We have registered our complaint on the Mahanagar Gas pipeline regarding new connection. We called them 8times in a row but no one has turned up.
This is highly unethical and unprofessional. Everytime we call the customer care support they say we will receive a call from superior within 24hrs-48hrs, still we are waiting for the call. There is existing pipeline in the building premises the technician has to come and visit the place and set the new connection. Its been 3months now for the complaint.

Requesting for solution for the same at earliest.

    We registered our complaint on Mahanagar Gas customer number as good as 8times in a row. Everytime we call they take our complaint but do not respond back. We get a patent reply saying within 24hours the team superior will call back but still we are awaiting for their reply.

    The technician was supposed to visit the house for new gas connection but its been 3months now no one has turned up. This is quite unethical and unprofessional. The existing premises already has gas connection the technician just has to visit the site and do the installation for our house.

    Requesting for a quick and easy way to get out of this,

      A few days back, we received our Gas bill which was 8072/-. We were surprised to see such a high bill because we are only a family of 2 people, cooking food only once a day.

      So we checked with our neighbors and other families living in the building. Their bill for cooking three times a day for a full-fledged family comes anywhere between 900 to 2000/3000/-. All of them said that there is some issue either with the meter or there is a gas leak.

      Also, once we received the bill of 8072/- a few days back, I started to check the meter reading. And I was SHOCKED! Please see details below.

      ISNT THIS VERY EVIDENT OF THE FAULT?

      Need to rectify the meter and make corrections in the bill ASAP. We are not entitled to pay for something that is faulty.

        I am continuesly complaing regarding over billing of my Gas Bill from Septmber 2022. After long they got RS, 401/- Deposit (which was suppose to be returned IF problem in Meter) for visit of technician, who came and confirmed that meter is leakage. after that on 4/5/23, they change the meter. But shockingly bill for May month is more then before. Now on customer care they are showing their inability to do anything further.
        So request your good selves to please do the needful.

          I have paid MGL bill via Amazon Pay on 01s May 2023 ..but on 20th May i get message from MGL bill is due and pending..Even after doing hundreds of followups calls, mail, chats with Amazon and MGL and giving all proofs that payment was successful from Amazon Pay, MGL is still working on the issue.
          Lot of my time is wasted to share all proofs with MGL..
          Now they have requested me my Financial Statement of 20 days..These MGL guys are not aware of any kind of security for requesting any Financial statement from customer...This was expected as this is a government il-literate organisation

          Very pathetic system of Mahanager Gas, Thane...

                I had called the customer care on 18.04.2023 at 4.36 and the executive Asha Shinde was very rude. She used abusive languages. Such cheap people are placed at customer centre. Are you paying them to abuse customer or to help customer solve their issues. This kindly of people should be asked to resign immediately.

                  Connection still pending

                      I used get the avg monthly bill of aroung 600/- per bill. In the month of Jan 23 MGL team has replaced the meter without me raising any complaint. They replaced the meters of all society members. Now, all members have started getting huge bills since then.
                      My last bill dated 25th April 2023 has the amount of Rs 3764/-, which is almost 6X of m regular bill
                      Pls look into this and do the needful to reduce the bill and replace with earlier meters.

                        I'm raising another complaint over https://www.consumercomplaints.in/mahanagar-gas-b102899#get-cl3427596

                        The issue has become worse now. I'm able to login with my number in the mobile app, however I see some stranger's connection along with mine. Different CA and BP number associated with a different name. Also when I look at the account details, its the details of the other person and not mine. Screenshots of the mobile app reflecting the discrepancy has been attached,
                        Further the change in name is still not reflecting when I logged in from the website on the desktop browser(tried different browsers still the same). Attaching the screenshot for that as well.

                        Please note, I got a call today from a person today who stated he looked at my consumer complain and he is from MGL helpdesk and the helpdesk engineer mentioned that the last payment I made was stuck in their gateway and because of that the issue has been occurring. To be honest, I'm not confident that the helpdesk engineer was able to corelate the GUI not being accessible and name not being changed in the database. The engineer mentioned that he will refund my previously paid amount and share a link over email, using that link I should pay the bill again. I highly doubt that this is going to resolve my issue. Please look into this problem on priority.

                            I had raised a request for name transfer and I got a reply that the name transfer is successful and processed. Screenshot of the mail attached. The website still shows the old owner's name and does not show my name. Screenshot attached.
                            Also, mobile app has stopped working abruptly. It prompts to input mobile number and then simply displays error occurred and further nothing happens.
                            Please look into these issues asap....

                            I Hiren M Visaria, an customer of Mahanagar Gas Ltd. My CA Number is[protected]. I registered for pineline connection on 6th March 2023. My workout number is [protected] and docket number is 7068399. I was told that person will come in 15 working days but its been 2 months no one has arrived.

                            Kindly look into the matter on urgent basis. If I dont get connection in this week i'll complaint in consumer court.

                              From last month's the usage of gas is too low.we are not using gas as much the meter amount is raised . It is very much disappointed the bill is too high
                              as u see my last gas bill and this time gas bill i would like to enquiry it i would like to check the meter once again and i am requesting to resend me the gas bill it would be highly appreciated .

                                Our building went for redevelopment and was demolished. Before that we vacated the premise and handed over the flats to the builder. Builder informed concerned authorities to disconnect mahanagar gas and adani electricity connections.
                                Mahanagar gas executive seem to have come and disconnected the supply and took away meters.
                                However despite two months gone by they are generating the bills and saying that meter is lost.
                                They are asking us to file police NC and affidavit for no fault of our own.
                                This is cheating by MGL.
                                They are expected to close the connection in system.
