Rs. 1 for others on the same no.

4) i lodged the complaint with the customer care ( 06-nov-2008) but till date no body give a call back from IDEA regarding my problem.

Sir i am holding idea mobile connection for the past 5 years. Only in these three months they are sending some GPRS messages. Just by clicking any key in the mobile even without opening the message also they are cutting Rs. 100/- every time. On calling their customer care, they are accepting their mistake but not crediting the amount cut. This has happened twice. And on roaming my balance was low and i could not make any calles. The situation was embarassing. Kindly take strict action on idea mobile. Now when i try to contact the customer care they do not pick up the phone, instead they are asking me to give sms which was also tried, but there is no response. Please take immediate action on them. I have taken Idea Net Setter service from ahmedabad and Agent told that Idea Net Setter can be used in all over india and no extra charges for that. He also told that Idea network is available in mumbai.
I m in mumbai. and here there is no idea network so i have used hutch network for internet and its a very very slow, infact slower then GPRS service.and charges for roaming is very high.
So, I m totaly unsutisfied by idea service.
