I had purchased Alto LXi August 2010. Till date, the car has run around 4700 kms. On 1.04.2011 when my car suddenly stopped at a red light and i called the helpline technicians, i was told that it has a faulty/defective engine. Next morning, i had to take the car from my home at Shalimar Bagh to the D.D. Motors' Peeragarhi Service Center and by the time my car reached there, the engine had melted and got broken from a corner. The service staff took a photo of the defective engine and mailed it to concerned officers at Maruti, who then instruted to replace the faulty engine.

My complaints are as under:

1. A faulty engine was installed in my Alto. I wonder how it had passed the series of tests the company conducts before the car is actually sent on roads.

2. When my car had stopped with a faulty engine, the helpline staff was not willing to take my car to the Service Center. With his another battery, he only started the car for me and then left it to me to drive the car to the Service Center. Had the battery blasted on my way to the showroom, who would have been responsible?

    I have bought a New SX-4 ZXI from Dhru Motor- Surat on 23 rd March 2011 & sent for 1st Service on 31st March 2011.
    On 1st April 2011 I have observed that coolant is leaking from bottom of Car & I immediate complaint to Dhru Motors & sent the car for Repairing, after reaching at -Dhru Motor, I had been told that Leaking was from Yesterday i.e. From 31 st march & they couldn’t locate the leaking & sent the car without solving the leaking Problems
    My question is
    1) Why leaking is not repaired on 31st March-2011?
    2) Why new Car having a leaking Problem?

      Dear All,

      Maruti Car Dealers are working with their monoploy.
      Eventhough, We can see lot many cars available in their Stock, they are saying the cars are having waiting period of 2 months and 1 more thing is Car rate is going to raise by 10000/00 Rs. within 2 months.

      By doing this they are taking Dealer Premium amount from Customers up to 30000/00 Rs. extra if we want to get the car immediately.
      So, the customers in waiting will remain in waiting status for 2 months instead of getting in lesser days.

      Now, I have a Cheque of Loan for a car Maruti Suzuki Swift (ZXI) on behalf of Kataria Automobiles.
      And Kataria is saying they will take the payment and deliver me a car in 2 months. And I will get 2 month interest on my Loan due to late delivery of Car invoice in Loan provider company.

      Loan provider is LIC and they are also refusing to cancel the Cheque.

      Now, wht can be the solution?
      Please, provide me necessary help.

          Dear Sir,

          Attached herewith please find a bogus e-mail dated 28/03/2011 received by me purportedly from Mr.Chieko Akiko, Human Resources Officer, MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LTD (MSIL), Tel: +91-[protected], Email:maruti.suzuki.recruitment.[protected]@dgoh.org, contents of which are self-explanatory. It seems that the mail is purely bogus to gain money on false grounds from the unemplolyed youths.

          Requesting you to kindly look into the matter and examine the authenticity of the mail and take appropriate action against the culprits. As you are kindly aware that lot of such on-line cheating are taking place in India and the poor and unemployed people are getting trapped in such on-line cheating.

          Looking into the gravity of the issue, an immediate legal action may kindly be initiated against the above firm, as deem fit under the circumstances.

          Akiko Call net — Job Cheat

          Sir, My Name is Manish and i live in rohini sector-16, Delhi..
          before 5 Month i joined "Akiko Call Net" Pitampura (It's a Call Centre Placement Agencie") and they commit me that " U will be getting job in between of 5 Month in call centre" and as per documents if i will not get job in between of 5 Month than they'll give me My 1/2 of the amount return.
          they gave us 2 Month Training but in this training period am not got any kind of satisfaction from them.. They changed there trainer more than 4 times and i told them to give me ma money back.. but they were not ready for do that.. they have given me an opening in a call centre. but after 3 days training they kicked off me from that company..
          i again consult that from "Akiko Call net" and they told me "we will give you opening in any other company.. but now 5 month has been over and whenever i demanding from ma money, they are telling me your contract has over and according to contract you already got a job and now they don't have any kind of responsibility.
          they are making my folly, and am very upset this time..
          Can i fill complaint against them in consumer court??
          How Can i get back my money??
          akiko callnet are cheats to the core and they are spread all over major cities in india ...Be aware

            Sir,
            I have recently bought a second hand maruti swift car 2006 model along with the existing insurance. I got my registration transfered from the RTO. My car Insurance policy is registered with Chowghule Insurance (Chowghule Maruti showroom). The previous owner has paid around Rs. 7000 annual. Now i wanted to transfer the policy in my name, but now they are asking Rs 1500 as insurance transfer fees. Do you feel this is just for only changing the owners name? In no other country they charge transfer fees and in this case nobody is there to question them.

                I have bought Maruti ritz dazzle vdi from Magioc auto Dwarka on 6th March'11 and since 8th March m hearing a cranking noise from the rear of my car, its more on the left side, i went to the G.T. Karnal Road workshop of magic auto three times, but they were unable to solve my problem, the problem goes away for a day or two, but then reappears, then i went to Motinagar workshop(Magic auto) yesterday, i.e. 19th March'11, the problem is somewhat rectified but their is still a loud bumping sound on rear left.

                Prior to this i owned a Maruti wagon R and never faced any problem since 5 years, i am quite dissapointed by this kind of response from such a response by a prestigious and relaible like yours, kindly take some action as soon as possible, its really very annoying that one spends so much money to buy a brand new vehicle and then face problems like this and then waste time going to the service centres again n again.

                      It is very painful to write a complaint against , but unfortunately I purchased my third Maruthi vehicle Chassis No.MA3FDEB1S00281564 on 16/03/2011 from dealer Popular Vehicles & Services,Vyttila, Ernakulam , Kerala. The vehicle's battery down at the time of delivery itself, first they adjust a battery from some other vehicle, then bring another vehicle in start position connect that with this vehicle then started this one.It was totally covered with mud, like old vehicle . Everybody there was watching this drama and I am standing like a fool spending this much money wasting my time and believing your company. I was planned to purchase a 2011 model vehicle and as stock was there for 2010 model last time I changed to that. My executive tried his level best to solve the problems but he won't get any support from there. At last they delivered me that without PDI at 7.10pm, as I am from Pathanamthitta District near to Sabarimala we reach very late as delivery delayed. Next morning when we want to go to temple for rituals, the vehicle battery not working at all. What will I do with this vehicle? Nobody contacted from your customer care till now . Executive calling me but what will he do . I am totally fed up with this as my previous vehicles also delivered very late and they are not ready to deliver it at same day.

                          Hello Sir,

                          I Suresh Kumar, have a car of make Maruti Swift with registration number HR 10 Q 0872. Unfortunately on 9 March 2011 in morning when i was moving towards my office i face an accident with a bike. After finishing up with bike and all i move towards Jagmohan Motors Sonepat Haryana for repairing of my car. When i go there officers present there asked me about accient details with registration card of car, insurence ceritificate of car and driving licence of driver (i.e. me). I gave all the documents to them. Then they asked me about a certificate that if bike rider file any case with police then i would be held responsible. Insurence company will not face any issue in this matter. Anyhow i give them this affidevit also. now after 5 days they say that the driving licence given by me is fake and i have to verify this from SDM office.
                          As far as my knowledge i have presented all the documents in original. If insurence officials or maruti officials have any doubt in originality of documents they can theirself verify by any means.
                          I am already in trouble as i meet the accident. On above of that insurence officials are harrasing me with these ways. I request you to please help me in this matter as i am in a serious trouble.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have purchased a Suzuki access 125 on 18 feb 11 from SSB motors, Kumbakonam. I sense a nasty noise from the engine from the date of delivery. Dealers accept that there is a nasty noise. He has not taken any initiative to redress that. I have sent a mail to company and I am yet to get reply. Further I find the suspension unresponsive and the fork seems to have a bend. I suspect the originality of the vehicle. I am clueless as to the next course of action.
                            Kindly suggest me the way to move forward

                              Maruti alto I purchased in the year July 2009 having run merely 13000 kms is from very brginning gad a jerk in the rear wheels During first 3 fre service I constantly bring this to the notice of service centres Star Line Motors Mehsana And Nanda Motors Kalol but no attention was paid . Right now the quantum of jerks has increased and the vehicle grounded. My chasis no. is 1432693 and engine no. 3703880 date of delivery 15/07/2009 from STARLINE MEHSANA GUJARAT. Is any body pay heed to my plight at MARUTI SUZUKI .

                                Hi - i received the mail from Maruti Suzuki (referring to my registration at Monster.com which is job search online service)) for the job opportunity at Maruti Suzuki. The mail instructed to deposite Rs. 8200/- & gave a A/c number of one of it's employee. Accordingly i deposited the money in State Bank of India in an a/c as informed by the company. The A/c number of SBI is [protected] by the name of Mr. Raj Singh. But when i confirmed about the payment, surprisingly i received one more mail from company mentioning that the said a/c holder had to travel out of country for some urgent official work & hence company can't confirm the receipt of my deposite. They adviced me to deposite the same amount once again giving one more a/c details of some different a/c holder. I expressed NO for the second deposite & asked them to return the deposited money. I followed up this request over continous mail communication with Maruti Suzuki as well as Monster but unfortunately till date there is no responce from any party. How do i recover my deposited money back.

                                  I purchased a vehicle from MARUTI True value, Nagpur during November 2010. During test drive, I complained about the bad brake and bouncy clutch problems to the dealer. After full payment of vehicle, the manager (Mr. Lokhande) advised me to take the delivery with an assurance to take necessary steps to resolve the existing problem then. The problem was not entertained positively during my first free servicing and got worsen during my second free service last week. It was suggested to change the brake pads as it had lost its efficiency and become alarming to keep continue with it.

                                  The complaint was never taken seriously since i brought the vehicle resulting payment of changed parts during second servicing. Mr. Lokhande was being contacted by me several times during this frustrating moments and he always replied that "I will talk to the mechanics and will call you back soon"... I actually never got his revert call at all.

                                  My concern is " can we trust the True value persons like this and keep getting cheated every time"?
                                  Is there anybody who can take this matter seriously for the sake of reputation of True value and return the unnecessary money spent towards repair and replacement charges during Free servicing"?

                                    i booked swift vdi on[protected] with an advance of Rs.50000.At the time of booking they said remaing 500000 may be paid at the time of delivery.But they asked me to pay the balance on[protected]and delivey within 10 days..I paid Rs.500000 on[protected].but as on today 9-2-2011 they didnot delivered my vehicle.In this showroom very poor response from sales team.No responsible person is there for correct information about vehicle delivery.my cell no.is [protected]

                                    Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi — poor delivery for the vehicle

                                    as maruti suzuki is the biggest brand in india, but it is very dissapointing to say that maruti has started ignoring its customer's.as i booked a maruti suzuki swift vdi(white colour) on 27/4/09 vide reciept no-16479, Rs 10000/- cash from m/s marketing times automobiles pvt ltd add-19 dlf centre greater kailash new delhi, assuring the delivery within 2-3 days i got my bank finance done on the same commitment and hand over a demand draft for Rs4, 91, 564/- dt 05/05/2009and handover the same to dealer but it is a hike for maruti as to be the biggest manufacturer company has addopted a rationing system and is subsiding the customer's problem,
                                    hopeing to make a war-footing action and to assure my delivery urgently.

                                      Dear Sir, I went to Maruti True Value at Okhla,New Delhi to check out a car. From ther very first day they kept calling me on phone to come again saying they have a very good WagonR car coming with only 30000 kms on road. They impressed me so much with their words that finally succeeded in convincing me to pay a booking amount of Rs 5000/- as token amount for the car.After taking the test drive I found that the the speedometer seemed to be tampared and it was a very old car.I asked them to return my money but they directly refused saying that once token money given will not be returned back and they have their own Legal department. I have been cheated and whenever I call them on phone they misbehave and say the same was printed in the slip.When I checked the slip I found in very small words written the same.They never mentioned it before taking my money . Please help me how to get back my hard earned money and punish these frauds.

                                        “BEWARE OF THE MARUTI PRODUCTS”
                                        I have purchased a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dezire VDI from their dealer with the name as Rohan Motors, Mathura Road, Delhi on dated 09th Feb. 2011. After running 450 km, on dated 13th Feb. 2011 when I was alongwith my family out of Delhi, there was some sound from the engine of the said car at an unknown place which was 45 km away from Disst. Rohtak, Haryana. I'd contacted to their executives i.e. Maruti Suzuki/Rohan Motors and made 30-40 calls to them but I'd got no satisfactory response from them and lastly you stated me that you are unable to provide me their services at that place and backed up from their promises.
                                        After that, anyhow, I managed the contact number of Regional Head of Maruti Suzuki, based at Chandigarh and contacted him by dialing his number. I got surprised when he put a straight forward his question at the first moment as from whom you had got my number. It was really disgusting that a person who is duty bound to help me after listening my problem regarding my newly purchased car; he is putting such type of silly questions besides helping me!
                                        Ultimately, after a long period of seven days, you replaced the short engine only at Rohtak itself instead of replace that car which was having the manufacturing problem. Whereas you are duty bound either to replace the defective car or to call back the defective car to their factory and after proper quality check up of the same and other required treatment with it, the same should be available to be run on the road.
                                        And again after 9 days i.e. on dated 2nd March 2011 at 20:30 pm of replacement of engine, I have faced the problem again with the car.
                                        After calling the MOS (serial no.423 Maruti on Road Service) of Maruti, I came to know that now the problem is over heaten of the engine in the said brand new purchased car, you Top up the water in radiator and instruct me to inspect the car to workshop. This is really ridicules to me for 2nd time on road within 20 days with that said car with defects.
                                        I have sent the mail to senior officials of Maruti which is Plant Head India and to. Mr. Shuji Oishi, Director of Suzuki, Japan but till yet I’ve got no response from either side. It is really causing harassment to me as well as my family.
                                        So, please provide me the justice or give any advice what can I do? Either I will surrender the car to you so that you may scrap it or let it pull into fire or hell.
                                        Although, it was my bad luck that I'd purchased a Maruti Product after getting false assurances from Maruti regarding the good quality of their product, but anyhow, I want to explain in crux which are as follows for the buyers who are planning to buy the Maruti product:
                                        1. The products of Maruti are not good of quality and you seem like LOCAL JUGAAR;
                                        2. The service of MOS (MARUTI ON ROAD SERVICE) is not up to mark that is you don't have updated the contact numbers of their partners.
                                        3. If, unfortunately, any problem or issue or defect has taken place, Maruti does not agree to take ownership of the said defect etc.
                                        4. Senior Officials are used to flee from their customers and don't want to talk with them regarding the problems arisen in vehicle/product.
