I booked a Kerala Holiday Package for self & wife (we are a senior citizen retired couple) which reportedly was termed "Customized Package" by the concerned executive, though exactly the same package was available on the Yatra.Com Web Site. Anyway I was asked to pay Rs.30, 000/- as advance by Internet which I did on 11.10.12. The package tour was supposed to start on 26.10.12 by air from Mumbai to Cochin. After paying, when I called their office at Gurgaon on 16.10.12, the executive handling my tour informed that he will put all details re the tour including all contact numbers, names of hotels etc.etc. on the e-mail by the next day. No messages giving above details were received in the next few days.

No messages were received in the above regard. I kept on sending e-mails to Yatra.Com executives, team leaders/supervisors but no response came from any of them them. On 20.10.12, I visited Yatra.Com Office at Mumbai, but they regretted any assistance stating that they handle only International Tours & cannot help me for domestic tours. I spoke to a certain Mr.Kapil Bishnoi (supposedly head of the domestic section) & he verbally on phone stated from Gurgaon, that I will receive all details on mail by 22.10.12(Monday). But no msgs came from Yara.com; except one msg from one Mr. Jay Gurnani, who stated that he will revert with detail the next day. But no messages came from anybody of Yata.Com. I kept on sending e-mails everyday reminding them, that since the tour departure was 26th October'12 early morning, time was running out as we had to tie up a lot of loose ends in our home before leaving for 8 days to Kerala. But there was total silence & no e-mails whatsoever from Yatra.Com regarding the above matter. On 25th October at around 10 am(when there was less than 22 hours left prior departure), I was left with no other option but to inform Yatra.com that it was not possible to make the trip & same is required to be cancelled. I did not even get an acknowledgement till now regarding this last message to Yatra.Com. The onus of cancellation rests on Yatra.Com as they failed to send any intimation regarding the details/hotels of the tour.

It may be noted that I had not given my "OK" to the tour as a lot of my queries/doubts were not answered by the executive who was handling my case. He kept on insisting that I should give "OK" and I had to remind him that as soon as he clarifies my doubts to my satisfaction, I will give him my OK.

Is this a ploy of Yatra.Com to collect advance money (Rs.30, 000/- in my case which is a very substantial sum for retired person like me) and then maintain total silence till the tour date is over. Kindly arrange to refund me the above amount of Rs.30, 000/- as I could not proceed on the Kerala tour due to no intimation of tour details by you and not due to any fault of my own. This is a strange and lackadaisical attitude of the Yatra.Com, which has caused me much physical & mental trauma, besides substantial monetary loss.

Anxiously awaiting complaints to my above complaint at the earliest.

Morphy Richards - Coffee Maker not working properly dated 07.07.2015


Bought a Morphy Richards Coffee Maker from GIRIAS INVESTMENT PVT LTD., F-39, 2nd Avenue Near Chinthamani Signal, Anna Nagar East, Chennai-600 102 during April 2014 still under guarantee, is not at all working. It was working well for two months. The coffee maker was given to A.M.Electricals in Purasawalkam, Chennai-600 084 (Phone No2643 0684 and[protected] for nearly 6 times. I feel they are not able to repair it properly. Please do the needful.

A feed back is very much appreciated in a week's time.

    I bought a Morphy Richards Juicer From Big Bazar ,Noida. First day i started using it, it was not working, it was faulty ,i took it back to the Big bazar but they refused to take back the product.They said they will repair it. They repair it and gave me back the product in seven days. it was working. Now after 2 months the same problem has occured again. The motor not running ,they have cheated us with a faulty product , i want company like morphy richrds brand name should care for it. and it is a shame for them to cheat the customer like this.

      I bought Morphy Richards 'Coffee Maker" from the Rohini outlet of Croma in 2009.Last year it, when it was not working properly, I lodged a complaint with the company. To my horror it took almost 5 month to repair it, that too after the intervention of Croma. Their customer care executives are rotten to say the least. They speak to you as if they are doing some favor. Their service center concessionaires are even worse. Rarely pick up telephone.

      Therefore, buy Morphy Richards products with clear understanding that you are not going to get customer service worth a name.

      I have almost a similar experience. I bought a Morphy richards Kitchen machine mixer grinder on 02 Jul 2011 and on the same day it went faulty as the material used in the assy was substandard. I informed the matter to the customer care and a rep of it came to my house and said he didn't possess adqt parts. So he went back and did not turn up. After a week's time I started lodging the complaint almost for 15 times in a span of 45 days. The mixer grinder still lies in a corner and now i am compelled to go for legal help. One of the worst service i ever faced.

      I've got a morphy richards kettle has been leaking water all over my kitchen top leaving me wondering when I'm going to be electrocuted.
      We've been following up with Avon Electricals for 2 weeks now and can't get anyone to repair this kettle.
      Morphy Richards India seems to be partnered with Bajaj Electricals who have outsourced to Avon and little wonder that there's there's a game of passing the parcel when it comes to our complaint .

      Lousy after sales service

      I puchased OTG28RSS in March 2012. Everything was working fine till the day the oven refused to work any longer. I lodged a complain on 28th Feb 2013 and till date I have been reaching out to the Customer Service toll free number and a manager named Ishtiyak Janvekar. I have never seen such a lousy manager ever! No control over the dealer??? Everyday I have been giving him a piece of mind but he has been taking it all shamelessly.

      If Morphy Richards can't offer good service in India they should back off and continue to sell in UK only!

        I had bought the mini chopper about 3 months back and about a month back the motor has got burnt.

        I took the chopper to the authorised service centre ( which happens to be no more than a junk shop) in Gananagar and I gave the same for repair on Jan 20, 2011.

        Until now, the person has not repaired the same and keeps giving an excuse daily. My efforts to reach the toll free number on website went bust as the number does not exist.

        Kindly stop entertaining bogus service centres as it gives a bad image to you itself. Also pls ensure the same is repaired at the earliest.

        i would like to share my one of the worst moment with you all. Morphy richards is a well known brand for kitchen accessories and Indian people always used to purchase a product who belongs to a good company. But the service of this company is such bad as like our India manufacturer.

        I had purchased a Electric Kettle from M/s Khanna Industries, Dwarka on 15.11.2010 he had given me this kettle where it is having two years home service warranty. I had previous purchased two bread toaster of same Morphy Ricards now it was two years ago but there is no problem till yet.

        First i called to store person he had given me a no. [protected]
        I tried so much time but the number never connected and i shouted harshly on the store person than he give me a new no which was[protected].
        second i called here in this no.[protected] from here i get another no.
        Third i called[protected] this is morphy ricards mumbai office no. from here i received no response.

        Now, u see what i m facing from this big company. This company are smart dithers.

        Never purchase Morphy Items.
        Bad Service - bad quality products - two products purchased two became faulty - not attending the complaints promptly - require to develop skills like other good companies - may loose business
        Please look into the matter - first time purchased your product - Cheff 500 Induction & Mixer Grinder - With in 2 months time it is out of order four times (induction) custome service is very poor - stationed at Bhubaneswar - Odisha - Mixure - Blade button broken - with in two months - Previously used Sumit & Philips for 20 years and 10 years the same product your product started giving trouble from 2 months on wards. I hope you will respond the same immediately and rectify the same or direct your people at Bhubaneswar - I have fed up.

          Greetings for the day,

          I am writing to you with respect to challenge faced by my good self with Morphy Richards for Repairing and replacement of their Product Sandwich Toaster.

          Have made several attempts to reach them and every time alloted with a new complaint registration number.
          Also their dealer Jay Ambe electronics is a pathertic after sales service centre wherein the numbers are not reachable and calling their staff on their numbers they switch off the cell phones with no response.

          I was given the details of Person named Mr. Naral No:[protected] is never answered must have made approx 100 calls him but all went unanswered.

          The product i Bought in the month of of October but used it for the first time in December, there were problem observed immediately after the first use, the product malfunctioned.

          Once the service centre repaired but still the problem remained unsolved.

          I asked for replacement and since then i am trying to reach them but unfortunately their people are so unresponsive that they take the call, listen to the issue and then switch off their numbers.

          I request a firm action to be taken against this international brand for cheating the Indian Customers and being non responsive to their complaints.

          These are the International MNC's entering the Indian Market with Assured promises of quality product and after sales.

          Unfortunately its all fake........

          I seek consumer forums support for strict action against such brand which are into false promises and no proper customer support.

          Look forward for your support at the earliest convenience.

            I have purchased a hand grinder 4 months back. After 2 months of working the unit failed . I have contacted the sales dealer M/S KBM Electronics , Lakshmi nagar who inturn tried to connect to the service dealer of Morphy Richards. After 2 weeks of registering the complaint,the engineer visited my home.
            He refused to share his contact details and inturn assured that the unit will be replaced and will be deilvered in a weeks time.
            Now no one is responding and the effective days of warranty is passing by. I would request you to please take necessary action regarding the resolution of the product.

            I have purchased a food processor and that is not working from past one month . I called 100 times to the service center but they are not bother One person cam to our house and he told me that one part need to replace he took off that part and after that he never came back to us as he promised that it will be repaired with in 7 days . Now when ever i use to call the service center they have only one answer that the part is not available . If the parts are not available them why the hell they are selling their product in India. I recommended all the reader not to buy a single product of Morphy Richards if you ant to live peacefully .
            If any one have the company's mail id than please let me know . i will write a mail to the higher authorities .

              I purchased morphy richards microwave oven product code is cg25 rs 8000/- from kings electonic nerul, they have not given grill plate along eith oven i contacted service center prompt service shop no 2inara chs plot no 35 sector 42 nerul , 6512337 ph no they told me ti pay 375.rs for grill paid if with every oven grill plate is free so why should i pay money for that . u r call center person is also not able to answer me properly name is mr. singh ph no [protected], pl give me call on phone no [protected] as early as possible. other wise i have to take action againt this!

              We purchased a Morphy Richards Food processor on 12/1/2010, model Select 600. From Day one we started operating this equipment we have had problems. the lid of the main jar had a broken part. We registered our first complaint with their authorised service centre " Pant Sales and Services, Pandav nagar, Delhi. Our complanit # was 756A which was registered by their customer service person. It took the person almost 3 weeks to attend and solve the problem due to unavailability of parts with them. Call attended by Mr. Rakesh ( [protected]). Again after this we had same issues as the same part broke again along with the main regulator which also developed cracks. Our second complaint 338H was registered 3 months ago and till date our complaint has not been resolved. We have been speaking to their so called manager Mr. Madan( [protected]),[protected] Ms. Jyoti) . Both of these people have been giving us false assurances of dates and till date nobody has turned up. Service quality of Morphy richards partnerts Bajaj Electricals is very very poor. They cost of Morphy Richards products is highest among its competitors hoever their product quality has declined and their service quality is pathetic to say the least. Pls give me a call on [protected] or I shall start proceeding to take appropriate action against the company. I shall recommend people to restrain from buying morhy richards product as their service quality is really really poor.

              Similar experience - I had purchased a Microwave oven, it is not working from Day 1 and i have been following up with the customer care for last 10 days - No body is ready to even attend your complaint.

              Mr. Madan - so called Area Head is not reachable throughout the Day.

              No shared by the customer care for Avon Service Center - again no body picking up the call...

              Pathetic experience - Never buy any Morphy Richard Product, if you buy it persume it to be as goog as a chinese product bought with no gurantee- service expectation.

                sir i had baught a mixer grinder of this company on 21/09/2009 with five years warranty.my mixer is not working for the last two months.I have booked the complaint with their authorised service centre in jaipur almost more than one month.since then i am requesting the service centre to repair the machine but they are not bothered at all.I have talked to the owner of the service centre personally for more than 10 times but he is not responding he either doesnot attend the call or he makes some new reason .
                Here i would like to suggest to all the reader and other buyers of electronic appliances that donot buy applinces of MORPHY RICHARDS as their service after sale is very very poor EVEN in the time of full warranty

                sir i had bought a food processor of Murphy Richards before 1 year in sales India ahmedabad in chandkheda in india with 2 year guaranty so i complain i m repair my processor 4 times and without use its not working so whats ur 2 year guaranty and i also suggest don't buy Murphy Richards product because of its poor quality and poor service reply with my solution.

                But now I'll opt for Philips, even though its a bit more expensive.

                  The product was purchased from an authorised dealer in Delhi in April 2009. The price was INR 3200. At the time of purchase, 2 year guarantee was provided. Within one month, the plastic base of jars started cracking and eventually broke apart. None of the Bajaj service centres listed in the warranty card were ready service the product stating that they are not repairing Morphy Richards products anymore. The correct contact details were obtained from Regional Sales Manager for the Morphy Richards line from Bajaj office in Asaf Ali road in Delhi. The service technician sent by the centre refused to repair the parts in warranty saying that we had mishandled the product. After a lot of drama, the Regional Sales Manager admitted that there were several design flaws in the product which affected the overall durability. He arranged to repair the faulty components free of cost. But within a month itself, the repaired parts started falling apart again (cracks in the same locations as before). After seeing this I was convinced that the product is indeed flawed. I immediately contacted the dealer who sold us this product and to my shock he admitted that due to a high volume of complaints he has stopped selling Morphy Richards products.

                  I want the company (Morphy Richards India and/or Bajaj Electricals) to refund the money in full or replace the product with a good quality one. Also, I would like to warn future customers of this and want the company to issue a product recall notice on account of the many design flaws in the product.

                    Poor Product Quality, Service

                    I have purchased Juicer cum mixer from Morphy Richards which is distributed and serviced by Bajaj Electronics in India. The product is made of poor quality plastics and steel and within 2 months time it started breaking and even the stainless steel parts started splitting off.

                    I have made a complaint with Bajaj and they have sent a technician initially and said they will have to replace coupler and motor because both are damaged...
