firstly call on the Insurance advisor who proposed the policy to you, call that particular branch office
additionally call ING Life Insurance Toll free no[protected] and go to choice 4( complain registration) then make the complain and then tell them to give you the number of the registration and keep following on that, also get the name of the customer service person and make a note on your diary and keep following up, also make a separate note of all the times you registered the complain, date, time, person who spoke and registration number

        good luck

I am having policy with ING no: 00245716. This is in force since 2006. My premium due date was 28 March 2010. I dropped the cheque in one of the drop boxes provided by ING. After one month when I checked my bank statement, it was not reflecting cheque clearance. When I inquired ING people told that now they have stopped drop box facility.
They dint even inform us. When I gave a complaint, they are not ready to resolve it. Nor are they arranging for cheque collection. Now yesterday I got SMS that my policy has lapsed.

I am facing problem with this ING people since last 4 years, every time a new problem. Please let me know the source through which these people will get godd lesson for playing pranks with customers like me.

                      Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to bring to your notice the unethical and unprofessional code of conduct by ING Life insurance representatives.

One of the executive of ING life insurance named Mr. Sumit Kumar Mishra approached me for discussing about a retirement plan for my father. He committed me that if we pay a premium of Rs. 50000 annually for tenure of 4 years, would entitle us to receive a pension amount of Rs. 7200 per month from the 5th year, up to the age of 85 years, which was pretty hard to believe.

He showed me the computation of the same, which he brought along with him. I insisted him to let me know how that pension amount of Rs. 7200 per month was computed. At that moment he showed a severe lack of knowledge about the policy and the pension amount computed and requested for an appointment for a different date.

He however, collected a cheque from me for Rs. 50000 towards the first annual premium and told me that during next meeting he would bring along the monthly pension computation on the letter head of the company. During the next meeting also he was not able to explain how the pension amount was derived and had mugged up few policies and when asked about something else, again he wanted more time. I told him that I don’t want the policy and asked him to return the cheque which he collected from me.

Next day again I received a call from Sumit and he told that the Branch Manager, Mr. Vishal wants to have a talk with me and sort out my query. Mr. Vishal was also not able to justify the commitment made by Mr. Sumit and said that the pension would be around 4000 and that also subjected to market conditions. I clearly told him that I don’t want the policy and requested him to return the cheque, to which he agreed.

Later on, to my surprise, I came to know that inspite of my refusal to take the policy, the policy was issued to me. I m extremely sorry that across the industry I haven’t found any Insurance company behaving in such a way. The details of the policy issued are:

                      Policy No: 01770361

Type of Policy: New Best Years

Policy holder: Manjeet Pal Singh Bhui

Further, to add to my astonishment, I found that the policy which I received was totally manipulated by your officials. Details of the same are hereunder:

                      * The application form attached with the Policy is not the one, which was filled up and signed by my father.

                      * The Signatures in the name of Mr. Manjeet Pal Singh have been forged by your executive.

                      * The tenure period which was of 4 years, has been manipulated to 5 years.

                      * Contact No.(mobile) filled up in the form is not of mine, but that of Mr. Sumit Kumar Mishra.

                      * Father and Mother of the policy holder (Manjeet Pal Singh) are alive, which has been showed as natural death.

This is extremely pathetic and a case of Fraud and Forgery. ING Life Insurance cannot forever deny the unethical acts of its representatives as the communication which I had with Sumit Kumar Mishra and Mr. Vishal were on a recorded line and I am having the recording clips for the same.

I still trust the higher authorities of this company who have built it, to look into the matter, and cancel the policy immediately and refund the complete amount of Rs. 50000, without deducting any charges. I regret to inform you that I have never had to face such problems in any of my dealing with any of the insurance company in India. I do anticipate a reply and expect steps be taken against those responsible, or rather should I say, totally irresponsible and set example for others too.

I have taken a loan from ING Vysya and first of all they charge 1 to 2 % above market rate. I approached them to close the account and they said I need to pay a penalth of 3%. But the initial documentation we have signed while the loan was taken clearly mentions 2%. When I asked about this change, they have no answer. Be careful while dealing with this bank

I am really ashamed to hear all this truth about ING VYSYA BANK. I will withdraw my account from this bank on July 1, 2011.
I am facing similar problem with ING Vysya.

                        1. Loan agreement document which i have signed denotes a pre closure percentage of 1 %
                        2. I havent signed/agreed on any other documents orally or i havent recieved any information via mail regarding the change of pre closure rates during the tenure.
                        3. The document which i signed doesnt show any indicators so that it can be increased as per banks discreation.

                        16. Total Foreclosure

                        4. Pre closure quotation which bank provided twice - physical copy with sign and bank seal- have a percentage of 2% preclosure penalty. I have collected the amount from another bank as per the pre closure quotation
                        5. Final closure amount bank took was a 3% pre closure penalty citing ficticious references

I have just escalated to the person in Bank Complaints Redressal website. Let us see how it helps.
i have an existing loan from ing vysya loan account no.: 5500HL527624. the bank want to levy 3% pre-closure charges. bank like icici have waved out their pre-closure. this makes me assume that if icici can wave out these charges so can any other bank and this also could mean that the circular by NHB is put in practise by these banks. then why would ing vysya charge these charges and that too "3%". i have just closed 1 loan with icici and smooth experience. is there an authority to give people like me a solution against these bank??????? desperately seeking help !!!

                          Dear Sir
I had taken a home loan from ING Vysya Bank Limited of INR 46L in early 2008. The disbursal at that point was done at 10%.

I would like to compalaint about the bank on the following issues:

                          1. High Interest Rate: The current interest rate being charged on my home loan is 10.25% which is indiscriminately higher (higher by about 150-200bps) than the current prevailing rates in the market (or) infact rates being offered by the bank for new loans. I would like to note that this is extremely high because:

                          a. RBI has reduced the CRR (from 8% to 5%-recent increase to 5.75%) / Repo (reduced from 8 to 4.75%)/ Reverse Repo (reduced from 6% to 3.25%) rates to help banks reduce interest costs of their customers
                          b. Competitor banks/ FIs like SBI, ICICI, HDFC have reduced home loan rates to 8-9%
is offering home loans to new customers at 8-8.5%.
                          d. Please note that this is a joint loan (me and my wife) and the risk profile of our loan would be one of the lowest given the below:
                          - Our credit track record is impeccable
                          - We both are MBAs and work for respectable MNCs
                          - Practically, NIL chances of default based on the current income trend
                          - We fall in the age bracket of 28-33 yrs clearly demonstrating future ability to repay the loan

My home loan interest on the contrary was increased to 11.25% in Jul 2008 and was only reduced to 10.25% in mid of last calendar year, which is significantly higher than when it was disbursed, which to my mind should have been reduced to 8-8.25% in line with the soft interest regime being maintained by the Central Bank and also the fact that the rates are floating in nature.

I had requested the bank to kindly take the above into consider a further reduction in home loan interest rates given the above, but no clear explanation was given despite repeatedly writing to them. As a customer of the bank I fail to understand why higher interest is being charged to me when:
                          - From a risk profile perspective: I have already written about our future ability to repay. I would tend to assume that my risk profile would attract lower capital hence lower interest rate. I would also like to note that there have been so far no delay of payment from my end and infact I have partially prepaid a portion of the loan
                          - From prevailing interest rate scenario: Clearly the Central Bank wants all the commercial banks to maintain a soft interest regime which is not being followed by the bank for old customers, which is discriminatory in nature

The bank's pricing seems to be completely non-transparent in nature and I as a customer am not sure why are high rates being charged to me and why are concept of floating rates only applied while increasing the interest rates and rates seem to become sticky when the rates are to be brought down by the bank.

                          2. Un-acceptable Practices amd Mis-selling: When the home loan was sold to me, one of the key selling propositions was the ability to pre-pay (or) foreclose the loan post 6 EMIs. This is one of the main reasons why I choose to take the loan from this bank as compared to HDFC (which is a much reputed player in this product)
From Sanction Letter of ING Vysya Bank, dated 14th Mar 2008, Point 10:
                          QUOTE
Over 6 months, partial prepayments are allowed any number of times subject to a minimum of 3 times of EMI and continuation of 12 EMIs.
                          UNQUOTE
Subsequently, this was covered in the loan agreement as well, where this was confirmed to me by your bank’s sales personnel that the whole loan can be repaid or foreclosed after 6 months of EMI repayment. Further to that after more than year of taking the disbursal, I was shocked to receive one way unilateral communication from the bank dated Apr 2009, whereby:
                          a. The prepayment per year was limited to 25% of the principal outstanding
                          b. The penalty was increased to 3%, which was not mentioned at all in the home loan agreement

It so seems that this proposition of ability to foreclose (or) pre-pay was used as a hook to attract new customers like me and then change it suit the bank’s requirement which is clearly unfair and unacceptable.

I have written to the bank several times, but no clear justification (or) resolution was provided for resolving this issue, especially on why was pre-payment facility removed, which is clearly adventageous to the bank but clear highly unfair to a customer like me. I would request your kind intervention on the following:

                          - Allow me to shift my home loan to another bank under the old conditions of the sanction letter without any penalty
                          - and, direct the bank to have transperent pricing policies in line with the risk profile of the customer and reduce my pricing till the time the loan is not shifted.
                          - Also, reimburse high interest charged at 150bps for the last calendar year.

Looking forward to your kind support in ensuring that we are fairly treated in this matter.

                          Thanks and Regards

I am too a victim of ING Vysya's unfair practoce. I am their home loan customer, at the time of loan agreement (3+ years back) the Rate of Interest (ROI) on my home loan was 11.0% which was adequate as per the contemporary market conditions, after that the ROI was increased upto 12.25 % for a period of time that too was reasonable as market conditions turned worst at that time, but later on when market conditions improved drastically their loan benchmark (HPLR) come down to an insignificant extent as compared to the improved market conditions, this biased movement of HPLR forced me to pay high interest on my home loan.

For a long back new home loans are being offered at 8.0% to 9.0% ROI by various banks (including ING Vysya) but they are charging 11.75% ROI on my home loan which cannot be justified at all.

I have simple questions; Why this high ROI is being charged on old home loan even when the market conditions are comparatively favourable ?? This bank offers lucrative schemes to trap new customers, thereafter they deprive them from benefits of positive changes, on contrary make them equal partner of negative consequences.

PLs...beware!!! from ING Vysya's home loan schemes...

home loan bank — unfair practices while disbursement

                          sir,

I have taken a housing loan fm one of the leading bank, it was a loan towards the underconstruction building. At the time of final disbursement builder had claimed that his work has completed in 100% so he is required 100% payment. Based on his demand we submitted his request to bank in their prescribed format. Now, he got his 100% payment thru bank fm me in few days but he left his work incomplete till date. Howerever, when i disputed with bank for releasing payment, it was revealed to me later by bank that at the time of final disbursement only 95% work was completed. So, I feel bank should not released extra 5% payment to builder but it seems that bank has favoured unreasonably to builder and not its customer.
This is unfair and unjustified practice on the part of bank. pl advise can we take bank and builder together to the consumer court for such incidents. can any one advise me. tks

                            Hi All,

I have taken a Life insurance policy No. 01650989 on Sep 2009. Firstly they delayed to deliver the policy and later i got it delivered from different courier company. And i have signed the ECS facility form to deduct the amount every month. Even i have sufficient fund in my account then also they have not deducted the amount through the electroniuc clearance instead of that they have sent a letter stating that i havent paid the EMI then i called their customer care regarding this issue they told they will call me on the next day i didnt recieve any call so i called again they gave me some email to [protected]@ingvysya.com and [protected]@ingvysya.com i sent a mail regarding this issue on 23rd Dec'09 but i got one revert on 29th Dec'09 stating its been forwarded to Complaint cell once we get a revert we will intimate you i got frustrated by this type of reply and i clearly told them i dont want the Policy just cancel it and refund my money, i called customer care and i spoke to haritha compaint division manager and she replied on 07th Jan'10 stating its resolved and refund is not possible and they thanked me for banking with them.........please customers think twice before paying money to ING Vysya Life Insurance company because as a customer i can tell they dont provide the cusomer serice properly. And they dont reply you guys when you send any mails at last they will come to decision without consulting the customers.

                              Hi All,

I have taken an ING Vysya ULIP in NOV 2006 vide Policy no. 00524525 and somehow i realized that i should not continue with it and asked for the refund of money after completion of 3 mandatory years in NOV 2009. I submitted my application for surrender on 25/11/2009 at the Kirti Nagar - Delhi office. After few days i received a letter from ING that " DUE TO MISMATCH OF SIGNATURE ON POLICY DOCUMENT REFUND CANNOT BE PROCESSED" . I went back to the Kriti Nagar office with the letter and Signature Verification Form. I signed in front of ING representative almost at 8 places on 2 forms just to assure my identity. Even the ING person also countersigned and assured me that this time i will get refund in 10 days(max.) only. Yesterday(20/12/2009) i called Banglore Head Office and i came to know that again the application has been rejected!!

When spoke to the customer care, besides convincing me and telling me the fact; he said that i cannot get the refund till i don't sign the same way i signed 3 years back which is highly dis-appointing. I asked them to confirm my identity with other documents even asked them to transfer money into my Bank Account vis ECS but a BIG NO came from their side.

I would again go to Kirti Nagar Office tomorrow and hope it will get resolved soon otherwise i must say that i am stucked in a trouble with a BAD name and if anybody is thinking to buy or get into any deal with ING then i would say " THINK AGAIN!"

Thanks and i hope with this forum i would be able to express my regression in buying ING.

So i went to the Kirti Nagar Office again today but they say till the time i will not sign the same way i signed 3 years back, i wont be able to get my own hard earned money. Thats SAD as an insurance company is doing so. I have written an e-mail to the complaint cell of ING also but no reply has come yet!
the service offered by these ing vysya employees at the branch level and at their head office in bangalore is disgusting and shameful. i was promised a cheque for my surrendered policy within 15 working days but it is almost a month now and the payment is yet to be received
very valid . Even we are facing same problem.
dont ever go for ing vysya if you wish your money to be safe.
                              They are totally disgusting. .

                                        Sir

I am an account holder in IOB Bank at sholinghur (631102) Ac no 2310. On 16.10.09 around 5.30 pm i used the ING vysya atm Rajaji nagar, Bangalore for withdrawl of rs 1000.But i didn't receive the amt through atm as well as the transaction slip for twice of 1000 rs.(2000 rs).Subsequently on checking my balance i was found that a sum of rs 2000 is debited fro my account.I have given a request to the branch manager to take necessary actions.
While using SBI ATM card transacation at your Ashok Nagar, 2nd Avenue, Chennai Branch for Rs.6000/- (Rupees Sxi Thousand only) on 4th October 2011 at about 7.50 am the transaction was declined, but the
money has been debited to my SBI account.

On contacting your branch I have been informed by the front officer that the matter should be taken up with my State Bank Branch where I am holding an account. She also confirmed that normally it happends in all your ATMs which will be reversed automatically. Any how, I have given my request to my SBI branch in
Kerala State and they have taken up the matter with you. Kindly make the reversal without any further delay.

                                        Regards
