Saw a deal on quikr for an iphone 7 plus that looked tempting. I pursued interest, and made an offer. I was contacted by the seller who was supposedly an army man. He wished to sell his mobile phone. The catch was that if i provided him my address, he'd ship the mobile to me, and accept cash in return. I agreed. He took an advanced payment of 1000. Kept repeatedly saying stuff like "army se hoon bharosa karo main beimaani nahin karoonga". I paid in advance and he said i will receive the phone the next day. The next morning, i was asked to make a transfer for 4000 for a "mohar". Basically, my package was an open package, so he required me to pay a fine for the same. After a series of incidents, he asked for another 4000. And another additional 4000 so for something known as gatekeeping. He kept forcing and urging me to pay. I then refused. Even when a senior colonel spoke to me and wanted me to trust him. I began to read online to find stories similar to mine. So i began to ask him to return the 8000 that i had paid previously. He said he'll do so on google pay,. But he smartly tried to take more money for me instead of returning it. That did not work out because i saw through him immediately. So currently, my 8000 rupees are with him. I need advice as to how i could report these people. I have screenshots and transaction receipts that stand as proof for the fraudulence.

I was searching online for a bolero car on olx, where i found 1 car as per my requirements & the owner was willing to send the same car & his name was vikas patel, the vehicle registration no. Was mh23y7351 & the owner's name was under sandeep amate, vikas patel told me the vehicle was under name of his friend & he was directly selling the car to me, after confirming all the formality i thought that he was a genuine seller, as he has also said that he has their own military transport facility available & only transporting charges needs to be paid to initiate the transporting services where the charges were 8440 inr, he made me speak to his senior officer yatendra kumar, after speaking to him i asked him for his id proof after verifying the details i transferred him 8440 inr to his paytm a/c no – pytm0123456 & he told me that it is army department a/c no. I transferred his this amount on 27th june from my current a/c, he sent me the receipt of 8440/-, on which every details of transporting with gst was mentioned. He told me it will take 24 hours to deliver the vehicle. Next day he again called me to say that the transporting is initiated and the vehicle is on gujarat border and to cross gujarat border and enter maharashtra border i will need to pay some charges of amount 21999/- inr and this amount will not be charged additional and will be deducted from the car value. I transferred him the amount. After 1 hour he again called saying i will have to pay the gst value mentioned in the receipt of amount 33550/- or else the vehicle will be blocked and the money can’t be refunded. I thought i should pay him so that the vehicle is delivered properly so i transferred him the amount. He again called me after some time and said i have delayed the process of transferring the amount of gst because of which late charges is incurred of amount 13940/- i asked him i have tried my best and transferred it at the earliest he said the car was waiting in the container for around 3 hours you will have to pay the amount and this will not be additional we will deduct all the amount from the car value. I transferred him the amount of 13940/- after some time he again called me said the car is reached mumbai successfully and asked for the delivery charges of amount 23710/-

Now this was too much and i sensed some doubt i reached the nearest police station and gave them all the details and they told me that this is a clear fraud cases and they started the enquiry process and told me to give complaint in written. While searching i also got to know that this incident is done with many of the genuine customers. Below i have attached the link for reference. Please provide the required help at the earliest as the person is still asking for more money and his phone is still on.

I have mentioned all the details and scenario and below is the amount transferred details and army names, aadhar details and mobile numbers used in the fraud.

1st transaction – 8440/- transporting charges
2nd transaction – 21999/- border crossing charges
3rd transaction – 33550/- gst charges
4th transaction – 13940/- waiting charges

I sold a scorpio in airport sevice army transport in olx app. They are demand a 200000/-. But i have already paid 1.31lakhs. But car not send to me. Plz take a necessary step 4 those people. I am hariesh, one of d fake member uploaded a bike pics in facebook sale.com wit mbl number i trusted n text tat number he answered n texted n chatted in watsapp also tat he will sell d bike, he was from bengalur, dumblur bsf member staying there in dumblur camp office, he wants to sell d bike fr 25k, after conversation he told tat fr postal transport of bike, deposit amount of 6k fr transport, i deposited after tat he called me n said tat deposit another 5k fr him i m not trusted i knowed tat he was fake. He called from number (+[protected] please arrest these type of members and give severe punishment for them sir... Jai hind

He was selling a bike cg07bq8556 on olx worth rs. 30000. He told me to send advance of rs. 5100 for recipt so that he could sell the bike outside... After it he sent me the photographs of rc and his adhaar card voter id and also an army canteen card... He gained my interest by this so i transferred a sum of rs. 2000 on his account. Then he told me to send a sum of rs 3100 extra so that total 5100 is submitted.. By this time i realised it must be a fraud case... Then i rejected upon his saying and asked for returning my money. Then he told me that it could not be returned as it will go in army safe. Please help

I am vishnu.v from calicut a fraudster named avtar singh who himself indroduced as a army man and he told to send him money through paytm for iphone 8. This iphone 8's ad was in olx and I sended him 27000 and he also send me his photo of aadar and canteen card after that he told the phone will reach me within 24 hours through army post office and after 24 hours another person called and said me that the phone has reached and I have to pay him 5500 as security charges so I rejected that and called avtar singh and said I am not ready to give extra 5500 and afterwards he atopped responding. Please do some thing immediately because 27000 is a huge amount for me I arranged that cash with many risks please do something fast because he is also doing this crime with the name our honorable indian army

The following are the sequence of events
1. An advertisement was put on OLX on 22nd of June for the sale of Honda Activa Aviator model 2018, when contacted the person gave phone number [protected].
2. On 22nd itself, When we contacted the person, he gave his name as Anil Kumar, working for Indian Army Regiment 72 battalion, and the bike which was supposed to be sold was of his friend, which he had given NOC for selling. He said to deposit 3000 rupees initially to get cleared from Indian Army Transport, so we sent by NEFT of 3000/ on the account of Kalu Ram Indian Army, after receiving 3000/- then he said to deposit 11500/- and then give the remaining amount in cash when we get the vehicle. The neft didn’t happen on Saturday as it was a 4th Saturday and we told him hold the deal till Monday as the neft didn’t go on sarurday…. We told him you confirm in your account the total amount of 14500 and then deliver the vehicle. So on Monday 24th he checked that the amount is transferred so he sent on whats app the challan for the vehicle delivery.
3. 0n 24th a person calls, caller id showing as Indian army transport department, he tells us the delivery will be done only after paying 20500/ that is the balance amount of the vehicle. Then he said we have to pay 11500/- as insurance for the vehicle until delivery, and the money will be refunded back in cash, next Then on same day he said as gst services 13200 / rupees and then the money will be refunded back when delivering the bike.
4. We contacted Anil Kumar, he said as per Army rules we have to pay and the money will be refunded back, we said to refund our money back, he then said, have faith in him and sent his Aadhar and his army employment card. Looking at all this that it is army we thought that the person was genuine person.
5. Finally he said, as per the army rules since is online transaction, the whole amount of the bike has to be shown as 35000 on the same day. So he said deposit another 35000/- . it was almost 6 0clk and the NEFT didn’t happen on 24th but happened on 25th.Now the person calls from Indian army transport services saying as the transaction was done on the 25th of june, we have to transfer another 31500/ which we refused to pay.
6. We called anil kumar, he said please pay the amount, we refused then he told he has 18000/ in his account and he will transfer in my account and also our money will be refunded in 90 days, I have given my NRO account number to him still no reply.
7. Later as per the RC book we went to find out who this Kaushik Pandit was on whose name the bike is registered…. We searched in Vidhyanagar and found that he had already sold the bike 2 months back and also removed the ad from OLX… and had also filed a complaint because someone had already put the ad in his name.
8. The phones numbers are still active, and as per Anil kumar the money will be transferred back in 90 days back to account.

Parcel man call me he said you have to show one time pay i said already pay you that amount will refund when bike will deliver
I pay more 20000
Now they are tell me you have taken more time now
You have to pay 15250
When bike will deliver

One so called raj kumar and salman of indian army had posted an add for sale tvs apache bike in quiker. I responded to buy it, and he offered to send the vehicle to my address through army transport parcel department. Later on pretext of various charges, they made me pay rs.40100 lakh, which they claim was refundable. On suspicion, i googled and was devastated to know that several persons had been duped by same modus operandi. Authorities kindly take necessary action, so that no further such scam happen...

I saw an add in olx that poco f1 mobile for 8000 and i contacted him. He said to send him 500 for delivery charges i sent him in paytm later he told to send another 600 so that the regiment officer will handover him a slip. So i sent him another 600. Now he is unavailable. He said that his name is parveen and he contacted me from [protected]. And i send money to paytm account to [protected] named as rajendra singh. I have immense respect on indian army so i trusted him as he said that he is from indian army. Now i want justice.

He called us to buy our bed. Without looking at the bed he confirmed that he will buy it. He told he will pay before via google pay or phone pay. He sent us a google pay request asking to confirm, where request said to pay inr 10, 000. He forced and pressurized us when we question and took out 10, 000 from our google pay account. Later he wasted 2 hours promising that he will pay back out money. He took other bank details also, fortunately there was no remaining balance in the account. Towards end he confirmed that he was a thief and he took the money. He mocked us and said forget about the money. He also asked us later to give 100 more rupees. He sent us a debit card picture which belonged to someone else.
He tried to steal money later via paytm also by exchanging kyc details. He knew everything how to steal and check. He said he stayed in panipat and his son was in sector 22 whereas there was no son at all. We have all the call recordings and the picture of his debit card.

I responded to buy it, and he offered to send the vehicle to my address through army transport parcel department. Later on pretext of various charges, they made me pay more than rs.2.0 lakh, which they claim was refundable. On suspicion, i googled and was devastated to know that several persons had been duped by same modus operandi. Authorities kindly take necessary action, so that no further such scam happen.
