I had gone through an advertisement on olx for a phone sale redmi note 7 pro he said he was from the army and asked me to send the advance 2000 by paytm cash and the courier guy will send me the parcel later evening the courier guy calls up demanding information and asked to send the balance amount that's 6000 other you will loose your money and everything will go in the government of india funds so i transferred it trusting the words he said as of an army officer later he demanded more saying the transaction wasn't compleat you need to pay another amount thats 5150 as army insurance other wise the phone will not get and your cash will be confiscated the payment mode was done by google pay aging he calls up and asked me to do the transaction otherwise i'll be in trouble a complaint will be fined on me i unfortunately having no other opting send me him another 5150 the total of 18300 after that he started demanding more for the reverse mail from the army i said no i want my money back they stared not replying and miss using my phone number
I have complained to the olx and also the police but searching for more help dint expect such thing i would like the authority handling such frauds to look into the matter..

He called up and said that he would pay through online mode. I had no issues. He said he would the amount now and someone from his home will comw tomorrow and will take the cooler. I said fine. He sent me a link and said that he is paying through paytm card on phonepe account. I clicked on it and somehow from my account rs.1100 were sent to his account. Now how asked me for my paytm login and password and said that he would transfer money to my account through his paytm card. When i refused he said that he will not give me my money back until i send him my paytm id and password.

As i was about to get the courier from u guys done by by my friend .the courier boy does seems to know the rules and regulations of service as demanding money after money and kept saying after each transaction to pay this amount or ur courier wont be delivered .for 20000 he made into 80000 and that too he said you have to done it right now or the product and money which u paid will be in pending status for 6 months...wtf is this about .after lots of payment of money kept saying new rule with 20k above transaction to be done... For failed transaction they would get money but and say transaction failed as I did not receive mail of confirmation. That not he problem he say... really. He won't even return the failed amount as he said u will get it by the time of delivery

Actually i was cheated yesterday by an army person (Mr. Manjeeth singh & mr. Thakur) for rs 3150 also he not only cheated me but he cheated many peoples which i saw when i tried to lodge complaint against him online.

The phone numbers they used to cheat me and others are as follows

My only request you is to take immediate action on them as they are spoiling armies image and losing trust of civilians, also stop them in cheating others.

He came in contact through olx site where he published for selling his activa 5g scooter, from there he contact me and asked me to first transfer rs 3150 to his paytm no. [[protected]], which i did, as have get rto papers, then i got a call to pay rs.15000/-, which put me to think. I spoke to second number where he guided that actually rto charges is rs.5150/-, so ask me to pay only rs.2000/- and convenience me that no need to pay any further amount untill vehicle reach at your place. Next day again i rec'd a call saying that vehicle has left for delivery but shall stop half way unless rs.2000/- been paid. That suspicious me and meanwhile i gone through net and learn that there are many cases available like this and indian army people are not taking any steps.

Further, i rec'd a call at noon informing that vehicle shall return if i don't pay rs.2000/-. I spoke to few people who have share the challan issued in their name and luckily with phone no`s.

As i have share my aadhar number and photo to them, i tried to lodge an f. I. R, but the same old government duty.. Come later in evening, come next day, etc

Also to build faith he has shared his army id, pan card id, canteen id, aadhar id, photographs in army uniform of himself and 3 ~4 persons other and by seeing this one cannot disbelief.

Dharamveer Singh give an add on olx on name of mahaveer Singh alto 800 @160000 and on negotiation deal finished on 150000 . He said that car will be transported by Indian army post and 20% of value would be charged nd it would be refundable. He said to pay on Google pay 30000 nd I didn't have sufficient balance on that a/c he said I would give 19000 and u would pay 11000 ..after I deal it I contact to relative he said that it is fraud nd I checked that IDs he gave me already viral on this site on name of Vikas Patel . Vikas Patel is bringing it from jaisalmer. When I called dharamveer that he has frauded to me he said that he would give 11000 nd he again tried to fraud with me to receive 11000 by Google pay this time I refused ..and all the documents I would attach

Sir, i got a call from +[protected] who wanted sell his scooty asap and advertised on olx. So i contacted him then he told me to paytm 3150rs on [protected] he told me he sent the scooty by indian army transport because as he mentioned he is an army man. At 4:20pm i received call from +[protected] for further paytm on [protected] of 8999 insurance amount. And that's how they cheat people on the name of indian army. Sir please take strick action against those people. So no one dare to fool people on the name of indian army. Indian army protect us so we easily believe on the name of army and this is how they cheat and play with innocent people.

I saw an advertisement on www.quikr.com car & bikes of honda activa 5g, while discussing on call at mobile no. [protected] (Phone location in haryana & language tone was haryanavi), the person informed me that he is abishek kumar from begusarai, bihar in indian army posted at lucknow airport and we finalized the deal on rs 20, 000 he will send the activa scooty by indian army transport service department and i have to pay the transportation cost of rs 3700/- (Paid to transporter mr. Hansraj, a/c no.[protected], ifsc code – pytm0123456) and the remaining amount have to be paid after the receiving of vehicle. But on the very next day the transporter called me from no.[protected] & again no. [protected] and told me to deposit the amount rs 9400/- before the delivery to start the gps for location and when i refused to pay the ammount before delivery he said it’s okay talk to your army men (Owner of vehicle – abishek kumar) later abishek convinced me to pay the amount after the payment the transporter again called me from no.[protected] and said that you have to pay rs 9400/- as per written on receipt then i again refused and told him that final payment will be made after delivery of item. This time i was very much sure that it is some kind of fraud network and then i scrolled the internet about service department of indian army and i found many cases about it. But by this time i had already paid that guy rs 3700/; i hope i will get my sweat earned money back by posting and complaining here. Kindly look into the issue while i am attaching some documents which he shared with me while the conversation.
I also verified his vehicle on patna rto and i found it was registered with the same name which made me believe in his words.

I saw an advertisement on olx and thought of buying a access 125 bike. A person who told his name as dilwar singh his mob - ([[protected]]). Told him as an indian army officer and asked me to pay the money via paytm to number so that he can get the bike released from office. To prove his identity - he sent me his aadhar card, csd canteen identity card, and his other pics (Attached). Considering the authenticity, i transferred him initial 10000/- via paytm. Then he said bike will be delivered to home within 24 hours, then the next day the delivery person named manjeet (Phone - [[protected]]) called me and he said to deposit money (2500) then again after one hour he call me n asking money (2500) after one hour again calling sir you have to pay (5000) then you will get the vehicle even i payed again asking me money 12500 that also i payed i than again asking me money this time i get angry why you asking me money always now this time i said without seeing the bike i wont pay the money, then they talked so rashly and forced me to pay the money. By this time, i realized that i am being fooled by this guy and i told him that i am going to file a complaint against him.

I saw this add on olx an indian army was selling ktm 390 for 40000 Name - Darshan Deepak dhone, ajay singh, omi devi, reena jaiswal who is a fraud and i have lost total amount of Rs - 160000/- through online transaction. He said he is an indian army officer so we trusted him he also showed his id card and receipt of the delivery he send. Indian army police please do something every min a person like me as been fooled in the name of indian army please take action as we are trusting then in the name of Indian army as they are there to protect us and not fraud you all the statement has been attached

First of all a great salute to our indian army from my bottom of heart. But a havildar named manjeet singh is doing such fraud things under the name of indian army. I know our army is protecting us from outer attacks and crimes but can't find such inner cyber crimes which some frauds are doing. Here i am sharing its recent contact deatails of today

After that he sent me a gate pass paper so trusted and waited upto 4 after we got call from delevry truck true caller showed that indian soldier[protected] he said pay 11200 and we called +[protected] this number of owner he said insurance charge wanna pay k we paid again delivery person called and said he done a mistake so send again 11200 after sending he said that send baki amount and finally we sent 10000 and finally the delevry person said that insurance expired so you have to pay 16500rs we got doubt and checked that we in google we found lot of compliments over here we lost 35500 rs

They saw my olx ad and immediately agreed on the price... I got a transaction request of 3000 rs. And they said accept it and put your pin you will receive the amount. I checked it and i had some doubt so i told him to send an id. He sent two ids also told me to talk to his commanding officer. His co told me that it's ok just pay it. Later i checked this thread and i was saved.
He told me his brother would pick my table for sale tomorrow. He specifically told me he is in pulwama and i also gave him extra 500 off.
This gang is very dangerous and they are using our brave soldier's lives to their own benefit

I saw his add on olx. Of honda dio which is still active. He gave me an offer of rs 20k. He gave me his id, courier details everything so i trusted him. So i gave him half payment he told me tht i will get the parcel in 3hrs next 2hrs delivery boy calls me and asls my address also says for the security amount of 7100. And when i sent him this amount he said me that the army courier page is not loging on, so he told me to make full payment. I thought courier boy has already arrived at my city so does the phone. So i made the full payment and then he told me that i have made the payment of security in a wrong way. I should have done two transactions of 5000 and 100. So he told me to do it once more totally i paid 40100. But this time i didn't trusted him and refused. So i asked him all the refund he laughed he told 7day refund and didin't received my call afterwords. +[protected] this is his current number. This man using manjeet singh identity. He is fooling people. I don't know how many people got fooled. But i was careful he contacted me and forced me to buy please and all. I didn't buy and i had a doubt and just to checked in google weather he is fraud or not. Unfortunately he was a fraud. So people be careful if this number in olx or in fb seller is using the name manjeet sing. Please take action on him frauds like him must be stopped

Sir, I was your student of BCA in 2012 year and my enrollment number is 10A4720329. I was submitted all required documents and fees but I didn't received my convocation certificate in my mentioned address. So please provide my certificate early as possible. Today, i've been victim of cyber crime via olx. I did a big mistake by making a deal for activa 4g vehicle with a person named gulab chand brispati who claimed himself an indian army of rs. 19000. He asked me to make a token money payment worth rs. 5000. As i refused to make any payment and asked him to make payment only after meeting him and seeing the vehicle, he told me there are already some people are willing to submit the token money and afterwords he won't be able to give me the vehicle at any cost. Mistakenly i paid 5000, after which he asked me to make payment of rs 14000 more in order to make me available vehicle documents, i did that as well. Then he said that he didn't received the money and asked me to transfer him 10000 more, then i told him i'll only be able to transfer 4000. After that he switched off his mobile number. There was one more person who was in contact with me during this time who was a courier person and his mobile was also switched off after this. I believe only olx is responsible here for all of my miseries as i trusted the app and now is the result of my trust.
