The below complaint is being escalated as no appropriate actions have been taken by IGL since the last 10 months even after continuous follow-ups, calls to their call centers and the wrong bills are being continuously generated till date. The only action they taken is close the complaint on their website without doing what is needed. Special readings have been requested in Nov 2013, Mar 2014 and Aug 2014. Even after taking those readings the bills are not being corrected and the response is pathetic from IGL. The below are two emails which have been sent with no response.. Mail sent on Oct 13 ***************************************** Hello This is to bring to the notice of the right authorities the problem we have been facing with the billing since the last few months and after umpteen complaints on your website have not seen any resolution to the same till date. Complaint have been registered on your site on (screen shots enclosed below) 1. May 2, 2014 2. July 16, 2014 3. Aug 27, 2014 4. Sep 25, 2014 5. Oct 13, 2014 The gas consumption is almost nil at our end on account of my parents travelling extensively and being out of the town, however the bills being populated are just showing estimated readings based on the last reading and not the actual readings. After multiple calls and request to your call center we even asked for a person to visit our home to take the correct reading and the visit happened on Aug 11, 2014 (BP No: [protected], S.No: 113673) The person confirmed us that the following bill will show the corrected reading however even after two months still the bills we are receiving are inflated bills and you are expecting us to pay the same. Even the latest bill is an inflated bill and not true representation of the readings. The complaint status on your website just show the status as "CLOSED", please help us understand what does it truly mean? I am writing this mail with the hope that we will get the bill denoting the right reading and the corrected payment, this will also enable us to pay the right amount hereon. Also, I am hopeful that you will look into the same with utmost urgency, else I will have no option but to escalate your negligence to the right authorities and the consumer forum for the redressal of my complaint and the appropriate compensation. ****************************************** Mail sent on Oct 27 ****************************************** Hello This is to further follow-up on the below mail.     Hello I have been forced to escalate the complaint to this extent as no action has been taken since the last 10 months on the billing issue we have been notifying IGL with. Three special readings have been taken on our special request in Nov 2013, March 2014 and August 2014 however the same is still not reflected in the bills. Nobody picks the phone on the numbers given at the back of the bill. Incharge- Complaint Receiving Cell, Nodal Officer complaint number are never answered. Below is a snapshot of what we have been going through and how many complaints have been raised through the IGL site and through written communications.       This query is in regards to the fraudulent Billing being done on the BP No: [protected] Installed on the below mentioned property. Address: Flat No:13C, Block AJ, Shalimar Bagh, Near: Prabhu Dayal Public School New Delhi -110088 Meter No: 31582641 I ordered a temporary disconnection of the IGL services on account barring BP NO:[protected] installed at the above mentioned address on 17/03/2014 via request No ONM[protected] due to Renovation work being carried out on the said property and the temporary disconnection request completed on 20/03/2014. It's been noticed that since then we have been wrongfully billed and charged by IGL as there should be no bills generated under my account as the line is disconnected and no usage is being done on the above connection via Meter No:[protected] since 20th March 2014. The Bills that were generated since then [protected] generated on[protected] for amount : 1479.84 (Paid -Auto debited from my account) [protected] generated on[protected] for amount : 93.15 (Paid -Auto debited from my account) [protected] generated on[protected] for amount : 3760.98 (Paid -Auto debited from my account) I called up IGL customer care and the representative informed me that IGL bills its customers on assumption usage and not actual, I requested him to stop the billing as there is no usage done from our end and requested for refund, the rep advised me that he would put in a request for stop billing and requested me to write an e-mail to customercare.[protected]@igl.co.in for refund. I wrote around 4 e-mail to the above mentioned address however never received a revert from them, so I discontinued the follow up's hoping that the customer care rep would come good on his word. However that was not the case I was going through my bank statement recently and found that IGL once again generated a bill of Rs 2588.28 on[protected] and debited the amount my account due to standing instruction to the bank. When I checked my account on IGLonline.net I didn't find any previous amount showing in credit nor any response from them to my request. I would request if you to please share your suggestion/thoughts on what options I have in order to recover my money from IGL.           Application No. [protected] My name is Rajendra Prasad, working in State Bank of India, reside at Flat No-90, SBI Officers Flats, G-Block, East of Kailash, New Delhi-110065, has applied for Gas Connection through Pipeline as there is Pipeline Facility in our area, however the meter is not installed . I submitted application on 12/03/2014. After submitting application, I was told to wait for three months as it takes time. I quietly waited for three months, and after passing of three months, I followed up at your office in RK Puram with Mr. Nitin, Ms. Joshi and their Senior Mr. Mishra. I have visited them 5-6 times and every time I meet them, they assure me to get the metre installed in coming Saturday/ Sunday, which surprisingly has not come yet. After getting their disappointing response I called at your helpline and they provided me a mobile no of Mr. Sunil Tak, therefore started following up with him on his mobile, and I am calling him for past 3 weeks, almost on daily basis, and he is also assuring me to get the metre installed in coming weekend, but the response is same!!! That weekend is still far from over . Is the standard practice organisation like your follow? What is the accountability aspect? Can any body take some time and look carefully at my grievance and see how your people are working ? It is very disappointing .             Dear sir, namaskar, I have booked png connection on dt.28/12/2013 vide registration no.[protected] after complete this procesess we have paid rs.6000/={rs.six thousand only} against security deposit by cheque for the name of indraprastha gas ltd.on dt.02/12/2013.sir, my B.P.no.generated on 31/122013 then IGL marketing executive mr.vinod ji came to my house for checking of connection status, he told me we can not given connection to you because your room is made of POTA-CABIN TYPE, then i agree next day i have made a application to refund security money from IGL i have send my aaplication through dtdc courier vide doucent no.21/05/2014 this courier received at security deptt. at IGL Office at R.K. PURAM NEW DELHI{ marked to mrs.JYOTI CHAWALA} Marketing deptt. also i have send manny time mail regarding this matter. sir you are request to kindly take a necessary action regarding this matter, because i suffering day to day loss of my money from bank interest

            I have disconnected my PNG connection on 27.08.14. After that I have received the final bill and the same was deposited in Kotak Bank along with disconnection fee Rs. 1000/-. All the required documents have been sent to Ms. Jyoti Chawala on 24.09.14 through speed post for refund of security money. As per Customer care, the application sent by me was not received in IGL office. Again I have sent all the documents on 17.10.14 through speed post. After contacting customer care I was told that they have no information regarding receipt of documents as well as refund of security money. I have spent lot of money due to telephonic call to customer care. Please look into the case and send the security money at the earliest to the address as mentioned in the application.

              My BP No. [protected] is 150 days old, I had made several complaints. My latest complaint no. is PRJ[protected], but not received any response from your end. I had sent several mails regarding this at customercare.[protected]@igl.co.in but did not received any reply from your end. I had made several call on your phone no. [protected], and visited your customer centre which is situated opposite Vivek Vihar police station and every time I am getting the assurance that within 2-3 days my meter will be installed. Meter were installed to some BP No. created after my BP No. in this locality, how it is possible I don't know.

                Company has sent me a inflated bill by showing very high consumption of gas based on reading taken on 18th May 2014.That reading was wrong as till date ( 18th July 2014 ) I am unable to reach that reading hence it is wrong billing based on wrong reading. Not only this a complaint was logged on 24th June 2014 ( complaint id MKT [protected] ).Reminder calls made to IGL call centre on 5/7/14 & 10/07/14 and 18/07/14 but no action yet on the complaint or visit by IGL meter reader.                   Hi, This regarding the PNG connection, ref no- [protected]. I have applied for this new connection Dt. 10th Feb 2014. Within two days feasibility study was done i.e. on 12th feb. But report only came in on 2nd March after several follow up. After that, document was sent on 12th May 2014 from my side and was received on 13th May (as per courier tracking number). But till now BP number is not generated, after several follow up with customer care service. Here are the some details: Check Number - 441706 Bank/Branch - ICICI/ Sector-18, Noida Dt- 13/05/2014 Really very poor service. Unfortunate to say that there is no transparency in the whole process. There is no centralized complain number through which one can track previously logged complaint. Every time from the call center getting the same response, we are logging your complain. Any how it is nearly 4 months, so please requesting please generate the BP and make the installation quickly. Thnks, Tapas

                    I am a png customer from oct 2012.I have paid all my bills ontime or before time.But from invoice no.[protected] and invoice no.[protected]Bill of jan., feb and bill of march and april 2013.)suddenly increased my bill about rs.2500/-. I have talked so many times with customer care and try to resolve the problem but i failed. I have details of complained.Last month they told me that you can pay actual bill which was about rs. 415/- i paid rs.430/- that by check.But this time same thing has happened again.Now they are adjusting my paid bill into security deposite which is not applicable to me because i am a public sector undertaking employee and i am living in airindia colony vasantvihar new delhi-57.All the employees of airindia has deposited the bank draft of rs.1000/-as refundable security at the time of new connection and rest is between airindia and igl(Indraprastha gas limited) what is the agreement between them that i donot know.My check payment of rs.755/- and rs.430/- they didnot deposite against my consume png they deposited in the account of security which is not justified.Please look in to this matter and do the needful to solve this problem.Customer care has never called me i always called them.They never me writen any solution or complained details.They cleared all my online complained without discussing me at his own.They never botherd that his customer facing the serious problem.Thanking you in anticipation.

                      The Director, PNG Division, New Delhi, Indraprastha Gas Limited I paid my IGL PNG bill Invoice No:[protected] Invoice Date: 16.05.2014 through online payment using my Credit Card. The payment was successful but my account is still showing it under unpaid bill.The bill was paid on May 20th, 2014. I am afraid I don't have the transaction ID of my payment and therefore I am little worried about it. Please confirm the payment is received and is under processing. Thanks!! Kamal [protected]

                      Permanent disconnection

                      Hi,
                      My BP no is [protected] in the name of vikrant Khatri .
                      I have given application telephonically on 31st may'16 for permanent disconnection, after 6-7 reminders till date no one has came to my place for disconnection, every time they take it as a new connection.

                        My name is Amit Aggarwal living at B-67/F-1 Rampuri, Ghaziabad-201011. PNG is installed at this address with B.P. No. [protected]. This is to inform you that, meter reader doesn't visit at my house regarding billing purpose. They put the wrong reading in their data results wrong billing. I have logged several complaints to the IGL Customer care but the result is same. Incident 1: I got the billed up-to 28th Feb, 2014 with last billing unit 728. But after raising the issue, customer care organize meter reader visit.He takes the last billing unit 715 on 19th March, 2014. After complaint logged, IGL organise meter reader visit and correct the bill. Incident 2: But the same issue came with the bill up-to 30th April, 2014 with units 792.33 but actual units showing in meter till 15th May, 2014 is 745. Complaint is already logged. Complain numbers are: ONM[protected] ONM[protected] It is very difficult to track these issues regularly but IGL is not ready to improve their service. Request to look into the matter and do the needful ASAP. Thanks!

                          I had applied for new connection in December 2013 and till date no action has been taken, If i check online it shows status of feasibility test in progress It is showing same message since last two month My application Reference ID [protected]

                              Hello Sir/Madam,
                              I am really fed up with the IGL irresponsible behavior. I have done all the needful which IGL require for a new connection even I have even paid 6000/- which they ask for new connection, they gave me 90 days for new connection setup but non of IGL representative turned up in those 90 days. In those 90 days I even requested them for the early connection through their site (Request No : PRJ[protected]) there was no response from there side whenever I call them they tell me our technical person will call you soon and you will get your connection but non of them calls. After 90 days getting over I called them again and registered a complaint for delay connection but again their reply was same someone will call you soon . As non of them called me I again called them they registered one more complaint for delay connection and told someone will call you soon . I will tell you sir after that I called again and again but same reply i am getting every time.

                              Its now really difficult for me to believe on them after such a worst service .                                   I am using IGL gas from since eight month, My business partner no is [protected] I pay my bill regularly but it is observe that the bill is not actual this is base estimated invoice.I have paid my bill & still my next bill shows arrears.Also the concern customer care not pickup the phone, which cause i am facing much inconveniently to pay the bill & I don't get any response from customer care kindly look forword it.

                                    We have Applied for PNG in December 2012, we have deposited Security / Installation amount by cheque of Rs 6200/- ( Six Thousand two Hundred Only ) at that time of booking . Due to some technical reason IGL installation team refuse to install PNG at our premises. So we requested for Refund of Security / installation amount which we deposited at the time of Booking. Refund request submitted many times But till today i.e 28/3/2014 we did not get any amount. B P No Issued by IGL is [protected] in the name of Dinesh Kumar. Please take some immediate action in this regards

                                      Deposited Rs.6000/- with IGL on 29.08.10 for a new PNG connection vide BP No.[protected]. IGL kept the money with them and no information had been provided in this regard. After taking up the matter with the IGL the IGL had refunded the deposited amount of Rs.6000/- on 24.6.13 without interest. Mail had been sent to IGL for payment of the interest and the IGL had advised by vide its mail dated 21.8.13 that they are getting the management approval for payment of interest but till date no interest has been paid to me in spite of about 80 reminders by mail. It is also stated that now a days the IGL is paying interest on delayed refunding of security amount.

                                        IGL even billed for gas consumption of next March & April14 to get billing at higher slab.My present meter reading on 25.2.24.is 1136.67 scm where as per their latest bill it is 1182.54 on 31.1.14, how it is possible?Further they have even added bills payment of Rs 714.99 I paid earlier.
