Hi,
I had renewed a tax saver fd in killipalam branch on 25/01/2016 for next 5 years. The official had given me renewal marked in my fd receipt for next five years. After 1 year, fortunately, i checked my fd details through internet banking and it was displaying like the tax saver fd was not renewed, i have checked this with bank through phone, they reverted like may be due to technical reason.
Last month i visited branch and enquired about this, the officials reverted like due to some system upgrade at that period they have not given the instruction to system for renewal and my deposit remains as dead there and they cant do anything, i need to close it and withdraw money and put as a new fd.
I had taken it with the current branch manager and she had taken the case very lightly and reverted no way to resolve with out any loss for me. The fd amount is only 73000 and may be due to that and she had reverted like even though their mistake, i need to suffer the loss.
My question is, as a customer why should i suffer for their mistake?
