Dear Team,

i have done a policy " policy no[protected]" in my wife's name akanksha trivedi by branch south ex(code 11f)
by unit manager BIRENDRA XALXO , he requested us to sign on some of the places in the application form , I mentioned it very specifically that we want a policy for 10 years only , and he agreed for the same.But later when I received the policy receipt I was shocked to find that this policy has been done for 15 years duration instead of 10 years.
Unit manager personally assured me that the mistake will be rectified within no time.But after wasting 15 days by keeping policy with him ,he just refused to make any kind of possibility for any change in the policy.
I request you to kindly do the needful and guide me in this respect

HE IS ALREADY RETIRED FROM CRRI LONG BACK. MY SALARY SLIP SHOWS Rs.224/- HAS BEEEN PAID IN EVERY MONTH FOR LAST SEVENTEEN YEARS AND FOUR MONTHS. KINDLY, HELP ME in this regrad.

    Please refer to my above LIC Policy No.[protected] with your Branch. In this regard I would like to bring to your kind notice that while I was paying my LIC premium of Rs.8271.00 online thru my ICICI Bank Account No.[protected], Branch Greater Kailash, New Delhi on 11th February 2010 it was showed some error in the system and logged out and not got the receipt. After some time I logged on to LIC site and paid the same premium online thru my above mentioned Bank and I got the receipt No.PRO[protected] dated 11/02/2010 . Now my Bank account shows two debit balances of same amount.

    I, therefore, request you to please refund the amount of Rs.8271.00 paid as double.

      I am facing problem while registering on licindia.in . Always i am getting message " The Policy is alreday registered " but i have never registered my self.

      3-4 times i have forwarded my complaint by mail but no answer.

      Being a Government concern no one is bothered about public services & Complaints.

      Now I want to close my policy & will request others to not to go for LIC . ICICI , HDFC or any other private insurance is much much better than Govt. After all Sarkari Babu hain kyon janta ki pareshnai sungenge.

          LIC has been harassing me since a very long time now. I had initiated a home loan transfer from HDFC bank to LIC during Mar-April 2009. A lot of time was wasted in processing my request. Finally when the request is processed LIC is yet to pay out the complete loan amount. I have already paid my complete loan EMI for the past few months (5 months) without receiving the entire sanctioned loan amount. I have made numerous calls and sent numerous emails without proper response. Please help.

            I am having money back policy[protected] in 18 k branch Bhinmal raj. where I am receiving regular installment at every 5 year but the same for the year 2007 of rs.10k is still not received by me though the matter has been taken to the local branch and my local Agent but till today after 3 year nothing is done..

              Dear sir,

              With reference to policy no.[protected], I want to inform you that On 30th Jan 2010 I have received 12 cheques of Rs.300 approx. each .But I have not received any cheque for the commutation amount of approximately 17,400 Rs as informed by your agent who has given me the policy.I have not even received any option form. I was informed by your agent that i will get the maturity value in a single lumpsum amount.


              You are therefore requested to send the cheque of commutation amount and maturity value as soon as possible.I am ready to give you back all the cheque that i have received.Pls do the needful as soon as possible

                When i was posted at Jammu I took a lic policy bearing no[protected] after posted from there I could not pay the premiums on time and when I asked for the refund of my money i was told to go to Jammu and complete the formalities there. The policy has already lapsed and i am is not in position to pay the balance and revive the policy thus the money may please be refunded in gurgaon itself i am willing to all the formalities in gurgaon itself.

I HAVE RECD A COMMISSION VOUCHER FOR RS. 17050 DATED 3 02 2009 IN THE MONTH OF FEB. 2009 MY COMMISSION GOES DIRECT INTO MY HDFC BANK ACCOUNT NO. 1559 ON THIS DATE THE NAME OF THIS BANK WAS BANK OF PUNJAB SIRSA
                  IN THE MONTH OF DEC. 2009 I GAVE MY INCOME TAX CASE TO MY C.A FOR FILING INCOME TAX RETURN BUT WHEN MY C.A TRIED TO MATCH THE ENTRIES OF MY COMMISSION BILL WITH THE BANK A/C HE NOTICED AN ERROR IN THE BILL LIC HAS GIVEN ME A VOUCHER FOR RS 17050 DATED 03 09 2009 BUT THE BANK ENTRY WAS RS 11847 I WENT TO THE LIC OFFICE FOR VERIFYING THIS ENTRY BUT THE LIC OFICE TRIED TO CONCEAL THE FACTS IT TOOK ME NEARLY A MONTH TO REACH THE LOGICAL END OF THIS ERROR. I WAS TOLD THAT RS. 5203 WERE WRONGLY PAIED TO ONE OF THE CUSTOMER WHO WAS INSURED BY ME WIDE POLICY NO.[protected] THAT IS WHY RS. 5203 HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM YOUR COMMSSION. I FEEL MY SELF CHEATED BY THE MANGER THERE MAY BE ABOUT 5 LAC PERSON WHO HAVE SOME TYPE OF LINK WITH THE LIC IN FUTURE IF AN EMPLOYEE PAYS ANY AMOUNT WRONGLY TO A CUSTOMER IS THAT WILL ALSO BE A LIABILITY OF ANY AGENT I HAVE A VERY CLEAN IMAGE ABOUT LIC IN MY MIND NOW THIS KIND OF ACT HAS SHATTERED MY FAITH ABOUT SUCH ALARGE INSTITUTION OF FAME.                     Sir,
                    I had opted Loan of Rs 206000/- on 9Th March 2006 against my LIC Policies surrendered as collateral security. They are as follow.
                    Policy Nos. 1) [protected] 2) [protected] 3) 71420088 4) 71420083
                    5) [protected] 6) [protected] 7) 71121205 8) [protected]
                    Out of them first four policies matured and the sum amount received was adjusted against loan amount. Ultimately the loan amount completed on 11Th February 2009 and excess balance amount Rs 17407/- was returned to me.
                    Meantime we have shifted to Vadodara permanently. We have asked the concerned person to return the balance policies duly discharged to us.
                    Mr. Vilas (Clerk) and Mr. Rajeev (Officer in charge) demanded Rs 1000/-which I denied. So he asked me to produce bank statement showing last six installments paid and prolonged the matter. In next visit to Mumbai I produced the statement, I was then told that the file is not traceable and noted the number and said we will call you. In this matter I also met Branch Manager Mr. Vishal Doshi personally as well as on telephone no [protected] number of times and as per their direction also met Ms Darshana at Jeevan Prakash Mumbai office.
                    I am very much surprised that how the file has disappeared from office and no record says that where it can be, even though you have upto date computerized records and tight security.
                    My one of the policy stated above no 7 for Rs 15000/- is maturing in April. 2010. I request you that issue me duplicate policies duly discharged by you marking no dues pending, issue departmental action against the concerned errant officers and do the needful, as I am senior Citizen and is not possible to come to Mumbai.

                    i am a costumer of lic housing finance.I had taken housing loan.My account no. is 16003154 and appeal no. is 203544.I had paid all my loans but when i approached the lic office indore they said loan is pending of two months. I showed them the recipt of 1 month but i m not abl to find the 2nd slip.When i informed the office they are not cooprating.I m not getting any response from them so sir please sir look into the matter and reply me as soon as possible.

                      I have taken one LIC HEALTH PLUS on 28.05.2009 and my Policy No. is[protected] and yearly premium of Rs.7500/-. But it is regret to inform you that till date i have not received the "Welcome Kit" alongwith my Policy from TPA. Even if when I asked about some information the Agent and his Development Officer Mr. MK Dey does not know anything. They are playing with me since 9 months but fail to give me some information as well as my KIT. You are requested to kindly look into this matter seriously otherwise I will go for cancell of this policy. Looking forward to the valuable response at your end.

I have to received any confirmation of my payment or any receipt through email mentioned above, but my bank account is showing that they have deducted this money from my account.

                          Dear sir,

                          We have paid the premium for the policies[protected] and[protected] which are in the name of Mr A. Ganeshan for the month December on 05.01.2010 via collecting branch code 701 since the online payment link was not working.

                          Where as this month when we tried to pay the payment for January again it has taken the premium for the month december and even the receipt is not generated yet. why is it so? and still the premium is pending for the month january.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I, Narendra Kumar Shrivastava, am policy holder policy number[protected]. This policy was purchased by me from LIC office Damoh Branch(037D) in August'78. The monthly installment was Rs 42.50/- It was due on August'2008.
                            In year 1984, I took a loan of Rs 800/- against this policy. Hence, the policy was deposited in the LIC office Damoh Branch.
                            A letter from LIC office was recieved iin June'2008 stating the amount of plicy as Rs 15,180/- which was due to be encashed in August'2009.

                            After the due date on approaching the LIC office, it was told that the record of the policy could not be found. Hence no payment was made.

                            Even after 1 year and 4 months the payment is still awaitnig. Please look into the matter.

                            Dear Sir/ Madam,

                            My Future Plus policy bearing no.[protected] has vested on[protected]. I have received intimation letter on[protected], having ref no. 73H/AnnuityOption/ULIP-IPP dated[protected] by post, for purchase of pension. Please note that the intimation letter was posted by LIC, Nampally, Hyderabad office on[protected]. I have approached the local BHEL Branch office earlier, for surrendering the policy, but this was not taken saying that there is no specific information on Future Plus Policy, available with them and I have to come only after Vesting date, i.e.[protected].
                            In the absence of information, I have approached the concerned official at BHEL branch office for taking the total payment of Policy on Maturity on[protected] and[protected]. But, I was informed that total maturity amount can’t be taken, as the vesting date[protected] has already crossed.
                            As I was not guided/ intimated that this policy is to be submitted before[protected], either by Local BHEL branch or by the Nampally- Hyderabad office, I could not submit the Policy for claiming total amount in time. Further, I have received the intimation letter for purchase of pension only on[protected].
                            So, I request you to kindly consider my case for claiming total Maturity amount, without opting for purchase of pension, as I am in dire necessity of funds for purchase of Flat.

                                  I am writing this letter after having tried to represent my case to your staff on many occasions and getting frustrated due to their unsympathetic, uncaring and unhelpful attitude.

                                  Sir, I have been making regular remittances (EMI) towards the above housing loan for the past many years through ECS arrangement with Punjab National Bank. Recently, since I have joined the Bharathidasan University as Professor of Social Work and because my salary account is with the State Bank of India (BDU Branch - SB A/c No: [protected]), I wanted to change my ECS arrangement from PNB to SBI. In this regard, I gave my fresh ECS Mandate Form duly signed by me and the officer concerned at the SBI (BDU Branch) to your staff (a young lady who takes care of all matters relating to ECS payments and IT Certificates), as early as 20th November 2009. but, on 25th Jan 2010, I was shocked to receive a letter from your office informing me that my payment had been dishonoured (in an open letter which can be read by anyone in a rather degrading manner). As soon as I got that letter, I came to your office and met the lady staff in-charge of ECS and pleaded with her to set things right with regard to my ECS arrangement. She said she will see what can be done but never did anything. She also promised to call me and appraise me regarding the actual problem concerning the ECS arrangement which she has not done till date. In the mean time, again, yesterday, I was shocked to receive another open letter dated 02/02/2010 mentioning that there is non-payment of dues under my Loan.

                                  Sir, I wish to inform you that I submitted ECS Mandate Forms to your office and the BSNL office on the same day (20/11/2009). The BSNL bills are being cleared through ECS without any confusion or problem but only with the LIC, I am facing unnecessary problems, mental agony and stress.

                                  Sir, I am extremely busy person occupying a very responsible position as Professor & Head, Department of Social Work at the Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli-23. I travel a lot both within the country and even overseas and hence, I am always hard pressed for time. I can not be running up and down to your office to beg your staff who are very indifferent and totally unhelpful. It is very unfortunate to see how staff of a government organization such as LIC can cause so much of mental stress, agony and problems even to highly educated and well placed individuals like me. I am just wondering how much of a mental agony they will create for uneducated or less educated folks.

                                  Sir, I even tried to meet with you personally, but I could not. Now, I request you to take serious steps and see that my ECS arrangement with the State Bank of India is regularized.

                                  Since, my EMI remittance has been disrupted for the past 2 months for no fault of mine, I am herewith sending you an SBI Local Cheque (No.443012) dated 05/02/2010 for Rs.8448/- (Rupees Eight Thousand Four Hundred and Forty Eight Only) towards my 2 months’ EMI amount. Kindly acknowledge receipt of the EMI remittance and set right my ECS arrangement.

                                  I am also sending a copy of this letter to the State Bank of India authorities for necessary action and initiatives to rectify things, if at all there are any, on their part.

                                  I request you Sir, to kindly help me by intervening and taking further action against erring staff of concerned departments, sections or whatever.

                                  It takes almost 1 month or more to open an a/c because whenever you go to open an a/c the staff would say not now come later. They are so lazy. They dont justify thier salary they just get paid to sit & chat with the colleagues....
                                  LIC is one of the Parasite organisation feeding on the hard earned money of common man the company have good policy for the people but none are implemented as all the people working with this organisation are having a careless attitude coz they know it is not performance based job, same is the situation with AIR INDIA, we as a common man should really take some concrete action against these SEMI GOVT organisation so that common man is not taken for granted... Just think now you are young you are paying them your hard earned money with complete confidence but what happens when you go back to them after 30 years to reimbursement of your dues... you can do something now but that time may be you are helpless and this organisation will add up to your problems..wake up and file suitable legal cases against this organisation mentioning the individual working for this company so that others take a lesson and improve their working or leave jobs due to poor service.

                                      I, Rahul Kumar Sharma, have taken some Policies from HDFC SLIC, but
                                      have been cheated, so I would like to address this serious concern
                                      which I have been facing since a long time, but unfortunately, so
                                      far,HDFC SLIC team have not been very keen to look into the concerns,
                                      with this mail, I hope not only to be heard in a proper manner but also
                                      some necessary actions will be taken against the culprits..

                                      These are the main concerns/problems we have:

                                      1. While taking policies I have been told by the representative that
                                      the premium is to be paid only for 2-3 years only that too for 3
                                      policies that I have taken... which I got to know only a few days back
                                      is not the case.. to my shock I got to know that there are several
                                      policies in my name which I have never been aware of and we got to know
                                      about it only when we found that the money has been transferred for
                                      almost 7-8 different policies.

                                      2. There are fake policies in my wife's name, Archna Khurana where if
                                      you go through the paper work the signatures are not there, and even
                                      the address is fake, to my utter surprise I got to know of this
                                      scam,when the money was transferred from my account and I got the
                                      details where and why the money has been transferred.

                                      3. There are policies in the name of my Brother Rohit Kumar, again I
                                      was left aghast when I got to know that the premium amount has been
                                      deducted for 3 policies though we had just taken one policy for him.

                                      I have provided information to the representative trusting him
                                      unknowingly that a Bank of such repute can cheat their customers with
                                      lakhs of rupees.

                                      I would hereby request for a refund of all those policies which are
                                      fake, for which we are hopeful to get some reply from your esteemed
                                      Bank within this week as I am not very keen to proceed for legal
                                      complications, but if I would not be heard this time, filing for a
                                      legal suit will be the only option as the money involved is not just
                                      few thousands but lakhs of my hard earned money.

                                      I am very hopeful for a positive reply this time.(details of all these
                                      policies will be provided once I hear from any representative of HDFC
                                      Bank)

                                        This is with reference to my discussion on January 30, 2010 regarding non receipt of the processing fees paid towards LIC Housing Loan File No: 407640 & Top up loan File no. 407639.

                                        As discussed earlier, I have applied for loan transfer & top up request dated April 27, 2009 and the same got rejected after 4 months due to some reason. I have been following with your thane branch sales agent Mr. Ramesh Chavan also spoke to Mr. Mohan (Head of thane branch) from last 8 months for the refund of Rs. 5300/- paid towards processing fees of above mentioned loan no’s.
