This is regarding an undue billing for my matrix Sim for Thailand, used from 4th 2014 to 10th Oct 2014. I had taken two matrix connections, @99 plan for Thailand and one with @799 plan. The @799 plan had the offer for 15 minutes/day free calls to India. However, looking at the bill I can understand that MATRIX has wrongfully charged me (4576 INR)for all the calls without deducting the free minutes. Which is unacceptable and constitutes a breach of confidence by the vendor(Matrix Cellular (International) Services Private Limited) towards the consumer. Below are the details for the connection and the bills generated by Matrix Cellular Matrix No.: [protected] Product Type: Thailand/Voice Bill No.: THA[protected]th -10 Oct 2014 In addition to it, I was informed by MATRIX representatives on the Kolkata Airport about the prefixes used while budget dialling and direct dialling and I followed it strictly adding 00600 before dialing any Indian international number. Despite of following the procedure for free calling(15 min/day), I have been charged for it which is a clear case of Fraud. This is highly unethical by MATRIX, I am being billed with heavily for my calls. Also when complained with the service desk, they did not take any complaints for it rather updated that, as per usage its charged, we cant help with it.

    I had taken Matrix SIM for overseas travel to Australia, for the duration of 24th March 2013 to 30th March 2013.The plan taken was 299 & given Rs 6000/- as deposit through cheque. After the travel, Matrix immediately collected the SIM from me & then provided a bill amount of Rs 10640.46/-. One bill with amount as Rs 9240.97 (bill duration from 28thth Feb to 29th March) & other as Rs 1399.49. There were lot of hidden charges involved & also the call durations were not matching to my mobile phone call durations. Did follow up with Matrix on the same, provided them with extracted call duration details from my mobile phone. Matrix didn't bother to materialize the same & instead kept on sending late payment charges. Now the late payments charges are sometimes Rs 10000/- & sometimes Rs 9000/-. Receiving 2 mails every month with such discrepancies in amount. After 2 years now they have sent me a Lok Adalat pre-litigation notice asking for the settlement amount as Rs 8340/-. Don't understand what is this way of dealing with customer. When customer was ready to pay & wanted clarification for the concerns, Matrix never bothered to materialize the same. This is just mental harassment to customer & pathetic customer service... Why should we trust them even ?

      For international SIM service between year 2010 to 2012- I had taken Matrix connection. Following are details about my association with matrix. Account Code : 305262. Matrix No. : [protected]. Matrix piggy banked on ATT (local telecom operator in USA)to give me telecom service in USA. The bills I have show that heavy long distance charges on toll free numbers has been levied on me. The false charges made the bill inflate to 20656.11. I asked ATT customer service to give me details about the toll free calls. They gave me usage statistics. ATT does not show that I have made long distance calls, why does Matrix treat it like long distance. It has clearly not received same treatment as local calls. What is the significance of a toll free Number?. According to FCC guidelines toll free numbers are supposed to be free and are paid by company. Any non compliant company (in this case- Matrix) that violates the guidelines can be disputed. On 27th Dec 2012, an open case disputing the bill was raised at Federal Communications Commission forum. Please let me know about what documents you need. I have copies of logs/communication logs with Matrix It was not easy to make Matrix realize that they were violating FCC rules. I first told support in Nov 2012 that they were aberrant in charging for toll free, they did not agree, approached Vikram, then Wasim, then Suganya, Then swati, chandan, Cancellation pleas were not accepted easily, In between Matrix forgot that I had applied for cancellation, had to remind them again. (I have all the mails). After all that Matix kept accumulating late changes. The false charge of inflated 20, 000+ plus got manipulated by Matrix to 80, 000+ due to late changes. From the very start of it 20, 000+ is wrong. After that Matrix refusal to believe that they were violating norms. With so many disputes, drain in consumer energy, mental harassment, shock to consumer

      YES, I TOO AGREE. MATRIX IS A REAL FRAUD. THEY FIND OUT SOME WAYS AND MEANS TO OVER CHARGE YOU. MY RECENT EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN WHEN I TOOK A SIM FOR SINGAPORE AND THEY OFFER SOME PLANS WHICH WERE LUCARATIVE ENOUGH AND ALSO CHARGED ME A SECURITY DEPOSIT. LATER WHEN I RECIEVED MY BILL THAT STATE THAT I HAVE EXCEEDED MY DATA USAGE LIMIT AND ARE COMELLING ME TO PAY AROUND 4500 RS. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A MATRIX BILL WHICH IS JUST FICTIOUS. I USE A IPHONE AND WHEN I HAD RESET MY DATA, I HAD NOTED THAT MY LAST USAGE WAS MUCH MORE LESS THAT WHAT THEY CLAIM. IN SHORT THEY ARE CHEATERS. I AM FILING A CASE IN THE CONSUMER COURTS AND ALSO WITH THE CONSUMER DEPART OF THE DELHI GOVERNMENT. BEWARE OF THESE FRAUDS.

        This is regarding an undue billing for my matrix sim for Thailand, used from 30 Sep 2014 to 06 Oct 2014. I had taken two matrix connections, @99 plan for Thailand and one with @799 plan. The @799 plan had the offer for 15 minutes/day free calls to India. However, looking at the bill I can understand that MATRIX has wrongfully charged me (11000 INR)for all the calls without deducting the free minutes. Also, the MATRIX representative had informed me with confidence that the charges will be applied as Rs 30 per minute over the free daily vocal call usage. MATRIX has charged me THB 30 per minute, which is unacceptable and constitutes a breach of confidence by the vendor(Matrix Cellular (International) Services Private Limited) towards the consumer. Below are the details for the connection and the bills generated by Matrix Cellular Matrix No. : [protected] Country/Product Type : Thailand/Voice Bill No. : THA[protected] sep -6 oct 2014 In addition, .I was not informed by MATRIX representatives on the Kolkata Airport about the prefixes used while budget dialling and direct dialling, despite me asking them to clearly state the terms and calling procedures.           I got a US SIM card from Matrix for a short trip. I opted for 1 month Plan of 4999 INR that includes free incoming/outgoing local calls, 1500 mins of India talk time, free limited no. of SMS. I returned to India on 23rd Nov and Matrix sent an itemized bill for 8568/-. I confronted with the local guy as well the support, but they have their own justifications which was not communicated to me in paper. All promised to me before I get the SIM was...4999 all inclusive. With so much disgruntlement I paid 8568 last month. To inflict more pain, Matrix sent another bill for 2560/- stating the previous one is for 2 weeks and the latest one is for remaining weeks. This is nothing but a cheap mechanism to cheat consumers without information or promoting false info. If I've taken the SIM at US, the whole expenses would have costed me mere 50 USD (3000 INR), where as matrix looted nearly 12000 INR in the name of professional services. ALL THE POSITIVE MESSAGES YOU FIND HERE ARE POSTED BY MATRIX THEMSELVES. PLS DONT BE FOOLED AND GOT TRAPPED

            I bought a matrix sim for the UK from Delhi international airport. I was told that my sim would be updated with £17 and that I could get an internet plan from the local network provider in the UK and I only bought the sim on that condition. When I called them to confirm, once I was in the UK already, they told me I'd have to pay for the internet per MB. I ended up spending more than 2500rs for the internet and had to face a lot of hassle too. I'm very very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it to anyone ever. The staff are absolute cheaters and would lie to any extent to sellf thier sims.

              I was travelling to england. i asked the Matrixx sales guy to get me to TWO simS. one with internet plan and one for general calling WITHOUT INTERNET He firstly took my credit card front page copy and told me this is just for validation. and he"ll not charge it. Comlain one : As when i reached london my sim with the internet plan and WOW!! my internet was not working i have called up this guy 100 time from london to make this thing work. Can check my Ph bill as well. Complain 2 : As when i reached back, i got the bills one with internet plan the bill was around 6500 and one without internet plan was 15000 ( fraudly charged 9000 of internet usage) then i repeatedly called up that guy to discuss my.bills. but he constantly keep ignoring... And charged one bill with my credit card without my prior information and without even discussing the bill. Bill charges are like anything NO RESPONSE FROM HIM REGARDING THE BILL AFTER BEING CALLED MANY TIMES COMPLAIN 3 : I received a call from customer care ... i explained him all my problems.. he started bribing me instead of solving my problem told me that for settling the bill i can give you 30 percent waveoff...i told him discuss with your sales guy and then give me a call. he never called Complain 4: then again i received a call from a customer care girl ( Parul ) on 28th of November: told her my problems again . she told that she'll discuss with gaurav and revert me back in the eveining. she dissapeared and then again she called me up on 2nd of dec for the bill settlement . i asked her abt my problem . she told that gaurav guy is not picking her calls. and then she told she'll give me a call in 5 mins. and then uptil now i havent received any call. PROBLEMS: .1AFTER CONSTANT CALLING HE NEVER DISCUSSED BILL.ALWAYS KEPT ON IGNORING MY CALLS AND MESSAGES FOR 2 MONTHS 2.CUSTOMER CARE GUYS ARE REGULARLY CALLING ME UP WITHOUT SOLVING MY PROBLEM. 3.CHARGED MY CREDIT WITH PRIOR NOTICE AND WITHOUT EVEN DISCUSSING THE BILL 4.SIM THAT I HAVE WITH INTERNET PLAN IN WHICH THE INTERNET NOT WORKED AT ALL . (STILL PAID THAT BILL) 5.SIM I HAVE TAKEN FOR CALLING WITHOUT INTERNET PLAN . CHARGED 9000 FOR INTERNET EVEN WITHOUT USING IT. I highly recommend not to use Matrixx sim and please dont give your Credit card copy to this sales representative guys. They will make unneccesary bill and without evening discussing they will charge your credit card.                 I had been a customer of Matrix for 2-3 times and have now stopped using them at all. First, their services don't work, second their billing and customer service is pathetic. Third, they intentionally dupe customers by promising something and then delivering something completely different. I have now stopped using them for any international trips. I dont think they care because they have so much attrition that the next customer service rep or the account rep does not have any clue on the customer. In my case, Matrix duped me by getting me bills from more than a year back which they never sent and coming back to me and asking for the payment with charges. i have no proof (and I searched for the bills and all emails) of them sending any emails, they themselves don't have any proof. Then they have the audacity to get back and ask me to pay in 24 hours and unless i do that they would start collection proceedings. The call center folks dont have any mannerisms and dont know how to talk to customers. I have STOPPED using their services, will pay and shut down any fuutre relationship with them. Imagine doing this to a customer like me (who has given me much business and by per customer basis is on the high end side of per customer revenue). I would strongly recommend anyone i meet to NOT use MATRIX and use all forms of social media and consumer complain forums to talk about this. Regards, Urvashi Gupta ([protected]@yahoo.com)

                  I was fooled by Matrix sales executive, when I took the Matrix card when going to the US. This sales executive said that 450 minutes were free on outgoing or incoming calls from India. Whereas the contract (which was never given to me after me signing it), stated that the 450 minutes were for Incoming or Outgoing within the US only. Further after I received the bill I realized that my No. has been switched with someone else. I have raised this complaint since March 2013, up until now (Oct 2014). Even then Matrix refuses to accept its mistake. Moreover Matrix has not replied to a single of my queries regarding the switching of Phone Nos. on the bill, since Mar 2013. Is there any respite that I can get from this. Even though I was fooled by the Matrix Salesperson (BELIEVE ME THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT IT), I am willing to settle my correct bill. Need Help!!!

                    I have taken a new Matrix SIM card connection from Delhi Airport terminal while travelling to Johannesburg.They have provided me with details of the call rates and the charge involved as the minimum upfront payment. After using the phone for a week in Johannesburg I have started receiving the notifications regarding my un-billed amounts. I have requested for my call logs and I realised that Matrix is not charging me the rates they have promised.Matrix customer care failed to explain me the reasons and they rather said to wait until the final bill is issued at the end of the month. The service provider wants to deduct the money from my credit card when the bill is issued and they are avoiding any explanation before this date. This is real example of fraud. I have stopped using the phone but day by day there is an increase in my bill. This is not acceptable and why should I agree to pay for something which is not rightfully charged. Customer rights are ignored and I would request to submit a complaint against Matrix Service provider.

                      I was flying to the US and bought a clay sim card with standing instructions of not charging my credit card, which the sales guy agreed upon and ensured that it would not happen. Not only did Clay charged my card for some 30k, but charged it for a wrong duration, way before that i actually started using the sim.. The customer is not an !! Cant even express my disappointment!

                        Never use Matrix cellular service. They are big time cheaters!! They add extra minutes to calls here and there to steal the money, as it can go unnoticed. This happened to all my bills of my recent visit abroad. When you bring this to their notice, they ask you to share screen shots of the call to reverse them. If you are unable to do so, you are screwed. No other proof is accepted by them, like call log back-ups in Gmail through mobile apps. One cannot keep all the call logs for months!! I had to pay 50% extra on one of my bills. Point is, why should I pay for their mistake? This is just not acceptable. They never told that I need to keep screen shots of all the calls as proof to track their mistakes. It is not the responsibility of the user. Not only do they cheat, they also have the audacity to say that they won’t reverse the mistake based on other proofs and only screen shots are accepted. Not one sorry mail for the mistake. They behave like they are entitled to this privilege of stealing call minutes!

                        Nope. They were not reverted on all my bills. On one bill for which I gave email logs as proof, I was rudely told that they won't be doing it!
                        Please don't misguide people who are going to read this post. They must know how you guys cheat. Calling it "unpleasant experience" is even more rude. It is blatant cheating!

                        so called the one YOU cannot accept…upon that you were lying that you have
                        already credited the money in the previous post.

                        Bottom line is, YOU will cheat…as if it is your right to

                        We do not intend to cheat anyone. As mentioned in our earlier respones, that inadvertant charges levied on your bill were reversed to you. Now, the proof shared by you can not be validated, as it has no relevance to the call durations.

                        It is relevant as it has all the details a screen shot would have viz number called and the duration of the call.

                        Anyway, you are saying same old blah blah what your customer care person was saying. I am not here to listen to your lies. I am here to educate people about your wrong doings. You talking about what kind of proof will be accepted doesn't change a thing about you cheating people by adding minutes to the call duration in first place. Again and again that too...

                        If you are here to clarify something why don't you talk about why this is happening in first place?! Reverting and proof comes later.
                        Another proof of Matrix cellular's dishonesty. When asked about why the extra minute addition is happening in first place, they keep mum. People see for yourself and decide.

                          As per bill received by me for using Matrix SIM in JAPAN the charge for usage can out to be INR 54660.48. The bill details show that there was usage of Internet Service for 30 MB (for which a charge of Rs. 47816 has been mentioned) ie INR 1572 / MB. This rate was never been mentioned in agreement. Moreover there was no usage of internet facility by me. The data usage facility in my phone has been turned off for whole duration of trip. In spite of that, the data has been consumed.

                            sir, i used matrix cellular international sim for sigapour and malasiya . i was told that either you deposit 5000 per sim as security to us or you give us authorisation from your credit card to deduct bill amount ..first your bill will come on your mail id then it will deducted from your credit card... i told yhe distributor that i have to make certain call to india and i donr want to your any data or internet . after coming back to india i return back my both sim to company executive on 24 aug 2014...according to me totall call that i made amount should not come more than 5000 but today i got massage that my credit card is debited 10000 one entry and 20000 another entry when i confirm i came to know that previously also 15000 was deducted from my card thats mean totall 45000 was deduted from my account ..when i confirm from matrix cellular i came to know my total bill is more than 2 lakhs ...sir kindly see this matter my name is kapil dani i live in m-51 kalkaji new delhi and my registered mobile number is [protected]

                              I had went to Malaysia in July'14, for which i had taken two sim cards and the scheme offered to my by the executive was 2 Myr per minute for the out going calls to India. But when i actually recieved my bill i was charged at 2.5 Myr per minute. The lame part from customer care end is, i had lodged the complaint almost a month back and every time they reply me is your query will be resolved in 48 hours, god knows which standard time they follow. The executive which issued me the card from Mumbai has stopped receiving my calls. Great service and great way to earn money. Strict actions should be taken against them, else i feel this will never end as after visiting this site i have realised that i am not the only BAKRA. My Malaysian mobile no.                                 !!! BEWARE OF MATRIX CELLULAR OR SIMCARD !!!

                                Matrix Cellular sold a SIM card and said it is valid in the UK and will work as soon as you reach London. Its been three days and I had a buy a local SIM card. I bought it so that I could communicate after reaching from airport to confirm onward journey flight status, however it hasn't worked till today.

                                Customer care numbers are simply bogus, they don't recognise the number given to me and I have spent so much in calling back their Indian number for customer care.

                                I have sent dozens of emails to which they have replied at all, if at all they reply they ask for number, I was given. I have always included that in email sent to them as a reference and they fail to identify it in the email. Seriously, either a bunch of jokers are handling this customer care OR they are simply not bothered after taking money because they know, that person who has flown out of country is not going to come back in departure lounge so soon.

                                I am also drafting a formal compliant to be out forward to Delhi Airport so there stall is permanently taken off from departure lounge because they are just cheaters and nothing more.

                                  Matrix Sim Cards have the most to offer in terms of tariffs and Value added services! And everything is worth every penny spent on the service. There was no point in our trip to Malaysia that we felt that calling home was a task or the data services were poor. Everything was seamless and properly integrated. Infact we even got a text highlighting the data usage on the number!! I mean wow!!

                                    I bought a matrix sim while I was travelling to Canada. During my visit to Canada, I lost my phone and hence informed the matrix team to de-activate the SIM. Fortunately, later I found and have informed Matrix team that I found the SIM but dont activate since it is just a day for me to leave. But even after informing this to them and sending email to them to collect the SIM, they deducted the SIM charges from my account. Have done MANY follow ups with customer care and lady (Pratibha from Pune Matrix team) who sold this to me. But no one ever bothered to respond. Pratibha while selling was very aggressive, but while attending customer issues she has been disappeared. Suggestion: Dont use Matrix cellular. Pathetic Services

                                      I am yet another customer who is getting harassed by matrix for fraudulent bill and now a threatening notice I wish to lodge a complain in Ghrhak surakxa Kendra I take a SIM card for my uk and Dubai trip from Mr.Maulik contact or him cell no is [protected] matrix Ahmedabad office at the sim purchase time Mr.Maulik told me that he required my credit card for normal formality and I give my credit card copy by mail to him during my uk trip when I was in uk and Rs.4, 846.00 is direct debit from my cardiit card I am surprised how can you direct debit from my card whiteout any notice after that I block my card and spoke with Mr. Maulik how you can direct debit from my card at the time of purchasing SIM card you told me that cradit card copy is only our formality when you return from trip we give you invoice and you have to pay by cheque but he didn't reply after that matrix give another bill for uk and charge me for data usage which is not use by me and also charge me for USA call which is not use by me and after that Mr. Mulik is not responding me and he told me that now you have to speak with Mr Jayesh Goswami and Mr. Jayesh spoke with me very rudely and wrong behavior with me and harassed me by the legal notice my account no is 813755my agreement no T10004₹1635 my cell no is [protected] my mail I'd is vraj.[protected]@gmail.com if there is no respond by you I too am going legal complaint against matrix

                                        I am yet another customer who is getting harassed by Matrix for fraudulent bill and now a threatening notice. I have been slammed with a Rs. 8713 bill for unknown usage. My CAF: M2492391, Connection No: [protected]. I took an international SIM last in the start of 2013 given to my Mr Atul Awasthi in Delhi and was charged a security amount of 5000 for one year telling me that all incoming in the specified 100 countries will be free and any outgoing will be charged as mentioned. While I was abroad, I got a bill of few hundred rupees with no details o[censored]sage. As I do not hold a credit card and internet services are not available where I work it has not been possible for me to track or pay any outstanding. I could not use the SIM on regular basis as I had other better options available. Now when I arrive home in India, I got a notice of Rs. 8713 which was unthinkable as I hardly made any usage. I wish to surrender the SIM and agree to pay any legitimate outstanding. My friends are availing better services from other Cellular companies which are not such fraudulent. I have heard there is plethora of such cases of cheating against this company and they are ruthlessly extorting money from ignorant customers who travel abroad are not able to track their bills. Matrix team is absolutely irresponsible in this matter. I wish to lodge a complain against Matrix, looking for a speedy resolution.
