Dear concern,
As i come to finally, max bupa has started its health insurance policies with lots of false advertising..
I am rajinder pal singh writting you with lots of heart pain that i opened your health insurance policy [protected] onn 29th september, 3 years back with total lies from your office apex financial, jallandhar., it was telephonic conversation..., i dnt know the name of that person but he misguided me totaly by saying that your premium will not increase untill uyou dont claim (Starting with 15000/-) now its went upto 31000, as i want mention you i am having small buisness with single member earing in my family,, i am not understanding how its going double after 3 years,... Without claiming anything with god grace... The last date of my policy is 29th september which is crossed (Now i am in grace period)... I opened my policy for the reputation of max bupa in industry... But i never this much fraud can happend with me... By such a big company like max bupa.. Plz sir my age is 63.. As i am writing this mail such positive response, as nobody is giving me the write path in office, or an agent... I cant pay such big amount 31000/- from my daily saving.. I hope u understand... Last year i pay 22500/- for the request of your agent as he said,, that my premium will not increased now onwards (Again lying)... All i want to hoping a positive solution from your side... I am helpless,,, very dissapoited,, i dnt want to countue my policy,, plz

    I was given health insurance saying that it's cashless for 2 hrs of hospitalisation but yesterday my son fell and got deep cut on his lips we reached medanta they clearly said max bupa policy is at least 24 hrs for cashless. Later customer care confirmed the same but while selling policy ms astha
    +[protected] lied to me. I have been bluffed. I already had an corporate policy but to cover short term hospitalisation i bought max bupa.

      Dear max team,
      This email is regarding to the claim made by sahara hospital, lucknow.

      My wife got admitted on 20th july 2017 and as that hospital was listed under cash less, i choose sahara hospital. My wise got discharged on 22nd july 2017 and there was a mistake done by hospital. They didn't send the final bill to max. I was told by hospital that the total bill amount is less than approved, so final bill submission to max is not required.
      Later hospital has claimed the amount to max which got rejected. My issue is that there was there was rs. 11642 approx paid by my which i want to claim but i am unable to do the same as hospital's bill is not yet settled. Now your customer care are asking me ti pay the total amount to hospital and get all the amount remembered. Why should i pay that? What is my fault in this? This thing should be settled internally with hospital and max.

        Max bupa health insurance fraud company

        Maxbupa's famous tagline "your health first" is as fake as all their policies and assurance. They are very well known for fooling innocent customers by luring them by adverstisment. They prey on their policy holder's money. I had purchased the health policy for my family on 23rd august, 2016 by paying an amount of rs. 30, 292/-. After a span of four months i was diagnosed with acidity and visited kapadia hospital. I was under the examination of dr modi's rmo and they advised me to get admitted but i denied. Instead i did some tests and sonography as prescribed by them. My reports were normal.
        On 31st may, 2017, i visited matoshree gomati hospital due to acidity. And there i was examined by rmo of dr j k tiwari. Then i was shifted to prarthana hospital on 1st june, 2017 to get hospitalized as there were no beds available in gomati hospital and got discharge on 3rd june, 2017. I paid hospital bills of total amount of rs 27679/- (Twenty seven thousand six seventy nine) in cash.
        I had applied for reimbursement on 29th june and all the required dpcuments had been submitted to the delhi office via courier. On 2nd of august, 2017 i got sms from max bupa and came to know that my claimm has been rejected. I didnt get any mail related to denial of my claim. I had a word with customer care representative ms. Deepa on the very next day and came to know that my claim was rejected for no reason. Later i received email from max bupa where it was mentioned that on opd paper of 23rd dec 2016, i was written 6 to 7 months which is not true. I have all the xerox copy of the same. I read it and there was nothing mentioned there. I mailed my grievance redressal to clear this confusion, ms jyoti was the contacted person and she to failed to give proper explaination on why my claim got rejected. All they told me showing proper documentation was against their guidelines stating it as non discloser. They have send me an non dislcoser form stating i had this problem before buying the policy and if i dont sign the policy will get terminated.
        I have yet not recieved and reply and have lost my money. The false claim and promises of maxbupa is something that is way to famous now. I am not the only one that got ditched by the company. I would only advice everyone to not go on good reviews stated but focuson bad reviews as they are the actual probem that is faced by the customer. We should all stop buying these policy which neither fulfill their promise nor gives a clear idea about all the guidelines. Please do spread awarness so that no other person's money goes to waste. Be a smart customer and dont get fooled by such fraud company.

          Dear all
          Yes, max bupa is really not responding properly to their customers even they were unable to clarify the recently increase in their health insurance premiums.

          I chatted, talked over phone over around 16 hours and wrote emails to ms. Ruchi ramola then to ms. Gargi sahu with their irrelevant replies.

          I have two polices one for my family and another for my mother recently they increased the premiums without any percentage margin limits.
          [protected] (Family) actual percentage increase is 38.53%.
          [protected] (Mother) actual percentage increase is 46.9%.

          In their (Max bupa) transition letter they mentioned the change in premium:

          Change in premium
          Your product has undergone a number of enhancements to ensure that it continues to meet your needs. Coupled with that, medical inflation is currently ~12% per annum. To ensure we are able to provide you access to the best healthcare facilities and treatment when you need it, we have revised your product’s premium. The premium revision is from -8% to +21% depending upon age, family combination and sum insured of the policyholder, for zone 3 customers. We have restructured our zones, with zone 1 and zone 2 customers having a 20% and 10% loading respectively above zone 3.
          [unquote]

          As per zone categorization i am comes under zone 2, the premium for zone 2 shall not cross beyond the mentioned range between minimum and maximum percentage for zone 3.
          For, zone 2 the premium should be (-8% to +21%) + 10% the total should be maximum 31%.
          In case of mine the actual increase in premium percentage is more then that of mentioned their transition letter.

          Even, i asked many times if they have some different interpretation to the above quote clarifying the differences in the premiums but they are unable to explain me.

          The above issue still not resolved...
          Max bupa unable to explain me the Zone 3 premium increase as mentioned in their transition letter -8% to +21%.
          Max bupa need to inform whether the increase in premium is within the given range or it can be any percentage greater than +21%. Which means infinity (no range)?

            I am a policy holder of max bupa health insurance co. Ltd. Since2015

            My policy # [protected] plan opted health companion 15lacs for 2adults & 2 children renewal date 009/08/2017 & premium is rs: 25175.00

            I have paid this year premium on 03/08//2017 through hdfc chq. # 001924 for rs:- 26926.00 only with gst increased (Informed over phone), through our agent rajinder paul kaushal.

            But today on 09th aug, 2017 i was informed by co. That we have not taken renewal cheque as we have changed our policy this month &
            Children above 21years can not covered under family package policy &
            My son prachal gupta, whose dob is 07/09/1994 is not elligible for family package as he is of 23years & you have to take two policies, where as he is covered since 2015
            Now max bupa asks to take two policies as under:

            1. For pardeep gupta + reena gupta (Wife) + rakshit gupta (Son)
            2 for prachal gupta.

            With extra premium of rs: 9000.00 approximate

            Now today is last day of our coverage, i can not switch the company,

            Please let me know what to do.. As my son prachal gupta is doing job in ahmedabad, now how i can take insurance of him.. Secondly our family is now not protected no company will takeover at this time..
            If any mishap happens, who is responsible

            Hi, you need not to bother, simply it is enough to issue separate policies for children with extra premium as the bio data of your family i.e kids are available with insurer & there is a 30 days time for renewal of your policy from due date. Since your kids are less than 35 years of age there is no need for any medicals. In floater policy children up to age of 21 will be covered. Even after issue of separate policy to your children it will be having continuity benefit & you may call insurers toll free no & disclose your request for renewal & issue of new policies for your children, they will arrange some body from company for collecting premiums by cheques at your door step.

              I bought policy from max bupa and they are very supportive till the time i dint paid money. Once money paid they are not even attending calls.
              I bought policy from shashank shrivastav and vikas pandey. While entering policy details they made mistake of dob of my father and for there mistake i am continuous doing followups form these two.

              I got frustrated as after continuous followups from 22 may 17 to 4 august 17 still issue not resolved.
              They dont have any shame on there work as m suffering because of there mistake. I have almost 50 mail conversation for such a small dob change issue.
              I am feeling helpless as they are not even attending my calls now.

                  I mr. Shirshak chavanke have taken online health insurance policy named family first silver 1l+15 bearing policy number[protected] in year 2016. While taking policy your employee named mr. Nirmal kumar explained me all features of policy with future benefits of policy. Since there were two options for loyalty benefits one was gift vouchers and other was increase in basic sum assures by 10% per annum, where i choose for second option i. E. Increase in basic sum assured by 10% per annum. On 6th april 2017 i renewed above said policy without any previous claim. On 11th april i received hard copy of policy in which i came to notice that there is not any increment in basic sum assured or any voucher. Immediately i called customer care and told the said issue, the representative on other side promised me to solve said issue within 48 hours.
                  Upto 4th may 2017 i did not received any call from max bupa insurance company therefore again same day i called customer care and told the above issue, again your representative assured me to solve the complaint and arrange call back within 48 hours. I trusted on your words but until 29th may i dint received any call from your side so same day i again called customer care where i was informed that my complaint has been resolved and new policy has been issued with corrected sum assured. After demanding soft copy same day i received soft copy of corrected policy in which again i found that there is no increment in basic sum assure or any voucher. Policy sent to me was same policy sent previously. It has been two months for my complaint and till today it has not been resolved.

                  You may pleas e mail to [protected]@maxbupa mentioning all the details, so that they will send revised letter confirming 10% of sum assured has been added to existing sum insured i.e.10000/-perlakh X no of persons covered, this infmn is given as i am also one of policy holder of this insurer based on my experience.

                    I am a private insurance buyer. No company is paying for my insurance. I have to shell out from my own pocket yearly for family of 4 o[censored]s and now one more addition to our family which is our new born baby. I have had a emergency c-section on 15th dec 2016 but baby was all fine without any complications. I sent my original hospital bills on 12th january. I did not hear from them despite repeated calls to their mumbai office. Then in the month of april i received courier saying that my claim was rejected without receiving my original bills from maxbupa which i had enclosed along with claim form. They say they will settle claim in 48 hours. Forget 48 hours not even after 48 days they did not respond to me. I think it is fair to have some kind of claim amount from the maxbupa especially for whom they buy insurance from their own money not provided by any company. I request you to help me in this regard.                         I Rajnish Tanwar policy holder of max bupa health insurance vide policy no. [protected]. First time face very poor service experience for insurance co. Too much waiting for clear the final bill payment. Lots of problem face patient this time period to discharge hospital.
                        I have postponed my urgent meeting then I have loss 2.5 lakh .
                        I have talk more then three time to customer care first time he talk company policy rules are claim note pass 4 hrs to submit the documents through hospital I have accept policy rule but after 4 hrs no response received then I have again call after 30. Mins. But he told me sorry for inconvenience and again to waiting 1 and half hours for clear all issues but no response after 1:30 hrs then I have again call but no response .
                        Know I am asking if I pay bill cash can be re imburse my amount she asking no.

                          I just found out in my policy copy that my original Health Insurance form which i have filled is suspiciously replaced by another form which neither i have filled nor i have signed.

                          I have already declared My Parents Pre Existing Diseases, Provided all Medical Certificate even I have mentioned the same on the Health Insurance form but My original form is replaced & the handwriting/Signature on the form is totally different.

                          Request you to please do proper investigation for this matter.

                          Mr.Adithyajaiswal, You may verify copy of proposal form provided with policy document if it is found to be fake, pl inform insurer & also check policy document for details. If the details as per policy document is correct to your satisfaction, then there is no worry & insurers are responsible if once policy is issued. Pl preserve copy of letter addressed or email regarding fake proposal form so as to question the insurer when disputes arises on basis of fake one or else cancel the policy within free look period to issue new policy or get back refund of premium.

                            Hi Max Bupa Team,

                            This is with reference to the Claim denial and cancellation of my policy from Max Bupa. Firstly, please return all my original medical documents exactly the way I sent your MaxBupa Delhi Head office address without any writings or stamping on them to my mailing address at the earliest.

                            Secondly, I do not want any claim from you. I just want the right justice of YOUR SALES AGENT DISCREPANCY, FRAUD, LIE AND FILTH DISHONESTY and refund the premium I paid when purchased the policy. I have no problem you rejecting the claim and cancelling my policy. I just want the right justice as MAXBUPA TO BE BLAMED FOR THEIR SALES AGENT, MR. PANKAJ SINGH GOEL'S DISCREPANCY, FRAUD, MISLEADING INFORMATION GIVEN TO ME WITH LIE AND FILTH DISHONESTY ON 3RD AUGUST 2016.

                            Now you say Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel resigned from his job and there is no such call recording found on 3rd August 2016 when i had clearly spoke to Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel as I had already informed him about my brain tumour condition on 3rd August 2016. And, your Maxbupa Verification agent Mr. Abdullah (cell phone # [protected]) clearly told me that i had already informed about my brain tumour condition to MaxBupa Toll free Customer Care team on 3rd August 2016. How come he knew about this? Now you say there is no call recording of me conversing with Mr.Pankaj Singh Goel via Maxbupa Toll Free Customer care number!!! This is DISGUSTING!

                            I am extremely disappointed with Max Bupa giving me the wrong/misleading information with discrepancy after I had spoken to Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel from Customer Care team on 3rd August 2016.

                            I was told over the phone by Jasleen Kaur that there is no call recording found with Max Bupa Customer Care Sales agent Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel on 3rd or 4th of August 2016. But, (Maxbupa verification agent) Mr. Abdullah (cell phone # [protected]) visited my place and told me I had already informed about my brain tumour, seizures, emergency hospitalization on 3rd August 2016 and he told me they had tracked through my call recording. I already told Abdullah about the same that I had spoken to Max Bupa Customer Care Sales agent Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel on 3rd or 4th of August 2016 and told everything about my existing health condition on 3rd August 2016. Max Bupa is not accounting their blame at all but instead blame the insurer even though there is FAULT and misleading information from Max Bupa's end as well. Now Max Bupa says they have no call recording of Mr. Pakaj Singh Goel and putting entire blame on me.

                            1). I need the call recording be forwarded to me when i spoke to Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel from the Customer Care Sales Team by calling the Max Bupa Toll Free number in the first week of August 2016. He gave me the wrong information even though I had told him about my brain surgery under emergency hospitalization. He had told me any emergency, life-threatening or accident hospitalization will be covered from DAY ONE from the purchase of Max Bupa Heartbbeat Gold policy and had clearly told me if it is planned hospitalization, there is a 90 day waiting period. You can track the call recordings with me and Mr.Pankaj Singh Goel through mobile numbers [protected], ********, ******** (mentioned in email to maxbupa). If you cannot share that call recording, please provide a valid reason and proof as per IRDA.

                            You have replied " We would also like to inform you that we have got your claim request number – 215852 reviewed by our panel of doctors basis the details shared by you and it has been observed that the patient is known case of meningioma since 3rd August 2016 ".
                            I had already informed Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel about this on 3rd August 2016 and I was INSISTED to write my conversation with Mr. Pankaj Singh Goel on a plain white paper by your (Maxbupa verification agent) Mr. Abdullah (cell phone # [protected]) and he told me to sign and had taken my thumb impression.

                            2). Under Heartbeat Gold Policy, as per the policy document I received from Maxbupa, in Section 4(b), it states " 90 days for illnesses except any accident or emergencies.

                            You replied " Sir, we request you to kindly go through the emergency definition mentioned in the terms and conditions of the policy document which says “A severe Illness or injury which results in symptoms which occur suddenly and unexpectedly, and requires immediate care by a Medical Practitioner to prevent death or serious long term impairment of the Insured Person’s health”

                            Please provide a screenshot or proof about " EMERGENCY " definition under Max bupa Heartbeat Gold Policy. I had already mentioned the clauses and sections about " EMERGENCY " under Max bupa Heartbeat Gold Policy from my policy handbook that I had received. Mine was an emergency hospitalization under life-threatening situation on 20th August 2016 and my brother had already intimated to Maxbupa Toll Free Customer Care number on the same day. I already told your your (Maxbupa verification agent) Mr. Abdullah (cell phone # [protected]) it was an emergency hospitalization and told him to verify with the hospital management and my surgeon. Could you prove me as per the policy document that " EMERGENCY " under Section 4(b) will not be covered if it is associated with Section 4(a) under Pre-existing disease?


                            3). Does it mean, if the insured has pre-existing disease and i[censored]nder " EMERGENCY " been hospitalized within 90 days from the purchase of the Heartbest Gold policy, then insured claim will be denied considering it as Pre-existing disease even though it is an " EMERGENCY " hospitalization for the insured?

                            4). Your (Max bupa) verification agent Mr. Abdullah with cell phone number: [protected] had visited my place and told me that under Section 4(a) Emergency means ONLY CARDIAC related. Does he even know what does " EMERGENCY " means as per Maxbupa Heartbeat Gold Policy?

                            I request you to respond correctly as per my questionnaire in the same pattern and number series. If you are unable to reach my number [protected], please provide me with your number so that I call you back or email me.

                            You replied " we would like to inform you that we have done necessary verifications at our end and we have not observed any discrepancy in the sales process followed while sourcing and processing the said policy."

                            I need the above mentioned information at the earliest as I was given misleading and wrong information by Mr.Pankaj Singh Goel from your Customer care team toll free. There is a discrepancy, misleading information considering my conversation with Mr.Pankaj Singh Goel on 3rd August 2016.

                            Mr.Anonymous victim, Whether have you mentioned your pre existing condition at the time of proposal in aug 2016? & also have you verified proposal form at the time of premium payment regarding details furnished since oral confirmation about your health condition may not be valid if insurer says no to your confirmation. As per their terms & conditions emergency means accidental treatment or life threatening disease i.e heart attack or serious cardiac problem for first time. As far as pre existing concerned if there is no details about this in proposal form insurer will consider it as a non disclosure of infm & claim will be rejected besides cancellation of policy.Therefore proposal is an important document for claims arises after issue of policy.
                            Though you have been intimated about this over phone through your agent, the same might not have been recorded or your agent may evaded this by saying the same has been recorded in voice mail just to avoid sale of policy. This information is given as i am also policy holder of this company.

                              I have taken treatment in hemraj jain hospital which is located in delhi janakpuri and it is non network hospital in your list. So i have already given all the documents against my treatment for the claim amount.and why u have been denied my cliam request. I want my claim money back otherwise i will raise the comsumer complaint against ur company.their company has DECLINED the policy. I asked for the reason and they could not share the same with me and insisted that its company policy.Before conducting the medical tests, they have very clearly mentioned that medical tests will be conducted on the expense of Max Bupa and we did not have to pay anything.

                              ALL IN ALL ...A FRAUD COMPANY FULL OF LIES!!!

                              PLEASE BEWARE!!!

                                we had a claim when my father had to do angioplasty and they rejected the claim saying its a pre existing one were as it was not

                                they will promise anything and everything to get one policy enrolling done but when the claim comes they reject and not even bothered to respond !

                                really the worst service i ever seen in this line of industry.

                                  Had one question to you all - neither customer care nor the the hospital authority has the right answer to this question -----
                                  Is dengue a 5 MONTH diseases ? Can a person survive having dengue for 5 months ?My claim for cashless was rejected due to one wrong statement of hospital that the patient my sister Lauleen Chaliha was suffering with disease of fever since 5 months that was before i took the policy . I was clearly told upto 90 days no pre - existing disease will be covered but emergency . My sister was admitted in the hospital - we applied for cashless one small error from the hospital authorities and the claim was rejected after which the hospital authorities issues fresh statement clearing mentioning no pre - existing disease existed as becaiuse even if not in papers its a common sense Dengue is not a 5 months disease . My claim was still rejected & i was asked to apply to for re-reimbursement as physical verification would be done . I agreed, paid the bills and applied for re-reimbursement . I was told that a verification will be done by experts who will solve the issue . i waited patiently for a month- no response from Max Bupa. i called a customer care i got to know its rejected - reason was dengue fever .Really curious to know from the expert of Max bhupa team is dengue fever a 5 months disease ???? can a person survive with a 5 months disease . We have the statement from the hospital authority clearly saying no pre-existing disease occured still on what ground the claim got rejected is a question for me . An advice for Max Bupa - Today's world is a transperant and digitalized world - customers are not fool to accept whatever is wrong - I thought it was a brand and it will not create false promises - U dont want to pay me back, thats fine but dont give false promises - dont put blame on the patient giving wrong statements that it was a pre - exisiting disease. i dont want explanation but this is my question to Max Bupa and the common man is dengue a pre-existing disease ----- i will use the digital forum to take help as i am just receivinbg one line statement from you guys "the claim is rejected " . Would request every general public to ask this question lets see what everyone as to say. i have seen numerous cases online saying the same thing - so is this some kind of gimmick created by Max Bupa to state that the disease was a pre-existing disease .
                                  Tagging Shulka Jalodia who was throughout present with my sister in the hospital, witnessed all the harassment by the max bhupa team . these 2 little girls made all attempt to explain the scene tried their best to convince or seek advice from the max bhupa team but not even one help was offered . Also attached are the statements from Hospital authority which clearly states the situation versus the statement of Max bhupa showing one liner -"its rejected ". My fight is for the right to bring out the real picture the capture of whatever happened . Also I would like to bring out reference of Vijay Dubey employee id p103402 - max bhupa sales executive who himself admitted that i was transparent in all the things right from the beginning, to help me he connected me to some team who did not give any answer but one - once rejected cannot be claimed for cashless and the decesion is final "

                                    After payment waited for 2 days and rather getting a call i called medical team then they scheduled an appointment today at 10 am. But still i am waiting for them to reach me neither they came nor they replied.
                                    After paying still my health insurance awaited.
                                    I strictly refuse to accept this no care attitude.
                                    They should compensate.

                                        I had a policy with max bupa of 8000 premium. i had admitted in hospital and by mistake rmo had written it that i had epilepsy. Max had declined the claim .I had also submitted the letter pad in which the hospital admitted of their mistake but they had not giving claim even after verification with the hospital
                                        Max bupa is a den of thieves do not buy its policy
