I was travelling from Hyderabad to Bhopal on 4th May 2011 in Jet Konnect flight 9W2748. The flight was delayed by one hour, it was supposed to reach at 1:30 but reached at 2:30. When I reached Bhopal, my luggage was missing.

When I complained,they said that at Hyderabad, few of the bags were offloaded, but they did not even inform us prior to that. It is a huge irresponsibility on their part.

I was supposed to travel on the same day to Gwalior but I had no luggage and I have not received it till today and they are not responding properly.

I dont know what to do.

    My name is Shivani Desai. I’m a Citizen of India and a resident of Mumbai.

    I am a well travelled individual and for the past many years, have had high regards for service and comfort that I have received while travelling on Jet Airways. I’m a great fan of the food served and the warm smiles I have always received on your flights.

    I travelled from Mumbai to Vadodara on the 5:20am flight # 9W 2055 on 1st May, 2011 – Sunday via Jet Airways. My PNR was BPFZDM and my seat number on the flight was 32A and my Daughters was 32B.

    I am reporting the loss of my bag the description of which is herewith:

    1/ Color : Black
    2/ Brand : Skyline/Skybag
    3/ Id : Red colored ID on side handle from Emirates. Name of Saurabh Desai and Address
    4/ Other Id : Golden Ribbon tied to side handle
    5/ Weight : Was weighted at 24kgs at check-in

    Please note : I have reported loss of this bag on 1st May, 2011, BEFORE boarding the flight.

    Here is a list of everyone I have spoken to or dealt - with and about - the loss of this bag and the entire issue:

    Reshma Poojari checked me in, on this flight, without tagging my bag in my name. As I have been informed by Madan, Ojas and Chhaya, she conveniently FORGOT to add the bag to my name on the systems and hence, did not give me a luggage tag. I have reason to believe that this is a SERIOUS training issue and a faux pas situation for an airline staff!

    When I informed this to Madan Sethi BEFORE boarding, he convinced me that there are 90% chances that the bag would be on the same flight, in another passenger’s name. So he persuaded me to board the flight immediately to avoid any further delay on the flight or get off-loaded!! Since my daughter was having fever and my harrowed state of being, I chose to prioritize her well being and made the trip.

    At the Vadodara airport, I naturally couldn’t find the bag – as it was just not there! Ojas Date was very kind and helped me very patiently. He, Firoze and Rati are still the only ones who are listening to me and speaking with me.

    Now, I have made umpteen number of calls through the past two days, have suffered mental and physical trauma and have been forced to go “emergency” shopping in Baroda adding a ghastly Rs. 7000 worth of expenses to my budget. To this, the only responses I have received is that a “trace” has been opened and there have been “not found” responses from various stations. Today, I got to know from Firoze that the Baroda customer care, hadn't even opened a trace in my name!!!

    My question is – WHERE IS MY BAG??

    It has medication needed for my daughter; it has various commodities for my stay in Baroda for 10 days and I NEED MY BAG!

    In the past two days, I have only had empathy and patient responses from Ojas Date, Firoze, Rati and Chhaya. No one else seems to be picking phone calls. I have had my call disconnected – may be for various reasons – and am constantly being given customer service statements that are not convincing.

    Who is responsible for the loss of my bag? And when will I have a resolution to this?

    Please know I am in the service industry myself and know the norms of dealing with customers. I may be JUST ANOTHER customer to any of you. However, “I AM” your customer. I want to know the status of my bag and when and if I will receive it.

      I booked Ticket from Mumbai to Gorakhpur on dated 26/04/2011 PNR No JDACQU by jet Aiways.Travellig date was 27/04/2011 .Flight was from Mumbai to delhi.From delhi to gorakhpur.Flight was to reach at 12:30PM at dehi to get flight to grokhpur at time 1:30PM.But it was delayed and reach dehi at 1:10AM .Till getting out of filght .The grokhpur flight was left.So ,why they gave combine ticket.
      Problem was faced by my sister wath 1year infant She has to bear problem .So What was the use of Paying 11200 Rs to Jet airway including infant ticket 1600Rs.She lost her counselling in gorakhpur is reponsible .
      Now they give ticket from dehi to lucknow flight which is at 7:50 Pm .Reaching at 9 :00 PM in Night .Who will pay for the problem faced by her and losses occured due to negligence of jat airways .

      I want to take this problem further and want compenstion for the losses .

      Jet Airways — negligence of company

      hello sir, my name is Sana saif .i am very frequently fly by jet airways, today on 16/08/2011 i have a flight from Delhi to Bhopal in morning at 6:30 am and i reach there on 4:20 of that i have proof as i withdraw 5000 from the ATM which is situated in airport campus.on that receipt time is clearly mentioned.and my flight pnr.no.GOXVHD .please telly it.sir the ground staff of jet airways is so irresponsible that they do not care about the passengers. in morning at the time of check-in their computer hang its not the problem of customers.but they put full blame on all the passengers,those who were standing in Que.and they cancel some of the customers tickets and reissue some of them but, in that process no one not any staff bother to listen,when some passengers start shouting on their counter.then the staff listen. because of them i ave to delay my flight and i have to bear a loss of 50,000 as my appointment delayed.i request you to register my complaint against them and take strict disciplinary action as soon as possible.

      Am an citizen of India i was living at mumbai, on 30 june 2012 with jet konnect flight no 9w-2054 from jaipur to mumbai at 2050hours name shoeb habib seat no 28D but in that flight the a/c was not working and that flight was full with passengers like some just born babies, infants, childrens and many of the femails and also some senior citizens but the pilot knows that the a/c is not working he was not cared about the passengers and attempt to try to take-off the flight but after all the passengers complaints to the crew members of the same flight they are get back the flight to hanger and then call to the ground staff for help to check the a/c of the flight and then after 1 hour late the flight was take off from jaipur to mumbai after in flight many passengers asking for headache problems and i had also suffering from low blood pressure broblems becouse of hot in the flight but the behavior of cabin crew staffs was very rude using abusive language with all customer including me, and for this late arrival to mumbai for 1 hour late i got my very important meeting was cancelled and also some deal was also cancelled and now i am facing net lose is over more than 300000/ last time also i get this kind of harrashment from jet airways flight on 2 june 2012 i was comming from aurangabad to mumbai by jet konnect flight no 9w-2512 time of deaprture is 2035 name shoeb habib seat no 22f that flight was also late for more than 1 hour and i had complaint to ground staff of jet airways in mumbai.many customer are dissatisfied with your Employee Behavior and its a loss for ur company regarding 2 customer satisfaction, hope u will take action on this.and give me with good positive reply to your jet privilege guest

        I was told 19 hours before i was due to fly (I had already checked in online) that my flight was cancelled. I was told that I had to get on a flight that evening or i wasnt going to Thailand.

        When I tried to contact Jet Airways to complain there was no phone number. There was only the option to send a letter of complaint. Utterly unbelievable. What an arrogant company that changes its plans last minute and has no response to its customers. I am absolutely furious that my evening was ruined, i had to fly overnight and stay overnight in Bangkok whilst i had to wait for my connection.

        Terrible terrible company.

          Dear Ms.D'Mello,

          My bags were handed over to me by a porter at the Jet booking counter of the domestic terminal.
          I wanted to check my luggage om premises, but was told by the staff that I could take check and report my losses.

          I called the airlines as soon as I checked my luggage, and they gave me this mail id to which I could write and report my losses.

          My losses are more because of how my flights were scheduled by the airlines....surely you would understand that had this would not have happened if the luggage was in my custody.

          I will be writing in to the consumer forum as well to report Jet Airways and take this fwd legally.

          At Jet Airways, we do lay a lot of stress on the loading and unloading of guest baggage and all our staff on our network have been briefed about the importance of handling baggage with utmost care and caution.

          However, you will appreciate that any irregularity with regard to registered baggage has to be immediately brought to the attention of our staff on arrival at destination. After inspection of the same, our staff raises a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) and the case is investigated and thereafter settled in keeping with laid down procedures.           Dear Sir

          My name is Marietta Fernandes. I was a passenger on the Jet airways Milan -Delhi - Mumbai ( 9W- 0141 and 9W-302 ) sector on the 11th & 12th April.

          I was to be travelling on a jet lite flight that was cancelled and was informed that would be travelling on 9W-302. My baggage was left behing in Delhi during transit as there was only an hour for me to get from the international to the domestic terminal.

          Recd my baggage yesterday and on checking found that my luggage has been tampered with and I have stuff missing.

          I have missing 3 shirts - 2 of which are ladies in sz 42 ( black & blue ) and one mans shirt in size 41 (blue stripe). Also have lost chocolates and some food flavourings that had carried from Italy.

          Please revert on compensation that will be provided.

          Look to an early resolution.

            Respected Sir/Madam,
            Myself, [censored]al Jayantbharthi Gosai, of Vadodara – Gujarat, Passport No. J4576700 would like to inform that I had taken admission in LIC College o[censored].K. for which VISA was used to me last month.
            Accordingly, I departed from Vadodara on 3rd of April,2011 via your Jet airways Vadodara – London flight no. 9W 342 & 9W 118 at 6:45 am, I have paid Rs. 22,022/- as ticket fare . Unfortunately after landing at the London airport, I was refused entry by the Immigration Authority & not allowed to enter. A Refusal letter was handed over to me & I was told to return back via the flight number & timing cited in the Refusal letter mentioning that you will not be required to make any payments towards the return flight journey. And so I agreed to return back to Vadodara and took the Jet wairways London to Vadodara flight no.9W 0119 & 9W2055 dated 4th April,2011 at 9.30 am as per U.K. time.
            Now, once I reached Vadodara, at the airport your Jet airways people took away my Luggage and Passport and told that they would give afterwards. They asked to pay for Rs. 51000/- and only then they would hand over my Luggage and Passport. Now, may I please ask the reason for what I have to pay this amount of Rs. 51000/- when at the London airport I was told that I would not be required to pay any amount towards the return flight ? Why you people are harassing me like this I don’t understand. As per my Refusal letter, I need to go for “An Appeal” and I am in badly need of my passport & luggage due to which I am facing mental agony and if I don’t get these in time, I will suffer from financial loss as well, for which only you – Jet Airways will be liable & legally responsible.
            So, I humbly request you to hand over my passport & luggage to me as early as possible & oblige.
            I look forward to your kind co-operation & action in this matter, at the earliest possible.

              On 20 April 2011, while boarding Jet Airways flight number 9W77 from HongKong to New Delhi, we were served in flight veg dinner which consisted of the following:

              A portion Muttar Paneer ( was hard to swallow because it tasted sour)
              A small portion of rice (hard and under cooked)
              One bhatura wrapped in foil ( cold and stretched like rubber)
              A bowl of raita ( was tasting sour too)
              A small bowl of salad ( consisting of God knows what herbs)
              No drinking water was given with the dinner.
              No welcome drink was given.

              Also the drinks were offered AFTER the meals.
              There was no provision for tea or coffee, despite of several request to the cabin crew.

              It was a surprise for us because we have taken Jet Airways flight number 9W78 from New Delhi to HongKong on 14 April 2011, wherein the service and dinner was found satisfactory.

              We are lodging this complaint because this type of service is giving a bad name to the country too.

                I have booked three tickets on Mumbai -chennai sector on 8th Jan 2009 for the travel date of 14th May 2009. THe e ticket numbers were[protected],[protected] and[protected]. The tickets were purchased by paying through credit card. All the three tickets were cancelled on 7th May 2009. Inspite of several calls to customer care, the refund amount has not been credited to my credit card account.
                i ve booked 4 confirmed tickets from guwahati to delhi through a travel agency named "
                dipankar tours & travels care gulap ch saikia, lachit nagar, t n gogoi path, dibrugarh moran"
                . now as i m staying at dibrugarh city, i found to travel from dibrugarh to delhi will be
                much convenient for us . but on requesting to cancel the air tickets, they are not responding well and telling me that more cancellation fee than rs 750 .00 ( as they said at the time of booking ) would be deducted from our single fare due to nil basic fare of the tickets .

                  I had to receive an envelope containing some very important documents from Indore which were urgently required.
                  I am very sorry to say that the airlines did not meet the expectations of prompt and expeditious delivery although the date and the details of the flight through which it was supposed to be sent are clearly mentioned on the airway bill that is enclosed herewith as an attachment.

                  The consignment was supposed to be sent to Raipur (C.G.) through Indore-Raipur flight on 15.4.2011 but not sent.And I am again sorry to say that for this inefficient service I had to pay Rs.1197/-.A courier would done it in a far more efficient manner and that too in less than half of the price.Disgusting!!! isn't it?

                  i am rambha venkateswara rao, my pravileage no, 9w[protected], i travelled from toronto to brussells and chennai, flight no 9w225, it landed chennai at 23;30, yesterday, night, i am travelling with my baby of five months, she has a pram(baby trolley)from brussels to chennai we travelled with the pram on the flight, when we got done in chennai the flight attendent didt not give me the pram in hand, she said it will be kept in the lagguage and we can collect it from the laggage belt, and we collected, after the jet lag we opened the lagguade we noticed that one wheel of the pram was missing,
                  the pram lagguage no is 9w666739, the pram is the designer made pram made exclusively for my baby with out the wheel i am facing high difficulty and five months baby is uncomfortable, pls consider this an emergency of your jet privilivegd member.i have spoken to reshma of jet airways who has advice me to write to you.i am enclosing the details of the jounery passenger and the pram picture.

                    My friend flew Jet Airways from SriLanka to New Delhi route on 26March,2011. When they landed at New Delhi Airport they try to find out the luggage but not able to find after that 1hour they launch one complaint at the Loss Baggage counter of Jet Airways they people says we will find out then call you on mentioned numbers as per given by you. Almost week are gone but i have not received any call from Jet Airways office regarding Baggage. If i try to connect with Jet Airways peoples for finding my friends luggage they are saying we will call you back in 10-15min but nobody call me back. In the Luggage so many important things like documents, clothes ,Jewellery etc. It was an utterly poor & pathetic service from the customer service where I followed up with them each and every day.

                    I travelled by 9W812 from Bangalore to Delhi on 23rd Oct 2011 . When I picked up my baggage from the conveyor, I found that the back of the baggage was going in . It was supposed to have a hard back . I then went to your customer services counter and met a very rude person by name Rohan . He did not bother to even check what the problem was and simply said " Ther is no problem with your strolley . You can still move your handle up and down . These things are normal, the loaders will throw the baggage into the aircraft and to the vehicle . So it may have these damages . We can't do anything about this " I asked him to come out and have a look, which he reluctantly did and after that also maintained the same story . I asked for his name and was about to leave when I saw another person Vishal who was polite and said the same thing that Rohan said . However he did offer me a feedback form to write my complaint . I then filled teh form and gave it to Rohan to put it in the box, he just kept it on the table . I told him to put it in the box which was below the counter . He got very irritated with that . He did put it under the table, not sure it went into the box . I then talked to your contact center and a person by name James told me to write to these email ids . I went home and took the pictures of teh strolley after removing my clothes . Attached is a picture of my baggage and the copy of the letter I wrote .

                    Please ensure that it is repaired / replaced . Also please do not have such rude people at the counters . He did behave equally bad with another passenger who had reported a lost baggage

                      I, my wife and four relatives (total 6) had to travel to Gorakhpur from New Delhi on 15.03.2011 by 9W2647O 15MAR T DELGOP HK[protected] /E to attend a funeral of my father-in-law but at the time of boarding your representative announced to all the passengers that, the flight to Gorakhpur has been cancelled due to poor visibility. Though our fellow passengers confirmed from their relatives and drivers who had come to receive them at Gorakhpur airport about the weather and they informed the clear sunny day.

                      Honestly speaking, Jet Airways has unfairly left us in a very bad situation and that too at that time when it is beyond my capacity to make any other arrangement for this untimed cancellation.

                      Your representative Mr. Nadeem asked, who opt to Lucknow may go out and meet Ms. Daliya for making adjustments in Lucknow flight and we came out but none of your staff took interest for our requests for accommodating us in Lucknow flight of 18.35 and suggested to get my money back by cancelling the six tickets costing INR 34992 @ Rs.5832/-and I did the same at 15.56.23 time. But after my cancellation bye-the-way I saw Mr. Nadeem at gate 2 stall C and complained that no one has accommodated us in the evening flight of Lucknow. He surprisingly said you have done hurry the other passengers are being accommodated in flight 9W 2639 18.35 with a complementary lunch and commitment to drop up to Gorakhpur by road. We were taken aback to listen this and requested for our accommodation in the same but he refused and suggested to purchase new tickets for flight 9W 2639. Ultimately, we purchased six new tickets with same PNR for INR 42792/- @ 7132/-.

                      My complaint is that why your staff misguided us at all stages and we were forced to purchase six new tickets under harassment? Who will pay the difference of INR 7800 @ 1300 and psychosomatic harassment from 12:00 to 8 pm. We have been deceived by you and your staff with bad and irresponsible behavior. My excess unfair fare should be returned along with apology that this should not be repeated with other passengers in future.

                        I had booked my travel from Delhi to Bangalore on 21st Feb 2011. I got a call from Jet lite late night on 20th Feb 2011 stating the the flight is canceleed due to operational reasons and i asked for refund of my money.

                        I have written 5 to 6 reminder mails to Jet lite till date and called up many times of customer service for my refund of Rs 4972 and evertime they tell that the refund is pending with their bank and the concerned department will get back soon. but it is more then a month now and i have not got any call or refund of my money.

                        At this point of time i am feel extremely bad and being cheated by Jet airways. Never expected such a big organizantion to cheat with customers.

                        I request for justice . Please help me.

                          I have travelled from Delhi to Katmandu on 13/03/2011. On reciveing Katmandu realied that my check in baggage had not arrived. I made a formal complaint and was handed over a Property Irregularity Report with no File Refrence No. I followed up for 2 day with Jet Katmandu Office but they had no clue of my Baggage. I returned to Delhi on 15th and tried to track through the baggage counter waited for 1 hour with no repreentative at the desk. I left Airport and Called Call Centre wa told that the complaint i being forwarded and someone will get in touch with me. I have been repeatedly calling the Call centre with no Update. They gave me few nos which are again not answered. It 5 day and i have no track of where my baggage is.

                          I flew from canada last night to Delhi and figured out that my baggage was lost. First problem is I am just left with a pair of clothes and top of this, no one picks phone or gives status on tracking. Airport representative forgot to give file number so I can't track anything from web as well.

                          Call Centre menu options are reserved for business making only. No option to atleast ask alternate numbers or contacts.
                          I Dr Manoj Indurkar went to Hongcong through Jet airways on 18th november 2010, My Bag was checked in at delhi Airport & it was not received back at Hongcong Airport.the complaint was also logged at Hongcong Airport but actions were taken from Jet airways.
                          very pathetic .It is polluting the image of zero error industry by making such blunders.
                          We were on Delhi (INDIA) London LHR Jet Airways flight 9W 0122 of 18 DEC 2010.
                          The flighted was landed in Brussels due to closure of LHR Airport.On 19th Dec the
                          complete luuggege was off loaded at BRSSELS as some of the passengers were
                          arranged to travel by EURO STAR .The flight took off on 20 Dec on rescheduled flight 9W122D after clubbing passengers of Mumbai - LHR flight 9W118.On landing at LHR airport we found that our complete luggage bearing Tag Nos 0589 9W872755 to 57( 2 SUITCASES 24 inches Samsonite & One SUITCASE 20 inch American Tourister ) was not there. We lodged our complaint vide Ref No LHR 9W15820.Tel No at LHR [protected] &[protected] are not attending the complaints.The contents of our luggage are very important e.g Medicines,clothes etc.May we request for immediate location and priority delivery by the concerned Jet Airways authorities.

                          Baggage lost while flying with Jet Airways between Milan and Delhi. There has been no action and communication, nor has any compensation been given despite escalating the case to the highest level in baggage section of the company hierarchy.

                          Despite calling and chasing at the highest level in Lost Baggage section of Jet Airways, there has been no response from the company. It has been more than 18 days and Airlines have been very irresponsible in taking action or even communicating the same to the passenger.                           My mother has travelled on 22 Feb from Bangalore to Ranchi via Delhi. She has lost her one bag and complained about the same at Ranchi airport.                           I was travelling from Amsterdam to Bhubaneswar on 29th May 2015 through Etihad, Jet airways (Partnered with Etihad) and indigo airlines and lost my baggage at Abu Dhadi by airport luggage transfer.

                            , I would like to inform you that we had a Flight from New Delhi Via Kolkata to Jorhat on 25/02/2011, Flight. No.9W - 922, Time: 9.30 AM(IST). But due to some reason not known to us, the flight was cancelled at 11.30 AM. After the long day harassment at the Delhi Airport ( Terminal 3) we were given a flight to Guwahati at 4.00 PM & we were said that the total ticket fare from Kolkata to Jorhat will be refunded to us without deducting any taxes, Surcharge & Fees etc , which is clearly mentioned in the copy of the ticket signed by the Duty Manager . But on 09/03/2011 I got a Cheque of Rs 904.00 from our travel agent ARANYA TRAVELS, Jorhat which is much lesser than the original ticket amount.

                            I just want to request you to kindly intervene and send me the details on what ground Rs.904.00 has been calculated for 3 tickets( me , my wife and my 1.5 yrs son)

                              I have cancelled tickets for Travel by Jet airways from Trivendrum to Mumbai. I personally went to Jet Airways office on Andheri Kurla Road (Lottolier Floor, B wing, Andheri Kurla Road, marol Nak, Opp SM Centre, Andheri 400059 - Tel 3989333) on[protected]. I was given given Refund reciept no.[protected] and 6 dated[protected]. Nothing happened for 3 weeks and once again I visited their Office and was informed that within 8-10 dyas the refunf amount wil be credited to Bank Account. Regret to inform you that even after 6 weeks I have not received the refund.

                              In response to my querries, Jet airways continue to give contradictory responses as re-produced below.

                                This is very serious complain about the Jet Airways, we had booked 4 tickets from Amritsar to Delhi, on Jet Airways, for the 1st Jan. 2011 departure, the flight was cancelled due to bad weather, at the airport we were given option of either change the date of journey, or go by road, in bus arranged by them, and still entitiled for full refund, we had opted for second option, as we had onward journey too, (though we had to cancel the onward flights but we did not claim for the loss as it is already mentioned that they are no responsible) bu they had given us in writing at the airport about the full refund, without deduction, on coming back to our hometown, we applied for refund through Ezeego1.com as we had booked the tickets through them, but till today we have not got the refund, infact jet people have replied that we shall not get refund coz we used road transport, which is unethical and purely cheating on part of jetairways, we have in writing from them, we had also sent them scan copy of tickets, on which they have clearly given us in writing about the refund,
                                i have also sent them mail asking refund, but till today we have not recd. any positive reply from them,

                                  I had a Jet Airways booking from Mumbai to San Francisco via Hong Kong on 6th March 2011. The departure time for Mumbai - Hong Kong flight was 1.50 am and as per instructions I reached airport at around 11.30 pm on 5th March 2011. I entered airport and told Jet customer representative about my flight details and he asked me to stand in a line. I diligently obeyed him and stood in line and finally at 1.00 am I reached counter, they said counter for Hong Kong flight closed and they paged everyone about Hong Kong flight. No paged came to me or shouted anywhere close to where I was standing otherwise I would have heard it. Now Jet is claiming its my fault and did not reschedule flight nor are giving any refunds. And in this situations the representatives were very rude and were using foul languages.

                                    I had a ticket on the Kolkata-Bangalore flight 9W 515 on January 3, 2011 Ticket #[protected]. The mismanagement of crowd at the airport terminal entry ensured perennial bottlenecks and that caused me to report to your check-in counter at 5:35am. To my utter shock, they denied me boarding citing the "strict regulation" about reporting 45 minutes prior. I requested them to kindly let me in as a schoolboy would request the teacher to be let into the class following a five-minute delay. The staffer at the counter went on to scrawl on my ticket in red: "Reported Late" and directed me to the ticketing counter. He went on to explain how on days with "heavy passenger load", a delay of few minutes was unpardonable.

                                    The mechanically unhelpful staff there advised me to wait for the same flight tomorrow (January 4) and pay up Rs. 9000 extra. Further requests from me and they redirected me to the duty-manager at the check-in counter. The person at the "Wait-Listed" counter parroted the same "strict rules" and any reasoning apparently made no sense to them. I wondered, are they instructed to use ear plugs while on duty?

                                    When I tried to explain the urgency of my schedule and the need to be in Bangalore, the staffer calmly instructed me to cancel the ticket and book one with a competing airline. I had last flown 9W 515 about two years ago, though I am a very frequent flier on this route. Your own staff member's idea seemed to echo my beliefs about avoiding Jet Airways.

                                    With time being of essence, and Jet not being able to offer me a worthwhile alternative, I was constrained to cancel my ticket and book a ticket on the next available flight with Indigo. It indeed cost me a significant premium over the booking price of my original ticket, besides the cancellation loss on my original ticket.

                                      This to put forth a problem I encountered with Jet Airways at Delhi/ Kolkata.

                                      I was flying from Delhi to Kolkata on the 13th of February, 2011. When I arrived at the Kolkata airport, my baggage could not be located. Eventually, another unclaimed baggage was found which had my my name tagged on it.

                                      The airline first tried to persist that the baggage did belong to me. When I sternly informed that it indeed is not mine, they started the process for tracing my baggage. While this incident took place at around 11.30 am in the morning, I was left with a receipt of the complaint and a number to get in touch with, if required.

                                      After waiting for four hours, I eventually called the airline to assess if my luggage has been traced, I was curtly replied that the status is still unclear and they shall intimate me once they have some information and that I need not keep calling.

                                      As I had practically no clothes to wear, and with no response coming from Jet, I decided to make some purchases at around 7 pm. Again I made an attempt to contact the jet team and they still had no clue on the progress. At this point, I had already made my purchases and requested them to bear the damages. Only after pestering them did they agree for a measly amount of INR 2000, while I had already made purchases for around INR 3500, as I needed to equip myself for atleast three days, as no clarity was coming forth from the Jet team.

                                      My baggage has finally been traced and it shall reach me today evening, but I believe I must be compensated for atleast the amount I have spent on making the purchases.

                                      Also, the treatment meted out to me at Jet Airways Kolkata was shoddy to say the least. The airline staff went as far as to insinuate that it is my responsibility to ensure that the baggage has been tagged correctly. Also, there was no communication whatsoever from the Jet team and I was left stranded for the entire day with no information whatsoever. The subject of damages was also handled only once I raised the issue while we expect a 'premier' airline like Jet to initiate the process.

                                      Please advice on these issues and let me know if I there's a forum to raise my grievances.

                                        My wife with 3 month old little baby was travelling from Mumbai to London Heathrow on 18th Dec. Due to chaotic waether flight has to land at Brussels airport. After 2 days and 2 night of waiting period in the airport (no hotel room was provided) I changed her flight from Brussels to Jersey( as Jersey was her final destination) but Jet Airways officials refused to provide her lugagge at Brussles stating that they are busy and they'll arrange to send the luaaggage at my place. Even though luggage was provided to all the other european travellers who left the filght at Brussels and travelled by rail or road. So she has to travel without her luggage as she cant stay there any more with her little baby at the airport.

                                        After 15 days of struggling period(after too many phone calls and mails) the luggage was finally arrived but the bags were severly damaged and whole items were missing. Bags were cut by knife to open (since lock was unbreakable) all the items was stolen which includes branded and expensive items which includes gold jewellry (1 chain and bracelets), watch (Casio £150) 12 pair branded clothes, all the items related to baby, many important documents and many more. Moreover to fill the bags they absolutely rubbish item to stuff which inlcudes other passanger items, dirty and torn clothes etc. I must say no one in world would like to see their their luggage in such a bad condition. After complaining to JetAirways authority about the theft their response was too lazy. After 20 days of pleading they are finally offering me $460 which is unaccepatable for me. This doesn't cover even a fraction of my losses. First baggage delay then theft. After all this unfortnate event they are least bothered about my loss. They are not even bothered that who has stolen the luggage. Now they are not even respoding to my mails.

                                        I request you to please assist me that how i can get full compensation of my lost baggage. How can i act against JetAirways to get the justice. I've all the emails excahnge with JetAirways. Any help would be much appreciated.
