On flying from Kochi to Delhi, my group was abused and harassed by jet airways ground staff. The duty manager of jet at kochi, shiju menon cancelled the boarding pass of my colleague over mobile phone! He cited plane take off time but when rest o[censored]s reached to board there was a long queue. The plane also waited for vips to baord the plane and waited for 15 minutes for them. Ample time for my him to board the plane. On complaining the same, supervisor d ganesh abused the group including the female reporters from times of india and zee news. There is no redressal to our complaint till now. We flew from s2 0256 jet lite flight from kochi to delhi.

    Dear Sir,

    This is with regards to my travel with jet airways from Mumbai to Doha on 7th Nov 2009 with my
    12 month old infant.

    As your are aware every infant travelling is entitled for a bassinet if the same is available on the
    air craft by which he is traveling. As i was traveling with an infant i requested the airlines to book me a bassinet seat. Iwas told that the same cannot be booked in advance and can only be booked
    at the time i check-in..

    As per the advice when i checked in i requested for a bassinet and was said the particular flight
    did not have a bassinet facility.But to my surprise when i entered the flight i saw the provision for the
    bassinet available and hence enquired with the flight staff whether the same was there to which they replied yes. Than i request them to give me the seat with the bassinet to which they asked me to go and speak to the ground staff. WHAT A THING TO SAY? They wanted me to get off the flight with my 12 months old to speak to the ground staff for no mistake of mine.After me making noise on the flight the
    ground staff came on the flight and gave me the bassinet seat which was done with a very rude behavior.

    As you are aware the bassinet is attached in front of the window seat and the seat is booked for the person who is accompanying the infant. But they put the bassinet on the window seat and gave me the
    side seat, they gave me a rude answer when i requested for a seat close to the bassinet and said u access your baby from the seat we have allotted you. Than the person sitting on the window seat fell pity
    on me and offered me his seat.By the mean time my baby had started crying profusely due to hunger which made no difference to the staff and they continued with their rude behavior.My baby was so tired crying that he slept without any food that night on the flight.
    It was a horrible experience and wish no mother has to go through the same.

    This is the second time i have faced the bassinet problem with Jet Airway. The 1st time i did not log a complaint as i thought it was the 1st time and may be by mistake. But the episode was repeated and
    during my next trip.

    Hence request your to please take appropriate action against the stuff on duty and request for compensation from the Airline due to the mental stress me and my baby had to undergo due to their
    inefficiency.

    Appreciate your immediate action.

    JETAIRWAYS — seat bookings

    My flight booking was done in November 2009 for flight from kuala lumpur to Chennai 13 February 2010 on flight 9W0031S. I made seat reservations for me and the family - seata 23 A, B, C, D & F. This is noted in the e-ticket. However, on check-in we were assigned 12 A, B, C, D & E ,
    Please ensure the same does not recur on my return flight for which I have reservations for the same seats, i.e. 23 A, B, C, D,& F.

    Seats in row 12 can not be reclined due to the location of the exit door. This is particularly hard on the older members of the family. Thank you.

    aIRLINE — Broken Seat and Unpleasant Service

    I was travelling from BLR to MUM on 6/12/2010 in IT 102 in seat No 15 C. PNR NO : JIZQEL
    The Headrest of the seat was broken and was falling down. I had to hold it all along the Journey for which I suffered muscle pull in the Nect and My neck got Hurt. In spite of my request the Stewards are not willing to relocate my seat, as they said it was full, which I believe it was not. As an Alternate One of the Steward provided me a Pillow which added more pain than Comfort, Giving me a Unpleasant Flying Experience.
    Enclosed are the Snaps taken on my Mobile. However, I sincerely Doubt the maintenance Practice of your Aircraft and puts me to a question on the safety aspect of the passengers.
    Having said this, I would request a full refund of my Ticket.

    We acknowledge your disappointment with the condition of your seat on your flight IT102 of 6 December, and appreciate that this may have detracted somewhat from your enjoyment of your in-flight experience. At Kingfisher Airlines, we endeavor to ensure that our guests enjoy a relaxed and comfortable journey when they travel with us, and we regret that your experience on this occasion was to the contrary.

    We would like to share with you that periodic maintenance checks are carried out to ensure that the cabin is in top shape and all in-flight equipment performs at the optimum level; this is further supplemented with a reporting system whereby the crew records any unexpected anomalies in the functioning of the equipment which may arise during the course of the flight. This information is shared with the Engineering team on arrival, and the same is attended to.     Jet Airways — bad behaviour and services

    i'm submitting this complaint with extreme shock and frustration i gained today by watching how much bad service one airline can provide on whom i trusted 13 years...my luggage weight was 40 killos and i paid 6,400 rs to them as fine.i don't know whether they cost me the genuine price or not.but at the entire1 and half hour they didn't provide me person who can help me to check in my luggage as i requested them several times...i was carrying 3 hand baggages and my wife was carrying 2.the lady stuff of jet airways just shouted on her like she's our boss.it's a hell thing.i replied her to lower her voice.every one at that moment working on that boxes didn't clear how much we can carry on cabin and how much we can give for luggage.every one said different word. illiterate behaviour,poor service in cabin just erased my past fabulous moments in jet airways.it's happened in kolkata airport today .kolkata to agartala flight 9w 7107.i'm working proffesional and i'm saying today that i was really insulted by them.it was a worst experience for me.i never expected this.

      Hi,

      I traveled in Jet Airways from Kolkata to Delhi in the last week of September 2009. The flight booked was via Patna which required a change of aircraft. It was a very UNPLEASANT flight. I boarded the flight from Kolkata and was carrying a brand new suitcase as a gift for my wife.While boarding at Kolkata I was told that I do not need to worry about my baggage as the same would be managed by Jet Airways.However when I was standing at the luggage conveyor belt to my UTTER SURPRISE I found my baggage (picture attached) totally damaged (exterior) on the trolley.It was a brand new suitcase and also a gift for my wife. I spoke with the airport staff of Jet Airways at the airport – however they did not seem to be interested to resolve the issue.I expected a replacement of the same – I showed them the relevant bills and also date of purchase as a proof. There was no respite.I felt let down by your esteemed carrier. Hence threw away by privilege card (BLUE) as time and again I have been made to feel by Jet Airways (Call Centre) that the card has NO MEANING.

      FYI – I have given a written complaint at the Patna Jet Airways office along with my Card – which I think has been gracefully taken back by Jet Airways.

      However till date NO REVERT has been received till date on the status of the complaint.

      It only reaffirms my belief that a customer is ONLY a COMMODITY for JET AIRWAYS and NOTHING MORE THAN THAT.

      Happy flying and take Good Luck. Damage some more baggage’s – keep the Jet Flag high.

      Pardon me for marking the mail to a lot of you as I just wanted all to feel the pleasant experience I had flying Jet Airways.

      However I find an email requesting me to provide my date of travel.

      I clearly remember to have provided my PC Card number during my booking / check in.

      Further I do not recollect the exact date of Travel – however your PATNA airport ground staff has a hard copy written complaint I had handed over to them.

      The PATNA JET AIRWAYS airport ground staff as per my understanding should have –

      01. Forwarded my complaint given in hard copy to the complaint cell for follow up.
      02. The Privilege card which I returned at the airport should have been sent to the concerned department
      03. If the above TWO were done you would not have been running in circles to resolve this issue.

        I was to travel to Nagpur on the 6th of Jan 2009 by the Jetlite flight No. S211 at 7:05am I checked in at 6:35am with my boarding pass and was waiting in the post security check lounge since I did not wear a watch I didn’t realised the time but during my entire 25 minutes of wait at the lounge there was not a single announcement for the departure or boarding of flight S211 to Nagpur nor was my name called out at any point as I could hear various names called out by all the Airlines and the best part I was seated on the first row but unfortunately you cannot see the counter number 11 from this location from which this flight passengers were boarded after quite a while I got suspicious hence I changed my location and seen gate 11 was displaying flight S211 to Nagpur Boarding so I proceeded towards it just to be hushed away by a Jet Airways ground hostess stating sorry sir you are late when I asked her that there was no announcement for this flight nor was my name called out she rudely answered then how come 144 passengers have boarded the aircraft and told me please leave the counter and get your ticket cancelled bluntly writing on my boarding pass no show and the time 7:11am I had no but to do what was told I was escorted out and told to go to counter 42 where a gentleman told me there is nothing that he could do please go and cancel you ticket and lookout for another airline option that’s when I realised that there were 2 more passengers who went through the same negligence they called their supervisor Ancilla and when the other passenger tole her we want to talk to your seniors to register a complain she bluntly said the seniors are not available and told them to write down their complain on a form as though she least bothered what action is going to be taken, looking at this carefree attitude I did not feel it right to waste my time writing down my complain and proceeded to the Airline counter who cancelled my ticket and deducted Rs. 1000/- for no fault of mine infact this whole episode was a harassment to me waking up early at 4:00am to make it in time to the airport and going through this ordeal. Sometime I really feel we are treated like dogs the law is only for the rich and famous in this county there is nothing called humanity left when they say we are at your service its their monthly pay that forces them to say those words with an artificial smile even if I fight for it its useless cause after months and years of running about what I will be compensated with Rs. 1000/- and little more to show there is justice done why is there no law where if a company fails to render service and support the GM or board of directors should attend the case why are they represented by the legal department. How can they leave me there with a boarding pass without boarding the airplane don’t you think the wrong people can take advantage of this who is responsible then. I could have stayed there the entire day with that boarding pass who would have questioned me, its the system in our country that is at fault and can take the risk and leave a checked in passenger in a sensitive location and they were not even bothered about me if I was wrong why did the Airline not bother to know why I didn’t board the airline how can they leave me there and we boast of security arrangement tightened in this country if this goes to the press the CISF or DGCA will hush it off stating that they have set up a enquiry and maybe a few staff will be suspended that’s it and the chapter is closed.

          I took Jet Airways for a 7 day vacation in Canada. I was delayed in Brussels for one day because the connector flight was almost 3 hours late. On the return, I was 4 hours late so missed my connector flight. I went to the Jet Airlines desk and was booked on a train to my destination. When I asked about my baggage, I was told it would be automatically delivered to me in La Rochelle. They refused to do a lost baggage claim. When I asked about waiting for my bag - I was told the next train to Paris would get me there without sufficient time to make the connector to La Rochelle. So I would have to spend the night in the airport. I chose to take the train and have my baggage delivered. I asked where I would give the delivery information I was told to do that at the train station with Air France where I would get the ticket. That was a flat out lie. Now, I cannot ensure my bag is delivered until Jet Airways complies and authorizes this - and I cannot contact Jet Airways because they have no contact information for Europe except England.
          This has cost me all my xmas presents and clothes. It is January 1 when I cannot buy toothpaste or anything else. I have spent four hours on the phone trying to sort this because Jet Airways gives people false information, cannot figure out how to deal with computers, cannot fly on time, is unable to respect human rights, and apparently does not care.
          Never fly Jet Airways or any other airline that contracts with Jet Airways.

          I would like to recount the experience I had flying with Jet Airways on a holiday with my family. We were flying (three passengers) Mumbai-Delhi (9W331 on 22nd May PNR FQBNUV) then Delhi-Amritsar (9W 2633 on 22nd May PNR JPIZIF) and returning back Amritsar-Delhi (9W 2634 on 28th May PNR JPIZIF).
          Well the Mumbai –Delhi sector was fine, just a bit of a delay.
          In Amritsar we had planned to visit the Wagha border and needed to be there by 4.30 pm and later on visit the Golden temple stay the night and then travel to Himachal. Well after landing in Delhi I received a sms that the flight will leave at 14.10 and land at Amritsar at 15.35. We kept on waiting however there was no call for boarding. Whenever we asked at the Jet counter we were informed that we would take off shortly. At around 15.00 when I realised that the Wagha border trip is out (I had gone out of my way to see that we were allotted VIP seats) I lost my cool and asked for the true picture from the person at the gate. He took me on the side and told me that in all probability the flight is cancelled. We charged to the Kingfisher counter and were getting seats but as the flight was to take off shortly they could not wait for our luggage to arrive. Finally all the luggage arrived and after all the passengers made a hue and cry Jet conveniently cancelled their Jaipur flight (as there were only 6 passengers) and transferred the aircraft for our sector. Yes we finally did reach Amritsar at around 19.00 instead of 14.50.
          I would like to appreciate the staff who offered me a taxi from Delhi to Amritsar or a hotel in Delhi. However I would have appreciated it if we could have been informed about the actual position much earlier so that we could have flown by an alternate airlines. Also till 16.00 the airlines schedule shown on the monitor was 14.10. Well the holiday did not start as expected but then all factors as a sleepy airline staff cannot be accounted for. I was not aware that the worst was yet to come.
          Well we left Himachal around 8.00 so that we could make the flight at 15.20. We received an sms that the flight is on schedule and in fact would reach Delhi 20 minutes earlier. Till 12.30 the flight timings had not changed. At 13.51 we received a message that the flight was rescheduled to leave at 16.00 and would reach Delhi at 17.11. Yet enough time to take our flight back to Mumbai. On reaching Amritsar airport at 15.00 we were informed that the flight was cancelled more than an hour back. I have never experienced counter staff who are so unfriendly, uncooperative and cold in my life. Here the service they are offering has been cancelled, the least they could have been was apologetic and offer their concerns for the passengers. There were four staff in the room, out of which only one was attending to all the stranded passengers. I requested one lady Ms Shelly who took my ticket and then started working on the computer. After about 15 minutes when I did not receive any response from her I questioned her and she said that Mr. Vikas would attend and continued back with her work. When Mr. Vikas took over he just signed on the ticket that cancelled and full refund etc and put the stamp and all was over. I asked him what alternative arrangements can be done but his answer was β€œthe flight has been cancelled” and then one of his sneery smiles. I was in a mood of creating a scene but then I realised that it would not at all effect these inhuman Jet staff. I then called my taxi again and charged to the station to catch a train but to no avail. Then with no other options I took a taxi from Amritsar to Delhi and reached Delhi at 2 am. Had to settle into a hotel for the night as we had already missed our flight and then next day take another flight (not Jet thank God) for Mumbai.
          Here i would like to voice my sheer dissatisfaction for Mr. Vikas and Ms Shelly who need to be taught some manners as to how to talk to customers. Their behaviour was a typical Govt. Officer type approach. Also if the flight was cancelled at 14.00 we should have been informed at that time so that we could put the alternate plan into effect much earlier.
          Well unexpectedly Jet screwed up my holiday as I had to again travel 10 hours by road from Amritsar to Delhi after travelling for 6 hours in the morning from Himachal to Amritsar. I had to pay 3,000 extra for the taxi after deducting the airfare, 12,500 for the hotel and 9,900 extra for rescheduling the tickets for Mumbai.
          Apart from the financial part I am really disappointed by the approach of your company and staff towards their passengers. Taking everything for granted and having no respect for the travellers is not acceptable. I have just used Jet for Bangkok in April but from now I am sorry I will never step on a Jet flight again and will also let others know of my experience so that they are also not put through the same ordeal.

          I can only agree with the poor service delivered by the Jet airways people based in the Brussels Airport.
          Only one person (named Lucia) is really trying hard to help but unfortunately both her colleagues & bosses couldn't care less.
          I wonder why they are called customer service !?
          When I asked to talk to a manager, they told me no one was available at the airport. The only thing i could get is an email address & a name. So I emailed the guy a couple of time to make my complain official but guess what... he didn't even bother to reply.
          And just for the record... so far, this year only, I flew 8 times to the US & Canada with them. So one could expect a little bit of respect.

          Jet Airways — regarding false information about ticket

          i had booked a ticket of jet airways from mumbai to birmingham.they dont solve problems of ticket when booked through travel agents and are very rude in behaviour.on phone they something else and in office something else.please see this matter as soon as possible
          WORST SERVICE, REQUEST WINDOW SEAT BUT THEY GIVEN BROKEN SEAT..ONE OF WORST FLIGHT 9W 544 MUBAI TO DUBAI ...

            Hi,

            My name is Apoorv Agrawal and my passport no. is F0831230. I came to India ( mumbai airport) from Dubal via Jet Airways (Flight 9W541) on 22nd Dec 2009 and found out that my luggage had not arrived on the plane. I spoke to Navroj (Customer Care representative) at the ariport and then filed the missing luggage report (25869, Agrawal Apoorv) there and was promised that the luggage would be tracked and delivered soon. I was given the following nos and names to contact :

            I got a call from someone from jet on 24th Dec 2009 Morning saying that my baggages have arrived and he is coming to deliver. Once the baggages came to my place, I opened them up for a check and found that many items have been stolen from the baggage. The lock was opened up and the electronic items were removed from their cases and the empty boxes (They were too professional in this atleast !!) were still there in the bag. Following is the list of items missing from the baggage :

            Nikon L100 Digital Camera
            Rechargeable batteries and micro SD card for 2 GB (They were inside the camera)
            Digital Photo Frame ( 7" - PanDigital)
            Remote controlled toy

            All these items were in the same bag and it seems that they got hold of this only and removed stuff whatever he found o[censored]se.

            Once I found the theft, I tried reaching all those people at the numbers given to me in front of the delivery person only and I am really sad to mention that someone on those numbers kept on either disconnecting calls or just ignoring till 6 PM that evening. I tried atleast 100 times and even sent SMS also on the mobile number mentioned, but no replies came. Finally at around 6 PM on 24th Dec Umesh picked up my call and once I told him the theft he asked me to mail the details.

            Its been 4 days since I submitted the details to Jet and there is been no replies whatsoever from their side (I was promised by Umesh that will get a reply within 24 hours) and as usual, nobody picks up the calls if you want to follow up on the matter. Its so sad that such so called reputed airlines do behave in this manner !!

            I tried searching for someone responsible on their site but to of no use as they do not have a formal complaint registration mechanism in place and there is no way that a consumer can lodge a complaint with them before actually trying something like getting in touch with consumer court, the way I am doing.

            I think these guys are so confident that nobody would dare question them for whatever they do as there is no such visible system in place by which a consumer can force them to act fast on the complaints.

            I learnt it hard way as people always used to tell me not to keep anything valuable in the baggage !! To be frank I never imagined that this could happen. I trusted the airline and the staff too much !! I really am very sad at this. I had got all that stuff from US for my family and was so eager to share those things with them. This incident has actually spoiled the entire mood in the family and I think jet Airways need to take responsibility or atleast act on the complaint tyo ensure that this is not repeated for future.

            I need to now know how can I get my stuff back and I hope that I will get some suggestions to pursue my case with Jet Airways.

            lodge a complaint with the police. but they might ask you for bribe :-D you can haggle on the bribe amount though. trust me the police would know where to find your stolen stuff !! :-D

              I traveled from Jet lite on 3rd December from Bangalore to Delhi. My flight number was 9W 7074 and PNR number is JDKBNH. I check in one Grey colour handshell bag. When I received that bag it was broken. I raised a complaint at airport only to Jet Airways staff. I filled one form with my home address and submitted to staff. I also gave the broken bag to staff at the airport. I was given phone number and was told that Jet Airways people will contact me and will give me replaced/repaired bag to my house. But till now no one has contacted me from Jet Airways. Whenever I call them that number is not reachable. Now it is 21 days but still no response. Please help me.

                I had booked a flight from pune to mangalore via Mumbai with Jet Airways.

                The Pune to Mumbai flight was delayed which in turn resulted in missing the Mumbai to Mangalore flight, In Mumbai the ground staff named Ashish Chayya was incapable and behaved sly who kept me waiting for about 3 hours saying just 15 mins. Atlast he came up with the solution of arranging the flight via Bangalore.hence being helpless I got convinced as it was really important for me to reach Mangalore anyhow for business purposes as not reaching Mangalore has cost me a loss of Rs 2.5 Crores. After landing the ground staff Ravi Pandit who was another sly jet employee who kept me waiting saying 5 mins and kept disappearing and kept me waiting for about 4 hours and then all he says is there are no flights from Bangalore to Mangalore and asked me to travel the 400 kms distance by road or they gave me an option of staying overnight in Bangalore and promised to provide accomodation . As it was quite late I chose the option of staying back in Bangalore overnight.But this was not enough of jet airways of mistreating its passenger at 20:30 ,they provided accommodation in a haunted building where it looked no one had ever lived.
                Seems like the jet employees are trained to sly, avoid, misguide and cheat on its employees rather than customer satisfaction. This chain of incidences has really been an eye opener of how an airline can torture its customers. I am seriously disgusted by this and would like to take some action against Jet Airways with the power of Media.

                I WAS BOOKED WITH JET AIRWAYS FROM LONDON-AHMEDABAD-LONDON. I WANTED TO EXTEND MY STAY 27TH DEC. ONWARDS, TRIED CALLING JET AIRWAYS SEVERAL TIMES IN INDIA...DID NOT GIVE ME AN EXTENTION. CAME TO LONDON AND CHECKED ONLINE, THERE ARE LOTS OF SEATS AVAILABLE IN JAN, SO WHY DID THEY DENY ME JUST ONE SEAT. THEY ASKED FOR MORE MONEY TO UPGRADE MY TICKET. HOW DISGUSTING IS THAT. WHEN I CAME HOME ON THE 27TH DEC. I FOUND MY BAGGAGE DAMAGED, MADE A CLAIM AT THE AIRPORT, THEY SAID THAT JET AIRWAYS WILL CONTACT YOU IN TWO DAYS, ITS BEEN 4 DAYS NOW, NOONE HAS BOTHERED TO SPEAK TO ME, THE CONTACT NO. THEY HAVE GIVEN IS UNREACHABLE, I HAVE LEFT SO MANY MESAGES BUT NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME YET. I THINK THIS IS THE WORST AIRLINE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. NEVER EVER AGAIN AND I WILL TELL ANYONE WHO HAS BOOKED WITH JETAIRWAYS, CANCEL YOUR TICKETS,

                  I am vishal Bakshi my company booked air ticket for travel to chennai .details of air tickets is flight No.9w - 2253 (delhi to chennai on 13/12/2009) and flight No.9w-830 (15/12/2009). i got two coupons from my company along with the tickets and told that i have to pay UDF charges along with coupons to get boarding pass.
                  when i contact jet airlines counter for boarding pass (Mr Gaurav) at delhi airport , he told me i have to pay 400 /- as UDF charges for both the coupons.i paid charges and got two reciept and he took both the coupons and told that i am giving you reciepts against coupons.after that i reached chennai and again started for delhi from chennai.i come to know that i have to produce again those coupons (which was already collected from me by Mr gaurav groud staff for jet airways) other wise my ticket is invalid and i have to buy new ticket for chennai to delhi.i complained to all senior staff at chennai airport.but no body was able to help me out on this issue .even we contacted delhi staff and that person (mr gaurav) denied that he is having coupons with him.

                  My simple question to airlines is ,i am having two reciepts (one (serial no.[protected] is for UDF charges Paid for Delhi to chennai) what about other recieptno.[protected] which is showing 200/- amount for UDF charges for chennai to delhi).

                    >My wife child and myself took jetairways Kochi - mumbai- calcutta flight on Tuesday 8th Dec 2009, departure at 1.00 PM to mumbai supposed to connect to Jet flight to calcutta.
                    >Due to poor visibility and the runway being under repair there at Mumbai we were diverted to land at Ahmedabad.
                    > Landed at mumbai airport at 6.00 PM
                    >Flight took off again at 8.30PM and landed at calcutta at 12 PM
                    During this entire journey we were never allowed deplane, neither at ahmedabad or at mumbai.
                    No food whatsoever was provided by jet airways let alone to us but not even for the child. ( it is a matter of irony that the voice over announcement comes that Jet airways has something to do with protection of children programme and their CEO writes eloquently on it in his inflight magazine)
                    Since this is a budget flight, food could only be purchased. when we asked, the air hostess/ waitress told us to remain at the seat. when it came to our turn there was nothing vegetarian available. Hence no food at all. simple !
                    when we asked "executives" who entered the plane at Mumbai airport, whether we can purchase any vegetarian food from the airport or let some one buy for us, we were brusquely told to deplane and over that were roundly abused by their "chief executive". His name badge was turned inwards, he did not reveal his name when asked for. Understandbly, no one else was willing to reveal their boss's name.
                    11hrs in a flight (imprisoned for no fault o[censored]s), starved, and abused. What more Jet airways?
                    I travelled from Delhi to Kathmandu (Nepal )on 26th Dec 2009 by flight no S2 501 Jet lite and checked vide eticket no:[protected] PNR No: KF32HQ with the baggage tag no[protected] wherein I had checked the baggage at 10.30 to 11.00 am at Delhi where no much traffic was there even due to delay in the flight for 45 minutes at Delhi the baggage was with the Delhi Airport, The flight started around12.50 PM. In my baggage I had kept Rs 40, 000 rapped in Blanket and I was having no hand baggage. The baggage was locked with additional lock.

                    At kathmandu my baggage came immediatley with lock in place propely. After reaching hotel I am surprised to see the Blanket uprupted and no cash. I am of the opinion that at Delhi Airport after scanning the bag they have opened and taken out cash from my bag ( suitcase) .

                    While I was registering the complaint on 28th Dec 2009 another person Mr KanhiyalAl Pawa President of Gurgaon Vypar Sang also frame the same charges.

                    It is clear evident that at Delhi Airport having latest technology of CCTV, the group is envolved with higher ups to manipulate and snatch the day robbery of check in baggages. Who will tie the bell to check and stop the robbery??

                      Me and a friend had planned a holiday in Udaipur from 27thto 29th Nov, 27th Nov being my birthday. We were to fly out on 9W 707 at 1345 on 27th Nov.

                      We reached the airport at 1230, checked in and waited. While we were talking we heard an announcement for flight 707, we gathered our stuff and went down to the boarding area. There was no one at the designated gate (gate 12), we looked around for a Jet personnel and after about 5 minute spotted one. We went up to him and he informed us that the flight has left. The time was 1338. We requested him to help us get on the flight but I guess it didn’t work. And thus ended our holiday even before it began.

                      Considering we came to the airport well before 1 hour and reacted promptly enough to the boarding announcement, I am still wondering how this happened. Needless to say it was very, very disappointing to have this happen to me on my birthday, on my first holiday is 18 months. If they could have off-load our luggage, they could have β€œon-loaded” us!

                      Yesterday I got a call from a Jet Airways representative, who apologised, as they usually do and basically put the blame on the airport authority and me. In a scenario when in the last 3 years not 1 flight that I have taken has been on time, this is very difficult to digest. Yes in airport in US and Europe boarding announcements are not made and passengers are required to come to the gate, in India if this were to happen passengers will be waiting at the gate for a minimum of 30 mins and there will be a huge crowd at each gate.

                      They ask us to be understanding when flights are late, how can they make do with 1 boarding announcement and how could gates close 5 minutes post that announcement?

                      I have always liked flying Jet but that experience is now forever soured by this experience.

                        I am really disappointed at the services of Jet Airways. I booked a full ticket from London to Goa with a stop over in Mumbai.
                        First of all, they made us to remove laguage in Mumbai and then carry them to another flight making all the procedure for check in. Not only that THEY CHARGED MONEY TO HAVE SOFT DRINK WHILE THEY SHOULD HAVE SERVED A SNACK ACCORDING TO THE ITENERARY. I BOOKED THIS TICKET FOR MY PARENTS IN LAWS AND THEY GO EVERY YEAR TO GOA BUT NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD TRAVEL EXPERIENCE. THEY ARE OLDER PEOPLE AND YOU CANNOT IMAGINE THE STRESS THEY WENT. I DEMAND AN EXPLANATION AND WANT REIBURSHMENT FOR THE LOW CLASS TREATMENT THEY OFFERED @ BOMBAY TO GOA FLIGHT.
                        For your information, the trip was made in the name of Mr. Isvarlal Amarchande & Indravati Deuchande on 1st of Dec. 2009.

                          I was boarding a flight from Dubai to Hyderabad on the 26th of November 2009.I had confirmed tickets for the flight.Understanding that there would be EID rush during this time of the year , I reached airport much in time.The departure was at 13:05 pm ,I reached airport by 11:30 am.I had excess baggage due to which I had to step outside the line and rearrange my luggage.I was leaving the country for good and was not given any waiver on the luggage.
                          I went to the plastic sheet wrap counter to remove some luggage and handed the same to my colleague who was waiting outside.The time was still 11:55 am then,There was one passenger before me and after taking that person into the flight the phillipino staff (not sure what his name was) told me that his working hours are over and he got up from the counter.

                          Ali Asghar Hussain was the Duty officer at jet airways Dubai for that day.After lots of pleading and requesting he allowed me on the flight.

                          My question is ,do I have to plead someone for putting me on a flight that I was confirmed on ? that I arrived on time ? that I paid 1800 Dirhams for just a one way ?

                          I would seek the jet airways team to look into this and ensure other donot suffer similarly.I am a frequest flyer through many airlines, and this was the first time i was flying with Jet Airways and trust I guess it would be the last.

                            ME -SANJAY SRIVASTAVA AND V BHAGWAT CHECKEDIN AT 5.45 AM FOR S2-381 FOR INDORE AT MUMBAI AIRPORT--GIVEN SEAT NO.25 D AND 25 E AND BOARDED THE PLAIN WHICH WAS INFORMED TO BE IN TIME FOR TAKEOFF.ON BOARDING IT WAS INFORMED THAT FLIGHT WILL NOT TAKE OFF DUE TO FOG AT INDORE AIRPORT AND HENCE WE WERE REQUIRED TO DEBOARD WITH HANDBAGGAGES AND ASKED TO WAIT FOR FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT.TO OUR UTTER SURPRISE WE WERE INFORMED THAT FLIGHT IS BEING CANCELLED WITHOUT WAITING FOR MORE TIME TILL NOON OR EVEN CONSULTING THE PASSENGERS WHO WERE ANYHOW READY TO TAKE A DELAYED FLIGHT.MS.ARVI--SR.CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER HAD NO ANSWER AND EVEN DID NOT OFFER ANY COURTSEY FOR TEA-COFFEE SNACKS DURING THIS 3 HOURS ORDEAL.WE WERE OFFERED CANCELLATION AND FULL REFUND BY HER WRITING ON OUR TICKETS.SIX HOURS HAVE PASSED SINCE THEN ,BUT AGENT HAS YET NOT RECD.ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS FLIGHT HAVING NOT TAKEN OFF--I.E.GOT CANCELLED.SUCH SHABBY MANAGEMENT BY ANY AIRLINE HAS NEVER SEEN BEFORE.I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT COMPENSATION OF LOST BUSINESS AT INDORE DUE TO SUCH ACT ON THE PART OF JETLITE,WILL BE REIMBURSED TO US,BESIDES MENTAL TORTURE.

                            Jetlite airlines — Fraud Airline (Jetlite)

                            I had booked a reservation for two on 18th september, (Pnr no PJBIDD), Mumbai-Chennai. The reservation was cancelled and the airline was supposed to refund the amount back after deducting the cancellation fees within 7-8 working days. However, 40 days have already passed and the airline has not replied on the status, despite e-mails and phonecalls to the callcentre. I have no choice left now.

                            Jetlite — Flight Cancelled with information

                            Case: I booked a flight ticket through Jetlite from Blore to Jaipur. Upon a casual enquiry 2 days before at Delhi Airport, the Jetlite Staff member gave me false information alongwith the printout of the ticket for Blore to Jaipur.
                            When I called next day (1 day before the travel) to confirm the timing of the Flight they told they have cancelled the fight long back.

                            Result: My Mother had to wait at the Airport for 10 hrs before she got another flight by paying a heavy premium for just in time booking.

                            My complaint : I should have been informed of the change in flight schedule by Phone, Sms or email. The staff member at Jetlite should not have given me the False information.

                            Note: I can Produce necessary proof of the above--mentioned case.
                            I agree that jetlite is not flying in time and seems to be loosing its promise of flying with commitment.I had a bad experience of flight delay from HYD to Lucknow via Delhi. I missed my onward same jetlite for which I lost important meetings.
                            Later on after a couple of days I once again was informed by Jetlite one hour before flight Departure that the scheduled flight is cancelled due to tech problem.
                            We are loosing a lot due to their problem and jetlite should do something to regain back faith from costomers.The refund should be full refund and within 24-48 hours back to our account

                              We [ 4 passengers with PNR No.FXPTHX] were confirmrd passengers of Flt S2-702 from Ghy to Kolkata on 13th Nov 2009. However, at the last moment, while standing at the queue, we were informed that we would not be offered boarding as due to some 'problem'. We had to postpone our journey in spite of having confirmed tickets and hence ended up missing a very important business meeting amounting to loss of contracts worth great amounts besides facing harassment in having to stay in the airport for hours with no proper care.
                              In particular, we would like to draw attention to the most uncooperative and rude behaviour by a staff named Pallabi Bhuyan at the Guwahati counter.
                              This is a grave problem and the financial losses incurred by the lack of apathy on the part of the Jetlite authorities needs to be taken seriously. Through this forum, we would seek full compensation for the hardships and losses faced by us due to the callous attitude of the Jetlite authorities, besides demanding disciplinary action in the errant employees.

                              JETLITE S2 - 702 — Harrasment of Passenger by Jetlite Staff for flight S2-702 at guwahati airport

                              Flight No. S2-702 go to mumbai from Guwahati via Kolkata. we are going to kolkata from that flight. when we reached at airport for our boarding pass than found that they are not issuing boarding pass to kolkata passenger and they are issuing boarding pass to only Mumbai passenger. when we queried jetlite staff, then they said your ticket is not confirmed. than we found that there are lot of people who is going to kolkata are in same place as me. than we start arguing with jetlite staff than they said that they are helpless. we are not expecting such reply. that dont even informed us there ticket is not confirmed or ticket cancelled. after that, we start arguing than one of there staff called "PALLABI" said that we are not civilised peoples. she make mockery o[censored]s. they completely misbehaved with us. If they are cancelling our ticket than they have to inform us.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I am a privileged customer of Jet Airways. On 13th Morning I reached at Guwahati airport to catch the Flight No S2-702 going to Mumbai via Kolkata. I was going to Kolkata. But there was no employee on the counter while I was on the Line to get my Boarding Pass. Suddenly I observed that one employee name Kamsi taking the passengers going to Mumbai from the line. After asking her I came to know that my Flight has been re scheduled. & they have arranged one flight for the Mumbai people only. and they didnot even informed any of the passenger. When we protested then Kamsi misbehaved. After around 30 minutes their manager came & has no answer for all the misarrangements. Then another employee named Pallavi also misbehaved and told that I am uncivilized. These type of employees they have recruited and the service they are providing to the customers.

                                Dear Sir: I am an US Citizen and a retire person with age of 67. I had booked two tickets for India for travelling domestic flight from Mumbai(Bombay) to Vdodara(Baroda) on 17th November 2009 with flight nomber 9W 2055. I had purchased ticket from Newark NJ to Mumbai by Continental and domestic flight with Jet airways by Internet. I just knew that Jet airways misleading people and discremate to passeners. The person advised me that if I go with 1st flight, Jet Airways allow only One Bag (in splite of International passenger) and if I travel by 2nd flight, Jet Airways allowe two bags. At the time of reservation, there was No Way to know all these condition. This is wrong way to charge more money. As we are travelling with 1st flight, Jet Airline charhes @Rs 137 per kg means Rs137 * 23(kg extra bag) * 2 (two passengers) = Rs 6302 = approximate $137 at rate of $1 = Rs 46.10. This is very unusual and sophitical way and taking more money - indirect way from International Passengers.

                                  Sir/Madam,

                                  I had booked a Jetlite flight through Yatra.com on 17th Oct 2009 from Bombay to Indore. On15th Oct I received a call from Jetlite saying my flight got cancelled and they provided me another Kingfisher flight. When I asked them to cancel it, they asked me to cancel through Yatra.com only. Hence I did the same on 16th Oct. But I have not got any refund.
                                  When I talked with Yatra.com and Jet lite customer care after 3-4 days, they asked me to come Jetlite counter and get the corresponding exchanged ticket number. When I reached to Indore airport for getting the same then she ( Dipika from Jet lite) told me that she can not provide me exchange ticket number, she would check the whole things with Bombay and then come back to me.

                                  Still it has been around 20 days but they are not able to provide me the refund. It has already wasted my lots of time and money, Please help me to get the full refund or suggest me what I should do ?

                                  It is very difficult for me to find a single free day and go airport again and again.
                                  Looking for your immediate action!

                                  When i reached the airport to take my flight they told that it has been cancelled, they didnt feel the responsibility to inform in advance. After that when i asked about the refund they said that there will be full refund as the flight has been cancelled. As mine was an online booking i thought the money will be transferred automatically as they are having all the details. But now its more than a month and nothing has been done.

                                  Jetlite — NO REFUND AFTER CANCELLATION

                                  I could not board on 12th of August due to a Traffic Jam in Delhi, Jetlite company cancelled the tickets on the same day that is 12th Aug 2008 & asked me to meet the bangalore airport counter for necessary refund as i had booked my tickets in b'lore Airport. The Bangalore Airport Jetlite Staff collected the necessary details of my credit cards on 20th of August 2008 in BIAL JETLITE COUNTER & promised me that the money would be refunded to the concerned credit card companies by 26th August 2008 but still now it has not been refunded & i am running around from more than a month for the refund as the Credit Card Companies have already charged me a fine of almost Rs.4500/-..
                                  As i am in a FIX and if this amount is still not cleared to the concerned Credit Card Companies They will start Harassing me & i will have no other option but to go to the "CONSUMER COURT OF LAW" and also go to the "PRESS"

                                  I have also faced similar harrasment from Jetlite. Actually i booked my ticket through a travel agency ezegoo1 with refernce number EZR[protected]/A (A JETLITE FLIGHT)and its been 1 month and 15 days and NO REFUND this is STEALING in plain words with the money of hundreds of people imagine...i think its time for lawful authorities to pitch in and do something against JET LITE and JET airways. They cant indefinitely keep doing this...everyone knows they are in bad financial condition now but taking peoples money like this is worng.

                                    Myself and my husband travelled from US to India on July 11 2008. As our flight time was changed, unfortunately we got option of taking jetairways from mumbai to chennai. we havent experienced such a big theft. they stolen everything.. ( camera, shoes, i pods, choclates, perfumes, even CD's) they left only our dresses. so please iam requesting people from abroads dont prefer JET AIRWAYS. i lost nearly 1 lac cost of things.

                                    My husbands bags were full of presents from the states that we shopped for all year. He was bringing them to India after two years of not seeing his family. Jet-airways obviously hires crooks!

                                      I have booked a ticket with Jet airways in August in the name of Girish Ganeriwala which by mistake the staff booked in the name of Ganesh Ganeriwala. When i noticed the same, i informed the jet airways call centre and got the ticket cancelled on 2nd Sept 2009 and rebooked another one.

                                      Since it was an staff error, i was offered the entire amount as refund. As per the call centre staff the refund generally takes 2-3 weeks. However its almost 2 months and i have still not received the refund. I have called their call centres some 10 times in the past 2 weeks but everytime they say that the refund is under process. ALso on two occasions i was promised that i will receive a call from their refund department updating me on the same. However i am still awaiting calls from them.

                                      The calls generally lasts for 10-15 minutes taking precious time of mine for a mistake done by their staff. Also it has become like a mental harassment for me chasing jet airways like this.

                                        Hello,

                                        I am a Seaman working on merchant navy and a frequent traveler with multiple airlines residing at Salem. I have used the facilities of Jetlite for traveling in the past from Coimbatore to Mumbai and back very often in the past.

                                        The last time I traveled from Coimbatore to Mumbai on 21/10/09 using Jetlite.

                                        I was just carrying 1 backpack and since it was bit inconvenient for me to carry with me on board I had decided to check it in. My bag pack had multiple compartments and I had 3 locks for the same. After scanning of the bag by the officials of Jet lite I had asked the Guy present from Jetlite to Seal the locks on the bag which is usual practice by the other airlines too. But the person present there even after insisting to put the seal mentioned that it is not required to be put and he did not put the plastic lock or the seal on the existing lock.

                                        Upon reaching Mumbai at residence while trying to open the locks of one of my bags compartment I realized that it has been tampered upon and has been opened after the bag was checked in. There was a Red colour Sony Cyber shot digital camera which has been stolen from my bag. The camera model is DSC-T700, cost 18000/-

                                        Tag for the checked in baggage has the following details

                                        Please take appropriate action asap and please get back to me. I am going to place this complaint on various newspapers and also communicate to all my colleagues on merchant who are frequent travelers about the happenings at Jetlite

                                        Jetlite — Camera stolen from the bag in Jetlite Flight.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        Myself Ashapal Gupta along with one of the college was traveling to Delhi on 27th Jan 09 by Jet lite Flight no S2-102, PNR No-FNIFYS from Mumbai to Delhi seat No 24B and 24C.

                                        I have checked in the luggage at Mumbai Airport for the Cabin Baggage, and received the bag at Delhi Airport. The plastic seal was present on the bag intact, but when i have checked the bag after reaching to Hotel opened the plastic lock fixed at the screening counter found that my Brand New Digital Camera Olympus make was missing from the bag.

                                        I tried contacting the Jet lite terminal no[protected] and 25674878 given by their customer care department no30302020 but could not reach them.

                                        Even our admin dept wrote the letter to the jet lite on Jetlite India Ltd, Complaints Redressal Department, Terminal 1B, CS Domestic Airport, Santacruz East Mumbai-99. And also market the copy to Delhi on Jetlite India Ltd, Terminal 1B, IGI Airport, New Delhi-110037. along with the email on [protected]@jetlite.com.

                                        But still now i have not heard any thing from them.

                                        As the above camera was the property of the Company and hence i have to pay from my pocket for the cost of the same.

                                        So i request to look in to the matter and do the need ful.
