I have wisited Lakme beauty Salon in Koregaon park in Pune for Hair spa. first of all their Hair expert(Anwer or same type of name) was showing so much of atitude in attending me(may be becoz i was not looking so much moderan).then their receiptionist sent another lady to attend me who was not expert in hair spa and during dryer she was pulling my hair like anything...

    I BOUGHT A LAKME ENRICH LIPCOLOR CLASSICS LIPSTICK NO 254 (GRAPE MATTE) FROM A RENOWNED SHOP IN GARIAHAT MARKET. ON THE FIFTH DAY THE LIPSTICK CAME OUT OF THE SOCKET IN A MOLTEN STATE. IN FACT IT WAS LOOKING LIKE MOLTEN HOT CHOCOLATE. I WENT BACK TO THE SHOP TO COMPLAIN . BUT THE LAKME REPRESENTATIVE IN THE SHOP REFUSED TO ACCEPT MY COMPLAINT . THIS ITSELF SPEAKS VOLUMES OF THE PATHETIC STATE OFAFFAIRS.I PAID MORE THAN 200RS FOR THIS TRASHY LIPSTICK AND I DEMAND A REPLACEMENT. IS ANYBODY OVER THERE IN LAKME HOUSE LISTENING!

      I am writing very strongly against Lakme Beauty Salon - Mulund (W), Mumbai. I had gone to there to do few services on eve of my Engagement.
      One therapist (named Sangeeta) did eyebrow & forehead threading for me, & god only knows created HAVOC on my skin. When i came back home my skin was so badly bruised with bad cut marks, as if someone had cut my skin with a knife!

      I was in an utter mental stress (when i should have been happy doing my engagement preparations)
      Thanks to my wonderful make-up artist, my cuts got concealed for my D-Day.

      It's now been over a week, & i feel the cuts will take a while to heal (imagine these are just threading cuts - & how much can a person go wrong!!!!!) I had to take dermat's help & i am now under some topical treatment.

      I sincerely urge this complaint forum to take a strict action against the salon & the therapist in question who just did not cause physical , but mental stress to me as well.

      I want to take this matter ahead & i will make sure the salon pays for their unprofessionalism.
      I urge all the ladies to NEVER EVER GO TO LAKME SALON. It's the most down market , unprofessional salon i 've ever been to.

      Guys, let me know will consumer court help me in this? I want a written apology letter from the salon along with a compensation fee + entire reimbursement of my bill.

      respected sir,
      i underwent per bridal and bridal package at lakme saloon in basaweshwarnagar bangalore and it was completely screwed and even then i paid complete amount the service was pathetic and the saree draping was hopeless and it came out on the way.it was done on 11th feb n pre bridal was done 2 days earlier. the girl was treated was a person by name lakshmi and it comes near modi hospital. pls tak right action els u ll get a bad reputition.

      finally i too gave up on lakme salon!! really pathetic... i was actually thinking of doing this long back but cud nt find the time and on the other hand thought it wud be a mistake once because i m not expecting much out of a lakme salon in a town called baroda (though the beauticians r trained ditto every where) but to my shock my marraige day was ruined. completely devastated. i looked like some cheap slumie boss. i was so annoyed that forget the make up they dont even know to drape a saree!! wat a waste was my package and its not a small amount at all... the floral facials they big talk about man..
      well i just let go that bec i din want to think about it ... i come to mumbai after getting married and m at a loss of words... i go lakme some where near dadar... looked like some dingy place. i decided to complaint but life goes on for newly weds.. dint bother again..
      part 3- comes when i shift to new mumbai and visit lakme at sanpada palm beach road!! wow... what a staff they have boss... they chat and chat n chat trying to get into personal details about the client. they dont pay attn on the work they have been given. worste is they sell themselves overly making u feel so . they manipulate u to go for the most expensive facials n jobs.. and even after u say yes.. u feel sick the way u look.. trust me my facials at home r hundred times better than lakme. i have so much to say about this guys.. i return back after taking an appoint twice for my pedicure . they simply said sorry bec they dint have water?? wow... cud nt they say this at all when i m taking the appt on the phone ? uff... they have a completely vernac staff.. who giggle with fellow staff... they r flirting n making noise. YES DO NOT GO TO LAKME TO GET FLEECED. THE MANAGMENT SHOULD GET PEOPLE LIKE ME TO PUT THEIR STAFF IN ORDER. TEACH THEM THAT PEOP COME TO GET RELAXED TO A PARLOUR NOT TO LISTEN TO THE CHAOS THEY CREATE. .YES THERE IS ONE LAKME SALON WHICH HAS GIVEN ME THE BEST.. AT LOKHANDWALA UNDER THE MANAGEMNT OF A LADY CALLED JYOTI IF I REMEMBER WELL... WAT A TREATMENT... NOW LAKME IS JUST A FALSE DREAM..


      I REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW U MIGHT BE FEELING AMRUTA N PREETAM.
      i have no bold issues with the services but there is no amount of hospitality when i visited Lakme, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar . the service providers behave as if they are giving the service for free. i have had to dress up for my brother's wedding and i had it all. i will never make another mistake by going there.
      Lakme saloon acharya niketan, khudiram bose marg, delhi, is pathetic. Its owner have no sense that how to talk with customers. After receive advance payment, if any issue to customer that time the owner of this saloon dont behave well and destroy a lady's important day of her life (marriage day) by doint horrible makeup.

      Kindly close acharya niketan, khudiram bose, delhi Lakme Saloon as soon as possible.

      I HAD ORDERD LAKMEYLN- Lakme absolute forever silk blue cosmo eyeliner (PRODUCT CODE[protected] on september 16th 2014.it had received on same september 20th 2014. product was defective.i want replace this product.

      Pathetic service

      Beware of Lakme Salon. Worst salon with pathetic services. High rates and zero service. Non experienced unmanned staff.

        LAKME and STREET WEAR are selling their Expired Cosmetics and products whose Expiry date is fast approaching/near.


        Incident No.1: I bought a LAKME High definition Eye-liner from Health & Glow store at Bangalore's shopping mall 'The Forum' on June 2009.
        I used it twice and started feeling itchiness on the skin above my eye lashes. Once the upper part of eye lids slightly swollen with a kind of mild infection.
        Later I realized the Eye liner was the culprit and checked its expiry date. It was expired 2 months back when I bought it at the store.
        Unfortunately i did not have the bill to register a complaint against this incident.

        Product Manufacturing date: April 2007
        Batch No. : B003

        Purchase date at store: June 2009.


        Also there was one more Lakme Product (Lakme Nine-To-Five Defining Lip-liner) I bought on the same day. Its Expiry date was fast approaching/near.

        I mean the product does not show what is its Expiry date. It is not printed any where on the product.
        Usually any cosmetic has to used with in 2 years from the day of manufacturing.

        Batch No. : 1K7

        Purchase date at store: June 2009.



        Incident No. 2: Again it was my forgetfulness to buy LAKME and STREET WEAR products (especially at outlets like HEALTH & GLOW).
        Yesterday (23rd January 2010) I bought a STREET WEAR lip-liner/lip-definer from HEALTH & GLOW at Koramangala, Bangalore.

        Today I half-tored the bill for the product and immediately realised to check the expiry date of the product.
        As suspected the product is an expired one (or near approaching the expiry time). There is no Best before usage date or the instruction when it reaches the Expiry date from the day of its manufacturing.
        It just printed only the manufucturing date and has not mentioned the expiry date on any of the STREET WEAR products.


        I still have that half-tored bill with me. I'm not sure if it may suffice to register any legal complaint against the Health & Glow store or the STREET WEAR Company.

          dear sir/ madam,
          i had a shocking and disturbing experience from lakhme studio, nungambakkam, chennai. i have a gift voucher for certain select services. i am a regular client of lakhme , vijayaraghava road. i got this voucher 2 weeks back which is valid till 31 dec. 2009 only. i am trying to take an appointment since 2 days . but they are refusing , saying its busy till 31 st.its unbeleivable, i would appreciate if this offer period is extended, as i am claiming it only during its validity date.

            I am from Bangkok, recently visited India and bought quite a few thousands of Lakme products from KUNCHALS shop at Lifestyle Mall, near Rajouri Garden MRT station. One of the product I purchased was a 'bronze' jewel eyeliner (the bridal sutra collection) and as it came packaged so I open to see the eyeliner tube. When I got back I opened and saw the word 'TESTER' written on the product I bought. I WAS UPSET. I paid and got a tester instead! I wrote a complaint to the Lakme official website and NO REPLY. I complained to Kunchals where I bought Lakme from and after a long time, I only received an apology and an excuse saying it's Lakme's fault! This unbelievable, delayed and an irresponsible reply.
            I told Kunchals that I bought the product from their shop and if I got a tester from them, they ought to exchange or send me a new one or do something to compensate. They didn't bother to reply anymore. In cases liek this, it's not only bd service which you apologise and flee. This a case of bad product, they have to take it back, I don't know how many peopel have used the tester and it's eye product also.
            I feel like I have been cheated.
            Besides teh bad product, the service I got was not even near 'good'
            At the Kunchals shop, the sales rep kept pulling my hand from me to apply lipstick to present colours. No manners, they at least should ask if a customer woudl like to try and not just grab my hand and paint someting on my wrist. Worse is at the Westside store in Karol Bagh, the sales rep was a guy and kept pulling my hand to apply products on to show me. He should have had some manners , he can't just pull a girl's hand to try products on.
            At Lakme couter of Westside, Karol Bagh - after paying when I went to show my bills and collect the products, they forgot to give me one product, which means I paid for 7 things and they gave me six things. Luckily I checked and told them so the gave me saying they forgot.
            Since I bought a few thousands, I was supposed to get a premiere gift, they didn't give me. They forgit again! I realised later and went back to ask for it.
            I was already upset with their forgettng and when I return home to find that one of the product turned out to be a tester product, I was furious. AND THE WORSE IS THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT! This is pathetic!
            Can someone tell me where can I launch an official complaint to the Lakme customer service dept? Pls give an email or someting. Thanks!

            colorbar — product not delivered

            My order no. Is 2310 and i have not gotten my product which i ordered from colorbarcosmetics.com. The product is already paid for and its been 39 days since the date of order. They are not even responding to my emails. I want my money back or atleast a response so that we can sort out the problem.

              i visited the lakme salon at mohali phase 7,on 2/10/09 at 3 .15 for fruit facial, the facial started at 3.40, and ended at 4.10, the otherwise normal timings for facial is minimum 1 hour but this one ended in just 30 minutes to my surprise.moreover i had opted for fruit facila but the executive diidnt use any fruit product, and when i asked that why the fruits were not used, she replied that it depends upon skin base what to use which is not true as in last 8 years whenever i had got fruit facial, the message was done with fruits only,at the time of booking the facila they had confirmed me that the fruits will be used . also the worst thing was that the executive used a used napkin of a previous client to wipe off my face right from the beginnning of the facila, i saw that napkin on the steam machine when i entered the room and it was dirty as it had scrubber marks left over on it and was kept on the steamer for drying when the facila ended i realized that she had used the same napkin which could be so infectious as my skin is too sensitive
              they had charged me rs 600 for the facial but had given me a normal clean up instead of the facial with lower rated products,the experience was worst and bitter

                I visited Beauty Salon of Lakme at Model Town,Jalandhar to get rebonding of my hairs on 21st September,09.They went ahead with it & took 7 hrs to complete the process.Whem i saw my hairs after rebonding i found that all shine from my hairs have gone & my hairs were looking rough giving impression of burned hairs.When i told this to the manager she told me that it will give perfect look after 2-3 days.When i saw no improvement i called them up but manger of the salon started making excuses & now they are avoiding my phone calls also.It doubt they might have used expired products or they dont have any expert operator to do the rebonding.Plz help me to get my money refunded.

                I had purchased lakme peach milk moisturiser 5 days back, when i was unknown with the scheme that lakme lip gloss is free with every purchase of moisturiser.The shopkeeper did not gave any hint about this.I want to know whether i will get it or not as per the applicability of the scheme.

                This is confirmed that the scheme was applicable at the time of my purchase.

                please confirm asap and provide with my free gift.

                similar thing happnd in my case. I got my hair rebonded at Gurgaon-Galleria salon. The guy called Tasleem took only 3 hrs to finish the process (to which i was surprised as it usually takes a lil longer). A day after he washed my hair wt local products whereas he shld have used schwarkpoff since i paid for tht product. After the wash my hair looked ok. but whn i washed my hair at home using Dove (as advised by him) the hair looked damaged. I consulted some professionals frm other salon to whch they said it has got burnt. Now they r not refunding money or taking calls...

                  I had gone to Lakme Beauty salon at gomtinagar lucknow for getting an anti tan pack treatment on 03.09.2009. One of the attendants named Sushma applied the pack on my face. As soon she had applied the pack my cheeks started to burn and I immediately told her about this that it was burning more than the usual. She said that it is normal. After some time when she removed the pack red coloured blisters appeared on my face and it was burning very badly. She immediately applied ice and told me not to worry and that it will disappear next morning. The next 5 days the blister started to increase despite applying calamine and aloevera as the owner of the salon advised when I showed it to her.When things began to worsen I contacted a dermatologist who gave me doses of steroids anti allergics and several medicated ointments which finally helped me recover back although the scars are still there. So much for making me look beautiful ! What made matters worse for me was that the owner the salon never contacted me to know about my recovery and did not even offer to return the money charged for the anti tan pack which had caused so much agony instead of making me fair !
                  Such salons ( franchisee) do not personally supervise their workers and are just confined to collect money from the customers who come to them because of the brand name of Lakme . They employ inexperienced workers to experiment on innocent customers who come to the salon for an above average treatment as compared to the other local salons.I think Lakme should stop franchising outlets as it will ultimately tarnish its image.

                    I had been to Lakme Beauty Salon on the 31st of August and had a horrifying experience with my hair. They gave me such a uneven cut that I had to go some other salon to atleast look decent.
                    In the bargain, my hair is cut so short that it has gone up to earlength from shoulder length.
                    The stylist was not even ready to listen to me or understand my needs as she hardly understood English.I came out and yelled at the manager who did not even lift her little finger to help me out and said it was done as per my needs.
                    Overall no professionalism and no different from any local salon.

                    I visited the Lakme Beauty Salon on Bellary Road in Sahakarnagar on 29th April 2008 at 1:45 pm to get a hair care treatment called Refresh Indulgence done. At 3:00 pm, after the lady who attended to me had done the treatment she realised that she had my entire chunk of hair entangled so badly that she could not do anything to remove the same. The people at the Salon spent the next 2 hours trying to open up this huge mess which they had done in my hair. Finally I had no other choice but to actually cut my long hair to a very short size. This was as a result of both incompetent personnel as well as chemicals that are below standard which are being used. MY hair which I had groomed over the years had to be destroyed in such a manner that now I am also hindered from going out and meeting people because of the lack of confidence on the same. I still have got the huge ball of hair that was chopped off as a testament to the poor quality of the treatment being metted out. My only fear is to fathom what would have happened if such material and personnel messed up on a facial or other beauty treatments that are to be done on the skin. I would urge strong action to be taken to avoid any further untoward incidents.

                    I am complaining about the service at two Lakme parlors in Hyderabad.

                    Incident One: Banjara Hills
                    I went there at 4 pm on a Sunday for a facial. After the facial was completed, I asked if they would be able to also give me a haircut and they said yes. My hair was shampooed and I was told to wait for five minutes before my hair cut begun. There were several other women in the parlor, chief among whom was a pair of women who had come for wedding makeup and had everybody on their toes. Except one or two attendants who were doing facials, etc, for other customers, all the others were dancing to the tune of these two ladies for over an hour. none of the other customers were getting attended to and the owner of the parlor was running around in circles getting bullied by these two women. In the meantime more customers were coming in and the owner was giving them the "five minute" assurance as well.

                    So anyways, I sat with my wet hair in a towel, waiting for my hair cut for more than 30 minutes. Then I spoke sternly to the owner asking why she was putting all her effort to attending to just two customers while all o[censored]s others were kept awaiting. I also informed her that I have asthma and that the combination of the wet hair along with the air conditioning was already causing me some wheezing and breathing problems. It was only then that my hair was cut- horribly, if I may say so. When I tried to pay with my card I was informed that the card machine was not working, and when climbing down the steep steps I rolled down and fell because there was no light on the tiny landing in front of the parlor.

                    Incident Two: Begumpet
                    When the new Lakme parlor opened at Begumpet, I was hopeful that it would be better than the one on Banjara Hills. Accordingly I booked myself for a facial appointment for a weekend. I also took along with me a coupon that had appeared in the Hindu newspaper advertising a 15% discount at select Lakme parlors in Hyderabad if you took the coupon along. Imagine my surprise, therefore, when at the end of my facial I go to pay with the coupon only to be told, "that discount is not for weekends, madam, we only provide it during weekdays."

                    I was frustrated with the service of these two parlors and searched the internet for an e-mail id or phone number where I could lodge a complaint. I found an e-mail address right at the bottom of this page: http://www.lakmeindia.com/salon_finder/salon_services.asp

                    well i have also complain tht is lakme salon kukatpally, hyderabad..
                    Owner of tht franchisee is very shrewed n nt agrreing to any complaints of customers. 1st time i went n did peppermint facial n hair touch up.ths is my 1st visit as jst shifted to hyderabad. trusting name if lakme i went blindly. i told him wht is my original hair color shade wth numbers n they did touch up wth different shade n thts also nt fully grey coverage. moreover i told them that my skin is sensitive so take care n they assured me n convinced me to go for peppermint facial.in evening i got reaction on my face. my cheeks got swelled n rashes on them. got tender n painful. morning it got ok. since i am new to this place n don't know any area i am depndent on my husband to go. so after a week i went there to show tht hair color n not full grey coverage. Staff was nice n tht gal who did admitted her mistake n asked me to caome again. since my husband gets off on weekends only i told them n they got agrreed to come at thah time. when i went again next weekend the staff who did asked me to wait. meanwhile owner of franchisee came n asked wht i want to do. i jst complained about my hir color n she was nt agreeing wth it keep on arguing tht u came after 2 weeks so grey hair will come. thn i told about wrong color applying tht she didnt take much seriously. then when i told about facial she started arguing that ot is impossible tht facial can not create any reaction n i am wromg.. is tht ur fanchisee people are??? people come blindly on your name and is this service. That staff gal said there some problem in hair color to her madam n she said tht to do this time, but nexttime dnt take anyone if nt coming next day. we are busy people and ready to throw money to save our time and good quality. ur salon guys do mistakes n to correct them we have to come at our leisures???? i wanted to launch a complain that time only but staff was good so i didnt do. but after owner's attitude i felt to sue her at that time only. now what action will u take regarding this????

                    I HAVE A COMLPAINT AGAINST U.LAST WEEK I VISITED UR LAKME BEAUTY SALON IN NORTH DELHI PITAM PURA..
                    THEIR IS REALLY UNTIEDY STAFF AND SALON..UR STAFF IS NT PRESENTABLE.IT SHOULD BE HYGENIC AND THEIR SHOULD BE GUD LOOKING STUFF(ITS VERY-VERY NECESSARY) .

                    Lakme is very popular for its quality. I use Lakme products always. I started visisting Lakme beauty parlour since past few months. I found the following problems:

                    1) Some of the franchisees of Lakme are not very professional compare to Lakme (Main).

                    2) We are working women and our office closes by 6 pm. We require min 1 hour to visit any parlours. I had taken an appointment at Lakme beauty parlour, Jayanagar, at 6:50 pm. I reached 5 min. late but I asked my mother to be present till I come. The staff there at Jayanagar Lakme Parlour were rushing to go home. No welcome or not even a mild smile when I entered. Instead they were upset as I reached at 6:55. They were not ready to do eyebrows for me. No body was interested to do any work after 7:00 pm. With great difficulty, one girl agreed and did eyebrows for me. I think this is not the right attitude of attending customers. My strong suggestion is that the timings must be increased atleast till 8 pm.

                    3) But I appreciate the Lakme parlour at Residency Road. They welcome us with smile and cares with great attention and give us a greater look. Keep it up.

                    yes i totally agree...i'm from b'lore and i too visited lakme parlour in j.p.nagar 2nd phase here at b'lore...and had them for a hair cut & the hair cut was a big disaster for me...as i looked like a mad run away from mental hospital after the haircut...& i am still trying to get over it...i pity the people who spend so much money and get the disasterous effect...!!!
                    The Lakme parlour on Burdwan Road, Kolkata rips people off by not giving correct information or by not advising customers about charges. They suggest additional treatment without informing the customer about the product brand being used or the extra cost involved. I went for root touch-up but was advised to do a little more, with no information about the charges. Since the root touch up is Rs 600/- I presumed this could not be more than Rs. 1000/- but I was presented with a bill for Rs. 1800/- !!! So Lakme has ensured that I will never go back to them.

                    There were three customers this morning who were unsatisfied by the service.
                    They also always overcharge, like if I say I want a hair cut, they do and when they bill me they always charge extra saying they also did this that bcos my hair was like this, etc.LAKME, stop all the nonsense and pls earn money in a meaningful way and needless to say they are all very rude!PLS BAN LAKME BEAUTY SALONs, they are not special in any way and there are 100s of salons which are decent and do a good job too, not just the big branded ones!Price is also very high, three times than the normal ones.Usually I go for a haircut only after having headbath on that day but since I use only herbal powders they say they need to shampoo or else they cant do it properly, utterly rubbish speech, they always find ways to overcharge u!PLS BAN THIS SALON!
                    The matter reached the Karnataka State Commission in appeal where the matter is settled. Mrs.Fadhya Asif has withdrawn the original complaint along with all her allegations against Lakme.. The State Commission has accepted the settlement and disposed the appeal by the order dated 15:7:2009.                     MEMORANDUM OF COMPROMISE UNDER ORDER XXIII RULE 1, SECTION 151 OF THE CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE READ WITH SECTION 15 OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 1986


                    1. The appellants have filed the above named this First Appeal against the order dated 16:12:2008 passed in Complaint No. 1289/2008 on the file of the III Additional Bangalore Urban District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Bangalore. The statement of facts in brief and the grounds in support of the appeal stated in the memorandum of appeal my kindly be read as part of this compromise memorandum.

                    2. This Hon’ble Authority admitted the appeal and stayed the order under challenge. The matter was heard on two occasions. In the meanwhile, the parties to the appeal have reached a settlement of all the issues and arrived at the following consensus.

                    I. The respondent prays leave of this Hon’ble Authority to withdraw the Consumer Complaint 1289/2008 filed by her before the III Additional Bangalore Urban District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Bangalore.

                    II. Without prejudice to their contentions, the appellant hereby pays a sum of Rs. 60, 000/- (rupees sixty thousand only) to the respondent as one-time non-committal gesticulation.

                    II. The respondent hereby withdraws all the allegations made by her against the appellants in the Consumer Complaint 1289/2008; the affidavit of evidence & other documents filed by her before the III Additional Bangalore Urban District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Bangalore.

                    III. Similarly, the appellants hereby withdraw all the allegations made by them against the respondent in the Consumer Complaint 1289/2008; the affidavit of evidence before the III Additional Bangalore Urban District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Bangalore & also in the present appeal.

                    IV. Both the appellants and the respondents hereby declare that they have no issues or disputes between them & hereby close the entire subject matter of the Consumer Complaint 1289/2008 and the present appeal everlastingly.

                    V. The appellants and the respondent pray that this Hon’ble Authority to dispose the present appeal in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties as indicated in clause I to IV above. Consequently, the parties pray that this Hon’ble Authority be pleased to set aside the order dated 16:12:2008 passed in Complaint No. 1289/2008 on the file of the III Additional Bangalore Urban District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Bangalore, in the interest of justice & equity.

                    This company promises to educate(software skills) and give placements,but neither is providing good knowledge about the subject matter nor providing any interview oppurtunities.In the name of providing best training and projects taking huge amount and just conducting fake interviews.some action must be taken regarding this company,also it does not have any experienced trainer.Is just misguiding the aspirants.
                    Iam surprised, as the Lakme Salon at Sahakarnagar is a great place to be in. The staff there are very polite, cordial and hospitable. I've been their client for the last 2 yrs and i've never had a chance for any complaints.. This is an effort by the competitor to defame the salon and nothing else..

                    BEAUTY ON THE ROAD — client injury

                    This company came to my house to give spa services for a group of friends. During the pedicures each woman received pain. One woman acutally bled from cutting the toenail too short. It was a very unprofessional service and when feedback was given a few days later to the owner about her worker she called me a liar. The massage was ok for most but one girl was in pain from the pressure for 3 days afterwards. She was very unprofessional in handling it.

                    Lakme Fundamentals — poor/irritating packing

                    the packing bottle of lakme fundamentals peach milk moisturizer is very poor , excessive amount of liquid comes out when use just because of bottle design , i think this is the strategy of the manufacture so that more wastage more sale
                    I visited lakme salon on bannerghatta road the front office manager by name ROOPA THARA is so unproffessional she hardly smile or greets the customer, she is very rude to her own staff or other beauticians and operators there then how can she be good with us she goes on talking with them in local language where as i am from north India.finally when my bill came around Rs 5000/she did not gave me the service bill.WHAT KIND OF SERVICE ARE THEY OFFERING.it is a serious matter some action has to be taken.

                    Hi, My name is Nancy and I totally agree with the complaints made in the above column. Lakme being such a big name claiming to provide quality service to the customers should really look into the training of their staff, their state is really disgusting. I went to the Jubilee hills branch opposite to Latitudes, I had already taken an appointment since I am a working lady but when I reached there after waiting for some time a staff member attended but she disappeared in some time without cutting my hair and I kept waiting like a fool. The lady who was supposed to cut my hair was attending a bridal makeup and nobody paid any heed to me irrespective of taking an appointment. I walked out telling the receptionist that their service is pathetic to which the receptionist was indifferent. Atleast I will not advice anyone to go to Lakme now. If Lakme is going to be the last option on earth il think twice. Really pathetic and shameful.
                    Hi..I also got my hair rebonded from a Lakme salon in mumba-sion east and i am really disappointed with the results.
                    First of all, my hair has started falling excessivley after the treatment and they are not even straight. They look lifeless now.
                    When i made a complaint about it, the manager told me that this is normal things and they are not "MAGICIANS" that they can straighten the hair...Damnn these people...they call themselves the hair experts and then after messing up the hair they just give all kinds of illogical excuses. I am going to make to file a case against them in consumer court.
                    I've been visiting Lakme parlours in bellandur, and HSR. the staff is extremely polite and friendly in both the parlours. Those of you complaining about failed rebonding treatment should understand that rebonding chemicals are very strong and may not suit your hair. Straight therapy is a very good option. I got straight therapy from Lakme twice, and I'm very happy with the results.

                    I think customers should have good knowledge about the services they request, and should not blindly complain.
                    I visited the lakme salon at Chennai, Besant nagar.People at the front desk are very unprofessional and irresponsible.They dont know how to treat their customers properly.They should respect their customers and need to be polite and gentle.
                    Miss Harinigoteti - It is hair expert's job to guide customers on the service which suits them. A customer may not know whats good for their hair. And even if customer have good knowledge, they cannot make out of the treatment is being done properly or not. In my case, the chemical was left my hair fo ra longer duration. Are customers supposed to tell HAIR EXPERTS when to wash it? ? It is haor experts job else they have no right to call them HAIR EXPERTS.
                    I agree with these complaints. The services offered by Lakme are not carried out properly. They have completely destoyed my hair after rebonding. I suffered a massive hair loss and my hair has become lifeless.

                    I repent going to LAKME even after reading the negative customer feedback.
                    I'm just visiting Hyderabad and each time the multitude of so called hair salons (who cannot cut or even blow dry hair properly) amazes me...yet...the price..that's even more than some salons outside India.

                    (parlour as known in India!) and they said try a facial, so I asked what kind they brought out a list convenienienty opening ot on the most expensive page -page 3..you know what I chose the 2nd least expensive facial..they were telling me go for xyz Gold, lakme god knows, I chose the most simple one ..and you know what my skin glowed afterwards! All one needs is simple cleansing and relaxtion for a facial...not expensive creams lathered on (we can do that at home!)

                    I have always loved Lakme products and only visit Lakme salons and so far have had only good experiences but recently I visited the one at Dollars colony, Bangalore and it sucks. Its a new one opened and totally lets down the name of Lakme. The staff is inexperienced, hurt you a lot during any service provided and are pretty much high school dropouts who like to point out every flaw in you.Madame you are so dark, please trying our new xyz service, it will make you white. Well, take a hike, I like the way I look.Also they are like unsolicited sales men who keep trying to sell you more and more packages and just cant shut up !

                    The head of all of them, Rekha or something is another . Talks to everyone in such a patronising manner- no sense of customer service, just a bunch of swindlers. Keep you mouths sht and do what I ask you to.Haircuts are bad, facials cause you allergies, they are not hygenic, its a big let down

                    Hi, On last sunday, I had my waxing services done from the Lakme, bellandur, Bangalore branch. I must say, that the products used must have been really really SUBSTANDARD, because it left me wid about 20 boils on each of my legs. They were painful white pus filled boils and made my legs look disgusting! After this experience, I decided to call up that branch and tell them what had happened. Leave aside being apologetic, they were least concerned. I was told that I would get a call back from them in about ten minutes; they did not even bother doing that. I was sharing this experience with a friend of mine. She told me that even she had been burnt during waxing over there. Neither me nor any of my friends is ever going back there again. The staff is least concerned about their customers, and their services do not live upto the name of the brand.

                    Hi, I visited Lakme salon in Nagpur for Face Facial (instant glow) for my marriage. Lakme is just a name but inside the parlour don't know proper facial. They charge money high for facial but not take proper treatment. They didn't do ultrasonic m/c on face within a half hour she completed facial. I heard from other Lakme salon that ultrasonic is must if you charging 1, 400 rs for facial. In any facial ultrasonic m/c used.
                    At least every lakme owner have to check that client service going proper or not. Owner has to provide Feedback form for every customer before leaving Lakme Salon.
                    Feedback Form will help that customer going from Lakme Salon Happy or not. And after submit the feedback form owner has to check with proper action.

                    My experience with Lakme is good. I am their costumer since 2009. Initially I was going to the HSR layout Lakme studio. They were always on time, customer care was too good, they were professionals and I completely enjoyed going there. Now, I visit the Lakme parlour in electronic city and again I am satisfied with their service. I am choosy about the hair dresser and the beautician too and I am so lucky that I have got the best of both. Meena is very friendly and suggest good service and facial treatments. She is in the industry for many years and highly experienced too. Satish is one of the fastest and able hair dresser. He knows his job too well and serves the customers according to their needs. He has wide knowledge about all the hair products and suggest the good one for his customers. Almost all the staffs here in electronic city are very polite and humble.
                    Yes, bad times do come up and it is how we take it. I am a positive person and I always look things in a positive way. So far, I have enjoyed their service and hope to continue visiting them.

                    Salons are supposed to be de stressing and making one feel better. But the Lakme salon I visited last week fell way short of this. I had to pop in an Aspirin when I got back from the session.
                    Worse still the lady who attended to me confused me and eventually I took the treatment I had decided on, which I now regret too.
                    There was everything wrong with my hair ( so she listed) and all of it could be set right with Lakme Magic.
                    The constant chatter most irritating and her sales pitch jarring to say the least.

                    I will not delve into the hair treatment itself since I had opted for it after searching on the net. But please don't make the same mistake of stepping into this parlour in Kolkata on Lansdowne road !! If you are a discerning and well informed individual .
                    i visited lakme salon on 30 dec for facial but it was not at all satisfactory.the worse part is me being there regular customer they took me for granted.At a time three facials were being attended charges were same but service was bad

                    Lakme claims that its cystine treatement is harmless. But i did the hair cystine treatment one year back and i was told that my hair will become smooth and frizz free. I had very long and beautiful hair. The differnce that it made to my hair was very less but i started falling a lot and i regularly feel lot of burning sensation and itchiness in my scalp and my hair have been lost 50%.

                    I had been to Lakme Salon at Kondapur Hyderabad, for hair touchup on hair bonding. They charged for touchup 6000+ tax amount and two staff members - new to the salon completed the task by burning the scalp and hair. I was not given the bill stating that its too late and she will provide later.. after coming home, i saw a lot of hair fall and they had burned the roots.
                    I went to them to search for an explanation as I had done straightening for many times in Chennai and never faced such issues. They accepted that it is their fault but I have to take an appointment for treatment for which they are busy. More Horrible is that the lady owner of this franchise blasted that we will see and then treat.. hopeless unprofessional people - only know to loot money and use duplicate products... I found that two other ladies had the same problem of hair damage, an old employee told us that they use duplicate products ... please stop such centers... I have all evidence of this case and will not leave these culprits. I have attached their registration certificate,
                    I had 1000 loyalty points in my account, and m also a regular customer in lakme prahladnagar, ahmedabad.wen i took a facial service wortj 3500/- they said i have got loyalty points which i cud use within 15 months, but its been only 12 months and they r saying that its validity is over.also in between this period many times it happened that 1 person wud say something else regarding that and other person wud say smthing else...so i got so confused...and now later on all my loyalty points got wasted, also they never send u any message or alert or email on my registered number regarding any such this.i will never visit lakme again, u lost a good customer.

                    The Lakme salon located at Bellandur, Bangalore is the most unethical of all, below are their recent google ratings, please read the responses from the manager threatening to file a cyber crime complaint for telling them how cheap their services are, there is this lady by name Anita who is the worst among all the beauticians from this Lakme Bellandur Salon, she fooled me with the billing and charged me extravagantly, in addition she burn my skin with wax and was least bothered to apologize, even last time I had a very bad experience here, after complaining to the manager about Anita I started getting harassing calls to take the complaint back.

                      I Opted for the pre-bridal treatment and makeup for my engagement. I paid nearly 7500 Rs

                      In my pre-bridal Treatment, waxing was highly pathetic, Entire hair were not removed and it was such a painful exercise and results highly poor.

                      On my Engagement day, Inspite of telling her i need a light make-up she did a over make-up.. I's looking over aged and it was clearly visible tht the make -up is pathetic.. making my day worst

                        Hi,

                        I am a regular customer at Lakme beauty salon, Gujrawala town, New Delhi. Recently the salon has introduced discount coupons book (book of beauty). When the salon manager handed the book to me the first time (and she chanrged 100 bucks for it), she did not inform me that the discount coupon is not valid on weekends. In fact, she provided me discount on Saturday the first time.

                        So, when I tried to avail the discount on another Saturday, the manager bluntly refused saying the discount is not valid on saturday.

                        My Question is: If the discount is not valid on Saturday, why was I given a discount on Saturday the first time when I was handed over the dicsount book? This is a clear case of keeping your customers in dark and then chaeting on them.

                          1) LAKME LIPSTICK AQUA SHINE LIP COLOUR BATCH NO-STAMPED BLIND AND
                          2) LAKME 9 TO 5 LIPCOLOUR SHADE-42 SALIN RUBY COSTING 375 RS EACH
                          FROM THE GREAT INDIA PLACE, NOIDA FROM THE SHOPPERS STOP OUTLET

                          I very recently bought the same color no. 42 (satin ruby) of the nine to five range of lakme lipsticks. I rate it EXCELLENT in terms of texture and lasting. I am an office going lady, and I am very happy that I bought this particular lipstick. It stays really really long...for 6-7 hrs. As for other lipsticks I have used till date of other brands, I would have to reapply to keep me looking fresh.

                            This complaint is particularly for the franchise operated at Brookfields, Bangalore for Lakme Salon. I had gone for hair coloring two weeks back. When the staff applied the color, I could feel uncomfortable as I could feel a burning sensation on my scalp. I reported the same to the staff, but she informed me that it usually happens. During the 45 minute, period, I gulped down few glasses of water and juice as I felt slightly dehydrated. By the end of 45 minute, I requested the staff to just wash off the color. I requested them not to dry my hair using a hair dryer and just came home.

                            At home, I noticed that hair color wash was not done properly. My ear was completely blocked with the sticky hair color. I had to use around two packs of johnson buds to clean my ears. Since then, am having a burning sensation on my scalp. I feel uncomfortable when I got out in sun, since it gets worse.

                            I reported to the owner of the salon, but was shocked on her unprofessionalism. Insteading of assuring me to come immediately, so that they can look into the problem; instead she told to come a day after as she was busy with meetings, etc. And that too, she gave me an odd timing. I informed her, that I donot have any issues with the salon. The only thing I want is the chemical compostion details of the hair color. Which she was not ready to provide, and instead asked me to come and visit the salon, so that they can suggest some treatment. I had been to the salon two times, but for the first time, she refused to meet me though she was present in the salon. Instead asked me to wait for an hour, which she knew I could not as I had babies. Second time, I went to meet her at the specified time given by her, but she didnot made to the salon. The receptionist tried to contact her for an hour, but she was not available.
                            She had not even tried to contact me.
                            I had gone to dermatologist and is currently undergoing treatment of my scalp.
                            Here, its not a mistake of Lakme Salon, but the onwer of franchise and the inexperienced staff member.
                            Let me know how this complaint will be attended to and what are the actions that comply to the franchise.

                            I had pruchased a 8 to 5 eye liner and a lips stick alongwith a compac creme for my wife on the 13th of March, 2010 from Hypercity Mall at In Orbit Mall Vashi.

                            To my surprise the Eyeliner as well as the Lips stick does not bear any MRP on the package as well as the Box.

                            I want to take this up with lakme and as well as with hypercity as to why they should not be fined for not printing the MRP as per law.

                              but the new product by your company 511e lipstic 9-5, orchids 535 was purchased by me on 21/4/2009.
                              the product was purchased from JAINSONS WESTEND ajmal khan road karol bagh, new delhi.
                              coming bak home when i used the lipstic it created sevear itching on my lips, the manufacturing date was 2 year old .
                              im very disappointed with this product n demand the company 2 give me a new product or money back .
                              i hoper u to take an action aginst the problem as soon as possible .

                                This is to inform you that we had purchased two lipsticks-Lakme Lipsticks 455 classics blackberry, 125 metallics from Goels Stores, Vivek Vihar, B Block market, Delhi.When lipstiks are applied it causes bitterness in the mouth, only these two lipsticks are bitter.Moreover the market storekeeeper is not exchanging or replacing the lipsticks kindly do necessary for the above.

                                  Original price of Lakhme peach milk moisturizer is RS 99 & in winter now they are selling it at RS 115 with a offer of small 45gm Pears free which costs RS 12. What a way to sell products & make fool of consumers.

                                    I have purchased one Lakme muskara from Kalwa Gift Stationery, Kalwa. When I broken seal of that muskara I found that muskara was totally dry. I enquired about this to shop keeper he refused to take my complaints. First time I use Lakme product and I am disappointed about your product.

                                    I PURCHASED A LAKME FLAWLESS CREME COMPACT CORAL OF RS.356/- FROM MANI RAM BALWANT RAI FROM LUDHIANAON 16/09/2009. WHAT WHEN I CHECKED THE PAKED DATE ON PRODUCT IT WAS MARCH 2008AND ALSO WRITTEN ON THIS PRODUCT BEST USE BEFORE 18 MONTS FROM THE DATE OF PACKING. SO IT MEANS 18 MONTHS COMPLETE IN AUGUST 2009.

                                      Respected Sir/Madam,

                                      This is to bring to your kind notice that, I, Natasha Kohli took combined pre-bridal and bridal package, costing worth rs 7600 from Lakme Saloon branch in phase-7, Mohali, recently. I took prebridal part of package, {costing rs 3600}2 days back from there.But to my utter dismay that service didn’t turned out to be up to the mark.I’m highly unsatisfied and the level of services provided to me were far below my expectations. It lacked the professional touch, for which the LAKME brand is appreciated among the clientele.
                                      I escalated my concerns to the co-ordinator of mohali branch but nothing fruitful was suggested/worked out by them. However now I’m not willing to opt for their bridal package {costing rs 4000 } .I just want refund of this rs 4000 as soon as possible from your side.
                                      I have faced a lot of harassment and now I do not wish to go for your services. I want immediate action on my highlighted concern, otherwise i would not be reluctant to approach consumer-court for my claim.Hope you take this matter seriously and on priority basis and do the needful urgently.

                                      Eye liner- Causing eye irritation and also foul smell.. Being a regular customer for Lakme products, this is unacceptable and worst side of lakme products.

                                        I WENT TO LAKME SALOON, RAJOURI GARDEN, MAIN MARKET FOR A HAIR COLOR. THE ATTENDANT NAMED RITU CONFIRMED THE COLOR FOR GLOBAL AND STREAKS. SHE TOOK 3 TO 4 HOURS AND THE RESULT WAS SHOCKING. SHE LEFT THE COLOR APPLIED FOR 3 HOURS FOR THE FRONT HAIRS AND 45 MIN FROM THE BACKTHE COLOR FROM THE FRONT WAS TOO LIGHT AND THE STREAKING SHE DID TURNED TO BE THE GLOBAL COLOR, FROM THE BACK IT WAS OK. SHE APPLIED COLOR ON THE SCALP WHICH IS NOT SUPPOSED TO EVEN AFTER I REMINDED HER FOR THE SAME. I SHED Rs 5800 FOR THE SAME THATS BEEN A TOTAL WASTE AS I HAVE TO THE SAME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. AFTERWARDS WHEN I APPROCHED THEM THAT THIS IS TOO LIGHT FROM THE SHADE I SELECTED AND THE WAY IT IS APPEARING, THE OWNER OF THAT FRANCHISEE SCREAMED ON US AND WAS NOT AT ALL READY TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY AND TOLD US WE CANT DO ANYTHING AS IT WILL NOT BE PROFITABLE FOR US. IT IS SO DIFFICULT TO CARRY THIS COLOR, I AM NOT WILLING TO MOVE OUT OR TO MEET UP PEOPLE AS EVERYBODY FIRST IMPRESSION IS WAT HAD U DONE TO YOPUR HAIRS. LAKME GOOD REPUTATION IS FADING AWAY LIKE THIS AS EVERYBODY I CONSULTED HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WITH LAKME. I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBE FOR SPOLING OUT MY HAIR.
