Sir, I feel cheated and played by make my trip. My booking with ref no NU [protected] payment for the same has been received/confirmed through email & SMS by you. with ref no NU [protected] payment of 1060.00+ Insurance 45.00 for journey by Mahindra Bus-which you have already received on[protected] at 16:33 and it was confirmed by you again by SMS. But thereafter i got telephonic message from your call center[protected] that this trip was cancelled due to some bus problem itself and advised to book my ticket in another service. It's make me puzzled at 11th hour of scheduled journey-However i booked to and fro Bhilai to Hyderabad in Kanker bus service through you. You might know all that. But please let me know Being a sensible Agency like you --is not your prime responsibility to inform me about refund By SMS or E-Mail.Till today i have not received money back in my account but why?     We booked the following tickets, through MakeMyTrip on 2nd November, 2015 - 1. Goa To Hyderabad - Flying date - 19th December, 2015 - Indigo Flight Number 6E-381 for Prachi Gupta 2. Hyderabad to Goa - Flying date - 03rd Jan, 2016 - Air India Flight Number AI-513 for Prachi Gupta However, this is the harrowing EXPERIENCE that my sister-in-law and wife had to go through today - 1. Prachi reached airport at around 1:30 for her flight at 3:30 2. She went to the counter to get the boarding pass 3. The attendant at the counter was almost RUDE in saying that the booking had been cancelled. As if we are STUPID to come to the airport for a cancelled booking. 4. Prachi calls up her sister (my wife) to inform her of the situation. We quickly huddle and decide that it is best to get a seat blocked and get new tickets booked. 5. We somehow manage to pay for the fresh ticket as we weren't even prepared for this scenario. 6. My wife gives a call to Indigo to understand how the booking could have been cancelled. Indigo Rep. tells her that the booking was cancelled by the Agency (MakeMyTrip) in this case. 7. My wife immediately calls MakeMyTrip, to understand why the ticket was cancelled. MMT seems clueless about it all. They have no understanding or communication of how the ticket got cancelled. 8. We start losing patience at this point and thus we request for a three way conference call with the MMT and Indigo executives on the call. Three way conf. call happens - 1. MMT and Indigo accuse each other of not sending the communication about the cancellation and what not. This time, however, the Indigo rep. flips and says that the ticket was cancelled using the Indigo's website. 2. This comes as a surprise to us as obviously we did not cancel this ticket. 3. Indigo confirms that they sent a communication to MMT for this cancellation and MMT apparently did not notify us (my wife's email address in this case). I am currently on a business trip to the US and I called up the Indigo Customer Care to understand how the ticket got cancelled - Indigo rep. tells me the same exact story - The ticket was cancelled using our Website and we cannot do anything about it. Bottomline - We (me, my wife or my sister-in-law) DID NOT Cancel this booking. MMT says that they DID NOT either. Then, the question is, who could have cancelled this booking? Apparently, the IP address used for this cancellation was - 85.9.20.151. This IP address belongs to Romania. Can you please explain how a Romanian IP address was used to cancel a ticket which none o[censored]s initiated cancellation for? 1. Indigo and MakeMyTrip team to investigate why the cancellation communication was note sent to us, even if this ticket was cancelled through Indigo's website As a follow-up, I have the following comments for both Indigo and MMT's service on this issue - 1. The Indigo representative on the ground, that my sister-in-law interfaced with, needs to be taught basic Customer Care empathy. I believe it is widely lacking in Indigo's team right now. Indigo team, over the years, has become extremely unsympathetic of the customer's needs. 2. MakeMyTrip needs to ensure that better communication is established with the customer in such cases.

      I was trying to reschedule a flight I had booked through Makemytrip and during the process they had deducted an amount of Rs.2143 but did not reschedule the flight. Later I had contacted MMT over phone and instead of Rs.2143 I had to paid around Rs.5000 to reschedule the flight. Later I had raised a complaint on 06 Nov 2015 to refund the amount deducted through their site for which they did not respond even after regular follow ups. Again I contacted their customer care over phone and on 25 Nov 2015 he assured me that my issue would be sorted out within 05 days. On 05 December I got a message from MMT that they had initiated a refund of Rs.653 and the remaining amount would be paid as MMT points. I again raised complaint asking for the entire amount but till date they did not respond. From my experience of dealing with different travel sites I can unconditionally say that this is the worst travel site I have ever seen.

        Simple. On 12th Sept 2015, we made return flight booking for two people (melbourne to kolkata) departing on 13th Jan 2016 and returning on 30th Jan 2016. On 19th Nov 2015, we wanted one of the travellers to depart Melbourne on 30th Dec instead of 13th Jan. So we called up Makemytrip and they advised to login to the website and click on 'Modify Booking', which we did while on call to them. They advised not to worry about any info given and that at the end of the process, we will be given an appropriate change fee and details on the modified flight will appear on our itinerary. This did not happen. What did happen was the website created a new booking instead. So now we have paid twice for one person to fly from melbourne to kolkata. And because the new flight is a seperate booking, the original rerturn flight will be cancelled when that traveller does not board the original booked departure flight, as it was a return flight purchase. So now we have to purchase another return flight as well! So there is $3000 AUD taken from us by makemytrip. We emailed and escalated and called many times and they do not care, nor will they let us speak to a supervisor. We called Singapore airlines and visited their office, as they are the airline we are flying with. They felt terrible for us and advised us never to use makemytrip, as they constantly have passengers complaining about them and being frauduently conned out of lots of money by them. We have learnt that unfortunately there is nothing you can do once you purchase something through makemytrip. Theyhave proved they do not adhere to any regulations or codes enforced by Indian travel policies and they have no problem just ignoring the fact they have taken thousands of hard earnt dollars from us and just ignoring the plees for understanding. They clearly do not have any complaint handling procedures outside of a few fields on their website and standard responses. Decision now is how far do we go to take this further.

          I feel cheated and played by some fraud or con-man. Find the events in chronological order: 1. On Dec. 2, I asked for a package to Jaisalmer from MMT sales manager (Kapil Tiwari). 2. While trying to customize a 3-day package, I initiated the discussions with following demands: Dec. 30th night at Jodhpur, Dec 31st night at desert camp in Jaiselmer and 1st jan at Hotel in Jaiselmer. (mails as proof) 3. Initially he provided me packages as per my demands and provided the final cost of INR 45000 but that were not falling in my budget 4. After one week, I asked him to share the same package for same dates excluding cab-service (the cost for cab shared by him earlier was INR 16000). 5. So he shared a package at cost of INR[protected] = 29000). As per my discussions, the package should had all the same dates (i.e. hotels on 30th Dec and 1st Jan while desert camp for 31st night) 6. I made the payment of INR 15000 against advance on Dec. 16th for the package of INR 29000. 7. On Dec 17th, I received the itinerary from him with the dates as changed - Dec. 30 in Jodhpur, Dec, 31 in Hotel at Jaiselmer (instead of desert camp) and Jan 1st at desert camp (instead of hotel) 8. I immediately sent him a mail to correct the dates. 9. He replied me that the package has been booked for these dates only and there can't be any changes done. 10. I then realized that there had been a small glitch in the whole incident. Kapil Tiwari mailed me the details of this package a day ago with changes in the dates (dates different than what I had asked for). He had made this change without asking me, without informing me, without notifying it verbally or in mail) 11. Now he is saying that it's my mistake as I had not read the mail properly and its mistake on my part that I din't see the change in the dates over the last mail. For the whole day on Dec. 17th, he kept on threatening me that my advance payment has been utilized and now there cannot be any change. I was made to feel helpless by him, i could realize that my trip had ruined by MMT by then. I am feeling cheated, it seems to me that I had dealt with some con-man or a fraud. I called at customer-support of MMT to escalate the issue, but didn't hear from any senior manager in 24 hours. I got the e-mail id of their manager, wrote a mail got an automatic reply that he was on leave. Got his mobile number, spoke to him, no resolution till yet. They are not refunding my money when I asked them that if you cant book the package for desired dates, just return the money.

            I made booking from Make My Trip mobile app for 1 day 1 night hotel stay in Pune. When I was doing the booking I read all terms and conditions and found that my city bank debit card is available for cash back. I made the booking and got message that within 21 days cash back amount will get credited to my account. Till now I haven't got the money. the booking was made on 11/3/2015. I have raised complaint on Make My Trip portal and following up with them over phone from last 2 weeks. Every time Agent pick ups the phone and keep asking me same booking details again and again. I have sent so many email however only getting an automated response, no one is bother about the issue. Till now I have not got any details from any agent. Today I requested for supervisor call and finally got it. The supervisor-Mohit is telling me a new story. They got email from City bank that few debits cards that ends with certain 4 digits will not avail for cash back amount. I asked for the details then he said that he can not disclosed that.If customers are not aware of which cards will not get the benefit how can the process will run smoothly. If card is not avail for the offer why it took 2 weeks to respond. The detailed information should be provided while booking so that customer can cross check if they would be avail for the offer. This is a good example of fooling the customer. Suddenly make my trip is asking me to get clarification from City bank. If I made the booking from Make My Trip why should I communicate with City bank now. I have wasted my 2 weeks getting the update, daily phone calls, so may emails, complaint on portal(escalated couple of times) till all agents were saying they are working with cash back team. Today supervisor is saying I will not get the cash back as they have internal understanding with city bank based on last 4 digits of debit card. They are not providing anything in writing. They are just fooling the customer and making their own rules as per their convenience to attracting customers initially and giving what they promised for. Please look in to this matter and I need cash back since City bank debit card was falling under all criteria at the time of booking to avail for the cash back. Attaching the message proofs and emails sent to Make my trip. Few make my trip agents disconnected my calls deliberately and wasted my 2 weeks without providing any updates.               I had to cancel my trip for personal reason which is on 28th Dec'15 to 1st Jan'16, now they are denying refund stating cancellation policy which was not intimated to me before booking and later I have made payment, received confirmation mail of this cancellation policy in bottom without my consent.(not sure how they are exercising this clause without customer agreement) 10000 rupees paid as part payment is now being denied for refund request ID IN1512B7S125949 They have not making acknowledgement to my calls which I asked in form of mails so that to understand raised cancellation request from my side...totally non transparent to customers and masked approach. I have decided to ask all my friends & relatives not to approach make my trip.

                I had booked 2 rooms (Delux Non A/C) for 2 nights at Vaibhav Residency, Tirupati for December 15th-17th 2015. The transaction date is November 11th 2015 for INR 2, 442. I had booked the hotel after looking at the photos online. However, when I reached there, I was shocked. The location was at a shady place. The building had no lift and we were allotted rooms on the 3rd floor. The rooms were stinking of cement and cigarette buds. The rooms were dirty and nothing like the photos online. WE DID NOT STAY THERE. We have been duped by makemytrip.com. We expect a full refund of our amount Rs 2, 442 plus compensation for the mental stress we faced. We have booked online on tripadvisor and other websites and never faced any issues. I advise everyone to never book using makemytrip.com. Extremely disappointed with this pathetic experience.

                  I cancelled a ticket on 7th of Dec and they were suppose to refund my money after 3 working days, 15 days passed still no refund and everytime i call they give new new date. this is a cheater company and playing around with our money. guys please never ever book ticket from makemytrip.

                    IT HAS BEEN 20 DAYS SINCE THE CANCELLATION. Everytime I call the customer care they say system is not working. Pathetic site system people. Not getting any resolution. They promise to call back bt nothing happens. No one calls back and on calling them back I get the same answer that system is not working. Such big company and system is down for past 20 days cant understand how they are running the business.

                      My booking with id:NU[protected] was successful.The payment for the same has been received by the brand 1050 INR/ticket. The booking was made for 2 tickets. After the payment the booking was shown confirmed but when i checked my ticket details it was without pnr and bus operator details.The price of the ticket on my next login was raised from 1050 to 3150/ticket by the brand leading to cancellation of my trip.

                        Hi, I had made a holiday booking from make my trip which i cancelled it as I could not travel due to unavoidable situation. Cancellation Processed Date: 24th Nov. 2015 Expected Refund Date: 3rd Dec. 2015 Refund Amount: 36473/- INR Booking id NL[protected]. The expected refund amount was 36473 but they have returned only 7942 rs as seen on my credit card statement.Total package was of 43000 from which only flight charges were to be deducted and rest amount needed to be refunded.                           I have booking from Chennai to Vizag on Dec 9th morning flight. On the 8th Dec, I have partially cancelled the ticket online. It showed a service request number. I didn't save the screen shot expecting that email would be sent with the cancellation request. Unfortunately, I haven't received the email. When I called up their contact centre to enquire about the cancellation, they told me that the couldn't see the cancellation request. I raised a complaint with MakeMyTrip directly, got a same response saying they couldn't see the cancellation request.

                            I made air ticket booking on makemytrip on 2 nov on which an offer was showing as get 1500 cash back after applying coupon code and use of citibank credit card.I did everything which was asked of me, duly waited for next 30 days but did not receive the cashback.Now their customer care is not accessible and on social media they wrote I have not entered coupon code, which i had entered I remeber clearly.I would request corrective actions to be taken and I shall not be cheated.

                              I tried to book flight tickets (2) from Vishakhapatnam to hyderabad on 12th of November -2015 and I used my friends Axis debit card for the same. I was charged but didn't receive any ticket, I then contacted the Makemytrip customer care executive and he said, the money has not reached them, and for that reason, they have not processed the ticket, and requested me to book another ticket, I then spoke to Axis bank guy, and he said, you can book another ticket, and we will get the money back from the merchant.

                              Then, on the same date, again I tried to book flight tickets (2) from vishakhapatnam to hyderabad, but the same thing happened. Now, it has been more than a month and Axis guys say, sir, they have the money, kindly talk to them, Makemytrip toll free is my nightmare to be precise, I need to spend minimum 15 mins listening to some recorded over and over to get to speak to some one, and they say, Sir, kindly send bank statement, etc etc to [protected]@makemytrip.com, which is also done long back.

                              Still, they have not returned the money. I fly frequently and not just me, my companies whole team and friends fly very often, since that day, I am actively campaigning against makemytrip and had never used this app for my self or others.

                              I will surely make my words appear on new papers in complaint columns and will drag the company to consumer court in case the money is not returned in very near future.

                              They have my 14000+ and god knows how many travelers like myself are being tortured by this nonsensical company. I will surely drag them to consumer court. It is just that I am very occupied with my office work, I didn't do anything yet.

                                I have been overcharged for a flight ticket from delhi to lucknow on vistara dated 11/12/15. I have been charged Rs 14593 whereas ticked was for Rs 11093 at Vistara. Please treat this as serious as I will be taking leagal action as I have all the bills with me.

                                  My booking ID is NN[protected].I was having my returning flight on 16/12/2015 from New Delhi to Nairobi but due some visa issue I could not able to take off.My ticket cost was Rs 33, 013 .As It was the refundable ticket and I have cancelled my returned ticket before more than 24 Hrs, I should have get the refund amount .I request make my trip to refund the amount deducting the cancellation charge or I will have to take further steps(Complaint) against them. I was trusting Make My trip a lot before but if they won't refund my money back I won't use the service from them and not let any one use also.They cheated me and my trust.

                                    With regard to the reference no. we had requested for a cancellation of the flight + hotel booking that we had done through booking ID NP[protected]. The go ahead was given to Make my trip based on their mail stating the cancellation charges would be INR 7000/- on Dec 13th Sunday. We also called the Make my trip call Center on Monday Dec 14th to confirm the same and we again requested for the cancellation to be taken ahead on the assurance that post the deduction we would receive at least INR 16, 000 however till date we have received confirmation of credit only INR 8652. Despite repeated calls we have not got the resolution for the balance - The reference id mail which should be available in your system & has all the details and if required the recording of the call can be traced. This seems more like cheating of customers especially when we are requesting for the cancellation of refundable fare to a place like Chennai which has been hit by Floods and the travelers are senior citizens!!! The least we expect now is a call back from your side with a resolution on the refund .. It has been a humiliating and shameful experience dealing with MMT and feels like beggars asking for our own hard money. I request the concerned authorities to look into the malpractices of the this NASDAQ listed entity ..

                                      I am going to list down all the concerns that I had with regard to the trip that I took. 1) I had asked for a group tour but my husband and I were alone for the trip. I was told, once I reached Rajasthan, that the group members will be joining. I had specifically asked for a group tour inorder to make sure that my husband and I won't be alone with a driver. 2)The driver kept staring at me through the rear view mirror everyday as if he has not seen ladies before. I spoke with my husband and he too saw it. I was on the seat behind the driver. Just to avoid his stare I decided to switch to the other side and that day I saw the driver adjusting his mirror and he continued staring. I had repeatedly asked if this was a popular tour and if more people will be coming just to ensure these kind of scenarios won't happen. I do not know if the concerned authorities understand how uncomfortable it is to ride like that. If you state it to be a group tour and when the customer keeps specifically asking for a group tour make sure it is one, else notify it to the customer. Your behaviour just showed that money values more to you that customer satisfaction. 3)Makemytrip doesn't have a proper customer care set up. I tried my best to contact your customer care but with little luck. I am a frequent flyer and have travelled to various places throughout my lifetime in groups and as family. I have taken services from various travel sites and groups and let me make one thing clear: This was my first time with makemytrip and the experience is the worst one I had. If there was a minus rating possible I would give it to you guys. Definitely won't suggest makemytrip to anyone in the future. I hope the office has enough courtesy and respect for their customers, to get back to them and enquire about the trip at the very least.

                                        I had booked 10 tickets (5 to and 5 return) for an upcoming family trip to Gangtok. My Booking id is NF[protected], booked on the 4th of Dec 2015. Invoice number is NF25731. I paid Rs 62, 924 for the 10 tickets, and now they say they will refund some Rs 1100/- in total after cancellation. Fare Calculation as per Invoice is this: Base Fare: Rs 10, 428 Passenger Service Fee: Rs 287 User Development Fee: Rs 1037 Other Surcharge: Rs 383 Total per passenger: Rs 12, 235 For 5 Passengers: Rs 61, 174 Plus Convenience Fee: Rs 1750 I am a very regular user of Make My Trip's services, and I am shocked at the way Make My Trip is trying to fleece me, and many other unsuspecting customers, with these clever strategies of hiding the Non-Refundable clause on flight bookings. I am sharing screen shots of the booking pages as they appear when you try to book these tickets, images are attached for reference. 1. Image 1: Flight selection page: Here, after selecting my flights for going and coming back, there is only one place in the page that says "FARE RULES". I have opened that in the image, and there is no mention whatsoever of the non-refundable clause here. MMT executive Mr Aman Tiwari (aman.[protected]@makemytrip.com), took 30 minutes while on call with me to discover that there is another link below individual fares called "DETAILS" that has Non-Refundable written. Very clever way MMT of hiding this very important piece of information. 2. Image 2: The booking page, again as per image attached, has absolutely no mention of the non-refundable status of the tickets that I am trying to book. 3. Image 3: Non-Refundable Fare rules according to Make My Trip: that says non-refundable fare means "tickets cannot be returned for a refund. However, if you cannot use your ticket, you may be able to apply its value toward a future flight within specified time frame as per the rules of the airlines. The airline may charge additional fees for changes made to a non-refundable ticket." I have been speaking to Make My Trip since the 9th of Dec 2015, when we were informed that my father cannot travel to Gangtok because of his Heart Disease, and I am extremely saddened and distressed by the apathy shown by MMT staff and customer-support/Complaints teams. Mr Aman Tiwari promptly disconnected my call after 40 minutes, on the realization that he also could not find Non-Refundable written on these pages even after 30 minutes, I have been trying to reach MMT, but every time, I am being told that their system is being updated, and I should call after 1 or 2 hours. I have written 2 complaints to them also, but I have not heard back even once. The Airline claims that the tickets are non-refundable from the Airline's side (Jet Airways), and they can not do anything about it. But I booked through MakeMyTrip, and it was THEIR responsibility to pass on the message to me, which they failed to do. That makes them liable, and not me. I refuse to pay for their Bad Design and display of such an important part of fare rules. My request is that they resolve this at the earliest, and refund the amount that is due to me. Even if they charge me Rs 1500 + Rs 300 per ticket as cancellation charges for airline and MakeMyTrip, it makes it Rs 18, 000 of cancellation charges, and they need to refund Rs 44, 924/- to me. As mentioned to them, I am even willing to accept a voucher of that amount from MakeMyTrip, that I can use for future bookings with MakeMyTrip. Please help me in getting this resolved ASAP.
