I bought a Nokia monster purity head phones on November, which stopped working on November end...I purchased it on November 22nd...so I went to Nokia care in kollam Kerala...they told me I will get the replacement only after 15 days...I told them I should get it within 20 days as I am relocating to Bangalore...after 15 days I called to check the status and one lady working there was very rude and told the stock is not available And they they don't know when it will be available...and the funny part it they do sent even bothered to call and tell me this...anyways again ni called them after a week asking the same...by that time I have already relocated to Bangalore...so I asked them to courier it to my Bangalore address...after 2days I got a call from them saying the product has arrived and will courier the same day...I waited for a week for the courier... But I never got o one... I called them after a week and the answer I got was it was never been posted...I asked why...and they shouted at me saying this is how they work...this time I had to call them to know the status...I waited for one more week...in between my number got changed...so called them to update my number...but before I could update my number they disconnected the call...after one week again I called...the answer I got is they already couried it...I told I never got the courier...I asked for the courier service name ...the funny part was they do sent even know the courier service name or their contact number or consignment number...they first told it is express courier and then told it is TNT...I contacted both...they don't have any records...what am I supposed to do...that headset cost me 5000 rs...I am so pissed off right now

Locating a Nokia Care Centre (NCC) is very Easy !
SMS “NCC<space><City Name>” & send it to 55555, within few seconds you will receive the list of NCCs in that city.
Recently I figured that there was a burning smell from my phone (NOKIA 920). The port had been mildly burnt cause of which I am unable to charge my phone!

I was told by the Nokia care centre of KOCHI (BANERJI ROAD) employee that the battery cover along with the port need to be changed. Through googling I figured the port is a seperate piece and can be replaced. When I encountered this fact to the employee he agreed and told me he will try getting the port alone

After ttwo days he had called me to inform that the port will be available but service would take around 20-40 days, stating that the port has to come from Nokia factory in chennai..!

Why should I wait for 20-40 days when local shops can replace within a day or maximum a week?
Plus how assured can I be that my phone will not be misused by employees?

I request the company totake actuin ASAP ! It's very unfair to do this to me.
I am a hostelite and my only hope lays on this Nokia Care'shelp. VERY UNHAPPPY with thekind of service provided.

Hoping for a positive reply.

Hi Nokia I have been using Nokia devices from past 8 years. 2 months back I have purchased Nokia lumia 720 from a Nokia priority dealer. Accidentally I have dropped the phone from just 40 cms height, the display glass has broken badly. I went to Nokia care, they are saying that the replacement charge is 7500, which is half of the phone cost. My phone is under warranty. May I know why you are charging this much cost. Even no insurance company is offering accidental insurance. Is there any way for me to get the replacement with less cost? I am starting recommending people not to go for Nokia. You can reach me on [protected] or v.[protected]@ymail.com

[protected]. i have purchased mobile phone Nokia E6 on 13/04/2013 from authorized nokia dealer in Vashi Navi Mumbai, i have attached the bill copy of the same and even the replacement note along with this e-mail. the mobile since the time i have purchased was sent number of times for repair i appreciate that Nokia company agreeing the problem replaced the hand set E6 in month of June, 2013 but even the replaced mobile has the same problem of network drop and restart, in spite of number of visits to there authorized service centre M/s Syona service, Vashi Navi Mumbai the hand set is under same problem. on that ever time when i give the hand set for repair at authorized service centre M/s Syona service, Vashi Navi Mumbai, Nokia call centre tell me to give them a job sheet no so that they can keep i close watch on the registered complaint and every time the reason is same this time the hand set is thoroughly observed and check and hence the problem will not arise. this thing has happen for more then 6 to 7 times and now i think i am been followed as a customer. i request them to please sort out the matter we have been your valued customers for more then 12 years but i think they are not bother with the same and just giving me reasons so the hand set will go out of warranty and they can get a run. I want my money back or equivalent phone or above model i can pay them the difference or let them agree after so many times of repair and observation they are unable to meet the desired standard of mobile phone basic function of connectivity and restart problem. I beg you to resolve my problem it very frustrating to see that some one is fooling you with all false promises after you have paid them there desired amount

Big issue with Nokia Lumia 720, people calling can't hear a thing.
It has been 9 days since I raised this request and a month since I first turned my phone in for service. Completely frustrated with your service. I demand that you take back the phone and refund and compensate me for the inconvenience you have caused me.
My email to Nokia care ...
I purchased a new Nokia Lumia 720(Serial No: [protected]) from Croma in Bangalore a couple of months back. Within two months of purchasing the phone, there was an issue with the ringer. When someone called, I would hear no ringing at all. When I played music on the speakers, there was no sound. I didn't expect this in the least from such an expensive Nokia phone.

When I gave the phone to Nokia Care centre in Bangalore (Ms Silk Technologies Marathalli), they fixed the ringer the next day, but managed to get scratches on the back panel and introduced an issue with the volume controls. Now even when I reduced volume to 0 sometimes I could still hear the music play on the speakers or headphone. After having waited an hour and a half, they asked me to leave the phone with them saying they will replace the back panel and fix the volume issues.

I had to go back multiple times to Nokia care, leaving my phone and being without a replacement handset for days.

I had called the Nokia contact centre number and raised an issue and requested that you replace the handset. However after days of patient waiting, the response from you was dismal.

Ms Silk Technologies (Nokia care) called me the other day to inform that the phone was fixed again. They couldn't tell me what had gone wrong or how the issues were fixed. They simply said the volume issue is fixed and the back panel is replaced.

When I reached the centre, I had to wait for an hour again before they handed me the phone.
They had replaced the volume panel to fix the volume issue.
However, instead of replacing the back panel, they had replaced the touch screen instead!!!
Why replace a good, original working touch screen???????
They then asked me to wait and proceeded to replace the back panel.
When I tested the phone again, I found that there was a defect in the touch screen they had replaced.
They made me wait some more time before replacing the touch screen again. I don't understand why they replaced a good touch screen in the first place.
Again I could detect faint marks on the back panel where they had tried to remove the touch screen. They told me they have to manually lift the touch screen from the back panel and that only your factory had equipment which could neatly detach the touch screen from the back panel. What nonsense is this!!

While waiting at the service centre, I managed to speak to quite a few people around there who had issues with Lumia 720 phones. Clearly, you have some major issues with this handset.

It was quite late in the evening before I was finally handed the phone.

Please note, I now have a phone which is not even a couple of months old but which has the the following parts replaced
-. ringer
-. touch screen
-. back panel
-. volume controls
Clearly this was a faulty piece that was sold to me requiring replacement of so many parts. Instead of replacing all these parts Nokia should simply have replaced the faulty handset.

However I still decided to take the phone.

Next day when I started receiving calls, people calling me complained they could hardly hear me and I could hear a good amount of static noise. I had to speak up real loud or even call them back. Further after some time, I was not able to hear anything when someone called. Can you imagine my horror.

Somehow after restarting the phone, I was able to hear when someone called. However people are still complaining sometimes they can hardly hear me and I continue to hear the static sound.

I'm completely frustrated at this point. I complained to Ms Silk Technologies and their response was that I leave the phone with them again.

Thanks but no thanks, I have been running behind them and you since 3rd Dec. I can't afford to waste more time running between work and nokia care.

The decent thing for Nokia to do at this point is to refund my money and take back the phone.

I'm completely frustrated with this experience. I had expected a much more robust phone from Nokia, alas that has not been the case.
Nokia India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Also if you standard response is going to be that I write to [protected]@nokia.com, I have already done that.
Here is my further email to Nokia
Hi,
Someone from your escalations department called and said things like 'we can't keep replacing for everyone' and spoke at length about Nokia Policies and service.

Please pay cognizance to the below facts

- Cost I paid for the set is a premium Rs 18, 499/-

- Issues being experienced since 3rd of December.

- The set was hardly 2 months old when it started developing issues with the ringer.
- Your Nokia Care centre(M/s Silk Technologies) replaced the ringer and managed to spoil the volume controls plus got marks/scratches on the back panel where it joins the touch screen. I made two visits until now. Each visit took about an hour to an hour and a half.
[They informed they don't have the machines to neatly open the device. Really!! What Nokia Policies allow for your Service Centres being ill equipped. They couldn't/wouldn't tell me what the issue was with the ringer or why they had to be replace.]

- They asked me to leave the set with them.

- After much following up when I went to pick the set again. After another hour of waiting they gave me the set. I found the volume controls were okay. However the marks/ scratches on the back panel were still there.

- On asking what they replaced, they said "touch screen sir".
["Touch Screen" really!! Why?? At this point I lost all trust in your abilities to service effectively. There is a whale of a difference between back panel and touch screen. What Nokia Policies allow for such inefficiencies and blunders. I lost a good working original touch screen which I had protected with a screen guard.]

- Some more waiting and they proceeded to replace the back panel now.

- Subsequently when I looked closely, I could see a defect in the touch screen they had replaced!!! [Again What Nokia Policies allow for faulty parts replacing good original parts?]

- After more waiting, they then replaced the touch screen again. [Please note. Had I not noticed then, I would've had to make another trip to the Service Centre to get the screen replaced.]

- Next day when I tried receiving/placing calls, to my horror I realized people on the other end weren't able to hear me clearly. I ended up making multiple calls. [Don't Nokia Policies allow for handsets to be properly tested by your personnel or machinery before returning them to customers? I want to know what went wrong now? How was it that while fixing the ringer and volume controls that you introduced this issue?]

- I called The Nokia Care centre (M/s silk technologies) and informed them of this issue. They said they would call me back. They never did. [What Nokia Policies allow for such casual attitude and poor service towards customers?]

- I called Nokia Care / Raised another ticket with you on 21st Dec.
[At this point I'm convinced I don't want to continue this relationship with Nokia with all these hassles and ask for a refund and return of the set]
- Subsequently after a long and excruciating wait, someone called and informed they have escalated the case to the highest possible level and requested me to take the set to an alternative Service Centre and that in due course there would be a 'desirable resolution'. I made it ABUNDANTLY clear that for me the only desirable resolution would be a FULL REFUND and compensation or a REPLACEMENT.

- I've had to run multiple times to your Service Centres and have written several emails and spoken several times with your Nokia contact centre folks. [What Nokia policies believe in charging a premium and harassing and wasting a customer's time in this manner?]

- You now have the audacity to call me and tell me that you will not replace. That if you replaced, you would have to do so for any and everybody. How do you guarantee that this time you've fixed this issue and NOT INTRODUCED ANOTHER?

- It is the 7th of Jan today. More that a month since I've been experiencing issues and atleast 4 visits to your service centres. Numerous calls and emails. Is this issue still being treated as 'just another issue' and do you still believe I'm just another 'any or everybody' ?

Either the piece I was sold was defective OR in the process of trying to fix, the Nokia Care Centre had badly spoiled the set. In either case good ethics and to me good policies would dictate that Nokia do the decent thing and refund and compensate me for the inconvenience caused for the time I've lost or in the least replace the handset.
If such a case had risen anywhere in Europe or the the US, would you speak the same policies then? Why do you take your Indian customer for granted?

In Summary now, you have replaced
- the ringer
- the back panel
- the touch screen (twice)
- perhaps the microphone now
- God know what other parts will follow.

Wouldn't it be easier and simpler to replace the handset, rather than replacing it piece for piece?
Dear Nitin,

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. This will help us greatly to improve our service standards for you.

Hi,
Finally someone from Nokia called and informed that some "UI flex" has been replaced in the phone and that it should work now.

They are not able too explain to me what "UI flex" is, how it is connected to my voice not being heard at the other end. Why the so called "UI flex" went wrong (there were no issues with voice not being heard when I first submitted the set on 3rd Dec). The only explanation they could give was that since there was an issue with volume controls the "UL flex" was replaced. I still can't understand how "UI flex" which should fix volume controls is related to speech not being heard by the other side. To my understanding if they had said there was an issue with the mic and the same was fixed or replaced, that would sound more reasonable.

Clearly this shows Nokia ineptness in fixing/resolving issues. What guarantee do they give that there will be no other issues experienced now? It is a significant waste of my time travelling back and forth to their Service Centres. Having to explain the issues over and over. Completely reconfiguring the phone again with data, contacts, business account only to discover another issue.

The person who called me also assured that should I pick up the phone and should I face any further issue she would get it replaced.

Looks like Nokia has a 'policy' which allows for device replacement if the set is sent to them some 4 times.

Please note.
1st issue: Ringer. - Ringer Replaced but introduced issue with volume controls plus scrathes on back panel.
2nd issue: Volume Controls. Was resolved by replacing volume unit.
3rd issue: Scratches on back panel. Resolved by relacing back panel.
4th issue: Incorrect replacement of working touch screen. Resolved by replacing the touch screen twice.
5th issue: No sound heard at far end. "UI flex" replaced.

Number of trips to nokia care centres 4.

Sardosh, If I had raised separate issues or tickets for each of these issues, or collected the handset and then discovered an issue and gone back, you would have your requisite number of tickets/issues.

The only resolution I'll accept is that you refund and compensate me for the inconvenience caused. The set is with Nokia care centre. Please issue a full refund plus compensation to me.

Regards,
Nitin
Again a dismal response from Nokia. You don't have a policy to refund/compensate. I asked you which of your policies allow for inconveniencing the customer in this manner in an earlier point by point email. I received no response to that.

Once again you are incorrect in stating that I pick the set up from Silk technologies. If you assessed the case closely you would realise that the set is now with Samvradhi Technologies. Clearly this only shows that you have only attached a fleeting analysis to the case.

Please pay cognizance to the multiple replacements/repairs the set has had to undergo either because it was defective or thanks to poor/mis-handling by Nokia Service centre.
I'll request again that you assess this case. This is not just another customer asking for a replacement on a whim. I believe strongly my request for replacement is well justified.
and tell me why you consider the set shouldn't be replaced?
Also what guarantee do you provide that after I pick the set, there will be no further issues?

One of your representatives from the escalation department mentioned over the phone that this time around if there was another issue I needn't have to visit the service centre and that you would directly provide the replacement.
Can you give me this assurance in writing?

Frankly I don't want to waste any more of my time going all the way to your service centre, waiting for an hour or two, picking up the set, setting my data and configuration back up again only to learn there is another issue and I have to repeat the whole process again.

Regards,
Nitin

I bought nokia lumia 720 in june 2013. since then, it is two times i have faced the same issue that mic is not working.. last time i went to customer care centre in noida sector 2, they returned the phone saying we have factory reset it and its working fine. Again faced the same problem, I reset the phone myself and it didnt started at all. after 2 days of submitting the phone in nokia care, i am said that water has gone in your phone and it cannot be repaired here. When i asked how can the water go inside when it has simply stopped working after i reset it.. the person said that while talking on the phone, moisture gets inside. I have heard this reason for the first time...
Besides this, When i called them at first, a female employee picked up the phone and after just half conversation she said call you in five minutes. I waited for the call but it didnt come, Finally i called them again. this time a male employee picked and said that no it wasnt disconnected. When asked the status of my phone and what they are actually fooling me, i could hear these people laughing. This behaviour from a reputed company like nokia is not expected. Highly disappointed from the service. Once i receive my phone back i m not going to keep with nokia any more

I bought a nokia lumia 520 mobile on 19/11/2013 and within a month my phone gets over heated within 5 mins during browsing in normal 2G network. After I have taken my mobile to nokia care in koramangala and they asked me to wait for more than 1 hour and gave me the phone back that now the phone is working fine but the very next day the problem arised and customer care people told me to hand over the phone to the same nokia care center and I did the same. And after 1 week they are saying again that your phone is fine now and asking me to collect again. I have clearly told them that I don't need such a faulty phone again and provide a new phone or money back. They are not willing to accept this and someone from nokia called me that phones tend to heat and that's not a problem. How come I know that they have not replaced any parts in it and that too less than a month. Kindly do the needful.Im hereby attaching all the receipts and job sheets for your reference. Pls get me a brand new one and Rs 30000 for damages, irresponsible behaviour and selling a faulty phone 1. Over 100 kms travelled twice.2.made us wait for an hour.3. Service centre / customer care people treated us like beggars.4. Traveling charge 1000 and phone charge for calling both customer care & service centre people nearly 30 times and approximate charge Rs 200.

With due respect I would like to mention here about the serious negligence of your recognized service center M/S Tele Solutions, DN-1, Sector -5, Saltlake, Eternity Building, Kolkata - 700091. In this connection it is brought to your kind notice that I have purchased one Nokia ASHA 200 Mobile, EMI No. [protected] and [protected] on 21.04.2012 from M/S Creative Eye, Mission Para, Rahara, North 2 Parganas, Kolkata - 7000118 West Bengal. Xerox copy of the Invoice/Challan bearing No. 8197 dated 21.04.2012 is enclosed. The mobile set has developed some difficulties viz. hanged during call repeatedly after one year from purchase date. I contacted several times for repairing the same since June'2013. The service center has expressed their inability to repair my mobile set indicating "HADRWARE FAILURE, NOT REPAIRABLE HERE R.W.R." Xerox copy of the Technical verification Form issued by the your recognized service center M/S Tele Solutions, DN-1, Sector -5, Saltlake, Eternity Building, Kolkata - 700091 is also enclosed.
It is regret to mention here that if such mobile set of one reputed company becomes defective and declare un-repairable just use of one year which will spoil the goodwill of the international NOKIA company. In view of the above facts, I earnestly request to you kindly arrange to repair my mobile set immediately, otherwise I will compel to take shelter of judicial action against such international NOKIA company.
Thanking you, yours faithfully, Sri S.K.Saha. My contact No. [protected] Email me [protected]@gmail.com.

Address: Mumbai City, Maharashtra

I purchased a Nokia Lumia 720 on 9th July 2013, Mumbai. within no more than 20 days time the device started showing problems it would hang in between would automatically go blank and get switched off and wouldn't start till all the batteries drained out or software reboot. I submitted it to the nokia care centre at charni road mumbai, they repaired it in some days. Again after 15 days same problem persisted with even some more. They again promised to repair it and give it back within few days. But everytime i get my device back again after 15-20 days there are new problems. So much so that they had sent the device twice to Delhi for repairing at their head office and i wouldnt have my phone with me for 15 days. It so happened that in 4 months i submitted my phone 5 times to be repaired and so my supposedly brand new phone wasnt with me for almost one and a half month and otherwise it would be in proper working condition. MY QUESTION TO NOKIA IS THIS YOUR QUALITY PRODUCT? IS THIS FOR WHAT I SPENT MY RS17, 500 ? To suffer with a faulty device? again and again visit the Nokia Care Centre waiting in the long ques letting my work suffer? to lose all my data, contacts, etc as it gets formatted and again restore data everytime? to keep calling the nokia care to find out if its repaired ? finding out if the manager is in office and can look into the issue? Inspite of all this and me constantly asking for a replacement i agreed with the manager promising me that they have completely repaired my phone and there wont be any issues further trusting the Nokia Brand. Not more than a month and again there are issues with my device the camera isnt working properly. And now i refuse to take a repaired phone i either want a new replacement or my money back.I havnt spent rs 17, 500 to waste more money, time and loose my mental peace or keep using a repaired phone. And as my phone is under warranty it might get repaired but what when its warranty is over ? The company wouldnt even entertain us. Looking forward for an immediate, responsible reply. IMEI Number: [protected] Job sheet Number:[protected]/131212/36

dear sir, I have nokia lumia 620 which has 8 gb internal memory with sd card support. when I download the documents, videos by apps it goes to phone memory and phone memory fills . the videos, docs, files cannot move to sd card also if I connect the phone with pc then also I cannot see the videos, docs downloaded by apps. The nokia says it is for memory access security but it is very painful to use the phone. if nokia don't have such a facility in the phone then company should declare before buying the phone. it has no such file manager that can move, cut, copy, delete the contents of phone memory and sd card memory also no apps has access to sd card memory so we cannot save the downloads to sd card.

Dear Sir/Madam I purchased a Lumia 720 on 3 sep 2013. Because of some issues, it had to be submitted at the Nokia service centre 3 times in october for almost 20 days. At that time, i requested for a replacement of the device but I was assured that the device should work fine and incase i face any issues in future, this will be taken care of. Now again after 2 months, my handset started giving some problem. Its been more than 15 days since I have raised a ticket at Nokia Care (Service Req: 1-[protected]). Each time i call up at Nokia Care to know the status of this service request, I am told that the backend team is looking into it and will contact me soon. I purchased a device worth Rs 18000 and in past 3 months and 8 days, its been at the service center 4 times, in total for around 1 month and 7 days. Will I ever get a resolution for the same? Is this what Nokia stands For? Each time at Nokia Care I am given a time frame that you will get a call back in 48 hours or 72 hours, but no one is ready to tell me the MAXIMUM time taken to resolve an issue completely. Its just going in circles. Please do the needful!!

Dear Sir/Madam

I have sent all the details through email @ the above mentioned email address. Please do the needful.
Just few minutes back I received a call from the backend team (after I initiated the same through Nokia care) . I was told that my Nokia Lumia 720 device has been fixed by the Nokia Service center and it will work fine AND THERE WILL BE NO REPLACEMENT FOR IT.

Inspite of my repeated requests for looking into the issue again, I was denied the same.

If the handset had to be submitted to a service center 4 times in 3 months ... and stays there for almost 1 month.. You STILL think the device is OK AND THERE IS NO NEED FOR REPLACEMENT??

I need a replacement for the same. Please look into it and do the needful.

WITH EVERY PASSING DAY, THE DURATION OF WARRANTY IS ALSO GETTING REDUCED, EVEN WHEN I AM NOT REALLY USING THE DEVICE!!
NO PROGRESS YET!!
NO RESPONSE YET!!

I had purchased a Nokia Lumia 620 IMEL NO. [protected] from Spice Hot Spot, G5 and G4A, District Center Janak Puri, N. Delhi 110058 on 21.05.2013 against retail invoice no. 16769.
The hand set just gone dead last night and I took it to Nokia Care, Net Dot, Authorized center, A5/1, First Floor, Tilak Nagar, Opp Police Station, New Delhi-110018, who refused to repair it under guarantee/ warantee as they claim there is moisture ingress in the hand set. Please note that the set has not faced any liquid drop or coverage at any time in last six months it is in my possession. In view of the above, I request corporate response on respecting the guarantee/ warrantee as I view, this situation to be best a design defect that hand set in normal usage has attracted moisture ingress and needs repairs/ replacement

It is to report the closure of this complaint. Nokia contacted us on 5.12.2013 and asked to leave the handeset at their same service center, which had initially declined service. The was replaced with a new one on 17.12.2013. However, there was no official communication from Nokia.

Anyway, we must thank Team Nokia and Indian Consumer Complaints Forum for the positive results, though we had bought another Nokia handset (of course, a lower and cheaper one after the initial refusal at some cost, which we will try to dispose now!!)

My Nokia Lumia820 fell down in half water bucket got wet just for few seconds only, & i went to Nokia Care center Kottayam, they said need to change the Display completely & it will cost around by 5800 ( if without bill it cost only 4800) & with in one hour they changed the display with the amount of 4800 INR, at that spot o noted some paper part on the side of the display when i shown this to them they suddenly opened the mobile fully & solved the problem but the next morning i found lots of dirt on the display they didn't clean the display or inner part of display glass properly before fixing new display cause of their lighting ambiance it was not easy to find those issues from out side its very much visible, Today i went back to Nokia Care again & shown the dirt on the display but after long time of waiting they said if we open the display once again it can harm the mobile we cant give guarantee for it ! i purchased this Lumia820 on last March 2013 with the amount of 26700 INR & still its under warranty period, cause of the lack of technician's service my highly paid expensive mobile phone display is full of dirt now, & they are not taking the responsibility for it. i mailed the complaint to Nokia headquarters in Finland & just waiting for the response from Nokia .
