Dear sir,

This complain is in regard of getting new connection of PNG from IGL. I have applied for new connection in May'10 & paid rs. 6000/- (5000 + 1000) for the same, this cheque got cleared from my a/c in Jun'10.
Now it's almost 1 yr about to come but i have not got my connection, however in my colony people are enjoying this facility. I'm regullarly calling customer care but no proper response getting, i have written several mails also but even IGL people are not bothered to revert on this.

Now i want to lodge a case against IGL for poor service, mental & financial harrasement, Pls. do the needful for same.

I have applied for connection of PNG in Vaishali, Ghaziabad in my wife name (Sweta Pandey).

Details are as follows:

Payment - 2 cheques for amounting 5000 & 1000 vide cheque No. 024523 & 024524 from Axis Bank - cheques are already cleared from a/c on 14/06/2010
Date - 2nd May 2010
Place - Stall put in our colony by future fuels

Address - 370,Ist floor,Sec-5,Vaishali,Ghaziabad

Till date no reply from your side & nothing done for providing connection.

Please let me know the status.

indraprastha png — new connection

Ihave been applied for new connection for inderaprastha png in the month of August 2010.Payment for new connection already cleared.But still not made my connection.Regarding my new connection I have been done lot of call.Helpline replied that yr complaint sending to yr local concerned department.

We also facing same situation since last Five Months
Dear Sir,
I am a senior citizon, retired from a Govt. Organization as Sr. Tech. Officer & shifted from New Delhi to my own flat at Vaishali, Ghaziabad, U.P. on June, 2008. I am facing great problem in getting LPG gas cylinder due to short supply. The pipe line for PNG has been laid in our flats & some residents, including our lower floor neighbour, are using the same for the last one year. I also want to get registration for PNG but after filling the form whenever I go to PNG office at Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, I found the officer concerned is not available, even his mobile is found to be switched off. Once I was able to make contact with him, he assured me that registration is at present closed & it will reopen after 1st of March 2012. Now too he is not available, one of his coleagues said it will reopen on April 2012.
I am very much in need of this facilitiy & when all the pipeline connections are ready, why should I be deprived of this. Kindly let me know if there is any other method to get registered for PNG connection i.e. On-line registration for our area, Vaishali, Sector-4. Thanking you.

Indraprastha Gas Ltd — No response to complaint no. 2012328437. On. 11/9/2012

I wish to get my meter location changed but nobody has visited my house since 11/9/20012. Complaint no. [protected]

Incorrect bill not being action upon for 2 months

IGL is high inefficient and cannot work upon an incorrect bill. Inspite of calling them 10 times and submitting online complaint to the number no action has been taken atll

    I have applied for new connection in the committment of the sales person that i will get connection in 4-5days after my customer ID would be generated.



    But once i called your customer care (Mr. Bhupesh Solanki, 18th May 2011 at 11PM), i came to know this is the 90days process and my expectation is incorrectly set by the sales guy.



    I would like to make complaints regarding the same as I applied this connection in the hope that i will get this connection on time while i am rennovating my house, but after listoning the process by your customer care executive, i really felt i am cheated by IGL and its respective distributor.



    I have no written committment from your company and your sales guy so I can not take any legal action. But I am very sad to say the first impression I received from IGL and its distributor as you guys are misusing your monopoly in this market and giving very bad services to customer. I am really need to re-think, whether I should go for stop check payment and no relation for such a unprofessional behaviour by your company.

      We had applied for new connection of IGL's Piped Natural Gas, through their Direct Marketing Agent : Future Fuels.

      The connection was applied for in January-2011. The deposited cheques have also been debited from our accounts.

        NO Connection After 15 Months

        I am Rahul,

        Have Applied for IGL connection In IGL Cheque Of 6000/- Given On March 2010.
        Now its June 11 company have not given connection instead of their commitment of 6 months. I have talked to all the big guns but nobody wants to talk even at the top level. Some of the concern whom I co-ordinated are Batacharya: [protected], Mr. Ahsan (not want to even listen a word) -[protected].

        I dont Know what to do... No System to Handle False Commitments...

            Hi, this is Ashish (CR no - [protected]). I reside at Vaishali, Ghaziabad. I paid 5000+1000 for

            new connection in March, 2010. It has been over one year and still I am waiting for installation

            at my home. Months back IGL staff has done digging in front of our building and 6 months back

            they left an outlet at our building main gate but since then no further progress is made. I have

            followed up multiple times at customer care over phone and not a single time they gave me

            satisfactory response. Every time I get a complaint number from them and a assurance for my home

            visit within a week. But I am sorry that no one at IGL complaints section seem to be serious to

            listen me. If this request reaches to any superior at IGL, please please pay some attention

            towards my complaints. I know sometime there are technical problems which delays the process but

            at least someone should revert to me with actual reason for delay and a tentative date by when I

            Its like a nightmare that i had applied for the connection 8 moths back, after rigorous follow ups today i recieves a cheque mentioning that despite visitng many times nobody found available at home.Its such a false and irresponsible remarks that i cannt think of. I think IGL and its outsourced companies are engaged in scam of collecting money form innocent people, they keep there money with them for 8-12 months earns interset and return the money back without any interest and without any connection.IGL top official should investigate this matter, but they too seeems to be involed as there is no transperency in the system and no consumer can reach top officials of IGL

              Have Applied for PNG cunnection In IGL Cheque Of 6000/- Given On Jan 2010.
              Now its April 11 Almost Over No Cunnection, No Cummnication ,No Cummitment. When Calling in Customer Care No Date Cummitment, only "As Soon As possible We Will Give the Cunnection" Standard Cumment Every Time ( already Called More then 10 times).
              Saying if you need Refund Go delhi inderprest Headoffice.

              I dont Know what to do... No System to Handle False Cummitments... Planning to Go Consumer Court After 15 Days.....

                Can you tell me how can one apply for PNG connection because as per official IGL Website their are 3 processes SMS, Call centre & online in past 3-4 month i had applied through all these channels but all went in vein. Now please guide me to get PNG connection at earliest???
                Now it is getting over my head how to get a connection???
                Should i bribe someone for this or it may happen on his own?

                    Digging under the wall

                    Sir,

                    IGL is laying new pipe lines at Vasundhara Ghaziabad residential areas.

                    They have laid the gas line on the wall of my house also. They Made a hole under the wall of 5/6 feet and the water drainage channel was also removed 45 days back.

                    All drain water of the street is going i to the wall and it may harm my house.

                    I request to IGL To get the drainage repaired at the earliest...

                      Sir,

                      I wish to bring to your notice regarding the less amount of bill forwarded to me without reading against BP No. [protected] for Rs. 915.57 vide invoice No.[protected] dated 01.03.2011, received by me on 10.3.2011. The fact was brought to the notice at Telephone No. 45195959 customer care No. on 11.3.2011 and was assured that the fresh reading will be done early. Accordingly the reading was done on 15.3.2011 and the reader assured for a fresh bill within 2 to 3 days. But to my utter disappointment, I would not hesitate in writing the irresponsible and lethargic attitude and working of IGL staff, who inspite my reminder on 23.3.2011 and 29.3.2011 failed to send me the fresh bill for payment. It is once again requested that an early action may kindly be taken in sending me bill for 4 months average reading, enabling me to clear the outstanding amount pending against me. Further it is submitted to take up with the officials responsible for deliberate ignoring the reading and recording on presumption. I am senior citizen aged 75 years and am aggrieved with the irreponsible attitude of your field staff.

                        PAthetic services. It is more than 9 months when the application for connection was given till now there is no installation. Even the cheques were cleared by Dec 9, 2010.
                        In the terms and condition, it is stated that coneection will be provided within 6 months. Even people applied after me also got the connection. Spoken 4-5 times to Mr. Pankaj Mahajan at IGL and Sachin (Distributor). Then also no response.
                        Mine BCN is [protected] , as provided by Mr. Pankaj Mahajan.
                        Now requesting you to refund my money amounting to Rs.5000/- + Rs.1000/- immediately with 2% monthly interest and also pay Rs.50000/- for mental torture and harassment.
                        Unable to understand how such persons are working in such a esteemed organisation who does not know who to talk in a professional manner.

                          I have applied cooking gas connection (PNG) from IGL before 1.5 yeras and paid Rs. 6000/- for this connection. But My Connection is still not installed at my home. I have made 40-50 time follow up to custome care but no action has been taken by IGL. Infact I have given written application to IGL office at Vasundhara to Rajeev on dtd. 02.02.11. And several time contact to Mr. Puri (Incharge- Vaishali) on phone. I have noticed that IGL enginners are take some extra money for quick installation.Which is totally out of pocket expenses. Their Engineers team is very corrupt and they are making money. One of IGL engineer is asking me for some extra money for installation. And this money is receipt less (i.e IGL will not provide any payment receipt against this money). I would like to draw every one attention. It would be very greatful If any body (of IGL authority) will take strong action in this regards.

                          Please look in this issue otherwise we are going to complaint to Consumer Court.

                            We had applied for a PNG (piped natural gas) connection for our house (Address: 9-B, Pocket-C, Phase-3, Ashok Vihar , Delhi -110052) in the name of the house owner Mrs Arpita Kolay.
                            A payment of Rs 5000/ was made for the same . The cheque was encashed by IGPL on 22nd May 2009. The details of the same were Cheque Number : 0501452; Bank : HDFC Bank, Udyog Vihar Branch.
                            Subsequently, no installation was made even after the fitters had come to our house and taken measurements. No action was taken after subsequent reminders to them.

                            I am awaiting either a refund or response on the complaint and so far none has been received

                              I use CNG in my car & get it filled every after 6-7 days from pump close to my house i.e. Mayur Vihar-1, Extension, Delhi-110091.Every time they cheat us like this & if you demand balance money they refuse on the pretext of not having the same.

                              1. I got my CNG filled on 5.3.2011 against cash memo no IGL/10/10/19045, Station Name : Mayur Vihar & amount was Rs 265.50 for 9.15 Kgs & they charged me Rs 206

                              2. Cash nemo no IGL/10/10/10990 Dated 12.3.2011, Station name : mayur Vihar & amount was Rs 253.60 for 8.74 Kgs & they charged Rs 254.

                              In both the cases they did not return the balance of Rs 0.50 & 0.40.

                              I also wish to bring this to their notice that both the times while filling the CNG machine stopped after filling only 5% of the gas & when i complained about it, they asked me to write complaint in the book WHICH I DID on todays date.

                              Will IGL check this complaint & also devise the method of Installing "Recharge Machines"as in the case of "Delhi Metro " where we can recharge the amounts in any denomination.

                              Even in case of METRO travel by card the amount debited is like Rs 16.20 for a normal value of Rs 18 ( since there is 10% discount )

                              Will IGL learn something from METRO or will keep sleeping & promote corruption.

                              Hi Mukul... regarding your concerns of balance amount.. do they provide you with the option of paying through Credit Card/Debit Card, in that case you would be charged exactly what the amount is.

                                Non-Installation of Gas Connection

                                I applied for domestic gas connection on 29.04.2009 (B.P.No.[protected]) with a cheque of Rs.5000/- as required for my residence stated below. But, my connection has not been installed till date. IGL staff/ contractors visited my premises from time to time (each time-New persons visited) and told me that they are in process of compleleting connections turn by turn,and they told me that my neighbored is mis-behaving with them that,s why they...

                                I am the resident of A-1,264-265, GF
                                sector-4 Rohini Delhi. I have deposited the money for the domestic PNG
                                connection vides registration no. 642732 on[protected] to M/S Indraprastha Gas Limited Delhi Business partner no. given to me is
                                [protected]. The remittance submitted by me has been realized soon
                                after deposition on 02/05/2010. There is no progress for installation
                                and making into operation the above connection.

                                Kindly take up the matter with Indraprastha Gas Ltd Delhi

                                  I applied for piped gas connection on 21/05/2010 with IGL New Delhi. Amount of Rs.6000 was also deposited which stands credited to the account of IGL in due course. I was assured that connection will be installed in three months. But I waited for more than last six months. Nothing happened. Then I started calling their customer care since 15th of January 2011. Till to day I have called them more than 25 times. But no result. Now I feel that I have been trapped in IGLs net by depositing 6000. I could have kept cool of my mind at less cost by simply getting LPG connection. IGL ands its customer service is the worst I have ever faced. Every time you talk to their customer care their standard reply is ---"complaint No... and your request is forwrded" probably to some dustbin. Can any one help me for suitable legal action against IGL. The appear to also not covered under RTI Act.

                                    I had booked for a Pipe Line Gas Connection in my flat G-180/F-2, Dilshad Colony vide application No. 168787 on 11 Jan 2009. A sum of Rs.5000/ was also deposited vide cheque No. 115581 on the same date. Now after a gap of about two years connection has not been given and the booking amount has been returned vide letter No. IGL/MKT/CG(DOM)/Refund dt 29 Oct 2010 (cheque No. 623841) with the remark that the gas connection could not be provided for some technical reasons. A sum of Rs.200/- has been paid as interest. In this connection I would like to bring the following facts for your consideration:-

                                    a). It is totally an injustice and harassment to a consumer that without assigning any valid reasons the connection has not been given. No one (staff/engineer) from IGL has come to my residence for physical checking the feasibility. Before making the refund physical checking of the premise should have been conducted in my presence and I should have been apprised of the problem personally.

                                    b). There are 08 flats in the building and all the 08 kitchens are in the same line. The main line can be taken from either from the shaft or through the staircase by putting a single hole at each level.

                                    c). There are several examples in our locality/colony where feasibility for connection is virtually not available.

                                    d). Interest paid by IGL is negligible. The interest for Rs.5000/- even at PF rate i.e. 8% for two years comes to Rs.800/-. The security amount should not have been collected at the time of booking and instead should have been collected at the time of giving connection only.

                                    e). Govt is vigorously exploring options for alternate fuel particularly for LPG where in a large amount is said to be given as subsidy. At this juncture abandoning of connection that too where ground level installation has been done is definitely a set back to both the consumer and the very purpose of reducing govt subsidy on LPG.

                                    In view of the above I request you to kindly reconsider my case and install the connection in my premises at the earliest. I will return the refunded amount of Rs.5200/- on getting a confirmation from your office. Copies of previous correspondences, application etc are enclosed.
