dear sir i am suresh kumar my request no is [protected],k no is [protected].
i am realy fedup with the service that ndpl provide to us.i register my complainte in ndpl callcenter,zone,CMG deparment and there website aslo regarding my load enhancement sice 18th of september 2009 and i m nt geting any apropriate reply from any of the department. ndpl callcenter says me that there is a no fsibility there. but ndpl zonal manager([protected]) of our area mailed you that there is a fisibility.but ndpl cmg department is not replying to my complaintes.and some of ndpl employee told me that give them 13000 rupees as a bribery then the meter will be insall with in a week.i want a ans from ndpl.then there is no fissibility requires.plz took my problm seriousl and reply me as early as possible

Vide Load Increase Reqest No[protected] Document & Site Visit already held. Astonishingly I am told by CC that file is held with remark "Area Unelectrified" by Zonal Office.Beyond doubt my exisitn power is running and in neighbourhood Medium Indl Units wkg with connection upto 100kws.How this remarks holds relevance need to be evaluated.Shall expect corrective and quick remedial action
Attention CMG Officer, Keshwam Pura, Lawarence Road.
I clock in my request for Load Increase to 21KW and not 20KW from 1KW(existing) Plz make note of this and do needful while raising Demand Note.

    Residence — Meter is very fast

    Dear sir

    Please help us last month our meter reading was around 300 and now this is reading 900. We have no any AC, Heater, Geyser, We have only 4 to 5 tube lights, three fans, two coolers, 1 fridge how it is possible that meter reading is very fast. Please check this meter. I am giving u address H-72B, New Palam Vihar, Phase - 1, Gurgaon 122017. Please help us.

      NDPL has the policy of installing tampered meter thru contractors ,then after a year they will come to your home ,they
      will book the case in DAE ,even if your seals are intact (BCOZ Honorable DERC has said the benificiary is culprit)
      At the name of Honorable DERC they are ditching delhites.
      And as far as the behavior is concerned that is quiet disgusting,that is shame on CEO of organization who has recruited such guys who even don't know how to speak to 68 yrs old man.
      They told that as your case booked under DAE you cant go to CGRF you can only go to criminal court after depostiting 50% of penalty.
      If Honorable DERC has given them such tool to reduce T&d lossed , then losses should have reached to zero level, then why distribution co. are demanding for energy ch. hike

      What you said is 100% correct. The same happened to me last month and I was running around but no results. Our flat was locked as we were out of delhi for the last two years. Now we have returned to Delhi and are residing in our flat. When they found out that we started living in our flat, these people came for inspection of our old meter which was burnt(due to short circuit) one and a half years ago which was replaced by a new meter that was installed within three days, and made a false accusation of tampering the old meter and claimed about 30 (THIRTY) TIMES of our average monthly bill. What would one say to such people??

      I curse them that god will punish these people and their children suitably so that in future they shall not commit such crimes to anybody else. These filthy acts are enforced only upon normal and innocent people. I am in the process of submitting my case to higher authorities.

        I PURCHASE PREPAID COUPON WORTH RS.8500. BUT THAT WAS NOT CHARGING MY METER. WHEN I GO TO DISTRICT OFFICE AT SHAKTI NAGAR & KESHAV PURAM THEY PROVIDE ME THE MOBILE NO. OF MR. NEERAJ ([protected]) & SAID THAT HE IS THE PERSON IN NDPL WHO DEALS IN PRE-PAID COUPON COMPLAINS. BUT HIS MOBILE REMAINS SWITCH OFF AND UNANSWERED ALWAYS. I ALSO TRIED CONSUMER CALL CENTER NO.[protected] BUT THEY ALSO SAY THAT ONLY NIRAJ WILL HELP YOU. HOW MY PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED. K. NO. [protected]

          Sir,
          This is to inform u dat My Electricity Meter K. No.[protected] is not showing display for 6/7 days. and in this regard I came to know when one person namely Amit who made a telephonic call through M. No. [protected] and stated to be an NDPL employee informed that ur meter is not working and it may be meter tampering case and further told that our team will visit on 22nd Jan2011 and for d reason I stayed at home bt no one came. My govt flat H. No. 14/L, Police Colony, Model Town is often locked and having a hectic schedule of police working. I made regular call at the caller no. but it always found switched off. Neither any person has visited nor any solution has been made. I am regularly paying electricity bill and even for this month too I have received bill and probably it seems that the default in meter is very recent. Kindly send the concerned person to look into the matter.

            This complaint is for NDPL Power Ltd. As I am the consumer of domestic electricity since September-1986 in my residence 63/1, 1st Floor, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi-110085 and now NDPL billed me in my current bill with an amount of Rs.4650/- for a billed units of 1249, which is beyind my paying capacity.

            This may be seen from last two decades that I had never consumed electricity more then 400 units any of my electricity bill. My energy meter is tested by NDPL team and declared working OK (Results within limits). It is not understood how my energy meter reading jumped to 1000 units in current bill. Kindly look into the matter and give me the justice.

            This complaint is for NDPL Power Ltd. As I am the consumer of domestic electricity J J Colony since Dec-2009 in my residence N-7b/321 Shaheed Sukhdev NagarWazirpur Ind Area Near A-143 Delhi 110052 and now NDPL billed me in my current bill with an amount of Rs.1579/- for a month bill after subsidy, which is beyond my paying capacity.

            This may be seen from last 10 months that I had never consumed electricity more then rs 350 any of my electricity bill. My energy meter is tested by NDPL team and declared working OK (Results within limits). It is not understood how my energy meter reading jumped to rs 1579 in current bill. Kindly look into the matter and give me the justice.

              As per above complaint our old meter was burned so after complaint new meter was installed on dt 6th May’09 but when we received our first bill for the m/o July’09 we were surprised to see that bill amount is app. Rs 10,000/- which was very high, so we made a complaint on your website against complaint no NDPL028692 on dt 14/7/09 & 17/7/09 but there was reply. Now when we received our bill for the m/o Sept’09 we were shocked to see that bill amount is app. Rs 40,000/- which is ten times higher then our previous bill. So you are requested to please check and rectify my current bill for the m/o Sept’09 and also change our faulty new meter. Today we gone to your NDPL,Sector-3,Rohini office with previous bills(3 Years) for reference and they have deposited Rs 50/- against our complaint and told us that engineer will visit within 15 days.

              Today dt 27/10/09 NDPL engineer had tested the meter and told us to meet NDPL zonal manager to clear the issue. When we visited NDPL office they again filed our complaint for meter jumping, we request you to please understand that how an MIG Society Flat can fetch a electricity bill of Rs 40,000/-. Please forward this mail to any senior NDPL officer who can understand middle class family’s problem and rectify our bill for the m/o Sept’09.

              kindly draw your attention towards theft of electricity in our locality (H-Block Jahangir Puri, Masjid wali Gali).Mr Sanjay(Electrician) and house no.H[protected]In house no. H-1495 the light had been cut from last two years) all are indulge in theft of electricity for last couple of years Direct from the electric poll.Some time they orgnize function and take the light direct from the electric poll. They distribute electricity to their tenantes by illegale and faulty electricity sub meters.Please take some strict action against them.One more thing i want to share with you they theft electricity before 8 am and after 7 pm daily.All because of these peoples your costing is increased and we innocent people bare your losses in form of increase of electricity cost by you.So please do something urgently.

At the time of purchase of flat I took loan from Canara Bank, Fountain Br., the loan was repaid and I released my Conveyanced deed, which was shown to your staff, Why you have objected on this issue .                     SIR MY NORMAL BILL IS[protected] AND THE METER READING IS IN BETWEEN 900-1000.BUT THIS TIME IT IS SHOWING A BILL AMOUNT OF 13210 AND THE METER READING IS SHOWING AT 2932 UNITS USED. I HAVE NOT CONSUMED ANYTHING ETC THIS TIME . SO I AM NOT BEEN ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHY THE METRE IS SHOWING SUCH A HIGH CONSUMPTION. PLZ DO THE NEEDFULL

                    1. That the petitioner was the registered consumer of electricity connections bearing K. No.s[protected] I. P. &[protected] I. L. (now [protected]) installed at above-mentioned address. The connections were sanctioned for industrial purpose for a load of 14.92 KW (IP) & 1 KW (IL) and were being used as such and there was no misuse.

                    2. That as the petitioner did not require the said connections further, he accordingly made a request with the respondent for permanent disconnection of the said connections & removal of the meters vide his letter dated 20.07.2002. The said request was duly received by the respondent on the same day.

                    3. That after the receipt of the said request, respondent sent the bills against the above-stated connections with due date of 30.10.2002. In the said bills, current reading against the IP connection was shown as 25480 & against the IL connection was shown as 2003. Both the bills were duly paid by the petitioner. Thus all the dues till that date were cleared by the petitioner. Thereafter, petitioner did not receive any bill against the said connections.

                    4. That the petitioner even did not use the above-stated electricity connections thereafter.

                    5. That the respondent without any rhyme and reason, unnecessarily delayed the removal of the meters against both the above-stated electricity connections and the meters were removed by the respondent only on 22.08.2003, i.e. after a delay of more than one year after the receipt of the request of disconnection, without any justification and without any fault on the part of the petitioner.

                    6. That the petitioner on 23.02.2004 represented the respondent regarding refund of the security amount deposited by the respondent against the said connections as the said connections were already disconnected permanently and the meters against the same were also removed and the bills sent by the respondent were paid by the respondent but the respondent paid no heed to the legitimate requests of the petitioner.

                    7. That the respondent suddenly sent a notice dated 25.03.2009 to the petitioner wherein an outstanding amount of Rs. 50, 470/- was shown as arrears in his name against the K.No. [protected] which connection was already permanently disconnected by the respondent on the request of the petitioner after the clearance of the outstanding electricity bills.

                    8. That the petitioner was shocked to see the said notice as he himself got the meters disconnected after payment of all the pending dues. When he contacted the district office of the respondent, he was handed over a copy of the bill against the above-stated electricity connection showing the outstanding arrears as Rs. 50, 476.65 which is absolutely illegal and unjustified in view of the facts mentioned above.

                    9. That the respondent again sent a notice dated 02.04.2009 to the father of the petitioner to transfer the alleged illegal dues wrongly shown in the name of petitioner to the existing electricity connection of the father of the petitioner.

                    10. That the respondent since then is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner and his father and is extending the threats of disconnection of electricity of the connection of the father of the petitioner.

                    11. That, however, the petitioner in order to buy peace tried to settle the matter with the respondent in the Permanent Lok Adalat, Mata Sundri Lane, New Delhi. The matter could not be settled there due to adamant attitude of the respondent.

                    12. That the petitioner is not liable to make any payment in respect of any fixed or minimum guarantee charges accrued after 20.07.2002 i.e. after the date of request of the petitioner for the removal of meters and for permanent disconnection of the electricity connections.

                    PRAYER

                    It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Forum may be pleased to: -

                    a) Quash the illegal bill of Rs. 50, 476.65 raised by the respondent against K. No. [protected], being illegal and arbitrary and not payable by the petitioner at all;

                      I have an electricity connection from NDPL company with K.no.[protected]Y in the name of Pradeep Rohilla. This connection is installed at T-106 Shivaji Nagar Gali no. 4 Narela Delhi 110040.My normal bill for two month was about Rs.900 since last many years. But from last four month this has been increased to about Rs.4000 and Rs3000 respectivly. This excess billing has been started after my complaint is attended by NDPL employee for no electricity.This is to inform you that no extra load is attached during this period.Our home is closed at 0900 in morning and opened at 1500hr as I and my wife are working and my children come at 1500hr. Now you can yourself guess that how much electricity will be used by us.This excess billing has been disappointed me very much. Kindly arrange to check and verify our excess billing complaint and adjust our excess payment in next bill

Before this bill I had received a bill of Meter Reading 1325 i.e.for Rs.5, 250/-. But I have not paid due to wrong meter reading. I have made a complaint on your call centre. After complaint I have received a rectified bill of Rs. 1, 650/-. But today I saw that this bill is wrong. You have change our meter on 15/06/09 and this is the first bill for the period from 15/06/09 to 28/08/09 ( Two Months and 13 Days ).
                      You are requested to please check you have charged only 70 Units @ 2.45 per unit instead on 369 units, because the period of this bill is two months and 13 days. Kindly correct the bill and credit the excess amount in my next bill and oblige.

                        Sub :- Request to do the needful favor.

                        Enforcement Department has raised demand of Rs 35888. After discounts we have to pay Rs 27400 by due date 27/08/09 but due to Fund problem we have not deposited the same within the due date. On 9/09/09 the NDPL staff came and disconnected our electricity by Cutting Off our Meter Cable from the center of home and Pole.

                        No Final Notice for Disconnecting the line has been given to us, further the time at which the NDPL has disconnected our line no Family Member was present at home only the Renters were present, by the time the Renters contact us the NDPL staff have already Cut Off the Line.

                        More than half Cable was Cut and the NDPL staff had took that cable with them.

                        Somehow we arranged the fund and deposited the same on 10/09/09 and filed application for reconnecting our electricity line, we have been assured that the line will be connected within 2 days, however despite of connecting the line we have received a call on 15/09/09 from the NDPL that we have to deposit Rs 3060 for the Cable, only then the line will be connected.

                        We have deposited the amount on same day for Cable to get our line connected. But till now no line is connected and we are facing many difficulties.

                        We just want to clear on the following issues :-
                        1) Is it not the duty of the NDPL to give a show cause notice before disconnecting the Cable/Line ?
                        2) Is it legal to disconnect the line in the absence of Family Members.
                        3) Is it right that the NDPL Staff has Cut the Cable from Center of the home and Pole ? It should have been cut from the Pole itself.
                        4) Is it Right that the NDPL has Cut Off the Cable and take it with them and at the time of reconnecting the line they are asking for Cable Charges?

                        Now, I m requesting to…..
                        1) Return me the waste cable or
                        2) Do not charge me the amount of new cable or
                        3) Give me discount in new cable.

                          I am resident of B-1095A SHASTRI NAGAR. I bought this house from Mr.RAJENDER JAIN who had a meter which was taken off by NDPL on owners request one year earlier . Some dues were not cleared by NDPL before taking off . NOW after 12 months of my buying house NDPL representive comes and asks for dues to be paid.I took him to Mr.RAJENDER JAIN who lives in B-1041 he told me that its an affaair between jain and NDPL, I will not be involvedJAIN ALSO AGGREED .BUT now after 18 months NDPL is again troubling me BECAUSE JAIN IS NOT PAYING DUES.WHEN NDPL knows the actual offender dues shoud be shifted to his KNO.in place of troubling me

                            We are facing hard as July august bill dated 21 July has exceeded 5 years billing value and terrif.
                            Our K.No. [protected]G; Book No. 0524082; Civil Line; zone: Vijay Nagar.
                            As you know that our honourable Chief Minister has promised us Senior Citizen that all possible action would be taken to reduce bill amount and Excess payment by checking fast running meters and checking one year bills and then present bill amount would be adjusted in next bill. July aug 2009 bill amount is Rs. 9780.00 Now please compare from previous months bills amount Rs. 3920.00;1260.00;1860.00, which shows that slowly or faster NDPL is raising terrif and other charges and we have become victim of this.
                            May i request your honor to kindly look in tio this matter and correct our meter and bill as well.

                              On 14th Sep 2009 night suddenly our power went off, called the customer care of NDPL and the technicians were there within an hour to provide the resolution. After their brief investigation they found that the power cable which connects the NDPL pole and our electric meter is faulty. According to my undersatnding the cable first of should have not been gone faulty, but if at all it went, then at same time NDPL should have replaced it with the much better quality. Instead of which they just provided a temporary connection by a very low quality house hold wire. Which could not even bare the load of any high power drawing appliance like washing machine, cloth iron, Cooler, A.C. etc. So how that poor wire could take the load of two houses (G.F. & F.F.). After the NDPL Zonal Office, Badli (As I reside in Rohini Sector-15) was contacted, they asked for Rs.3000/- to get the wire replaced or the District office should be contacted for the free service. When the District office in Rohini Sector 15 was contacted they said that the cable is not available nad atleast 5-7 days would be the ETR. Me & my family are facing lot of problem as we cannot use washing machine, water pump, A.C. etc so we are suffering from heat, humidity and more over no or limited water. After this I tried to get some complaint Number for NDPL so called the customer again, they gave me a complaint # [protected] on which no one could be contacted as the phone was never picked. I think this mail might help me and future victims of NDPL to get thru this.

                                    I am residence of North west delhi in Prem Nagar Part-II Janki Vihar Delhi-86. We all facing lot of problem due to electricity down problem. Every day electricity had cutted in night up to 2 or 3 hours it's their daily drama, whenever rains came, or wind storm came they cu down the electicity.In these hours generally people have most necessary of lights.Every one facing lot's of problem due to it, Student can, t study, people can't sleep whole night.

                                    So I request please regulate the electricity problem .

                                    Sir, I'm a college student, pursuing BA from Delhi University. I'm a resident of Lawrence Road (A-2 Block). There's a park exactly adjacent to my home... which truly adds to its beauty. This park was recently beautified. Apart from updating the status of the plants, trees, grass and swings for the children, several beautiful lights were installed around the fence of the park... it does enhance the beauty of the park but my concern is tht being a student of higher studies, i need cnstant supply of electricity in my home bt most of the share of electricity for our block is spent in the park itself at night. these fancy lights are switched from 6 pm- 6 am and really bothr the ersidents who live exact adjacent to this park, . there's Kendriya Vidyalaya, Keshav Puram in the vicinity and most of the students live here itself! they are all cmplaining abt the irregular lighting pattern. plz switch on these lights till 11 pm and nt beyond tht because aftr that, there is hardly a passer by who could notice the beauty of thye park n invest the saved portion in our homes.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    We had reported for excess bills and requested for meter checking for its speed. After two checks the meter was declared faulty, Nov To Jan 2010 billed raised 3350 /- so i have told our area Manger so those gave me comment bill not be short so you have pay in installment. its suggest our area manager. we could not pay this amount pay however the bill used to come on regular basis and we were asked to pay the same to avoid disconnection and we did the same. We were assured that after the replacement...

                                      Hello

                                      my k.no [protected] V install by NDPL after january 2008 my first 4to 5 bill are coming as my previous bill were there but now my latest bill is 10000 for 2 month for 2 fan 3 CFL, 2 tubelights 1 laptop and 1 AC and all are working on 35 percent in a day. as i work in day and wife stays at home.

                                      although i have paid 6300 last bill and make the complaint and they have charge Rs. 50 for that, visited my home checked it and said your meter is fast but our machine say it is going perfect after checking the complete load of my house

                                      i am unble to manage now by paying huge electricty bill. please help for the same.

                                      Please help me for the same so that i can make complaint in that section

                                        We have purchased G.F n-13 and checked there was no dues pending on such meter handed /transferred to our name . We got the Groung floor and we got the name transferred to our name and to our surprise the bill was generated with Penalty for RS 1, 02, 490 as (4998 current demand of electricity usage and + old arrears i.e 97634 of first floor added to our Bill ) .We are suprised by the NDPL that we have no corned with First Fllor and you may yourself check the name of theowner is Satish arora and we purchased from Sh Shiv Nath . How can NDPl transfer to our account in which we have no role . We are enclosing our old paid bill from Shiv Nath & Name transfer where there was no penalty . I think it is a clearly a Gunda Raj as you can charge your neighbour for your mischeief .How are we responsible for the theft/ dues of First Floor .It the duty of your Deptt. to go and collect dues from First flor not ours . So kindly rectify the metre and send us our actual consumption so that we can deposit our billl .
                                        My K.no is [protected]s clearly showing Ground Floor Shiv Nath Transfered to Kamna Khanna & Due is on Satish Arora Resident of N-13 First Floor clearly mentiond on will with Due for Rs 86668.43. Copy enclosed .

                                        i state that this bill no [protected] of my flat having k.no[protected]z for the month of nov.09 shows an arrears rs. 2636.58 where as i have never been defaulter.i am billed for rs.2220.00 which is not correct.please rectify and give detail
