I have a claim 18699620 registered with mediassist.
My original documents reached them on 2nd jan.
They havent updated the status yet in the portal.

They confirm the receipt of the documents in every call i have with the customer care people every week and they tell me that they will escalate it but i dont see any progress on the same.

I explain the issue every time and they just give me the same response with no progress whatsoever.

The worst service i have ever received is from infosys mediassist team.

    Dear sir,

    On 24th of dec'18 they have received my claim, but still they have not settled my amount. Got tired sending mail to them but hey do not bother at all.

    My claim no. Is 18595044 for rs.4240 towards pre-hospitalisation.

    Many times, called their customer care but no positive response. Please be noted this is medical settlement, mediassist should reimburse the amount immediately as per eligibility.

    Dear All,

    Still I have not received any reply from MediAssist... They are just sleeping.. Govt. Should take very strong action against these type of companies, where they take the money from Insurance holder, however while reimbursing, they take their own time and they do not bother to even reply to the mail, I would have sent approximately 25 mail to them.. So request you, please take a very strong action against Mediassist...

      I have been waiting for my claim to be received from last 2 years. As per their records the claim is approved. Whenever i call them they say it will take another 10 working days to process. I have called them aleast 100 times and have also written about 50 emails where i get the same response.

      If this complain dosent get responded by medi assist i will take the legal way.

            I am an employee of bank of india and has updated my beneficiaries details in hrms on 16 jan, 2019. The beneficiaries are still not added on my e card. How long will it
            Take to get them updated on my e card? I have raised a number of complaints on the medibuddy app but they never respond to it. The status of the complaint tickets raised shows to be open for 24 hrs bt after that the status shows closed without any reply. Please let me know about the status of my complaint.

              claim amount processed is less than total amount claimed

              I recently raised a claim with medi assist for my hospitalization undergone for my maternity delivery for emergency lscs. The total amount claimed was for 92000 which was paid to hospital and planned for a re-imbursement claim later.

              Here i first got my claim settled with paramount tpa via my husband side for 60000 which is the higher cap limit for maternity c-section. Remaining amount of 32000 plus medicine bills during hospitalization...

                I have already shared query related original document as mention in trial mail then why same query is raised.

                Shared predated checkup detail but i don't have bill and i am also not claiming that amount.
                In last query you have mentioned original discharge summary with gpal status and i have send you the same then why query is raised again.
                Shared bill there is no drip charges they are medicine and vaccination and i have already shared medicine and vaccination detail.

                  Sub: - complaint regarding denial of claim no 17850073 policy no 124500/48/2018/3711_p (Medi assist tpa pvt. Ltd.)
                  Dear sir/mam,
                  My name is ankit garg. I have a group medi claim policy from the oriental insurance co. Ltd tpa by medi assist insurance tpa private limited through axis bank employee no. 29428 policy no. 124500/48/2018/3711_p medi assist id [protected] policy period was from 01/10/2017 to 30/09/2018.
                  The dependent in this policy was my wife who’s insurance was free and my parents who’s premium was born by me as per company policy.
                  My mother smt neeru garg medi assist id [protected] insured in the same policy was admitted in hospital rameshwar dass memorial hospital jagadhri doctor parveen garg on 15 august 2018 which was not on panel of medi assist. She was suffering with pneumonitis right side. As per the medi assist policy for the claim i have intimated to them regarding her admission on the same day under intimation no. 10655216. My mother was diagnose by the doctor for 10 days and was discharged from hospital on 24 august 2018. At the time of discharge we have taken all the necessary documents regarding her admission, diagnoses, reports, bills, case summary, discharge sheet, payment receipts etc to submit to medi assist. All the required original documents with x - ray reports was dispatched to medi assist and received by them on 15th september 2018 as per one-month policy after discharge tracking ref no was mum00318498. The same duly acknowledged. The claim status was showing as in progress. Although in one shot we have completed all the documents. Even then medi assist demand an addition requirement from hospital on 18th september 2018 against which we have taken the same from doctor and courier them on 20th sep 2018 which was received by them on 22 september 2018 under pod no. 79949782 skyline courier. After receipt of the letter the claim status was showing as in progress till 09 january 2019.in this period i have contacted to them several times through toll free no., e-mails, and was tracking on medi app and on link provided by them. I was given the information that your claim was under investigation in the month of october, november.in december i come to know that the positive investigation report is submitted by the investigator as he visit in the hospital and cross check all the bills, reports, discharge summery, diagnose, id proofs of my mother etc and found ok. Again i started tracking my claim. Many - many times it happens that the call centre people make my call on hold for a very long time and then disconnected without giving any status. I have send many trail mails on [protected]@mediassistindia.com but except two three times i did not get any response. Now on 28th december 2018 they again request a letter from the hospital stating the recommendation of 10 days hospitalisation from the doctor which we have send to them on 31/12/2018 under pod no. 83786448 received to them on 03/01/2019.
                  Now on 11th january i come to know that my claim is being denied by medi assist due to the clause 5.5 claim documents not submitted within three months and on maximum 3 reminders.
                  I just want to know my fault where i am lacking. Every time when they demanded a document from us, i provided the same within 10 days. Investigation process takes approx. 2 months then where is my fault that i have not completed all documents within 3 months. Even when they demanded letter from hospital on 28th december 2018 (Which was not required) and if required why not asked earlier in last three months, i have provided them within 10 days.
                  Again i called them up to recheck the same on 11th jan 2019 and register a complaint on their toll free number against complaint no. 5966013. On which they ask me to wait for 3 working days and the claim will get approved. Still the same is showing as denied.
                  Now whenever i am trying to contact them on their toll free number they are just putting my call on hold. On mail no response is given. Even medi assist customer care escalations is not picking my phone. Is this the way to treat a customer query? I did not create a forged admission of my mother. You can check it at any time. Then why my claim is denied.
                  My claim is denied intentionally by medi assist and just to pass three months to apply clause no 5.5 they took 2 months of investigation. And still demanding more documents.
                  My request to all of you to please look into the matter and resolve as soon as earliest possible to avoid any legal escalations in consumer court.

                    Dear Sir,

                    My Claim #97103676 for my policy no #[protected] was generated for Rs. 5 lakhs on 06 Nov 2018. Out of which Rs. 4 lakhs has been initially approved but this was never utilized by patient nor hospital. Instead a new Claim #97157615 was generated and settled by Mediclaim. So, ideally there were 2 Claims generated out of which Claim #97103676 is completely unutilized.

                    I have requested Mediassist to cancel this claim but from last 2 months they are playing games and cancelling this claim.

                    Due to this, my other 2 reimbursement claims (#97264429 and #9739603) are kept on hold by Mediassist stating that the main claim #97103676 in not settled yet.

                    I have called customer care multiple times but seems no one cares about their customers. Very bad service by Mediassist.

                    Request your intervention for solving this issue.

                      Claimed amounts 25086 reimbursement earlier. I got only approval for 8000/- even after submitting all necessary document including my swinping bill of credit card in hospital.                           Its about mediassist. Its located in ibc knowledge park, tower d, 4th floor, bannerghatta main rd, 4/1, bengaluru, karnataka 560029

                          I am not getting any financial help or medical reimbursements from this company. I was being treated for meningitis on dec 2 2017. I was in icu for a month and still am undergoing medications. Even after sending mails with receipts they are showing me policies and terms and conditions. Please let me know if human life is more important or these cheap terms and conditions.

                            I have submitted a medical claim with medi assist on[protected] at 11:59 and then sent my documents through the courier company on the same day.

                            The documents were received on[protected] at 17:26 (As updated in the system.)

                            On[protected] at 15:38 the status is claim in progress.
                            On[protected] at 13:11 status changed to claim processed.

                            On wed 19-dec-18 at 12:01 pm, i received an e-mail from the provider

                            Your claim has been received by us and we have gone through the claim and have moved them to approved status. The claims would now need to be uploaded into the insurer’s portal against your name only after which the insurer will review the claim and settle the amount to your bank account

                            You should be getting your claim credited into your bank before 13th jan 2019.

                            Since then i received only one e-mail on sunday, january 6, 2019 06:14 am
                            With a statement

                            You will receive the payment advice once the claim is settled by the united india insurance co. Ltd.

                            Today is 15th january 2019 and there is no update about the amount that was supposed to be credited to my account.

                            Whenever i write an e-mail to them asking for an update all they respond is with a statement

                            "please do accept our apologies on the delay in settlement of your claim. The delay is on account of certain changes in the payment process and rest assured, we are working with the insurance company to resolve it at the earliest. We will keep you posted on the updates."

                            Now, this delay has costed me emi bounce on home loan. There is late payment charges and emi bounce charges that have incurred due to this delay. Who will bear the cost.

                            This is very irresponsible from either united india insurance co. Ltd. Or medi assist india.

                            I don't know who can chip in or whether, i can do anything except just waiting...

                            Just sharing my experience about the medical insurance claims... Before going with any of these two think... Or my story may help them decide about medical insurance policies...

                              Dhs claim no 18553608 query (Provide breakup detail amount 11938) supporting doc attached

                              Issue :- i was hospitalises in shree narayana hospital raipur dt 26 nov to 28 nov 2018.in this duration 1st day amount & other lab bill was paid in claim no 18387485 against. Next 1.5 day bill amount (11938) pay on my pocket.
                              Now i am reimburment for this amount with medicines bill (Claim no[protected].in this claim against one query raise submitted supporting document of amount 11938. That document hospital already submitted claim no 18387485 against.

                              Request to you please support me for this issue

                                I work @ harman connected services.
                                I’ve submitted my claim on 14-nov 2018.
                                Submitted all the documents by 27th nov.
                                Till now I’ve haven’t got a single update about the claim progress.
                                Whenever I check the portal, it says “In Progress”.

                                    I had raised the above health insurance claim in the month of june. As of now, there is no update on the claim status. Whenever i call the helpdesk team, all they say is this has been already escalated and in 10 days they would be processing the amount and they have been kept repeating the same to me for past 2 months. Its been 8 months so far and i don't understand how much more time it is going to take to process as all the documents are also submitted 7 months back.
                                    I kindly request the team to kindly look into this issue on high importance and do let me know the status.
