Extremely disappointed with the service we have received from Matrix for Europe tour. My trip became miserable…and couldn’t really divert my attention from the horrible nightmare. We had taken 2 SIM, one prepaid of INR 2999 and another postpaid of 499 rupees. After several phone call the delivery person arrived very last moment in hurry. The fellow exchanged the SIM and between postpaid and prepaid. I enquired If I can check if it is working, he said it will only get activated once I am in Europe. In Europe I was supposed to have prepaid in my mobile but had postpaid and for my wife’s had prepaid(according to Matrix). However the prepaid one always kept saying it has Zero balance, so no calls were possible. Hence I was confident that we are using the right SIM in right handsets. Al of a sudden one of the representative from India called said your uses have become about 20000 rupees because of 128MB data uses in Postpaid connection. My total uses was certainly below the free uses in Prepaid card I was of huge shock which kept bothering me for rest of the tour was with all the bad thoughts! And simultaneously I see about 20000 also was taken from my credit card account without any prior notice of the uses details. This is absolutely unethical to take money from account without a notice and misuse of credit card details! So I have spent almost 23000 rupees for about 60 mins of talk and 128 MB of data which is almost nothing. However I have no billing information also to verify.that's what thee Matrix guy says. When I contacted their sales guy, they never bothered to entertain. such a horrible experience

    My matrix number [protected]. I had paid 3k for prepaid europe mobile services. Matrix service executive didn't let me to test the sim card in India. I asked him to give me a micro sim but he cut the sim in to a nano and I couldn't use it during my europe trip as my mobile is not compatable for a nano sim. I was left in a tough situation of not having a mobile through out my trip.

      I had purchased sim card for Jakarta Indonesia with unlimited data plan for INR 999. I have the receipt sent by the Matrix team saying that I did purchase this plan, However your BD is now denying that I ever purchased the plan - I DON'T KNOW WHAT MORE EVIDENCE do you need other than the receipt I received from MATRIX. Due to this, my data plan was never activated and now I have been slapped a bill of INR 14, 671.43 for the negligence from your side. As usual, your customer service reps have no idea how to resolve this and giving vague answers to my numerous phone calls. I regret doing any business with you guys!

        Numbers Not Working During Tours

        The numerous follow-ups to activate the sim issued to us for China have been in vain; as I was unable to receive / make any phone calls in the said country. I was able to receive calls only twice; moreover there was no data access provided as per agreement / undertaking.         Wrong promise provided by the sales person at the time of purchase. Hidden and confusing tariff structure. False advertisement that they are cheaper infact they are exorbitantly high. My bill should have been Rs.3000/- instead it is Rs.1, 10, 000/- !!! They charge Rs.180000/- for 5GB data pack that is Rs.3800/- easily available in Dubai to anybody. I took a post paid sim for Dubai with 1 GB data pack 1. I wanted a prepaid number with data services but sales guy pushed for post-paid sim saying that data services are not available on prepaid and there would be no data available after a data pack finishes on the post-paid sim hence no need to worry. 2. Their mobile service provider in Dubai called "DU" has a consumer protection policy that is one data pack exhausts the data service will stop. This they have clearly mentioned on their website as well as i have written confirmation from "DU" via email. http://www.du.ae/personal/mobile/data/databundles#undefined4 Check terms and condition point number 3. Now what master cheat aka MATRIX do is... 3. They did not activate 1 GB data instead first 100 MB data pack. If a customer consumed less than 100 MB data, Matrix would pay for 100 MB to their service provider while charging for 1 GB from the customer. 5. Then they activated 5 GB data pack that it bypasses the consumer protection policy of their service provider and the customer would fall in the trap o[censored]sing more than 1 GB data.. so that can charge the customer "Pay per use" ... Now while matrix pays their service provider AED 200 (approx. Rs.3800/-) (for additional 5 GB data) but they can charge approx. Rs.38, 000/- per GB i.e. Rs.1, 80, 000/- for something that is Rs.3800/- only. 6. I have planned to a) approached Vigilance Department of Department of Telecom (DoT) requested them for a meeting. Check newspaper articles DoT planned to criminally prosecute them http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/[protected]/news/30160418_1_sim-car... b) I have consulted an advocate in supreme court, and i reaching out to as many cheated customer to bring this matter to public knowledge. c) I have written to Zee TV and NDTV who regularly do coverage on cheat companies. Will not spare them. Will spend this money to fight it out and spread the word about them but not give them a rupee of my hard earned money.

        Auto Detect Money even after contract is over

        I paid all the bill amount to Matrix and I disconnected my no. Matrix sent me mail for disconnection and contract over mail also. Now again they are detecting money from my credit card with out informing me

          I had taken two travel Sims for Russia - one for voice and one for data, however they have charged voice on my data and doubled the bill. I have asked them to clarify the bill before charging on my account but they went ahead and charged my credit card inspite of my request to hold on. The bill should only be for data as the calling was made through the voice sim, but they are not correcting neither are they willing to acknowledge or respond. Due to this, I am forcefully charged double for the SIM.

            I had purchased 2 SIm for my DUbai visit from Matrix cellular from Mumbai airport . ANd they have inflated bills like anything and posted a bill of 19831.03 Rs and a single entry of 12000+ rs for data usage which is completely fraud .When asked about original bill from Etisalat they are refusing to give the same.which clearly tells they r cheating consumers Please beware of this company it is a clear cut cheat. Also, 12% surcharge and 12.36% service tax are applicable on all tariffs available, and these are mentioned in the tariff sheet attached. As data pack did not work for you and same was reported to us, we are waiving off an amount of INR 1009.25 (data pack charges) from the bill number THA4211937. Hope, it clarifies and addresses your concern raised.

                I, along with a friend, had taken a Matrix card for our visit to Thailand, which lasted a week (April 3rd-April 11th). A total sum of INR 10, 000 has been deducted from the account, against the stated cost of INR 1800 (for usage within the limit) per connection. They have failed us to give any information or explanation for the usage. Apparently, according to Matrix company policy, billing without an invoice is perfectly normal. Extremely disappointed. This is robbery in broad daylight. It is high time these guys were taught a lesson in court.

                  On 3rd april 2014 - There is no signal bar instead there is a red triangle with cross and emergency calls only. I am in UK. I don't know any matrix store also in UK. I have given that number for all my job applications and need that number to be active. After sending them this mail they came back saying my number is barred and we cannot do anything till monday.When I mailed on monday they sent mail saying that their uk network provider has withdrawn n all uk sims are barred. I have given this number to all companies i need the number so i thought ill try portability I called customer service thrice asking help and they hung up on me without response.

                    I was told that the plan was 2, 999/- for 15 days. It was supposed to come to 6, 000/- for my 1 month trip to US. I was charged 9, 000/- !! 1. there is no transparency in the plan. their sales person talks something on the phone. and in-spite of my repeated emails/watzapp messages - you did not provide me a copy of my plan/agreement in the beginning. 2. their salesperson promised that i can use the data as a hotspot on my phone. I realized i cannot do it only after i landed in US and after multiple phone calls and emails- that i can only use it as a phone data. so i had to buy a separate data plan locally for my laptop. If i had know this earlier - i would not have gone for 2GB data. 3. the support is pathetic - they have 48-72 hours turn-around time, which age are they in ? the salesperson does not respond after he sold the connection. 4. I asked for access to my usage reports online. I was not provided. 5. They did not give me a bill and already charged my account with 9, 000/ whereas the bill should have been 6, 000/- It is a clear case of cheating and misuse of my credit card.

                        Dispute of Charge raised by Matrix tech solutions for +1-[protected] Dear Sir, My daughter was going to USA for her studies and I needed to have a roaming connection for two weeks, to keep in touch with my child. Her travel was on 13 Jan and I needed the service till 28 Jan 2015, till she takes a regular card o[censored]SA. A matrix agent told me that he can sell a postpaid connection valid for that duration and it will cost Rs. 2650 and I made the payment by cheque and that amount was debited to my account on 26 Jan 2015. Subsequently on 26 Jan through email addressed to matrix [[protected]@matrix.in], I had asked them to terminate the connection within the time line of the service period 28 Jan 2015 for which the amount of Rs. 2650/- was paid. I was surprised to see them sending a mail on 12 Mar stating that my bill is ready. I immediately responded to them stating that this connection was stopped on 26 Jan and why the bill getting generated now. My Jan usage was within the allowed free usage limits and there was no over usage, knowing very well the “shylock” mentality of matrix tech solutions. Then after two days got a mail stating that thanks for the payment of Rs. 3199.81. I would like to dispute this charge as this is a fraudulent charge raised by Matrix on a connection which was stopped well within the usage period and the full amount was paid up front. While I spoke to Matrix on their call center number they started saying we do not charge any money when the card is sold and we only bill later. Then I asked them who got this Rs. 2650/- which was credited to Matrix tech solutions. For which they asked me to mail sending the attachment of charge and they will look in to it. A mail was sent to them on 17 Mar 2015, so far not responded by them. In view of the above stated reasons you are requested to deny the payment of Rs 3199.81 raised by Matrix tech solutions.                           Matrix executive sold me wrong Dubai SIM card for my phone. The card never worked on my phone but they charged 450 Rs for that.

                          Not just that, without any notification they charged 315 to my credit card. The cradit card details were shared with them for previous transactions.

                            We had taken a matrix connection while going to Europe in the month of Sept 2013. They gave us 2 SIM cards, one which could be used all over Europe and the other country specific card. We were told that In coming calls would be completely free of charge. We were not told that GPS and internet packs are preactivated on the SIM cards. We had not asked for any internet or GPS facility either. They charged us for using GPS and sms to numbers in India. The fact is we did not send even one SMS to the number they have listed. That fact can be verified from BSNL, to which they claim we have sent sms. My phone was not a smart phone either. Hence GPS was not in use also. I have already paid the amount of Rs.3726/- towards the cost of the SIM cards and the actual usage which we verified from the itemised bills which they sent. In spite of having paid the above money in their account in HDFC Bank ( a/c number [protected]) in Delhi, they are sending us reminders to pay. In the month of Dec 2014, I spoke to one of the executives ( Inderjit Singh, cell number [protected]) from Delhi. When I complained about wrong billing and excess billing and mentioned about going to consumer forum, he said, I will reduce the bill by Rs. 1200/-. He asked me to pay Rs. 4500/- to close the matter. I refused to pay that amount as it was not my fault and I refused to pay for the facility or service that i have not used . I have already lodged a complaint on the website in the month of Dec 2014. I forgot to save the acknowledgement number. Hence, I am lodging a complaint again. Please look into the matter urgently as Matrix Cellular is unnecessarily harassing me for paying the entire bill amount of Rs. 5767/-.

                              Matrix cellular has debited my icici bank credit card no xxx9111 without our consent and knowledge or prior intimation.Kindly instruct matrix cellular to refund the amount debited to our icici bank credit card no xxx 9111 immediately and confirm the same per return e-mail
                              Matrix cellular has debited my icici bank credit card of mr gaurav sushil raje for rs 1257/-without the consent and authorisation of my son and also withou our knowledge.
                              We had taken their sim card last year in december, 2014 for a limited period of one year only. For my son mr gaurav sushil raje who wentvabroad to usa last year . We had informed their company representative after six months that we will not require their sim card service for the next year since our payment was made for one year basis only. But howrver thayvhavexon their own renewed the sim card for the current year without our requirement and knowledge.

                              I have been cheated by matrix cellular company since they have debited rs 1257/-to icici bank credit card no xxx 9111 without our consent and prior intimation or authorized transaction
                              We had purchased matrix cellular sim card for a limited period of one year in december, 2014 for my son mr gaurav sushil raje and paid rs 1759/-towards the services for one year only but to our surprise they have debited to our icici bank credit card no xxx 9111 foe current year 2015
                              Without our requirement and knowledge.Kindly ask the matrix cellular to reverse the debit transaction and confirm the same per return e-mail or call me on my mobile no.[protected]

                              Matrix Cellular had unauthorised debited my icici bank credit card above mentioned amount without our consent and without our knowledge illegally and delaying reversal of payment purposely.

                                I took a sim card for my travel to USA in October last year. I was supposed to fly with Etihad which goes via Abu Dhabi. The Matrix employ send me 3 sim cards. One for USA and two for UAE-going and return. I asked him why? and he said, just for your comfort during layover time and there is no extra or hidden charges. My USA sim card came with 1000 minute free talk time to India. I paid approx. 4000 rupees cash for sim card service, which he said will be adjusted in the final bill. When I returned to India on 1.11.2014, I send back all the three cards to Matrix. They sent me a bill of 5500 something, which I thought would be adjusted with the cash I paid in the beginning. To the utmost shock and surprise to me, the Matrix people swiped my card and charged Rs. 5800/- (approx.) and then 1, 25, 000/- from my credit card, without my authorisation or even pre-information. They told me that Rs. 1, 63, 000/- is payable for data usages charges on the UAE card, which was never asked by me and never used also. (I have a local sim card o[censored]AE, as I am a resident there). It is shameful and a broad light robbery.

                                  Hi,

                                  I have taken Canadian Sim in New Delhi from 11th Jan, 2015 to 1st Feb, 2015. For activation I received a confirmation e-mail asking to confirm providing the details, in the mail only the Bill Cycle which is from 7th-6th was mentioned, but no where bill generation date was mentioned. When later after few days I enquired for the unbilled statement customer support told me to wait for the bill generation which is suppose to be 22nd February (tentative). When I asked for customer care that no where about this bill generation date was mentioned while taking confirmation from the customers they were like apologizing. Now my problem is I wanted to claim this in my company as my travel ends by 1st February, as per my company policy I should settle everything by 1week of travel. Now if this guys delays till 22nd February which is again tentative I need to spend it with my pocket.

                                  When I asked the customer care why this information was hidden, they were not able to answer.. I need the bill within 1st week of February. And not sure what are the other hidden information this guys have, companies like this should be avoided and not sure where to escalate this matter.

                                  Fraudulent credit card deductions

                                  Matrix has been deducting amounts from my credit card relating to bills which don't even belong to me. And their customer support is full of liars who promise to resolve it but do absolutely nothing.

                                    Yes, i too agree. Matrix is a real fraud. They find out some ways and
                                    Means to over charge you. My recent experience has been when i took a
                                    Sim for singapore and they offer some plans which were lucarative enough
                                    And also charged me a security deposit. Later when i recieved my bill
                                    That state that i have exceeded my data usage limit and are comelling me
                                    To pay around 4500 rs. They will give you a matrix bill which is just
                                    Fictious. I use a iphone and when i had reset my data, i had noted that
                                    My last usage was much more less that what they claim.in short they are
                                    Cheaters. I am filing a case in the consumer courts and also with the
                                    Consumer department of the delhi government. Beware of these frauds.

                                    As we explained over the email, bill is already validated with Network partner. Usages billed are genuine.As you mentioned that there is a difference in the total data usages captured in your handset log and the data mentioned in the bill, here the reason is that Telecom Operators always mention usages in 100 KB increment(same as pulse rate for calls as 1 min). This is mentioned in the tariff as well which was shared and accepted at your end.

                                      Me and wife travelled to Thailand on Oct 31 till Nov 5th 2013 from Bangalore. We took a matrix Thailand sim card from Bangalore Airport. They asked for the ID proof and to pay Rs. 2000/- as advance charges. We came back on Nov 5th and submitted the sim card to Matrix Executive. I was using the Sim card to receive calls and hardly made any calls. From the day I am trying to reach matrix to get my bill details. They informed bill get generated after 2 months. Finally I got a bill generated and it was wrong. The bill was from Period Nov 7th till Nov 30th or so which I am not even aware. Generated bill was for Rs. 1200+. I called up the customer care and informed the same. They told there are some confusions in the bill which will be sorted out and the remaining amount we will send the cheque. In between I was receving many tortures from matrix for not paying the bill, whereas I am expecting a cash refund after taking the bill amount from the advance amount. They called to all my references which I gave while taking the SIM and was too rude. Finally I escalated the issue and had solved the issue with their manager (the guy who called told so). After 3 months I got the remaining amount Rs. 700/- as cheque. Still I dont have a proper bill which I have asked so that I can check how they have billed Rs. 1300/-. I didnt want to take the pain again and again and I left the case like that. Again after a month i started receving calls and msgs telling i need to pay a bill amount of Rs. 1109/-. I called them and asked to pass the detailed bill. The send me a bill which was from Nov 15-31 by some other guy. I told them clearly about the issues happened in past and clarrifed. Till now the issue is not cleared and I still get calls from Matrix every now and then asking for payment. This torture is too much.
