LIC sent to me policy discharge latter for advance Receipt signature for Rs.357600 . and submitt this latter with bond n signature on date[protected] then LIC sent to me A cheque (No.346733) for Rs.350000. ie Rs.7600/= short. then i went to LIC Office on Manday[protected] , the manager on leave , I consult dealing babu he told to me "Main kha gaya kya" ?? " Jo Banta hai Wo cheque banakar de diya " I said to him that your's discharge latter Rs.357600 and my reciept on this latter same amount . then he told to me "manager jane tum jano"
So requested to you that diffrance amount of the maturiti value Rs.7600/= pay to me by LIC Office

The government is battling crisis on several fronts, a sputtering economy, soaring crude oil prices and inflation amongst others. One of the biggest concerns is the spiraling fiscal deficit. The central government has found it tough to rein in the deficit given the high spending on fuel subsidies and social welfare programmes, coupled with heavy borrowing and low collection through taxes. Though the government believed that its disinvestment programme would help tide over the cash crunch to an extent, the plan has not panned out as per expectations.

In order to get the fiscal situation under control, the government is using Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and other public sector undertakings (PSUs) to fill its cash kitty. LIC of India has come to the Government's rescue repeatedly in the recent past. It bought shares in state-owned banks in 2009. In 2010, it bought the government's stake in a mining firm. This time, it is injecting a billion dollars into some state banks. It has also bought out part of the government's stake in an oil firm. It held 4% stake in 34 PSUs in December 2008. This increased to 5.6% stake in 42 PSUs at the end of 2011.

LIC's role was highlighted in the recent ONGC episode. The insurance company invested more than Rs 150 bn in ONGC this quarter, which includes the shares divested by the Government recently. It is also planning to infuse Rs 78 bn into public sector banks in the coming months. The insurance giant is however not showing a similar preference for private sector companies. Its stake in private companies has more or less remained the same.

In the middle of all the drama, perhaps the biggest losers from the government's arm-twisting of LIC are the policyholders of LIC's insurance contract. They might have lost 25% of the value of their investments so far in government-owned businesses. LIC is also facing flak from both the insurance regulator (IRDA) and market watchers for its investment policies. It is interesting to note that LIC has invested more than Rs 80 bn in various public sector banks at a time when these banks are struggling with a host of issues ranging from slowing credit growth and the rising threat of non-performing assets.

Thus, if the government continues with its policies of raising cash at the expense of PSUs and LIC, investors will simply stay away from these stocks. While the government owned companies may be in great businesses and enjoy dominance, it is not working in the best interest of minority shareholders and policy holders. One wonders how long will such wealth destroying strategies last.

Dear Sir,



I have availed home loan from your branch with Loan account No:[protected]File No:[protected]. From past three months I am facing problem with ECS. I have given the ECS mandate form from Citibank, Pune (My Salary Account).

ECS did not get debited in month of February (1st EMI), I have enquired with bank and they said that they did not receive any ECS request from LICHFL. I then enquired in LICHFL office here at Pune and they showed me that MICR code number was entered wrongly by LICHFL official in your records and they also told me that the Utility code given by LICHFL agent (Ravi) was incorrect.



I again went to Citibank and got the ECS mandate form again and I have submitted personally on 31st March 2012 in Vanasthalipuram office and Mr. Viswanath told me that ECS facility will not be possible for month of March. At that point of time I have given cheque for March.



And for month of April till now I did not receive the ECS and when I enquired today with Mr. Viswanath to check my account, I found that the MICR code that was wrongly entered before was not changed and that was the reason it did not get debited.

Because of the mistake from LICHFL officials (may be from your branch or Main branch), I feel deep mental agony and since I do not stay in Hyderabad, My father had to take leave and visit your office again and again. I request you to kindly look in to this immediately so that the same will not be repeated next month.

I take one ( LIC ) policy money plus policy ( number [protected] 200000 rupee in February 8- 2007 for five year, as per our agreement I paid 40 thousand rupee per each year. in July 2011 I complete total 200 thousand. Now from 2112 February ( LIC INDIA ) c should return me 80 thousand per year up to five year. But today i get surprice news by my agent that company ( LIC ) will returned you only 190 thousand only . Less 210 thousand. so please advise me how can i file the complaint against ( LIC ) and agent both . i never think company like( LIC ) can do also citing like that . So please advise me what to do. My file no. is [protected] dtd12.3.12 My loan has been sanctioned and completed all the required documents. on 26.04.2012, replied by LICHFL agent, the cheque will issued in April 2012 due to march ending. and on 03.04.2012, agent replied cheque will come on 07.04.2012 or may be on 9.04.2012. on date 04.04.12, agent asking the Bank-statement for verification by external authority. i have submitted on the same day, and agent confirmed that cheque will be coming on 9.04.12 or 10.04.12, but till date cheque not come. Nobody knows where is the cheque and status of the cheque. Agent saying it will come on 10.04.12 or 11.04.12.
my question is LICHF dept should know the status of the cheque dispatch details. otherwise the concern person should resign from his job.

I am a policy holder with salary saving pol. no.[protected].This policy is in operation since 1992 .Premium amount regularly deducted from my salary by the Accounting unit of MPSEB/MPPGCL and remitted to concerned LIC Branch. The LIC Branch accounted far it /deposited against above mentioned LIC policy . But the amount remitted by the Sr. Accounts Officer Sarni for the period from Oct.2010 to Nov.2011 to the LIC Office PATHAKHEDA Branch have not deposited against my said policy .Due to this action of LIC Branch PATHAKHEDA further premium could not be deposited and some amount of late fee to be imposed by the LIC, for this late fee LIC Branch PATHAKHEDA should pay .
IT IS THEREFORE requested that please direct LIC Branch PATHAKHEDA to deposit all pending premium along with penalty and transfer this policy to the LIC Branch Ujjain.

I had served LIC HFL for 7 complete years and was relieved on 31st July 1999. I was issued a PF statement on 15th May 1999 which shows a balance of nearly INR 50K then. My office code was 1210 and Salary Roll was 048005 as per the statement. Inspite of repeated requests and follow-ups there is no response from the management in paying back my money. 13 years have successfully been completed since I am relieved from the company.

I requested the RTI to help me trace the balance of amount in my account. They replied that PF Trust at LIC Western Zone should help/answer my query and that they can help trace only EPF details.

I am helpless now to get the money and unable to know the proper approach for getting back my money.

What type of help will I get from Consumers Forum at this stage?

Pl help me in this regard. 13 years is a very long time to have passed.
