    I did a round trip booking from Bangalore - Kolkata and return at Make my trip.com. I always check multiple times before confirming any online booking. To my surprise and shock, when I got the booking confirmation, the dates were simply swapped. The return journey from Kolkata to Bangalore was shown as the onward journey and vice versa.I reached out to make my trip agent as well as registered the complaint on their web site. The complaint id number is[protected]. They assured me that they will look into this issue on prior it and share with me the log files of my booking. If the mistake is made at their end, they will reimburse me the penalty (incurred during cancellation of the wrong booking) as well as do the fresh booking for me without any addl. cost. I have been following up with them for almost 10 days now, have done multiple escalations on their web site but am yet to get the Log file. They told me the wrong booking was done by me but they have not shared the log file to provide the evidence. To me, this delay in sharing the details and not being transparent is like hiding the facts and cheating the consumer. It appears, they are trying to make money first through (wrong) bookings, then through cancellations and again through fresh bookings. Please suggest how consumers like us can get such issues addressed.

    No response received from make my trip yet. The issue was escalated to their management in their website and the message states" will be resolved soon".
    In one of my interaction with the their call center agent, she kept me on hold for almost 20 minutes stating that the log file is taking time to download (not sure what systems they were using). Eventually, she suggested to disconnect and confirmed that I will get a call back and will also get the log file of the booking withing 6 hrs.

    It is almost 2 days now and there is no call back from them nor any trace of any log file.
    Same thing happened with me. Their APP has bug. I have shared the video of app showing them the correct date and wrong flight combinations. They still are not ready to accept. Its over 4 days now. Its all SCAM.

      Dear Sir, I was supposed to travel from Chennai to Cairo on the 4th of Dec with Gulf Air but unfortunately the flight got cancelled due to the Chennai floods so I changed my flight to the 8th of Dec. So I was supposed to travel to Cairo from Chennai but before the flight took off I received an email 24hrs before the flight from Gulf Air saying that the flight is cancelled. I have attached the email which was sent from Gulf air. Due to this cancellation I had booked another flight from Bangalore and I couldn't show up in Chennai for the 8th Dec flight with Gulf Air and later the flight was operational and it took off. I can't blame anyone for this as it was due to the heavy floods in Chennai. But I was charged a huge penalty where I should have been refunded some amount of the total fare.             Ref : Booking ID: IN1512B7S002076 FD154- Chennai to Bangkok- 06/12/2015 – 22:30 SG096- Bangkok to Chennai-11/12/2015 – 03:55 I am using make my trip since couple of years for international flights, National Hotels and international Hotel booking as of now I was so happy to with Make my Trip Services and very loyal discounts. But I have to change my view because of below. I made international Flight booking MAA/BKK/MAA. Due to heavy Rains in Chennai Airport has been closed. Air Asia confirmed all flights cancelled and passenger will get full refund. Above mentioned booking id contains Air Asia and Spice Jet. Due to single booking Make my trip cancelled full booking and confirmed full refund amount 13, 328/- will be credited back my account. You may verify all my telephone conversations at your end since 04/12/2015. Due to your consultants confirmations I made my fresh bookings with Jet airways (Mum- BKK) and Spice jet (BKK – MAA) same flight using make my trip (IN1512B7S042649 - SG096- Bangkok to Chennai-11/12/2015 – 03:55) With great difficulty and several follow-ups I received refund of INR 2, 022-00 towards Spice Jet (BKK-MAA) and I didn’t get any refund for Air Asia Flight (MAA-BKK). I did requested many times to speak to Supervisors/ Managers, Every consultant said supervisor will call back with 24 hours, which is not happening as of now. I requested to provide legal department numbers and voice recordings and consultants are not advising. Whenever I call just they keep hold for 20 to 30 min and call will be disconnected after some time. I strongly believe make my trip is not willing answering any questions. After several follow-ups Call trace also successfully completed and started pushing one department to another departments, which is not true. You may please see the below some of conversation comments. Call reference[protected] dated 13/12/2015 - Sumedha – She said Air Asia Refund process has to be stated with fill up some kind of application form. Call reference[protected] dated 14/12/2015 – Harman Singh – He understood the complete case and raised request for call trace. Call reference[protected] dated 16/12/2015 – Sanobia – She said 2, 022/- full and final refund. Air Asia is not refundable flight. You may please notice the conflicts between your consultants. I did spoke to AirAsia Flight when the time of cancellation, they confirmed full refund for Chennai issues. I strongly believe make my trip will take necessary actions will resolve my concerns.               My id of booking is in1511b6s030607, booked trip to darjiling and gangtok for 6 days with rs 69, 999 rs.
              The flight to bagdogra get cancelled, we called to makemytrip for alternative by train, but they said "we can not do anything for this case you have to go yourself to the destination, we can not do anything abt flight alternative or can not support to reach" also the person of make my trip "sohaib pathan" and "manisha" from accounts dept suggested to cancel the trip and will inform the refund.
              From delhi airport i returned to my home, and i got mail of trip cancellation with refund of only 20, 000 rs. Thi cancellation refund amount did not informed to me and cancelled my trip themself.
              Now i called to sohaib pathan and manisha, but since 7 days continuously they give same answers "we sent mail abt refund we will get back to you" but no one will call back abt th complaint.

              I lost my 50, 000 rs in this trip, where i called to the hotels they give full refund to makemytrip by hotels sumit herritage at gangtok and darjiling, also spice jet gave all refund amount.

              But makemytrip did not gave me the money of refund. Please please give me my refund and also enquire 2 persons might misuse my money names "sohaib pathan" wh booked my trip and "manisha" of accounts who cancelled my trip and did not provide refund also not even attending the calls. Or not giving any info abt the refund now.

              After this complaint I received only 6000 Rs as the Refund Amount.

              Please verify that I have paid 69999 Rs for the trip. and I have received only 26000 as refund till now.

              Also when I called to your Customer office for the details of refund, all will say that I will send you. But I have not received any mail about the details as where the money is deducted by you.

              I would like to say that you have not provided any service when I was in trouble at Delhi airport, no any alternate way was given to reach destination, you can verify the call details also.

              Spice jet and all the Hotels gave full refund amount to you, then why you have not given me the refund amount which you have received. also whenever I ask this question that where the money is deducted No one is answering also no any details shared. I got call from the Sumit Heritage Hotel and he told they have gived full Refund amount to Make My trip and you will receive from them.

              Also I got SMS from SPice jet that the Full amount is refund as it was mistake by them. So why I have received only 26000 Rs amount as refund ? (I paid 69999 Rs for Trip) where all Money goes?? why I have not received any Refund till now????

                Greetings to Make My Trip, Bad Feed Back of Hotel:[protected],[protected],[protected], Booking ID: IN1508B4S221788 Date of Booking:[protected] Travel Date: 16 Nov. to 22 Nov. Destination : KERALA (7Days 6Night) Agent: Priyanka Duggal, Vishal Sharma I am thankful to MMT for Planning a trip for me. There are certain things which we want to highlight On 18 Nov. 2015 @1.00 pm, we check in Indrapratham House Boat in Alleppey which was suppose to be 5 Beded AC House Boat. The problems which we faced in houseboat are: 1. Room amenities was pathetic, towel- bedsheet was too dirty, bathroom window was broken 2. Food was not upto the mark, chapati was totaly uncooked, they prepared the food atleast 2hour before serving 3. AC not started till 8.45pm 4. Many time we ran out of tab water in house boat 5. No hot water for bathing 6. No extra bed provided We contacted Indrapratham House Boat Managers (Mr. Sudhir & Mr. Sunil), they denied to come to see the real condition of the house boat. We contacted MMT (Mr. Arinder Pal Singh) had a word with Indrapratham House Boat manager, but then also managers denied by saying this is the thing they offer, do what ever you want to do. Moreover its not permitted to run a houseboat at night time, but when we said that we will complaint to MMT for your servies which you have offerred to us, House Boat staff tried to scremed us by starting the house boat @9:15pm I called atleast 15times to Indrapratham House Boat Managers, but they denied to help us or to provided us better service. Mr. Sunil came to visit us at the time of checkout, we forced him to see the real condition. Houseboat was one of the main attraction of our Kerala Trip, but it turns out to be the worst day our life, neither we had proper food nor we had proper place to sleep. We want Make My Trip to refund us the House Boat Charges, as Indrapratham House Boat offered the pathetic services. We even had a conference call with Mr. Sudhir (Manager) & Mr. Arinder Pal Singh (MMT), but on that call Mr. Sudhir was full of arrogance & was not listening to any of our problems Attach are some pictures of Indrapratham House Boat which we board & a copy of Guest Report (Complaint) which we filed to them. We request MMT to take action againt the Indrapratham House Boat as soon as possible & refund us our amount. Please go through the attach file Since last one month my query is unresolved, I have contacted MMT several times & every time I asked to wait for 24hr but non of the MMT executive has got back to me in spiluted time frame. Moreover I am unsatisy with MMT behaviour for this case.                   Booking id - IN1505B1S040233 I did book an international flight for me and my fly which I wanted to reschedule. The modify booking option on the website was disabled so called the customer care and it has been worst experience. In the first 2 calls, customer care agent told me they can't access the airline's website to see the fare difference and even advised me to speak to airline directly. Airlines said there shouldn't be an issue in finding fare difference and termed the excuse as lame. Further in subsequent call to mmt, I have been told that I can modify to a date no later than 4 months however they couldn't explain me the reason. Few more calls and then a conference with the airline was required for them to let me know that this is a ISR rule associated with booking date however several international calls made to airline and mmt already made my life difficult. The only option remained was to cancel the booking which the representative advised me, would take 5 working days to refund. I went ahead with cancellation on 20th Dec and today being the 4th day I realized that mmt website is showing ticket as cancelled since 20th and airline's website says it is not. I called up airline and they said the ticket is still active. Now mmt customer care has confirmed that there is some issue and it appears the ticket is not cancelled yet. And they would call me and advise. This is not helping me as I have to book the tickets for another date and waiting for the refund. The fare of the ticket I'm planning to book has increased and on the other mmt is keeping me waiting.

                  After several calls, I have received refund amount of Rs 37, 052 when I have been told a figure of Rs 59, 698.00 as you can see in some of the attachment shared. I have asked for cancellation based on the figure told to me and it was even shared with me in few emails but when I received the refund, its a way less. The customer care don't have any explanation and simply say they have referred the issue to concerned department and then goes quiet for days.. worst service, I regret.

                  I have received an email from makemytrip stating that it was a technical glitch and then in their defense says "The refund amount is indicative and the actual amount may vary". Is this justified ? I can understand if the variation is due to some discount, offer or exchange rate variation but this is massive difference. I wouldn't have opted for cancellation if I was made aware that I will not get even half of what I paid.

                  How can I justify the break up provided to me in email and through phone which now you say as technical glitch ? How would you compensate my loss ? and the stress you have given ?

                  So one should never trust your customer care representative, your system and website and email confirmations ?

                  I have received email from makemytrip stating that it was a technical glitch and then in defense says "The refund amount is indicative and the actual amount may vary". Is this justified ? I can understand if the variation is due to some discount, offer or exchange rate variation but this is massive difference. I wouldn't have opted for cancellation if I was made aware that I will not get even half of what I paid.

                  How can I justify the break up provided to me in email and through phone which now you say as technical glitch ? How would you compensate my loss ? and the stress you have given ?

                  And we cannot trust your representative on phone, your system, website and even the confirmation email ?

                    I had booked 12 tickets at 09/12/2016 using MakeMyTrip website and Rs.54192 has been taken from my bank account. Issue 1: Instead of 12 only 5 tickets were booked In your website after booking it was shocking to see only 5 tickets were booked and it showed the booking cost was Rs. 23, 980. Don't know what happend to the rest of the amount. Issue 2: After considering the above total messup from Makemytrip decided to cancel the 5 tickets for which we reached the customer care and explained the issue in length. The makemytrip customer executive had assured me I will be getting refunded Rs. 54192 completely. It is very disappointing to see that this has not happend yet. Its been 16 days since this incident happend. Due to this I am having sleepless nights and my day to day activity is completely disturbed. I would request you to expedite ASAP. They have Promised Refund my full amount Rs.54192, but still i am not getting my Travel planning not able to make confirm. please Take action on Make My Trip.                     I'm waiting for the refund with reference to Booking ID NF[protected]P01 and its 19 days and I am still waiting for the complete refund.

                    Your agents and supervisors have promised me a complete and full refund asap. But I am receiving approval for part payments, I need full refund only and not partial or part payments. Only if the amount is refunded in full I can book tickets for my travel.

                    Please initiate complete refund of 54192/- rupees and as soon as possible. There are so many offers being missed because of non availability of cash and fund, from online agents and sources.

                    Im waiting for the refund for the MakeMyTrip Booking ID NF[protected] has not been done completely.

                    Total Amount Debited is Rs.54192 and amounts refunded are Rs.4560 and Rs.15820

                    Im not even getting any positive or correct response from makemytrip I had been calling daily and absolutely no response or feedback from your side. Makemytrip promises to callback more than 20 times and there is not even a single instance that you have called me, Im really frustrated. I am escalating this issue with the consumer forum by evening today.

                    Total amount to be refunded is 54192 and amount refunded till date is 20380 my balance amount of 33812 is still pending for a long time from your end.

                    Kindly refund the full and balance amount of 33812 at the earliest.

                      Booking ID: IN1510B5S072765 refer above booking ID, I have made full payment of around 86, 000 based on email from Manish. Whatever code he has asked me to enter during payment, i have made it accordingly and he confirmed too. Even during my follow up he was confirming me the cashback will certainly come after 45 days. I keep on waiting till 2.5 months. When i again followed up and i came to know that Manish has resigned from company. My case was forwarded to Mr. kunal. After checking in system, he told that i have not applied the code which is not possible as i am getting the installments of 3 months which could have not come in case i have not opted any code. Is this any scheme of Make mytrip to grab my cashback or it was merely a trap to convince people for booking the package. Now everytime i make call to Makemytrip, i was forced to speak to new person. Till the last minute it was mentioned as December and suddenly a big change in the voucher. This is error which needs to be rectified by makemytrip.                           Hi I made a booking with makemytrip for a flight from Kolkata to Pune for 3rd April 2016 at 9.35 pm. The money got deducted but the ticket did not get processed and it showed an online error message. I got a message at 9.42 pm and 9.49 pm from Makemytrip.com that they have not received the amount from the bank and the ticket is still not processed. Finally at 10.00 pm, I initiated another booking - this time from my mobile app. At 10.02 pm my second amount got deducted and I also got the message with a PNR number. Then at 10.06 pm, i got another message with another PNR number. They booked two flights in the same route. Now. if I am trying to cancel it they are asking for a cancellation fees of INR 2100. When I raised a call with the customer care they state that it is my mistake that I went ahead with the second booking. I should have waited for 45 minutes and makemytrip is not at fault. Getting an error message while booking online is very common and generally the money gets refunded but treating a customer in such a pathetic way and charging him unnecessary is a gimmick which they have initiated.                           Every time I call the customer care they ask for all the details once again. Once a girl forgot to keep me on mute - I heard the entire conversation - they know all the details but the manager is asking to prolong the call by asking again. Is this how you treat your customer? Everytime they are coming up with a new excuse. Now they are saying watch timings can be different since I shared the SMS screenshot with times.

On 01.12.2015. I have received an email stating... ""At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you regarding cancellation and delay in response. With reference to your e-mail with the Booking ID NP[protected], we would like to inform you that as checked ticket is non-refundable in case of cancellation for flights and for Hotel booking is also is non-refundable if you cancel within 2 days from check-in date. For any further assistance we are available round the clock on our toll free numbers. You could also write to us through reply email or visit us at www.MakeMyTrip.com. We value your business with us and look forward in assisting you with all your travel plans. Yours Sincerely, Jyoti Chouhan Team- We Care"" Due to obvious fact that, the customer care has messed up due to their negligence by not working on this ticket on time; they have provided me this resolution. Since then I have been escalating this service request to provide me a proper resolution & refund in this case. The escalation system is a total waste of time. I have escalated it more than 10 times now & the request is still at first escalation. Please refer to the attached where the Customer Care rep. Navpreet Kaur has always been assigned once it is escalated. But its funny that the request will be assigned back to me. When I have luckily spoken to a competent Customer Care Tushaar he admitted that, MakeMyTrip department has forgotten to treat the Request & that is the reason of this delay & it will corrected in 72 working hours. Till date I still have no resolution. This is fraudulent tactic on the escalation. All the track of the service request is still online & I have made a .pdf which unfortunately I'm unable to attach. Even today, I have spoken to Abhisehk a Customer care guy who told me that he will write to the concerned department & I will receive a call or resolution in 24 Hours.

                              Make my trip is the worst agency ever!! We booked a room in Ooty paying 6000/- for 2 days in advance. When few hours were left to reach the place makemytrip executive calls up and tells that the room is unavailable and escaped. We literally called more than 30 times, we had to wait in que for 15 min each and no one picked the call. And those who picked said they can not do anything. We reached 10pm and we had no place to stay. Disgusting and shameless agency. I have told this to all my friends and they said they had similar experience. On top of that we had to wait and call hundreds of time to get our money refunded. Losers!!

But thereafter i got telephonic message from your call center[protected] that this trip was cancelled due to some bus problem itself and advised to book my ticket in another service.                                   We booked the following tickets, through MakeMyTrip on 2nd November, 2015 - 1. Goa To Hyderabad - Flying date - 19th December, 2015 - Indigo Flight Number 6E-381 for Prachi Gupta 2. Hyderabad to Goa - Flying date - 03rd Jan, 2016 - Air India Flight Number AI-513 for Prachi Gupta However, this is the harrowing EXPERIENCE that my sister-in-law and wife had to go through today - 1. Prachi reached airport at around 1:30 for her flight at 3:30 2. She went to the counter to get the boarding pass 3. The attendant at the counter was almost RUDE in saying that the booking had been cancelled. As if we are STUPID to come to the airport for a cancelled booking. 4. Prachi calls up her sister (my wife) to inform her of the situation. We quickly huddle and decide that it is best to get a seat blocked and get new tickets booked. 5. We somehow manage to pay for the fresh ticket as we weren't even prepared for this scenario. 6. My wife gives a call to Indigo to understand how the booking could have been cancelled. Indigo Rep. tells her that the booking was cancelled by the Agency (MakeMyTrip) in this case. 7. My wife immediately calls MakeMyTrip, to understand why the ticket was cancelled. MMT seems clueless about it all. They have no understanding or communication of how the ticket got cancelled. 8. We start losing patience at this point and thus we request for a three way conference call with the MMT and Indigo executives on the call. Three way conf. call happens - 1. MMT and Indigo accuse each other of not sending the communication about the cancellation and what not. This time, however, the Indigo rep. flips and says that the ticket was cancelled using the Indigo's website. 2. This comes as a surprise to us as obviously we did not cancel this ticket. 3. Indigo confirms that they sent a communication to MMT for this cancellation and MMT apparently did not notify us (my wife's email address in this case). I am currently on a business trip to the US and I called up the Indigo Customer Care to understand how the ticket got cancelled - Indigo rep. tells me the same exact story - The ticket was cancelled using our Website and we cannot do anything about it. Bottomline - We (me, my wife or my sister-in-law) DID NOT Cancel this booking. MMT says that they DID NOT either. Then, the question is, who could have cancelled this booking? Apparently, the IP address used for this cancellation was - 85.9.20.151. This IP address belongs to Romania. Can you please explain how a Romanian IP address was used to cancel a ticket which none o[censored]s initiated cancellation for? 1. Indigo and MakeMyTrip team to investigate why the cancellation communication was note sent to us, even if this ticket was cancelled through Indigo's website As a follow-up, I have the following comments for both Indigo and MMT's service on this issue - 1. The Indigo representative on the ground, that my sister-in-law interfaced with, needs to be taught basic Customer Care empathy. I believe it is widely lacking in Indigo's team right now. Indigo team, over the years, has become extremely unsympathetic of the customer's needs. 2. MakeMyTrip needs to ensure that better communication is established with the customer in such cases.

                                    I was trying to reschedule a flight I had booked through Makemytrip and during the process they had deducted an amount of Rs.2143 but did not reschedule the flight. Later I had contacted MMT over phone and instead of Rs.2143 I had to paid around Rs.5000 to reschedule the flight. Later I had raised a complaint on 06 Nov 2015 to refund the amount deducted through their site for which they did not respond even after regular follow ups. Again I contacted their customer care over phone and on 25 Nov 2015 he assured me that my issue would be sorted out within 05 days. On 05 December I got a message from MMT that they had initiated a refund of Rs.653 and the remaining amount would be paid as MMT points. I again raised complaint asking for the entire amount but till date they did not respond. From my experience of dealing with different travel sites I can unconditionally say that this is the worst travel site I have ever seen.

                                      Simple. On 12th Sept 2015, we made return flight booking for two people (melbourne to kolkata) departing on 13th Jan 2016 and returning on 30th Jan 2016. On 19th Nov 2015, we wanted one of the travellers to depart Melbourne on 30th Dec instead of 13th Jan. So we called up Makemytrip and they advised to login to the website and click on 'Modify Booking', which we did while on call to them. They advised not to worry about any info given and that at the end of the process, we will be given an appropriate change fee and details on the modified flight will appear on our itinerary. This did not happen. What did happen was the website created a new booking instead. So now we have paid twice for one person to fly from melbourne to kolkata. And because the new flight is a seperate booking, the original rerturn flight will be cancelled when that traveller does not board the original booked departure flight, as it was a return flight purchase. So now we have to purchase another return flight as well! So there is $3000 AUD taken from us by makemytrip. We emailed and escalated and called many times and they do not care, nor will they let us speak to a supervisor. We called Singapore airlines and visited their office, as they are the airline we are flying with. They felt terrible for us and advised us never to use makemytrip, as they constantly have passengers complaining about them and being frauduently conned out of lots of money by them. We have learnt that unfortunately there is nothing you can do once you purchase something through makemytrip. Theyhave proved they do not adhere to any regulations or codes enforced by Indian travel policies and they have no problem just ignoring the fact they have taken thousands of hard earnt dollars from us and just ignoring the plees for understanding. They clearly do not have any complaint handling procedures outside of a few fields on their website and standard responses. Decision now is how far do we go to take this further.

                                        I feel cheated and played by some fraud or con-man. Find the events in chronological order: 1. On Dec. 2, I asked for a package to Jaisalmer from MMT sales manager (Kapil Tiwari). 2. While trying to customize a 3-day package, I initiated the discussions with following demands: Dec. 30th night at Jodhpur, Dec 31st night at desert camp in Jaiselmer and 1st jan at Hotel in Jaiselmer. (mails as proof) 3. Initially he provided me packages as per my demands and provided the final cost of INR 45000 but that were not falling in my budget 4. After one week, I asked him to share the same package for same dates excluding cab-service (the cost for cab shared by him earlier was INR 16000). 5. So he shared a package at cost of INR[protected] = 29000). As per my discussions, the package should had all the same dates (i.e. hotels on 30th Dec and 1st Jan while desert camp for 31st night) 6. I made the payment of INR 15000 against advance on Dec. 16th for the package of INR 29000. 7. On Dec 17th, I received the itinerary from him with the dates as changed - Dec. 30 in Jodhpur, Dec, 31 in Hotel at Jaiselmer (instead of desert camp) and Jan 1st at desert camp (instead of hotel) 8. I immediately sent him a mail to correct the dates. 9. He replied me that the package has been booked for these dates only and there can't be any changes done. 10. I then realized that there had been a small glitch in the whole incident. Kapil Tiwari mailed me the details of this package a day ago with changes in the dates (dates different than what I had asked for). He had made this change without asking me, without informing me, without notifying it verbally or in mail) 11. Now he is saying that it's my mistake as I had not read the mail properly and its mistake on my part that I din't see the change in the dates over the last mail. For the whole day on Dec. 17th, he kept on threatening me that my advance payment has been utilized and now there cannot be any change. I was made to feel helpless by him, i could realize that my trip had ruined by MMT by then. I am feeling cheated, it seems to me that I had dealt with some con-man or a fraud. I called at customer-support of MMT to escalate the issue, but didn't hear from any senior manager in 24 hours. I got the e-mail id of their manager, wrote a mail got an automatic reply that he was on leave. Got his mobile number, spoke to him, no resolution till yet. They are not refunding my money when I asked them that if you cant book the package for desired dates, just return the money.
