Very poor service, hospital staff and nurses are very rude and not courteous, nurses are not responding when called for and also give back when asked for help, they are concerned in over charging to patients and not at all treat patients properly. Doctors are also not replying properly when ask related to it. Also management are least concerned complaint about the service i am highly disappointed. Request you to look into this seriously

    Hi,

    Re: patient id kh[protected]

I was admitted in kokilaben hospital at andheri for heart attack and operated by dr. Prashant nair. After discharge i was told that i would get refund from my deposit of rs.50000/- in 2 installments - one within 7 days and another within 2 months.

However, i have not even received my first cheque which was promised within 7 days. I have tried to contact hospital several times, but they keep telling they have courier the cheque but refuse to provide any details like tracking number of courier.

Please request you to urgently release the total amount, as i arranged these funds with great difficulty by borrowing from my relatives and need the money urgently.

Kindly confirm if you want my bank details, so you can transfer the amount instantly.

Await your urgent resolution in the matter.

    Thanking you,
    Regards,
    Vivek dhabalia.

Ms. Riddhi of the report collection department lied and told me that I have already collected the report just because she couldn't find me. Till I had not dialled the police helpline she did not give me my report. I have also decided to file a fraud complaint against her and the hospital. They should have a CCTV camera near this place so they know who collected the reports.

        huge bill

My husband is admitted in your hospital since 10 days, no doubt he is getting best treatment but the cost of treatment is just too high. Now the bill is already crossed over 9 lakh that is just too much high for middle class & service people like us, you are giving relief to poor people but what about people like us i e. Middle class people who come here in emergency. I asked at so many place including administrative staff but disappointed...

The most unprofessionaly managed hospital. State run hospitals are far better in every aspect other than jazzy looks. Right from the admission desk till the surgery (Which is still going on), we have been made feel like the the most useless person on the planet.

Attending ward boys / nurses don't have any clue as what's happening.

Admission and tpa desk doesn't have any proper comms.

Patient relatives are made to wait endlessly without any kind of info.

And if you go to ask someone, you will get to hear the same dialogue "ek minute". And that would minute never comes...

Supposedly 2 hrs surgery has already tak n 5 hrs. We are trying to find update... But, by whom... No desk... Can't leave the place... Can't have even water as same not provided...

A total failure... It's really a big disappointment...

Someone really need to do a proper review and audit of the system and not just paper filing.

I made an appointment with dr anu aggarwal of neuro dept. For my 80 yr old mother for checkup. Appointment was confirmed for 11:15, we got there at 10:45. I did the initial registration in billing and was seated at 11:00 am in waiting area. Until 12:00 noon, no one called us. When i checked with front desk, they told me that doctor is not even in & there are 3 more patients waiting for her in front o[censored]s.

I found it unacceptable that this doctor schedules appointment & does not even show up for work. I thought that this hospital was professionally managed, and doctors took great care of their patient.

Sitting in the waiting room, i observed totally different picture. The front staff is rude and thinks that they are in railway station. Doctors come & go as they please, keeping patients wasting. Front desk routinely tell patients that doctor has to attend emergency. Since patients are not knowledgeable enough to understand which doctor could be called for emergency (Like surgeons) and which one do not, they simply accept the lie & wait patiently (No pun intended).

Based on this experience, i will never to the business again with this hospital.

Dr. Pooja dewan needs to understand and respect her own profession a little more.
Me and my husband visited her in april 2016 for a fertility treatment.
Her high handed attitude is demeaning to the patients, i was advised to undergo ivf with icsi (Due to low sperm count) in my case.
We asked for an iui attempt and she shrugged us off stating that you will never conceive naturally or via iui with these figures.
Deep down my gut feeling was that i could conceive with iui as the figures were below average not worst!.

All she recommended me was get admitted asap for a diagnostic laproscopy and next month we will finish your ivf with icsi.
Her hurry made me worry! I said why the laproscopy why unnecessary admission and surgery are my fallopian tubes blocked?.. She had no answer only rant was its a standard procedure for ivf please dont argue over my procedure.
I could see the greed of 4lakhs (Cost of ivf + diagnostics laproscopy in kda hospital) in her tone and overall mannerisms.

Also the way she was treating her junior doctor (Intern) in front of the patients, berating her left, right.

That was it!. I took my file and vouched never to see her face again will never recommend her to even my worst enemies!!

She is in a noble profession of providing children to childless couples she should handle her profession and capabilities with a little more dignity, grace and compassion to her patients.

And yes i may not be an expert but she really needs to evaluate her set of process and guidelines as each couple has different issues and cant be treated in a set mould of 100 odd tests and believe me certain tests don't even matter.

The odd bill of tests itself cost me around 30k inr.

As i got a second opinion and all her tests were deemed not necessary and was advised for an iui with basic 5 blood tests and certain medication.

I would urge the kdah authorities to take some corrective actions for the cref department and get someone with more experience and guidance in this sensitive field.

My dad is an inpatient at the hospital, he has limited mobility but there is severe disregard of hygiene here... For past two days despite several requests to nurses no one has taken care of his oral hygiene needs, the tabletop has food stains that despite several requests no-one cleans, dirty dishes lie about after meals sometimes overnight, similarly the toilet seat is dirty... Severe risk of infection due to dirty conditions at the hospital

I have done my c section delivery and sterilisation from Kokilaben they had given me only one anaesthesia and charged me for two and surgery took only one and half hour they charged me for three hour . In their bill summary the charges for surgeon is 20000 rs and they took 30000 from me . This is so unfair

                    To whomsoever it may concern,
Last week, we had my father, mr. Anand gokarn, admitted in your hospital under the care of dr. Abhaya kumar. He had been experiencing intolerable pain around his back and arm for a fortnight before that. My humble understanding of the case was that the jelly like substance between the sixth and seventh cervical disk of my father’s spine had shifted, and consequently there was a portion of it bulging out and pressuring a nerve near it. Dr. Kumar explained my father’s condition, told us that we had a choice of two procedures in that condition – one involved administering an injection that does not come with guaranteed results. The other procedure was surgery, and this surgery was guaranteed to resolve the problem. When we opted for the surgery, he assured us that after this surgery, “the pain will go away immediately, only the numbness will remain for a while.”
Having met dr. Kumar for the first time in life, we were a little worried about going in for surgery; hence we consulted our family doctor, dr. Uday andar. He asked us not to go in for surgery as it might lock my father’s movements by 30-40% in all directions. When we spoke to dr. Abhaya kumar about this, he clarified our doubts and told us that the surgery to be performed was a different one, and it would not lock his movements. I asked him whether there were any after effects of the surgery or anything i had to keep an eye out for. He assured me once again that everything would be fine, that “the pain will go away immediately, only the numbness will remain for a while. There might be a little bit of pain near the neck region where the incision was made, but no pain in the area where the nerve was being compressed.”
The following day, the surgery took place early in the morning. Everything went smoothly. By the same evening, however, my father began to experience the exact same amount of pain he had before the surgery, around his arm and back again. This had us all worried and confused, as we had been told categorically that there wouldn’t be any pain anymore in that region. After over 25 minutes of no painkiller being given to him and no on call doctor coming to take a look at him, i finally contacted dr. Kumar to understand why this was happening. He informed me then that since the nerve had been compressed for 15 days and because it tends to get bruised during surgery, it would take time to recover; and this was the reason for the pain, so it was completely normal. Having never been told about this in any of my earlier discussions with him about the surgery, i asked him whether there was a reason he hadn’t mentioned it. I also asked him how long the pain would take to recover. Dr. Kumar called me back and began to yell at me for panicking. I politely told him that i wasn’t panicking; i was simply confused about why this hadn’t been mentioned before and i just wanted to understand better how long it normally takes to recover. He continued to yell at me asking me why i wouldn’t wait for my answers till he turned up the next day. I explained to him that since we weren’t expecting the pain, it had me confused and i couldn’t wait. I immediately apologized to him for causing him any inconvenience i might have. He continued to yell at me, telling me about how he has been working since morning on a public holiday, and ‘doctors also have a family life’. Being a reasonable human being, i empathized with him and apologized yet again. I followed this up with a message apologizing two times more for causing him any inconvenience, explaining that since he hadn’t mentioned anything about this pain, we weren’t expecting it and we couldn’t have waited till the next day for answers, and thanking him for having taken the time to explain it to me.
Dr. Abhaya kumar, however, was not to be satisfied with this. He walked into the general ward with an entourage of nurses and assistant doctors, and humiliated my father in front of everyone for a good 20 minutes or more. My father, an extremely peace-loving saintly creature, folded his hands and apologized repeatedly on my behalf, but that wouldn’t appease dr. Kumar either. He asked whether his daughter had any other ‘confusions’ to be cleared and was there anything else she wanted to ‘understand better’. He continued to yell at my father, taunted us about having consulted our family doctor and claimed to be a better surgeon than him. Despite all of this, when i calmly asked him how long the pain usually takes to recover, he retorted rather loudly with, “i am not god, i don’t have all the answers.”
I suspect a doctor, who arrogantly claims to be better than dr. Uday andar and boasts to us about the number of cases he has handled, would have the answer to how long such a pain usually takes to recover; having seen this occur in other cases as well. Moreover, every single time that we spoke about the surgery or i asked what to keep an eye out for, it would have been nice to get something as simple as, “in some cases, the nerve gets bruised or takes time to recover from having been compressed for such a long time. He might experience the same pain, and that is completely normal. It usually takes xxx hours to recover, but it might take longer, in which case there is nothing to worry about. We will take care of it.” now, there’s a possibility that maybe it didn’t strike dr. Kumar to mention it to me in all the stress he has been going through working on public holidays, such as the 15th of august when this surgery took place, considering he had to be in surat the day before that; and not being able to get an adequate amount of ‘family life’. This is perfectly understandable. Here’s what is not understandable – his arrogance at having to be accountable and answerable to the patient’s family at a very appropriate hour for something that he forgot to mention. Then going ahead and taking the liberty to humiliate my father, the man who was in pain and no at all concerned with any of this, just so that he can teach a lesson to the people who dared to bother him because his patient was in pain and nobody was attending to that patient.
Abhay means fearless. And dr. Abhaya kumar is indeed fearless. He fears no god or conscience. He fears no professional ethics that involve how much of a sacrilege it is to distress a patient, or how being answerable to his patient’s family, while the patient is still under his care, is an indispensable part of his job. Being a lesser mortal than him, however, i don’t enjoy the same fearless spirit that drives him. I do fear his ego, which is more fragile than my father’s nerve. This ego of his compelled my father and me to apologize to him repeatedly after he humiliated us, despite the fact that we weren’t actually wrong. When bruised, this ego of his could cause more pain to his patient and their families than my father’s bruised nerve caused him. Well, at least, dr. Kumar, who is not god and does not have all the answers, had more solutions handy for his bruised ego, than he did for my father’s bruised nerve; even if those solutions came at the cost of a patient and his family being publicly shamed, when they did not deserve it. At our last consultation with him, i was reminded of how much i worried about him and any other patients of his, who might face the same victimization, by his haughty approach towards us. Let me, however, tell you one thing – dr. Abhaya kumar is an outstanding spine surgeon. We met him to make sure my father has no pain in his spine anymore, and he made sure that the minute his own ego was hurt, my father went back home with a head hung rather low.

Thank you sincerely for your time,
                    Puja gokarn.

Dr puja dewan is so depressive and demotivating, that instead of helping and supporting the patients, she started demotivating and dejecting the patients. Her staff is also very rude and mismanaged. After spending so much of money it’s only one way communication. She just don’t wana listen to u or understand ur problem.
If in near future the management don't change the doctor or if dr don't change her attitude towards patients cref will soon be shut down.

My grandfather who was treated under dr. Jyotsna oak at kdam, was admitted on 4th july, 2018 and passed away on 11th july, 2018. Our family was never informed about the daily teatments, tests or diagnosis process throughout. We had the worst experience. He did not have any cardiac problem when he was admitted but due to aggressive treatments and medication (Including steroids about which we were never informed) led to pressure and impact on his heart. Dr. Jyotsna oak is extremely rude and the worst doctor we’ve ever met. She treats patients like toys. We really lost a very special and close family member only because of the ill treatment by the hospital and horrible behavior shown by dr. Jyotsna oak. Our bad we got her as our doctor. She treated our family members like we were some criminals whenever we tried to ask her anything about the diagnosis or treatment happening on my grandfather. Guess her target was just to get a 3 lakh plus bill from our family and take a god persons life for a toss. We regret that we admitted him in kdah when he was fit and fine with just little and minute problems which would not have to led to this hell. Our entire family is very very disturbed and everyone is still in a shock.

                          Hi,

I wanted to meet dr. Jayanti mani from kokilaben hospital for my grandmother leela saruparia.
The appointment desk told me that the appointment could not be given for coming saturday as it was full and that i can reach out to neuroscience department. The person who received the call from the neuroscience department was extremely rude and unhelpful. I explained her my situation and reason for why i was seeking a saturday appointment and unavailability to come on the weekdays. She was extremely rude and surprised that the hospital has such people employed for speaking to the patients.

                            Sir,
I am a new patient, appointment was fixed with your dr. Jyostna oak at 6p. M. On 23/05/2018. I came to your hospital, went to general opd for regn. I was sitting till 7p. M. Could not register on your system, iam told dr. Remmains upto 7 p. M. I was dragged from dr. Opd section to general opd to pay rs.1550/in cash, which was collected by your mr. Anantha from general opd manually, he wrote on the back of the token no.293 issued by your computer, and then dr. Checked me. I am told that when my regn card is ready and bill is ready, i will be informed? Till now i have not recd. Any call from the hospital. My observation is that your staff wants to go home early, hence this sort of negative tricks are played. There were so many patients waiting for more than 2to 4 hrs. As per my knowledge. I am a sr citizen, if your hospital is not regd. The patients in time, i was thinking to shift to other hospital, but your dr. Oak is good, she said i will check up first, then you register, hence i waited.
It carries wrong image of your hospital. The other patient was telling me that he faces your server down problem/system down problem very often. Pl. Find a solution for the same to see that patients visiting your hospital should not be asked to wait for a petty matter like regn. It should be always smooth and speedier like other hospitals. First impression should not be last impression

Am a patient of dr. Rajesh mistry, as doctor was in ot and i waited for an hour or more but the customer care officer were so rude and unprofessional while inquiring about his availability. This organization is such a reputed one but such employees are spoiling the environment and name of organization.

The ladies out there named sneha vrunali and mittal were busy in their gossips and cell phone. They were least bothered about the patients waiting and were so rude in their reply. After sometime a senior lady named dr. Priyadarshani came and i asked her about the availability and complained about the ladies at desk but she also replied rudely "why can't you wait and if you can't then go somewhere else where you don't have to wait". I really felt insulted but they didn't bothered as they were also laughing at me.

I would really appreciate if disciplinary action is taken against them.

To my utter disbelief, she not only misbehaved with me in front of her team of nurses and other patients present there, but made me wait for nearly two hours. I can understand that she had a surgery and so she was late. Now, it's a mere coincidence that her child and mine went to the same school. We have been on...

                                Dear team,

My wife mrs sandhya mujumdar got admitted yesterday on 9th march, 2018 for chemotherapy. Her hospital id is 24883964. When we got the bill, we were shocked to see that the halaven injection which was free of cost from the company, it's handling charge was billed at rs. 14, 100. Whereas the cost of halaven injection administered yesterday was rs. 62, 000 and handling charges at the rate of 10% should have been rs.6, 200. This means i was charged rs. 8, 000 extra. I have pointed to your biling department the mistake and also told that when last time chemo was done on 27/2/18 with free of cost halaven injection the handling charge was correctly levied as rs. 6, 200. Biling executive told me its not their mistake. You have to contact in day care. Day care in charge told to contact at pharmacy department at basement. I was made to see all the departments for nearly 3 hrs. At around 10om, pharmacy incharge mr. Prasad co-operated and made the corrections. Thereafter, we could finish the biling process at 10.30pm
The above procedure took nearly 3 and half hrs to rectify the bill and the patient instead of taking rest after chemo was made to wait in the lobby which is unethical and unhumanitarian.
Please take a note of above and take action against executives incharge.
                                Your process should be smooth
