    Have been following up for almost 2 months now. They just say that they are contacting airlines for the refund. When I try to contact airlines directly, they tell me to contact the travel agent.

      Dear Sir/Madam, I did my booking from make my trip website for domestic air travel return Mumbai- Amritsar-Mumbai on the 24th December, 2015 for 26th December and return for 27th December but by mistake clicked on 27th January, 2016 for return Journey. Thereby i tried to cancel the ticket but it did not happen as the server was slow so i called up the customer care whereby i was told that the total cancellation charges for the return journey would be Rs1800+Rs300+Rs 200(offline cancellation charges) for which i gave a go ahead instruction and got the ticket cancelled. After cancellation i received a mail mentioning that the refund of Rs3480 had been credited to the credit card where as the amount told to me by the customer care executive was Rs.9180. I then immediately called back the toll free number and i was told that the balance amount would be reflected in 2-3 days time.
      And after that my ordeal started i generated around 16 reference IDs and was told each time that the refund process has been initiated and the accounts have cleared my refund and the amount would be transferred to my account in 2-3 days.
      And finally on Monday 18th Jan i got a refund of meagre amount of Rs 900 instead of Rs9180.
      Its been really taxing on my side to follow up with the customer care executives as they keep you on hold for so long .
      I request you to please look into the matter and please refund me back the balance amount.

        I am regularly complaining about my cashback and have told them I did in all 5 bookings and got cashback in 4 bookings but in one booking they have not given cashback of Rs 1500. They say you did not apply deal code. I told them that i did all 5 bookings very carefully and hence requesting them for rs 1500 cashback of booking id NF[protected]. Now they have blocked my email id and have given me tension of my life due to which my relation has become sour with person whose credit card i used for booking ( in which they have to credit back rs 1500). Instead of all this plead they have blocked me from registering complain on their service portal . I dont know where to ask for help for a customer who did as much as five bookings and is now treated like this.

        Sir please do not give vague anf hasty answers even for cashback in first booking I had to write mail and only after that you gave cashback. Also I am not Mr Sharma hence you are manipulating me now and this mail is proof itself. Further I have proof statement of that person whose credit card was used. By me as he was in front of me and MakeMyTrip is making my relation sour with him by not Giving my cashback. Also I made in all 5 bookings and in 4 bookings I successfully got cashback but this is left. Also ur toll free no. Is waste of time, no representative available. Last option is consumer court as That amount is outstanding on that credit card. so request you to be gentle and morally good. Pls read my mail again. Dear sir, pls go through my previously as below as I assure you that in all bookings deal code has been applied successfully and proof for that is that you have given cashback in all bookings except the last one. Also please note that the booking was made in front of the person who owns that credit card and he also reminded me today that I have applied deal code. Even he remembers that. Further if you see below number of bookings you may realise that all bookings were made only after reviewing your offer. Hence please expedite that cashback and also go through below mail and please do not let me down as my relation due to MakeMy trip may become sour with that person from whom I booked this trip.

        I assure you that I have succesfully applied the deal code at the time of booking (pls see the no. of bookings i did as below) since I had made in all a total of 2 flight tickets ( 2 person each ) and 3 hotel bookings from different citi bank cards and have sucesfully got the cashback for all bookings except this, hence request you to please expedite my cashback as I have an outstanding amount against that credit card which shall be paid by me only after receipt of cashback from Make My trip to respective citibank credit card account. For you records

Please expedite my cashback.

          BRIEF
          MakeMyTrip Charged me for a Return Ticket from Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai but just before boarding time, at the airport, GoAir refused to issue Boarding pass as my PNR did not appear in their system. It was important for me to leave for Mumbai on 16th Jan 2016 by the 8.40 pm flight. For this fiasco, I was forced to bear an additional cost of a new ticket as makemytrip refused to do anything immediately to rectify the situation and GoAir said they could only issue a new ticket. This is aside from the amount of mental harassment and stress they caused by their behaviour. Makemytrip Customer Centre person, a Mr.Rahul (rahul.[protected]@makemytrip.com) stated that they will get back to my complaint within 48 hrs (Complaint #[protected] but the time is up and there has been no response or action at all.

          THE BOOKING DETAILS
          On 7th Januray, I booked a return flight through Makemytrip Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai. MakeMyTrip Booking ID -NF[protected]; Invoice No. NF25898. MMT charged me Rs.7622/- including Rs.400/- as convenience fee. (Ticket and Invoice attached). Both the Mum-Del and Del-Mum legs had the same PNR 5Z7SQL. I had made part payment of this through Credit card and part payment by redeeming some Payback points.

          THE FIASCO
          On 13th January, I flew to Delhi without any hassle on the above PNR. On 16th January, 1 hour before the flight, the GoAir desk (a polite and trying-to-be-helpful Ms.Ranita) stated that the PNR 5Z7SQL was not there in their bookings for the Mumbai 8.40pm flight. Further, that that my name was listed under the Cancelled Tickets list on a ‘different’ PNR, VK1EA5 with the comments ‘Balance Due, Auto Cancelled’. I was taken aback and insisted that she probe on this. First she tried to send me off to a MMT counter outside the Departure gate to sort it out. But that was closed. Their Back Office confirmed that PNR 5Z&SQL was unlisted as they had not received payment from MMT thereby shrugging any responsibility of error on their end. Only solution they could offer was to buy a new ticket (of a higher cost) Rs.4372.

          Meanwhile I called MMT Customer Service, who was extremely unhelpful, put me on hold forever and refused to connect to his superior or furnish a useful email id except a ‘[protected]@makemytrip.com’. Both MMT and GoAir were passing the buck to each other (Mr.Rahul and Ms.Ranita), refusing that the error was on their end without due checking. Ms. Ranita informed me that they had an exactly identical case the previous week with another passenger booked through MMT. Finally after 45 min-1 hour of badgering for action, the MMT person stated that he will raise a complaint but actually did not as he could not give me the Complaint ID when asked. Only then he raised the Complaint ID[protected] stating ‘Website Issue’. (Email Attached) I pushed him to tell me what action I should expect. He verbally responded that I will get a call back on this matter within 48 hours and that ‘if the fault was on their end, they will refund the cost of the ticket’ When asked who will pay for the trouble caused to the consumer, I was then told that MMT will pay back the cost difference of ticket. Eventually I had to buy a new ticket from GoAir (thankfully the flight was delayed by 30 mins) for which I had to pay again last minute.

          Overall this was an extremely harrowing experience. My money Rs.3811 is stuck with either MMT or GoAir who are both conveniently passing the buck between each other, blaming each others technical systems at the backend for the error.

          As a customer who flies extremely often, I am expecting quick action and resolution and advise extreme caution in using such travel agents and airline services for your travel.

          Received another email from MMT chandan.[protected]@makemytrip.com that they will revert in 2 days. Another 48 hours.

          And of course, that they regret the inconvinience. Absurd.

          Let's see how many 48 hours they will take before they return my hard earned money or before I end up posting this everywhere else.

            Hi, I had two bookings NF[protected] & NF[protected] with cost of Rs 5255 and Rs 8217 amounting to total cost of Rs 13472.
            This was booked at Makemytrip Office at Chennai Airport.
            This was cancelled due to chennai floods and full amount was supposed to be credited back to my credit card through which I have booked. But I have not received the credit yet. Please check the same - I had already raised a complaint online with no response yet after multiple escalations and also directly called the Chennai Airport Agency.

            The cancellation has been directly submitted at the Makemytrip Chennai Airport office but still no progress even after 50 days. Kindly address the same ASAP

              Hi,

              I booked a domestic holiday package with MakeMyTrip with "Booking ID IN1508B4S40407" for Kerala. The trip was in last week of October 2015.
              Cab did not arrive at Cochi Airport as promised, after i reached kerala. I spent 3 hours waiting at Airport and calling "Make MyTrip Customer Care". The Customer care asked me to take cab, and promised me that "MakeMyTrip" will reimburse the taxi bill.

              I am following up with the "MakeMyTrip" team for more than 75 days now, they did not refund the money till date.I have raised a complaint in their website "[protected]", which is not resolved till date.

                Dear Team, I have not been able to use money from MyWallet since the last 2 bookings. The expiry date however gets highlighted all the time. Also what is the lead time of your giving the cashback on the code application. A sincere request to set your communication channels working. The only information your toll free number gives is please book the 'flights through app'. Hope you will look at it at the earliest.

                  I booked thailand package for novemeber due to some family problem we had to cancel it. The refund what i receive is only half as per the details given by makemytrip. Thereafter I opened three service requests no reply from make my trip. Very worst experience. there is no way we can reach the higher level. Two of my service requests reaced the management levels. Which was again reveresed back and no action has been taken.

                        I have booked ticket with MakeMyTrip with booking Id 'NF[protected]' dated 1st Dec 2015 for the amount 8581/-, of which I have used 2000/- worth eVoucher. The transaction has failed for some reason, and they have refunded only 6581/-. My 2000/- worth eVoucher is not refunded till now. I have been chasing MakeMyTrip 4-5 times.                           This is regarding booking Id IN1508B4S446600. I have booked an International Holiday package to Bali through "MakeMyTrip" on 11-Sep-2015, where I am entitled for 12.5% cash back within 21 days. It's now 4 months completed but still I didn't get my cashback which is supposed to be Rs 15000. I have raised this issue with Customer delight team, and send more than 20 mails but they are neither responding to my mails nor attending my calls, althought before going for the payment I personally visited Gurgaon office to make sure about this 12.5% cash back offer and I got the assurance that whatever is mentioned in the mail MakeMyTrip is entitle to give that no need to worry about that. I did the payment as directed by the travel expert who was taking care of this package and apply the deal code. But they said that their system didn't captrue the deal code, if it is so..then its the faliure of the system why would I bear this loss. Now the kind of the stress which has been created becuase of the attitude and ignorance of makemytrip it not at all accepted. This is unnecessarily creating mental pressure and every time I think of, where to reach out to get the solution. In my last conversation in last week of December, 2015 I called them again for the update luckly I got the response that there is some delay in process will update you within 2-3 days and today is 18 Jan, 2016 but there is no response and not even they are reply me on mail, again same attitude. This is my worst experience with Make My Trip. Below are few Ids I am try to communicate over mails and calls.                             I am Jinosh S Joseph, kerala, india i have booked a ticket on 03.01.2016 from kochi to abudhabi travelling date of 05.01.2016.i have done till payment.money got debited from my account and got the sms from the bank also, but i could not get the final ticket on said details. same time i called up the toll free number of makemytrip.com and they said that the money will be refunded within 48 hours. now it is almost 15 days and i have not received the money back.Reference no for the payment which i got NN[protected]P01 amount 16192 rupees.

Also, recieved confirmation just before arrival to hotel. But I didn't get any room and reported by owner that MMT hasn't released payment to them. This causes mental harrassment, suffering, waste of time and money. I was asked to book another room on my own. Despite of 11 hours of journey I searched room and get settled. Charges of this room was promised to be paid by MMT on email and phone call. But they didn't come back to me even after several attempt made from me. I would like to make a mental harassment case & file lawsuit against MMT in accordance to Indian Law.

                                I have not received the refund of tickets that were not provided to me for over 3 months now. I have provided them with all details regarding the transaction failure and yet there seems to be no response. They owe me around 4600 rupees and lost interest and extra booking charges due to technical glitches at their end.

                                  I have recently booked for flight+hotel through make my trip (booking id NP[protected]. Although I have inserted properly, their website did not take my co-passenger's name correctly. His full name is Johannes Martinus Smits, but in the booking "Smits" is omitted. I have called them and requested them to correct it (otherwise the airlines will create problems for us), but they are not helping. Olease help me so that they correct there mistake and we don't loose our money

They sent us a mail that it was booked using some wallet points which were not allowed and we will get our refund soon...since then it has been 2 months...when I call at there number they asked us to mail at [protected]@makemytrip.com..it has become our routine to call them and mail them daily and don't get any response...I am highly frustrated now..I could not make my travel because they canceled just three days before and now I am struggling to get my money back...it was 1000 Rs...then next step is to take the case in consumer court now..

                                        About my 12.5 % cashback on HDFC Credit card As discussed with ISH KUMAR, Before booking i already told him that if the EMI and discount is applicable for My package then you can do the booking. When i done the booking and pay the total amount of 72241/- rs with select 3 months EMI and put the code is HDFCEMI which he has given to me the same time. After at the same time i have received call from HDFC bank and they also told me that the EMI is not done after that i called ISH and told the same whatever i discussed with HDFC bank but ISH told me that "Don't worry Sir, the three months EMI process is already done and you will get the discount after 45 days". at the same time again i discussed about the discount and he told me that " Sir, you get the discount after 45 days and if the EMI and discount not happened then i will cancel this booking and refund your total amount 72242/- rs and do this booking again " But after that we have received the total 72241/- amount of credit card bill in month statement that means EMI and Discount hot done by ISH Kumar As per ISH KUMAR commitment - He need to provide the 12.5 % discount cashback on this paid amount (72241/-RS )."
