      My wife G.Kamala issued a cheque which was returned by the Srinagar Colony Branch, Saidapet, chennai-15 on 3/7/2017. For this the bank charged Rs.590 which is too excessive. I am a prized customer of this branch and if the branch told me I would have transferred the meagre shortfall from my SB acct to my wife's acct to make up. This basic courtesy by the branch is lacking. I request for refund of the excess charges. Earlier Cheque return charges used to be Rs. 100 only. S.Gopalan

            I am Manish Jha, an account holder in IOB. My a/c no is 15670######3974. Yesterday one of your staff (Cashier) at samastipur(Bihar) branch refused to take coins from me, as i have to deposit some amount of money which contains coins also. First he refused to accept the coins later on misbehaved with me in front of everyone including the Branch manager. I did not expect such things from bank staff. Initially I want to lodge an FIR but my friend suggested to complain with you guys. So if you can help me regarding this then please intervene in this matter or if you can't then also tell me directly in written form.

                I am S.Anbarasan having an savings a/c in the Indian Overseas Bank at Tirupattur Branch Code (1884) at Vellore district in Tamil Nadu My Account No:[protected] .

                I had withdrawn an amount of Rs. 10, 000 on 09th June 2016 from an as such I am unable to draw money from ATM in KVB at Asiriyar Nager machine due to sever problem it shown to me that session is time out against my request of drawing money of Rs-10000, But my money will be deducted from my account, but the second try was successful and i could withdraw the said amount.

                but when i checked the balance from the other atm after an hour the balance was deducted from my a/c.

                sir i have already given the complain to the IOB Bank at Tirupattur branch but till now no any reply come not the money .

                  An incident to be informed for rectification

                  I have been visited this after noon indian overseas bank at porto-novo branch (Parangipettai) which is located in cuddalore district where i am having nre savings account, following periodic rbi announcement to update customer information to their account details
                  Regarding that several times i visited to the branch i did get right forms and information finally i met the branch manager he accepted what i have already filled a form who reviewed necessary attachment and signed after that he said leave it to a men staff who says which can be done 10am to 12pm only, i told him you update as you like but just receive application from my hand then he started to write a challan rs 100/= for kyc updating

                  As a customer why should i have to pay for; the kyc full form is know your customer the bank required details from customer only that's all

                  The account was as primarily operated long back but now rarely operating since no good service prompt, alternately i have opened and operating nre accounts with icici and kvb banks (I am having deposits, housing loan etc..)

                  I am also an investor with the bank holding 5000 equity shares average price rs125/= huge lose compared to current market price 24.7 which depending on bad performance it's an example service they providing to customers

                      I purchased a product from newegg using iob visa platinum debit card on 12th july and it has been refunded subsequently on the next day itself. The amount has yet to be credited in the account. When i contacted newegg regarding the delay, i was provided with a payment authorization code and it is upto the bank to credit the money. I have been trying to contact iob for the past few days. Everytime, i'm provided with a number [protected] to which everytime i try, its always busy or the call gets unanswered. I'm still waiting for a reply from them to my email.

                        The vendor has returned by way of refund on 31 may 2017, to my account with iob. These amounts have not yet been credited to my account. I requested to refund the amount to my bank account and i received a mail stating that it will be refunded within 7-10 days, its been almost 30 days but i didn't get any refund. I have attached a screenshots of invoice receipt, payment made through debit card and cancelation notice.

                        I have received a e-mail from them

                          This is nistha badshah. I have qualified the entrance exam for study m. Tech at vanasthali bidhyapeeth (Rajasthan) and for that i require loan upto 4 lakh. I have my account in iob bank so i reached at branch (Mathura) for taking loan. And as it is under norms that their is no interest and no security needed to take education loan upto 4 lakhs. But the bank is not agree to this point and they are ready to give loan at 11% interest rate. And my last date of depositing fee is 03-july-2017 and my financial condition is not so strong.

                                  We have deposited cheque on 08.06.17, bank guys told clearance will take 10days,
                                  We have approached today 19.06.17, still not cleared, manager said we cannot say when it will be cleared either on 21.06.17 or may not be!!! We cannot say

                                  Are they running grocery!, not respecting people.
                                  10 yrs before this bank was good, now it is the worst, you can investigate their approach with the customers.
                                  They are not respecting, using rubbish forcible words to customers as such it is their money.

                                  I am an nri customer, due to thier approach already i have shifted my account to hdfc which is no.1! In our area. Best customer service support

                                  Please note that the party who has issued the cheque to us told that, he cannot keep fund in his account more than a week,

                                  If the cheque is retuned i will keep the concern who is lazy in doing the process and will take necessary legal action.

                                  Fyi, we have done the similar cheque transactions with canara bank, it was cleared within 2 days.

                                  This approach is not the first time they are used to do to all the guys as no one is inquiring them.

                                    We are writing to bring to your notice the following facts:

                                    1) tollygunge women in need is a not-for-profit orgnisation and have bank accounts with iob dhakuria since 1999,.

                                    2) one of the bank accounts was designated for receiving foreign contribution, since 2006. Copies of our fcra registration, mentioning the designated bank account, is with the branch.

                                    3) we are not a large neo, but always had rs. 30 lakhs in our bank accounts.

                                    4) we had faced strong as well as weak managers - but they were all customer friendly.

                                    5) we find the present encumbent as non-cooperative and lacking knowledge in banking, for example

                                    In january 2017 the bank had received a foreign contribution for credit to our account. Surprisingly the bank sought our permission for crediting the same in our account. The manager did not know that it should be credited automatically to our account.
                                    Again, fds made out of foreign contribution could not be encashed through the designated account on maturity due to lack of knowledge of the local management.

                                    6) our decision to withdraw our accounts with iob is primarily due to the non-cooperation and ignorance of the present encumbent of the branch.

                                    Today, on 19.6.2017, we vide our letter of even date requested the branch manager to close the said fcra designated account and issue a closure certificate for forwarding the same to the ministry of foreign affairs. We had attached a certified copy of the resolution of the governing body - duly attested by officer bearer. Bank has declined to accept the same on the plea that the certified copy of the resolution should be signed by all three signatories operating the account.

                                    We find it objectionable and a clear violation of banking law. As in our opinion, extract of any resolution is to be certified by any one of the officer bearers as per prevailing law.

                                    Your intervention and early action is solicited as we have to inform the ministry of home affairs about the closure soon.
