I have recently taken a new postpaid connection "Easy Share 2.0" with 5 additional numbers on it (total 6 numbers), from the Idea executives at Pavan Communications, Shaikpet.
Since the free minutes, sms and data is shared between all the 6 numbers on my connection, I had a concern about this before I went with this plan. In case if we go over the free 1000 minutes, I wanted to be able to reduce the number of calls me make from these 6 numbers.
For this, I asked the Idea Executives at Pavan Communications the following questions:
- Can I see current usage details of minutes, sms and data (used, remaining, billed) any time I wanted to?
- Can I see all the numbers on my connection at once place, and their respective usage?
The Idea executives confirmed me that I "can see all that information on the portal anytime". With the main concerns addressed, I went with the connection.
After my connection is activated, I have signed up with Idea Web Portal and checked to my surprise that I cannot to both the things I asked, and the Idea Executives confirmed about. Now, either they did not have the correct information and misguided me to sign up for a connection that I had concerns for. Or they knew it, but gave me false information willfully to fraud me into signing up for a connection.
Either way, I have been given false information about my concerns, in a way to misguide me and subscribe to services from Idea that I was concerned to subscribe for. I have called the customer care (on 29th April, 2015) and even they seem to be misinformed about that is possible and what is not. Refer to my recorded calls if needed.
I would like to find out what are my next steps. I definitely would not like to continue with such company where their agents say anything to get new connections, and customer care agents are fully not informed. Please refund the conenctions activation money you have charged (300 x 6 = 1800) and terminate my subscription. Also, move the 2 numbers back to Prepaid that were converted to postpaid to be part of this plan. Let me know what are my next steps.

Complaint marked as Resolved The concerned team followed up and tried checking the issue. But was not able to fully resolve it. So, eventually switched providers and I am at peace now.
