Idea Cellular customer care service is ridiculous. It keeps you waiting for long, provides you wrong information, executives are bigheaded.
When I switch on my international roaming, I was told by customer care executive that incoming call will cost me Rs. 27. When I received my bill, all incoming call were charged at Rs. 76. My repeated attempts to get this problem solved by customer care was futile so I went personally to see Area Manager. Area Manager confirmed that customer care executive are still telling Rs. 26 as incoming charge. He told me that he is helpless as Idea has already paid charges to other telephone company so can not do any thing with my bill.
One executive kept repeating that switching on my international roaming will take THREE Working days!! What an efficient system!!!
Recently Idea charged me Rs. 2500 as OCC charges. When I called customer care, which took me 20 minutes of hold then executive keep on asking me what is your mobile number and telling me for 10 minutes that the question "What are these OCC charges" belongs to confidential information and can not tell me answer until I verify my identity. Can any body tell me what is confidential in asking why you have overcharged me? Is it customer care service or customer pain service? What quality of people Idea is putting in Customer care?

As per postpaid scheme told by idea person, I have 100 Free SMS and thereafter 40 Paisa / SMS for all local SMS included in the postpaid package.
During Oct'08 month, on 28th Oct. (Dipawali Day), I sent @280 SMS, for which IDEA has charged me Rs.280 which is unknown to me and I came to know only after I received the bill.
You are requested to correct my bill accordingly.

my credit limit is rs 500 and my usage is very high, and my services being suspended without any information.i requested CCE to increase my limit but he said sorry i cant, then i asked him to terminate my munber again he replied sorry i cant .i said i want to talk to your supervisor but he refused .

निवेदन है कि मै सन्तोष कुमार यादव पोस्टपेड फोन न0 – [protected] से बात करता हूँ तो हमारे फोन को बीच में ही ट्रेश कर अभद्र भाशा का प्रयोग किया जाता है ! जो आप के ही किसी कर्मचारी का काम है !दिनांक 06.03.2010 को सुबह 10 से 11 बजे के बीच भी यह हरकत की गयी और मेरा फोन काट कर बीच में मेरी पत्नी से अभद्र भाशा का प्रयोग कर बाद में कहा गया की आप मौज कीजिये में अभी आपकी बात करबाता हूँ !

महोदय/महोदया, इस सम्बन्ध में जाँच कर तुरन्त कार्यवाही की जाय कि आखिर वो कोन है जो हमारी पर्सनल बातों को सुनकर चीटिंग कर रहा है ! और मुझे बताया जाय कि ऐसा क्यों हो रहा है ! मैने कल ही एक मेल आइडिया कम्पनी उत्तर प्रदेश (वेस्ट रीजन) को भेजा था परंतु कोई जबाब नहीं मिला आखिर क्यों ?



यदि इस सम्बन्ध में कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठाया गया तो मजबूरन मुझे आपके फोन को बन्द कर किसी और कम्पनी की सेवा चालू करनी पडेगी !

Idea Cellular Post Paid Service — Idea Charging for Customer Care Call

Dear All,

This is to bring to your notice that Idea is charging for making a call to their customer care number i.e., 12345 OR [protected].
This is mutiny.
When no government organization like TRAI OR DOT have not yet declared Or have not made any official statement.
But Idea Cellular is still charging the customers.
Note:- It seems to be a big bribe taken by the TRAI,the reason why i am making this allegation is because TRAI website is not working.
So that the customers cant check the website for information.
The concerned departments have to take required action.

WOW! I was thinking they do all this to only prepaid customers like me but now I realise that they dont let go even the postpaid customers too. Well congratulations sir for your sufferings.

Why dont you sue them: Hain na kamal ka Idea sirjee trust me I will come to the court as an alibi. This must go to the lazy bump bigshots who do estabilish companies as their hobbies but dont know how to run them. Otherwise why this problem does not exist with Vodafone?
Anyway, the customer service in this country gives you wrong information be it big companies like Citibank or ICICI trust me.

Idea POst Paid Customer Care — Ridiculous Response

Hi... Idea Cellular customer care service is ridiculous. It keeps you waiting for long, provides you wrong information, executives are bigheaded. Yes Its True.... I recently called up to confirm about the SMS Plans & Details.... First, we have to wait for a long queue... Each Minute Of Talk Is Charged 50 Paise.... And LAstly I get An Idiotic Response from them saying I Have to log into there site, send a request mail & Then Get The Available Pan List.. At Last I can Opt For my plan..... Wat RUBBISH!!!!

Idea Cellular Postpaid — negligence in the deactivation of service

I am using Idea post paid connection [protected] for last 5 months. A chatting service has been activated in my account few days after taking the connection. I called the customer care many times to deactivate the service as I get 15- 20 messages every day. But the customer care is not aware of such a service and they reiterated that no service is been activated in my account. Idea customer care is the worst customer service I had in my whole life. People sitting in customer service don’t understand English, don’t know to speak English and they are not aware of the services provided by Idea.
I lodged a complaint 4 times and on 27.05.2011 I got a message saying ' Chatting service has been activated in your account'. Today (31/05/2011) once again I called customer care and they told ' No service is activated in my account'. Idea service has become a nuisance as I get 20-30 messages everyday flooding my inbox (Eg: numbers[protected],[protected]. I don’t know where to escalate this issue and now I am planning to go for MNP.
Please take care of this issue.

    I had recharged online by my Net banking of State Bank of India to Mobile no. [protected] of Idea Cellular on[protected] for Rs.145 two times i.e. Rs.290.00 ( one on non success, I repeated again). Both times they showed screen that my payment transfer is successful but recharge is not successful and they will reverse back the money into my account within 8 days followed by call from customer care that amount will be transferred within 2 days.

    After expiry of time, I contact customer care/service centre shops but till date, I had not recd my money back

      Got call from idea customer care and he explained a plan which i was not interested for, but he sent a guy to collect the document, but since i was not interested for that plan, i didnot take that. Now that customer care representative called and talked in abusive language.

          Iam using an Idea prepaid connection. During last month, Rs.30 has been deducted from my prepaid account without my knowledge. It happend again today. I had a balance of around Rs. 283 this morning. I made one call after that for 3 minutes. But again Rs. 30 has been deducted from my balance. When i contacted the customer service, (that too ater trying for nearly half an hour), they asked me to call again to get the information. This is really disgusting. The customer service is very poor..

          Idea Cellular — balance deducted without any reason

          i'm a upwest idea subscriber my no is [protected] . five days ago i recharged my number with RS.330 and yesterday i again recharged my number for activating weekly internet service with RS .98 and till yesterday evening i had a balance of RS 209 but suddenly today it deducted to just RS 39 . when i called the customer care they told me dat its due to to downloading but i have downloaded from torrentz which is a free downloading site and the reason for deduction is not justified .the customer care executive gave me the time of 2 days for checking wat's dis ? i'm quite frustrated wid the company's greedy approach of deducting money without any reason a loss of rs 170 is still pinching me but no body is there to listen my grievances.Plz provide me a appropriate reson for deduction of money ! !

          I had purchased a cell phone from the mobile srore Kukatpally.As a complementory they gave me free lifetime idea prepaid card ([protected]). Also i had purchased additional card for my spouse. Both cards were activated after paying Rs 47 each. The card were deactivated since 22 june within 8 days after activation for want of documents. Although i had given related documents within 2 days of intimation.Since cards got deactivated I visited daily from 22 to 26 june said store.However i was always replied that card your both card will be activated tomarrow. Hence i called concerned idea official Mr Ravi [protected]. Evenafter 8 days of deactivation neither the mobile store nor Idea cellular ltd taken care of customers.

          The worst ever identified service provider is "IDEA"... ha... what an idea of the subscriber to user this useless service. Its such a horrible Service provider which doesn't really stick on to their commitment provided to Prepaid card. I happened to top up through web services and not just once but every time I topup, I regret with the a thought of a Bad Idea to have gone for IDEA Serices.. It takes more than 24 hours to topup and best part is the so called "Team Leaders of the Call Centre"... wow... they talk so sweet. They are "Money Eaters"... ha... an Idea can change your life and your pocket too.

          Please mind you... its a bad idea ... if you think you should Walk the talk or talk the walk... with Idea... ha... what a bloody idea.. sir ji...

          Myself Maharshi Bhatt having IDEA mobile no. [protected].

          Today I got one sms saying "You have successfully activated Masti Pack for Rs. 10 for 7 days."

          I've never applied for that neither I've pressed any button while receiving any call from Idea. I don't even know what is Masti Pack.

          After trying serveral times, could managed to speak to customer care executive & supervisor. But they are saying they don't have any detail about it so they can't help.

          What should I do now? I am helpless.

          In Oct-09 i have converted the prepaid idea to postpaid . I given clearly while filling the doc ie billing to be delivered to mail-id . But the idea so far bill as been not delivered and without my intimation they disconnected the outgoings .
          The Customer care contacted me i confirmed bill to be deliver through the mail.

          Idea Cellular — Amount deducted from Pre Paid Card without any reason

          Hi


          I took an idea prepaid card a few months back in Hyderabad, AP (Numeber - [protected]) . I use it exclusively to receive calls and not make any outgoing calls or SMS. The balance when it was last checked was around Rs 82. I was shocked to see the balance dropping to Rs 22 without making a single outgoing call, roaming calls or SMS from the mobile.

          I logged a complained with the customer service (Complaint number[protected] and the customer service executive told me that it will be charged back in 24 Hrs and then extended by two more days and further by another two days. At the end, they told us it will not be charged as I subscribed to “Love Tips” . It is unreasonable for any person who does not use his mobile for outgoing or SMS to subscribe to such a service. Moreover. “Love Tips” is the last service a normal family woman in the late thirties will be subscribing. As there was not even a single SMS outbound from my mobile, I asked him how it was subscribed. The answer was a customer service executive called up and I would have accidentally pressed a digit while in conversation which activated the service. I have the following complaints against this

          1) Why did the customer service executive call up without being asked to?
          2) How can a service be activated by mistake? the system is faulty or intended to cheat gullible customers
          3) How can a deduction be made on a prepaid card without confirmation? Why was not an SMS or any other confirmation sent to the user?
          4) Who has authorized them to deduct money from the pre paid card. We have paid and purchased a card that does not mean that they can deduct money as and when they like . The company cannot decide the mode of payment
          5) I am sure that the whole issue is fabricated to take away the available balance from the card. More so if the user does not make any any calls or SMS


          I feel it s a violation of trust and an offence if money is deducted from a customer without alerting him and for a service not intuited. If the company had been honest they should have sent atleast an SMS before activating the service. Frankly I do not even remember talking to a customer service executive and I cannot believe the information unless I have authorized to deducts something with a signed document

          I request the company to refrain from such malicious acts and to charge back the card with the amount deducted

          IDEA Cellular Services — deduction of balance without reasons and not responding when i contacted for details regarding my balance

          I use idea cellular prepaid service for my cellphone...on 4th of jan my available balance of around rs.50 was deduced to zero and when i contacted customer care they told that their system has not been updated so they cant help me regarding my problem and told me to contact after 24 hrs...i contacted many times but the response was same...on 7th of jan i had to make an urgent call so I recharged a sum of Rs.30, and the same thing happened my balance was deducted to zero and the customer care was unable to rectify my problem...because of this thing i lost a huge amount of money in share market as even i recharged a sum of Rs.30 i couldnt make the call as my balance was again deducted to zero...Sir I dont know how to compensate my losses..I am feeling helpless in front of these big setup companies who offers service by charging us and make us repent..please i need some help

          what is happening now sometimes my balance gets deducted by Rs.10 and on 23 April & 24 April my balance got deducted by Rs.30.
          I called CC they tell me to wait for 3 Hrs & 24 Hrs n after that they dnt reply The People at CC dont know anything .
          Now im stopping to use idea
          Please give proper training to your CC Staff

          When we call to customer care, your charging 50ps per 3 min. it is good.
          But please charge when customer care executive speak with customer only.
          When we make a call to customer care after selecting a number i.e. call to be transfer to our customer care executive, then your giving all advertisement news before receives this call by any executive, even your charging at this movement also.

          I got call from Idea office saying about new offer in postpaid package. then i asked them to changed connection prepaid to postpaid.           I am Sajja Janardhana Ganesh Rao, with the referance advertisemsnt in the news paper i have applied to get a mobile network tower on my property in bangalore. i have made call as per reference advertisement in news paper to numbers:[protected] and [protected]. They have uided me to register in web site www.cellularservices.co.in as per i have registered with reg number: WSD3342369, after reg they asked me to pay a amount of 5400 on behalf of manager HIMANSHU AGGARWAL ACCOUNT NUMBER: [protected]. HDFC BANK NEFT/RTGS/IFSE HDFC0000313, nEW DELHI BRANCH. i have deposite the amount on 09/24/11. They have called me on 09/26/11 and asked to login and fill the details, as per i have filled the details and submitted the form. From then i am trying to know the status of application by calling them but they are least bothered to pickcall from my number, But when i made call from different number they picked the call still by listingn to my name they have disconnected the call and from then they are not picking call from the new number either. I have also tried to get the application status in the web by loging in it error's as "The resource cannot be found.
          " during registation they have promised that with in 24 hrs of reg engg will vist the site if the location is not worth of installation mony will be retransferred to the my account back. But nothing was done and no response at all.... To trick them i have reg in the name of my wife with her number on 09/27/11 then they had call to her number to inform to pay a feee in bank account to process, after knowing that ist my number they have black listed even that number. PLZ any one let me know where can i place complaint on the company and get the money back....

            My mobile number is [protected], few months before i have activated night calling plan and then in next month i dont want that plan so i have deactivated that plan, so Idea customer care peoples told me to send them messagess for unsubscribe that plan, I did this so many time but also my 60 rupees are deducting per month and when i am talking with these Idea peoples they are saying me that this plan is not deactivated I am not getting what happened these peoples are only taking my money, Idea service is very bad please do something.

            on 12-sept-2011, 07:12:28am, After making 2 or 3 calls of Rs 3 Nearly, my account shows low balance as 29 paise, it was on date 16th sept 2011, after that i was talked with customer care more than 5 times in two days but their responce was i have not information about your account, on 19th sept i was talked with senior customer care he were said i am taking your complaIaint, but after that idid not get any responce, on 20th sept talking with a senior customer care i got a message your consern for incorrect deduction is under process and you will be action within 09/21/11, 05:27:00 pm, but i did not get any responce, on 21th 05:40 pm after talking wit a customer care he said in message the date given is 22th sept and you are telling lie,
            on 23rd sept a customer care was said i am again sending your complaint, all the customer care says different statment. I am facing a lot of problem due to this, and i don't know how much people facing problem like this.

              Hi Sir/Madam,

              I am Srichandra Narayana Rao, using [protected]-Idea number since last 6 years. It is so happened that I had travel to USA as deputation from my Infosys in the month of May 2012 and I brought the sim along with me here. Recently I have couriered my sim to my Brother to monitor some financial alerts from Banks. As I was not using the number since 6 months, the number got de-activated.

              Upon contacting customer care and Idea offices, the staff is unable to help us get the number back. I need the number desperately as all my Bank related messages are directed to the number.

              Please note that I did not get any email/postal communication while recycling the card though I had some amount left in that account and had no validity issue.

              I believe, I hold all the right to ask for the justification if I was notified of this policy before recycling my card as it had some fund in it. Also, wanted to check if I had signed any terms and condition on the same lines before/during my tenure to this number.

              As I am a customer of IDEA since 6 years, I would request you to grant the number back as soon as possible which I think I will be using rest of my life if possible.

                I had renewed my full talk time card on my mobile No. [protected] and by mistake I fed in wrong number 98 the amount of Rs. 234/- got added to some other customer account. Immediately I contacted idea showroom in Panaji-Goa, but I see that they did nothing to recover my money.                 Dear Sir / Madam,
                This is to inform you that I am using Idea post paid cellular service currently and I want to move to Vodafone by using your portability service. There is no outstanding amount due from my side till the last bill that has been generated by Idea cellular service. But then also my request has been rejected by my current operator. Now, I want to tell you that I have also cleared my un-billed amount for the current month for which the bill has not been generated.

                So, kindly help me to migrate my number to Vodafone before 4th February 2011 because after that my UPC code will get expired. My present Number is [protected].

                i dont know whats happening with this idea cellular services, without any prior intimation the company activate ch 99 magazine services to my mobile number that is [protected] by which they deduct Rs.3 day by day, no fruitful response from customer care, customer care replies that the service activated by me from my number, plz help me, other wise i have to transfer my number into vodafone / airtel .last time customer care told me that they are not liable to listen our every problem, what kind of customer care they are i dont know, i m sure responsible authority also dont know whats the meaning of "customer care".
                Idea has the worst customer care. They disconnect the calls everytime without even solving the problems. Few of the staff in the call center are rude. Don't like even having a conversation with them.

                    Idea Cellular Ltd — Partiality with existing customer

                    I am very much disappointed with Idea's concept of provide the new customer double the benefit of what is been provided to existing customer. Even they don't give option to convert the plan to the new one.

                    Currently Idea is providing Value Plus 199 service with 300 local calls and 200 sms free ( CLIP free for 6 months only)

                    New scheme what they intriducted for only new customer Value plus new 199 400 local calls and 200 sms free with CLIP completely free.

                    I (onkar singh bains) from nagpur called upon idea customer care 8-10 times to get a puk no. for my mobile no. [protected] .on calling up cc each executive had a different opinion some told me to text my sim no. and some told me to call later and some told me to call another no..
                    on texting the sim no. there was no response and on dialing the given no. it was not available.
                    This is just carelessness of the company and still my no. is not working.

                      I am a customer of Idea Prepaid No [protected] of 'East Idea Circle' and now at 'Bareilly'. I have approached to your Zonal office at Bareilly, who suggested to lodge complaint for redressal. My complaint is as under :-
                      a) I have got idea msg for '31mein300' and subscribed twice, but not getting 600 SMS pack. A sum of Rs 3.45 is being deducted from my balance.
                      b) If this service was not for cusomers on roaming as to why this msg reached to customers like me on roaming?
                      c) This pack was for entire UP & Uttarakhan then as to why services are not being provided to customers in UP or Uttarakhand, who may be on roaming? Your 31main300 msg has misguided to me for subscription.
                      d) Why 'UP' is not being treated as one 'Circle' like other mobile companies? Your circle concept is earning money after misguiding the customers.
                      e) My amount Rs 31x2= Rs 62/- may please be recredited in my balance and confirm to me over my mobile. I am not going to utilize your 31mein300 pack. You are also requested to stop the misguiding to the customers, otherwise customer will start saying 'What an idea?' in a negative sence.

                        Idea Cellular :
                        I am a post paid user of the cellular company.
                        Last month, I deposited my bill(in time) through check in the
                        drop box available near my house. It usually takes only
                        one day to reach the check to the company.
                        After 10 days, I my outgoing was barred and the computer
                        response system, told the reason for the same is not paying bill
                        in time(in fact I deposited the same 10 days ago).
                        After talking to the customer care, as per their information
                        the check was not received. So, I dispatched one more check to the
                        company. Next day, the customer care operator of Idea told me that
                        it would take 2 to 3 days for them to receive the check and till then
                        I have to wait and my outgoing call would remain barred.
                        I got frustrated after all this. Still, keeping patience, I then deposited
                        the bill through credit-card and my no. got activated. As i deposited the bill,
                        as per Idea people, they didn't received my check, I thought its better to stop
                        the two checks, so I did the same.
                        After few hours, (when I made my payment on-line my phone got activated,
                        I received 2 sms from idea that they have received both the checks !!! (Unbelievable, the check which they couldn't receive for 10 days, they received it in a few hrs after the on-line payment...??)
                        After a few days, I got a message that Rs.100 is added to my bill as fine for late payment.
                        And then I got one more message that Rs. 450 has also been added to my bill, as I stopped the check..(which they didn't get!!...)
                        So, I would suggest everyone NEVER USE IDEA...!!

                        An idea can really change your life.
                        In February, 2007, I purchased an idea prepaid connection assuring me the facility of free local idea to idea balance of Rs. 250 per month. Now suddenly, from Dec. 2008, this balance has disappeared from my no.(which was supposed to come till Feb, 2008). After contacting the customer care centre and having a word with 5 customer care executives, 2 supervisors and 1 senior supervisor( because every time you call in, your call will be handled by a different person and you will have to repeat your problem story all together again), they told me that this facility has been removed from my no. and for that matter, allthe nos. with such facility because I dared to use this sim in any other handset not belonging to Motorola. On compaining about the fact that this was not told initially either by the company or the dealer, both the dealer and the company started passing blames on each other. Having said that, I would also like to mention that I do have one more prepaid no. having the same scheme, which was continuously used in a Nokia handeset in which the scheme still exist. Both the nos. were purchased from the same dealer and on having a word with the dealer, he refused about any such intimation by the company about using it in just motorola handset and even gave in the name of the distributor. But the company always try to remain away from all the hurdles and the difficulties caused due to them to their customers, because the supervisor to whom I spoke even refused to tell me the process to file a compaint against the company nor did he allow me to speak to any one else in the company when I showed dissatisfaction to their false explanations.

                        Such is the service provided by such a big cellular company.

                          I have a connection of Idea Mobile no. [protected]. I received bill for Rs. 7873.29 and found that the bill is incorrect and include a number of fictitious call. Thereafter, we spoke with one of your executive and he sent settlement letter for Rs. 6500/-- dated[protected] IDEA/DELHI /CDL/6001/1.10491661. Then later, another executive Mr. B. K. soni whose mobile number [protected] had finalized it for Rs. 6000.00 and We paid the same on dated[protected] vide receipt number RNM[protected]. After full and final settlement, we again received a bill of Rs. 1873.29. We were surprised and shocked to get a bill after full payment from our side. Not only that, we started receiving abusive, threatening and torturing calls from the company using foul and harsh language. Above all, the company used worst language possible without knowing whether they are talking young or old. They also, started to call to our friends, family members, relatives, business associated and well wishers and used foul and cheap language which is unethical and below business level and standard. By this way, they are giving us mental tension, making harassing us at any odd hours. We are continuously receiving calls from the said Company through the mobile numbers [protected] - Mr. Puskar Yadav, [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] etc.

                          We were literally bugged up and finally decided to send legal notice to them through our lawyer Mr. Gordhan Dass on 17-06-08 vide EMS receipt number SP ED[protected]IN. This was not enough; they again started giving calls in same filthy language format. It shows that they don’t care with country’s law and order.
                          In view of the above, we request your good office to take appropriate action against Idea Cellular Ltd. Today, we are victim of this and tomorrow it could be multiple. We are thankful and hopeful that we get some sigh of relief from your support and action against Idea Cellular Ltd.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,

                            I am using iDEA postpaid plan 444 for last one and a half year. I used to call my parents (STD call) daily 2-3 times. But maximum number of times I got a message form iDEA that "DUE TO NETWORK CONGESTION" connection can not be established and if I am lucky enough and connection established (after redialing the number again and again) then it gets dropped after 2-3 minutes.

                            I have lodged complaint regarding this problems several times, even I gave the numbers of my parents to the customer care executives but no result.

                            Now I am planning to change the service provider.

                              I am Prepaid custumer of "IDEA Cellular Ltd" from more than last one year. My IDEA Mobile No is [protected]. I had been receiving the promotional calls from "IDEA". I called customer car ne 4444 to stop the promotional calls.
                              First I had been told that you sent the message "START DNT" to 55406 and it will charge Rs 3 per message. When I sent the above message I received the reply from 55406 that It is invalid command. Than I back to IDEA customer care. After the custumer people said sorry to me and gave me another number that is 1909 and Type "START DNT" and send to 1909. Also I had been told that the promotional calls will stop within 48 hours.
                              But afterwards their no response from 1909 and the propmotional calls continued. Si revert back to IDEA custumer care. Than again they said sorry to me and said we gave a wrong information to you and the message for stopping promotional calls is type "STOP DNT" and send it to 1909, your promotional calls will stop within 45 days.
                              I had been using the value added services like "Missed called alert, Jokes and dialer tones", which I requested to stop.
                              I had received the oral reply from IDEA custumer care that your "Missed call alert and Jokes" service is stopped immidiately and it will not continue further.
                              But still I am receiving the jokes and missed called alerts are still continued. I called IDEA custumer care many times, but I am not getting satisfied answer from them. I am losing my money in this value added services, which has been activated by IDEA withhout any request from myside.

But everytime i get the answer as the problem will be solved within 4-5 working days. my compalints are both in verbal and non-verbal form. i have sent the mail twice to grievance cell and appelate authority of IDEA but even they donot bother to reply . Sometimes they say that your problem has been solved from our end. But result at my end is still the same.

                                I had purchased a sim card of IDEA at PUNE. It had life long validity and now i realise it has been misplaced. The number has not been in use by me since 2006. The reason being I was posted to Jabalpur. Here I have another number of IDEA [protected] with life long validity. Now I need the sim of PUNE again. I dont remenber the number either. Thus, I expect complete help from the company as I am an old customer.

                                  I had an idea prepaid connection for last 7 years, recently I got a call from some idea marketing executive, saying that my number has been shortlisted for postpaid conversion(i.e. same number but postpaid) . I went ahead with offer. This offer was offered to me on 9th June, on 10th June some executive came to me & gave me a postpaid sim. He also gave me some contact numbers to use in case of any problem with the sim or postpaid connection.

                                  Now issues:
                                  Postpaid sim hasn't got activated yet, that is even after 9 days.
                                  Even my prepaid sim shows Inactive Sim, no one can call me & I can't call anyone.
                                  I tried the phone no. which the idea executive gave me, they are not picking up. (picked up once & said rudely that relax, it takes time

                                  i am using idea prepaid from last one year, before two months i went to pune at that time prepaid connection was working, but when i returned from pune it was not working, i called customer care through another number but they are not properly responding

                                  Hi sir,
                                  I received a call near about 10 days ago to convert my prepaid idea connection to post paid. The person has told me the wrong plan. Then I have given him 500/- and my document to activate the sim. Now they are saying that the document is not acceptable and I can take my money from there office. i went there office then they told me that the sim will be activated with in 24 hour. Now after 96 hours there is no activation or call from there side. I am using idea from near about 3 years.

                                  Two days back (ie 1st September '09)i subscibed for poast paid service as i received 'n' number of calls from idea people where they kept pursuing me for post-paid plan. On 1st September i called the respective person and he gave me new sim-card in exchange of 1 id proof(voter id card), 1 photograph and Rs.500. I was also promised that i would be given a hard copy against the receiving of Rs500, which was not done. When i asked the person, he told me that they dont give the receipt. The person told me that it would activate within 24 hours and this the third day when my plan has not been upgraded to post paid. In addition to this when i called up to enquire this morning, the concerned person talked to me in a very wrong way and kept arguing. I believe, idea-cellular authorities need to look up to the matter (atleast ask their employees to be a bit polite). Merely advertising wont help in long run.

                                  Collected Rs 399 for retails bumper plan post paid 149.Handed me a sim,but after that I never heard of them.He gave a contact manager no as Pervin with no [protected], which is always switched off.Got him one time and told my problem but never heard him again.

                                  I had taken a tel connection on post paid basis from Idea. Idea had provided gprs connection for my tel no which i was not knowing. the last bill i received internet charges levied was Rs 322 plus 10% service tax. the bill says that i have used internet services at morning 2.00 am on 2nd march 2012. my bill cycle is from 23rd to 22nd of every month and the tel no is [protected]. and is in my name Vasumathi Krishnan.

                                  Idea says gprs is provided default and no rentals are charged, i do not understand how can i browse the net on a cell phone of Rs 1,350 ???

                                    Hi, I am getting a haox call from the recovery agents of idea cellular service.they are calling in my (RajeevKumar) And my wife's (Pooja Gupta) cell for the recovey of an amount that for the number which are not belongs to us . they are call ing us in odd hours and always use abusive language.
                                    Can u please advice me wht step i have to take ?
                                    They are demanding us money for the bill which noither on our name's not even belongs to us . If some body called us on the nuber and then made a fourd then we are responsibale for this ?

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I had used two idea idea post paid connection numberd as [protected] and [protected] around 1 yr back...after stisfctory using of the services and with due payment of the bills i request for my connection to be cut and my connection was cut with all bills being cleared by me.
                                      I got my refund checks 2 months later but the probem arose when the spelling of my name was written wrong on those cheques. It was written Shriesth Kulsresth in place of SHIREESH KULSHRESHTHA.
                                      I went to the bank to ask if it culd be refunded as suggested by the customer care executive of Idea cellular Sanjay place agra..but those checks were returned back to me and then i submitted those cheques to the executive there at Idea cellular sanjay place agra.. then again month passed i contacted him but he used to just beat arnd the bush and tell me tht its bioeng processed..
                                      Sumtimes he wuld just ignore my phone calls but after a certain period of time he told me to contact the Zonal Office at Agra.. I contacted there and the exectutive told me tht he had seen the cheques then which had been with him for a period of 1 month i guess nd told me tht my work of getting the cheques reissued with correct name would be done and within a period of 2 months ill get back my cheques..
                                      Those chequest were of a value Rs arnd 500 each.. now after a period f 1.5 monts when i hav contacted the zonal office at agra they say tht the work cannot be done and its my mistake i didnt get the name corrected when the connection was active thought i had asked the idea customet executive at sanjay place to get tht corrected nd he had taken it in a light manner and said it made no difference...and i can very well assure u tht i hav written the name correctly on the preconnection form tht u give...Now these ppl are not able to find those cheques back when i asked them for the uncorrected forms back nd making one or the other excuses..
                                      Sir.
                                      I kindly request u to look into the matter as its a matter of the hard earned money of mine and a total of Rs 1050 of mine are at stake...M sure tht ull look into the matter and look into my aspect of matter too as i need money..

                                      i was having post paid IDEA connection No [protected].wanted to convert from post paid to prepaid,Idea Distributor took 2 Months to convert, Zonal Office and 6 times to Distributor.
                                      at the time of conversion i was assured by IDEA zonal office and distributor that my security money 1000 Rs lying with them will be refunded by A/C payee cheque within 15 days of conversion.
                                      after waiting 3 months when i inquired about security money, it was informed that talk time of Rs1274 has been put to my phone 2.5 month ago,when i enquired that how 1274 Rs was credited instead of Rs 1000.she confirmed that excess billing of Rs 300 was done in your A/C and we have paid service tax on this amount to Govt,that has been deducted and balance is credited to you as talk time, when i asked how over billing was done in a programmed computer billing system,he starting shouting, inspite of my repeated reminder about her tone she kept on shouting.
                                      my complaints are
                                      1 when security money was taken in cash how it was returned in Kind(talk time),this is forcible selling of product, how can you bill be without my consent and adjust my security money. this is clear breach of trust.why you have not informed me that my security is adjusted.
                                      2 my payments were against bills raised by you time to time,how and when you have charged be excess amount,if at all it was your fault then why should i be held responsible for the amount paid as service tax by you

                                      it is requested to arrange refund of security money along with excess amount charged also explain how excess billing was done .

                                      This is DEV KUMAR . I have taken IDEA Prepaid cellular connection mobile no .[protected] during 2004 from Horizon communication, Lajpat Nagar Delhi while I was posted in Delhi and deposited Rs. 450/- on account of security money.The reperesentative of idea cellular told me as and when you will surrender the connection the security money will be return to you.
                                      I was transfered from Delhi to Muzaffarpur(bihar) during 2009 . I surrended the pre paid connection Aug. 2009 After lapse of one year neither any communication nor security money refundeed to me till date. It is therefore requested kundly arrange to refund my secuity money at the earliest.

                                        My IDEA prepaid number is [protected]
                                        I was abroad and did not use it for 2 months.
                                        When I came back I topped up my account. The topup was successful but my account is yet barred. Money coming in always welcome even if you do not give any service. Who owns IDEA, can I get his number please because sending emails to customer care returns no response, calling toll free number 4444 and customer care number at Sharda centre has no talk to executive option. No hope this complaint will be addressed but this in the next options after trying to reach them. Thanks, Priya

                                        we stay in hyderabad in vidyanagar area near deshmukh hosptl...in our house nearly 10 people are using idea sim cards..we r not having proper signal since 3 months...and even costomercare people are not receiving us proprely, we hav compland many times, thet said that dere iz a problem in tower so it takes 2-3months...but it is 3rd month running rite now what we have to do...we can not even receive calls and we cant dial to others...how many months its going to take longer...this iz not fare...please solve our problem soon...dese sim cards are very important to us...so i[censored] people can solve dis problm soon v'll be in idea or else v are going to change to someother cards...d alredy v are using airtel as v dnt hav signal in our area...as a second phone

                                        Am very upset to idea incorrect chrgs cutting. i have rechrg with 50r.s and u cut 25 rs. for sms pack, and 15 rs. chrgs u have cut i don.t know . yesterday i rechrg with 25. sms pack . and 20r.s rechrg u cut my money again and again. and now my blance is 2rs. something. why u cut this chrgs. ihave no any call .

                                        I have three number's of idea two numbers from U.P. & one is jalandher
                                        but i could not recharge the jalandher number from outher state. but outher U.P. numbers
                                        i can recharge any where. why ???????????????
                                        Today i have got a call from idea for masti/fundo service. in this call they often asked to press any number like 1, 2, 3... But today without pressing any key at last they told that your masti/ fundo services activated than a maassege comes that Rs.1 is deducted for musti/fundo service. even without my concern they started this service by their own. it is bad and i wanna stop this masti/fundo service right now.

                                        Today on 18sep09 I didnt recieved recieve a call from anyone but suddenly my sim goes fail its doesnt semms to be working i went to shop as it was showing registration failed so the person informed me that its regarding some id proof which they want .I do subit all verification at the time of purchasing my sim yoy should let your customer know before you do all these things.

                                        My phone with no. [protected] is barred. i dont know reason behind it n for d same i havent got any communication from IDEA. LAST 15 DAYS I HAVE CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR DEACTIVE THE MASTI/FANDU SERVICE AGAIN & AGAIN (2, 3 TIMES) . EVERY TIME THEY TOLD ME YOUR SERVICE IS DEACTIVED IN 24 TO 48 HRS. & YOUR REQUEST IS FORWORD. WHEN I MAKED THE CONFERMATION CALL IN CUST. CARE FOR DEACTIVATION(masti/fandu service) every time he says me some technical problem in our system So your service not deactivate & again take the request to deactivate this. BUT THE PROBLEM IS STILL SAME . THIS SERVICE IS NOT DEACTIVE YET.
