Hi there,

I have got new idea sim card from gujarat circle just few days ago on my name and provided aadhaar as requested. Today i just logged in idea app and i can see that name displayed is ' rupareliya hansarajbhai' where rupareliya is my surname and hansarajbhai is my middlename. It should be rupareliya piyushkumar instead. Please find below my mobile number and help me to correct it.

    As a result of reliance bihar (Smart) network shutdown, i opted to move to idea network for my number [protected].

    Now am not to able to call or text or even call tele-vertification number as provided. I tried it in the home network and now am in roaming @ karnataka.

    I even tried to select the network and tried to manually register on idea network. But nothing seems to work. I have been facing this issue since last 10 days and this is quite frustrating.

      Last week i received a message that thank you for downloading animation from bazars, you have been charged rs 100/. Balance is rs 315.25/-. I complained to your customers care. But no use

      Again today i received the same message and they deducted rs 100/. Again message is thank you for downloading animation from bazars.in both the cases i didnt downloaded the content. Its cheating. Now my mobile balance is rs 215.25/-
      Please immediately reverse my rs 200/- and stop such unauthorized action s in future

Now my mobile balance is rs 192.33/- and now, i recieved a message thank you for downloading NewArrival_GM from INDIAGAMES. You have been charged Rs. 99. Your balance is Rs. 91.16.
      Please immediately reverse my rs 300/- and stop such unauthorized actions in future. If nothing is done, we will solve this problem leagally in consumer court.

        I have been charged by idea cellular for outgoing from my no. [protected] to 055315. This no can not be dialer and i found similar complaint registered in 2016 by someone else. I tried to report this to idea with e-mail but they said they can not waive these charges as it is valid as per them. My concern is how can they charge me for dialling such no. Which can not be dialed.

        Hey brother, Similar thing happened to me also.
        Idea Cellular — excessively charged for a number 055315 call which cannot be dialed.

        Hi, I am Suraj Karad, from Pune maharashtra and,
        My postpaid idea number was [protected] Maharashtra circle, now I've ported into Reliance Jio due to Idea's SCAM.

        Idea cellular is doing some sort of scam to get money easily from its postpaid customers by adding some entry about dialed number 055315, which cannot be dialed and making money like 10 rupees per minute.
        I am charged rs 90 unfairly which is very wrong, their customer support is also bad, they don't help you, and they won't take your complaint seriously.

        Similar things are happening around to many people (Idea postpaid customers), if you search google only a number 055315 then you will see results that idea cellular is charging for some number 055315 which you cannot dial but they will add it to your postpaid bill and they will add any amount excessively to your regular bill and make money fraudulently. I can bet that this is idea's SCAM number using it Idea is making money. A bill screenshot is attached in support. Its best to have any other operator than Idea because idea also changed my postpaid plan automatically to some plan which they used for charging me higher calling rate while during this time period.

        Now I have paid excess amount and I have ported into Reliance jio where JioPhone is offering me unlimited calls in only Rs.49 monthly to any network without any condition that idea was imposing on postpaid customers and I am very happy now with reliance JIo.

        I have ported my all 5 idea addon postpaid connection numbers to Reliance Jio because of Idea SCAM.

        I am sharing my contact so that Idea can contact me to settle excessively billed amount by giving me refund.

          My phone number has been allotted to a different person. And that person has made transactions online for which amount has been deducted from my account!

          I was not notified regarding this. 4 deductions have happened from my bank account for online shopping and i have lost rs 6000.

          How can a telecom company suddenly give a number to a different person. Are they such big # that they dont know that a person's phone number may be linked to their bank account. Bloody thieves

          I have a Sim of Idea. But when I open my mobile internet then some sms has appeared of "Animation and Nazara" and deduct Rs.100/- from my balance. I strongly complain against Idea Cellular because when I talked with Idea Cellular Senior executive then she told that this amount is content download. It will not be refunded. Please help me to refund.

            Hi, i had ported from another sim to idea around beginning of november. It showed network for about 2 days. But, after that, there is no network. I am not able to activate or verify the sim. It is switched off for others who call me. Network name is shown, but not the signal. Even i searched on net how to verify the numbr. But, as there is no network signal, i am not able to make any calls or send any sms. If i get signal, immidiately, i can verify or take up the steps of activatio of the sim. Please help me to solve this problem.

              Hi,

              I recharged my idea number [protected] on 15/12/2017 through myideaapp.
              Recharge didn't happen. From hdfc account i lost 300/-. Then i got a message saying 249/- rupees will be credited back in 7 days because of failure of transaction from idea.

              Then i called customer care they told its our mistake 300/- will be credited back. But as per hdfc bank statement only 249/- credited back on 18/12/2017 and were is my 51/-?

              Today again i called customer service they didn't gave a clear answer. I told i will register complaint then she told go ahead we will see and she disconnected.

              I am not using mobile data still amount in paise is deducting. I have wifi in my phone i never use idea data. Still amount is deducting.

              I have attached below the bank statement. Please give me a solution. I am using this number a long time.

                Hi,

                Sms service stopped working after upgrading my sim to 4g. Tried setting message center number in two different phones still got no luck. I am unable to call any customer service number but other outgoing call is working perfectly.
                Every service is now otp based, so without messaging service i am in great trouble.
                Please look into the concern.

                  My name is shruti gurjar and i have idea prepaid sim card with me ([protected]). This sim card have international roaming activated. I recently traveled to usa and added idea sim card to new phone. This is not working ; i don't see any coverage for idea neither it is registering to usa partner at&t.
                  I submitted request #12465 with [protected]@ideausa. Zendesk.com on 12 dec to update imei information. Till now i haven't received...

                  Idea is cheating the customer by sending promotional message in the name of service message to the DND registered customer numerous amount of times even after raising the complaints many times. In the message it is very clear that you are trying to promoting the plans. It can be prove very easily. Just using the word service does not mean it is a service message.

                  You are just breaching the law. You people are always thinking that customers are fools and you can play anything with customer.

                  You people will always says the same. But nothing will happen. You people will never think behalf. You will all lesrn when company gets shutdown one day. Untill then keep on sending messages and make the customer fool.

                    Dear sir,

                    Please note that on our mobile no.+[protected], there is unaccounted charges or rs.648/- when we have called to customer care of idea cellular they said number 055315 is an astrology no. And i had many conversations with customer care. Finally, i paid the full amount to reconnect my connection.

                    After the reconnection, very first bill, i have received another charge of rs.279 to call the same time. When i try to call on the same number, it's saying this number is not valid and idea charging huge amount towards the invalid number.

                    This is the second time idea is taking the charges and forcing us to pay the amount by disconnecting the connection. Also, they are taking late payment charges for not paying this amount on time.

                    I can see many same complaints regarding the same matter and still idea cheating the customers with the same trick. I request you to kindly do the needful to avoid this permanently.

                    These people still justify themselves by saying this is usage charge. And I got the waiver for Rs. 279 which is charged in November 2017 Bill. When I asked about Rs. 468 charged in June 2017, they are saying its 3 months passed and they cannot. I am following up with them from July 2017 and they charged me the late fee for not paying the bill on time.

And you were saying because of some technical issues, it was not reflected in the last bill. I have received my new bill today and I didn't get the waiver amount mentioned in the email.

                    IDEA is continuously cheating customers by charging "CALLING TO INVALID NUMBER" and after that giving many false "COMMITMENT".

                    These people are the cheaters. Find the new email from them. Consumer Complaints thread they are saying all waiver passed and the email they are saying we cannot provide.

                    How can I proceed this issue with proper legal? Where should I give a written complaint?

                      My idea number is not working in Jersey UK. However my colleagues Airtel and Vodafone number is working fine. Network bar is not getting displayed. Idea and Vodafone are merging in India so Vodafone network should catch for my idea India number here when I am travelling.

                        I have recharged several times in idea app, but all recharges are not successful, recharge failed even after balance is deducted from my bank, my failed recharges 120, 101, 101, 101 and 309 to other idea number [protected] i have talked to customer care also they told balance will come in 24 hours, but no balance is credited, its almost 10 days since my first balance is deducted, still no response from idea

I was using 399 plan from which i had ported out on 15th july.in the month of august i received a bill (Bill duration 27 june to 26 july 2017) of rs. 2199.02.in this bill proration charges are 1624.28. Please note that in this plan i was allotted 1gb 3g data off which i had used 0.99 gb till 15th july (Billing cycle was up to 26th july). Still i was slapped with proration charges of rs. 1624.28.
                          A person whose bill amount was never beyond 600 for a month... I am being asked to pay 2199 for 19 days only???
                          I was and i am willing to pay for the monthly charges of rs. 239.40 (+ taxes) of the said duration. Kindly wave-off this proration charges and inform.

On 15 dec 2017 i was calling idea customer care representative and asked can i active idea 398 plan through main balance, he said yes. But in 16th dec 2017 when my frinds recharge my no i. E 70/60/70……{rs398 as main balance}. After that i can not recharge my no with 398. Idea cheats with me. They are cheater. Never use idea. It is ideas fault why i pay another 400.

                                    Idea cellular network is fraudulent and one of the worst networks i have ever seen.

                                    Over the past two-three months, after i had activated their rc198 program, which lets me make unlimited calls, they have been swindling me and taking money from. My balance randomly, possibly to make up for the unlimited calls made, by subscribing me to useless sms programs about poor jokes and cooking and gossip.
                                    They don't tell me and simply add me to. These programs and i'm only told after money has been removed at least twice from my balance.

                                    I've lost in excess of 150 rupees because of idea's malpractice in this manner.

                                    If idea does not reimburse me soon, i shall have to take. Legal action against them.

                                      it is so unfortunate that i have faced this issue from idea. i have been using idea for couple of years. i have never faced this issue before speaking of fact i have not activated WAP either. i did recharge for internet pack 197 for 28days daily 1gb and why would i apply for music mania game mania which i can download from internet why would i knock idea door for it. kindly check your database who applied for this services because i did not applied for any service which i got charged.
