Hi, actually i am an engineering college student at allahabad . I with my 37 of my friends have recently taken idea post paid connections with internet facility. We are facing a great problem reguarding internet speed . The speed is extremely slow because of which our most of the time is wasted. So kindly do something to increase the surfing speed or give some solution reguarging this problem. We are waiting for your positive reply . Thank you.

Idea needs to really work hard and preform

The network is already poor and on top of that the worst customer care in the history of customers.

And the time it takes to even get to a customer.

Idea should shut its operations if the idea is only to harass the customers.
I regret taking an IDEA Number.

and I wish to say that no one should take such services.

I am based in Faizabad (Eastern UP) I have been using Idea prepaid since Sep 07. Before that I was using BSNL. Since I was facing a lot of problem while doing ISD calls, I had to switched over to Idea. Its performance was very good. But now (since Feb 09) its performance is not upto the mark. Nowadays it is very difficult to connect an ISD call to China. Most of the time without connecting call the amount is being deducted. On 24th Apr 09 I have tried thrice, all the time money has been deducted out of my account.(the ring was keep on going, no connectivity, still amount has been deducted) Fourth time I never date to call, because every time I was losing Rs 9.18 . If it is local/STD call its okay. In case of ISD calls it is unbearable. At the same time I was through from BNL network. If you have increased the connections please improve the infrastructures also accordingly. Most of the time we can hear the "Due to congestion your call cannot be completed" We never heard this before Jan 2009. Hope you will do some thing. Otherwise I have to switch over to some other network who can provide better network.

Im Richa Singh, my complain is regarding the activation of Net on my number [protected], they only called me n told abt scheme.
That time they had given me the no. after sending that no.the net will be activated.but i haven't send any number, bt its activated.

Cell No - [protected]. I've sent emails to customer care to close my no in May/June - 14. Number was discontinued. But after 2 months in Jul, i received threatening call saying that I have to appear in court as i didnt paid bills for June/Jul...bill amount Rs 1920. I rushed to Idea center, submitted a request to close my number with ID proof and paid bill (TR-MH[protected] on 23rd Jul 14. Now on 18, Sep 14, I'm again receiving calls to pay outstanding amount. This is going cyclic.
I have received disconnection confirmation on 16 Sep, 2014 with Communication Id C1-[protected].Again I received a bill of Rs. 1495 on 21 Sept, 2014. Bills are getting generated, even after request submission was done on 23 July, 2014. I'm still receiving threatening calls from idea legal department to pay outstanding amount else they would apply fine of more than 10 thousand rupees which needs to paid in court.Last call received was on 19th Oct 2014 from number - [protected] at 2.24pm.Customer care center informed me that there is no outstanding amount on me and number is discontinued. I'm getting this status from Idea center as well where I had put my closure request (S. B. Communication Rahatni, Pune). But I don't understand the reason for getting bills generated every month since then.I'm suffering from mental depression and is under stress. Please advise and do the needful as soon as possible.

Subject: Formal Letter of Complaint.

This is to draw your attention towards the way Idea cellular treats their customer. I am Jitinder Chauhan and my mobile number is [protected]. Please help me out against overcharges imparted by Idea Cellular. I activated a GPRS service pack of Rs. 99 rental on 11/12/2010 on my number. I had called up the customer care executive regarding this on the same day and he assured me that I should start using this service and there will be no extra charges apart from Rs 99. So I started using this service on my cell phone but after 2 days what I got to know was shocking, I saw a huge hike in my mobile bill that to of Rs 1794. When I confirmed from another customer care executive, he told me that I had been using a wrong setting and all this hike i.e. of Rs 1794 are GPRS charges. When I further enquired he was kind of was rude throughout and was not ready to entertain my problem. Also I don’t understand as I was already assured from one Customer Care executive that no extra charges will be taken then why are these extra charges being imposed and he too did not provide me any settings. If there were certain settings he should have provided them beforehand .This has been ridiculous. This is too stressing for me. It’s not easy for me pay uselessly such amount. I am using this number since one years and I m not ready for such maltreatment from company’s side.
Please review my complaint in accordance with your complaints procedure. Please respond within the next 14 days. If you fail to respond in given time, I will have no option but to consider taking the matter further.

When I try calling 59059 to get my SIM activated, I get a response from IVR that call will be transfered to customer care representative and after that it disconnects. Getting irritated and loosing a lot of business due to this.

Fake offer given to me-de activate my sim card

Customer executive are playing a fake game and selling the 4g sim of idea, i got a new 4g sim card with 1gb internet free.
But that 1gb internet is not activated and customer executive said its activated on 26/05/2016,

Reliance Mobile — Extra Money and documents taken but not changed prepaid to postpaid yet

This is Rajesh, i got call from reliance for converting my no from prepaid to postpaid. And charge was 700(500 deposit which will be adjusted in next bill). I said yes and One person came and taken 700 cash and documents.In documents for ID proof DL and for Address proof my other postpaid mobile bill on 13th Dec-08. And till today my number not converted into postpaid.
I already complaint in Reliance web world sec-15 on 16th and also in cust. care.They told me it wl be OK in 48 hrs. But it already past more then 60 hrs.

Hi, Currently I am Using IDEA Pre paid card, Before 2 months I recd call 4m idea call centr for pre to pos paid convert of billing. One person 4m Idea came to my home n collect required document for Pre to post paid conversion. He charge me 200 Rs n gave a sim card also. He said me that ur prepaid will be convert to post paid on the same mobile number([protected]) after 2 days. BUt after completion of 2 months still my cell is working on prepaid account. So please help me out. I spoke to so may times to call centre of Idea but no one help me out, I have 2 sim Card with me but the sim card which I have recd por Post paid conversion that still unactivated.

Please help me , Idea made me frustrated.

I have been proposed to change my Prepaid Plan to Post-Paid by Idea Customer Care.
But they took almost 30 days, till today keeping money with them and all the documents, and no follow up.

I have no idea if they used my documents and my identity for another connection or other illegal Customer.

I called many a times their Executive but there is no positive response from them either they do not pick up or just say we are looking into this.

Her is the brief what all happened,

22 December: Idea Executive (Shawana) called up ,proposed the plan ,I said Yes I want that.
23 Dec>>Executive name as Devendra came colleted my Document ,took the cash.

And till today there is no fooloup ,I have to call them and there is no investigation ,no process , no one picks up the phone.

Idea customer care ppl say its a Post paid team, problem, speak to them, I also tried that number but, i can only get Pre paid people.

After continus follow up , they sent me an email asking My Mangers working profile my comany Turnover and every damn thing they can ask.

Please help me to get my Money back/Documnets and and I want compensation or penalty to be charged for all inconviniet I have been casued .

AIRTEL- Converting sim from Corporate to Personal.
I have given application form alongwith required documents for converting corporate number to personal number (incl. Corporate "NOC" letter) to airtel, but these guys did not processed the documents correctly. For 1 month i waited, again in 2nd month i visited, they told to submit the application form. Again after submission there was no action carried by Airtel. Meantime 2 months passed, company decided to disconnect the number, which was done within 7 days. I am facing a hell lot of problem. Becos of neligence of airtel people why common man should suffer?
