I have applied cooking gas connection (PNG) from IGL before 1.5 yeras and paid Rs. 6000/- for this connection. But My Connection is still not installed at my home. I have made 40-50 time follow up to custome care but no action has been taken by IGL. Infact I have given written application to IGL office at Vasundhara to Rajeev on dtd. 02.02.11. And several time contact to Mr. Puri (Incharge- Vaishali) on phone. I have noticed that IGL enginners are take some extra money for quick installation.Which is totally out of pocket expenses. Their Engineers team is very corrupt and they are making money. One of IGL engineer is asking me for some extra money for installation. And this money is receipt less (i.e IGL will not provide any payment receipt against this money). I would like to draw every one attention. It would be very greatful If any body (of IGL authority) will take strong action in this regards.

Please look in this issue otherwise we are going to complaint to Consumer Court.

    We had applied for a PNG (piped natural gas) connection for our house (Address: 9-B, Pocket-C, Phase-3, Ashok Vihar , Delhi -110052) in the name of the house owner Mrs Arpita Kolay.
    A payment of Rs 5000/ was made for the same . The cheque was encashed by IGPL on 22nd May 2009. The details of the same were Cheque Number : 0501452; Bank : HDFC Bank, Udyog Vihar Branch.
    Subsequently, no installation was made even after the fitters had come to our house and taken measurements. No action was taken after subsequent reminders to them.

    I am awaiting either a refund or response on the complaint and so far none has been received

      I use CNG in my car & get it filled every after 6-7 days from pump close to my house i.e. Mayur Vihar-1, Extension, Delhi-110091.Every time they cheat us like this & if you demand balance money they refuse on the pretext of not having the same.

      1. I got my CNG filled on 5.3.2011 against cash memo no IGL/10/10/19045, Station Name : Mayur Vihar & amount was Rs 265.50 for 9.15 Kgs & they charged me Rs 206

      2. Cash nemo no IGL/10/10/10990 Dated 12.3.2011, Station name : mayur Vihar & amount was Rs 253.60 for 8.74 Kgs & they charged Rs 254.

      In both the cases they did not return the balance of Rs 0.50 & 0.40.

      I also wish to bring this to their notice that both the times while filling the CNG machine stopped after filling only 5% of the gas & when i complained about it, they asked me to write complaint in the book WHICH I DID on todays date.

      Will IGL check this complaint & also devise the method of Installing "Recharge Machines"as in the case of "Delhi Metro " where we can recharge the amounts in any denomination.

      Even in case of METRO travel by card the amount debited is like Rs 16.20 for a normal value of Rs 18 ( since there is 10% discount )

      Will IGL learn something from METRO or will keep sleeping & promote corruption.

      Hi Mukul... regarding your concerns of balance amount.. do they provide you with the option of paying through Credit Card/Debit Card, in that case you would be charged exactly what the amount is.

        I applied for domestic gas connection on 29.04.2009 (B.P.No.[protected]) with a cheque of Rs.5000/- as required for my residence stated below. But, my connection has not been installed till date. IGL staff/ contractors visited my premises from time to time (each time-New persons visited) and told me that they are in process of compleleting connections turn by turn,and they told me that my neighbored is mis-behaving with them that,s why they (Mr.Abdul-[protected] & Mr.Atiq Khan-[protected]) will talk to their senior persons in IGL, but disappeared after giving some specific connections and I kept waiting for the same. I surprised to see that they gave the connection to my neighbored too who was creating problems. I complained /reminded to IGL (customercare.png @igl. co.in) vide e-mail to dated 19.02.2010, 05.04.2010 & 25.01.2011 for non-installation of connection. I contacted at customer care (Phone no.[protected] on 25.01.2011, and asked them about IGL's rules / guidelines for installation but they told me to visit IGL Bhawan at R.K.Puram, New Delhi. I personally went to the IGL's office to file the complaint in writing on 02.11.2011, but the officer on duty, Mr.Pankaj too was not having time to listen me, he simply receipted my complaint and told me he will talk to his senior person and let me know after 10 days the status of connection/ guidelines. Regarding utility services, any person can not instruct or create obstruction to / for IGL to give a connection from any out-let installed in the service lane, if any one do this, the IGL must take the help of the police. It is my sincere request to IGL to install my connection immediately.

        Non-Instalation of Gas Connection

        I applied for domestic gas connection on 06.12.2012 vide DD No.377237 for Rs.1000/-as required for my residence stated below. But, my connection has not been installed till date and staff of IGL reported connection is denied by given the reasons like that this is new connection and take time due to non availability of Meter in the qtr . Now 13 days has been elapsed but no suitable reply received from the contractor/IGL and nor my connection installed.

          sector-4 Rohini Delhi. I have deposited the money for the domestic PNG
          connection vides registration no. 642732 on[protected] to M/S Indraprastha Gas Limited Delhi Business partner no. given to me is
          [protected]. The remittance submitted by me has been realized soon
          after deposition on 02/05/2010. There is no progress for installation
          and making into operation the above connection.

          Kindly take up the matter with Indraprastha Gas Ltd Delhi

            I applied for piped gas connection on 21/05/2010 with IGL New Delhi. Amount of Rs.6000 was also deposited which stands credited to the account of IGL in due course. I was assured that connection will be installed in three months. But I waited for more than last six months. Nothing happened. Then I started calling their customer care since 15th of January 2011. Till to day I have called them more than 25 times. But no result. Now I feel that I have been trapped in IGLs net by depositing 6000. I could have kept cool of my mind at less cost by simply getting LPG connection. IGL ands its customer service is the worst I have ever faced. Every time you talk to their customer care their standard reply is ---"complaint No... and your request is forwrded" probably to some dustbin. Can any one help me for suitable legal action against IGL. The appear to also not covered under RTI Act.

              I had booked for a Pipe Line Gas Connection in my flat G-180/F-2, Dilshad Colony vide application No. 168787 on 11 Jan 2009. A sum of Rs.5000/ was also deposited vide cheque No. 115581 on the same date. Now after a gap of about two years connection has not been given and the booking amount has been returned vide letter No. IGL/MKT/CG(DOM)/Refund dt 29 Oct 2010 (cheque No. 623841) with the remark that the gas connection could not be provided for some technical reasons. A sum of Rs.200/- has been paid as interest. In this connection I would like to bring the following facts for your consideration:-

              a). It is totally an injustice and harassment to a consumer that without assigning any valid reasons the connection has not been given. No one (staff/engineer) from IGL has come to my residence for physical checking the feasibility. Before making the refund physical checking of the premise should have been conducted in my presence and I should have been apprised of the problem personally.

              b). There are 08 flats in the building and all the 08 kitchens are in the same line. The main line can be taken from either from the shaft or through the staircase by putting a single hole at each level.

              c). There are several examples in our locality/colony where feasibility for connection is virtually not available.

              d). Interest paid by IGL is negligible. The interest for Rs.5000/- even at PF rate i.e. 8% for two years comes to Rs.800/-. The security amount should not have been collected at the time of booking and instead should have been collected at the time of giving connection only.

              e). Govt is vigorously exploring options for alternate fuel particularly for LPG where in a large amount is said to be given as subsidy. At this juncture abandoning of connection that too where ground level installation has been done is definitely a set back to both the consumer and the very purpose of reducing govt subsidy on LPG.

              In view of the above I request you to kindly reconsider my case and install the connection in my premises at the earliest. I will return the refunded amount of Rs.5200/- on getting a confirmation from your office. Copies of previous correspondences, application etc are enclosed.

                I had applied for new connection in the name of on 26th April and my cheque for 6000 were cleared in the next month. My BP No is- [protected] and since then till date I am still waiting for the connection which has now turned into nightmare..

                I have contacted to customer care for number of times but was disappointed. Then I contacted GAIL office in Noida (Gijor) where I came to know that my BP has been allotted to some one else and bills are getting generated on this. This is an illegal act of work and company like IGL is not expected to do such a fraud with customer. I also contacted Mr. Pranav ([protected]) and Bhaskar ([protected]) a number of times but they have misguided me that my connection will be done in a day or two but the fact is that it was not possible as per the records my BP no was already active and company has cheated me by allotting this to another person without checking my details.

                Company is also not providing me a letter that my BP has been given to some other person so that I can go to consumer court against this fraud.

                Please take appropriate action and I should be compensated for this as this is entirely fault of company for which I am suffering.

                    My father has applied for a pipe natural gas connection (png) with indraprastha gas limited on 28/03/2010 under reg.form no.910205 customer id bp[protected] by paying of Rs.6000/-
                    But very sorry to say that till time & date connection was not activated as my neghibours connection are activated we have made several compalint to thier customer care every time they gave us a simple answer there is some techinal problem & will be reseolved soon agian & again same repeated answer i requested them to provide the e-mail id/contact no of any senior person who can listen & resolve my problem but they failed to provide me any information i have wriiten several mails to customercare /sent hard copy thru courier to thier HO but no body is ready to listen.

                      SIR THERE ARE FIVE APPARTMENTS IN EAST ARJUN NAGAR, HANS CHITRAKOOT NAVRACHNA JEEVAN BIMA AND ANUPAM WHO WERE FIGHTING FOR PNG CONNECTION SINCE 2007. IGL HAS STARTED THE WORK FROM HARGOVIND ENCLAVE TO VIVEK VIHAR BUT THESE APPARTMENTS WERE IGNORED THAN IN FEBRUARY 2010 SOME OFFICIAL FROM D S ENTERPRISES DMA OF IGL CAME SUDIED THE AREA AND TOLD THE RESIDENTS THAT WORK WILL BE STARTED SHORTLY BUT NOT DONE THAN EXECUSE OF NON GETTING THE PERMISSION FOR ROAD CUTTING WAS TAKEN DUE TO COMMOMWEALTH GAME WAS TAKEN. NO OF LETTERS EMAILS AND LETTER TO MISTER AND CHAIRMAN PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE FAILED TO MOVE IGL. THEY ARE TOTALLY NON RESPONSIVE NO OFFICER IS TELLING AT LEAST WHEN THE WORK WILL BE STARTED. GREAT INJUSTICE AND DISCRIMINATION WITH THESE FIVE APPRTMENTS WAKE UP IGL NOW

                        This complaint is regarding improper/untidy work done by IGL, contractors. Hole/Pits were made for laying gas pipeline which is a good thing, but the way work was done is pathetic. As you can see in the picture there is no place people can park their cars in back lane and lot dust is there. If you look at the first picture, the pit not completely filled and kept open. Every day someone falls in this pit at night. Please look into this matter. email [protected]@yahoo.com

YOUR CALL CENTRE SAYS IT WOULD BE ABLE ANSWER MY QUERY ABOUT INSTALLATION ONLY AFTER 10 DAYS, 3 DAYS HAVE ALREADY PAST.

                              i understand that you have laid extensive igl pipe lines in Rohini. it is also understand that in Sector-8, Rohini, piped gas is being supplied to some pockets only. WE RESIDENTS FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THAT GASED PIPE LINE SUPPLY IS NOT MADE TO POCKET C-8, repeat, POCKET C-8,.

                              can you tell us when you are going to supply igs gas through pipe-line to POCKET C-8, SECTOR-8, ROHINI.

                                I have applied for the gas connection in our house G-27,Vikas puri, New Delhi-110018. I have deposited Rs. 6000/- for gas connection vide receipt no. 15783 dated 30.5.2010. All the connections in our colony has been installed but in our home it is still not installed.
                                The engineer appointed in our area by IGL is Sh. C.M. Sharma.
                                Please look into the issue very urgently as it is getting delayed after the deposition of money since it has been 6 months. Does it take this much of time even after completing all the formalities?
                                Also mention what else is required for the action to be taken as soon as possible as in my knowledge I have completed all the formalities required for the installation.

                                Dear Sir,
                                My B.C. No. is [protected] Booked in January, 2011.
                                This is to bring your kind notice that installation of pipeline and meter connection in my residence E-77, Beta-I, Greater Noida completed one month ago but gas supply is not provided till today 4-6-2011 inrespect of my several reminders on your consumer care no.[protected]. This can be verified vide first complaint no. PRJ[protected] dt.[protected], 1-6-2011 and 3-6-2011 respectively.
                                This is also bring your kind notice that your workers damaged PVC pipeline running from second floor kitchen to first floor by drill machine and repairing work not completed in drilling walls after several requests.
                                It is therefore requested that necessary orders be issued for providing supply of gas and completion of repair works at the earliest.

                                  Today, Again I had a discussion with Mr. Akhlakh Ahmed on your Tel. No.[protected] your customer care unit because every time a new person is available on line, again I had explained him the history of my request & again he told me that he will again forward the request. He also explained me that he don't have powers to do more than this.

                                  This is to bring to your kind notice that I have invested some amount of money for a LPG Pipeline Conexion to be installed at my residence since November., 2009. The Pipeline work for this conexion has been installed & completed around four months back but not any flow of Gas till date.

                                    Today more than one month has been passed but i have not received the same.

                                      We, the residents of DG-3 block vikaspuri, New Delhi (more than 300 residents) have applied with Indraprastha gas Ltd for pipe gas line connection in the month of June 2010 and paid an advance of Rs 6,000/-.

                                      They have done only some digging work in the colony and after that nothing has been done. It is more than 4 months we have not heard from them the status of the connection.

                                      It is requested the concerned authority to take up the matter on priority.

                                        I applied for a new connection with IGL through Future Fuels on 16/05/2010 Form No. 917772 and Receipt No: 101634. A large number of flats in my complex have been given connection, but whenver i ask the site incharge he says your name is not on list. I contacted the Project Manager Sh. Dilip Kapoor, a very couteous person tried to help but could not. He then asked me to contact marketing person, i contact mr. Subashish he forwarded my call to another person Mr. Nahar singh. He was able to locate the problem and promised me that connection will be released by 22nd September. But till date i am still waiting.
                                        I do not know on what basis they are giving new connections has any seratum followed or it is just randomly provided. No procedure followed while giving connection. I feel fed p calling again and again and people just forwarding calls here and there. The customer compliant dept. is also useless as for last more than 1 month i have been calling them regularly.
                                        A complete mismanagement in giving PNG.

                                        Sir/Madam,
                                        I beg to say, we applied PNG connection in the month of October, 2018 and connection registration fee given Rs. 275 through cheque in the month of September, 2018. My BP no is [protected].
                                        But till date no connection installed in my home, we complain many time in customer care, they told your complaint forward to concern deptt. We regularly contact with customer care last 4-5 month but no positive response from igl.
                                        I request you, please do the needful.
