My wife was admitted in the hospital on 1st December 2022 (KH[protected]) and unfortunately passed away on 13th December 2022 during treatment.
I am satisfied with the treatment of treating doctors.
But unfortunately I haven't received the discharge summary from the hospital till today nor any communication from their end, whereas I have received the copy of death certificate very promptly from BMC authorities also.
It is very unfortunate that the such a important document not given in time by the authority and which creates mental harassment for me.
I am 70 yrs senior citizen will be find very difficult to run for document

    After taking appointment in sonography department there is no use, as we need to wait for hours and no timelines are also shared.Each person in reception counter tell new story which is very irritating. Complete revamp and procedure needs to setup. We visit Kokilaben frequently since 2007, have never faced same issue other then this department. If doctors have emergency then there should be an alternative available as generally after sonography patients take appointment for doctors on the same day, which cannot be planned.Highly misguided department.Disappointment.

      Deposit money

      We visited this hospital this year in January for an emergency.
      my father Mr. Jaspal Singh Saluja need to undergo a surgery which was done successfully.

      However, we require to pay 26000rs as a deposit amount for registration that was suppose to be credited back to us in 14 days of leaving the hospital.

      It's been almost a year we are trying to reach out to the hospital staff and the doctor who did the...

      This is to inform that on 9th Sept 2022 I had an appointment with Dr. Prashant Bobhate - Pediatric cardiologist at Kokilaben hospital at 9am for my 5 year old son. The appointment was for ECG, 2d Echo and Dr.’s consultation.

      The appointment was confirmed to me over a call by the pediatric cardiology front office staff Ms. Akanksha.

      We reached at sharp 9am and there was no front office staff available at that moment. The front office staff came at 9.30am. We kept sitting and waiting till 10.30am and there was no nursing staff to do the ECG. 2D echo screening and Dr. consultation was supposed to happen post ECG.

      I had taken an off from my office and kept aside an important meeting I had to attend today.

      I am an healthcare professional and I work for MediBuddy. Personally, I at MediBuddy assist Reliance group of companies for their employees annual health check.

      I have been visiting Kokilaben Hospital and my son has been under Dr. Prashant’s observation since 2018.

      I would like to notify the senior management of Kokilaben Hospital that this is the case most pf the time I visit Kokilaben hospital.

      The moment I raised this concern to the front office, the front office staff said that they were informed by the nursing staff and the Dr. to place the appointment at 9am and the fromt office staff did not take any responsibility of the same and were not even bothered to call the nursing staff and the Dr. and inform that there were patients waiting. The front office staff rather rudely told me to complain to the concerned department.

      I would like to lodge a serious complaint against this issue and would urge Kokilaben Hospital management to rectify and resolve this issue of improper roster management and cultivate some sort of time discoplinary manners amongst the staff as the patients time is o[censored]tmost importance and we pay huge amount of money here for quality service and not incovenience/poor service delivery.

      Through my official medium, I will personally also raise this to the senior management/key officials of Kokilaben hospital.

        Mamta kothari uid [protected], registered mobile [protected], was admitted on july 1st n underwent heart bypass surgery, under dr nandkishore kapadia, was discharged on july 7th
        Insurance company has already settled claim by hospital a month back, informed to me by my agent, bur i have not yet received my deposit ammount
        No one is answering the calls, billing department says, we dont know, there's seperate department, hospital was supposed to refund me as soon as they received their money from insurance company,
        Kindly do the neefull in this matter asap

          My father is a 76 yr old cancer patient getting radiation in KDA. He has already been treated for cancer once and carries a stoma bag. The radiation package is of 3.50 lacs.
          Inspite of paying so much, there are no basic facilities of paper, cotton or Walter in the loo. He is so fed up that he is willing to give up the radiation treatment.
          One should be sensitive to such old cancer patient.
          It’s just been 3 radiation and he is not feeling good about the sensitivity.
          I don’t know what to do.
          Should I go to another hospital and spend another 3 lacs.

            Address: 1701, Montreal, Sai Akashdeep CHSL, Evershine Nagar, Malad West, Mumbai.

            3 chemo secession for cancer patient Bhuvaneshwari G Rao was carried out on 26.05.22, 09.06.22 and 22.06.22. First was hospitalisation and second and third at day care.
            One of the medicine, 5FU 4000, required to be administered for 44 hours, failed to meet time requirement in all three secessions. While the first at the hospital took about 50 hours, second thru Baxter pump was arround 52 hours and third thru Baxter pump completed before time in about 30 hours. Highly obliged to have following clarification:
            1. Possible impact on the patient due to not administering the said medicine for 44 hours.
            2. Reason for not meeting the time requirement.
            3. Expected corrective action in the next three secessions.
            Your prompt reply will help reduce the mental stress of the patient.

              No pillow, no blanket is provided to patient attendor . Room No 11030. I pawan agrawal already a heart patient requested three times at counter . Sister intimated to paintry department but after waiting a long night hope water will not come . Let attender die and no responsibility of hospital management.                   The washrooms in the OPD are always extremely dirty with no one around for maintenance. If a hospital is unhygienic, how can we expect other public places to be clean and healthy?! The amounts that they charge are not reflected in the upkeep of the hospital. It is extremely appalling the hygiene is taken so casually at a premier health care institution.

                      My dad was admitted into kokilaben hospital in December 2021 it’s been more than 5 months and I still have not recived my cash deposit refund l. While depositing they said after you r discharged within 2 months your deposited money will be back into your bank account they will transfer it back but still I have not recived it .

                        This is Pooja Khandelwal and my father has got his surgery from your Hospital. He is having issues after the surgery but after calling for a month and telling his problems again again finally we got the appointment then too they confirmed the appointment and canceled it and we had already booked our flight tickets from indore but after calling and telling them thn it would be a loss for us the assistant said it’s none of her concern than we wrote a big letter directly to the doctor and the appointment got confirmed.
                        So today we are here but most of your staff is rude and they have no respect for anyone. They treat people like cats and dogs. My father is having a severe pain and I had got an appointment for 6pm and we have been told that we have to wait just for half n hour 45 min and I already told them my father can’t sit for a long time he is having trouble but they didn’t listen and made us wait for almost 3 hours.
                        What kind of hospital is this, what services you are giving to your patients you guys are charging bomb from us but you can’t give a proper service. Everyone is trying thr best to get the money and get treated from the best but is this the way your staff should treat a common man. They feel that they owned the hospital and speak rudely.
                        And they actually don’t care how a patient or there relatives would be feeling . I’m really disappointed with your staff . The treatment might be the good but the amount you are charging us plus we have go through rude behavior of your staff as well is a shame.
                        I don’t know if you are going to do anything about it or no but u had to write this.

                          Refund of Initial Deposit

                          I have had my surgery on 13th August 2021. I made an upfront payment of Rs. 2, 60, 000 prior to my admission even if I have had insurance.

                          On discharge, KDAH refunded 80% of the refund amount after 6 weeks of my rigorous follow-up; and the remaining 20% refund is still pending, even after 6 months....

                          Mismanagement

                          Hi,

                          Patient name : Dinesh Shetty.

                          We have been called for operation of cataract of my father, who is 68, on 29th jan 2022 at 2 pm and its 4pm still we are waiting with no response from the doctors or nurse. Such issue of mismanagement is not expected from kokilaben hospital. Its like our time is not valued at all. Time and date were given by hospital then we were made to suffer.                             I visited your Andheri West Hospital on 27th Jan 2022 as I was suffering from high Blood Pressure and this was done with the intent to get proper advice and treatment for my future well being. The flow of my experience and money drained is as under:-
                            On stepping inside the hospital there was a so-called reception area where no one was sitting to guide and on viewing all the corners I found that the reception is actually an illusion and the real reception is at the back where I went and asked information regarding my appointment and was asked to go to the first floor.
                            I went to the first floor and there I was asked to get the token which I got from the machine "N33" then asked to fill a detailed form.
                            I filled all the details and gave the same to the lady cashier who told me that the charges are 2200/- rupees which I paid via my credit card. My Patient ID is KH[protected]
                            I was asked to follow the dark grey line (which was not grey rather a shade of magenta) and I headed towards the cardiac department as I know English but others may not, from here the twist starts
                            There was no one to guide what to do next.
                            I found the room of Mr. Pravin Kahale which was closed and the doctor was not there.
                            I enquired the same to the nurse and she said he is on visit but I was given the appointment of 10:30am and was asked on the day of appointment that I should reach 15 min before the scheduled time and there should not be any delay. I I would have come after a couple of hours from my scheduled time then it would have become a sin and lectures would have started.
                            Then the lady nurse told me to get my BP checked which she did.
                            Till 11:30 I waited and asked the receptionist on the first floor as to where the doctor was, then she said "you have to wait as the doctor is on round and will come after some time and the exact reason is not known" . At this point it was more than an hour for me waiting on the floor.
                            Then the Doctor came and he found his room locked . After a min of waiting he asked me to come to the pathology/nurse room where he started asking things based on my previous doctor prescriptions.
                            He asked me for my weight, height etc which I answered but why did the hospital not check my weight and height when you are ballooning the charges to 2200 rupees (registration 200 and primary consultation 2000) without doing anything and just using two papers (prescription and bill of supply) as your total investment.
                            Why was the weight and other important parameters not checked? as it should be part of the checking criterion (weight, height, oxygen level, temperature, BP) in the hospital for each and every patient who walks in.
                            The security lady at the entrance was too rude and she was thinking as if all are hale and hearty and treated everyone with rude behavior irrespective of one being a patient.
                            An individual is going to such a reputed hospital to get better health services, care and to be served better rather than being drained from pocked with no effort from the hospital side for the welfare of the patient.
                            It was a huge waste of time as from around 10 am I was there and till 11:55 am I had moved out of the hospital. When so much amount and time is taken then why proper services are not given to patients who are already suffering from a health and financial point of view. Your motto "Every life matters" does not reflect from the level of services you are providing. Every desk and bench should be properly sprayed, cleaned basis covid protocol which was not happening during my stay of 2 hrs. Only emphasis given by hospital is to show-off rather than to show empathy and care to patients. No email id given on file and on bill of supply or prescription.

                              My grandfather is admitted in the hospital for haematoma. he was tested for Covid on admittance and was on precautionary basis put in isolation (tested negative and yet in covid ward). the Senior Dr Abhaya P Kumar, treated my father at his worst, yelling on the hospital floor that we are LIARS as the hospital staff kept updating us regarding my grandfather and we said we had no information on anything which was a fact as it was before the surgery that nothing was updated regarding the case not even the date of surgery and health status as the patient was in CoVID ward. after the surgery this changed, the family received updates on daily basis to which doctor calls everyone a LIAR, creating a Public Display against a man of twice his age and stature. I would like to complain again this mistreatment from a Senior Neurosurgeon of a well established institute who treats the family of an 82YO patient with a least humanity he can bear.

                                I got my mother admitted at 6.30 pm today since then no one has bothered to attend her I requested water for her that too was not given. Her bed number is 1272 we are also unaware what will be future plan of action.

The don't bother explaining anything to patients or answer their queries. But this idiotic women has taken it to next level. Never in my life seen someone behaved so rudely.
