Dear Sir,

This refer to my letter dated 1.9.11 sent to you by DTDC Courier on dated 1.9.11 regarding the above subject matter but I have not received your reply from your side.
I am very sorry to say you that no PNG connection was installed at my above subject address since last 21 months in spite of my various follow-up with customer care department through telephone, e-mail and even my personal visit to your office at Bhika Ji Cama Place and sector-9, R K Puram office.

I have deposited the Cheque No. 832201 dated 30.1.10 for Rs.6,000/- vide your receipt no. 1817 dated 2.2.10 and registration no. 617267 and BP No. [protected] which was cleared from my account dated 3.5.10 but till date no connection was installed at my residence.

I have complained hundreds of time to customer care but no action was taken beside false assurance on installation of connection. I have lodged complaint with Reference ID : PRJ[protected] dated 14.7. 11 and received the SMS on dated 27.7.11 the your complaint is closed successfully without taking any action. I have again lodged complaint with Reference No. PRJ[protected] dated 14.9.11 and the same SMS received on dated 23.9.11 that your complaint closed successfully without taking any action. This is really the act of same full.

I hope that you will look into the matter and take action for installation of PNG connection at residence and oblige me.

Indraprastha Gas Limited. — Long delay in connection of PNG at Flat No. 976, Akshar Dham Apartment, Sector - 19, Pocket-3, Dwarka New Delhi-110075.

Dear Sir,

I am very sorry to write to you that no PNG connection was installed at my residence at Flat No. 976, Akshar Dham Apartment, Sector - 19, Pokcet - 3, Dwarka New Delhi-110075 since last one & half year in spite of my various follow-up with customer care department and through telephone, e-mail and even my personal visit to your office at Bhika Ji Cama Place and Sector - 9, R K Puram office also.

I have deposited the cheque no. 832201 dated 30.1.10 for Rs.6,000/- vide your receipt no. 1817 dated 2.2.10 and registration no. 617267 and BP No. [protected] which was cleared on my account darted 3.5.10 but till date no connection was installed at my residence.

I have complained hundreds of time to customer care but no action was taken beside false assurance of installation of connection.

I am the regular viewer of CNBC Awaz channel and see the public grievances were taken by your cannel to the concerning authorities to solve the problems.

I hope with your affords & consciousness of higher authority can take immediate action for installation of PNG connection at my residence.

Your DMA Yogmaya & co was issued a cheque of Rs1000.00 on 19.06.2011and subsequently a pay order of Rs 5000.00 was deposited at your Bhicaji cama office on 08.08.2011 for a PNG connection at A 210 SF,Vikaspuri New Delhi. It is almost 9 months and most of our neighbors have got their connection for quite some time.Kindly check with your DMA expedite the delay

    n.a. — Inordinate Delay in installation

    I have applied for a land line and broad band connection about 15 days back. At the time of filling form your sales executive Mr Sanad had promised me that the connection will be installed within 3 days but till date it is not installed. Moreover today after tiring followup I came to know that till date the sanction for laying wire line is not obtained by your sales department and atleast a week more will be required for installation. I am surprised by attitude of your sales department. I am asenior govt officer and posses total 6 Airtel connections for my office and family. The nos are-

    Indraprastha Gas Ltd — delaying connection

    My name is Abdul Khalik, residing at R-315, Mahagun villa, sect-4,Vaishali,GZB, having some complaint against Future Fuels, who are direct Marketing Agent of indrprastha Gas Limited that I paid the amount for getting PNG connection on 22/08/2010 vide receipt No.118311 and Form No.934171 in my name Abdul Khalik. My complaint is that you provided gas almost all houses except some houses including me. Several times I contacted indraprastha gas people, for your reference please note the complaint ref Nos 360277 ,363474 and PRJ[protected], but things has not be done by concern party. I came to know this is the style of nature of IGL, they will never complete their work properly. my demand is finish the balance piping work and get PNG connection to my home with immediate affect.

        THIS REFERS OF BP NO [protected], THE AMOUNT OF 6000 RUPEES was deposited in October 04th 2011, Still IGL connection is pending, In our apartment the connection was installed in every flats except mine. I was the 1st person in the our apartment, who had applied for IGL GAS CONNECTION. Since more than 3 months I was requesting for gas connection, but I don't know why such delay from IGL.
        I have lodged so many complaint y telephonic and mails to IGL but no action has been taken place,

        Dear Sir,

        Greetings of the day!!!

        This is to inform you that I booked my gas pipeline on[protected] whose registration no. is-35043.Payment was made by cheque (no, -208045-icici Bank).More than six months have been passed but pipe line connection has not been provided to me so far. People who booked this connection alongwiive me me have got their connection fixed but why my connection has not been provided? kindly give me a valuable reason for the same and look into the matter as soon as possible.

        I will be greatly obliged if you provide me the connection as soon as possible.

        This is to bring to your notice that I registered in Indraprastha Gas Limited for the connection of PNG in my House. All the charges and payments have been already made by me with all the documents on 12 July, 2013. Since then, almost 1 year has passed but till now, no one has come from your side to setup the connection. Also, we have also applied for a re-request but even then, we haven't recieved a proper response.So i request you to look into the matter and make up the setup of the connection as early as possible.Following are my particulars.

        Dear Sir,

        I am highly disappointed with the IGL delays for PNG connection. Its been 16 months from the date the security amount was submitted post survey by the department and now the department says the money will be refunded without interest. Today IGL active connections are there in the society and now the contractor has to put longer line within the society. My IGL account number is [protected].

        Request instruct IGL / Ministry to complete the installation ASAP.

          1. This company is in unique position of monopoly - creating own terms to deal with customers.

          2. I have deposited money and application for Piped Gas Connection @ my home 6 months ago.. No installation is done yet and no update received

          3. I wanted one extra point for geyser - this was denied (on phone). However, they have provided same in our society.. Why differentiation??

          4. Phones are busy - no regional manager who we could talk to.

            My name is Shyne Thomson and I was a tenant at 44-E Pocket-F Mayur Vihar Phase-2. PNG was installed at this address last year in the name of Raj Kumar on the request of Landlord. We were asked to surrender our Gas cylinder if we wanted to use PNG. As we are tenants and not all house would have PNG we decided to keep our Gas Cylinder.

            After the installation a Representative from Intraprastha Gas Ltd came for meter reading and took the wrong reading. Instead of 0.26 he took the reading as 260 gms. We received a bill asking to pay the charges after which we raise a complaint with IGL for wrong meter reading and asking to waive off all the charges as PNG was never used. Another Rep came after we raised the complaint and took the correct reading and confirmed that it would be rectified and charges waived off. But instead we received a bill with late payment charges. This process went on for 7-8 months. The bill kept increasing and now its at Rs. 5057.79. I asked several times for supervisor but every time they would give me some or the other excuse. Sometimes supervisor is not available or busy on another call, most of the times the server is down or working slow. I might have raised atleast 7-8 complaints. The excutives are dumb and don't understand. They keep asking me why I got PNG installed when I did not wanted to use itand I keep telling them that I am a tenant and the landlord got it installed. Now that I have left the this house and moved to bangalore my landlord is asking me to settle or pay the bill. If I don't do so then he would not return our security deposit of Rs. 7000. I called IGL yesterday and spoke to Pravin Shukla who asked me to call the next day as there are no supervisors in night shift and the server was down. Today I spoke to Rakesh Ranjan who said the server was slow and asked to call later, then with Mala Joshi, Deepak Negi, Manish Gupta, Jay Kumar who kept pushing me around. I am sick and tired and want to get it over with. This is our hard earned money and we are not ready to pay for something we never used. This is the worst service I have ever got and am sick and tired of explaining and making the agents understand the issue everytime I call. Few of the complaint numbers are mentioned below:

                I requested for a domestic gas connection (PNG) in March 2011 and my cheque was cleared in April 2011. It’s Dec, 03 2011 and I never received a call from them. After continuous follow up over the phone along with 2 visits to the IGL office in RK Puram over the last 6 months, I am disappointed and hopeless and NOW FEEL that my connection would NEVER be installed.

                Making matters worse are useless telephone operators, they always give us time of a week, and don't know the escalation authority. I believe the govt authorities feel that people have no work (like them) and love people to just come again and again at their office. (Sorry about the above comment, but that's reality)

                  I had a Piped Natural Gas Connection for Indraprastha Gas Limited with Business Partner no. [protected] at Flat No. 106-D, J&K Pocket, Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 110095. Consequent upon selling the house in November 2010, I have got the connection terminated. I had applied for refund of the security deposit of Rs. 5000/- after adjusting dues if any, in December 2010. While applying for refund, I had intimated my new address at which the refund was to be sent. After 2-3 months, when I inquired about the refund through their customer care (telephone), I was told that the refund was already sent at my earlier address. I needed to visit their office at R.K. Puram for further quiries. When I visited, I was told to submit a fresh application for refund along with residence proof. Since I was not told to bring residence proof, I was not having it handy. I visited their office again on 29.09.2011 and submitted an applicaton for refund along with proof of my new residence. In the first week of November, contacted their customer care and I was told that refund has been sent. When I asked when this was sent, I was told that customer care people do not have such details. It has been a year since I terminated the connection and almost two months since I applied for refund again but so far nothing has materialised. I would request the authorities to look into the matter and do the needful to refund me the security deposit which is long overdue.

                  IGL is playing with our hard earned money. These Government staff does not understand the value of our hard earned money.

                  Even after refusal of PNG connection a long time back I am still waiting for my refund. Customer care department is pathetic and moreover these people makes false promises at the time of selling new connections.

                    Till date , we have not get the connection..

                      I Have booked IGL gas connection vide BP No.[protected] in the month of December'10 and also deposited money of Rs.6000/- but till dated no connection has been installed. In our block IGL has installed many connections. I have called up the contractor regarding this so many time but all is in vain. I have also lodged complaints at IGL customer care on 26th Sep and again on 7th November vide complaint no. PRJ[protected] but nothing has been done so far.

                      May I request the concerned authority to look into it and install the connection asap.

                        This is to bring to your kind notice that I had applied for new connection in the month of March 2011 along with payment of Rs. 6000/-.

                        Till now my connection has not been activated. In this regard, I made a complaint on Customer Care Number at[protected] on 27th Aug, 2011. I was given the compliant no. as PRJ[protected]. I was assured that my connection will be activated within 45 days of logging this complaint. Today on 08th Nov 2011, the connection has still not been activated.

                        Requesting you to kindly look into the matter and confirm when the connection can be activated.

                          I am told that the online payment on September 30, 2011 to “Indraprastha Gas Limited” through “Visa Pay Bill Facility” was not processed successfully. It has been deducted from my HDFC bank Account using my debit card. I have confirmed transaction receipt. IGL and HDFC Bank both are playing a game with my emotions?
                          I had to pay this IGL bill again on Oct 14 2011 to avoid any penalty or disconnection by Indraprastha gas Limited.
                          Who and How will pay me back for the extra payment of Rs. 359.18?
                          I have written to IGL many times, but being sole distributor of PNG, IGL is behaving like a Govt organization and not paying heed to my requests/complaints.

                          I had paid IGL Rs. 359.81 online through "Visa Bill pay" on Sept 30, 2011, but it has not been credited yet in my IGL Account (BP no. [protected]).

                          Then I had to make duplicate payment online through IGL Website on October 14, 2011 of same amount Rs. 359.81 to avoid any penalty by them. Ref: MCIT[protected].
                          Hence, I have made them double payment for my September bill of Rs. 359.81, but they have not responded and not credited my double payment.
                          I am out of Rs. 359.81.

                          I have been calling and there phone is not being answered. I have been writing and they are not responding.
                          What am I to do?

                            I have applied for PNG Gas connection for my residence in the month of
                            June, 2011 ist week vide B.P.No. [protected].

                            Both the cheques issued by me bearing No. 621627 and 621628 for
                            Rs.5000.00 and Rs. 1000.00 had already been debtied to my account.

                            As per your policy I am supposed to be provided by the connection
                            within 3 months, but it is more than 4 month nothing had been done.

                            For the last 15 days I am in regular touch with your customer care and
                            also registered a complaint vide No. PRJ[protected] dated 29.09.11. But
                            I am sory to inform you that till date no action had been taken by
                            your company.

                            It is therefore once again requested to provide me the PNG connection
                            without further delay.

                              I applied for PNG connection in March 2011. My IGL business partner number is [protected]. In 3rd week of Aug, 2011(even IGL promise for 90days) IGL staff started installation and put hold on last week of Aug due to shortage of meter. I raised complaint on 6th Sept with reference number: PRJ[protected] and this complaint closed without any action. After lots of call and follow up on around 5th Oct staff installed meter but the connection was not started.

                              After this event again I followed up with Dwarka branch many times but did not get satisfactory response except many misguidance/dates/promises. They are saying there is leakage in line and nobody is ready to come and fix it. Our request/connection is going in black hole.

                              We do not know what is way forward and whom to contact.

                                Dear IGL

                                This feedback/complaint is related to some serious behaiourial issue of Mr Mrityunjoy ,member of installation of LPG lines , at my flat C-2/402 ,Lotus Pond Apptts , Vaibhav Khand , Indirapuram , Ghaziabad ( BP No [protected] ) .
                                At the afternoon of 26th Sept , Mrityunjoy came to our flat ,as my wife and my old mother was alone at the house and having lunch & they obviously asked him to come half an hr/ hour later , Mrityunjoy immediately started misbehaving & shouting very loudly to mife Shweta .. he even hurled abusive language to her in front of the supervisors & other neighbours , as if his ego was hurt , when told to came later ..
                                I sincerely request you not to send these ill mannered & illiterate people & supervisors ( who was standing dumb like spectator ) to my residence ( even to any other flats as well , I would suggest ) , as these guys represent IGL .. and if they misbehave it would tarnish your image only ... The supervisors looked totally dependent on him .. and did not utter a single word initially . After few minutes , when the supervisor asked him to keep quiet , he even shouted on him and the supervisor looked really helpless

                                I am shocked at this very incident , which has happened 1st time in my life .
                                i don't demand any apology from anyone .. just a request not to send these people to my house anymore ..
                                This incident has shaken my & my family's confidence level and has put a serious questionmark on the credibility of Human resource management of IGL - where there is no respect of customer , you would eventually lose on all fronts .

                                I , myself , is a DGM in Tata teleservices ( DOCOMO ) & knows the value of word of mouth put up by customers . The same gentlemen had similar issues with other neighbours as well ( but i don't want to Hope you would take serious note of my feedback and do something about training your people ,so whenever they go go somewhere - they talk well in a descent way ( if not very polished ) , as they carry IGL's image in the market .
                                I can live with my old LPG cylinder , but can't tolerate any one to tarnish my self respect !

                                  I have been allotted following Govt Residential Accommodation on 28 Aug 2011:-

                                  Qtr No.31, 3rd Floor, Block K-6, Sector-2, DIZ Area, New Delhi.

                                  Accordingly, I submitted all relevant documents on 3rd September, 2011 alongwith Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- vide BD No.769654 dated 2 Sept 2011 for new connection at above Govt Qtr. At the time of submission of above papers at IGL HQrs, Sector-9, RK Puram, New Delhi, it was told to me that the connection will be made functional within next 2-3 days. It is sorry to mention that inspite of my best efforts by approaching various IGL Official, PNG connection is still to be installed at my above said accommodation. An early and favourable action is requseted.

                                  This is to inform you that I had applied for new domestic gas connection with IGL through Future Fuels on 30th April, 2011 vide receipt no. 985352 and immediately deposited the payment of Rs. 5000/- vide cheque No. 410007 & for Rs. 1000/- vide cheque No. 410008 drawn on HDFC Bank, Vasundhara Branch. Both the cheques has been cleared from my account on 17/06/2011.

                                  Even after 8 months we still haven’t got the connection. There is a Huge delay in connection from Future Fuels end. In our locality, people has been given connection who applied after us (in May’ 2011). We had been told that we’ll get the connection within 6 months.

                                  I don’t know on what basis they are giving new connections as no procedure is being followed by them while giving the connections.

                                  The contact number mentioned on the receipt were never picked up. Even if you complaint on mail, you’ll never get any reply.

                                    I booked PNG connection through M/S mass Management Services Pvt. Ltd., vide receipt no. 6598 dated 28th March, 2011, copy attached as “Annexure A”, for your ready reference.
                                    The Registration number 619302 was also granted and the payment in full of Rs 6,000.00 was also paid, detailed in “Annexure A”.
                                    I also exchanged mails with your customer care department, which noted my complaint vide reference number “PRJ[protected]” but thereafter no news, no action and one fine morning received a SMS that the complaint is resolved, whereas the fact remains that I still await connection even today.
                                    As explained in my current mail annexed as “Annexure B” that in our society the pipeline is already laid and IGL only need 3 to 5 feet pipe to terminate it to our kitchen. There are working connections in my neighborhoods, but nobody in IGL seem to be interested to pay any heed to this.
                                    Now finally after having seen the easy going attitude of IGL Customer Care people I am compelled to approach your good self to issue instructions deem fit to expedite this connection.

                                    I have a complaint against Ibdraprastha Gas Ltd. I had applied for piped gas connection about 3 and a half years ago. My Business Partner No. is [protected]. I have not yet got my connection even after such a long time. I have made several written complaints, requested on phone number of times, But nothing is working. The company employees have come to my house a number of times to make survey but after making survey they promise to return soon but never come back. I have got their receipt of written complaints also. I am simply tired of complaining. I do not know what to do now.

                                      It is regretful to put on record that inspite of repeated phone calls to the consumer care number[protected] there has been repeated message of " Your call is valuable ......" with no response. All the phone numbers stated overleaf of bill also don't respond. I feel hassled that I am unable to register my complaint. Even phone number[protected] does not exist. I have already made the payments of the bill Invoice No.[protected] but it is reflecting in the subsequent bills and I am unable to register my complaint. I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authority. to respond to the complaint.

                                        1. That I applied for PNG connection on[protected] vide registration No. 993954 and deposited the registration amount of Rs. 6000/- vide cheque No. 593406 and 593407 dated[protected] drawn on Canara Bank and debited from my account on 14 May 2010.
                                        2. That I have been allotted Business Partner No. [protected].
                                        3. The installation work of PNG connection has been carried out in our area in the month of Feb. 2011.
                                        4. That in spite of my several personal visits and telephonic requests in the IGL office, Sector-9 Vaishali, No work has yet been done.
                                        5. That a request has also been made vide letter dated 30 June 2011 which was personally delivered in the IGL Office, IGL Bhawan, Plot No. 4, Community Centre, Sector-9, R.K.Puram, New Delhi. No receipt of request letter was given but I was assured that the work will be completed within a period of 30 days.
                                        It is therefore requested to please ask the concerned department to redress my grievance to install the PNG connection at my residence to avoid any hardship.
