Hi,

I am trying to disconnect my idea number: 91-[protected]. I tried to disconnect it from october, 2017 onward. Initially i was being told, they can't disconnect it before completion of 3 months. Later on a, after completion of 3 months, when i went to idea store, keshtopur, kolkata, west bengal for the second time, they again didn't take my request and mentioned it can't be disconnected before 120days (1st dec-17).
I tried to contact to customer care service for raising it there but they mentioned they can't disconnect it as there is no reason of discontinuation. I am not happy with the service and being mentally harassed for a simple discontinuation of idea service. Isn't this a reason enough?
Later on asking for any reference no. Of call for complaints they mentioned the details are not matching with the customer details and said to contact them again with correct details.
Last time i talked to customer care person (Sumon mondal).
This is the 7th time or 8th, we tried to contact but every time they come up with different reasons for not taking any requests. The bill reference no. Is[protected] and is paid, still no one is taking any request for the discontinuation of idea no.

    Hi sir\madam,

    I am a customer of idea. I had switched from tata docomo to idea and it was the worst decision i have ever taken.

    I stay in dombivli and i visited your idea gallery in dombivli (West). I payed my bill on 15th november and enquired about conversion from postpaid to prepaid. The lady just informed me to come on 1st december before 3:00 pm.

    Likewise i came on 1st december and i was asked to co-ordinate with suprita for the postpaid to prepaid conversion. Suprita asked me the reason for conversion to which i told her that my usage of the phone is not that much and hence i was willing to convert into prepaid. She tried to sell me different postpaid schemes to which i again told her that because of some personal issues i am converting from postpaid to prepaid. She made me talk to a customer executive on call, on which the person again tried to retain me on postpaid scheme but i again told the same that due to my personal reasons i am converting from postpaid to prepaid.

    After the conversation, suprita immediately processed my postpaid to prepaid conversion in system and after the request for conversion was raised she informed me that i won't be able to use my phone for 5 days. Now if my number is not going to be of any use for 5 days, i believe this is something which she should have told me before raising the request for conversion from postpaid to prepaid. I told her that this is not acceptable because i would be missing on important calls and details if my phone would be out of reach for 5 days. She did not take the responsibility of the mistake from her end and instead got into a fight with me. She started shouting on me to which i had to shout in return. And the other 2 people sitting over there immediately came to her assistance and started putting blame on me. Point here is if my phone is going to be out of service for 5 days (Or 33 working hours as per suprita) then i should have been informed about it clearly before processing the request further.

    Suprita also told me that since i have converted from postpaid to prepaid because of my personal reasons, then i should manage my personal calls and contacts for 5 days accordingly. This is something very unprofessional. I pay you for your services and you are not giving me anything for free. I was shocked to see this is how you treat your customers. I don't think you have any right to tell me to handle my personal calls for 5 days for the mistake done from your end. Moreover when i requested to at least revert the process then suprita told me that she is not the head of idea company to solve such requests.

    Because of the issue which i faced on 1st december, i feel that i have done biggest mistake by converting my number from docomo to idea and i did not expect such behavior and unprofessionalism from idea employees.

    And since you guys already mentioned that it was my personal decision to convert from postpaid to prepaid and accordingly i should handle my calls for 5 days then with due regards i have managed all my calls and contacts and i no longer wish to be a customer of idea. Please discontinue your services i don't need them anymore.

      Hi,
      I'm trying to set barring service but got notification "error". Much contacted care for password but they doesn't aware about it.
      From 2 days got voicemail but how to listen? Its issue. Care executive said this service excluded then how can i got that mail?
      Caller id service when i'm tried to hide my i'd during outgoing call by changed setting had error there too.

        Every time i requested for internet service, they say it will be done but i am not getting internet service also i want port it to vodafone post paid, as my connection in idea is post paid. Please guide me for the porting so that i can get rid of all the issues of idea cellular,. My number is [protected] from maharashtra thanks.

        I have this number since two years. I have other idea number which is pre paid but services of this number are working quite good

          I am a costumer of idea cellular network
          They have deducted 10 r's form my account balance ([protected]) as a best of food service
          But i was don't subscribe thus service
          This type of deduction is unnecessary and unusual. I will request you please take action against the idea cellular network
          For unnecessary deduction and unwanted services and refund my deducted amount.

            Sir my net recharge pack is yet to expired on 04/12/2017 but i have 700mb approx data left in my account, to extend the validity i got a special recharge offer rs.26 200mb for 28 days. So i recharge that plan. After recharging that plan idea has deducted my earlier remaining data (700mb) and company's executive said that it's automatically deducted when you get a new recharge. Thats really shameful for this company. I'm using that particular connection from last 6-7 years, but today i'm really hurted

              Since i ported my mobile no in august 2017 to idea postpaid i have been charged from ideacms vas services which i never used. My no [protected]. I complaint several times to customer care but the never resolved.
              I have been constantly getting message that thank you for downloading animation from nazara you have been charged 100 which is a bug in idea postpaid.

              Dear Customer, We are unable to process the Service Request C[protected] as this benefit is not applicable for your number.
              This is the response from idea.As usual they do not accept any wrong from there side.
              They are illegally charging there are descrepencies in bills which they never accepted.
              In October bill they charged 1921 in which actual bill was only around 900.

                I have ported my idea post paid connection to airtel prepaid connection in the moth of july.in the same month itself i paid the pending amount and changed to airtel with same number.in the month of aug i received the mail stating that still rs.288/- need to pay to close the my idea account. I went to idea cellular store in chittoor and paid rs.290/- on 23.08.2017. We asked for receipt, but idea store person told that it closed no need to the receipt and i taken the photo of the receipt (Receipt no.[protected], dt.23.08.2017) and left from the idea store.

                Now i received the legal notice from idea on 01.12.2017 (Icl/civil/[protected], dt.13.11.2017) through post stating that "the amount of rs.288.82/- as due and payable by you. Though my client has sent you several remainders and contacted personally through their officers/representative for the payment of above amount".

                I have gone through the photo of the payment receipt which i have taken during my settlement at idea store and found payment details are as follows
                Receipt number :[protected], dt.23.08.2017
                Invoice number : [protected], dt.16.08.2017
                Account number:[protected]
                Mobile number : not mentioned
                Customer name : nirosha s
                Amount paid : 290rs against 288.82rs

                I have gone through the legal notice the details are as follows
                Account number bearing :[protected]
                Amount need to pay : 288.82rs

                Now the difference between the cash payment receipt and legal notice is account number not matching :
                Account number in cash payment receipt :[protected]
                Account number in legal notice is :[protected]

                Now my complaint is how idea store, chittoor had made my payment receipt with other account number with my name (Nirosha s). Now this idea cellulor sent the legal notice for their mistake and stated that in need to pay rs.288.82/- with 18% intrest p. A and rs.500/- legal notice chargers. Why i have to pay for their mistake...? This is completely cheating - i have not received any phone calls from their idea regarding the payment pending and now they have sent legal notice.

                  Today rs 5 has been deducted from my balance by automatic activation of some vas. The deduction was from some fashion bunny. I am not interested in activating any vas on my phone and don't want any future vas activation. I deactivated the service but i am requesting for a refund on rs. 5/- that was deducted.                     Hello my mobile number is[protected], actually i don't know how i received the bill of 6000, as my plan was for only 299 monthly, and now i am continuously receiving a call from unknown people giving me threat of court and all #, i am happy to do any settlement of 1000 or less than that but now any crazy amount if they demand.
                    Those calls are seriously effecting my day 2 day life and also those arrogant people giving different kinds of threat on every call.

                      Firstly i received my bill on 28/11/17 and the due date on the bill was 27/11/17
                      Secondly the bill is for rs. 610 of which whereas my plan is only for 349 per month.
                      I was charged extra for data usage rs. 197 which is supposed to be included in the rental plan. This was my final bill for just 15 days and i am being charged double for the same service. None of my previous bills had any such hidden charges but only the last bill does. Don't understand the logic. When i called customer service they said this is bcoz of porting out. I believe charging for port out is illegal. Kindly respond.

                      P. S. - never take any post paid plan of any service provider. They will harrass you with hidden charges.

                        I wanted to change my plan so i called the customer care on [protected]. First of all, the pre recorded menu doesn't give me an option to choose language and defaults to hindi. Then i waited for nearly 30 mins. No one answers. Same story if i try calling 12345. And as a last resort tried 198 for complaints. No one answers. I'm getting the feeling that idea shut down its customer care centre.
                        So, i tried changing the plan through the my idea app. Doesn't work.
                        Then i tried using the web portal to change the plan and as expected it didn't work. What am i supposed to do? I am in a position where its not possible for me to visit the idea store.
                        So out of options, absolutely no support and completely frustrated.
                        I even tried sending the customer care an email. The inbuilt response server replied but so far not even a single person has addressed my request that has now become an issue.

I have never requested for any application. Please check my recording log and stop sending such apps activating service and stop deducting money from my account.                               I received a phone call from number [[protected]] my reward points are expired and i can get cash back of rs. 4782/- adjusted against my reward points for shopping.

                              They asked for my credit card details such as my date of birth and 16 digit card number. I found it suspicious and asked how could i believe it. The caller mentioned her sbi employee number & office address and asked me to call on the number she was calling in case of any doubts.

                              They mentioned to send the otp. Then they asked for my credit card no. & cvv and informed that 4782/- each will be credited immediately. After providing otp for 2transactions were done and in 10 minutes i got to know that it was for fraudulently spending money from my credit card.

                              The transaction was for idea cell-billdesk mumbai in.

                              Request you not to settle the transactions as its a fraudulent one.

                              SBI charge back not responded in my favor. If bank wants can help in my favor. Now not going to use their service and going to crash and block the card after due payment. Idea money also.

                              Whatever i said and mentioned the same info SBI mentioned. I agree i disclosed OTP but if there enough communication sbi would have done with idea money i should have got that money back. I raised complaint on 1st transaction successful was on next day to ideamoney.

                                On 25 aug 2017 a mnp request from reliance to idea submitted by me with the relevant document four passport photograph and 60 rupees to m/s impax automations, shivaji chowk, guru nanak nagar, jammu, jammu and kashmir 180004. After one week i received a call from [protected] an idea care person that my i'd proof is not as per her requirements and i resolved his query. After one month when i called idea care center they told that there is same another problem in my document and they can not process my request for mnp between it my mnp code two time expired and they told me to generate mnp code for third time and submission of i'd proof for third time otherwise they will not activate my number. Then they sent a person to collect the i'd from me the person called me at a place told by him when i reached there he told me : ab m dusri jagah chala gaya hu tu idher aakr apni i'd jama kr ager tujhe apna no activate krwana h to. After that he gone from there. I told idea center that i will go to consumer court they told me : jaha jana h jao. Now three month has gone and they are simply wasting my time day by day and they not returning my photo graph and money back to me. Please do needful.

                                    I bipin kumar singh having mobile no [protected] post paid connection, i want change from postpaid to prepaid. Visited more than 3 idea store they all decline postpaid to prepaid request i want to any trai or telecom ministry when given to right telecom company to torture public or customer please take action or suggest where i can file legal case against idea company.

                                    I want take legal action all telecom who is is doing this kind of cheating to innocent customer. By tele caller buttering to customer after port out then trying teasing or harassing call drop issue when visit for change service decline by them, why telecom company doing this kind of misbehave to any customers.

                                      Your service center located at aa 19, ground floor, shalimar bagh, north delhi-110088 as teledeals name.
                                      Its useless service center, to visit couple of time in three month to port my two mobile number in idea but every time they rejected to say they have no idea sim we only provide the post paid sim, this is disgusting and this will definitely let down the reputation of big service provider in india like idea. Idea should fetch and discontinue service center like this attitude. Because they are not increasing the number of your customer infect day by day they will cut your valuable customer's quantity. This is one kind of issue i don't know how many way they reject idea customer and may be idea customer after frustrated port from idea to any another service provide, my suggestion is this is you want to provide the best services then do something in this matter and throw out such service center from you list.

                                        In 2014 in pune i (Prasoon tiwari) had taken a new connection [protected].
                                        However i realized i did not get the plan as promised when i received the first bill.
                                        Therefore i requested the vendor to close the connection and adjust the security deposit (Rs.1000) with amount. Vendor agreed for the same.

                                        Now in nov-2017, after 3 years, all of a sudden i am getting lok-adalat notice on my airtel cellphone. No one tried to reach on my cell phone once!!!

                                        This is disgusting. Anyways i went to nearby idea store to pay in cash and
                                        They did not even gave me printed receipt. They just gave me a receipt no.[protected] handwritten on a small piece of paper.

                                        I am still not sure if my due is closed as sim ([protected]) is also having due from some other person as well. It seems the same sim was transferred to other person?
