Dear Sirs,

I am holder of LIC policy No.[protected] with their branch at High Court Squre, CAB, Chandini Chowk , Cuttack, Orissa. I am for the past 18 Years residing in Dar es salaam, Tanzania. I have been reporting to them for the past 5 Years that they have not returned my original policy documents which I had sent them for releasing installment of this money back policy.
Further I have been sending them registered letter and E mails and communicating on telephone calls to Branch Manager Mr. T.K. Prushti ( [protected] / 9758 ) to release my payment as the same should have been released during August 2010. But this has no affect. I have even asked them to send me the documents for this purpose but they are not sending and unnecesserily delaying or not cooperating.
Request you to kindly look into this matter.

Life Insurance Corporation of India — non payment of the LIC policy on maturity

I have had requested to LIC br.2 at Muzaffarpur (Bihar state) on15/9/2008 to trasfer 2 lic docket of policy no[protected] for 25000/= and policy no[protected] for Rs.200000/= both under salary saving scheme to LIC nagar sakha 4 varanasi UP as I have been transferred to varanasi on 14/7/2008.after many reminders they trasferrd one policy only and policy no[protected] isnot yet transferred,but it has matured on 28/2/2010.I have not received the payment so far.
I must get the payment alongwith overdue interest at 24% p.a.or at the rate they are charging on the late payment.

Please take up the matter urgently.

LIC is not customer friendly organisation.You will find always lots of problem once you take up the policy from them.Their work culture is very orthodox and very much non compromising nature.You will comr across number of old rules and system which may not be prevalent in any organisation

Life Insurance Corporation of India — non payment of maturity pension

i avail a lic jivan dhara policy no[protected] on 31.03.1994. in salary savings scheame.how ever in aug 1997 i have to take volintere retairement from my service and come back to my native place in kolkata.and before leaving mumbai i paid the necessary amount for transfer the above policy to kolkata.and the authority confirm to do the necessary transfer of my policy.but till date they could not sucess. and the policy mature on last 01.04.2007. so please help me to getting my money .

    I have purchased a Policy( Salary Savings), having Policy No.[protected] dtd.28.07.2003. As per the Policy I am supposed to get my Money Back after 5 years i.e. due on 27.07.2008. But till date I have not received any amount from your Corporation.The matter was discussed with the respective agent on several time but the agent did not help me out and giving me fase information regarding my Money Back. Since the matter is already lapsed for more than two years and hence I need your kind intervention in this regard.The said policy address as mentioned has changed now ( no documents received in previous address) and therefore any documents if send from your end may please be sent in my new address as mentioned below.

    In view of this I request your goodself to send my due amount with interest in my new address.

      I having LIC of india policy- Money Bag Policy No.[protected] dated[protected]
      LIC office send the Money back cheque of Rs. 10000 /- in August-2010 through speed post but the chq was bounced due to my fault( CH 064846 DT 28.09.2010 ON AXIS BANK) and ultimetly the chq was lost from my bank.

      I have submitted a written complaint in your office on 06.11.2010with my bank letter that the chq was lost by bank on LOST IN TRANSIT and try to contact them by phone, but still there is no respnce from their side.

      please help me to get my amount.

        Respected sir, my husband taken a lic policy (New BIMA GOLD, no.[protected] , amount Rs.1,00,000 / -) in the month of 27.05.2008 but after one year two months i.e on 15.07.2009 my husband expired due to illness ( lever problem )
        we have submitted all necessary documents and we have claimed the policy but we have not been sanction the police amount.

            A Cheque No. 418376 dated 28.10.10 amounting to Rs. 28260/- issued from LIC India, branch Gumti No. 5, Kanpur (A/c No. - [protected]) in my name was returned by the bank because of following reasons -

            1. Firstly, the Cheque returned by the Bank of Baroda, Saharanpur stating that the signature of the drawee differs on 13.11.2010. After pursuing the matter personally it got resolved.
            2. After that, the clearing staff suggested to deposit the cheque in the bank again.
            3. On depositing the cheque in the bank the second time on 01.12.2010, the cheque was again returned on 02.12.10 by the bank mentioning that the funds are insufficient in the LIC Account ( A/c No. [protected] of LIC in Bank of Baroda, Gumti No. 5, Kanpur )
            4. Till date the cheque is still with me without any disposal.
            5. Kindly suggest a solution. Such an irresponsible act is not expected of a Premier Institution of Govt. of India.

                  I have submitted my application requesting for refund of Levy charges paid (Prepayment Charges) on 01.11.2010. I have understood that they have received the directive from their Head Office on 30.10.2010, that the Levy charges towards prepayment of Housing loan can be waived off, if the amount is paid from the own resources of Income by the person who has availed the housing loan. I have setteled my housing loan including the levy charges (prepayment charges). Concerned Manager/AGM have asked me to submit the application for refund of Levy charges with the proof (Bank statement) that I have made the payment from my own resorces of income.
                  Accordingly I have submitted the application on 01.11.2010.
                  I have sent E_Mail reminders. Tilltoday I have not received the payment.

                    LIC has repudiated the death claim on the life of my father of sum assured valued rupees five lakh. My father has deposited almost rupees four lakh towards premium to LIC. The concerned agent named Prabir Kr Dey misguided us and we suffered huge loss of money.                         This is predominant problem with LICHFL. Incidentally, I also have availed housing loan in Jun 2009 from Asaf Ali Road branch of LICHFL, and have been a victim of same demeanor of LICHFL.

                        During the time I availed the loan back in June 2009, a number of advertisements were run on the national newspapers, etc. by LICHFL mentioning low interest rates of the order of 8 to 8.5% for first two years, and that NO PENALTY will be levied on full or part pre-payment of loan. This all was confirmed and re-confirmed by the branch executives as well as the branch manager

                        However, when I received the loan schedule copy issued in my name, it contained the 2% penalty clause upon any pre-payment. Visit to the Asaf Ali Road banch manager, to whom I raised the issue with, paid no result as he simply washed off his hands saying the newspaper adds are published by 3rd parties and that LICHFL is not responsible for the claims published there. Now, how can this be possible? Officially published ads in full logo plus details in the ad and official file number at the bottom make it very clear that the ads are not by 3rd parties, but by LICHFL only.

                        Moreover, once I availed the the interest rates were enhanced from 8.5% to 10.5% within 3 months of loan disbursal.

                        All this has made me feel sour over LICHFL also, which I had opted leaving aside the private companies thinking that LICHFL being kind of semi-public company, must be having some forced ethics and code of conduct to follow. But this is not true for LICHFL also.

                        SUGGESTION TO NEW LOAN SEEKERS--
                        Do not trust LICHFL or even other public banks. They play wrongfully in the veil of being public/ semi-public companies. Be careful, keep records and cuttings of all records, advertisements, illustrations by the loan companies which they offer before giving you the loan.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I, Manu Agarwal, Resident of 28, Rajeev Puram, Nera Takshila, Garh Road Meerut taken a LIC policy “Jeevan Shree” of sum assured Rs.500000 on 28 Jan 2002.
                          I have also availed the loan facility on this policy from LIC and handed over my policy documents at your Mawana Branch (0275) on 04 Nov 2006.
                          Now I have repaid all loan amount with interest till 22 Sep 2010 but still looking to receive my policy bond. In this regard I have communicated with Ms. Kalpana at Mawana branch (0275) many times and today she informed me that the same has been lost by LIC.
                          Now again I am in need to avail the loan on this policy but the LIC staff is not agree to approve the loan without submitting the policy bond.
                          This is much painful situation for me and I am suffering due to much financial crisis.
                          I request you to please get this matter resolved on the highest priority within a week’s time else I would have to approach to the Consumer Court. Please take a serious action against Ms. Kalpana so that in future no other customer would suffer and image of the LIC will not be hampered anymore like it had been inmycase.

                            I have booked a flat (601-B Tierra) in Casa Univis Project and already paid ~Rs 10L towards instalment and stamp duty + registration. Around 3 months back I applied for LIC housing loan and they gave me a preapproved sanction of Rs 40L but after going through all the documents provided by me as well as Lodha Builders, they declined to give the above said loan. The reason as told by LIC agent is that the title of the land is not clear which when reported to Lodha by me, they refused to accept the fact . As a layman it is really difficult for me to understand what is the actual case. LIC has not sofar given me any i writing and also has not returned my cheque of Rs 5500/ which was given by me as a part processing fees. Please provide me the fact in this regard.

                                I mr Nandkumar Kurle was willing to discontinue my LIC policy but an agent Mr.Nitin Jadhav had done fake signature & send an requisition to change to Bond funds without intimation. He has also done fake signature of mine.Now he is telling that he is busy and not attending us. He is our neighbour ,I dont think so he is so busy that he can't do the needful

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I have taken a 15 year loan @ ROI 8.5% from LIC Hsng Finance in Jun 2009 for Rs 28,59,000.
                                  As per the agreement 8.5% will be fixed for 3 months.Exactly after 3 months of the amount sanctioned date, LIC has changed the ROI to 9.75% (they have sent me a info mail as well).

                                  Now Nov2010 again the ROI has hiked by the LIC to 10.25% even without any information to me.

                                  Kindly suggest the way forward ....

                                      I purchased two policies of Market Plus on 27.08.2010 in the name of Mr. Biprajit Biswas and Mrs. Mira Biswas from your branch office of Kalyani (436). The amount of each policy was Rs.50000/-. The agent was Mrs. Smita Das (Sarkar)(code no. 04101436 and the DO was 000002. The policy numbers were[protected]for Mira Biswas) and[protected]for Biprajit Biswas). Transaction numbers are 72698 and 72696 at 11.45 and 11.44 am. Till today I have not received any certificate from LIC office. The agent misbehaved with us and not responding to our query. I request you to help me out.

                                      market plus I — certificate not yet received

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      My complains are related to LIC market Plus certificate for which I have already handed over Rs. 1,00,000/- check to Mrinmoy Basu agent of Lake Town LIC branch on may 2010, but till date mrinmoy basu not handed over any certificate to me. In this regards already I have raised 5 complain to branch manager lake town brach but he wont take any step against him beside that I should get Rs. 5000/- from him. Likethis this so many days passed where as I wont get any reply from any side. Kindly get my certificate.

                                      mrinmoy basu is a cheater and branch manager of laketown branch somehow giving support to him for doing such nuicence. look into this matter strictly and catch immediately to mrinmoy basu as he is habituated to do cheating with other consumer also. cancell his registration.
                                      no policy details and no document.

                                        Myself Satish Kashyap S/o Late Mr. Omparkash R/o Vill- Pengaltu, Post - Gorrota, Teh - Hodal, Dist - Palwal, Faridabad, Pin - 121106 want to complaint for Refund of Insured amount of insured person (Mr. Omparkash).

                                        My father has expired before 4 months in an accident. We have already submitted all Death Certificate & other required documents in LIC Palwal branch.But still we don't get any amount from LIC to the nominee.
