      Our last bill amounted to approximately 4189 rs which is extortionate and it is a complete rip off, we opted for the gas pipeline thinking that it would be cheaper than cylinders however it turns out otherwise. please look into this or else I will escalate it further

          The first bill I received from Mahanagar gas was billed from April 2021 but the connection at my home started Dec 2021. I was incorrectly billed for 7 months. I had raised multiple complaints with Mahanagar gas, but all I have is a new docket no. every time and no resolution. latest docket no. - 7334762 I have asked them to give me a revised bill minus the extra charges added for the initial 7 months and to waive off the late fee. But everytime the reply I get is we will look into the issue and get back, but unfortunately I don't receive any response.
          Looking forward to get the bill revised corrected bill.

            Excessive Billing + Bill not provided

            Address: Isha prasad, Shivaji Park, Dr. M.B.Raut Road

            I had written a letter to MGL on 30.05.2023 and given meter reading snapshot showing 00055144. (CA No[protected], BP No. [protected]). My building-Isha Prasad- is slated to go under redevelopment hammer and therefore I vacated my premises on[protected], i.e. next day. Upon request of developer, the meter was decommissioned on 22.06.2023 when the meter reading showed 00055246.
            I have now received a payment reminder for Rs. 1, 703 for...

            I am getting charged excessive bills since last 6 months
            Further moreover in the month of Jun 2023 they charged excess of 1200/- as arrears ( FYI, there is no outstanding bill from our end, SS attached here with) so please make correction in June month’s bill and send it correct bill to us as soon as possible.
            There should be default in meter or Gas leakage issue.

                My bill amount is quiet high for the month of June 2023 CA no[protected] as the house was earlier rented and has been vacated from 30/04/2023 onwards
                Being the vacant flat my bill amount raised is rs 1131/-

                please look into the matter and reduce the bill accordingly as i need to make the payment before due date i.e. 07/07/2023

                  We have registered our complaint on the Mahanagar Gas pipeline regarding new connection. We called them 8times in a row but no one has turned up.
                  This is highly unethical and unprofessional. Everytime we call the customer care support they say we will receive a call from superior within 24hrs-48hrs, still we are waiting for the call. There is existing pipeline in the building premises the technician has to come and visit the place and set the new connection. Its been 3months now for the complaint.

                  Requesting for solution for the same at earliest.

                    We registered our complaint on Mahanagar Gas customer number as good as 8times in a row. Everytime we call they take our complaint but do not respond back. We get a patent reply saying within 24hours the team superior will call back but still we are awaiting for their reply.

                    The technician was supposed to visit the house for new gas connection but its been 3months now no one has turned up. This is quite unethical and unprofessional. The existing premises already has gas connection the technician just has to visit the site and do the installation for our house.

                    Requesting for a quick and easy way to get out of this,

                      A few days back, we received our Gas bill which was 8072/-. We were surprised to see such a high bill because we are only a family of 2 people, cooking food only once a day.

                      So we checked with our neighbors and other families living in the building. Their bill for cooking three times a day for a full-fledged family comes anywhere between 900 to 2000/3000/-. All of them said that there is some issue either with the meter or there is a gas leak.

                      Also, once we received the bill of 8072/- a few days back, I started to check the meter reading. And I was SHOCKED! Please see details below.

                      ISNT THIS VERY EVIDENT OF THE FAULT?

                      Need to rectify the meter and make corrections in the bill ASAP. We are not entitled to pay for something that is faulty.

                      I can provide the bill with the bill no's and all details and payment screenshots as well.

                        I am continuesly complaing regarding over billing of my Gas Bill from Septmber 2022. After long they got RS, 401/- Deposit (which was suppose to be returned IF problem in Meter) for visit of technician, who came and confirmed that meter is leakage. after that on 4/5/23, they change the meter. But shockingly bill for May month is more then before. Now on customer care they are showing their inability to do anything further.
                        So request your good selves to please do the needful.

                          I have paid MGL bill via Amazon Pay on 01s May 2023 ..but on 20th May i get message from MGL bill is due and pending..Even after doing hundreds of followups calls, mail, chats with Amazon and MGL and giving all proofs that payment was successful from Amazon Pay, MGL is still working on the issue.
                          Lot of my time is wasted to share all proofs with MGL..
                          Now they have requested me my Financial Statement of 20 days..These MGL guys are not aware of any kind of security for requesting any Financial statement from customer...This was expected as this is a government il-literate organisation

                          Very pathetic system of Mahanager Gas, Thane...
