Hi,

Suddenly out of the blue i got a message that you have been charged 5 rs and some service is activated. I have not requested any service or given then any consent to do so.

It happened twice
Date:25 nov 2017 8:36 pm and 5dec2017 8:00 pm

Reaction from customer care:they picked up and then cut the call
After the 1st incident i was able to connect to customer care and they could not provide any helpful information.

    Dear idea Cellular team I have been charged for juice up service of Rs 150/- from 14th Nov to 13th December on my number, ([protected]). I don't know how it got activated, Please help to refund me my lost money. No SMS/email was floated by Idea for the same & stop fooling innocent people by your unnecessary hidden charges.

      I have been in idea from a long time.. More than 4 years after that i didnt like the way idea people dela with its customers. So i have moved to airtel.. Later due to some false promises i again came back to idea. Now i realize that the behavior of idea people didn't change.

      They blocked my outgoing calls and i have paid the previous operator due (Which is very less) and dropped a mail with the payment receipt. The customer care executives said.. Post 2 hours the outgoing calls will be activated. And, its been 6 hours i dropped a mail.

      Again i went back to the store by leaving all my busy schedule. The # store guys are pinching in my # by saying it will take 48 hours to activate back.

      I never expected this service from idea. Also, they are saying the sim will be deactivated for 48 hours to port to other operators... Which will never happen with other opeartors.

      Please educate your executives how to deal with the customer or change your # policies which ruins the customer life.

            I am idea postpaid user from last 4 years & was in impression that idea truly care for its customers but i was totally wrong. Had experienced too many problems such as-
            1. I have changed idea postpaid bill plan to rs 349/- in sept 17 after confirmation by customer care executive that my bill won't exceed to rs 400/- he didn't tell me to deactivate data services by calling/messaging on 1925 to avoid excess data usage... I came to know this after i received huge bill for using excess internet. I wanted to port out my both numbers due to this fake promise & incomplete information provided by idea team but then received call from retention team & they have convinced me to stay with idea by applying for waiver on both numbers. So i have paid balance bill amount n continuesly taking follow up on waiver status. Each n every executive just telling me to wait for 24 to 48 hrs to get approval. And i am receiving sms about unable to process your waiver request. This has happened 7-8 times from last 2 months.
            2.in oct 17 i have changed handset from 3g to 4g & requested to provide 4g internet services as per rs 349 plan but not yet started 4g services.
            3. I have recently temporarily shifted to pune & not having coverage at my residence so requested regarding concern on coverage. Received call from customer care & promise on network strengthening. But not yet resolved. I can't even complete a call without a call drop and access internet on 4g speed
            4. On my dad's mobile he has received call regarding plan change n he had mistakenly opted for plan change to rs 499/- on 10 nov 2017. On 11 nov 2017 i talked to customer care executive n told to cancel the plan change request & to continue rs 349 plan & he has taken my request. But till the date plan is not restored. And asking me to pay thos months bill ad per flat 499 plan & then of 349/-. Which is totally an injustice.
            This is very much disappointed that a brand like idea treating it's customers in such a way n harrassing by fake promises n commitments.

            Customer care executive tells to pay the bill on prorata basis & telling to wait for 3 days to visit idea store.
            Idea store executives are telling to wait till bill cycle ending.
            I am wasting my time in only calling customer care and visiting idea store...
            What an idea sirji!!!

              I have applied for port from telenor to idea sim [protected] on 29 nov 2017 and in evening i got sms on my alternate number to activate sim by calling 59059. From that time till date i am trying 59059 but it is not connecting.

              When call idea support and tell my problem they wouldn't talk logical and keep on saying pls try calling 59059. I think these less skilled resource just work like parrot and only say single line and don't give logical answer nor try to help.

              I am every day getting sms on my alternate number to call 59059 and get your connection activated but 59059 is not connecting. Pls provide any other number or activate services of my new idea number [protected].

                I have requested the idea cellular for the activation of international roaming facility. I am waiting for it. But i have paid this additional charges of 3000 each three times till date. Every time i request them for activation of international roaming they ask me 3000 rupees. This time also they asked me rs. 3000. I refused to pay as i have paid three times in the past.
                If they activate my sim for international roaming then i am satisfied of their services.
                Also in india i was facing problem in getting internet while roaming, i requested them many times but they could not solve the problem. I am having another idea prepaid sim that is working without any issues. If that is the case my post number can be made prepaid so that i will not have any problem.

                Till date there is no response from the Idea cellular. As international roaming is not active I am unable to get OTP from banks, so finding inconvenient to transactions of bank. As I told I have paid 3000 rupees three times within one and half years time. now they are asking Rs 2000 deposit, then what happened of deposit which I paid earlier ? this is something very unusual, this is not justifiable demand

                    My 90rs is deducted for midnight movie pack. I don't even subscribed it. I tried to call your helpline no. 198 and 12345. But it couldn't connect my call to your agents. After trying nearly 20-30 times i had deactivated the vas by messaging stop as instructed in subscription message. But i need my money refunded. Rs. 90 is not a low amount. Plss...

                      [protected] idea money account number has miss guided me and cheated me, deduct 400 from my credit card telling me some thing different to recover one of payment from shine.com of 5406 rupees.

                      Please contact me and take action on this idea money account.

                      Idea money should take care of these type of account who are cheating regularly some one daily... Honest people are suffering because of these cheaters... Close there account.

                        I have been charged so much for unnecessary subscription which i clearly haven't subscribed. It was for some pathetic wallpapers which i'm not even interested to know.
                        This has been going on for a long time. The same thing happened to my sister's account, she lost almost 200rs on these subscriptions which happen without our knowledge. Are you trying to fool your customers? Are you not getting enough money? Please stop this non-sense. I did complain once but you hardly took it serious, but please do look into this matter or else i will have to deactivate the sim or choose another service.

I have installed my idea app and checked for deductions via app, however no such transaction record appears.

                              I have port my number to idea from airtel and my nuber ported 2 december then i have recharge rs @ 71 as my first recharge in idea after it i received a thanks sms from vas services to activated its sevices as ero videos, hotshots, discovery adventure 3d, vifi, mid night movies etc which i did not requested my balance is wrongly charged by vas services

                                Hi,

                                I have been charged for 300/- rs for unauthorized services and was access.
                                I never requested for any service and never accessed wap applications.

                                I was charged for music pack service on 07-nov-2017 for rs. 99
                                I was charged for wap animation on 10-nov-2017 for rs. 100
                                I was again charged for wap animation on 18-nov-2017 for rs. 100

                                I am only the single sole user of my mobile handset. I live separate room that ensures that no one gonna use my mobile.

                                I have no access kids with me as well for now.
                                I am charged for unauthorized access. Please help me. I can't affords that unauthorized charges.

                                I've free data of about 10gb per month and unlimited call plan. Why would i access these rubbish services. I can better surf on my data. So, please don't cheat me and please please help me out on this.

                                  Sir. Daily in the morning at around 7:00 to 8:00a. M i am receiving the messages shown in the subjects which has no meaning... And after analysis of service centre number it is found that this msgs. Are coming from 58595 which is idea registered service centre.. I m receiving this msgs since last 1 month. So, now i m complaining about this matter... To the company... To take this matter very seriously... Otherwise i will go through national consumer forum..

                                  Cheating is what idea always do. They have been activating many services without my concern and tells me it was accidental. Balance gets deducted automatically. Now they are annoying me with flash messages.

                                    Without knowing me, my balance is often cut off. I am sorry that idea, which is a very good company, has its network of such misbehavior as its customer. I have filed your complaint very often on your customer care 198, but still they have not refunded my full balance. I am an educated citizen, i know how mobile is used, what is the process of deactivation and refunding of balance, but if this incident happens with a person running a rickshaw, then does he have his balance refund? Can not handle me because he is an illiterate citizen and it is a curse for him.
                                    Now i want that whatever my balance of rs.15 has been deducted in the fraud services, please be pleased to return it completnow i want that whatever my balance of 15 में has been detected in the services of the extra money, pleased to return it completely.

                                      On[protected] i recharged 347 to idea mobile using amazon paybalance.in view offers page amazon showed that unlimited call and one gb internet for 28 days, but i can not use internet data and then i contacted idea customer care and they said such an offer of call+ internet data does not exist today onwards, i recharged as shown in amazon view offers page (Same offer is shown in paytm and freecharge application) so that i missed 28 gb internet data, any way to get internet data or refund? I need internet data and not call, my mobile number is [protected]. The mistake done by idea and amazon is that they have not properly updated their offers in their pages and applications, as a result customer do recharge on the basis of view offers page and when contact idea they say that they have just now ended the offer by cheating the customer without giving promo benefits. Such companies have to update their offers properly in websites and other applications or stop online recharges!!!

                                        This is regarding my idea number (Mp region)

                                        From 13th nov, i have been charged for vas activations which are done automatically on the number. The issue started after i recharged my number with the 3g plan on 8th number (For rs. 97).

                                        On 17th nov, two vas services were activated on my number, without me doing the same. I have been charged rs.20 each day for that till 24th nov. I requested to deactivate the service on 22nd nov. (Ref. No[protected] even raised a refund req. (Ref no.[protected] but didn't get any refund for the same.

                                        Later on 27th, rs.25 were deducted, for which the customer care executive told me that some animated image was being downloaded, whereas i haven't downloaded anything, and i am using the internet just for whatsapp. No refund or even complaint was raised about the same.

                                        On 29th nov, again vas service, miniflex is being activated on the number, without me doing the same. For which i raised the request (Ref[protected] and asked for a refund.

                                        Now, on 30th nov, a new service is being activated on the same number for which deductions are made. (Ref.[protected]. Again on 3rd dec, another fashion service was activated but my daughter called and ask for deactivation, they are not even supporting that. I cant call and follow up with the executives each time, so my daughter called from her idea number.

                                        Since i am a senior citizen and i am not aware of all these things to call the customer care or to mail you, again and again, you guys are making irrelevant deductions for the past 20 days.

                                        Either your service providers here want to make some money or they don't care how much discomfort they are causing me. My daughter is calling from another number to solve the problem, but customer care is not helping at all on the first go.

                                        Either i made a mistake using idea or the greater mistake i made by recharging it with the 3g plan

                                        Kindly, refund all the wrongly charged deductions or i don't want to use the services anymore.

                                        Even i not getting any response to my emails, though i got an acknowledgment that within 48 hours they will revert. Its been 3 days but i guess for idea those 48 hrs are still not over.

                                        I am fed up with the customer care and their rude behavior.
