I got a message which states that

I recharge my no in the next morning...but coudnt get your service. i talk to customer care exetuvies so many times but
they didnt provide me any help..
if this will remain the case i am afraid that i can go to consumer court. I want my money back or the facility of the message.

I P.C Mittal had earlier submitted to you my two numbers

and P.C Mittal to change from postpaid to prepaid and submitted
on[protected] voter i card and two photographs each at your
sector-03 Rohini Idea showroom . But Dated[protected], I have
received a message that you have not received any i.d proof.
For this wrong action, I suffered a lot. Please take action against
your idea showroom of sector-03 Rohini Delhi. For their negligence
otherwise i shall go to consumer court. my number should not be
closed at any cost.bt dated[protected] my numbers are closed incoming and outgoing is barred.. My bussiness is suffered, Plz my numbers activate as soon as possible, I have already second time dated[protected] submitted i.d proof and photograph.

    I am Manjeet Mitra my cell no. [protected], since 2004 i m customer of your company. I am Paid under cheque no. 588833 dt 24/6/2008 deposited in C-7, Fateh Nagar, Jail Road, New Delhi -110018.I am very surprise when your company customer care Executive is call say that your payment of Rs. 1221/- was washed it was not clear from my account. base of that above mentied subject. I can't understand that how is careless from your company. When i am complaint it your customer care Executive Mr. Ritesh Kapoor, (27/06/2008 10.09 am) that say we are not taken any complaint from your end. because we are not trust in our customer it our right what ever u can do with the customer. What my mistake, please be clear, make sure that between my phone is working becuase it not my mistake.

    Idea Cellular Ltd — Partiality with existing customer

    I am very much disappointed with Idea's concept of provide the new customer double the benefit of what is been provided to existing customer. Even they don't give option to convert the plan to the new one.

    Currently Idea is providing Value Plus 199 service with 300 local calls and 200 sms free ( CLIP free for 6 months only)

    New scheme what they intriducted for only new customer Value plus new 199 400 local calls and 200 sms free with CLIP completely free.

    I am an Idea customer from last 3 years. My number is [protected]. I pay my bills on time but from last 3-4 months we are not getting proper coverage from Idea Cellular Lts. The area is Atul Nagar, Warje Highway, Pune - 41152.

    Idea Cellular Ltd — poor working of companies executive

    i have changed my mobile([protected]) operator by portabilty from airtel to idea. but they activated my talking plan partialy. they activated calls, internet, plans but did not activat sms packages although all of these should be activated according to plan. i have complaint several times. but customer executive did not provide me any satisfactory answer. my plan was 249 combo plan. what should i do.

    Idea Cellular — careless cc executives

    I (onkar singh bains) from nagpur called upon idea customer care 8-10 times to get a puk no. for my mobile no. [protected] .on calling up cc each executive had a different opinion some told me to text my sim no. and some told me to call later and some told me to call another no..
    on texting the sim no. there was no response and on dialing the given no. it was not available.
    This is just carelessness of the company and still my no. is not working.

    when i made my number prepaid i submitted my address proof n a photo signed my me n they activated my number but since 25 days 4 times my number is not in service telling me that my documents were not right
    so my complaint is that if my documents were not right n why were they received by idea office at idea centre chavni my this number is for business purpose n ihave faced a lot of lose due to this n who is responsible for all dis they should be punished for their carelessness n my wastage of fuel time n money

      I am a customer of Idea Prepaid No [protected] of 'East Idea Circle' and now at 'Bareilly'. I have approached to your Zonal office at Bareilly, who suggested to lodge complaint for redressal. My complaint is as under :-
      a) I have got idea msg for '31mein300' and subscribed twice, but not getting 600 SMS pack. A sum of Rs 3.45 is being deducted from my balance.
      b) If this service was not for cusomers on roaming as to why this msg reached to customers like me on roaming?
      c) This pack was for entire UP & Uttarakhan then as to why services are not being provided to customers in UP or Uttarakhand, who may be on roaming? Your 31main300 msg has misguided to me for subscription.
      d) Why 'UP' is not being treated as one 'Circle' like other mobile companies? Your circle concept is earning money after misguiding the customers.
      e) My amount Rs 31x2= Rs 62/- may please be recredited in my balance and confirm to me over my mobile. I am not going to utilize your 31mein300 pack. You are also requested to stop the misguiding to the customers, otherwise customer will start saying 'What an idea?' in a negative sence.
      f) Please provide me redressal immediately.

      Idea Prepaid — REGARDING MSG PACK

      I ACTIVATE MSG PACK ON 12-DEC-2009 ,YET IT HAS NO ACTIVATE I TALK TO IDEA CUSTOMER CARE BUT THEY DOES NOT GIVE ME TRUE RESPONSE .THEY ARE HARASSMENT ME.

        Idea Cellular :
        I am a post paid user of the cellular company.
        Last month, I deposited my bill(in time) through check in the
        drop box available near my house. It usually takes only
        one day to reach the check to the company.
        After 10 days, I my outgoing was barred and the computer
        response system, told the reason for the same is not paying bill
        in time(in fact I deposited the same 10 days ago).
        After talking to the customer care, as per their information
        the check was not received. So, I dispatched one more check to the
        company. Next day, the customer care operator of Idea told me that
        it would take 2 to 3 days for them to receive the check and till then
        I have to wait and my outgoing call would remain barred.
        I got frustrated after all this. Still, keeping patience, I then deposited
        the bill through credit-card and my no. got activated. As i deposited the bill,
        as per Idea people, they didn't received my check, I thought its better to stop
        the two checks, so I did the same.
        After few hours, (when I made my payment on-line my phone got activated,
        I received 2 sms from idea that they have received both the checks !!! (Unbelievable, the check which they couldn't receive for 10 days, they received it in a few hrs after the on-line payment...??)
        After a few days, I got a message that Rs.100 is added to my bill as fine for late payment.
        And then I got one more message that Rs. 450 has also been added to my bill, as I stopped the check..(which they didn't get!!...)
        So, I would suggest everyone NEVER USE IDEA...!!

        An idea can really change your life.
        In February, 2007, I purchased an idea prepaid connection assuring me the facility of free local idea to idea balance of Rs. 250 per month. Now suddenly, from Dec. 2008, this balance has disappeared from my no.(which was supposed to come till Feb, 2008). After contacting the customer care centre and having a word with 5 customer care executives, 2 supervisors and 1 senior supervisor( because every time you call in, your call will be handled by a different person and you will have to repeat your problem story all together again), they told me that this facility has been removed from my no. and for that matter, allthe nos. with such facility because I dared to use this sim in any other handset not belonging to Motorola. On compaining about the fact that this was not told initially either by the company or the dealer, both the dealer and the company started passing blames on each other. Having said that, I would also like to mention that I do have one more prepaid no. having the same scheme, which was continuously used in a Nokia handeset in which the scheme still exist. Both the nos. were purchased from the same dealer and on having a word with the dealer, he refused about any such intimation by the company about using it in just motorola handset and even gave in the name of the distributor. But the company always try to remain away from all the hurdles and the difficulties caused due to them to their customers, because the supervisor to whom I spoke even refused to tell me the process to file a compaint against the company nor did he allow me to speak to any one else in the company when I showed dissatisfaction to their false explanations.

        Such is the service provided by such a big cellular company.

        idea Network is India's very Poor & very bad Service Provider . it's company should be closed .Sarvesh Rana Delhi NCR.
        my ABN Amro credit cards has been used by fraud to make idea payments. request you to help resolve this fraud. uptill now was requesting ABN Amro to help, but they do not have any capability to resolve these frauds.

          I have a connection of Idea Mobile no. [protected]. I received bill for Rs. 7873.29 and found that the bill is incorrect and include a number of fictitious call. Thereafter, we spoke with one of your executive and he sent settlement letter for Rs. 6500/-- dated[protected] IDEA/DELHI /CDL/6001/1.10491661. Then later, another executive Mr. B. K. soni whose mobile number [protected] had finalized it for Rs. 6000.00 and We paid the same on dated[protected] vide receipt number RNM[protected]. After full and final settlement, we again received a bill of Rs. 1873.29. We were surprised and shocked to get a bill after full payment from our side. Not only that, we started receiving abusive, threatening and torturing calls from the company using foul and harsh language. Above all, the company used worst language possible without knowing whether they are talking young or old. They also, started to call to our friends, family members, relatives, business associated and well wishers and used foul and cheap language which is unethical and below business level and standard. By this way, they are giving us mental tension, making harassing us at any odd hours. We are continuously receiving calls from the said Company through the mobile numbers [protected] - Mr. Puskar Yadav, [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] etc.

          We were literally bugged up and finally decided to send legal notice to them through our lawyer Mr. Gordhan Dass on 17-06-08 vide EMS receipt number SP ED[protected]IN. This was not enough; they again started giving calls in same filthy language format. It shows that they don’t care with country’s law and order.
          In view of the above, we request your good office to take appropriate action against Idea Cellular Ltd. Today, we are victim of this and tomorrow it could be multiple. We are thankful and hopeful that we get some sigh of relief from your support and action against Idea Cellular Ltd.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I am using iDEA postpaid plan 444 for last one and a half year. I used to call my parents (STD call) daily 2-3 times. But maximum number of times I got a message form iDEA that "DUE TO NETWORK CONGESTION" connection can not be established and if I am lucky enough and connection established (after redialing the number again and again) then it gets dropped after 2-3 minutes.

            I have lodged complaint regarding this problems several times, even I gave the numbers of my parents to the customer care executives but no result.

            Now I am planning to change the service provider.

              Sir,
              I am Prepaid custumer of "IDEA Cellular Ltd" from more than last one year. My IDEA Mobile No is [protected]. I had been receiving the promotional calls from "IDEA". I called customer car ne 4444 to stop the promotional calls.
              First I had been told that you sent the message "START DNT" to 55406 and it will charge Rs 3 per message. When I sent the above message I received the reply from 55406 that It is invalid command. Than I back to IDEA customer care. After the custumer people said sorry to me and gave me another number that is 1909 and Type "START DNT" and send to 1909. Also I had been told that the promotional calls will stop within 48 hours.
              But afterwards their no response from 1909 and the propmotional calls continued. Si revert back to IDEA custumer care. Than again they said sorry to me and said we gave a wrong information to you and the message for stopping promotional calls is type "STOP DNT" and send it to 1909, your promotional calls will stop within 45 days.
              I had been using the value added services like "Missed called alert, Jokes and dialer tones", which I requested to stop.
              I had received the oral reply from IDEA custumer care that your "Missed call alert and Jokes" service is stopped immidiately and it will not continue further.
              But still I am receiving the jokes and missed called alerts are still continued. I called IDEA custumer care many times, but I am not getting satisfied answer from them. I am losing my money in this value added services, which has been activated by IDEA withhout any request from myside.

              Idea — No Response from IDEA regarding alerts

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              I have requested so many times to IDEA regarding network problem for mobile no. [protected]. But everytime i get the answer as the problem will be solved within 4-5 working days. my compalints are both in verbal and non-verbal form. i have sent the mail twice to grievance cell and appelate authority of IDEA but even they donot bother to reply .                 I had purchased a sim card of IDEA at PUNE. It had life long validity and now i realise it has been misplaced. The number has not been in use by me since 2006. The reason being I was posted to Jabalpur. Here I have another number of IDEA [protected] with life long validity. Now I need the sim of PUNE again. I dont remenber the number either. Thus, I expect complete help from the company as I am an old customer.

                  I had an idea prepaid connection for last 7 years, recently I got a call from some idea marketing executive, saying that my number has been shortlisted for postpaid conversion(i.e. same number but postpaid) . I went ahead with offer. This offer was offered to me on 9th June, on 10th June some executive came to me & gave me a postpaid sim. He also gave me some contact numbers to use in case of any problem with the sim or postpaid connection.

                  Now issues:
                  Postpaid sim hasn't got activated yet, that is even after 9 days.
                  Even my prepaid sim shows Inactive Sim, no one can call me & I can't call anyone.
                  I tried the phone no. which the idea executive gave me, they are not picking up. (picked up once & said rudely that relax, it takes time
                  Your prepaid customer care people says talk to post paid customer care & post paid customer care says they don't have any information on post-paid sim no.

                  i am using idea prepaid from last one year, before two months i went to pune at that time prepaid connection was working, but when i returned from pune it was not working, i called customer care through another number but they are not properly responding

                  I have taken idea postpaid connection on my wife's name on 27/may/2009 mobile no [protected] and at the time of verification we have provided the address of her maternal home but the same was been refused by idea peoples as my wife was not staying there then we provide our present address proof on 17/june/2009 at there chandigarh office in sector 35-c (R.O) and as per there executive Mr. Maddan the same will to be activated by 18 th evening after re-verification we also talked to customer care and they provide us complaint no as[protected]

                  Hi sir,
                  I received a call near about 10 days ago to convert my prepaid idea connection to post paid. The person has told me the wrong plan. Then I have given him 500/- and my document to activate the sim. Now they are saying that the document is not acceptable and I can take my money from there office. i went there office then they told me that the sim will be activated with in 24 hour. Now after 96 hours there is no activation or call from there side. I am using idea from near about 3 years.

                  Idea Cellular — Postpaid Activation

                  Two days back (ie 1st September '09)i subscibed for poast paid service as i received 'n' number of calls from idea people where they kept pursuing me for post-paid plan. On 1st September i called the respective person and he gave me new sim-card in exchange of 1 id proof(voter id card), 1 photograph and Rs.500. I was also promised that i would be given a hard copy against the receiving of Rs500, which was not done. When i asked the person, he told me that they dont give the receipt. The person told me that it would activate within 24 hours and this the third day when my plan has not been upgraded to post paid. In addition to this when i called up to enquire this morning, the concerned person talked to me in a very wrong way and kept arguing. I believe, idea-cellular authorities need to look up to the matter (atleast ask their employees to be a bit polite). Merely advertising wont help in long run.

                  I had taken a tel connection on post paid basis from Idea. Idea had provided gprs connection for my tel no which i was not knowing. the last bill i received internet charges levied was Rs 322 plus 10% service tax. the bill says that i have used internet services at morning 2.00 am on 2nd march 2012. my bill cycle is from 23rd to 22nd of every month and the tel no is [protected]. and is in my name Vasumathi Krishnan.

                    Hi, I am getting a haox call from the recovery agents of idea cellular service.they are calling in my (RajeevKumar) And my wife's (Pooja Gupta) cell for the recovey of an amount that for the number which are not belongs to us . they are call ing us in odd hours and always use abusive language.

                      I had used two idea idea post paid connection numberd as [protected] and [protected] around 1 yr back...after stisfctory using of the services and with due payment of the bills i request for my connection to be cut and my connection was cut with all bills being cleared by me.
                      I got my refund checks 2 months later but the probem arose when the spelling of my name was written wrong on those cheques. It was written Shriesth Kulsresth in place of SHIREESH KULSHRESHTHA.
                      I went to the bank to ask if it culd be refunded as suggested by the customer care executive of Idea cellular Sanjay place agra..but those checks were returned back to me and then i submitted those cheques to the executive there at Idea cellular sanjay place agra.. then again month passed i contacted him but he used to just beat arnd the bush and tell me tht its bioeng processed..
                      Sumtimes he wuld just ignore my phone calls but after a certain period of time he told me to contact the Zonal Office at Agra.. I contacted there and the exectutive told me tht he had seen the cheques then which had been with him for a period of 1 month i guess nd told me tht my work of getting the cheques reissued with correct name would be done and within a period of 2 months ill get back my cheques..
                      Those chequest were of a value Rs arnd 500 each.. now after a period f 1.5 monts when i hav contacted the zonal office at agra they say tht the work cannot be done and its my mistake i didnt get the name corrected when the connection was active thought i had asked the idea customet executive at sanjay place to get tht corrected nd he had taken it in a light manner and said it made no difference...and i can very well assure u tht i hav written the name correctly on the preconnection form tht u give...Now these ppl are not able to find those cheques back when i asked them for the uncorrected forms back nd making one or the other excuses..

                      I was having an idea number in Hyderabad and the number was [protected], it almost now three years that I have surrendered the phone, for which I have got the evidence, (further after submitting my phone that time, I have received one more phone bill, which was not correct), but till date I have not received the refund of security money.

                      i was having post paid IDEA connection No [protected].wanted to convert from post paid to prepaid,Idea Distributor took 2 Months to convert, Zonal Office and 6 times to Distributor.
                      at the time of conversion i was assured by IDEA zonal office and distributor that my security money 1000 Rs lying with them will be refunded by A/C payee cheque within 15 days of conversion.
                      after waiting 3 months when i inquired about security money, it was informed that talk time of Rs1274 has been put to my phone 2.5 month ago,when i enquired that how 1274 Rs was credited instead of Rs 1000.she confirmed that excess billing of Rs 300 was done in your A/C and we have paid service tax on this amount to Govt,that has been deducted and balance is credited to you as talk time, when i asked how over billing was done in a programmed computer billing system,he starting shouting, inspite of my repeated reminder about her tone she kept on shouting.
                      my complaints are
                      1 when security money was taken in cash how it was returned in Kind(talk time),this is forcible selling of product, how can you bill be without my consent and adjust my security money. this is clear breach of trust.why you have not informed me that my security is adjusted.
                      2 my payments were against bills raised by you time to time,how and when you have charged be excess amount,if at all it was your fault then why should i be held responsible for the amount paid as service tax by you

                      it is requested to arrange refund of security money along with excess amount charged also explain how excess billing was done .

I have taken IDEA Prepaid cellular connection mobile no .[protected] during 2004 from Horizon communication, Lajpat Nagar Delhi while I was posted in Delhi and deposited Rs. 450/- on account of security money.The reperesentative of idea cellular told me as and when you will surrender the connection the security money will be return to you.
                      I was transfered from Delhi to Muzaffarpur(bihar) during 2009 . I surrended the pre paid connection Aug. 2009 After lapse of one year neither any communication nor security money refundeed to me till date. It is therefore requested kundly arrange to refund my secuity money at the earliest.

                        I was abroad and did not use it for 2 months.
                        When I came back I topped up my account. The topup was successful but my account is yet barred. Money coming in always welcome even if you do not give any service. Who owns IDEA, can I get his number please because sending emails to customer care returns no response, calling toll free number 4444 and customer care number at Sharda centre has no talk to executive option. After one day I talked with Mr. arpit the team leader he told me wait for seven days this is the processing time for name transfer. Then I called in customer care on 359 your senior team leader told that your companies don’t have name transfer facility. Other company like airtel, vodafone have name transfer facility. Now I want to know that may transfer my no to my friend or I closed my no.

I have submitted my ID proof and address proof along with prepaid form for number [protected] on 7-Jun-08 at Idea showroom in Shalimar garden (Shahibabad). But the services for this number are not boing activated yet.Previously also i mailed the scanned copy of my documents at ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com. I called to customer care they are telling that they need an 8-digit request number, which is not provided to me. I am suffering from this since last two weeks, this is really irritating and wastage of my valuable time.kindly look into the matter and mail that request number to me.                               Hi,

                              I have been using 2 Idea postpiad connects for the last 4 years. For the past 6 months I am being worngly billed for GPRS although I have activated this service. Everytime I call up the CC they say that it will be reverted in the next bill and it takes close to 1 month to revert the amount. And again in the nexr bill the charges appear. I am frustrated by this and I tried cancelling this number. But they are reluctant to return my STD deposit. They do not want me to cancel the number and are offering some or the other useless freebies. I also have not been refunded the GPRS charges for 2 months. But when I raise this with the CC they properly ignore it and nobody wants to go into calculations. I would suggest nobody should go for a Idea connection and should prefer other operators.

                              I have tried most of the operators of atlest a year each (including AIRTEL, BPL, RELIANCE, TATA, TRUMP and now VODAFONE). each and every operator has some or the other problems and customer care is not intrested or doesnt know the solution of our problems.

                              there was a normal call which was attended by me and then i came to know that this is a promotional call recorded voce mail from idea, offering coller tunes. as i did not need that service, i disconnected the call. later on i got a message saying that you have opted for coller tunes and soo it will be activated.Then i rang up to idea customer care (Mr Ankush) and informed the same to him. He told me, you will have to run this service for atleast one month.

                              Thanks for your support to bring resolution on this long pending issue. Though vide appended mail dated June 10, 2009 you have confirmed to credit my mobile account by Rs.313/- for the number [protected], I have been issued 02 Notices from your office to settle the entire amount of Rs.532/-.

                              The said notices dated June 10, 2009 are delivered to my residential address yesterday i.e. 17th June 2009. Of the 02 notices raised on me one is from your recovery department and other is from your advocate Mohit Gadkari & Co.

                              I am quite confused because your appended mail states I need to pay only Rs.220/- whereas your Recovery Department & Advocate are claiming for Rs.532/-. Hence need your support in knowing what is the final payment due from my side? If it is a mistake from your recovery department and advocate then please send them the proper communication with a copy to me to avoid further inconvenience.

                              The waiver given to me is not out of favor but is for the rectification of mistake from your end. This shows clear lapse in the system which results in mere harassment of the customer wherein you impose faulty charges and then send unnecessary communications/notices with the threat legal action for recovery. If this nuisance is not stopped immediately then unfortunately I also need to approach Consumer Forum.

                              This is with references to subject demand letter No. Idea/Mum/FDL/0705-1/F[protected] dated 22nd May 2009. Vide this said demand note you have raised demand of Rs. 531.80 on the undersigned Postpaid customer of Idea Cellular services (Number [protected]).

                              Appended is the response sent from Office Email ID to your demand letter;

                              In the said Demand letter it is mentioned that the services for the mobile number [protected] are stopped. I am happy to hear this but this could have done 4 months back when I had personally visited to your kiosk at Bhandup – Mumbai (the only service station near to my residence). I went there with the written request to deactivate my number because I was not getting proper network connectivity at my residence at Vikhroli. Your executive there refused to accept the written request and informed me to fill in the deactivation form. On her request I had asked for the deactivation form but I was told that the forms were out of stock. Then again after 02 working days I went to said kiosk but that time also the forms were not available. Hence I had requested your executive to at least accept the deactivation request letter duly signed by me but my request was again forfeited. When I procured the connection that time person from the same service center personally visited my residence to collect address proof with the SIM card but the same type of service was not given when I raised the request for deactivation.

                              After completion of billing period in the next month you had raised an invoice for the rental which I had not paid. On overdue of payment I got a call from your call center on the alternate number ([protected]) requesting to settle the outstanding. On this call I had informed the above incidence wherein I was not being given the deactivation form at your Kiosk. The call was ended with no satisfactory outcome.

                              Next month again one more invoice was furnished (that was for 02 months rentals alongwith interest on overdue payment) and I had not paid the same as well. On overdue again I got a call from your call center on my alternate number for settlement of outstanding dues. With the great patience I had re-explained the whole mistry and the call was ended with the confirmation that the incidence briefed by me would be communicated to the senior authorities. From that day I had neither received any phone call nor invoice.

                              In your demand letter it is mentioned that “on personal visit from your representative” I have not settled the claim which is not false because till time no one from Idea Cellular Services met me to recover so called unreasonable outstanding claim.

                              Yesterday i.e. 28th of May 2009, I had received the demand letter issued from your recovery department with the threat to take legal action against me if the dues are not settled within seven days. Please note I had requested your several executives to deactivate my services but nobody helped me to do so and hence I myself had stopped using your services the same can be checked from your system.

                              I am ready to pay one month rental & service tax thereon for the services which are not availed by me but not going to accept the forcefully levied incorrect charge of Rs.531.80. Here the mistake is not of mine but still I am ready to accept the charge for one month rental to kill this prolonged issue.

                              Even after my willingness to settle your unreasonable dues partially if I have been forced to make full payment then I have no option but to raise this issue with consumer forum and local authorities.

                              I will be happy to see a quick response on this which will help me to do the needful (either make the payment of one month rental with service tax or raise this issue with consumer forum).

                              I too agree with all the above mentions of bad customer service and unfriendly customer attitude of Idea. Aditya Birla Group who owns the company is a big name in the market and the attitude that the workers of Idea will tarnish their image. I have had many other providers services and have not had this sort of experience from Idea apart from Reliance. The rest of the providers are at least trying to provide prompt action on a complaint even if their networks are bad. Being a post paid customer if you have to make an interim payment every 7 days could easily opt to take a pre-paid connection and recharge as and when you need it. I feel that there is no need for a post paid connection if there is a limit on your calling. I can understand if the bills are not paid on time, but this rule has been imposed from the very first day that you have taken the connection. I am not sure if the higher-ups are noticing this blogs and I am sure that if they have, it would open their eyes and take appropriate action against erring customer service agents and officials manning their stores and the help lines.
                              Today I also came across a cab driver who has a pre paid connection who is not very fluent in English and people at the helpline were mocking at him when he answered in Kannada. I took over the call and explained to them that this person had recharged Rs.60 this week and he has not make calls, but his balance states 0.00. I was told to call back with the validation date ( The next agent who answered the call did not ask for it and was prompt in giving me the details), just to ward off the query. I understood that they have activated Kushwant Jokes, Wakeup Song and Naughty Jokes. I explained to the CSR that the driver does not even know to read and write English and what are the use of these jokes which is charged at Rs.30, Rs.30 and Rs.25 respectively from the last 3 years and did not notice until today that these amounts are being deducted. I was told that a message was sent and he had clicked on okay to activate the services. I requested for a refund of the charges and was very rudely told that it is not possible and that even if I go to any authorities or file a complaint, I will not get a refund as they have proof that these services were activated by the customer. I told them that even if you want to come back to the main screen of the mobile, you press okay and that is not an indication that we are willing to subscribe for their service. I was told then that the terms and conditions that a person signs when taking a connection clearly mentions them. I could not continue with the conversation as I was late for work. The customer service rep that I spoke to was very rude on the phone and when I informed her that I am recording the conversation, I was told that you can do anything and they do not care. God only help them and the company.
                              My no. [protected] blocked for STDs since last three days. There is no solution to the problem. No body is there to listen till i approach to the court for this silly thing. These operators do not have any fear of leagalities or law enforcement because law is very linient towards them. General people can not afford to spend time in leagal transactions. Spending time on these thing is loss of work and a national loss also. I think 20 to 25% indians remain out of work to spare time for these things only.There is no use of making any system in India. After spending Rs 1000 for annual subscripion i have to run door to door. Even they are not murcifull enough to allot another number for time being so that i can save my business.
                              I suggest close all customer care centers and give this job to company outlets which are distributing connections. I am sure the customer services will improve. But do not put any customer care center in between.

                              I have a similar problem, idea is cheating innocent customers, I have called the customer service to enquire about the GPRS information and never gave consent to connect this service, to my surprise I recieved a message that its activated, and they were charging Rs 25 per day, Instead of calling then to revert my amout I called them to get me the settings so that I ll do a trial for a day but the useless guys overthere took almost 48 hours and half a dozen of calls to get me the settings and I was surprised with speed of the internet, I called them to immediately cancel and also informed them that this was not activated without my consent and ask them to look into this matter.

                              Its been more than a week now they still keep on charge Rs 25 randomly and when I call them the only irritating word I alway hear is " I am sorry sir but I want help you ... " well I am frustrated with calling them to cancel and revoke the amount which they are unnecesarily charging me.

                              Some one please guide me so that I can take up this cheating case to the authorities.

These use to keep customer on hold for hours with any reason and whenever they want the disconnected the line even.These people are madar chodd bhaan ke land request you everyone never go for idea post paid services even any services.

                                i have idea's card. last month i.e. in the month of may i had recharged with rs.89/- sms voucher. after that in the next month they have charged me a 89/- more and renew my sms pack without my permission and without informing.now my balance is in nagative. and they r saying that this is auto renewal system. please take some action against them.

                                  then another one is TERRIBLY POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT CENTER.for calling a customer service executive, one has to wait for a long time.. u have to go through all the automated announcements for atleast 3 mins which is very irritating and we dont have time for tht also..

Even though i provided all the documents asked by there service center and cleared all outstanding balance they have barred my serivce. No out going & incomming.                                   I made the Rs 100 Flexi recharge in the same day...I didn't get the offer even after 60 Hrs...

                                  I registered a complaint on 1st May 2009, They told the problem ill be solved in 48 Hrs
                                  They didn't take any action
                                  I called The Idea Care on 3rd May 2009, Complaint is renewed...
                                  again called on 6th May 2009... as usual complaint is renewd, and informed me that it will be solved before 11th May 10am

                                  I had changed my VODAFONE number [protected] to IDEA and got activated on 7 th Feb 2011. For the first 4/5 days i was not able to get balance on my mobile. But on 12.02.2011 i noticed the balance reduced to Rs 2.00 .On the same day I contacted IDEA Copliant number 198 and tried to lodge the complaint. But the man attended said he will not register any complant and I may cll 12345 ,
                                  I told him that this number 12345 is not toll free and charges will be deducted from my account. He repeateadlly told me to dial 12345.
                                  In this way I am not at all satsfied about the services of IDEA .When I demanded perticulars of my call for which charges are deducted he did not gave me any perticulars.The call deatils are call made on 12.02.2011 at 02.22 pm and ended for 00.09.01 .

                                    Idea has provided a helpline number [protected] for its postpaid users in Maharashtra.
                                    On May 29, 2008, I tried to call this number several times during the day, but this number used to get connected to their pre-paid department instead of post-paid. The executives at the pre-paid department are not ready to route the call to postpaid, nor are they ready to register a complain or greivance for this problem. They simple disconnect the call, or tell us to dial again and again.

                                    Now, it's 26th october/09 and my number is not activated till date. after a no. of calls, now they are saying that this number is on waiting, some body says that this is a gold number,

                                    I have recd. your Inv. No. [protected] Dtd. 10.07.2009 of Rs. 1123.74, which includes advance rental of next 3 months of Rs. 999/-. I register my this Idea No. in ICICI Visa Bill pay service from a long time and the payment directly pay by ICICI to Idea of full invoice value and the same amount I paid to ICICI Bank.

                                    Ms. Reema from your Idea Fateh Nagar showroom inform me on the phone at the time of converting my no. from post paid to pre paid that Idea will return the extra amount to me which I pay to Idea against above bill. She also inform me that the same was adjusted in your August, 2009 bill, but till now I have not recd. any amount for the same from your end.

                                    Idea cellular / post paid service — Problem in idea cellular postpaid service

                                    This is Dharmesh Kathrani, I have idea post paid connetion [ Cell No - [protected] ], I have this connection since 3 years, I have changed my residence from viman-nagar to kharadi [ Pune ] in September, after changed my address I am facing issue with idea service [ I am not getting network ], I called to idea customer care service 2-3 times but they are not responding me properly, every time i get same response it will solve the issue, but there was no action taken from their side but they charged rent every month for this postpaid connection without network, So I am requesting you could you please take necessary action.

                                    Hi,

                                    This is Naresh, I have post paid connection (Cell No. [protected]) I am using this number from last 10 years. I got heavy bill and it is showing 3g data usage which was not used by me. It is showing data usage of more than 700MB in a span of 27 Minutes. One time it is showing 256MB in 7 Seconds. bill dated 14th Aug 2014.
                                    When I try to raise a complaint to [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com and made number of call to call center no response from either side.
                                    Idea customer care service is worst, no one take responsibility to clarify the issue.

                                      I bought an Idea prepaid number [protected] three weeks ago. The number was working fine till last week. Since last week I am unable to make any calls nor can I receive any incoming calls. I get the message 'Services to this number are temporarily on hold' . The customer care keeps me waiting everytime I call them without giving me any useful information. It is very frustrating . After buying the card and adding a top-up card for lifetime incoming free, it is of no use. And the worst is I don't know why it is so. I had Rs 20 as balance in my Idea Chit chat account. Without using it ever, it is now reduced to 12p. I really don't know, how and why money gets reduced from a prepaid account. Could the Idea customer service wake up and tell me a good reason ?

Since sunday I am unable to make any calls nor can I receive any incoming calls.The shopper, that i got the connection told that he already forward the documents to idea office.I get the message 'Services to this number are temporarily on hold' . The customer care keeps me waiting everytime I call them without giving me any useful information. It is very frustrating . After buying the card and giving number to my friends it is of no use. Now, bill for the period 1.3.2009 to 31.3.2009 has been charged Rs.905/-.                                       Sir,
                                      This is my direct complaint to the IDEA CELLULAR.
                                      I am surrering from the many problems from this company from the time I'd taken this SIM no.[protected]..
                                      But I avoided lets leave aside, but then they keep on holding my outgoing services that too for no cause..& they have no answer for this,everytime they said submit one more copy of documents.

                                      This is third time when services to my no.[protected] has been on hold inspite of submitting my documents 3-4 times when u asked.

                                      Inspite of telling so many times that this is my officia no. & it becomes very difficult when my outgoing is on hold.

                                      It is so disturbing that I've balance in my a/c but I cant make calls that too for no mistake from my side.

                                      Few years back when I took this no.,I'd submittied all the required documents.

                                      Then after sometime again I received SMS for the same & My outgoing services were on hold, then again I submitted all the documents again.Then after 2-3 days of continuous follow-up my services were started.


                                      & this has happened to me 3-times earlier also from now.


                                      This time also I received a SMS to submit all my documents at below mentioned address:-

                                      KC AGENCY,51-OLD AGRAWAL NAGAR,INDORE.

                                      There also I submitted all my documents 3 days back, but then too You ppls hold my outgoing services.


                                      Can U & ur superior explain me why & how U kud do this to me again & again.


                                      Kindly start my services for last time so that I can finish my balance & can take SIM of other company where they dont create problems for me.

                                        i m a very old customer of idea prepaid i m very happy with thier services but from last 3-4 months i and my wife both have started gettin these unwanted calls from thier customer care and it is very irritating as we r driving or in da officem or doing work so please i want these un wanted calls to stop our nos are [protected] & [protected]
                                        I agree this comment. Immediately they have to stop this non-sense
