Before going to us. I bought a plan of inr 1999 / - it was an unlimited plan.

The company later raised a bill of inr 6004 / -

The company wrongly claimed that i rejected the plan which is not true. At the same time no one gave them the right to charge me a different plan without my approval

    went to UK for a couple of weeks last month and used the Matrix sim there. When I checked my bill, I had been charged for some unwanted messages which were sent from my mobile without me knowing about it. When I asked matrix about this they said that there is an issue with Iphone and it sends unwanted messages for missed call alerts. There were around 30 such messages which were sent and were charged 13/- each. Matrix are quite arrogant in returning back such money to the users. Had I wanted I would have blocked my credit card and stop their payment, but we being responsible customers don't normally go that way but companies like matrix deserve that.

    Dear Mr. Tushar,

    Unfortunately even after your intervention into this issue, Matrix is still adamant in saying that its an Iphone issue and not an issue with Matrix. So the comments I have made above are completely correct that Matrix is arrogant and no Iphone user should go for Matrix as it is going to cost them extra money. So its a big no no for Iphone users.

      They took 3500 security fees and are unwilling to refund the balance 2800 rupees.
      there has been no communication, response so far from their side and are constantly ignoring my mails and calls . .
      it has been 3-4 months as of now.

      if you they could send a person to collect security amount, then they could refund the same so in a smooth way.

      it is happening to me 3rd time from matrix. it is common mal-pratcice of matrix to eat up customers money .

      hope, they understand, i dont wanna go the HARD WAY .

      Same happened with me...they had charged be rs 80000 on a plan of rs 5000, the already took my credit card details and have charged 48000 and now they expect the rest of bill to be paid. a big FRAUD!!!

        Matrix cellular offers LOUSY telecom solutions to international travelers. The company holds quiet big name in the market, but not many people know that their scams are equally big. They are just cheating customers by charging them huge money for their pathetic services. Its customer care team is good for nothing – they just cover up for the unprofessional service provided. If you are a customer and using Matrix services, then you should never expect any kind of help from their customer support team. Their sim cards are poor with low network coverage. Network connection is really bad & on top of that, they’ll charge you like anything on your credit card for providing such a poor services. It’s not only me but there are many more customers who have been ripped by them for their lousy service for which I have attached links below…. Really poor service guys….

        While searching other customer issue I also found that Matrix cellular is going to launch its IPO – pity… enjoying on customers money. This is heights! How can SEBI allow such company to launch their IPO which just cheats customers???? If this happens, they will rob customers. I am sure the objective is too fill their posckets with customer’s hard earned money. Ridiculous Such company should be totally banned and a 0 rating should be given to them….Get up guys and stop ripping people with wrong bills!!

          i had taken two SIM cards for JAPAN from your KOLKATA office from Mr. Anshul Bajpai.

          2 complaints
          1. the charges for the same have been already debited from my credit card wherein i was in the process of clarifying wrongly billed charges with mr. Anshul Bajpai at Kolkata. He had communicated that the charges was Rs 2000/- for unlimited data usage and i get an unexplainable bill of Rs 2600/- Now he refuses to comment

          2. My address for delivery was Ranchi and the SIM reached me within a day. Now PICK UP is an issue because no courier service is ready to take the sim. This has been repeatedly communicated to: Manas Ranjan Pradhan, Sikandar Khan & lastly Shivam Sharma based at the Delhi office.
          Why do they keep sending warnings and reminders without providing a solution. i think i am being unnecessarily harassed

          3. It is very difficult to speak to customer care as the waiting time is very long and the call never goes through

              Matrix Cellular Sim Card Customer Rating is 0 for me --- I had taken a Matrix international sim for USA and i have to say that their customer services are really poor. I called them as my sim had stopped receiving signals mid day and whatever i did, nothing was helping. Instead of helping me, they kept on transferring my call first from the technical team to the customer service team and ultimately said that this was a technical glitch which would be sorted in a days time and then hung up. The issue didnt get resolved for 3 days and despite several emails and calls, nothing changed or infact there was no help from their end at all.

              Calling their customer service for help was such a waste as they asked me change my handset as it was a handset problem. Well i did try doing that as well, tried it in my friends iphone and same issue. Never using their service again. Was really terrible, horrible. Pathetic people. They should better shut down Matrix Cellular. They are sitting to cheat customers. Shame on you Matrix Cellular.

                I travelled to Europe recently and since I had been happy with Matrix in the past, I signed up for a Matrix card. On 6 June, I got a message from Matrix saying I had consumed over 1 GB of data in one day ! I immediately called the Matrix customer service officer, Vibhuti, who told me to email Matrix. I sent Ankit Bhatia from Matrix a screenshot of my phone's data consumption, to prove that I had not consumed any data. This was my email Date: 06-Jun-2015 4:30 pm Subject: Matrix number - ±[protected] To: Cc: Hello, I've attached a picture of the data usage that my phone has measured while I've been in Europe (Amsterdam) from the 2nd of June until the 5th of June and London on the 6th of June. As you can clearly see it is 4 MB and perhaps 10 - 20% more or less as measured by the carrier, in this case, Matrix. I never got a reply and was told by Vibhuti to wait till the bill was generated. When I received the bill, I found to may shock and dismay that they had charged me for allegedly consuming 1 GB of data, which I had not done. 1 GB is the equivalent of downloading a complete movie ! When I emailed customer service, I got the following standard mindless form letter " This is in response to your below mail. We would like to inform you that the bill is absolutely in consonance with the usages made by you. The bill has been raised through the reliable billing platform of the network partner and there is no possibility of the inaccuracy there. As per your itemized bill, it shows the date, time, description, duration and amount which was made by your connection, since the sim card was under your possession. We assure you that the charges are genuine and there is no possibility for inaccuracy in it. At the outset, please be assured that Matrix will never charge you for the services that have not been rendered to you from our end. Hence, we regret to inform you that we won't be able to make any changes in the bill. Kindly let us know if any further assistance is required. Reference number for this correspondence is-SU15070519. We appreciate your business and look forward to your continued support and relationship with Matrix.                   i had applied for two connections from matrix and paid the security by cash. when i asked for a receipt, i was told that it will be mailed to me. i kept calling them to mail me the receipt but there was no respond. and now after returning from the trip i m told to pay the money which i already did and now they are lying that they have not received any payment from my side. i have lost trust in this company and i will never use their services nor recommend anyone. their customer services is pathetic.

                    Hi All,

                    This is regarding the matrix cellular charges which was billed for 15 days.

                    I bought metrix SIM in delhi on 30th May 2015 and used for one week till 5th June.

                    Against one week usages they send me bill of 40000 Rs against few minutes voice calls to india, they have added all the bills against data charges which was not informed into customer copy. When i asked their sales representative they told sir it is local SIM in mexico so all charges would be as per local tariff.

                    Today they have against sent me bill of 30000 Rupes even though i am not using their services.

                    I have notified my emails, called customer care but they are not talking any interest and not providing any confirmation whether my number is suspended or not.

                    I writing to this forum an warning everyone please don't use Matrix services they will cheat you.

                    They are doing mental harassment and taking disadvantages as i am away in another country.

                        I took Matrix SIM Cards, and because i was not satisfied with the terms and conditions, I asked to cancel the SIM Cards. Therefore, I returned the SIM Cards within 2-3 days. I never signed any agreement also, I didn't give any document including credit card copy. Now, they have sent me the message to pay Rs 3305 for the bill. I didn't use the SIM and returned before going abroad. I didn't sign any agreement then why should I pay the bill. Matrix is cheating by making people fool and earning the money.

                          Matrix had provided us 2 no Sim for US and 2 no Sim for Canada The Canada Sim were $1 per day and 1 Us Sim was for Rs 4999/- for the plan plus the usage over and above the plan also they had in writing promised a discount of Rs 350/- per bill in lieu to the bad services provided when i had purchased the Turkey card a year back. I also called them ( Mr Niraj, Manager Matrix ) in this regards and he had promised me that he will himself look into the matter and get it rectified. Needless to say that the bills have already been charged through my credit card without my permission. No action has been taken till date Iqbal Nabi [protected]@hotmail.com

                            this is in ref to the sim i took for 21 days for my trip to usa. the no is [protected]. i raised a complaint of wrong bill a week back and spoke to custom rare and they said yes the bill is wrong and will correct it. nothing came up inspire of sending mails and speaking to them. today i was charged for the wrong bill by mode of card payment.the card was taken only as verification purpose and was not supposed to be charged. there is no authorization given by me for the card to be charged. neither i signed any other letter. pl reverse the amount and send the correct bill.

                              I had travelled overseas in Aug2013, I had used the services of on Matrix provider of overseas sim cards. I had given my Singapore Credit card, which they mentioned was to be used for verification only. On return on 27th Aug I had surrendered the sim card and had given them a chq for the amount. On 3rd setember they had debited my Singapore card. I had then filed a disputed transaction and then got the money reimbursed into my credit card after fighting for 3-4 months with a monetary loss of SGD1500. These guys had not corrected their system and were keeping on sending reminders which I had ignored. Again 2 months back is in Feb 2015 they had debited my Singapore card for the same transaction (invoice nos are the same). I had to file the disputed transaction again and also cancel my card. A fraudulent third rate company, , None of the employees are bothered.

Contacted call center but no confirmation on activation. All of them was delivered by Matrix employee at my office.                                   all those with complaints of overbilling, false billing against matrix can start rejoicing.matrix is stuck in a tricky court case --matrix vs J.S.tiwana a senior citizen who decided o take the bull by the horns. the verdict in this case will be deathblow to matrix especially if the press can dig into this case. next hearing at saket courts on 30th june. after this one more hearing and then the verdict !!

                                    Attaching a full communication below. I took a Matirx card which did not worked, and I was unable to even make a single call from my number nor the phone allowed me to call the support team. I was only able to send a email with 24-48 hours response window.

                                    The problem was not solved in next 24 hours also I took alernate SIM and asked for cancel and no bill to be raised as it never worked and neither i was able to used. and the below is the response from the customer support

                                    We would like to apprise you that the your number is already suspended.

                                    Further, would like to inform you that since we have not received any complaint regarding the non functionality on the number therefore we regret to say that the bill would be generated with the rental and usages.

                                    Enquiry: Extremely disappoint choosing with Matrix Post paid card for voice calls. I have taken matrix card on 30th May morning from bangalore airport for 15 days plan for UK. (I only will need it from 30th may to 6th June)

                                    The plan comes with INR 200 free value and I have also submitted a voucher for INR 350 reduction from total bill. However after landing to UK and when try to reach my parents back in bangalore the card shows 0 Balance and I ended up with not able to communicate back home about my safe landing in UK.

                                    In bangalore I double checked about my connection activation and was informed that it is already activated and i can use once I reach UK.

                                    At an urgent moment I was not able to reach my family and the whole purpose of taking the card got defeated.

                                    I need an action to be taken against this.

                                    Pain from MATRIX Cellular Continues, I am going through a mental Harrasment from Team of Matirx.

                                    1. They give me a plan and took a INR 350 rupee voucher from me plan never worked.
                                    2. No number of customer service reachable when my number was not working as the matrix number even did not allowed me to call support
                                    3. Even after writing email support team wakes up after 48 hours (my trip was 6 days)
                                    4. Asking for cancellation they write I need to pay bill (mind it I have given a 350 Voucher and my family faced all issues I cannot reach them when I needed, next day finaaly I have to take some other number)
                                    5. [protected]@matrix employees which dont understand unthing and just kept writing email that whatsoever reason I need to pay bills
                                    6. I get a email from support that they have proof that I have used the connection and sends me someone else bill which were taken 20 days before I took the card. Name, days all differnt
                                    7. I get an automated bill from Matrix that I need to pay 200 for bill cycle (mind it I was not able to do single call with it and they took a 350 Voucher for reduction in bill also from me)
                                    8. The mail also says that if I dont accept the bill in 24 hours, I accept everything (I have written 20 emails aorund this but nobody seems to be bothered.

                                    I not sure where to go but I want support and know how should I go to consumer court for filing a case against this harrasment.

                                      I had taken a sim card from Matrix Cellular for my trip to South Africa from 1st Mar 2015 to 15th March 2015. During this time, I had requested for 2 GB internet. For this, I got a confirmation on SMS(Please see attached screenshot. Also I kept checking my usage, and on the last day of my trip, there was an unbilled usage of around 460 Rands(Approx 2700 Rupees). To my surprise, on 13th March 2015 I received a bill of around 22K rupees, and was told i was being charged for out of bundle Internet usage. I stopped my Internet and only used it for calls. Now they have still gone ahead and made my bill for around 44, 000+ Rupees. And when I inquired how they could bill me so much and why there was no credit limit as per TRAI guideline, i was not given any straight answer. I also provided the proof of the SMS and the unbilled usage, this also was of no use. They still billed me for out of bundle usage.

                                        Extremely disappointed with the service we have received from Matrix for Europe tour. My trip became miserable…and couldn’t really divert my attention from the horrible nightmare. We had taken 2 SIM, one prepaid of INR 2999 and another postpaid of 499 rupees. After several phone call the delivery person arrived very last moment in hurry. The fellow exchanged the SIM and between postpaid and prepaid. I enquired If I can check if it is working, he said it will only get activated once I am in Europe. In Europe I was supposed to have prepaid in my mobile but had postpaid and for my wife’s had prepaid(according to Matrix). However the prepaid one always kept saying it has Zero balance, so no calls were possible. Hence I was confident that we are using the right SIM in right handsets. Al of a sudden one of the representative from India called said your uses have become about 20000 rupees because of 128MB data uses in Postpaid connection. My total uses was certainly below the free uses in Prepaid card I was of huge shock which kept bothering me for rest of the tour was with all the bad thoughts! And simultaneously I see about 20000 also was taken from my credit card account without any prior notice of the uses details. This is absolutely unethical to take money from account without a notice and misuse of credit card details! So I have spent almost 23000 rupees for about 60 mins of talk and 128 MB of data which is almost nothing. However I have no billing information also to verify.that's what thee Matrix guy says. When I contacted their sales guy, they never bothered to entertain. Such a horrible experience
