Dear Sir,

1. I would like to bring to your kind notice of an instance which is an absolute contradiction to "Fair Practice Code" by agents OF LIC HOUSING FINANCE. The details are as follows:-

2. Having got a lucrative offer from Mr Sumit/Abhay (D.M. Consultants & Company, 1028/15, Tilak Bazar, Ist Floor, Chandni Chowk, Delhi - 110006, Mobile Numbers - [protected], [protected] & Land line No[protected] I got duped by the false statements. I had applied to LIC Housing Finance for a loan of Rs 5 Lac in first week of Dec 2009 with a promise of hassle free loan by said representative. I had categorically asked the person if my papers do not fulfill I will never opt of LIC Policy/process charges but Mr Sumit had assured me that my cheques will only be presented if your loan is sanctioned.

3. At very early stage of this process, Mr Sumit/Abhay were callingn me twice a day for documents/cheques despite of my reluctance/low interest in the process due to number of hassles involved in such cases. I owe a house with a value of almost more than 30 Lacs (Loan applied just for 5 Lacs to save taxes in future). After a number of calls from above representatives, they earned my faith and I handover them all documents/2 cheques on a very good failth. One of the cheque amounting to Rs 7210/- has already been deducted from my account on 22 Dec 2009. It seems to be a good technique of selling the LIC products. Another cheque of Rs 1103/- is also with them which they can produce any time to be deducted to my account and I am still bereft of clear cut picture of my loan status. I work on nets more than 12 hours a day and hence know all pros & cons of investments. I already have sufficient pure term insurance and prefer to invest in equities/mutual funds and not in LIC policies.

3. Despite of my reiterative calls to Mr Amit since last week, he is not giving due response on my calls. It has now become my prerogative to take such an action which deemed fit. I have no intention of defaming the concerned company but to bring false promise/offers by the representative in light of your Company and other concerned.

4. Hence you are requested to take action to get my whole amount refunded at the earliest possible otherwise I will have no option but to take legal action accordingly.

5. Such agents will surely harm the good credibility of company like LIC HOUSING FINANCE and is not good for long practice. Hope you will understand the nuances of the case and will take an action which deemed fit to settle the case.

Sir I Laxmi Narayan Sharma having the policy No[protected] . I paid the premiunm online on 25/08/2009 by SBI net banking and cyber receipt was given but not updated . Now the status showing on LIC web site is " POLICY IS NOT IN FORCE" . I lodged a complaint with LIC on 21/01/2010 with ref No 226216 but still no action was taken by LIC and my policy is not updated . Sir Now please update my policy so that I can be able to pay my premium on line and my benefits can be unchanged. the cyber receipt is as below:-

I Laxmi Narayan Sharma having policy No 1003722 since 1998 and I am paying my policy premium online on LIC web site and I had paid my policy on 25/08/2009 by SBI net banking and cyber receipt was given.
But sir my policy was not updated and now it is showing "dead" on web site of LIC its status is "POLICY IS NOT IN FORCE" Sir Now I am unable to contact with mother branch at Jodhpur ( Rajasthan) . I launched a complaint with LIC on its site on dated 21/01/2010 by its complain No 226216 but no action was taken and still its show the same status . Kindly update my policy so that I can pay on line and all the benefits remains unchange it is due to the mistake of LIC .KIndly rectify the problem

I had posted complaint on 5th December-09,After consulting Mr. k arun of LIC-Bagalore and Mr. ks lukosh (ABB-Bagalore), iam not getting any communication / actions from both .As this Group policy taken by ABB for Employee ,It is responsibily of company that his empoyee who had served there in ABB for thirty two years gets his own money on time .As on to day after eleven months iam not getting my annuity pension from LIC.

Non recipt of Pension from LIC-Annuity No. 061Q[protected]
I have received Certificate of Annuity letter from LIC-Baglore of Dated 25th-July-09(Annuity No. 061 Q [protected]), regarding my Annuity payment.As mention in letter first instalment is to be due on 22nd.Octomber-09.Pls.note that up to today the due amount is not deposited to my account. The copy of the Letter received from Lic and copy of my Bank account details,sent to LIC-Pension &Group Insurance Dept. J C Road,Bangalore-560 002 on dated 04th.November-09 through Registed post and same Acknowleddge by LIC-Bangole by 13th. November-09.Ihave also send copy through Register AD, to my company (Mr.KS Lukose) M/S ABB Ltd.Khaneja Bhavan,49 Race Course road. Banglore-560001. Up to today i have not received any communication from LIC as well as from my Company ABB LTD.

I am very much regret to note the poor service rendered by LIC of India as I am still waiting to get the TPA Card of Myself and for my son.

Now, I would request you to intervene in this matter and resolve the issue.

In my bank - Central bank - sola road - ahmedabad - savings a/c no. [protected] - my monthly pension amount not deposited since dec-08 by lic.

i have submitted my "hayati" proof in front of cbi bank manager in prescribed lic form with authorised signature bank manger. The same lic form I have posted to the LIC ofiice - Bombay - (pension dept) on 13/12/2009. But I am sorry to say that no response of my document and depositing my pension amount (rs. 1800 monthly - from dec-2008) status by lic- india since today.

I have inquired with my bank on dated 19/01/10 about my pension amount as mentioned above para but found status nil.

you are requested to look in my case very seriously and requested to deposit my pension amount (since dec-08) at the earliest ane inform me by e-mail with your detail reply.

i have write this complaint through my relative.

I am 91 years old and favour me at the earliest.

Dear All,

I took loan from LIC in August -09 at 8.5 ROI , and with in 3 months it has been changed to 10%.
As per my sanction letter its right as it was issued in month of June-09.

I want to complain that many collagues took loan in same month from LIC and they are still paying 8.5 ROI.
even after 3 months.

I tried to get the real problem and they told me that this rate is fixed for them for 3 years. I saw there sanction letter and there is no difference in my and there terms and condition.

Then why i should pay 10 % , it's completely nonsense LIC is making fool to people.

Today i am paying highr interest than any other bank. Please tell me how can i switch to other bank or to other plan where my Intereset can be fixed at 8.5.

My Lic Policy No. is[protected] and Matured On[protected], I already Sent Original Policy deed With Discharge Form to my lic office, Arambagh branch (Br.Code-449),Arambagh, Hooghly, West Bengal. The matured amt is to be Rs. 20241/- and it is very urgent to me but i have not received any cheque from their end though it is already past 7 weeks till today. I have contacted that Arambagh Lic office several times with there Branch Manager but they are reacting very relactant is this regard.
Please take necessary action at your end so that i can get the matured amount as soon as possible and oblise me.

I have paid my LIC premium for this year via SBI Card Bill pay facility.It was paid on 15th jan and the amount has been debited form my card but I have not yet received any premium receipt from LIC nor I am able to download it form the licindia portal.

I have a insurance policy from LIC of India Ltd. Branch BHARWARI Distt. Allahabad. Policy No.[protected]. After evey four years Rs.25000/- will be money back to me but after four and a half year is pass on and I am not getting any cheque or amount of Rs.25000/- from LIC.All preimums has already paid by me at schedule time.
I have talk to Manager of above branch by telephone no.[protected] from DEcember-2009 but his reponse is not satisfactory.

Please look in to metter so I can get my money back with 12% interset as aleary as possible.

Respected Sir,

I had applied for home loan to LIC home loan in april 2009 and till date nothing has happened i had requested to stop the process as there was no update from LIC.

Also i had requested to refund the processing fees as there was no action taken since 9 months.

I have written email to concern branch almost 10 email. Since i am staying in chennai. I only got reply that they have forwarded the request to the concern branch. After that i did not get any response it is almost 3 weeks.

Could you please help to how i can get this refund back.

I tarsem chand jain visited L.I.C of india branch jagraon many times to collect the above policy nos. cheques and met Sh. A.P.Singh. They told me cheques are with sh. K.K.Sharma D.O.RAEKOT. I met mr. K.K.Sharma for these cheques. He told me, he has no cheques with him. Plz ask some responsible officer behand over the cheques with interest immidiately and enquire for the delay and harrasment.

I have submitted loan proposal for Construction of House on my own Plot (measuring 3000sq ft.) at LIC HOUSING LOAN Ltd Br.AURANGABAD . MAHARASHTRA, 4 mths before.I have been told to submit photo copies for the proposal ,and I have submitted all the Documents demanded by an agent mr. Anis whom we met in their office and recomended by their maneger .Mr MOGARKAR, later on as per their Manager the documents were sent to Pune office for Scrutiny and Sanction ,after finding all the documents positive this Agency Sanctioned the loan proposal submitted by me vide File No.318067 dated.06/11/2009,of Amt. 950000,(Nine lacks fifty thousand Rupees) and accordingly issued sanction letter and told us to start the Construction Work,as the construction has reached up to Plinth level,I informed them to send their Engineer(Valuer) for site visit and further procedure for disbursement of first installment of sanctioned loan ,Their approved Valuer gave a visit to our construction site,on 25th of December ,Till date I have requested them orally several times to disburse the first installment of loan amt,but nothing is being done from their part ,and today I went to the said agency with an Request Application for disbursement of first installment of the loan amt ,but in the said office I met Mr.RAJESH KAWADE and he Arrogantly refused to accept that application without giving any reason.I am suffering heavy losses because of this inaction on their part as some construction material is purchased on credit basis ,PLZ ADVICE.

I HAVE TAKEN LIC MONEY PLUS ( 180 ) PLAN AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ACCOUNT STATEMENT FROM 2007 TILL DATE.
SO I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY SEND ME MY ACCOUNT STATEMENT.

I have taken a home loan in month of Dec,09. Till now , i have not received any written communication about repayment or home loan details nor hit any ECS to my bank account.
After making a phone to LIC HFL office, i understood that i need to pay some amount against interest for this month and asking some late payment charges.
This is how these peoples are working ? For their own mistake , we have to suffer.

I am sunitha having the LIC health plus with the policy number[protected]. Due to accident on[protected], my spinal cord has been injured with the back bone burst fracture and under gone surgery. So my entire lower limb becomes paralyzed. The problem is called paraplegia in medical terms. Please confirm with the concerned doctor. This policy is made for 20,0000. I was in the hospital about 1 and half month and spend more than 60,0000 and having all the document.
But you have released only 24,000. I appealed for reconsider. But you have send the surgery is not enlisted in your list.

I requesting you to reconsider and release the full amount.

My daughter VAISHNAVI had met with an accident on 01/9/2008 and suffered a fracture of right leg femur bone. She was operated upon using open LC-DCP to fix her femur bone using a plate & screws. Total cost of treatment was Rs.67000/- . Now LIC has settled just Rs.3000/- for the claim.

Since it is an accident case LIC need to settle the treatment amount in full.

I request the authorities to look into the issue to get the full claim.
