It jus happened today 05/11/2008. I booked and rebooked my ticket through the e-ticket and i was supposed to go from Bangalore to Mumbai then to Ethiopia then Burundi in Central Africa. I'm just from the airport and the good looking people at Jet Airways counter told me that my ticket, even though it was booked, was cancelled(they didn't give me any reason mind you). I told them that my visa in India will last for only 2 more days but they didn't want to hear it. So i'll look for another airline but Jet Airways is over for me.

    Mumbai - Indore

Due to heavy Rush at diwali time this year i choose to go to my home town by Flight rather then Train. After trying to buy tickets for several trains & low cost airlines i finally succeeded with do book my tickets for Jet Airways for 25th Oct..

Flight 9W 383 departure time from Mumbai - 5.55 PM.

I reach Jet counter after baggage checking at 5.15 PM. Jetairways Attendent Ms Purvi, tried several time to give me boarding passes, but could not succeed due to problem in server. She also called for help through some other attendents of Jet but when nothing worked she made me run to other counter.

The third lady i came accross in same day took almost 7- 8 min before attending me. Just by seeing Indore flight she told - " Not possible as flight is over loaded".
To my shock i first time ever came across word - "Flight Overloaded". She was hyper rude and was showing so much attitude as if someone is travelling by ST Bus.

Now 4th Person in picture another guy tried for the same & failed wrote timing on my E Ticket as - "customer came on 5.28 pm", which was utterly a lie.

After having big fight with this guy he directed me to a 5th Person - Mr Hemraj, who was perooccupied with several cases like these. Instead of accepting that this was utterly Jet Airways mistake, i was constantly blamed that i reported late.

Not only me, i came accross probably 10 to 15 customer who faced same problem that evening.

Finally 6th Jet airways attendent i came accross - Mr Prasad came into Picture to help. Probably one of only responsible attendent i came accross that day. Though he too suggested some wired option like getting flight from aurangabad which is almost 4 -5 Hrs from Road to Mumbai. Finally promise me to get next day flights to Indore as even evening flights was full.

After waiting for almost 20 minutes i got E Ticket for next day evening flight - which was earlier promised as morning flight.
Next day i reach Airport 2 hrs before the flight as could not afford same attitude of Jet Again.

I want to know if any one of you have ever heard term - 'Flight overbooked' after you got ur e ticket in hand.

Jet Airways all attendents could not give any solution, neither next flight or money refund, utterly making a lie by blaming everying thing on customer.

Very rude staff. This was only time i didn't pity that about why Jet Airways employees were thrown out of job by management.

Through this petition, i want to draw attention of the concerned authorities, including Jet Airways that claims to be the finest airlines in India and the general public towards the negligence of the staff, management and the kind of behavior for the public.

    Regards,
    Ruchita Mishra
pls give me ur general cutumer care or ticket confirmation email id so I can clear my quiries.

      Respected madam / sir

I r.venkata Subramanian, had lost my baggage (Sep_19th'08) exactly 1month 10days ago while traveling from "Bangalore to Hyderabad" in "Jet Airways" 9W512.

And till date Jet airways could not return back my baggage. The baggage which i had lost contains worth of 25k worth. And Jet airways says they shall compensate rs450 against each kg.

My Baggage weights 14kg and the amount works out to rs6300. As i was traveling back home after a month what ever i had bought with the bills were a part of the bag. I have been traveling with Jet Airways for last 1year and i a frequent traveler.

The reason for approaching you is cam to know your firm helps the people when they are harassed or cheated by organizations like the one i had gone through.

I had forwarded my plea of compliant to the MD/VP/APM of Jet airways. And till date i am fighting for my baggage.

Request you to kindly help me and if required i can mail you the correspondence of emails which was mailed to them till date.

Luggage — Lost checked in baggage

      Hi
I travelled on Emirates London-Gatwick to Hyderabad-India sector and the Airlines have lost my only checked in baggage. Before they cofirmed that the bag was lost,I was told that I am not eligible for claims against delayed baggage as I hold an Indian passport. I was told that only those who have either British,US,Canadian,Australian ....... Passports are eligible or atleast one should have a residence visa for these countries.
I was asked to fill a form disclosing the contents of the bag so that they can scan and help them in tracing and the Manager and the customer support at Hyderabad airport clearly mentioned the form is not for claim.
Once it was confirmed that the bag was lost they settled up with a paltry $27/kg. I was very unhappy with the decision and spoke to them, they then changed the verdict stating I should I have mentioned the cost of each good and have the bills.

I wrote to customer services Emirates they say, they cant alter the decision.

      Can any one please advise?

      cheers

Over the last 3 days i have been a bit perturbed with the responses I hav got from Jet airways from both the counters as well as call centre. Therefore i am writing to you to get a written response which I need to plan my next steps.

What i need to do :

I am holding a mix of refundable and non refundable tickets of domestic sectors
I want to rerouting these tickets to a international sector and want to use existing tickets that I am holding for the purpose.

Responses that i have got / harrassment to me

On June 13th night at airport counter at delhi, i was refused rerouting to international sector. On my doubting the response, the counter person clarified with another person and confirmed that refundable tickets can be rerouted to the international sector but non refundable cannot be.
I asked for the refundable tickets to be reouted and the Delhi - brussels - delhi ticket issued and any additional charges to be paid
As the entire process was taking too much time ( almost an hour ) I decided to pursue the case at city office today
I followed up on the call cantre and they also confirmed that refundable tickets can be rerouted to international sector but non refundable ticket cannot be.
On my visit to the city office and discussion with the supervisor that irrespective of the status of the ticket, the domestic tickets cannot be rerouted as per IATA rules. This has been received by me in writing.

On my confirming the IATA rules through th website, there is no such mention that I find and further there is no such mention that rerouting will be limited to domestic sector only on jet website under fare rules.Needless to say multiple views and opinions have caused extreme hardship to me physically as well as mentally.

        what I need

Guide me to the IATA rule which mentions this.
Guide me to Jet airways fare rule which confirms what your offices have confirmed to me including no refundable fare ticket not allowed to be rerouted as the fare rule on jet website mentions that ticket is allowed for changes with revalidation.
Give a written response which clarifies the reason for multiple opinions and sighting of rules.
I am also pursueing this through my office with IATA as well as DGCA basis written confirmations of your officers. In case your offices are right, I stand corrected, if not then I lodge a claim with consumer redressal offices and if required pursue this for consumer awareness through appropriate media.

Jet Airways — Damaged baggage not replaced after multiple complaints

        Claim Check Number - 9W 585891

I had taken flight 9W 351 (BOM-DEL) on 31.01.2009, where my baggage was damaged in transit. The baggage was handed over to me at the Delhi airport with one side completely torn apart. Two weeks have passed and I'm yet to receive a replacement...for various reasons.
Here are certain pertinent points I would like to make in this regard.

        1. Although the baggage was beyond repair and the same agreed upon by the attending officer, it was mentioned in the form as 'to be repaired'. The reason give to me was - 'this is redundant'.

        2. I had categorically told the airport baggage executive that I would be travelling again on 02.02.2009 evening and obviously will be requiring the replacement before that. The damaged piece was picked up from my residence promptly on 01.02.2009. However, even after calling up the contact numbers repeatedly on the mentioned date my case was not attended to. At 5 pm I was contacted to be informed that the vendor was then ready to plan the delivery, unfortunately I was already on my way out (with a little help from my friend).

        3. Since then there was no effort to communicate the matter to me till I returned to Delhi and called the Jet Airways executive on 07.02.2009.

        4. On 07.02.2009 evening, a certain piece of baggage was delivered to me at my residence...which, to no person in his right senses, would appear anywhere close to the original piece. Needless to say, I had no other option but to return the piece.

        5. Eversince I have been calling up Jet persistently. What is striking and worrying from a consumer point of view is that there is no single point of contact and no one taking responsibility, only ineffective and dumb phone executives wording out automated reponses.

I would like to bring this gross irresponsibility to your notice and hope that you will be able to take immediate action in this regard.

          Dear Jetlite Team,

It is very strange and shocking to notice that I booked two tickets by Flt no. 121 from Delhi to Ahmedabad for 15 May 2008 through online process by using my credit card but I received the ticket bearing the below details from Coimbatore to Bangalore.

I called up the customercare for rectification and issue of correct ticket but Mr. Harish Sharma, the customer care executive advised to write to you at above mail id and get a new booking done for my desired sector which I got done through him by paying again with PNR No.: H09P0 on Flt 121.

I therefore request you to credit the full amount of ticket to the credit card used for booking.

          Regards

JetLite Web Reservations — Credit Card not charged

Here is one that I should be happy about - but what would have happened if the passenger does not get a confirmed seat on a designated flight - just because his credit card did not get charged?

My correspondence with Jetlite "customer service":

Great response - but totally dysfunctional, devoid o[censored]nderstanding the issue at hand, and callously skirting responsibility and accountability.

Please note - I will be using this email to communicate with the Credit card issuer to resolve the amount in dispute

Let me summarize the issue that is yet to be resolved, list your responses, add my observations.

Please let me know if the following presentation or language used is wanting in any scope and manner.

          Summary of the original issue,

          A)
I had made an online reservation for my father on November 25th, 2008 from US and provided all required credit card information as guided on the reservation page.

I got a confirmation which I duly printed - I still have it with me.
          Reservation code NXMBQG
Passenger name LAXMINARAYANA CHALASANI (resident of India)
From Mumbai to Hyderabad AND Hyderabad and Mumbai
Price entered on web site : Rs 6, 350/-

          B)
When I arrived at Mumbai airport with my aging and ailing father, I was surprised and shocked to learn that the booking was made but the payment was not charged to the credit card, and hence his name did not appear in the manifest.

I was asked to rush to the ticketing counter (with my ageing and ailing father still in the baggage queue) to make a payment at the last moment to prevent a trip cancellation for both my father and myself.

          C)
The ticketing officer was handed my printed itinerary and the reservation code NXMBQG was pointed out to him for charging the credit card.
The ticketing officer observes that this was not an isolated incident and that a lot of reservations had to be charged at the counter because of an issue with web reservations.
He smiling takes my credit card, swipes it while talking to me and asks me to go to another window to collect my receipt.
I am asked to sign a copy of the receipt to acknowledge the charge.
As I was not told about the amount being charged or the flights being covered I presumed the original reservation against NXMBQG was being covered in the transaction

          D)
The charge, I realize after landing in Hyderabad, happened to be for Mumbai to Hyderabad and did not include the return trip.
The credit card was charged a sum of Rs 4, 770/- just for this leg.

          E)
I had to rebook the return leg for my father, and charged another payment of Rs 3, 745/- to my credit card.
I get a new PNR now: BCQUCH (04/Dec/2008)

          F)
In the entire process, I paid an excess charge of Rs 2, 318/- because the online reservation failed to charge my credit card when the transaction was made online.

          First response from Jetlite

Web Manager - Jet Lite India Ltd

          QUOTE
          (sic)
With regard to your mail, please be advised that your booking NXMBQG was unsuccessful and incase o[censored]nsuccessful booking there is a pop up which says
" Your booking has been created . However, the ticket has not been issued and your credit card has not been charged. Please contact our reservation office at[protected] or 30302020 within 4 hours from now to confirm your booking and to issue your ticket. The transaction could not be completed because of an issue with processing your credit card."

Please note, there may be a possibility that you must have ignored the message and hence, you had to incure a higher amount.
          UNQUOTE

A non-existent popup that highlights an issue with credit card?
And be able to print a confirmed itinerary?
Higher charge because of ignoring this message?

There needs to be detailed logical technical explaining to be done here.

They will further take it up with airport services in order to investigate the issue, and will revert to you accordingly.

          Third response from Jetlite

          Gerard Pereira - Customer Relations

          1. Mr Chalasani, at the time you arrived at our counter and provided a printout of your itinerary, our staff checked the booking details and informed you that the booking was cancelled. A detailed explanation and reasons to the same was provided to you in our earlier correspondence by our E-commerce division.

          2. You will appreciate, our staff facilitated you with a new booking and issued a ticket as per your request for the Mumbai-Hyderabad segment against the best available fare. The same was acceptable to you as the credit card transaction was acknowledged.

          3. We regret that you were not aware of the sectors as mentioned in the above ticket and hence you were made to purchase a fresh ticket for your return travel from Hyderabad to Mumbai.

Mr Chalasani, you will appreciate our predicament in the given situation, our staff at Mumbai would have issued a return ticket had the same been mentioned at time of booking.

          My response point by point:.

          1 -

The ticket was cancelled? This is being served fresh from Jetlite in the latest response.

I reproduce the original original experience (from C in summary above)

          QUOTE

          >A detailed explanation and reasons to the same was provided to you in our earlier correspondence by our E-commerce division.
Please see my response under "first response from Jetlite".

          2 -
The ticketing officer did facilitate a new booking, but did not communicate with me to let me know what the booking was about. That is the point I have been trying to make right from the beginning.
The "same was acceptable to you" - in what manner? Just because I was rushed to sign the receipt on another counter when my ailing father was standing in the baggage queue?
What airline in the world would issue a one-way ticket at the airport without asking when the passenger would like to book the return trip on? And that too against an established PNR?

          3 -
This point is correct - I was not aware of the sectors in the ticket - as I was not made aware of by the ticketing officer - the point I am trying to raise all along.

          Addendum:
Again - I, under the circumstances, as a passenger who provided an established PNR (Reservation code NXMBQG), had no need to mention the need for a return ticket as the reason for my going to the ticket counter was to charge the credit card for the specific PNR (Reservation code NXMBQG) which had both the trips included in the original reservation.

I would like to personally see all the members of this team welcoming me aboard Jetlite - if I ever choose to travel Jetlite again!

          Dear Mr Chalasani,

This is further to our interim acknowledgement of December 16, 2008.

Firstly, I regret the inconvenience faced by you on account of your recent travel booking with JetLite. I can assure you we have taken cognizance of your comments and travel bookings in an objective manner.

In view of the above, I regret our inability to accede to your request as suggested.

Thank You for communicating with us.

It will be our pleasure to welcome you on board JetLite

          Sincerely,

          Respected sir,
myself, ms.rinkumoni sonowal, scheduled to travel on 27th of dec'10 from kolkata to gauhatiby ft.-S2-361, departure time being 6.10a.m.Unfortunately I was a bit late & arrived at the lounge by 5.30a.m, 40mins.prior to & 5min.behind departure time.on approaching the counter for the boarding pass I was informed that the boarding was closed 15 min prior to my arrival i.e.at least 55min.prior to departure.Iwas just schocked & on requesting the authority lady I got very arrogant & rough response. She told me that they are not liable for someone coming 30min before departure, actually it was 40mins.Is it the way she must be talking to a customer?I didn't challenge her because i thought it was my fault.Next day i boarded the same flt.On enquiring the lady there i came to know that the boarding closes 25 min.prior to departure which is also printed at every boarding pass.I was perplexed at that. Are they playing any game with me?being a good airline i hoped that they should have taken my request earnestly but I was shocked at the staff's behaviour. Please provide me clarifications on this.you can check the online cameras if required.
          With regards,
          Miss Rinkumoni Sonowal

I was traveling from Delhi to Chennai, Chennai to Colombo on 14th September, 2008. When i claimed my baggage at Colombo Airport i found it was open and i found that new mobile phone which i purchase for my friend was missing. The mobile phone packet was cut open and the mobile phone was missing from the packet. This is done by Jet Irways ground staff. I owe an explanation and compensation for this act from Jet Airways.
After my latest experience with Jet Airways, I would like to completely agree with the poster. I travelled from New york to New Delhi on 2nd Aug. I checked in two luggage but on my arrival I didn't receive them at delhi airport.

The Jet staff noted my compaint and promised to deliver the same within 24 hours but I received my first luggage after 48 hours and when I opened it i found the valuables missing from it. It was a soft body VIP
suitcase and someone had opened the bag probably by opening zip. I received the second luggage after
3 days that too after making at least 25 calls to jet office.

The staff at the luggage office of jet never bothered to call me and update me on my baggage status and most of the time they don't even pick the phone.

It's been more than 4 days since I lodged my complaint about the missing valuables from my suitcase but I have not received any update from Jet so far...

Next time when I travel, I will make sure that I don't travel by Jet.

              Hi Prasad,

This is nath prasad, friend of great and nice human being, Imran Rupani
First of all let me tell you i am back, to give ultimate and Excellent reply
to your mail if you have week heart dont ever dare to read You must have
thought that your reply and marking CC to my CEO must have made him throw out
of the company and your wrong politics make the life of Imran Rupani into
problems and Hell. But let me clarify its your turn to criticise and grumble
over the past. The main intention of this mail is to bring the clear picture of
Prasad Shriyan into light and What wrong he has done to Mr . Imran playing with
              his career.

I am still telling you are the worst person whom imran have come across and who
is unnecessarily get into my nerves. you unnecessarily put him into trouble and
thought you became viveik oberoi and he is salman Khan, but trust me my mail
will make clear that i am your father in the field of Conflict and has make
sure that your mail has been shown to all the possible contacts which i had, i
would have replied to you the very same day but never thought it will become an
big issue and my brother cum best pal Imran has to pay for it.
He wrote you that who are you, because you are not my client whom i have
interacted and you without any reason wrote me bad thing about my reputed
organisation that Naukri.com is cheating with the customers and it has really
              bad service.
Please who are you to judge any one.
We have checked you have just taken Exp Resume Development and Cover letter
Services and you except the free interview calls and directly job offers, let
me tell you guy, that you are from beggar and low class family who thinks
that if we take your ticket of Jet airways for trip from Mumbai to Delhi, will
you allow us to take a trip across the europe. if not ???? then y u expect from
              them.
you said him that he made a worst mistake of writing you from my official id,
then let me put it very across your dumb sense you mailed him on his official
              id.

In my previous mail he just said and clarified you that using cheap and filthy
language does not detrmine your right personality it means you are coward and
cruel person. you interpreted purposely in a wrong sense that it is threat to
your personality, am i right but i want to say first it was threat to your
personality now it is threat to your future career .

you said to the CEO of Imran’s Company that i am unprofessional and dont have
ethics so let me tell you he is not an Electricity tower where a dog like you
can raise his leg and do toilet and he will wait n watch, and you said that
you have ethics you were despo to serve me with sugar or tea, don’t surve
anyone my keep it with you in worst case you are going to be ideal (Job less at
              home)
You are a relationship manager, let me add an apology to my sentence
that I wanted to meet a person who interviewed and selected you for that role,
what made you fitted for that role

you copied the blog of my boss and God father (CEo of Naukri.com) that you have
studied in internet, but i have gone through the contact information of your
management team, Please read what nice I have readed about jet airways team:-

what most irritates me is that you said that he is not customer centric and he
like sea food, so mr prasad shriyan i mean to say sad mishran this mail will
clarify how customer centric you are
A request to all the senior people a big reason to throw this guy out of
JeAirways is that he is searching for a job and he is not happy with his
profile because he shd not be offered the role of Relationship manager he
should be into credit collection department who threatens the people and get
the collection and second imp reason is that he is putting my job into problem
he does nt know that being into Naukri.com for 6 Months i had so many good
contacts that prasad has not half the same in his 30years of life, i believe
your birthday you will be there in prison with criminals.he made my Vice
president to apologise but in your case every one and especially immediate boss
and CEO should be intimated about his relationship manage with customers and 3rd
party, as discussed in the morning i tried calling you but you are showing
attitude and i requested to please say my boss to keep my job secured but you
think your self great after his boss has said sorry to you now you put yourself
              in my shoes .

to make sure that in your life you will not dare to put some poor person into
trouble, you must have worn trophys and awards its ok not a big deal now its
your turn to say bye bye to your best life now you are entering into worst and
              dreadful life.

May god screw you Prasad all through out life .

We all want him to become the rich person and he have come from very poor family
and those who brings problem for him will be putted into trouble.

Dear Senior Management Team of Jet Airways,

The day your Relationship Manager of Jet Airways ( Prasad Shriyan) has forwarded
this mail to the CEO of his company, they forced him to put down the papers,
Imran as a ethical Person, requested and asked for forgiveness but Prasad
shriyan replied saying that Tu Bahut shahana Samajhta hain aur tereko main
siddha Karta Hoon. Sir, Please tell me isn’t some one has a ethic to help the
              poor and trouble some person.

Dear Sir, Imran must have called him atleast 10 times but he was unnecessarily
showing negative attitude, We know imran from last 11 years and he is one of
the Best gentleman and nice and Clean hearted human being we have come across
we all call him as a Shahrukh Khan because he is a smart and cool person, and
has a lot of respect and concern for others, he must have provided employment
to almost more than 500 people till date.
He belongs to very poor and small family, he lost his father when he was in
college he has got his mom, brother who recently got married and sister who got
married almost 10 years back and 2 small nephews.

His mother used to stitch the sarees and use to earn for bread and studies and
all throughout his career he has been studied on scholarship. I knew him he has
got operated thrice when he was just an 10 year old for some problem with his
kidney and doctor has treated him free of cost because they didn’t had a money
              to survive.
He used to be bright and Smart student all through out his studies and due to
this he took an admission in Bachelor of Management Studies in Borivali and he
used to travel from Tarapur ( BOisar) almost 180 Kms Daily for almost 2 and ½
year to avoid this they means Imran, Mother and Brother shifted in chawl at
powai and from there he used to do parttime Job as well as studies and he
passed his BMS course with first class. Hats off to Him. Kudos, good Work and
after that he worked so many best companies in HR department like Capgemini
and many more and has joined Naukri.com almost 7 months back . he was the
favorite and best employee over there and with the hope that he is going to get
confirmed on 11th August 2008(6 Months) he thought of taking his own house at
badlapur and after saving almost near around 50000 Rupees in 5 years he paid
that 50k to the house owner because he was confident of getting confirmed and
has been sanctioned loan and In addition to all this every month he will have
to pay Rupees 8, 500 towards EMI deduction and Rs. 5500 for rent expense for
rental house and he has to support his Mother, Sister (Divorcee)and 2 nephews
              and all there expenses.

As in the year 2009 15th January, he was going to get married with a girl from
Tarapur as he is almost 25years old and his mom cannot stand properly because
of her illness and age so for keeping his mom happy he was going to get into
pure relationship of Marriage and everything was going smoothly but due to
unprofessional mail of your Employee everything comes to toss and End, Imran
lost his job and hence got an end to his marriage dreams and he has lost almost
more than 1 lakh towards home Loan payment and he has no salary at his end, his
mother is crying all through out the day and the entire ramzan month has gone
into vain and trouble and is sitting idle from last 20days without talking to
any one he is not eating food properly after loosing his job because of Prasad
Shriyan ( Employee of jet airways). I think in few days he will not be able to
speak and move due to all the incident because of your employee).

He was saving some money for the operation of his elder brother who is having
heart volve ( a hole in a heart) because after marriage from past 2 months his
brother has shifted to town ) and imran was only talking care of his mother,
sister and 2 nephews. This incident I came to know after I learnt from his
close friends, Colleagues and dear ones that he is no more working due to
mistake of Prasad shriyan. When we told him that as Prasad shriyan from Jet
airways has made your job into trouble so we will also write to his Senior
people to make him jobless . you know what Imran as a nice human Being replied
that Please don’t do any thing wrong to any one, ALLAH is watching everything
and he was stopping us from last 1 month to write a mail, but today I got
patience less after coming to know that his mom and sister including Imran is
under depression after all this incident and we are wrinting this letter to you
without Imran’s Knowledge and he has added that he just want to get his job back
for which he requested all his senior Employees managers and CEO but Prasad
Shriyan has really made Imran’s life into hell by writing a Unnecessarily a
mail full of Enemity and Cruel ness and with the intention that Imran should
loose his job which eventually happened and the main thing he has not taken
Resume Services from Imran, he had taken it from the Noida ( Head office Team)
and the reason Imran replied to his mail is that before Prasad writing a mail to
Imran, Imran got some Bad and Wrong Message from some unknown number giving
Imran bad words from mother and sister and the next morning Prasad wrote to
Imran a bad and angry mail so he thought Prasad is one and the same person so
he replied in a professional manner without thinking that his reply to his
mail would make Imran loose a job.

With Due respect to all the senior People of Jet Airways, I have due respect for
Jet Airways now also because of its connection with brand Names like Shahrukh
              Khan and Yash chopra,
1Cheating :-I would just request you to make Prasad shriyan resign from his job
because he has put my brother cum Friend career into dark and Problem.
              2. Unfaithful:-Being working with Jet airways he is searching for a Job.
              3. Markting Strategy:-He is spoiling the name of Jet Airways he is working as a
relationship manager for which he is not fit and he doesn’t have a knowledge
              about relationship.
4.PolitnessThis way he must be threatening the passengers and Client and must be
              making them to keep quiet.
              5. Courtesy:- He doesn’t have courtesy and does not have a habit of Forgiveness
so why should you and I forgive him for what he did to imran rupani, giving
him a full painful life as Imran don’t have any one to support him he will
loose his flat worth Rs 6.5 lakhs because he don’t have money to pay. Imran
Cannot operate his brother as he don’t have money to purchase food as imran was
asked to resign Immediately without giving any notice period. He cannot even pay
the fees of his 2 nephews who are in Jr. Kg. and 3rd Standard,

              6. Attitude:-Imran was having a salary package of 2.4 Lakhs Per annum Including

              Imran for full time Job.

to your mail if you have week heart dont ever dare to read You must have
thought that your reply and marking CC to my CEO must have made him throw out
of the company and your wrong politics make the life of Imran Rupani into
problems and Hell.

Services and you except the free interview calls and directly job offers, let
me tell you guy, that you are from beggar and low class family who thinks

cruel person. you interpreted purposely in a wrong sense that it is threat to
your personality, am i right but i want to say first it was threat to your
personality now it is threat to your future career .

you said to the CEO of Imran’s Company that i am unprofessional and dont have
ethics so let me tell you he is not an Electricity tower where a dog like you
can raise his leg and do toilet and he will wait n watch, and you said that
you have ethics you were despo to serve me with sugar or tea, don’t surve
anyone my keep it with you in worst case you are going to be ideal (Job less at

              3. Markting Strategy:-He is spoiling the name of Jet Airways he is working as a
relationship manager for which he is not fit and he doesn’t have a knowledge

4.PolitnessThis way he must be threatening the passengers and Client and must be
              making them to keep quiet.

loose his flat worth Rs 6.5 lakhs because he don’t have money to pay. Imran
Cannot operate his brother as he don’t have money to purchase food as imran was
asked to resign Immediately without giving any notice period. He cannot even pay
the fees of his 2 nephews who are in Jr. Kg. and 3rd Standard,

              6. Attitude:-Imran was having a salary package of 2.4 Lakhs Per annum Including

your relationship manager, Prasad. Please replace Prasad Shriyan and appoint
              Imran for full time Job.

Please forward my concern, difficulty and problem to the HR Department, CEO and
Senior Managers of Jet Airways and please help to share the difficulty of the

              With great Respect and Honour,

              Nath Prasad
As far as my views are concerned, this is not a complaint against Jet Airways but against an employee of Jet Airways.. and again, far as even that is concerned, its pretty evident that the complaint is very personal in nature.. It has got nothing to do with Jet Airways except for the fact that the subscriber to a service from the so called service provider 'naukri' happens to be an employee from Jet Airways who apparently has not been happy with the service provided by 'naukri'.. This does not qualify has a complaint against Jet Airways..
But its pretty evident that the complainant owing to his personal loss has decided to launch a complaint against Jet Airways.. Its unfortunate that people such as Imran & Nathu are using forums such as these to fight their personal battles & for character assasination. I dismiss this as a clear case of personal vendetta & not something which has to do with a service lapse or underperformance by Jet Airways.
P.S. - And a personal piece of advise for Mr. Nathu. It would be foolish to expect any organization to recruit someone through these means. If your friend is as capable as your mail suggests, he needn't beg for a job especially in an industry where people in today's times would dread working with constant fear of retrenchment.. More than anyone, the above compaint only highlights your weaknesses & immaturity. I do sympathize with your friend however if your conscience is clear & he's confident that his act doesnt deserve termination of services, he should be questioning his employer & not begging of Jet Airways. Please do not misuse forums such as these.. Part of the world where I come from, you could easily sued for defamation, harrassment & misuse for posting comments like these in a public domain. I am not familiar with the Indian laws. All the best!
              -Peter
Thanks for writing your required and unnecessary comment on the case which happened with so called employees. Would like to clarify, no one has asked for your unrequired comment and i dont know whether you are the employee of the jet airways or the same person on whom the complaint has been launched(Prasad shriyan ). I am confident you are the same person, it is very clear from your mail because no where in your mail you have used the name of the same person on whom the complaint and has been launched, then you are using the right platform by showing your false name and also before writing the comment you should have read the full mail which has been written rather than jumping on the conclusion and taking a decision like a judge. It is a mistake and Prasad shriyan ( who happens to be employee ) of jet airways is responsible and so as his organisation, if they have not compensated the victim who lost his job for his monetary and nonmonetary loss his relationship Manager has done.Earlier it was doubtful now it is confirmed, that you are the same person Prasad shriyan who happens to change his name as some other name.A personal peace of advice to Commenter on this forum of Meri Shiyakat, this is a democratic India and everyone who has gone through the pain and through injustice has a right to raise his voice and its people of india who wil decide on the same and not the same person who has done a wrong act and one more advice instead of writting to the Founder of the organisation he should have written it back to the same person because no where both the people who has been fighting in the battle has been connected to each other, so what was the need of prasad shriyan for writing terms like sea fish and not being a part of so called reputed organisation. Prasad Shriyan ways of writting to the senior people of so called reputed organisation was nothing but misusing the contact information on the website and it shows how bad his thought his and how bad his views are, his approach was like writing bad thing about the organisation and when got hurted to use the platform of senior people and doing back bitting, it is highly unprofessional approach and why that evil person wrote to such a great peron.
P.S. If something wrong happens to you and you are also fired without being given a chance to prove your innocence that too because the so called person Prasad shriyan happens to be a Senior person in jet airways then its really a injustice and wrong thing on part of Jet airways who happened to do wrong complaint on so called reputed employee of the organisation.
Prasad shriyan ( BOrivali)of jet airways is disgusting fellow and he will never ever survive peacefully in his life.Almighty wil punish him and will clarify whether he should be punished in this world or after he dies as a northern guy he will get punishment in this world and als0 after he dies... see my curse are there that guy is not fit to survive in service industry. We people from Edakulam, a small village in Kerala facing unprecedented and uncivilized onslaught from business setup by Mr Prasad. He is trying to extract the natural source of ground water on industrial basis inorder to sell to the multinational companies. To be frank, we all know that one Prasad working as a General Manager of Jet Airways started this company thru backdoor. This must be stopped. People are living in this small village without any drinking water issue for centuries. Mr Prasads company make this land barren with couple of months. We need support from Environmental Agencies. Thanks you.

Jet Airways — Disgusted by poor service

3 days prior to our Jet Airways flight from JNB to BOM for our honeymoon, Jet informed us that the had canceled our outbound and inbound flights and scheduled each of them to an alternative day. Our honeymoon itinerary of Internal flights and accommodation could no longer be made.

I have so far spent over 1.5 hours on the phone speaking to 5 different call center advisors, each less helpful than the last. We had requested to retain our return flight and cancel our outbound so that we may book (at our own cost) and alternate outward carrier. An alternative solution would be for Jet to switch our outbound flight to an alternate carrier. Having promised to call us back, we have once again been let down by Jet's customer service. We feel totally let down and frustrated by the company's lack of capability in dealing with straightforward issues due to unempowered and unskilled staff. I would urge other consumers to think twice before booking with this airline and rather consider using a reputable international carrier where poor service issues can be escalated and dealt with.

As the head of a multinational blue-chip company, I expect more from an international airline. I have instructed all my teams in India and Johannesburg not to use Jet airways until further notice. I await a call with a suitable solution and an apology.

              Jet Airways — Unprofessional approach

              Dear Sir,

I had booked my and my wife's ticket on jet airways for 18th Feb, 2011. Inspite of reaching to airport on time, I reservation was not considered and I was not issued boarding pass. as per Jetairways, they had closed file before 45mins.

Just to inform you that , I reached to jetairways counter before 45mins and all the counters were very busy & as per they thay had announced verbal announcement but somehow I cud not listen the same.

I understand they had taken extra passenger booking hence closed the filgt accordingly.I requested them a lot to consider my ticket but they refused and were very rude to me.

I was going to lucknow on a very inportant work and now this situation has put myself in a bad situation.

Though they themself have cancelled my ticket and charged me @750/-ticket cancellation.

Since I was going for important work, I have booked myself and my wife on IC
and paid 2100/- extra per ticket.
I hereby request you to take this matter and get me justice.

I also agree with this Comment.

Jet do not seem to see a pattern developing here. Either they are oblivious to it or simply do not care... I suspect it is the latter. Mr Goyal...bloody well do something about it !
              Hi

one of rubbish airline in the world. Their alliance company jetkonect is worst I have come across. Cancelled my ticket without telling me and blaming that the ticket agent cancelled it. Later they found it was their mistake after I had good defence. They forced me to buy another ticket despite I have confirmed ticket. They wasted my 3 hours on amritsar airport. Their whole team is just full of attitude. They have no understanding of customer service I thing customer service word does not exist in their dictionary. I advice people do not travel with them at all.
I was not allowed to board my flight when I reached the airport 55 mins before the flight time. Desks were empty but the adamant manager did not let me board and showed her power in hand with the worst ever attitude I have never seen in any human. I was getting married in 5 days time and was flying from London to Delhi for the same, but the arrogant lady didn't care at all about anything and just kept saying 'I will not let you check in'. I had to buy a fresh Virgin Atlantic ticket for same night and fortunately they let me check in merely 35 mins before flight departure. To make the experience worst, they cancelled my return jounrey without informing me anything about it, so had to buy a return jounrney ticket for same day again. Lost all my money and faith in Jet Airways forever. Now even if I have to pay extra, I never ever look at this useless option!
Jet Airways, once a fine airlines is now going to docks. I have been flying with Jet Airways way back in late1990s and experience was great. When I headed for an international assignment, took flying Gulf Air for several years until Jet Airways again started Bahrain-Mumbai sector. Initially all was fine, until very lately the charm is lost. Recently on 18th Aug 2017, while flying from Kochi-Mumbai, the check-in staff who had a grumble with the previous passenger standing before me, sounded bad later when my turn came. Probably he had a bad night back home, hence could not control his frustations. But, that's not what a check-in counter staff must do, as he claimed to have 15 years experience.. (bad experience!!) and did not require re-training? My father aged 81 years travelling alongwith me was in good health. The flight was at 9.15AM from Kochi to Mumbai, so we had to check-in at 7.15AM in Kochi. We had to travel from our home-town in Tiruvalla early morning 4AM, and my aged father was bit tired when reached airport. At the check-in counter, as usual he had smoking cough, and the check-in counter staff (M.P. Venkatesh Pillai) who was annoyed with the earlier passenger and had some grumble with us on the check-in baggage, stopped his boarding pass. He asked us to wait for more than half-hour to get clearance from a doctor. My father did not need a doctor, as he did not have any problems. But Venkatesh Pillai's adamancy and frustration, made us stand for half-hour and spoiled our day.

Looks like, Jet Airways must re-train their staff in handling senior citizens to have compassion and understanding to their needs. 15 years experience is not good, they must be regularly re-trained. Most of other staffs in the check-in counter Ganesh and others are not well accustomed to handle matters.
Suggest that Jet Airways review their check-in counter staffs in kochi airport. Else, they will lose out on their business, and also degrade Etihad Airways reputation.

Me, my wife and son were supposed to travel from Kochi - Kuwait on the 26th August 2008. Due to unseen circumstances, we had to postpone the travel date to a later date. We had informed our travel agent in Kuwait to have the ticket postponed to the 31st of August 2008. We had been trying from the 21st of August to the 30th of August 2008 to have all three tickets confirmed for the 31st August 2008, but we were always given a reply that my wife was still on waiting list.

We called the Jet airway call center in Kochi and was advised if we had contacted them 2-3 days ago then they could have confirmed all three tickets. We are just trying to figure out how such a treatment could be given to passengers travelling on business class. We felt sorry how Jet airways must have been treating their other passengers.

We have decided that this would be the last time we ever put our trust on an airlines like Jet airways, where there is no cordination and proper support from anyone. It would be best if passengers coming from the Middle east take up a cheap airline like Jazeera. Hey lets face it, its just a 4 hours flight, when you come to think of the treatment by an airline like Jet airways.

                  Best regards,

I booked a ticket on Jetlite on 12th Aug for 4 o[censored]s to fly from Delhi to Bangalore on 10th Oct.
Paid Rs 21, 000 for the 4 tickets.

2 weeks later I wanted to change this reservation to fly back on 12th Oct.
I checked on the internet and fares had dropped to Rs 17, 500 for the 4 tickets, plus they were refundable fares !

I called up the airline in the hope that they would just be able to change the dates on the tickets for me - I did not expect or want a refund of the difference or anything...just wanted to change the dates !

The airline staff completely refused to accomodate my request saying that even though I had paid a higher fare, it was a Non-Refundable ticket and I would have to pay Rs 7400 as cancellation fees if I wanted to make this change.

Worldwide typically if you pay a higher fare you get a Refundible ticket - here it is the reverse ! I paid a higher fare for a Non-Refundible ticket and there is a lower fare being sold that is Refundible.

I am extremely frustrated by the airline and their staff's attitudes.

                    Jetlite — Fluctuating Fares

I am a international passenger and tried to book a roundtrip from Delhi to Gorakhpur. WHile I was trying to book the ticekte I saw the fare if Rs 11083/-, after all the credit card info page I was shown a error and was asked to talk to an agent. After making international call from US I got hold of agent and he told me the PNR BOKSTY and tried to book the ticket which again failed through IVR system, then he told me that fares has increased by Rs 200 and I was worried about more increase and without thinking twice I booked it for Rs 11283 with PNR MPDIDY. This all happened at 4pm EST and 2:30am IST, now at 12:20 EST when I check the fares it is Rs 10883. DO you think I made a good deal??? This way no one can book a ticket at cheaper rate. I called up Jetlite again to explain me these fare changes and was told thats how the system works. I feel I am cheated by airline. All the major airlines and inline sites give fare gaurantee kind of program and do price matching. I guess Jetlite needs to update their system not to change fares this often, not even 8 hrs past this happened. I feel airline should refund the balance amount to me as the rate has come down in les than 12 hrs time.

                      Dear Sir,

I arrived in Chennai on Jetairways flight number 9W 225 from Newark via Brussels on August 12th 2008 at 5.20 am . The flight was delayed at Brussels. The scheduled arrival time in Chennai was 12.45 AM. One of my bags was misplaced and arrived only this morning. I had declared the contents of the missing bag to Jetairways customer service at Chennai airport on arrival. The contents included a new laptop computer costing U.S $ 1000. In the bag that arrived the laptop is missing. I contacted Jetairways customer service by phone[protected] and they asked me to send an email regarding this- the email was never replyed and I had to call Jet Airways on a daily basis. I still havent spoken with the baggage services manager. One junior employee told me that I should have paid a valuation charge at check in and only with payment of this charge would my valuables be guaranteed safe and me eligible for compensation. With all due respect I was not made aware of any valuation charges and was certainly not made aware of any of these rule prior to check in. I think its the duty of the airline to keep passengers aware of these rule prior to boarding and I do believe it is the airlines responsibility and fault in this matter. I have lodged a complaint in consumer forum and with the newspapers - as a frequent flyer from Newark to Chennai I feel cheated and the airline has been extremely unprofessional in its customer service with delays and inadequate information. I would warn other consumers to be aware of the airlines shortcomings.
                      Thank you, Tuhina Raman

                      Hi,

I travelled from Toronto to Delhi via Brussels flying Jet Airways. Landed in Delhi on the 4th of May. My baggage was missing and was only delivered 9 days after. I was asked by the concerned department (Ruchika...Lokesh??) to submit my eTicket (return to Toronto) for claim purposes. I had already done this on the 4th of May but still sent an email to baggageservices as adviced by a personel from the department. I have been told that the compensation has been approved from Mubai HQ, but I am still waiting to hear back. I am travelling to Toronto on the Saturday, 7th May, 2:45 am by Jet Airways (yet again) and am quite dissapointed by the level of service provided. Let me be clear that all the personnel i ahve spoken to thus far have been quite co-operative ; However, I am having to follow up continuosly on this and am not recieving any feedback unless i place the calls.

3 numbers were provided to me in this regard and even after trying for 3 days continuously they dont go through. the numbers are:

                      [protected]
                      [protected]
                      [protected]

Please note that the lock on the baggage was also broken at the time of delivery and I had initimated the jet airways personel. I did not notice any missing items but again I would never know.

I hope some action will be taken upon this complaint.

I travelled from Pune to Lucknow via New Delhi on 1st Nov. 2010 Jet connect, on arrival learnt that one of my bag was missing, same was brought to the notice of the staff of “loss & found department” & also a complaint was lodged.
I was assured that the baggage would reach our home in Kanpur on 2nd morning, sorry to say that there has been no intimation from the jet airways.
Infact, I have made several calls , response has always been very disappointing saying that they have been unable to trace the baggage.

Kindly you tell me, what is the passenger suppose to do for no fault of his/hers.
On the contrary there were lot of essential & expensive things in the bag, as i was returning from Pune and was bringing gifts for my family and at the time of missing my bag was costing about Rs.10 Lakh including my clothes, shoes, perfume and gifts for my family. This has caused lot of inconvenience .
We only hope that we receive the bag intact & at the earliest.

I travelled from New York to Hyd on Jet Airways on March 9th and the airline lost my baggae. I called repeatedly and emailed many times but to no avail. My missing baggage number is HYD 9W16872.

It has been more than two months and they have neither found my bag nor compensated me. This is very shameful. I had an important and expensive car part in the box and had paid an additional $200 for additonal baggage.
My complain no. SIN 9W13881. Baggage was given for through from Vadodara to Singapore on 19.05.17. Flight from Vadodara to Mumbai delayed. Passenger h ad boarded flight to Singapore on last moment. Baggage was not handed over at Singapore. Above mentioned complain was registered at Singapore. Then I m following up with customerscare no. 39893333 daily since 20.05.17 morning. Today 27.05.17, no information received not the baggage. To surprise, today phoned four times and receiving recorded message that all executives are busy. Can jet airways reimburse me for the inconvenience and stress.

                      REMINDER 2
See in attachment what happens in this Country and in India with your service.
My Deputy traveled from Nairobi to Lubumbashi in Inter-regional flight. His bag was left out in Nairobi. Flight reached Lubumbashi without bag. He was immediately given a voucher o[censored]SD 100 as per attachment to collect the same from their Sales offices but what you did to me? Its now 2 months and 22 days but you are still buying time and giving me fake promises.
I have made sure that I never buy Jet Air ticket in the future ever since this incidence happened with me and I have to travel India again on 2nd Oct 17 and I have purchased Indigo ticket between Bombay-Chandigarh Sector. This is all because of your hopeless approach to redress the grievance.
Can I hear from you soon ? Can you give the finality? I am waiting for your response so that I decide whether I should take legal route at the earliest.
                      Hoping to hear from you.

                      Dear Narayan
Please find attached herewith the claim form duly filled-in alongwith scanned copies of relevant receipts.
Kindly get the following clarification below:
                      1. RWF stands for Rwandese Francs. The exchange rate at the time of purchase was 1 USD = 640 Rwf.
                      2. CDF stands for Congolese Francs. The exchange rate at the time of purchase was 1 USD = 1300 CDF. In Democratic Republic of Congo both local currency CDF and USD is used for transactions.
                      3. INR stands for Indian Rupees and
                      4. USD stands for United States of America Dollars and the exchange rate currently is 1 USD = 64.20 INR.
                      5. If we apply the conversion of all currencies; we come to the following sum:
RWF: 232, 355.00 equivalent to USD 363.00 equivalent to INR 23305.00
                      CDF : 77, 400.00 equivalent to USD 60.00 equivalent to INR 3852.00
                      USD: 241.32 equivalent to 15493.00
                      INR: 12, 010.00
                      TOTAL INR : 54, 660.00
Please note that above is actual loss amount. I am not claiming the parking fee that I paid 3 times to visit Chandigarh Airport apart from indirect losses on account of Mental duress, frustration and substantial wastage of my holidays as I had to visit several times to your Chandigarh office and at one time with the concerned police officials and your Manager had assured that within 21 days I would get an email from their office resolving my issue which never happened. Only after 2 months; you people responded me with an offer of insignificant amount which is not at all acceptable to me.
I had to make all new shirts and trousers and that also resulted in loss of money and postponement of my scheduled programmes in India as tailor takes his own time to stitch them. If I calculate that damages, it may run into lacs of rupees and I keep that right reserved to claim from the court of law ; if you are not interested in resolving the issue amicably.
Please also note that as per normal practice; no one keeps the receipts of shoes, clothes, turban etc.for a long period of time and as such I too misplaced them but that should not be considered as illegitimate claim howsoever small the amount is.
Hope you find all documents in order and settle my claim as fast as possible before I take any legal route.
I thank you in advance for understanding my position and settling the claim on top priority without taking much longer time.
                      Regards.

                      Dear Narayan
The biggest mistake that you made was that while checking the CCTV footage; you did not involve me. You can never identify the bag of someone else unless the owner himself identifies. Had I been involved; I would have certainly identified my bag.
Anyways; I am going to send you claim form with items description very shortly but please remember that one does not retain receipts of all items like shirts, trousers and turben etc which was purchased earlier and one should understand this fact that if someone is travelling for a month or so; he is not expected to travel without clothes.
Expect the receipt of my claim form duly filled in today.
                      Regards.

                      Dear Mr. Sehmi,

This is in further reference to your email dated August 08, 2017.

We truly regret that your baggage could not be located when you travelled on flight 9W498 from Mumbai to Chandigarh on dated June 08, 2017 and perforce we had to declare it lost.

Please do not think even for a moment that we are insensitive to the inconvenience caused to you on the said day. We do realize the impact such a situation has on the convenience of our guest and we do not undermine all that you had to go through on the said day.
All our attempts including involving the airports of Mumbai and Chandigarh were not fruitful. We have also checked the CCTV footage at Chandigarh Airport with the help of local authorities. As there were number of black bags, your bag could not be identified and nothing noticeable was found. We regret to mention here that despite our best efforts to trace your bag, we have so far not succeeded in locating it and hence is being treated as having been lost.
On behalf of Jet Airways, we express our deep regret for all the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced due to your missing baggage.
Please be advised, the compensation amount offered was on basis of weight of the lost checked-in baggage which in your case is INR 4550/-.

If you are in acceptance of the above compensation, we request you to kindly sign the attached Release and Indemnity form and forward the scanned copy to us.

In case you are not satisfied with the above mentioned compensation, we would request you to share the scan copy of the bills/receipt for the items that were in the missing bag for us to review. In keeping with the laid down guidelines of our Internal Audit department, only computerised bills and the Manual bill with VAT/TIN no. will be considered while verification of the claim amount.

Along with the bills, kindly update the attached claim form and forward the scanned copy to us.

We shall review the bills and advise you on the same.

                      Thanks and regards,

                      Dear Chinmaya Karandikar
It is yet another example of your pathetic approach in respect of resolving issues of severely affected passengers.
You are settling it at Rs. 4550 which is not even anywhere near the bag value. The bag itself was o[censored]SD 140.
You have given me enough mental duress and I strongly condemn the same.
You don't even know that being a Non Resident Indian I can not maintain any local Indian account other than NRE or NRO and NRE a/c can not entertain local currency other than foreign convertible currency. You don't even know that NRO account is good enough to accept your payment then there is nothing wrong on my part to conclude about your little knowledge and what should have I expected from you to redress my grievance suitably.
I have been given tough time by you and you should be ashamed of having offered me only Rs. 4550 that too after a period of exactly 2 months from the date of non-delivery of my bag. You never involved me in even identifying my bag through your CCTV recordings despite my repeated requests and it appeared to me as if you are protecting someone for stealing my bag.
I am sending herewith the scanned copy of my bank account being maintained in Yes Bank, Mohali which is good enough to accept this amount in Indian Rupees.
I am taking this amount under strong protest without prejudice.
                      Sincerely,
                      LAKHBIR SINGH SEHMI

I was on board a jet airways flight from London to Mumbai and my baggage got left over at London. It should be noted that during the journey, i could not walk due to a ligament injury.I had lodged an official complaint with the Jet Airways baggage services at the Mumbai airport. The bag was delivered to my address in Nagpur the following day. The following was noted:

                        1. No seal on the bag.
                        2. One of the external locks was missing.
                        3. The chains connected to the number lock were cut and missing.

Upon inspection of the luggage, many items were found to be missing and lost. I then lodged an official complaint with the jet airways baggage and security departments. They conducted an investigation which obviously did not come up with anything.

Any inquiries regarding compensation or further action regarding the stolen items did not get any replies from the concerned people at jet airways.

I am appalled at the response from Jet airways as well as hope that other disabled passengers do not have to suffer similar things.

Jet Airways — Missing items in Check in Baggage

I recently came from Chicago thru Jet Airways . When I reached home and open up the checked in Baggage , and found that some of my electronic items was missing. Immediately I lodged the complaint with full details to Jet Airways Authority but in vain. Still I didn't get my items. So please careful when u travel in Jet airways

Jet Airways — Items in the checked in baggage missing

I have reached Chennai from Miami thru Mewark and Brussels on 06th May 2010. I had started my journey on 04th May 2010 and I had checked in my Baggages thru American Airlines on 03rd May 2010. I had the flight AA 1866 from Miami to Newark and the flights 9W 227 and 9W 225 from Newark to Brussels and Brussels to Chennai correspondingly. I had got back both my checked in baggages on the date and time of my arrival to chennai. But when I reached my home and unpacked my baggage, I was shocked to see some of the items from one of my bags are missing. I tried to find a number or some online way to make a complaint in Jet airways, whcih I could not find anything. Hence I am making it thru this. I need my things back and the culprit who had looted the items should be removed from the job, due to some people like them, the service of the airlines is getting damaged. I don't know why the people want to eat other people's money. I would like to get some justice on this. Hoping I will get some.

The baggage number to track is [protected] and my name as per the passneger list is Chandramouli/Eswar Seetharaman.

Please contact [protected] for further details.

                        Thanks and Regards,
                        Eswar S.C.
I had a similar experience with Jet Airways. My family and I flew from Atlanta to Chennai via Newark on Jet departing May 27 and arriving on May 28. However, the baggage did not arrive with us and was delivered the night of May 29. Upon inspection, we noticed that several items were stolen from the luggage.

As per instructions, I have provided the luggage tags and list of missing items to [protected]@jetairways.com on May 30 and have prodded them 3 times, but still haven't heard from them.

The whole experience with Jet Airways has been an ordeal thus far and the unresponsiveness of customer relations makes it a whole lot worse. A response to [protected]@yahoo.com would be greatly appreciated.

but the flight was cancelled and the passenger was asked to make the travel arrangements with MDLR on that day. It was told that the payments for the ticket booked on Jetlite will be reimbursed to the credited account.

It has been 7 months that no repayments have been made to the credited account. The bank is sending me the statements every month and the interest is being added day by day. Earlier I was under the misconception that there is some discrepancy at the part of bank but after seeing all their records I have come to know that no payments has been send back to my account. This is harrasing me alot.

I request you to check your records and make the repayment to the account to avoid all the hassels and relive me from mental harrasment.

                            Dear Kavya,

Please refer to the telephonic discussions we had on Friday, 18/07/2008, wherein you mentioned that you have a baggage policy with BMI for through checkin and you will be getting back to me in 2-3 days. Now I have some interesting facts to put in front of Jet Airways, which Iam sure they are aware of and are purposefully not accepting it.

I had followed the case with also my office in London and asked them to get in touch with BMI so that I can get the facts straight. If You will go to official BMI website(www.flybmi.com) and go to terms and conditions and then to booking terms and conditions, going to the heading transfer passengers-It clearly states that passenger with connecting journeys using separate tickets are not eligible for facility of through checkin or through tagging of baggage.Only pasengers with single ticket wih one booking are eligible for this facility.

Now in my case I Had my iteniary as follows-30 june Delhi-London Heathrow-Jet airways, Tckt No.[protected] pnr-Fueglq flight No.9w122

From London-Durham Tees valley(MME) it was -30th june, Airline -BMI, BD340, Ticket no[protected], pnr-BD/H6FZ4.So i was not eligible for through check as I was having two separate ticket no.s and two separate pnr no.s.

So you can clearly see that it was entirely the mistake of the jet crew who asked me to through check in and did that eventually not being well informed about the terms and conditions, and because of that I lost my 2 days of work and eventually had to spend money from my pocket.(Please note that My company charges 1000 USD per day for the work I do for the client, that means a loss of 2000 USD for my company, besides the oppurtunity cost and harrasement and delay etc).Iam being very considerate till now to ask only for the amount spend from my pocket but still Jet airways is not ready to pay for the mistake they commited.

I have been really pushed around by Jet from long and still I have to waste so much time on mails and money on the phone calls to Jet since there is no response from Jet till now. Please take the corrective action fast as my patience is fast running out.If I dont get a quick response from Jet I will be forced to go to consumer court and offcourse to media.

                            Best Regards

                            Deepak Singh

                            Dear Wilky,

Please refer to our teletalk of today morning.I am forwarding the mail I sent to jetairways and also in the cc you can find the addresses it was forwarded to.I have got absolutely no feedback from Jet Airways and as discussed you can circulate the mail to all the corporate contacts so that we can show them how this airline operates.About the second option, I will wait for today and then will come back to you for excersing it.

TO JET AIRWAYS OFFICIALS-Iam really appalled and disgusted by the turn of events happening since 30th june 2008 wherein no support has been provided by jet officials (in london at heathrow airport and also at delhi international airport).and now no body answers my mail. However please be certain that I will not leave this here and will take it quite further(like going for legal action which I dont want to exercise but the attitude of JET airways is forcing me to.I lost two days of my work in Teeside because my checked baggage had now arrived, so I will not all tyhe costs to Jet Airways).

                            regards

                            Dear Baggage sevices,

I had flown on jet airways on 30th june 2008 from Delhi-London.on tckt no.[protected] pnr-fueglq.The flight was 9w122-Del-lhr and from heathrow I flew to Durham Tees Valley(MME) on British midland flight BD 340.My baggage tag no. was 0589 9W070983.The copy of baggage tag and boarding pass is attached for your ready reference.Iam also a J.P memeber from last many years and my J.P. No. is[protected].

My baggage was through checked in by jet airways in delhi till Durham tees valley(MME).On reaching Durham Tees Valley I was suprised to find that my baggage has not arrived, and the airline officials made me wait for 1 hour. After checking my baggage tag they informed me that most probably my baggage has been left behind in Heathrow and I need to come to airport in the morning to check the wareabouts of my baggage. Also they informed that it is mistake of Jet airways as they had wronly throu cheked in my baggage(they categorically mentioned that it is clearly written in their website that they dpont except throu checkin baggages).I was flatly told that they will not be able to pay any compensation to me and also I will have to come to airport personally to collect the baggage as it is not their fault and they will not incurr any kind of cost for the same.I came the next day morning from hotel to airport (on01/07/08) but I was informed that they are not able to trace my baggage.and I need to call them in the evening from to know the status I had to go back to the hotel(an expense of 40 pounds in the taxi).when i called on evening my baggage was still not traced.Since all my clothes and toiletries were in my checked baggage I was forced to by some clothes and toiletriesIn Teeside (an expense of 20 pounds, reciept of 15 pounds is attached and 5 pounds is lost).Next day finally at 3.00 in the evening I got my baggage again travelling to the airport in taxi and coming back to hotel(Another expense of 40 pounds).I had to incurr total expense of 40+40+20=100 pounds without any fault of mine and I got my baggage after more than 40 hours.Needless to say I was out on some work but for two days I couldnt report to work as I was not able to work because of my checked in baggage.Because of this delay I had also to go through lot of emotional turmoil and harrasment. This was a fault on part of Jet airways.Anyhow when i came back to Heathrow on 09/07/08 I reported the matter to Jet Airways in Heathrow, and to my utter surprise I was bluntly told that it is a mistake of jet airways in Delhi and they are liable to pay compensation for the same and he gave me a complaint form which he directed to handover to the crew of (9w121.).Things didnt end here when I reahed delhi airport(10/07/08) to my horror I found that my baggage was this time broken (the lock and the handle was broken)by jet airways.(baggage tag no.9w314204).I again filed a property irregarailty report, since I had to travel to Vadodara a day after I got the baggage repaired by my own.I had called on 11/07/08 to jet baggage services in delhi(phone no.25675402/[protected] AND SPOKE TO MS DIANA about the incident which happened with me in England. She gave me an assurance that Jet airways will come back to me on how are they going to compensate me for the expenses and the mental agony I have gone through because of there repeated mistakes.

Please let me know how to proceed on the matter and get my money back which I already spent because of Jet Airways mistakes.I can be reached on my mobile at [protected].

I would offcourse will b forced to take a legal opinion and action if I fail to hear from Jet airways.

                            waiting for your reply.

                            Hello Sir,
This is Ekta Alreja, a correspondent with Times of India group. I have often seen these kind of problems arising with passengers. The airlines never keep up to their promises an unecessarily harass the passnegers. I would like to bring it to the notice of concerned authorities by printing your story in our newspaper. This was authorities will also be giving you a quick response...

Thanks..looking forward for your reply...my email id is ekta.[protected]@gmail.com..please provide me with your contact details so that we can take up the issue as soon as possible
My son was traveling from Newark to Amirthsar. He traveled on the 28th of Oct 9w123 and he still has not recieved his baggage as yet. He did not have any of his stuff with him so he had to buy some things that he needed. We will be sending you the bill and I am confidant that you will cover the cost. He was promised that the luggage was going to arrive today but it has not yet.
This was the first time that my son has traveled on his own he is only 18 years old I am a little dissapointed with the whole thing. Please send me an email and let me know what the progress is.

                            Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that i boarded flight no.9W 591 from Bahrain on 4th December 2008. When i reached Bombay i realized that Jet airways Bahrain had give me one less baggage tag and instead of 8 tags 7 were given.

I then spoke to one of the staff and informed her as to what action i should take now. She said she was sorry and that i should liaise from Bahrain and not from here.

From thet day onwards i have been going around in circles and still there is no information about my baggage. Along with my new clothes, i have also put some perishable items which may start smelling and is a cause for concern.

I would need to be compensated fairly for my baggage and the anguish it has caused me for each days delay.

Thanking you and with best regards,
                            Zila Wylde

Jet Airways is a new carrier serving the Toronto-New Delhi Sector. I am a frequent flier with JA . On the last three consecutive occasions that I have traveled with them from various destinations (eg. London -Delhi/Toronto-Delhi) they have delayed the delivery of my luggage. For two of these occasions they have not paid due compensation. On the first of these incidents my bag was delayed by over a month and the airline misinformed me that they deposited the compensation in my bank account. I later discovered this was not so and reported the matter back to them but with no response. The second time was more recent i.e 6th December 2008 from Toronto to Delhi where the luggage was delivered three-four days later but no interim compensation was given to me. I think I have written to everyone from customer relations baggage services, airport manager and even their head of public relations Ragini Chopra. If I call to follow up they keep referring me to other officials or making excuses. It seems like the airline is not ready to provide professional services internationally. They dont have code share agreements with a large number of international airlines and luggage does not go through seamlessly. What is worrying is the attitude of non cooperation from the airline and the blatant dishonesty when it comes to compensating people on tie as per Montreal convention rules. I noticed a number of people had lost their luggage while traveling with Jet. I strongly advise anyone reading this message not to travel Jet - I unfortunately am a "Jet privilege" customer (I used to be a frequent flier) I now will avoid them as far as possible.

I had similar experience with Jet Airways when I through checked baggage at Cochin while boarding the Jet Airways flight to Delhi on 9-8-2009. I boarded the Jet Airways flight to Brussels on[protected]. At Delhi Airport the ground staff of Jet Airways reassured me that the baggage was loaded on to the aircraft. However, when I landed at final destination at FARO (Portugal) by Brussels Airlines, (Jet Airways code share with Brussels Airlines) I found that the baggage has not arrived.

Brussels Airlines promptly gave me Property Irregularity Report on[protected]. They later informed me that Jet Airways was not co-operating to locate the checked baggage. After I returned to Cochin after travel abroad Jet Airways called me to inform me that the baggage was lying at Delhi Airport. Later on[protected] they just dumped the baggage at my residence. Jet Airways did not care to explain how they failed to load the baggage to Brussels bound aircraft of Jet Airways.

They did not compensate me for delay. I had sent all tags and reports in original to my insurance company. The Insurance Company too is fighting shy of compensating me.
My son travelled from USA to delhi in dec 2009.
                            Luggage was delivered after 7days
the Jet airways says not liabel to pay compensation, as case finled out side Delhi
                            any guidance
                            Thanks

                              Dear friends,

For those who do not know me, here is a brief introduction. My name is Sharmila Maiti. I am a journalist with Ananda Bazar Patrika Group, Kolkata.

Today (26.06.08) I had a pathetic experience with JetLite airlines. I think it is a duty to share this so that it comes of as a genuine alert to all of you.

I was travelling from Mumbai to Kolkata in Jetlite flight no. S2 703 from Santa Cruz Airport. I had two small suitcases as luggage. At the counter, the JetLite ground staff (who was not carrying his name badge) told me that total luggage weight of my bags is 29 kgs, i.e, 9 kgs excess. And for that excess luggage I need to pay Rs. 550 as fine. It surprised me because, with the same luggage I travelled from Kolkata to Mumbai by Kingfisher Airlines, where it weighed below 20 kgs. And I did not put anything extra into it.

I told them that it is unbelievable for me and I would like to weigh my luggage from a separate machine of a different airline. They did not comply with my request. "If you have any doubts, you can weigh it from any other machine o[censored]s, but not other airlines, " The boy said. I had to agree. When they weighed the same bags from another machine, the reading was 33 kgs!! And hey presto, the same boy said, "Madam, you have to pay for 13 kgs extra since the previous reading was incorrect."

I stood there for 15 minutes and noticed that, every two out of three passengers had to pay for no less than 8-14 kgs as 'excess' luggage, though their bags don't look that huge!!

Now I clearly told them that, THE FAULT LIES WITH WEIGHING MACHINE. YOUR TWO MACHINES ARE GIVING CONTRADICTORY READINGS. PLUS, I TRAVELLED WITH THE SAME BAGS CONTAINING THE SAME ITEMS AND DID NOT FACE ANY EXCESS LUGGAGE PROBLEM. SO I AM SURE THAT MY LUGGAGE WEIGHT DOES NOT EXCEED 20 KGS.

Neways, meanwhile this boy discussed something with his coleagues, and told me, "You don't have to pay for 9 kgs or 13 kgs for excess luggage. Paying for 8 kgs would be ok. You have to pay 952 bucks only."

I asked, if 9 kgs excess costs me 550 bucks, how come 8 kgs be 952 bucks? The boy said, "Madam, I miscalculated the amount. you need to pay 119 bucks per excess kg. I am sorry for that, but you have to pay this much. Otherwise we will block your luggage."

First of all contradictory readings and then confusing payments! As if excess luggage was something to be bargained and settled!! I straigtaway complained to a lady, who happened to take care of the JetLite passengers, (reluctant to divulge her name) about the faulty readings of weight machines. She not only refused to listen to me, but also INSULTED me on top of her voice saying, "If you dont have the money to pay, you dont have to board on a flight. There are trains and bus for you people!"

Even complaining to their manager fell into deaf ears. He did not even care a fig to listen to me. I had no other means than to pay the amount.

                              There was more in store.
Inside the flight, the cabin crew provided us with a bid-and-buy form alongwith a scratch-n-win coupon. I scratched and got a Louis Quartz wristwatch worth Rs. 3990. As per the norms, I needed to pay Rs. 490 as tax to collect the item. On arrival to Netaji Subhash Chandra Airport, I went to the respective counter. To my utter dismay, the item which they showed to me was not at all an original Louis Quartz. It was packed in an ordinary plastic container, the watch inside carried a 'faded' logo of Louis Quartz. On asking, the person sitting at the counter told straightaway that the watch is made in India. When I asked for the warranty card, she said that no warranty card, but only cash memo would be given.
Honestly speaking, I wonder if the cost of the watch is even Rs.550, forget about Rs. 3990! I did not take it thinking even my 490 bucks would not be enough for this.

So, in a nutshell, here are the 3 reasons for not boarding a JetLite plane---

                              1. They install FAULTY WEIGHT MACHINES and harrass their passangers by charging extra money. Since most of the passangers are not sure about the weight of their luggage, and all of them are in a hurry to board their flight, JetLite plays a prank on them.

                              2. Their ground staffs are not only irresponsible, but also ill-mannered.

                              3. In the name of scratch-n-win gifts, they provide FAKE branded items.

If you have any similar experience with JetLite, please share with me. I am going to write a consumer awareness article in our esteemed daily. Also informing consumer rights forum about this incident.

Please pass this message to as many persons as possible. Never ever entertain such fraudulant airlines cheating their passangers.

                              Best wishes

Recently I travelled to hyderabad by Jetlite airways from mumbai. I was given a lucky scratch card, and I got a Louis quartz wrist watch. The price of the watch on the card was Rs. 3990, whereas I had to pay Rs. 490. How do I know the authenticity of the watch, since I did not receive any guarantee card from the company.

I Don't think the Louis quartz wrist watch offered by jet Light is real . I've read many posting about people complaining of the same thing . And I myself got the same scratch card( from Jet Light flight ) and got the watch, but I'm not going to claim it .
So far, I new lot o[censored]nauthorised private companies do this kind of thing, I'm really surprised to see a company like Jet Light is doing the same and virtually no one can do much about it . All the best to the 8% GDP growth of India .

IS THIS A COMBINATION WHICH YOU GUYS SERVE TO YOUR GUEST AND TO TOP IT UP BESIDES WATER THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE SERVED TO FIVE O[censored]S, NO TEA OR COFFEE WAS SERVED, AND THE REASON GIVEN BY YOUR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER DEVOTED STAFF WAS "THIS IS A SHORT SECTOR AND WE NEED TO CLEAR THE TRAYS AND THEN A SORRY WITH A SMILE ON THE FACE OF ALL YOUR CREW MEMBERS TO END IT ALL". I AM REALLY PISSED OFF WITH THE WAY WE ARE WERE TREATED.

THE FLIGHT DETAILS FOR YOUR REFERENCE ARE : Booking Reference no. (PNR): IEHQOI & Booking Reference no. (PNR): DOVTRD.

                                    Dear Concerned,
I must say that the services offered by Jetlite are not less then simply being pathetic. This is the last thing I could expect from Jet. Few of the problems I faced are 1) Flight delayed by 3-4 hours, however no proper information given on airport 2) In case of delay atleast snacks should have been provided at airport 3) After boarding flight, it was informed Aircrafts AC is not working due to technical reasons 4) Food served is horrible. The real juice packet servered was so hot that it tasted liked a medicine syrup and the burgur servred was as cold as it can get. 5) Loss of baggage. There is no verification of the luggage delivered at destination. In such cases anyone can walk with anyones luggage. There is no response w.r.t. loss of baggage.

I expect a response to the above problems stated. The flying experience has been terrible and would never recomend anyone flying by Jetlite henceforth.

I am very sorry to say that this year Holidays I had undergone lot of mental stress, turmoil, inconvinience and immense hardship for no fault of mine .

I was on a holiday trip to Fareast and JetAirways Mishandled my baggage and this incident happened on the very start and first leg of my tour.I lost all my and my wife"s cloth, Mobile chargers, immitation jewellary toiletaries etc.We had to spend entire trip on single pair of clothes as i was not carring that much money and was also finding the place too expensive.

JetAirways have now declared the baggage as Lost and is compensating only Rs.16, 264/- for the same, although my clothes and articles are worth Rs.74, 000/- app.

                                        Hello Sir,

I, along with my family took a jetlite flight frm bangalore to hyderabad yesterday and I was offered 3 scratch cards and suprisingly I won a watch worth around 4000, pearl set worth 2000 and reebok bag worth 1000 accorindgto the details printed on those scratch cards i.e there was a prize on all the three scratch cards. I was excited to claim the gifts after disembarking the flight and I did take it by paying 980 ( 490 for watch and 490 for pearl set, reebok bag looked very cheap and I dont think its original so I didnt opt for it) . When I came home and searched for the brand name of watch in net I could hit only complaints here and brand is no where visible. Jetlite and AVA are selling some nameless products by quoting heavy MRP under the disguise of offering heavey discount.

People are being taken for ride by Jetlite and AVA, I am still puzzled why jetlite needs to do this to spoil their image themselves.

I paid 490 for a watch which is not even worth 300 I guess, this is pure cheating. I have abserver that more or less everybody ahs won and all of them have won only these cheap, brandless and nameless products, I didnt come across anybody who has won either philips, samsung, swatch or other branded stuff. Intrestingly it was written on scratch card that in case the prizes won are from these branded stuff tickets need to be sent to a given address and then the gifts will be sent home.

This itself shows their how they are fooling the customers, jetlite together with Ava is disposing all the cheap stuff, I think such cheap tricks should be put to an end .

                                        Hi Nataraja,

I am in total agreement with you. The cheap products the example of watch ur giving ... when i called up helpline they did not even ask me fr PNR number and other journey details it looks like anyone who has never ever tavelled jetlite can also call n get those cheap brandless products by paying 490 rupees which they name as taxes..

we should procee to AVA n jetlite for a clarification on this and also ...ask jetlite to provide sufficient proof for the cost of products displayed.

                                        Regards,

Jetlite — They conned me with a fake prize

                                        Hi

I traveled by Jetlite flight, and there was a scratch to win contest. At the Delhi Airport, they asked me to pay Rs.500 to redeem my coupon for a pearl necklace. They did not give me any receipt. After I did that, they gave me a box that was not sealed. I didn't want to open it in the airport and I went home and the box was empty. I have emailed and contacted them but to no avail. Can someone advise?
I am also a victim of Jetlite. I will Never again book a Jetlight flight in future

                                        Hi All,
I completely agree with the above statement, Today my father came from Kolkata to delhi by jet light, he was also offer to scratch a card, in which he won a gift getting an option to redeem between - Louis Wrist Watch T-176 or Classique Pearl Set T-175 -, however demanded for 600 Rs. as Tax before redeeming the voucher, After reading above encounters, I am sure this is a very cheep way to get 600 Rs. from ever passangers pocket.

Please beware of this airline's fraudulent practices !!!

I purchased one watch Paul Phillippe. It appears to be of good quality.
I have a same kind of complaint wd Jetlite this is realy a clear case of cheating they dont hv any right to cheat the customers like this, in future i wl never travell from Jetlite this is confirm, nd these kind of things not expected out of big companies.i ws travelled from jammu to srinagar and back.
I also completely agree with the comments above. while travelling from delhi to cochin on 10th dec09, i also won a paul phillipe wrist watch. while trying to open the strap i found it damaged. while serching for the service centers in my town through net i found there is no such site itself. i am really ashammed to the jet airline services by cheating their passengers.
I have a similar experience and at the moment Jet-lite charging 599 for the same. The original name of the company is Paul Philippe watches and Jet-lite people made fake Paul Phillippe watches. I visited India recently and while travelling from Nagpur to Mumbai this incident happened. This cheap act by Jet-lite spoilers India image.
Dear All, The learning is again same. Never fall for free gifts etc bvecause nothing is free in this world. There is always a hidden agenda. Pls be always careful.

these makin fool of evry1, i jst purchased dis paul phillippe wrist watch(fake name), the original brand is paul philippe...

had a bad xperience, such a big name jet airways spoiling dre image, i suggest u all, never to travel in dis flight... :x
PLS DONT EVER BUY NOR TRAVEL BY this FLIGHT ...
                                        Hi everybody,

The same happened with my husband . He was offered a scratch card which had reedemable gifts - pearl set and paul phillippe wrist watch. I tried to search on net but could not find any such brand. They have completely fooled us as we ended up paying 700 for this watch whose MRP was displayed as 4000/+. Jet lite should be ashamed of its cheap marketing tactics because at the end of the day they are earning nothing but poor brand image for itself. People should raise their voice against such fradulent practices of the company. This is just not acceptable!!
Everybody is just writing their complaints. But can we know who is taking care of these complaints??? Any updates or whatsoever??? I was thinking of redeeming my gift voucher but thank God I came across this site.
Can't we take some legal action? Is there any body where complaint can be sent? Can the moderator HELP?
I am also a victim. Next time I will not fly with Jetlit
Thanks for the heads up. I too got some prize in scratch cards and after reading this, I am dropping the Idea of sending them money.
I am a victim too after paying Rs. 599 for a watch which they said is worth Rs. 4500 along with a jewelry set.

I wanted to present it to my mom and later noticed that the watch they gave can be bought for Rs.60 at Chennai Burma Bazar with smart bargaining. The max the people at the bazar sell is for Rs. 150... But this Naresh Goyal (The man who said he could not see his employees in tears) and his team are bent on fooling people...

Mr. Naresh Goyal if you ever happen to read these complaints just make sure that you are gonna be bankrupt in a short time.

I know you may be laughing it off as something from just another irritated fool.

I believe in a God who is always having an eye over the good people and the bad people.
Here goes another story! I was also conned by this scam business promotions running by Jet-Lite, A fake "Paul Phillippe" wrist watch, this is one of the worst scam & fraud techniques attempted by a known name like JetLite. Easy way to fill their pockets, but it will harm their business dramatically in the long run. If this "con" business continues to victimized their customers, a voice must be raise to stop our nations pride by such scams practices, this is hogwash and absolutely rediculous! a footpath scam business in the family of JetLite which we always trusted back then.

Hope, JetLite would realised soon before its too late. I could already see heavy smokes filling up if they dont stop such scam promotions practices in future.

                                        Regards
                                        John
In agreement with all of you. I also got a scratch card while travelling from Bangalore to Kolkata. I was really tempted to claim the prize after arrival but thought of looking at the products in internet first before claiming and to my surprise I found all these posts. Good that I resisted my temptation. Jetlite should be sued for this mal-practice and their license to fly in India should be cancelled. Can't believe Indian government hasn't yet taken any step against these robbers.
I completely agree with the above comments...I am again another fool caught in this scam !!
I travelled form Kolkata to New Delhi last week and got this damn scratch from JetLite, won ( !! ) a Paul Phillippe watch. Thought like won a Kohinoor or something ( what a fool I have been !! ), but when I came back home and checked the brand on internet, I discovered it was all fake !!!
the original spelling is Paul Philippe, not Paul Phillippe ( pls note the extra "L" in Phillippe ). But it was late by then, I already had that chandni chowk stuff in my hand...
                                        What the [censored] !!
I wish Jetlite and AVA to provide proof that the product that I won through scratch card is really worth the price that they are quoting or else I would ask everyone to complain and the people should be returned the money. This happened today to me just before a major holiday, naturally people would be tempted to go for it. I feel the classique jewellery set is not worth the money they ask for it for handling and taxes.Jetlite should be held accountable for it.
Thanks everyone here for sharing this information. I have received these Gift vouchers recently and about to redeem, but thought of checking once on the net.

These people should realise they cannot make fool of people all the time. This will certainly dent the image of Jet Airways.
Thanks guys for letting me know i was thinking how its possible that they would sell a watch worth Rs 4000+ for Rs 600 . I too won the Paul Phillippe watch but thought i would redeem only after searching in net. Thank you all for the guidance
m anyways gonna get it, think worth it...I once won a Louis Philippe. Its still working fine
                                        Dear All,

Kindly stop panicking. The band may not be Swiss but its not that bad.

I too got a Louis Quartz watch. it does now exist as a brand http://www.webdesigning.name/louis/

The present watches on offer are Paul Philippe. It might not be of 60 but I guess its worth 600. guys get it
Jet lite seems not alone in this scam, I traveled to Kolkota from Guwahati on 25th May by Air India. Like you I too was elated at winning a Paul Phillipe watch on AVA scratch card. The prize was either the watch or a Hydrabad Pearl Set. Not to feel too guilty I purchased both items (one for myself and one for my wife) by paying Rs. 599/-. I now do not want to break her heart by telling her that what she thought to be a real pearl set costing Rs. 3000/- might be a fake one.

Its not the money wasted on such purchases, but the way the Airlines dupe us the gullible passengers that I feel very bad about. Its high time Indian Govt. take note of these scams and put a stop to such scams. Or next time we fly we demonstrate before AVA outlets with a placard, telling passengers not to be duped.
DEAR ALL, IT WAS NICE THAT I READ THIS BLOG AS I WAS ALSO IN THE BEELINE OF MAKING A FOOL OUT OF MYSELF. I TRAVELLED YESTERDAY FROM BANGALORE TO DELHI BY "AIR INDIA AI-404" AND IN THE SCRATCH CARD I WAS ALSO OFFERED THE SAME ITEMS, I WAS SHORT OF BEING FOOLED AS IT WAS TOO LATE IN THE NIGHT AND I DIDNOT HAVE TIME TO BUY. THANX TO ALL PEOPLE FOR AIRING THEIR VIEWS AND HELPING ME OUT IN NOT GETTING DUPED.
I am also one of the victims...
                                        Regards,
                                        Rajeev
I have been cheated by Air India, i travelled on 9 June 2011 from Varanasi ti Delhi and got scratch card. I have paid Rs. 599/- to AVA and they gave me wrist watch. Oh My God AIR INDIA is also cheaing.

                                        Noorul Huda
same here even i am Duped by the FAke Seller AVA. By the way did you use the watch ? what is your opinion about it ? is it worth keeping ? Is it working fine or already rusted ? . did anyone go for any refund for the watch . please reply.
oh my god! I also seem to have been cheated.Yesterday(21 july 2011) I travelled by AIR INDIA from Chennai to Delhi with my family and got 4 scratch coupons.I have bought a Paul Phillippe watch and a watch&jewellery set on payment of Rs. 599 for each of the product. When i searched the net they say that Paul Phillippe makes copies of original watches.Although it looks fine but now i am not sure about how long will it last since it is fake.I just want to give a word of caution to everyone who travels by any of the airlines not necessarily AIR INDIA to not be duped by such lucrative offers as they are never true. The fake seller is AVA and their customer service put me on a 6 min long hold and never responded when i called. They had 5 products mentioned in the scratch card including a blackberry phone and were willing to give any of the remaining 4 products except the phone even if the product did not appear in my card after scratching. They even did not bother to see the card as if it didn't matter and anyone could buy the products.
thanx to all those who have raised this issue ...i m having one such scratch card which i got on air india flight from hyderabad to delhi ...i have not yet redeemed my card...thanks a ton all...u people are like god sent.
i was about to pay them 699/- as this is a mere amount in fron of rs 4000/-
I traveled by Air India from Kolkata to Agartala on 31st July 2011. During the journey I was provided a scratch card of AVA Merchandising. After scratching I found that I have got a Paul Phillippe (Exact spelling on the card) wrist watch of original price Rs-34000 and I had have to pay just Rupees 699 to get that. After I purchased and told my brother about that, he told me that that was totally fake, because he has already purchased that watch on his last travel, as there is no such company or brand and the watch purchased from AVA is hardly of Rs 50 to 100 in the market, as it is just an imitation of the original brand. The original company/brand is Paul Philippe (not double "l" as in the fake one). I just want to ask how a big air company (Air India) is allowing this type of cheating to its customers?
why dont all the people complaining realise that no one is fooling you but your greed. you are not obliged to take the gift and pay... you are allowed to see what you are paying for... also the products may not be brands, but they are not flawed or bad... cant u see that AVA is gifting everyone and is only charging Rs 700 and so clearly they are giving products which are cheaper for them. Why else would they do this, they are not a charity, they need to sustain their business.
Ofcourse AVA is fooling us with MRP and claiming these to be big brands... but they are not fooling us with the brand name, it is correctly spelt... most big brands also do this while advertising, by promising us the world, for avg products... also dont think jetlite and Air India are at fault as they are only offering the scratch card
it is so easy to blame others, but why dont we realise its our greed to get costly products cheape which is leading us to pay Rs 700 for these items, which may be worth lower.
I too have bought the AVA pearl set and although i feel stupid, i only blame myself for being greedy.
                                        Jaago Grahak jaago
Hard earned money is taken away so easily by fooling us. Since jetlite name is combined to AVA merchandising, people do not think twice to buy the articles.Jetlite licence need to be cancelled. In india everything is easily manageble, if not despite start of complaints since year 2008, the gimmick lives till year 2011 and aims to grow. How many "Ramana", " Anniyan" movies comes also, these peole wont change. The only way is as shown in "ramana", people indulge in these activities shall feel unbearable pain for every pinch of money stolen. No one ever throws 10rupees note to gutter, yet 699 rupees is snatched with our consent infront of eyes and leaving us fuming.

Soon Jetairways will join forgotten airlines' NEPC, Damania, Air deccon or like Standar Motor company.
Never give patronage to travel by Jetairways. Tip everybody in your circle to spread it among corporate travellers .The message shall travel fast and effectively like epidemic.
They are still selling these fake brands. Why do we need airlines who are cheap crooks and who associate with cheap crooks? It's time the Prime Minister took a firm stand and stopped this racket - Jet charged me Rs. 450/- for three kilos from Kolkatta to Chennai and again another Rs. 450/- from Chennai to Madurai though I was booked through from Kolkatta. They are a rotten lot.
My Watch Shop Tells me it is not a watch Goo enough and rs. 800/- I paid is more. But the watch is good looking and can pass off for Luxury watch. Wonder why Air India (the Govt carrier also should do this, instead they can reward 1% of the customers with real Value Gifts to tempt them fly with them.
