We have installed mahanagar gas pipeline few months before and we are 5 members in our family. 4 out of 5 members comes home only at night so don't need much gas. Still we get excessive bill of around 3000 to 4000 RS bill every month. We made complaints many times but they don't take it seriously. Even our meter reading is too fast if we don't use it. The worst service ever and charges more even if not used. BP: [protected]
switch to LPG cylinder. I am also tired of MGL

    My bill is not generated from last few months BP No :[protected]. Tried calling customer care, I have been submitting the meter reading to customer care mail from last few months, but nothing happens. Pathetic customer care, they just give standard answers, no resolution. I have also raised a complaint yesterday.

    Please look into this urgently and generate a bill, I am fed up of following up on this.

      Refund of extra payment

      I am requesting for the refund of rs 4230/- paid extra for the gas reconnection on 3rd Oct, 2022. I have visited Mahanagar office in Thane and written many mails to [protected]@mahanagargas.com . The latest docket no is 7010756 & 7002798 .

      The support team has been requesting for the documents which i have send many time by mail, but the issue is not resolved. The concern department has not understood the issue.

        I am getting charged excessive bills every month though my flat is not occupied. My have emailed multiple times to [protected]@mahanagar.com but I have always received a revert that the request is still under process.

        Request to reverse the excessive bill and refund the excess amount paid....

        Supply of the whole society building gets frequently disrupted since last fifteen days causing immense inconvenience and torture.

          We received the bill of 4104rs after they changed the meter, our average bill for two months was 1500rs and 36 units for two months now the new meter shows the consumption of one month to be more than 40 units this is straight cheating, i want my meter to be replaced with a well calibrated one or give me my old meter bp no.             Averge bill is INR 350 for last 2+ years, his time it is INR 1577 for 2 months. Pl. have someone check meter.

              Regarding application number WG/0/90077/2022 made on 16th july2022 and BP number [protected], I wish to complain that despite 170 days past the application and connection charges being cleared, the connection is not been made. Several times request made on the customer care number still no action. they said wait time of 90 days, however it has been 80 days over and above the waiting time. I just got a mail giving me the WG number and nothing after that. How someone can imagine without a gas connection?
              kindly help to resolve the problem by send providing the new connection at ur earliest.

                  The flat was locked for years before being alloted by bank to me. I observe that the pipe from meter to gas stove is squeezed and likely to be puncture.

                  Need a visit by your technician and have the meter shifted to a safe location.

                    Hi,
                    My BP no. is [protected] and CA no. is[protected]. It's been for the last 2 years that the application for Gas pipe connection was given and all money paid but nobody came for laying the pipes. Meanwhile twice I received a letter that someone has visited the house but nobody was there.
                    I have been myself calling customer care and writing emails that we have been waiting for someone to visit but no one visited till date and a false statement is being made. Every time I am only getting assurance from the call center and being provided with reference nos. like 6822303 and 6898319.
                    Once when I refused to put the phone down until my problem is resolved, the reply from the call center was that connections can not be given to your flat due to its location( floor height). My flat is on the 6th floor and everybody has gas connections. I have recordings of all conversations but really don't know how to get the gas connection. Writing emails and talking to customer care isn't solving my problem.

                    Request to do something positive in this regard.

                      Ref : MGL CA #[protected] & BP # [protected].
                      consumer name : Mrs Dipti Suneet Kopra, staying at Kolshet Road, Thane west, MH State.

                      in the month starting from Dec21 / Jan-22 onwards, the gas consumption unit was high due to gas leakage, which was rectified on 13th Feb 2022 after raising an official complaint against docket # 6181316 and repeated follow-ups done with MGL over phone and emails.

                      Due to this gas leakage, my MGL meter unit reading was high in the previous bills raised by MGL and MGL billing decided to add Rs 2000 as security deposit due to high usage.

                      Kindly see below the video snippet as evidence of the gas leakage which was clicked by MGL support engineer who came to resolve the gas leakage issue on 13th Feb 2022.

                      The actual bill consumption units of the last 4 billing cycles ( 8 months) has been shared by me in the below email and table herewith which is normal usage and not high as considered by MGL.

                      as my usage is normal as per Indian residence family of 4 persons, i have been requesting MGL support team to waive Rs 2000 additional security deposit and also late payment charges as my complaint has not been resolved since last 4 + billing cycles i.e. 8 months, but they are not willing to understand & resolve the issue from 8 months.

                      hence i would request you to interfere here and get Rs 2000 + late penalty charges waive off and raise the bill as per actual usage of 556.

                          As before changing the meter our bill for 2 months used to come 500-800 rs in this range (meter number[protected]. But when the meter is changed(meter number- [protected]) our bill and meter unit is coming double. For 2 months they gave a bill of 2000 rs from June.

                          We think this meter is Faulty. First of all there was no need to change the meter. I want to know why the meter is changed.

                          I have made a complaint in the call centre on 29 oct 2022 My complaint number- 6754675. I got a call on 31 oct 2022 from number [protected] name sushil mishra said he doesn't do the work for bill complaint and said he is cancelling the complaint without visiting.

                          Give me the meter manufacturing company name, BIS standard certificate, is the meter measuring device celebration done?

                            Our building went for redevelopment in Feb-2022. Our MGL gas meter were disconnected and submitted to MGL office by builder in Feb-2022 itself and we got a receipt of the MGL receiving the same. But MGL is still generating GAS consumption bills and asking money to pay. According to them they disconnected the meter in June-2022 and hence we need to pay the bill while the meters were removed in Feb-2022 with a confirmation receipt from MGL that they have received the meters.

                            A complete FRAUD case of false/fake bills generations and even customer support and Billing department people of MGL are involved in this.

                                For the following billing periods my PNG bills were based on assessed readings:
                                14/10/2021-13/12/2021
                                14/12/2021-13/02/2022
                                14/02/2022-13/04/2022
                                14/04/2022-13/06/2022
                                The total assessed consumption was 56 units, whereas actual consumption was only 3 units.
                                My wife and I were out of Mumbai for most of the above period due to Pandemic conditions.
                                Both o[censored]s were also infected and had to be isolated for a total period of about a month. Due to these reasons, we could not respond to your bills until June ’22.
                                The actual consumption as billed for the period 14/06/2022-13/08/2022 was 6 units.
                                You were kind enough to agree to waive the delayed payments charges and late fees, vide your ref But the recent bill has not given effect to this waiver.
                                Hence I request you kindly review the bill for Aug 22 and give effect o the waiver of these late fee charges which total up to Rs. 351.29

                                  We called a for gas repair technician via Utban Company late night on 17 / 08 / 2022 on suspicions of gas leak / smell emitting either from the cylinder / cooktop with 4 Burners.

                                  Mr. Sagar {Gas Safety Service Co. - Authorised MGL Vendor} arrived and partially fixed the problem.

                                  He changed 3 Gas Cock's with our permission at Rs. 550 each.
                                  However, without informing / being permitted he changed Brass Nozzle at Rs 980. We feel we were unnecessarily looted.

                                  We strongly believe the problem has not been solved yet. The smell of gas still persists. He promised and assured us to call him if we were not satisfied.

                                  We have been repeatedly trying to contact Mr. Sagar ([protected]) to come again and access the situation. We also seeked his help to cjange the 4th Gas Cock. But this time around he seems absolutely unprofessional. He has been giving silly excuses and strangely avoids visiting us again.

                                  He is an utter unprofessional and a complete "liabilty" for a large & reputed company like MGL. He must be summoned at once by those in power and taken to task for his conduct by being unethical.
