Sir/Madam,
I'm Rekha Jain from Noida. I had purchased Micromax mobile handset model No: A63 (black, dual sim, IMEI No 1: [protected] and IMEI No 2: [protected]) in Nov 2013. Since then it was causing issues which could be deferred to the later stage.
On 12th Nov 2014, we had submitted our handset to Micromax service centre (M/S Satguru Communication, Shop No-1, GF, Dharampali Palace, Near Vinayak Hospital, Sector-27, Noida, UP-201301). They informed us that since our handset cannot be repaired at their place they are sending it to the Micromax company for repair and will be delivered to us in next 20 days. ie. by 2nd Dec 2014. The job sheet No. for the same is: N[protected] dated 12th Nov 2014. We again went to Noida Service Center on 2nd Dec to get our handset. But to our surprise the status provided to us that it is still 'under process' and will be delivered to us the ext week. We got the same status On 12th Dec and an worthless advice to contact the Micromax Customer Care directly.
On calling the Micomax centre and explaining the situation to the customer executive at Micromax we got a complaint no as:[protected].Since it had been more than 1 month I had submitted my phone for repair, I called the customer care to check the status of my phone on 19th Dec 2014. Again as expected, the response was that the repairing is 'under process'. We were again given another date as 2nd Jan 2015. Again on following
up same status has been provided with another date of 12th Jan 2015.
On 13th Jan 2015, when I again called up the customer care centre to enquire about my phone, they say that the complaint no has been changed to [protected] and the status is same as 'Under process' and again a new date has been provided.
We have sent various mailers but no response is available on the availability date of our handset. Also, customer care executive says to raise a complaint in consumer forum. Nutshell is that they are not concerned about the customer problem and they never gave the right status.
I requested them to return my handset without repairing but they refused saying that company policy is to repair only.
Its been 2 months running pillar to post to get my handset back, and whenever I call the Micromax service centre they just give new date with the status as 'under process' and an excuse that the complaint has been forwarded on priority basis and it will take few more days. Not sure what the word 'priority' means to this organisation. It was a blunder buying the Micromax mobile as it has the worst after sale service. We would never suggest anyone to purchase Micromax as this company is a black spot on the mobile handset selling companies.
My question is why such companies promoted and given license to give tensions and waste the money of the customers.
I want my money to be refunded along with the compensation of Rs 10000/- for the time I spent of all this correspondence, writing complaints and the mental agony.
