Matrix charged me for SMS sent internationally to those countries where no msg was sent. They charged me internet usage bill when i was in the AIR, dont know how their system picket up internet usage when i was in Jet Airways flying above singapore. Also when i was sleeping it shows internet usage and that too in free wifi zone. Best of all msg sent to India was not even picket up ... Surprise they missed this as they like fleecing money dont know how they missed it ... Was mad enough to take 2 SIM cards. ... Never again ...

this issue is for user rad1 .

I have different issue and I dont have any signed acceptance of tariff plan change which is done after my departure from idia and noyt communicated over phone or SMS .
But sent email to which couldnot replay as I didnt have internet access during my tour.

This is unfair way of billing excess to customer.
Same should have been communicated over phone or SMS.

I have purchased Matrix cellular SIM for singapore and malasiya
1- I asked for prepaid sim, but got Postpaid sim
2- sales person trying to sell higher rental plan.
3- I took least rental plan of 99 .
4- didnt took Internet plan as i know not going to use internet during my vacation / holiday
MAY Fault didn't took counter signature from Matrix team seal

Issue started after i returned from trip
1- My mobile phone used about 4mb unkowingly
2- Saw there was email from Matrix which says " if customer do not respond it will automatically deemed to be accepted"
3- Matrix added SGD26 100MB data pack .
I dont have any other intimation neither SMS nor phone call that your account has been added with this Plan untill i returned.

4- I raised complaint that I havent opted for this pack.
Matrix argument is you havent rejected our email .
My argument is i havent saw email untill i returned and after comming from vacation there is no point in rejection as it forced me to respond in 24hours after receiving email

SO this is Matrix modus operandi of cheating customer.

On contacting Nodal Officer Shashank he rejected my claim saying that we dont have such plan and all plans come with default pack .

Paper on which I signed is and submitted is Fake. I obtained it before 10th october 2015 and sending email to them now.

This article is to alert customer to have proper documents sign documents with date .
Better donot Buy Matrix sims or you will be in legal loopholes of Indian law system

Other Option is
1- At airport or in market give your Passport copy and obtain a prepaid sim
It will be always be cheaper from MATRIX sim.
The carges are not as the sheet provided to me at the Bangalore international airport .

I have sent attached Tariff sheet for which I agreed. Please see the above statements
I havent opted for 100MB plan it is FORCEFULLY ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT

    DONT BUY MATRIX SIM As billing of matrix sim is not fair. Instead take visiting country prepaid sim that will be much cheaper and in your budget. I have taken Matrix sim of Rs99/- rental( though I insisted for prepaid sim) . No internet plan My visit is 3 days. Next day of you visit they will send you change in Plan email. and if you do not accept or reject they taken it as accepted. They do so as you are in vacation and will not go in depth of its intricacies . I recieved the bill of Rs2347/- @sgd= INR 47.99 plus service tax of 14% over the SIngapore surcarges inshort tried top bill custome as much as possible. Issues 1- Default plan to be activate and as per my copy was 50MB data plan cost o SGD 12 But thye charged me for 100MB plan i.e SGD 26+ SGD3 - SGD 29 Beware consumers and save your self

      Finally I had disconnected from the Matrix Cellular Service(who they provide international sim cards for people/corporate, located in New Delhi) after the worst experience I had faced with them. Unfortunately my company(FIS) had a cooperation with them.Matrix team were not communicated properly about their tariff plans and did not mentioned about the toll free charging part. They also did not mentioned about auto-debit feature about my credit card as they were telling only that credit card information, they are collecting only for security reasons. I got a bill of $210 for my US trip in just a month and I got surprised that, majority was for toll free.They debited my credit card without my permission as well. I currently raised a dispute against their transactions. When I escalated to one senior employee of matrix named Nayab Ahmed, he told me that, they cannot refund any money as they have received my confirmation before taking the connection. I repeatedly telling him that, matrix team didn't share the tariff plans properly with me. They just shared the call charge details except the toll free part. They have not talked anything about the toll free plan verbally as well. The worst part is that, that this guy is telling we cannot do any actions as we already communicated to you that we cannot refund any money and hence closing this defect. What the hell it is. They do not have a any proof that they send tariff plan attachments to me. Still they are telling they cannot do anything. The worst ever providers. I will not be happy until I get the refund from them. I will make sure to inform this to while corporate offices and inform the entire world about your worst services and everything., until I get the refund. Go to hell Matrix Team!
      Share this to maximum companies guys. Let us throw these kind of services from our Country.
      First I should inform my company FIS to change the corporate sim services to some other providers
      They are already known as misleading customers for hidden charges. Here is the news article already appeared in news papers.

        This is with regards to the sim card i took from matrix for hongkong. my parents were travelling after a long time out of India. i had submitted all the necessary documents and payment details to get a matrix card. After reaching Hongkong it was continuously showing No sim inspite of many efforts. Because of such problem they had to face many issues and we were not to get in touch with them. In India here we got so much worried as online it was showing their flight has arrived but we were not able to get in touch with them. They were without mobile phone for an entire week. we suffered so much mental harassment because of Matrix poor service. Please take legal action on Matrix India. The matrix details are as follow.           We had taken a Turkey SIM for 10 days and to our shock, received a bill where Matrix had changed local turkey numbers we had dialled (ISD 090) to South Africa numbers (ISD 025). The entire number was the same except the ISD code. We sent them the screenshot where the dialled numbers, date and duration is clearly seen and escalated it 3 levels. They keep replying saying the charges are genuine and just ignore the screenshots we share! We want to claim damages and wrongful accusation and such blatantly unethical behaviour.

            I bought a sim, the executive told me that if I pay 2000 he will give a sim with £17.5 currency which is close to 1750 rupees. He said that the validity is 30 days from the first call I make. I needed data so I asked and he said matrix doesn't have any data options. I had to pay close to 800 to get data on Vodafone. After the 2nd or 3rd day of me reaching here I'm not able to make any calls. Then matrix says that the plan was 15 days from the date of purchase (not 30 days from the day i make the first call) validity with 300 currency (not 1750) and data(which the executive says was not there in matrix services). On complaining and escalating repeatedly the company writes back saying sticker was outdated. How the hell can a customer know that the sticker is outdated(picture attached). Then they say the technical team has resolved the issue when all it did was call twice to ask what the problem was.

              I received message on my mobile [protected] at 4.15pm that my SBI credit card xxxx xxxx xxxx 3011debited with Rs.5000/by MATRIX INTERNATIONAL. In this connection, I submit we took 3 sim cards for our trip to singapore.malaysia, thailand from 7/9/15 to16/9/2015 and they took xerox copy of my sbi credit card .On 17/9/15 they mailed a bill for Rs255.36 and debited our card on 21/9/15. Now without bill and without any details they now debited today (29/9/2015) Rs.5000/-. As no details are received from the company and the amount is in round rupees of 5000, I suspect a fraudulant transaction and I request you to reverse the payment. Thanking YOU.                 Matrix has cheated me for 20 pounds by giving wrong info and selling wrong product!! Matrix sold me sim card saying its international sim card and for UK!! Also, charged me for 2300/- for first recharge!! I was supposed to be getting 750 mins free calls to india and local UK no.s, along with free calls to UK toll free no.s !! But Matrix has gone ahead and charged me for even toll free nos!! My question is why? When Matrix claims its providing local sim card, why the heck it should charge for toll free nos?? Matrix also charges calls made to emergency nos!! While Matrix claims that its charging fairly, but its not!! There is no matrix network in most places in UK and moreover, recharges has to be done online only!!! Matrix customer service is lazy and pathetic followed by nodal team which adds to misery!! Matrix is mismanaged stupid organization cheating people with wrong info!!! I need my money back which matrix has wrongly taken from me!!

                Matrix international sim card is always considered roaming irrespective of what company claims! You pay for roaming charges and no access to Toll free emergency nos at all! Matrix misleads people by saying its local sim card while its not!

                Second thing when ever you recharge, you dont full talk time, matrix charges for recharge, while other local operators dont! I was cheated for 20 Pounds by Matrix!

                Matrix has hired cheaters and placed at airports who fool people! they make you pay 2000 or 2500 for matrix while they have basic plans which they say its not available! I was cheated at Mumbai Airport!

                Matrix is fraud company and cheating ppl saying that it saves money but looting ppl money!

                  Hi, One of my friend who traveled to Singapore few months back, was charged with more than 2 lack rupees for using data services for 3 days, which he never opted for. I was completely shocked when he told me about it this morning. I’m still not able to digest how could it be possible. Seems he has received few calls forcing him for payment. He settled some amount in due course. I wanted to understand the breakdown of how these charges were applied. In the current world many public places are giving free internet, where Matrix is charging thousands and thousands for data usage. I’m planning to connect with such victims and see whether these kind of cases are really addressed by Matrix Cellular group or not. I'm also planning to take this up to next level (i.e., media - both national and international, ministry of telecom and respective authorities).

                    Had taken a Australia SIM from Matrix, it was for 500MB. I recd emails from Matrix during my trip that the data usage was ~130 Mb. However, when i got a bill, they mentioned that my usage was ~1.8GB !!! and a abill for approx 49000/. My mobile data tracker shows the data usage of 153 Mb. I am ready to accept 10-15% variation on it. But MATRIX is FRAUD. I am lucky that i have been able to block the payment from my corporate card. Looks like we will have to settle the bill in court, unless Matrix comes to senses. Anyway, MATRIX has lost its customer for life and i am going to get my company blacklist Matrix

                      I have bought a matrix SIM last month for Indonesia, as discussed with the agent only one bill was suppose to be generated which i had already paid last month. Now this month again an amount of Rs 683 has been deducted from my HDFC Bank Credit Card without my authorisation and this bill was not suppose to be there since as per the initial discussion with the agent there was only one bill for 10 days that i was travelling. Kindly get this fix asap and get the amount reverted back.

                        Bought a UK plan from Blore Airport, which said incoming free. Later friends told that local UK incoming calls were diverted to India and their service provider charged them heavily. No such warning in contract handed over at the airport. NEVER BUY MATRIX SIM from Airports.

                          Dear sir, I flew to Australia for about 2 montsh and took a matrix sium from International Airport Mumbai.The plan was of Rs. 5000 (as such which i was informed). My credit card details were taken from me.(which was a huge mistake from my end) I was not at all informed that : A.) The sim needs to be returned. B.) The wareaboots of the plan. The Rs. 5000 was deducted(along with some tax) one fine day when i was in Australia. Now since the plan was only for a month hence i did not paid any heed to it and thought that the plan got closed. Post which one day i got 5 messages getting a transcationof 2000, 1000, 5000, 5000 from my credit card all spend on Matrix Cellular. I was shocked to see that and contacted the team. I got a responce that i am been charged rs. 87000 for the total iternary. As, "Apparantly" my data got exhausted and this is data charge for 3 days, which according to me is a big fraud, cause atleast a message stating your data pack is exhausted would have been fine. I would have taken care for the same. I asked them to provide me the breakage of the bill and Here's the catch, till now i havent recieved any bill or E-bill or any information on this for that matter.But the money which is gone is gone. Now suddenly today aftervthe course of 3 months, i got a call from Matrix stating that my bill payment is due and now apparantly i have also been overcharged for the late payment and they are threatning me for Legal Notice. I really dont understand at all that where was the company from last 3 months and now suddenly asking for the clearance along with late payment.? If that's the case why is the E-bill not provided to me? and lastly, why are these things not informed to the customer prior to taking the sim. Who is to bear the losses? for a plan of Rs. 5000 if a customer has to pay 87000, isnt there a big fraud going on the name of a company called "Matrix Cellular" How can a customer know that his/her plan got exhausted?atleast some infromation should have been provided, or else the net usage should stop. This is a big fraud. I dont even have money to pay to the company, how am i supposed to do the clearance. I dont want to take HARD WAYS and want this to be cleared Also, major question

                            Hello Dera sir, I traveklled to Australia for a short term role, and took a matric cellular sim from Mumbai international Airport. I was informed that the plan will cost me Rs. 5000 foir the entire run whcih would allow 2 GB data usage and 1500 local and international minutes free. After using the sim for about 30 days ai got a message stating that the card will expire, so if i want to continue i should call respond in either yes or no, for which i denied. After returning back from Australia i was shocked to see that my credit card got a bill deducted of Rs. 47000. When checked with the matrix cellular team they informed me that. The net pack got exhausted 3 days before closing the card and a total bill of ammount 80, 000 has been generated for the over net usage. THis is a big fraud for a customer, as a package of 5000, which allows 2G usage has been overcharged for 3 days net usage, that too without any information. Now, i denied to pay the rest of the bill, and they are calling me up after 4 months to pay the rest of bill inclusing the late payment charges. This company is a big scam and they just want to make money with their unjustified money making schemes. I have seen several such cases with the matrix sim itself. I hope that any actions would be taken against these selfish and fraud moneymakers.

                            Hi Sonal,
                            I saw your posting on the fraudulent charges by Matrix. I just wanted to check with you if you have received any response from the customer care on this matter. One of my friend who travelled to Singapore few months back, was charged with INR 2, 45, 300 for using data services for 3 days, which he never opted it seems. I was completely shocked when he told me about it this morning. I’m still not able to digest how could it be possible. In the current world many public places are giving free internet, where Matrix is charging thousands and thousands for data usage. I’m not able digest, I’m planning to connect with such victims and see whether these kind of cases are really addressed by Matrix Cellular group or not.

                            Please suggest me if you have any thoughts.

                              I had taken a matrix number for two days for my trip to Bangkok. In total I made I outgoing and 2 incoming calls and did not use mobile data as my package did not permit and my hotel had provided wifi . I was surprised to receive a SMS from my bank that 10000/ has been charged by matrix. On enquiring they informed that my usage is above ten thousand and once the bill is generated only then anything can be done . My bill generation took over a month and a bill of 13589/ was received by me .Inspite of me writing seven mails to them no one has bothered to speak with me.??The so called contract forwarded to me about the terms has my signatures FORGED..Extremely upset about the way i have been cheated and will definitely take the legal course...

                                We have purchased 2 International Sim Cards (nos. [protected] and [protected]) for UK from Matrix Cellular in the month of May 2015 for our Director. It was told that there will be all incoming, outgoing, messages, 1 GB Data free for UK @ Rs.4000/- each card. We told them that our Director would be travelling to Switzerland for 6 days where he will use GPS. The executive from Matrix told that 1GB date is more than enough for GPS and if any top up is required in-case the 1GB is over will help in doing it accordingly. Incoming and outgoing will not be free during that period. We accepted the same and proceeded. When our Director reached Switzerland, he started getting random messages in both the numbers (mentioned above) that the usage charges are 12500/- each. We immediately informed the Matrix Customer Care on 28/05/2015 regarding the same. Matrix informed they cannot do anything till the bills are generated. The bill which was generated was Rs.31676.36/- (combined) and now they are sending us Pre-litigation Letter to pay Rs.11676.36/- balance as they have already charged Rs.20000/- to our Director's Credit Card with giving any intimation. I would like to seek your help as it is not accepted that you take a plan of Rs.4000/- each and pay Rs.31676.36/-. Therefore, please help us regarding the same and oblige.

                                We have not agreed on any tariff plan...it was told to us that only Rs.4000/- will be charged for each numbers and if in any case data is over they will do the top-up.
                                Please make sure that it is a total case of misrepresenting a customer to achieve sales target and then harass them for the same.

                                  On the 27th of december 2015, I contacted a sales executive of Matrix Cellular for a thailand Sim card.I had already informed about the 3g data and opted for a 3g package of 3 GB for Rs 3600. After reaching Thailand, the Sim card was used for 3 days and 3G was used only for Iphone Facetime audio with total data usage upto 2.5 GB.After a month I received a bill of Rs 65, 000, with 57, 000 worth 3G data usage. After checking their bill details, I was shocked to see that they have automatically charged me irrespective of my 3G usage.They have even charged me when my cellphone was switched off.The 3G plan i requested for was not even activated.Explaining to their executives after coming back to India was of no use.They apparently have no details of any package I opted for or any form I signed. Now they are threatening me with a legal notice.I am shocked that companies like Matrix Cellular thinks that costumers are unaware of what and how they use a service. I request everyone to stay for this company.

                                  They are like that only. Instead of working on customer service they are busy on sell. After my experience with these guys, I feel Reliance Passport is much better. At least there you know that you are paying a high rate but you won't be cheated. I believe they should start focusing on customer service ASAP, otherwise their plan to earn from IPO will be ruined. No one would like to invest in a company which has zero credential towards its customer.

                                  Same happened with me.

                                  I am charged rs 87000 on a plan of 5000Rs, with allowable data usage of 2GB.

                                  Had this been the case they should have informed the customer about the same. No information about the data exhausted and charged me for 3 days data usage equivalent to Rs. 87000.

                                  a big FRAUD companuy.

                                  Already used my credit card details and fetched 47000 and are expecting the rest of the money to be paid

                                    1. I went to USA with Matrix sim. Matrix sim did not work at most places. Imagine. I was standing on road. Tring to call a cab. But Matrix Sim is not working. And I am standing in ice without cab. Just because Matrix Sim did not work. 2. I fixed my meeting with client. We decided to meet at a place. After reaching that place, I tried to call my client to know where he is sitting but I lost my client. Reason? Matrix Sim was not working. 3. I tried to call my home to update my family that I am ok. Not possible. Reason? Matrix Sim was not working. 4. Just imagine, I am in USA. And No sms. No phone call. No outgoing. No incoming. No internet. No google. No emails. Nothing. Reason? Matrix Sim was not working. 5. Can anybody please tell me how can a foreigner survive in USA without a phone? I spent 5 Lakh rupees on my trip to meet my clients. All waste. Reason? Matrix Sim was not working. 6. In this regard, I contacted every possible person in company. I even tried to contact from USA to Matrix. I sent sms. Sent emails. Made phone call to Matrix India. But zero result. My 5 Lakh wasted. Reason? Matrix Sim was not working. 7. After coming back to India, I contacted Matrix company. Nobody is listening. I sent email to many persons. I have all records with me. But nobody is even trying to understand my problem. This is worst company. 8. My Friends, if you are taking Matrix Sim to your foreign trip, please take care. Just imagine, if I need to make a call at 911 for any emergenyc there, what would have happened? Imagine without phone connectivity? So why to take risk? 9. After that, I have already gone abroad many times and I am suggesting everybody that brother, please DO NOT use Matrix Sim. It is injurious to your business, your clients, your family and even to your life because in any emergency, you can not use your phone. 10. Matrix Sim are useless. No Connectivity at Most Places.

                                    1. I sent you all details on same day when you sent me above message (Aug4, 2015). But so far, I had no update from your side. It appears that you too are working as per Matrix culture that do not care of client's problems.

                                    2. Rather, Matrix Sim has asked me to appear in court on Aug8, 2015. So now I have no other option but to appear in court and defend myself.

                                    3. I would like to ask for CDR in court which Matrix Sim has not provided me so far. In that Matrix Sim Call Details Record, I want to see which are those calls for which Matrix Sim is asking me to pay.

                                    4. If most of those calls were made to Matrix.in and staff of Matrix.in, then it would be evident that all such calls were made to lodge a complaint with Matrix.in. That will establish that Matrix.in Sim was not working properly in USA. And thats why, I was bound to make Matrix.in call from USA as I was seeking help.

                                    5. It means that Matrix.in is asking me to pay for those complaint calls, which I was forced to make to Matrix.in, because Matrix.in SIM was not working properly in USA.

                                    6. So anybody who wants to buy Matrix.in SIM for his international travel, please be careful. This may happen to you also. You may buy Matrix Sim. That may not work in your foreign trip. And when you make call to Matrix.in for help, then you have to pay Matrix.in on such international calls.

                                      Sir, i fly to china for 4 days i buy sim from matrix at rs 600 and deposs it of rs 6000.00, after reaching back same day i give there sim, after a week they send a bill of r s 12000, 00. Saying that i used internet, but hai din, t use they say your mobil was woking inside, i really not know there internet i have to pay rs 12000.00 in just 4 days, if i was stay for month i was out of this country pay more then one lack rs.                                         we have been raised a bill for month of july for rs 87.95 and it has been taken also form the credit card we gave to matrix just for authentication. the sim was taken back by matrix person bharat kumar on 3rd june 2015 and when we don't have the sim how can we use it.
                                        a big mistake we did by taking sim form matrix an then giving our credit card details which they can charge whenever they want without even asking us. i need them to reverse this amount to my card immediately and stop using my card hereafter or i will have to file a fraud case.
