I purchased luminous inverter on 18 jun 2016. The problem occurred that inverter is not working. Same i complained immediately to customer care since that more than 48 hours have passed but not a single call has been received from the service centre. Request no. [protected]. Its very pathetic condition that dealing such important services how these peoples turned into deaf. It is the worst experience in my life that i have came across such a useless customer support service. I have made several calls to customer care but not getting any response. I have also called the area service no.[protected], mr. Lokesh kumar on [protected]. He gives me the no. Of mr. Babu rao babai no. [protected]. Both are not taking any interest in providing the service. Please kindly send the technician asap.

    I have purchased a luminous invertor from bharat electronics, jacoubpura gurgaon, 122001. Unfortunately we are facing some technical issue in it and i tried to complaint on luminous customer care they lodged a complaint on 19-mar-18 service engineer came and blame on our electricity fittings and wiring, after that we arranged the electrician for checking and then he said wiring is ok problem is in your inverter, after that i again lodged a complaint and till date issue not resolved, kindly look into this and resolve on priority basis.

      Hi all,
      I bought a luminous invertor on 05/09/2017 and it worked properly only for 3 months. On december invertor got fired and burned out completely.
      I raised complaint with luminous through my dealer and company visited & checked all wirings and the incident spot in my home. Finally said that they will replace the product.
      Complaint raised on december and luminous people inspected the spot at january (After pongal). Still now nothing happened - people are not responding to calls. Attached photos for reference.
      Very worst service by luminous company & their staffs.

        We had given our house on rent to luminous pvt ltd for office use and we haven't yet received the payment of a month. When contacted the person promised clear our dues and said that the cheques are on the way. This has happened in the month of march 2017 and now it's the end of nov. We are fed up of calling daily and getting fake promises. We need you to look into this matter as soon as possible. Its a humble request!

          I purchased luminous 1100 inverter power back up on june 2017. The unit got non functional on 17th november 2017. I raised a complaint on 20th to customer care. They initially said a guy will call and get rectified shortly. After 4 days i called customer care again. At that time they aksed me to call the service manager number. I tried calling them, but the phone is switched off. The next day i called the customer care again. This time they gave the service manager kerala area (Harish) number. He tool the phone and he said he will come to m place after 2 days. However it never happened. I tried multiple time even today. But he is not picking the call. Seems kike they dont want to take the complaints from the customers. This is too much frustrating.. Today is the 10th day without the power backup... My complaint number is mentioned below.

            I have complained regarding my inverter which went into strike since the past 2 weeks, there is no response from the company or no engineer has visited or called to enquire about the complaint...!! This is totally irresponsible behaviour from luminous the worst company i have ever faced..!!

              Hello,

              I have purchased luminous inverter and battery online from luminous websites and they committed me that installation and delivery is free of cost without paying any amount.

              Once product is delivered by them, they denied to install it by saying they don't have expert electrician to install the inverter in home.

              When i called customer care, they shown me unethical behavior and denied to install the inverter. This must be stopped in india.

                I raised a complaint through the luminous toll free number on 20th oct (Ref # [protected]). Till date (4 days later), i have not got a call from any technician. On contacting the customer service again yesterday (23rd oct), i was given a wrong mobile number of the technician. They have no idea what is happening on the ticket and are least bothered about customer issues. I was on the phone on hold for 5 minutes before they answered and even after selecting 1 for english on the ivr menu for english, it was forwarded to the hindi speaking executives. I called this customer care number 4 times and all the 4 times a hindi speaking executive used to respond, even though i selected english.

                I am really frustrated with the levels of customer service that is being rendered. I have spent rs. 19, 000/- for this product and expect a quality service and prompt response, both of which is completely ignored now and is pushing a customer like me away from buying any more luminous products ever.

                    Hi,

                    I was looking for a inverter for my father's home and on 20th sep 2017, while browsing for the same, i came across https://www.luminouseshop.com. they have a online chat option there with the sales guys. I had a chat there with the guy called grumer (Not sure real name or pseudo name). I inquired with him about the model i thought would be suitable for my usage, https://www.luminouseshop.com/collections/inverter-battery-combo/products/ecovol... the website says rs 19, 290 (Including trolley).

                    Here the false promises started:

                    1. I checked with him if there is any discount on the occasion of dushera, or any other type of discount. He replied saying, if i buy it from online today, he will give me a rs 800 discount on the price. Then i verified if there will be any other charges applied to the location (I gave the pin code 768004)?
                    He checked and replied there will be no additional charge to the location.
                    He confirmed, delivery and installation both will be taken care by their team without any additional cost.
                    Also, the delivery will be done within 2-3 working days. He said mostly by 22nd sep, friday it will be done, or if any delay then definitely by 23rd sep saturday will be done.

                    So, i thought its a good deal and decided to proceed.

                    He gave me a code wed800 to enter in the coupon place to avail the discount. Hence i checked out, and to my surprise i see a rs 500 delivery charge added to my bill. I told him (He was on call with me to guide me through the checkout process), that why this rs 500 is added, and he told, its mistake from his part, he checked it wrong and as the delivery area is far from the nearby warehouse, the delivery cost is added. I was bit upset already by this point, but as i was still getting rs 300 discount and wanted to gift my parent, i decided to proceed and placed the order in my father's name mr girindra kumar nayak with full payment (As they don't have cod for items more than rs 10, 000).

                    I waited 22nd sep full day and heard nothing from luminous orders team. Then decided to reach-out to them on 23rd sep morning and sent an email to "[protected]@luminouseshop.com" as mentioned in the e-receipt. I got a prompt reply saying:
                    "refer to your below mail, request you to please allow us sometime as we need to connect once with our authorized dealer regarding your delivery status. Kindly wait till 2:00 pm will update you shortly."

                    Then i waited till 5:30pm and heard nothing from them hence replied back asking for a status. Below was the response for it:
                    "refer to your above mail, we have confirmed with our authorized dealer regarding your product delivery status. Due to weekend you will receive your product till monday."

                    Then on 25th i called their cc number[protected] mentioned in the e-receipt to acclerate the process, rather than email. They gave me the authorized dealer's number and asked to call him and check the status. I called the dealer mr pradeep shukla and he put me in conference with the local dealer mr amiya prusty, where mr amiya confirmed in the conference call than with in 1 hour the delivery will be done. (It was around 11:30am). Then the contacting back and forth continued every 1-2 hours. I called the dealers and even emailed the luminous team atleast a dozen times and finally the delivery arrived around 6:45pm.

                    But they only delivered and left and told installation team is different and they will come later (Don't know when). Also i noticed the delivered ups looks different compared to what i had ordered in the website (Attached is the pics of both). I emailed back to [protected]@luminousindia.com as well as [protected]@luminouseshop.com, mentioned both the points of when the installation will be done and why the model looks different. To this mr umang from [protected]@luminousindia.com responded below:
                    "hello mr. Nayak,

                    I had checked your order details + delivery snapshot from your end, its same & correct as both product (Hups) is same as mentioned, kindly check.

                    2ndly, our local partner is only entitle for delivering the product, we are not promising for installation, if you want same, you have to arrange on your own or it will be chargeable as per local electrician.

                    Pradeep /disha – plz check & resolve the client’s issue on priority & update on same mail."

                    To this point i was already fed up with the service from a reputed company like luminous and replied back with the below along with the same snapshots attached here:

                    "hi,

                    This is not what the pre sales guy grumer had mentioned while selling the product. He had told i won't have to pay anything extra for the installation and the amount that i'm paying covers all. Now you are saying a different story all together. Please inform your sales team not to do such false promises to sell product. I would not have selected luminous if knew i have to go through all this hussle.

                    Also regarding the product how do you say both are same? Please compare the display section of the ups i sent in the image with the one being displayed in your website in the link i sent. Does both look same to you?"

                    Finally i had to pay rs 1, 000 here and get it installed (The ups they have given me and not what i had ordered)

                    Since then they have not responded to it and hence i had to come to consumer complaints forum to seek justice, as its a clear case of fraud and ignorance from both the orders and sales team of luminous eshop.

                    Please do the needful so that other people don't get cheated by such online frauds.

                      I have complained regarding the problem with the problem twice but till date no initiative has been taken to resolve the concerned problem. Although they are closing my complain citing it as resolved as I came to know from the coustomer care. Because of this problem me and my family has been facing this hot and humid climate and facing the mental trauma that today they will be calling or tomorrow. Since I am a working person I am very much mentally disturbed that whether they will call today or tomorrow and being available on time is of great concern and if not available they will say that since you were not available so we cannot solve the concerned problem. Now in case who should be held liable if the consumer is facing the heat from corporate company not bounding to the service as mentioned in their terms.
                      So I will request you to kindly look upon to the problem that we are facing and that are even saying that the problem couldn't be solved do whatever you can do.
                      Please look up into this matter so that our hard and valuable money spent can be justified.

                        I have complained about luminous inverter on 16th august. Next day technician visited and after inspection told that he will come with new defective part next day. Next day i had phoned him, but he received the call after 3 to 4 rings and said that he was sleeping at 10 am and would come at evening. After that everyday i phoned him to come to repair and he is telling i will come till today 7th september.

                            Before two years we installed a solar inverter of luminous company. So from the starting we are facing problem in this inverter now it is going over 2 yrs and when i request to repair it luminous takes 10-15 dayss to repair it. Now i do not want this peace. Company is not also related to extend the warranty. Every month it has compaints. No service engineer is ready to repair it in 24 hrs. They always takes 10-15 days.

                              Problem that fan installation after 10 days fan main unit is sound problem we have compland luminous customer care 3 to 4 time engineers visit time to time but problem ye hai ki fan ki main unit 4 time change but sound problem solve nahi hui and main unit jitni bar change karte hai old repair unit laga dete hai but problem solve nahi ho rahi hai.

                                The customer purchased Luminous Home UPS 2000VA Cruize SL 14E929B1012800 from Taneja Electricals, Exhibition Road, Bharatpur, Rajasthan (Invoice No. 8560 dtd. 30/10/2014).

                                From 28 March 2016, we lodged complaint to customer care regarding problem in UPS (Complaint No. [protected]). The Customer Care has given us the number of Service Engineer ([protected]).

                                Despite of timely action, we were not given the services by the Service Engineer. We informed at the Luminous Helpline Number as reminder calls of non-professional attitude of Service Engineer but unsatisfied with their response of delivering services on next day (i.e., 31 Mar 2017). We are still waiting for the services of the company side.

                                We suffered from the breakdown of power and need compensation of the delay in the services from the company.

                                  Hi,

                                  I have bought luminous battery 2 years ago. For the last six months, back up of the battery is running low. I have lodged a complaint in august but problem remained unresolved due to non availability of substitute battery. In Feb, 2017 I lodged the complaint again and an executive came and put his separate charger for battery charging and after 48 hours came and checked if the battery is fully charged. After satisfaction of fully charged battery, he checked the battery status with 3 fans and 4 CFLs load and confirmed that the battery is under-performing. But again, they were not giving the substitute battery. I called the person who sold me this battery, he somehow arranged the substitute battery and picked up this battery, as the replacement was supposed to be done with in a week.
                                  We were out of town for a while and as we returned, we called the concerned person and got the battery delivered by the person who soled the battery. The very next day we saw the fluctuations in light, as soon as the power cut took place.
                                  On complaining, we came to know that the battery was not replaced, it was only recharged and delivered to us, and the company was trying to fool us.
                                  Now again, on complaining we did not receive any assistance and have the same old battery after a follow up of 8 months.

                                  I am so frustrated and tired of asking for a permanent resolution but everything I tried, went in vain.

                                  Now I seek your kind intervention for the resolution of this issue. Your kind support and assistance would be appreciated.

                                    I have opened a PPF A/c. in State Bank of India, Taratola branch, in the Name of my wife on 15.09.2000. My opening balance to that account was Rs.5000. Few days later my job has been shifted and being able to operate the account. Last year I went to that branch and wanted to continue that account. The bank has instructed me to deposit the penalty Rs. 1500 (@Rs.100/year) according I had paid that penalty to the bank. The next day when I went to deposit further amount to that account they told that the ledger is not traceable. Till date the branch manager is not responding regarding that matter. On dialing this representative person, number is always busy and person on other side of phone is rude and give inapproprite answers, just keep saying problem will solve soon but nothing has happed since 20 days, as 20days was no sooner for us,
