A month back I purchased a Murphy Richards Juice Extractor Max and today when I was extracting carrot juice the juicer exploded with a huge noise and the fibre glass shattered all over the house and also ended up injuring my forehead, luckily my eyes got saved. When I approached their service head Mer Abhishek Kapoor, He dint even had a courtesy to apologise/ regret for this damn incident. His response was as quoted, " We will send a technician to verify your claim and will inform you how it exploded ". Hi was ruthless , unprofessional and was senseless not to hear the consumers agony. Request the public not to buy their sub standard products and not be safe.

I have purchased morphy juicer on[protected] , with in a month it stops working (around[protected].
While purchasing the product i was told for home service .
Now when i am calling service center they registered my complain on[protected], and after that i am getting same response that it will be repaired by today evening .
Your service Engineer had repaired the juicer . But your service head MR Abhishek Kapoor enlightens me with the fact that the mistake was mine and If the filter is not fitted properly it will happen again. What kind of product is this???? If you cant make a safe product why are selling and putting 1000`s of life at stake?? Where is the mechanical & applied safety in this juicer? Your user manual doesnt have any mention of the risk involved in operating your machine???. I have been hurt in my fore head and in my hand and what if it had hurt my eyes??? Should a consumer go blind for using your sub standard product. How can your top assembly shatter in to pieces if the filter comes out??? What kind of cheap plastic have you used in this?? Your service head MR Abhishek Kapoor is more interested in blaming the consumer rather than explaining this un answered questions. I dont want your sub standard un safe product at my home.If the machine is not replaced with a good quality product and if my queries are not replied I will take you to public media and to the consumer court for this atrocity.

    I am extremely disappointed to write to you about our bitter experience with Morphy Richards Toaster that was purchased from one of your dealers in Kolkata, India.

    The toaster has been giving problem ever since we bought it. Recently (15.01.13) we lodged a complaint with Morphy Richards India regarding the MR toaster. Docket Number being 2105616. I have been following up with them regularly only to receive empty assurances. My toaster continues to stay non-functional despite several follow ups with the company.

    I have been given several mobile numbers of senior managers but the numbers stay switched off. Honestly, I feel cheated with this purchase. I hope you take this up seriously with your partner in India if you want to maintain your reputation as a retailer.

      Purchased Morphy Richards Oil filled radiator OFR/1100 from Croma Sector-22 Chandigarh on[protected]. Performance of the heater is very poor & hardly any heat is genearted. A complaint number 2093197 is lodged & after 15 days a technician visited but he hardly had any knowledge & went away saying that he will come back next day. But he never turned up.
      I again informed Caroma & Bajaj office but hardly anr response. Now I am left with no option but to approach Consumer Court.

      Mr. Jatinder Kohli, Sr. Mgr. - Customer Care visited on 29th & did some modifications with the result performance has improved. But restart time of the coil is too long. Mr. Kohli assured that this problem also be will sorted out within next 7-8 days.
      I have bought morphy richards oil filled radiator 900 today itself. Even after spending so much money I thought it will be very effective. Its been 4 hours i am sitting just 2inches away from it but absolutely no heating and the room is still very cold. Cheap blowers and heaters are more effective than this bigger and huge looking instrument. I have always been loyal to morphy richards but this is the worst equipment I have ever come across.

        I purchased an induction cooker from Morphy Richards I have placed a complaint with the area manager, who is as good-for-nothing as the rest of the team. My complaint has still not been sorted out 20 days down the line. The company officials give flimsy excuses and delay the repairs.

        I think it is better to avoid buying this brand in India at least!!!

          Dear Sir,

          I bought Morphy Richards Cutie Mixer Grinder dated 11-11-12 from E-Zone Phoenix Market city.
          Within one month of its purchase the product is not working and their is a problem with motor.
          I have the Guarantee card and purchase was made through credit card.
          I misplaced my purchase bill and I went to E-zone Phoenix Market City for duplicate bill.
          But the customer help desk is not ready to give the bill,as he was saying its confidential.
          We bought so many products from E-zone,thinking that its a good store and if any problem they will help out.
          Instead they were saying its not there problem.Even I showed him my credi card statement,but he is not ready to provide the duplicate bill.
          I have a doubt on the store that they have given us a defective piece.

            Dear Sir,

            I purchased one mixture-grinder of morphy richards brand from Capital Electronics VIP, P-161, VIP Road, PIN 700054. I used the mixture once and after using I packed it up and kept in a safe place. On the very next day I found that holder of the mixture went totally broken and unusable. This product have 2 years of guarantee and currently with in the guarantee limit. When I approached to Capital Electronics with such kind of complaint they did not accept complaint and they did not considered this is the faulty of the product. They are arguing this is broken due to misuse and harassed me with their employee. Strictly speaking I used the product very safely and after using kept it in a safety place.

            So I am urgently seeking your help in this regard to get the proper value of the product which has the guarantee and limit till Apr'13.

                Hi,

                My name Ameet and I stay in Tyagrajnagar, Bangalore. I had purchased an electric cooker of Morphy Richards Company from Big Bazaar, Malleswaram branch, Bangalore. It had a guarantee (not warranty) of 2 years, means, in case it happens that the cooker is functionally not working, then the product will be replaced with a new one. Also the biz bazaar representative presented with a same explanation. However, after geting the product, for the 1st time I started using it did not work apparently not functioning as expected. Immediately, I took it back to Biz Bazaar expecting a replacement and they rejected to replace telling that they cannot replace it rather they will get it rapaired. There was a long conversation between us on the issue, and in the midst of the conversation there happen to interfere a supervisor by name Subramanya and was able to temporarly convince us to try and get the issue temporarly be on hold. We left the cooker there on the words of Mr. Subramanya. And now its being alomst one month i havnt got my cooker back raplaced and they still say that it cannot be raplaced. I receive an update every time that it shall be done by tomorrow but that " TOMORROW " has not come in 15 days.                         I Have purchased Morphy Richards Mixer cum Juicer Cum Grinder on 13.04.2011 from Star CJ Alive. As per Guarantee Card I have Guarantee for 05 Years of Motor & 02 Years Mixture. But now my mixture is not working properly & I have contacted to Star CJ for many a time but they are not giving proper services. As per them they are not bound to giving such type of services.

                        Kindly do the needful urgently.
                        I Agree with above cited complaints. They are not even a worried of this complains.

                              inspite of repeated complains to mumbai cc, ghaziabad cc,mr vikas([protected]), mr swetang([protected]), since 6th feb 2012 till today 16th feb my processor is out of service till date, and it is kept opened as mr sonu who came on 14th feb, opened the processor and told me that he will come tomoro and change the part.Too poor too bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                i have purchased a morphy richards juicer model "Max". but it was not working properly then a complaint was lodged in their customer care department. after lodging the complaint their representative from Pant sales & services located in jawalaheri market came and collected the juicer.

                                they have collected the juicer in the month of october 2010 and they confirmed that they have to replace it as it is faulty. but "Pant sales and services" told that this model is currently not available so you have to wait for some time and after that i have made hundereds of call to their customer care, spoken to branch heads, even spoken to pant sales and services head but still i have not received my replaced juicer.

                                i am tired of calling these people and i think a strict action is to be taken now its almost an year since they have collected my juicer from my home.

                                  I booked a Kerala Holiday Package for self & wife (we are a senior citizen retired couple) which reportedly was termed "Customized Package" by the concerned executive, though exactly the same package was available on the Yatra.Com Web Site. Anyway I was asked to pay Rs.30, 000/- as advance by Internet which I did on 11.10.12. The package tour was supposed to start on 26.10.12 by air from Mumbai to Cochin. After paying, when I called their office at Gurgaon on 16.10.12, the executive handling my tour informed that he will put all details re the tour including all contact numbers, names of hotels etc.etc. on the e-mail by the next day. No messages giving above details were received in the next few days.

                                  No messages were received in the above regard. I kept on sending e-mails to Yatra.Com executives, team leaders/supervisors but no response came from any of them them. On 20.10.12, I visited Yatra.Com Office at Mumbai, but they regretted any assistance stating that they handle only International Tours & cannot help me for domestic tours. I spoke to a certain Mr.Kapil Bishnoi (supposedly head of the domestic section) & he verbally on phone stated from Gurgaon, that I will receive all details on mail by 22.10.12(Monday). But no msgs came from Yara.com; except one msg from one Mr. Jay Gurnani, who stated that he will revert with detail the next day. But no messages came from anybody of Yata.Com. I kept on sending e-mails everyday reminding them, that since the tour departure was 26th October'12 early morning, time was running out as we had to tie up a lot of loose ends in our home before leaving for 8 days to Kerala. But there was total silence & no e-mails whatsoever from Yatra.Com regarding the above matter. On 25th October at around 10 am(when there was less than 22 hours left prior departure), I was left with no other option but to inform Yatra.com that it was not possible to make the trip & same is required to be cancelled. I did not even get an acknowledgement till now regarding this last message to Yatra.Com. The onus of cancellation rests on Yatra.Com as they failed to send any intimation regarding the details/hotels of the tour.

                                  It may be noted that I had not given my "OK" to the tour as a lot of my queries/doubts were not answered by the executive who was handling my case. He kept on insisting that I should give "OK" and I had to remind him that as soon as he clarifies my doubts to my satisfaction, I will give him my OK.

                                  Is this a ploy of Yatra.Com to collect advance money (Rs.30, 000/- in my case which is a very substantial sum for retired person like me) and then maintain total silence till the tour date is over. Kindly arrange to refund me the above amount of Rs.30, 000/- as I could not proceed on the Kerala tour due to no intimation of tour details by you and not due to any fault of my own. This is a strange and lackadaisical attitude of the Yatra.Com, which has caused me much physical & mental trauma, besides substantial monetary loss.

                                  Anxiously awaiting complaints to my above complaint at the earliest.

                                  Morphy Richards - Coffee Maker not working properly dated 07.07.2015


                                  Bought a Morphy Richards Coffee Maker from GIRIAS INVESTMENT PVT LTD., F-39, 2nd Avenue Near Chinthamani Signal, Anna Nagar East, Chennai-600 102 during April 2014 still under guarantee, is not at all working. It was working well for two months. The coffee maker was given to A.M.Electricals in Purasawalkam, Chennai-600 084 (Phone No2643 0684 and[protected] for nearly 6 times. I feel they are not able to repair it properly. Please do the needful.

                                    I bought a Morphy Richards Juicer From Big Bazar ,Noida. First day i started using it, it was not working, it was faulty ,i took it back to the Big bazar but they refused to take back the product.They said they will repair it. They repair it and gave me back the product in seven days. it was working. Now after 2 months the same problem has occured again. The motor not running ,they have cheated us with a faulty product , i want company like morphy richrds brand name should care for it. and it is a shame for them to cheat the customer like this.

                                      I bought Morphy Richards 'Coffee Maker" from the Rohini outlet of Croma in 2009.Last year it, when it was not working properly, I lodged a complaint with the company. To my horror it took almost 5 month to repair it, that too after the intervention of Croma. Their customer care executives are rotten to say the least. They speak to you as if they are doing some favor. Their service center concessionaires are even worse. Rarely pick up telephone.

                                      Therefore, buy Morphy Richards products with clear understanding that you are not going to get customer service worth a name.

                                      I have almost a similar experience. I bought a Morphy richards Kitchen machine mixer grinder on 02 Jul 2011 and on the same day it went faulty as the material used in the assy was substandard. I informed the matter to the customer care and a rep of it came to my house and said he didn't possess adqt parts. So he went back and did not turn up. After a week's time I started lodging the complaint almost for 15 times in a span of 45 days. The mixer grinder still lies in a corner and now i am compelled to go for legal help. One of the worst service i ever faced.

                                      I've got a morphy richards kettle has been leaking water all over my kitchen top leaving me wondering when I'm going to be electrocuted.
                                      We've been following up with Avon Electricals for 2 weeks now and can't get anyone to repair this kettle.
                                      Morphy Richards India seems to be partnered with Bajaj Electricals who have outsourced to Avon and little wonder that there's there's a game of passing the parcel when it comes to our complaint .

                                      I purchased OTG28RSS from Big Bazaar Patna to-day 10.01.2012.The accessories listed below are missing. on query from Big Bazaar they said that what ever accessories supplied by C&F were provided to you rest accessories will have to be purchase. The item missing are:-

                                      Lousy after sales service

                                      I puchased OTG28RSS in March 2012. Everything was working fine till the day the oven refused to work any longer. I lodged a complain on 28th Feb 2013 and till date I have been reaching out to the Customer Service toll free number and a manager named Ishtiyak Janvekar. I have never seen such a lousy manager ever! No control over the dealer??? Everyday I have been giving him a piece of mind but he has been taking it all shamelessly.

                                      If Morphy Richards can't offer good service in India they should back off and continue to sell in UK only!

                                      Geyser is not heating water to a desired level.

                                      The morphy rechard geyser, model Salvo 10 ltr, S.No. of the product[protected] was purchased in October 2014. It is not heating water to a desired level.
