I applied for PNG gas connection on[protected] vide IGL application form No.190555 along with Cheque of Rs.5000/-, there is no any condition of install the meter in kitchen on the form of this application now the contractor says that "meter will be install in kitchen otherwise submit you should your cancellation form" I says that Meter install in my premises not in kitchen due to there will be ladies in the kitchen when meter reader will come at the reading time so I say the meter install out side the kitchen due to any miss happening during the meter reading time.
Now I request you for guide the contractor for install meter out side the kitchen. As per condition of installation the extra pipe consumed in the process as per norms I will pay the extra amount.

    I have already made payment vide check no.329217 dt 15/2/2009 of amount Rs. 5000 which was booked through yog maya and company AD-9A power appartment pitam pura, but till date i have no information regarding installation of this connection at my residance which is I-20 SAI APPARTMENT SECTOR-13 ROHINI.

    Dear All,

    I also want to share a similar experience I am facing with Indraprastha Gas limited.

    I had registered for a PNG connection in Feb this year through your representative agency Yogmaya & Co. The registration no given is 126958 and the BP no is [protected]. I had given cash of Rs 300/- and a cheque for 5000/- (cheque no 539689, dated 11.2.09). Unfortunately this cheque got dishonoured. Then I again gave a cheque for Rs 5100 ( cheque no: 504022, dated 21.4.09) and this amount has been debited from my bank account in April itself.

    However, I am yet to receive the PNG connection. The supply is already on in our society and many flats have been using your service since March’09. The constant response received from your helpline and customer care number is that the case is pending and the connection would be given by next month, however four months have already passed and I have not heard anything yet.

    I am sure you would agree that this sort of delay and not being intimated the waiting time results in considerable mental stress and also the fact that your company is earning a good interest on the security deposit for such pending cases while the customer even after paying the amount has no clue on how much more he needs to wait.

    You are requested to confirm by when we can expect the installation to happen.

    I Ashok Kumar Manchanda R/o of A-104, Gitanjali Appt., Karkardoma, Delhi - 110092 had booked a connection of IGL Gas pipe line on 29.8.2009 by cheque no. 013376 dt. 29.8.09 of Rs. 5000.00 of State Bank of India. vide Receipt no. 792 dt. 29.8.09 of EMARSONS Direct marketing Agency of Indraprastha Gas Limited, 1586, church road, Kashmiri Gate, Delhi.


    Till date no any gas pipe line connection is connected in only expect my home even every home of apartment gas is going on. I have launched many complaints to the coustomer care of IGL, Control room of Parparganj but no any result had found. I am a diabetic patient . I can't go to there office again and again. So please look seriously into this matter and please do need full for the connection of IGL gas pipe line.

    Your urgent action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Indraprastha Gas Limited — Non-installation of New PNG connection

    I am a resident of Dwarka sector 17, Pocket D . I have submitted the sum of Rs.5000/- with this company in the month July 2009 (BP no. [protected]) and till date, we have not got this connection. Customer care people are not giving any response. There is not one to hear in this company. Request you to please take up this case with the company and provide us with gas line connection.

    Same here. We have booked a PNG connection for our residence at 131, A.G.C.R. Enclave, Delhi 110092 in the year March 2009 vide B.P. No. [protected].

    To our greatest harassment, the installation has not been made at our residence till date, though all residents of our colony have got the connection.

    We have made various requests to your Control Room Tel.No.65286508 /[protected] but every time the response is that “we will get it done within next week” but all in vain.

    I have applied png connection vide form no.974020 dated7/4/2011and deposited Rs.5000/-(cheque no.369537) and Rs.1000/-(ch. no.369538) in the name of IGL through Future Fuels E-233 East of Kailash, New Delhi vide their receipt no.151459 dated7/4/2011.And I have registered a complaint through telephonically on1/8/2011( ref;Id No.PRJ[protected].then I received a message (SMS)on 20/8/2011 that your complaint closed sucessfully. and provide the feed back.But till now I didn't get any png connection.

      and he promised to get the connection activated with immediate

      IGL — Rejection of Car Loan

      hello sir,

      i have applied car loan. everything is fine but at last they people said that your name is in cibil so you dont get the loan.But i dont know what is cibil. Bank people told me you have taken any loan in future and you have not paid instalment. But now i am say that i have never taken any loan in my life. I want to contact or talk with your about my defaulter details.

      I also have applied for a new connection in the month of January 2010, at 233, Neelkanth Apartments, Sector-62. Although my cheque has been credited, BP number allotted[protected] but connection - No ata pata. Several requests to cutomer care, of no use.

      Don;t know what to do.

      IGL — PNG CONNECTION

      I MADE REGISTRATION ON 13.08.2010 FOR NEW CONNECTION FOR SUPPLY OF PNG AND MY REFERENCE NO. IS IP0010414. I GOT MESSAGE FROM NO. [protected] OVER MY MOBILE NO. [protected] THAT EXECUTIVE OF IGL WILL CONTACT ME SOON, HOWEVER AFTER THE LAPSE OF 3 AND HALF MONTH, NO ONE TURNED UP.
      Can you tell me how can one apply for PNG connection because as per official IGL Website there are 3 processes SMS, Call centre & online in past 3 month month i had applied through all these channels but all went in vein. Now please guide me to get PNG connection at earliest???

      I am facing the same issue. My cheques were cleared in october, but yet no connection is provided, i live in shalimar garden, sahibabad. No responses from the customer care.
      Customer care is full of anddo not know what they are talking about.
      I am also facing the same problem. It is more than four months I have been following up with the Customer Care of IGL in vain for a PNG connection in Janak Puri. My B.P. No. IS [protected] and request No. is PRJ [protected]. I also applied thru Yog Maya & Co. My cheques of rS. 5000/- & Rs. 1000/- have been cleared in December'11 itself. I do not know what should I do and whom should I approach. All my neibhours are already using PNG for the last 2 years now. They have just to connect my flat with the main pipe line already available. Still it is taking so long. Can any one suggest whom should I approach now.

        For PNG my registration no. is 4621 dated[protected] provided by Yogmaya & Co. (DMA of IGL), which stated that the connection would be provided within three months maximum time. Yogmaya & Co. (DMA of IGL) kept sitting over my cheque for 1.5 months and got encashed by your company only on[protected].

        Thereafter, B. P. No. [protected] was provided in the first week of April 2009 and the person delivering the same stated that within a month the connection would be provided.

        In May 2009, I made many calls to your customer care no. [protected] / 64543592, however, the phone bells keep ringing and nobody pick up the phone. After trying for days together and investing more than five hours, someone picked up the phone on 64543592, however, the answers to any query regarding providing connection was at best evasive. After much talks, he asked me to call on phone no. 46074855. Again after trying for number of hours somehow, somebody picked up the phone and again asked me to call on marketing phone no. 65286536, wherein again a different phone no. 64614334 was provided and I was asked to talk.

        After investing days and hours, someone provided me with phone [protected]/45/39/43 and asked to talk with Mr. Anil / Dharmender / Chandan who are the contractor for providing the PNG Connection. Again, after repeated trying either, the phone was found to be switched off or if the bells ringed the phone was disconnected without talking. Finally, I had talks with Mr. Dharmender and Anil, who again were evasive about providing PNG Connection within a reasonable time citing lack of Meters or Pipes and so on and so forth. When I told them that they are already providing the PNG Connection to many persons in our Society who had applied much after myself, their reply was quite evasive.

        Somehow, a worker from your company reached at about 10.00 AM in the third week of May and told that they would make the necessary connection that day itself. After inspection of the kitchen, he went away saying that their Engineer has not arrived, and hence, they would come for connection after sometime. Thereafter, nobody came back the same day.

        Thereafter, I waited till[protected], however, none came for providing necessary connection.

        On 25th June 2009, I again called your customer care no. [protected] / 64543592, again [protected] kept on ringing and nobody picked up the phone for considerable time. Then I called on 64543592, the person stated that connection would be made within ten days, however, again he asked me to call the contractor at phone no. [protected]/45/39/43 and asked me to talk with Mr. Anil / Dharmender / Chandan.

        Phone no. [protected]/45 were found switched off. On phone 39 and 43 Mr. Anil and Dharmender picked up and again they were quite evasive about connection stating that it may take one or more month. On repeated request, Mr. Anil told me that he is driving and would call me on 25th June 2009. However, no phone call received from Mr. Anil.

        Again on 25th June 2009, I made call at [protected], which was repeatedly disconnected by the persons picking up the phone. Again I had to call on 64543592 and lodge my request for connection.

        There is another side to the sorry state of affairs in your company. I called your customer care a number of times for new connection between May 2008 to October 2008; every time I was told that new connections are closed and would open after a month. In November 2008 to January 2009 I made more than 50 calls and every time I was told that my request has been lodged and e-mail has been sent to contractor, who would visit my place for collection of new connection fee; I repeatedly inquired that if there is any office of IGL where I can personally pay the fee for new connection, I was told that there is none, and the fee are collected by only agents. None came in three months time for collection of fee from me.

        Around last week of January 2009, I found somebody providing new connection in my society and on request he told me that your customer care is of no use, I should personally call the contractor and he provided me the phone number of contractor, who on repeated request and calls from last week of January to 18th February 2009 came to collect the fee on 19th Feb 2009.

        I may tell you that, your entire setup including your Customer Care and Contractors are negligent and fraudulent who does not know and understand professionalism.

        There is no central setup to whom a person can lodge his requests / complaints and keep peace. Customer Care no. [protected] / 64543592 are either found switched off for hours together or if fortunately it rings, nobody picks up, if picked up – it is disconnected without talks, if somebody is nice to talk, the reply are all evasive. All the persons keep on providing phone no after phone no and mostly the phones are either found switched off or disconnected after picking up without talks, if someone is nice enough to talk, he simply says he can do nothing except making e-mail to contractor who prima facie only works when bribed.

On receipt of above bill, self checked the meter reading on[protected] meter showing as 138.792. it is therefore requested that may please be rechecked the meter and correct consumption reading bill be sent to me at the earliest.

        IGL does not look into the complaint. They are habitual of ignoring consumer. They will learn the lession when penalities be imposed on IGL.

        I have one example, my nighbour got the connection about a year back. But they have not connected the meter with pipe line. They are making calls to them, IGL persons are responding that they will come in a day or two.

        My bill on 15.4.2010 was 38.5 SCM. On 15.8.2010, the bill is 295 SCM. I checked my meter on 20.9.2010, it is showing something 100008 M3. I do'nt know what it is?

        I called IGL, they said metered bill is OK.
        FROM TEN TO ELEVEN MONTH WE CONTINUE APPLY FOR NEW CONNECTION OF PNG AT PHONE NO[protected] BUT NO RESPONSE WILL COME .ON PHONE THEY WILL SAY THAT EXECUITVE WILL COME AT HOME WITH REG FORM. BUT NOBODY WILL COME TILL DATE. SO, PLEASE TAKE SERIOUS ACTION. SO THAT MY NEW CONNECTION WILL CONFIRM
        IGL, it seems, gives a damn to the people in general.
        It is, very unfortunately, in a monopoly position despite there being Competition Commission of India which looks at low competition even where there is competition.
        Here is a case, my own experience today, where no customer care line is working - responding is the right word. You get connected at 45195959 but no response.
        It is a shame that despite so many complaints over the years ( check the internet and there is enough mind boggling proof of that) nothing has change.
        A time will come, when they MUST go the MTNL and BSNL way and die away. Let the employees who do not bother and give too hoots be hooted every where and struggle to survive just as they are making their customers of today.
        Shame on the Govt and shame on the management..
        My.IGL BP.No, is [protected] . The chq.was collected in the ist week of jan, 2011 with the wording of the booking staff that the connection will be installed by may, 2011. Now, it's the end of aug. and even the pipe wiring has not been done. Those who have applied in the later months has got the connections done with proper supply of gas.
        I want to know from the authorities concerned what is the criteria for installation of PNG. Can someone let me know by when will the PNG stalled ?

        i have been receiving concocted reading for bill payments.my igl bp no. is[protected]..the bill payment ranged to rs.5157. shown in as an estimated bill..Though my present reading is 179 on 25.05.2012 but it has been evaluated to 283 points17.05.2012.as per our requirement of three members in the family it should be meagre instead it has been shooted up to a 5 star hotel consumption.Being a senior citizen with meagre pension how can i bear this brunt of huge payment is beyond my thinking.
        I had deposited sum of rupees 6000/ vide chq number 596050/596051 dated 12/11/2011 of corpn bank against registration form number 176285 to yogmaya and company and they had issued receipt no 19002 dated 12/11/2011.i have talk many time to your call center but no action has been taken .I request you to kindly give me my business partner number and when will my PNG gas will be installed.

          We have submitted the sum of Rs.5000/- with Yog Maya & company in the month of december and till today we are just getting delay in the connection. We have tried to get in touch with the senior officials in IGL, R.K.Puram office and they are just giving us work around that need to contact the JE and contractor. Also those people are not giving any satisfactory answer.

          The main thing is this that they are not afraid of if we tell them that we are filing case against them in the consumer court. They are completely shameless people and trying to make people fool.

          This is to bring in your kind notice that I Sailesh Sawhney resident of BA-31, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088 has applies for obtaining a PNG connection vide Reg. Form No. 322063 dt. 30.12.09. A Cheque bearing No. 725317 dt 30.12.09 amounting Rs 5000/- drawn at Nainital Bank Ltd. Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088 has also been issued by me in favour of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. But it is regretted to write that till date No PNG Connection has been installed at my premises despite
          many telephonically requests made vide complaints.

            Dear Sir,
            We gave Rs 5300/- for new PNG connection to IGL on January 27th, 2009 and was promised the connection within 30 - 45 days.
            After waiting for two full months, we got back to them enquiring about the status of the connection as nothing had happened till then. Then within couple of days, the pipeline was fixed and nothing happened. We called up again after a week and then the metre was installed. The mechanics said that a team of engineers would check the connection for leakage and the connection would be activated immediately.
            The engineers visited after a week and everything was found to be in place and we were promised the connection the next day itself. All these transpired within the first week of March and nothing has happened since.
            We called up IGL and registered a complaint (No. 106976) and they promised attendance within a day. But nothing has happened and every time we call up, they keep blaming their agencies or distributors or contractors. But as far as we are concerned, money was paid to IGL and it is their responsibility as we are customers of IGL and not anybody else.
            Kindly use the powers vested in you to redress customer complaints and please take up this matter with immediate effect.

            I would bring to your kind notice that I have booked a connection with you on 24.4.2011, vide receipt no-19703, in the name of Sh.Bhushan Lal Dewan R/o 30/17 III rd Floor, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi-110060.Form No-985865 Dated 24.4.2011.

            The Payment was made through State Bank of India Janpath Branch Through Cheque no-249141 And 249142 for Rs.1000/- and Rs.5000/-.

            All the resident of my block has been installed with the connection only my house has been left without the connection.I was in contact with your agency that is doing the installation work, but they are not giving satisfactory answer.I had talked with Mr.Ranjan on Phone no-[protected].

            IGL installed new connection in 3 flats of our society (849, Sector-5, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, UP) but nobody came back to clear up the mess that they create after digging all over the place. There are tiles and mud lying all over the place. When we call them, they keep saying that it would be done in a day or two. But nothing happens and everybody keeps bassing the buck to others. The customer care asks to contact the Control Room and they keeps giving you the contact numbers of different Contractors, one of them being Abhi Jain but eventually nothing has happened this far. They should be taken to Consumer Court for all this..!

            DON'T GO FOR IGL

              I Sachin kumar consumer of LPG Gas - Indraprasth Gas Agency, Station Road, Chutia, Ranchi-834001, Jharkhand.
              The agency provide the phone booking faciluty having number[protected].
              But when the office will open 10.00am they are engage thier phone all the time. i am trying all the day and time or more then 1000 times (its really more then 1000 time) to call for book my gas but giving result " The customer is busy in another Line please wait or call later".
              If they can't book gas through phone then they don't provide the number.
              Kindly take action as soon as possible against them.

                i am a resident of Dwarka sector 4 . IGL company which provides bio-gas to households has dug-up the footpath all along the service-lane on the main road to lay down some lines. they haven't restored the condition of the footpath to walking condition. it is in a very horrible condition and waling has become impossible.
                i hope you will do something for it and help restore the footpaths to a good condition.

                I am resident of Punjabi Bagh Aptts.(DDA-SFS) Rohtak Road New Delhi. The Indraprasth Gas Ltd. have dug up the service lane and the inside area of the complex in order to underlay gas pipe but till date they have not restored the affected area of lane and of the complex to the original condition. The dug up spots(potholes) had been summarily filled in with the earth which has sunk down during rains, making them deep enough for any body to get fall in and prone to serious accident if, on vehicle .
                2. Hope, the matter will receive your urgent attention to restore the condition of the service lane as also the affected area of the complex in view of the rains likely to make the situation rather worst.

                Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088 has also been issued by me in favour of Indraprastha Gas Ltd.
                But it is regretted to write that till date No PNG Connection has been installed at my premises despite

                  Sir,

                  I am a CNG user and drive an eco fuel car.Now, you would appreciate that when it is a petrol car and you intend to fill the fuel, you normally use currency conventions, as in filling 500/= or 1000/= fuel an so there is no direct loss of consumer.

                  In the case of CNG, generally the consumers go for filling upto the capacity as it saves time and also the cost of filling a 12 Kg clylinder is never above 225 /=.But in this case the cost of fuel is never rounded off.It comes in decimal always.So if I go for tank full, the cost would be apprx rs 195.20 (assume)Now while paying, I would have to pay the service guy 196 rs.That means a whole 80 Paise extra.Now I as a consumer never minds it because, one, it is not possible to get 80 paise back and second its too small to think of.But one look at the whole arithmetic and our views will change for sure.

                  CASE ::

                  Let us assume that a typical CNG station works for 16 hours in a day and fills one car in 2 minutes with an average extra earning of 30 Paise per car and also considering 127 filling stations in delhi with an average 5 outlet points.

                  The total amount collected by all the CNG stations over and above the actuals comes out to be a whooping 3.33 crores or 26 Lacs per station in a year.This is not considering the fact that many CNG pumps (eg the one at Sarai Kale Khan)actually run the meter twice during every filling.You can check for the same if you intend to.

                  Just a thought, is this money in any case used for the benefit of consumer or is it just going to the coffers of owners.

                  I request you to take a look into it.Its a small time crime which indefinitely has been occuring all the while and needs a curbing.

                  I 100% agree with Mr Mohit Chauhan.I also use CNG in my car & get it filled every after 6-7 days from pump close to my house i.e. Mayur Vihar-1, Extension, Delhi-110091.Every time they cheat us like this & if you demand balance money they refuse on the pretext of not having the same.

                  1. I got my CNG filled on 5.3.2011 against cash memo no IGL/10/10/19045, Station Name : Mayur Vihar & amount was Rs 265.50 for 9.15 Kgs & they charged me Rs 206

                  2. Cash nemo no IGL/10/10/10990 Dated 12.3.2011, Station name : mayur Vihar & amount was Rs 253.60 for 8.74 Kgs & they charged Rs 254.

                  In both the cases they did not return the balance of Rs 0.50 & 0.40.

                  I also wish to bring this to their notice that both the times while filling the CNG machine stopped after filling only 5% of the gas & when i complained about it, they asked me to write complaint in the book WHICH I DID on todays date.

                  Will IGL check this complaint & also devise the method of Installing "Recharge Machines"as in the case of "Delhi Metro " where we can recharge the amounts in any denomination.

                  Even in case of METRO travel by card the amount debited is like Rs 16.20 for a normal value of Rs 18 ( since there is 10% discount )

                  Will IGL learn something from METRO or will keep sleeping & promote corruption.

                      Just received to letter. Oh by the way incase you find mail bouncing you

                      Well now reply as per yr letter..
                      Delay .. yr reasoning accepted
                      Your reasoning of deviation's and safety hazards. Well you hv answered as
                      per the feed back given to you by yr technicians or men came to this
                      premises. Well it seems you people lie far too much. I am sure you must
                      be maintaining a log of all those men deployed for installation to know at
                      a later date the detail incase the information is required?? When these
                      three men came I clearly explained them look boss this is where I need the
                      out let . However he said he has no permission to take it out side the
                      house but on being insistent he said well for that he need to take
                      clearance and wud revert back the next day. he did not come but came on
                      the third day and said that The meter will be installed inside but the
                      outlet can be out side. On his confirmation I asked him to install the
                      meter . Which he did and promised the moment we will make additional Rs
                      5000 payment the connection will be establish the very day . By the time
                      the cheque was processed it was August. I called up Customer Care for gas
                      connection ( Check Log for number of calls from [protected]). Finally on
                      5th Aug they gave me a complain number . Wondering on my complain your guy
                      came and we said that we don't need it now and will call you once again .
                      How absurd this statement is. I am wasting calls to lodge complains and
                      subsequently defying the request to asking for an alternate date. From
                      this you can check the truthfulness of your people.

                      Even you were called up by me a number of times but you lack basic
                      courtesy of either reverting the call with info or deputing some one for
                      follow it up. Than you claim that you being constantly following it up.
                      Finally when all these call didn't bring I made you one more call and you
                      forgot but when I called you the second day, you asked me " Nobody
                      Came"? I said no. And than you sent these guys who were refuted .
                      That was sheer anger. Because you and your department made a mockery of
                      the customer-vendor relation.

                      Considering all your efforts and kind of services one can axpect in future
                      we decided that we would not like to be a part of this Gas rush thus Once
                      demand refund. We would approach Monopoly and Restricted Tare practice
                      commission and Consumer Court.

                      Till date no any gas pipe line connection is connected in only expect my home even the supply is already on almost every flats in our society. I have done many complaints to the coustomer care of IGL, Control room of Parparganj but no any result had found. I am a diabetic patient . I can't go to there office again and again. So please look seriously into this matter and please do need full for the connection of IGL gas pipe line.

                      Sir, I wish to add few suggestions, which will help IGL to widen its use, Revenue Collection, Distribution Efficiency... All of these will ultimately Enhance the IGL Customers' Service.
                      1) Co-Branded or Debit Cart of IGL.: Presently, We CNG Users have to waste around 2 to 3 minutes extra to make payment and getting the refund at IGL Stations. And, in general to PAY EXTRA minimum Rs. 0.50 to I.50 as the vendor boys will intentional have no Coins so You have to pay Amount Rounded to Upper Rs or mostly upper Rs5 or Rs 10.00.
                      Suggestion:/ Solution: Debit Card of Value say Rs. 1000.00 or multiple there of OR Preset Vending Machine like used or Petrol/ Diesel, So that the Dispenser Machine set for An Amount in multiple of Rs. 10.00
                      2) CNG -IGL Vendors Need to display the SIGN, For Company Fitted CNG Cars And Private CNG Kits fitted cars. As the former can only served by Machines coming on Left side of the Car, While the 2nd category from both Vending machines.It will regulate the Car-Owners movement.
                      3) The PNG Connection should be additionally EXTENED to Water Geysers using PNG. As those Gas Based Geysers of PNG Users need Either LPG Cylinders Or PNG Extension. Both are not available legally, Causing Inconvenience.
                      4) Using ECS payment for PNG Bills.

                      Complaint for IGL Customer Care and Staff &amp; service

                      I am not able to log into my igl online payment account with B.P no [protected]. Even I am trying with forgot Password, but don't receiving any mail for the new reset password from last four days.

                      I have mailed them so many times and even was trying their customer care numbers but no one was picking the phone. Today the call gets connected and a lady responded in a very unprofessional way. She was continuously avoiding and interrupting me and in a very unusual manner replied to call after 6pm as she is very busy and some maintenance is going on.
                      I was requesting her so many times that how would make payment then but her reply was same.

                      I am very much fed up and dont know when willl our country &amp; their so called agencies would take the customers seriously.

                      I just want to know if there's anyway i can get my password? How IGL can be so irresponsible in giving away its website to developers who can't even write the codes effectively.
