The Street light poll.No.C M 103 P3 (32) nahar pur rohini sector -7 chandni market attached N.D.P.L transformer one person has been committing theft of electricity from this poll since last tow three year . complaint has been made regarding this many time on telephone no. 27468030 and 66404444 and shakti deep building rohini sec – 3 in writing compliant has been made to the other forum under slogan of (inform and take reward ) having compliant no.187 and 189 .the person who is committing theft is an influential person and because of his connections no action has been taken against him. The above said influential person whose name is dhanraj S% chote lal has installed a separate electric tube on street light in collusion with employees of your N.D.P.L department He is using that electricity connection to start his water pump for his illegal occupied land and for his cattle’s
Kindly take proper and necessary action against the wrongdoer

Koi hai jo is bijali chori se nijat dila sake...
I kindly draw your attention towards theft of electricity in our locality.Mr ... House no D2/262 Sultan Puri Delhi-110086 they all are indulge in theft of electricity for last couple of years.They distribute electricity to their tenantes by illegale and faulty electricity sub meters.Please take some strict action against them.One more thing i want to share with you they theft electricity before 8 am and after 7 pm daily.All because of these peoples your costing is increased and we innocent people bare your losses in form of increase of electricity cost by you.So please do something urgently.

    Dear sir,

    For your kind informtion I am Devinder Kumar Panwar R/O WZ-803 Naraina Village, New Delhi-110028. My Electricity Meter K No is [protected]J I received a Bill No.[protected] Dt.05/03/2009 for Rs.360/- My K.No.is [protected]J but at the time of deposition not accepted my bill amount and provide a bill No.[protected] Dt.29/06/2009 for Rs.9730/- then i inquiry from the help desk representative regarding this amount he said this is arriears then i ask the detail about the arrears after check the computer record and inform me take bill for this K No.[protected] F then i discussed regarding this k no. is not my and not my bill then he said give me a complained request then i file a complained for check this matter and provide a correct bill but next bill receive in the same position then i file a complained again but not rececive any response after sometime I receive a letter No.CM/MTN[protected] Dt.31/07/2009 for settelment of dues through personal hearing for scheduled for Dt.10/08/2009 at consumer care Centre. Inder Puri New Delhi. then i met with NDPL representative and given a reply against letter and request for personally inspection of our premises and pls.check both meter and premises is seprate afeter my complained NDPL officer come my premises and chack all metter personally and given a report to NDPL department after the Inspector report we met with Commercial Officer Madem Damini Gogia and discuss with all matter and settle all dispute and she is promiss me regarding this matter is short out and after some time i feed in computer and your next bill is you receive is correct and at the last meeting Medem Gogia right on my bill please pay the current charges then I pay the current demand Rs.768/- Dt. 9/11/2009 after deposition this amount i met with again commercial officer Medem Gogia and request for regarding NDPL staff disturb in time to time them Gogia Madem right on my bill ZM (1302)BA , Bill under revision pls. do not disscunnect but after long time my problem is same and no response from NDPL side my last bill deposition Dt.16/06/2010 for rs.261/- is update but previous day i reach at home my electricty connection is disscunnect without my family and my knowledge so our request check this matter and continue my connection as soon as possible.

      We were all very happy after Mrs. Shiela Dixit declared that there will be no power cuts this years and that she will check this. Alas, We wonder whether she is aware that the power cuts continue to happen even after this. Last one week has been the worst. Power cuts during the day time are still tolerable since most o[censored]s are not at home during that time and can manage that time. But the nights 1-2-3 hours starting from 10 pm onwards! The soaring temperatures 47 degrees, schools, colleges, office next day. One is tired because of the heat, physical, mental pressures of the present day and have only the night to rejuvenate by sleeping & resting for few hours so that we are ready for the next day ordeal.

      The power cuts, cuts us down, rips us apart - middle of the week and we cannot practice our basis right of resting. Middle of the week and we are more tired, lethargic for the next day. How will we perform - for ourselves, our families, our states and even our nation?? How will we think about our country if we are denied our basic rights??

      As a topping to it at the peak hour of power cuts, the customer care was not approachable at all. No matter how many hours we called to almost all the numbers listed by NDPL on their bills.

      We want to know when will this system get into place??

      We should not surprise here...its so natural...its the real picture of our India...we are going to enjoy COMMONWEALTH game in india we should be proud...& being the capiatl of India delhi is ready to provide all the facilities...shame to ourself...after 63 yrs of independence the cpital of india is here where there is no gurantee of electricity on hot 45 degree too, i[censored] ask the ndpl u wont get any reply & i[censored] will complain to Chief Minister complain shell they will hear everything & will also reply "sir!its so hot so there may be short supply"...great reply from there too...i[censored] wont pay electricity bill u will be panalised, disconnectio etc, i[censored] will not pay mcd tax the authorities will harm u but where the government system is failure there is punishment...i hate politics ...i never trust nowadays politics...only very very very few politicians are(may) be honest...im not blaming government of any party but its our india & we are proud of being indian...

          Hi,
          I am Pankaj Pandey, House no. H-3/87 Sultanpuri Delhi-110086. I have an issue regarding meter replacement. couple of weeks back few ndpl employees came to my house to check the meter and asked us to come to rohini-sec 3 office for further details. When we went to the office, then available officer said to us that according to them present meter is slow and we need to change into another new meter. My question is if we are using this meter since 5-6 years and in between we and NDPL had no problem and today they are forceing us to change the meter. There is no proper reason and facts to change the meter. I have also forwarded my concern to NDPL but there is no response.

          So Pankaj what has happened since then? Did you receive any response from NDPL? or did these contractors came again to your place to change the meter?

          Even I have come across such incidents where these contractors come and say we have to change meter, for no reason. When meter is already working fine why should I get it changed? Actually NDPL has hired these contractors to change faulty meters, and these contractors get something about Rs 200-500 for a meter change from NDPL, and for this reason they come to every house and ask for meter change. Some people agree to them, and some do not. They are just contractors who are trying to make money out of nothing.

          Please let me know your response on this.

          Hey dis is deepika here.I compltly agree wid you guys ...bt how to tackle these contractors as they threaten us that they'll cut the electricity supply on that very day, in case we won't allow 'em to change the meters.Please suggest me a way out...

            i beg to say that iam citizen of G block Shakur Pur colony. In our locality some shop keepers on footpath are using illeagle electricit from our G block ramlila ground and from DMS room which both have electricity connection without electricity meter. Some of the icecreams rickshaw man using this electricity for charge the battery of thier rickshaw. By this misbheave all the citizen of our lacality...

              Subject:-Frequently Power Cut-off for Every Day

              Dear Sir,

              Regarding the above subject matter We would like to bring in your kind attention that we are facing big problem due to frequent power cut-off for 4 to 6 hours and 8 to 12 times in a day from last few months.

              The summer season is just comes and we are facing these kind of problems.Whenever rains starts, air blow in form of storm the electricity cut-off by the ndpl.There are so much load on the area .I think it covering whole sultan puri,kirari and prem nagar part-I part-II and some surrounding areas. I could not understand why they are not giving any solution of such kind of problems while they are getting much revenue from us. They can distribute the load so that the problem can be resolved.

              We have talked from the ndpl employee they just say we are doing our works what can we do. you do whatever all of you want to complain higher authority or someone else.

              There are approx lakhs of people living in these area every one is frustrated due to these kind of activities of power cut-off. May be there can be situation arise that people comes on the road against the ndpl for such kind of activity.

              Sir, We would like to request you to look into the matter and take necessary action to help us so that we can live peacefully and happily and enjoy good service of NDPL.

                I made a written complaint to NDPL for the Meter Running Fast. On 16th instant a man came up & handed over a slip after obtaining signatures on meter testing report to my son who is a student. Obviously none of the family member was present at the time of meter testing. The report indicates as OK. But due to old meter, it requires replacement. It's also creaping. When the meter is OK why it's creaping on switching off the main switch. On my persosnal visit to NDPL office, Hudson Line, Delhi, to obtain answers to my querry, I was not given a satisfactory reply rather stressed upon for replacement of the meter. I am not interested in getting replaced my meter. I request to conduct a retest of the meter in the presence of atleast one member of the family to ascrtain the genunity of the test.

                  How can you close my genuine case, how can I held be responsible for others offence.

                  1. Due of others & your irresponsible behavior in keeping your record incorrect.

                  2. May I know why you didn't call me at the time when you were installing / giving new connection to other consumer in the premises.

                  3.When you called me when you were sealing and pulling the meter from the premises.

                  4. Why you given the connection without clearing the dues.

                  5. Ask you AE for the irregularities.

                  If you still don't have the answer, Than It is deemed that your department is not fair & only have selogans being fair helping the injustice.

                  I am sorry, I am not supposed to attand any office, Since I don't want to waste my time with your currupt dept. If you can give me connection deeming a genuine consumer, It,s fine otherwise thank you very much.

                    Delhi Govt.Subsidy not given in last three bills inspite of written requests and also requests noted in ndpl customer care centre. Reply/action waiting for the last three months. Also not providing the circular of ndpl or any other instructions regarding delhi govt. subsidy in case there is no dues pending. Still waiting for the benefis of delhi govt. subsidy. I am the metered customer who is saving the electricity in consumption as per delhi govt. scheme Please send the written reply alongwith the circular showing the rule in which I am not entitled the benefit of Delhi Govt. Subsidy.

                        My name is vipin kumar i am in london, i am writing on behalf of my parents who are very stressed becouse of NDPL hoolangism. My parents own a janta flat in rohini they live on first floor with two rooms only and a toilet or kitchen. As per conditions according to NDPL if somebody owns a two room janta flat there electricity load should be 1KW which is by default for every single meter. But the problem is we install an AC last year and one of my wellwisher told me that you should get your load increase by now then my parents went to Ndpl and did all the formalities and get there electricity load to 3KW after that somebody from the dept. came to check i dont know what and after sometime they made it to 6KW which is ridiculous, and so many uncertain bills which was my father trying to sought out with them in the mid time due date of bill lapsed and they straight away gone my home for the disconnection of electricity. This is not the way if it is clearly mentioned in the there are some penalty charges after due date, 30 days after the due date, 45 days after the date. How can these people come to disconnect the electricity without any prior notice. And in these bills they are charging so many things saying as the charges which a consumer doesn't know anything about. This is a proper Hoolangism in service of NDPL for the consumers i'll say consumer forum should definately do something for these kind of practices these people are like threatning people in day-light becouse most of the cases people doesn't know anything and some who know and try to speak at the end of the day they get shut becouse they not gonna get rid of this easily. They know if they try do do something by the time thier electricity will gone. I'll get back to you again with the details of the k.no and rest things once i'll get a reply. I want to see what our consumer forum can actually do for these kind of problems and help the consumers.

                          Arrears are being shown in the bills ever since the DVB times and are not being corrected inspite of repeated letters and inspite of replacement of the faulty meters by the NDPL . We are paying the current demand every cycle . They are threatening disconnection with every bill and not correcting the arrears LPSC .

                          Supply is often disconnected without any intimation or providing the disconnection order ( the consumer need to be given the identity of the babu ordering disconnection and whom to approach for restoration/remedy ) . The meter is not being sealed and no record is made of the time and date of disconnection and nor any witness is being included . The procedure for disconnection is not being followed thereby harrassment is being caused to the honest clients in the most inhumane manner as if it were a goonda /contractor raj

                            Hi,

                            I have the electricity connection from NDPL. The connection number is [protected]. Earlier we had the connection from the Thekedar's and then the tender was taken over by NDPL. We recieved a bill amount of 10000 for 6 months on April-08 and we paid the complete amount. We asked NDPL to send us the monthly bills so that it is convenient for us to pay the amount rather than sending the huge bills consolidated for 10-15 months.

                            Instead of several reminders, calls, complaints we again got the bill of 14000 in the month of August-09 and then 17000 in month of Oct-09. Now the electricity connection has been disconnected and NDPL is also threatning to take off the meter.

                            We went to the Shalimar Bagh office and met Commercial Manager (Rajeev Gupta) who does not seem to have any customer interaction ettiquetes. He was literally arguing and fighting with us. To add to it, no customer in that premises looked satisfied with NDPL system.

                            We asked him for all the bills starting from the month of April-08 till date. He told us that "No bill has been generated since April-08 as the premises was locked. (Let me phrase it out that our house is open 24*7 as there is someone always available at the premises).

                            Now the question arises that if the premises was found closed:-
                            1. Why no one bothered calling me or mailing me?
                            2. Is there any number of attempts made if the premises is locked?
                            3. How come the Bill amount is 17000 if the premises have been locked for almost all the attempts made by the NDPL guys.?
                            4. Why the connection was not disconnected when the premises was locked and the bill was not generated for almost 18 months?


                            Let me also phrase out that the meter reading has continuously been taken by the NDPL guys but the bill has not been generated. And now to cover up the things, they are saying that the premises was locked.

                            They are also not ready to accept the payment in installments...I want this to be taken with HIghest authorities and I need justice at last.

ON 5TH.,DEC.,2009 ONE MR MAHENDER VERMA HAS CHANGE THE NAME ON MY METER WHEN I GOT KNOW ON[protected] THROUGH THE NDPL EMAIL ON MY EMAIL ID FOR NEW BILL REMINDER. MAHENDER VERMA DO SO MANY REQUEST FOR NAME CHANGE SINCE AUGUST 2009 BUT HE IS NOT CAPABLE TO TRANFER THE NAME WHEN I KNOW IN AUGUST FIRST TIME PERSON TRY TO CHANGE THE NAME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION I GAVE THE LETTER TO THE CMG DEPARTMENT AS A OBJECTION LETTER.                                 name change/refund of security

                                Dear Sir,
                                I am so much haraased by ndpl but no response is given by them. I applied for the name change and security for my KNO. [protected] and given them the sale deed copy and noc first they refused about the noc that the security word is not mentioned i agree and given them the another noc with the word security mentioned in it but again they refused and the reason is that there seniors doesnt like the matter and i am helpless...

                                Dear sir... at b-1268/b R.K. dry cleaners shastri nagar the electricity is stoling..they have 2 a/c..they swith on their a/c at night after 9:30pm.. and switch off their a/c in moring at 8:00am ..they made a cut on meter wire... they also give their 100rs note to meter reader..when he comes for reading...they have shop with name of R.K. dry cleaners...and they use machine for dry clean in 2nd floor and on the roof in domestic meter... and they also have shop in at the back in which machines work is going on in domestic meter... I have given this complaint earlier also..but no action has been taken...so kindly take the action immediately. .. thanks ur well wisher
                                I want to inform you about electricity theft in Pitampura. This information is about person who have a shop named Raju bhai jari wala, CD-81A, Pitam pura, New Delhi. He is highly involved in electricity theft in his shop. He is living at top floor on same building that address is CD-81A, Pitampura, New Delhi. He is getting connection from his residence to his shop & used domestic supply in commercial purpose. Also electricity meter used for his house is not working properly.
                                Due to navratra & diwali he is using many heavy connection in his shop & take all electricity by theft.
                                I will request you to send your team on before one or two days from Diwali for caught him in clean hand.
                                Not only a single person there is around 20 shop in same market, which all are highly involved in electricity theft. Due to your officers connection they are getting success in this theft.
                                Please take action against them on before one or days from Diwali.

                                Electricity theft
                                Dear Sir,
                                I am to inform you that I made 5-6 complaints against electricity theft at ''F'' Block, Gali No.10, Rama Vihar Near Omkar Dham Mandir, Delhi-110081 by some residents directly from electricity pole at 7.00PM To 7.00Am .Electricity theft by your ndpl line man and trip taken 1000 per house But surprisingly no action has been taken so far and they are continuously theft the electricity. There is some involvement of your staff in this mal practice of electricity theft otherwise it is not possible. The main thieves are working in police and they have relations with local police also as whenever any surprise raid is conducted they removed the wire from electricity pole/main wire and thereafter they again start theft the electricity. Therefore, i suggest not to engage local police with the raid and some other force of neighbour police station may be engaged so that actual thieves could be apprehended red handed. There is need to conduct raids during the night hours i.e. after 8 PM when all the thieves theft electricity from electricity pole/main wire. The theft is carried out at Electricity Pole No., Pole No. is 513-6 /12-2-2. They have also removed the stright light from that poles so that no body could easily identify the electricity theft. The houses near to electricity poles are regularly thieving electricity despite repeated complains. This might be causing a huge financial loss to the NDPL. Request to take stern action against them and concerned officers may also be pulled for not taking action against the electricity theft. Please let me know the outcome of the complaint as well as concerned authority where the complaint could be lodged fo

                                It is to inform you that residents of A-558/4, Ground floor, Shastri Nagar, Delhi -110052 are using domestic meters for commercial operations as well as they have stopped their electric meter and causing loss to NDPL every month.                                 Dear Sir,
                                It is to inform you that I have made 5-6 complaints against electricity theft at ' H.no -90 kumharo wali gali Pitam Pura Village Delhi-110034' by a Government clerk. The house owner's name is Harinder kumar s/o Nehal singh. He has made a cut in the main line and hide the cut part of the wire inside the wall. He has been doing this for 5-6 years continously. But surprisingly no action has been taken so far and they are continuously theft the electricity. The main thieves are working in MCD department. Request to take stern action against them and concerned officers may also be pulled for not taking action against the electricity theft.

IN MY AREA PLOT NUMBER 303 AND 304 BOTH LONG TIME USE TOO MUCH ELECTRICITY WITHOUT PAY . YESTERDAY I HAVE SEEN SOME THING WRONG HIS METER SO PLS SEE THIS PROBLEM AND STOP ELECTRICITY THEFT . I HOPE U WILL DO SOMETHING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

                                  i am a resident of PUNJABI COLONY, NARELA, DELHI- 110040.
                                  here in this colony in ''GALI NO. 9'', a new house is being built up.
                                  the person cocerned has a meter installed but is using 5 extra wires to withdraw electricity by stealing .
                                  the stealing is affecting the whole line as the wattage drawn are too much.
                                  please take appropriate action against this.

                                  I want to say that people living in police colony( shalimar bagh, near kela godown) making theft of electricity. there house no is 179 to 186. they can use street light in the night b/w 9 p.m to early i n the morning. i am a well wisher of ndpl that by i am informing u.
