Dear Sir,
We gave Rs 5300/- for new PNG connection to IGL on January 27th, 2009 and was promised the connection within 30 - 45 days.
After waiting for two full months, we got back to them enquiring about the status of the connection as nothing had happened till then. Then within couple of days, the pipeline was fixed and nothing happened. We called up again after a week and then the metre was installed. The mechanics said that a team of engineers would check the connection for leakage and the connection would be activated immediately.
The engineers visited after a week and everything was found to be in place and we were promised the connection the next day itself. All these transpired within the first week of March and nothing has happened since.
We called up IGL and registered a complaint (No. 106976) and they promised attendance within a day. But nothing has happened and every time we call up, they keep blaming their agencies or distributors or contractors. But as far as we are concerned, money was paid to IGL and it is their responsibility as we are customers of IGL and not anybody else.
Kindly use the powers vested in you to redress customer complaints and please take up this matter with immediate effect.

I would bring to your kind notice that I have booked a connection with you on 24.4.2011, vide receipt no-19703, in the name of Sh.Bhushan Lal Dewan R/o 30/17 III rd Floor, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi-110060.Form No-985865 Dated 24.4.2011.
The Payment was made through State Bank of India Janpath Branch Through Cheque no-249141 And 249142 for Rs.1000/- and Rs.5000/-.
All the resident of my block has been installed with the connection only my house has been left without the connection.I was in contact with your agency that is doing the installation work, but they are not giving satisfactory answer.I had talked with Mr.Ranjan on Phone no-[protected].
